The 1/31 Nuke: Proof for Ron Paul
By Captain Eric H. May - Military Correspondent
Many citizens who have read my recent columns about false flag attempts in the East Texas oil patch have urged me to contact Congressman Paul with details. A fair number of them believe that it was the Bush administration’s design on his own Texas Congressional District 14 that prompted his presidential bid.

TARFUSI and Absurdity
by Tony Pivetta
by Tony Pivetta
DIGG THIS
It was a simpler time. Al Gore had yet to invent the Internet. Daringly opinionated people still revered Abraham Lincoln. The godless Communists – not Islamic extremists – were the Implacable Enemy With Whom No Compromise Is Possible. So implacable, in fact, that the CIA for years had been merrily arming, funding and training Islamic extremists – the current Implacable Enemy With Whom No Compromise Is Possible – to repel those same godless Communists from a Muslim nation they had invaded and were brutally occupying. Most notably, negative campaigning, not subtleties positing causative links between freelance terrorism and the National Greatness variety, sparked the heated controversy of the day.
As Libertarian Party candidate, Congressman Ron Paul hardly made a splash in the presidential campaign of 1988, receiving about one-half of one percent of the popular vote.

Will Ron Paul Disappoint Me?
by Kevin Hildebeidel
by Kevin Hildebeidel
DIGG THIS
In the early, rural primaries and caucuses, Ron Paul has achieved very weak results. Sure, he took second place in Nevada (misrepresented on some news pages) and is practically guaranteed to sweep his home state of Texas, and has gotten ten to even fourteen percent of the votes in some states, but no matter how you slice it, this is not a favorable omen when the leading candidates are pulling numbers in the thirty percent range.

No hops means no brew
Key beer ingredient in short supply for state’s craft brewing industry
Joel J. Smith / The Detroit News
Michigan’s 70 microbreweries are over a barrel.
It’s not because they can’t find anyone to drink their suds. Michiganians swill down at least 90,000 barrels a year of the customized brews.
The problem is the beermakers can’t find hops, a key ingredient of beer, at any price.

Could Ron Paul Trigger a GOP Revival?
by Colin Colenso
by Colin Colenso
DIGG THIS
Only the most Panglossian Republican die-hard would not recognize the Republican party is in serious trouble. Regardless of whether one supports the war or not, it is pretty clear that Republicans are losing favor due to the war and the effect that war spending is having on the economy. The Republican party will struggle to survive if it is to focus primarily on a policy that disenfranchises a large majority of the nation.

ILLEGAL ALIEN MIGRANTS: WHY HERE, WHY THEY STAY
By Frosty Wooldridge
January 31, 2008

In this third and final interview, Michael Folkerth’s book: “THE BIGGEST LIE EVER BELIEVED” exposes America’s greatest crisis—unending growth.
Trying to corner Clinton, Obama, Romney and McCain into addressing America’s immigration invasion proves harder than arm wrestling an octopus! Trying to get our apathetic American public to force definitive answers from this presidential quartet proves tougher than bringing an Egyptian mummy back to life.

WE’LL GET THE PRESIDENT WE DESERVEBy Mary Starrett
January 31, 2008
NewsWithViews.com
Try this. Ask fellow “conservatives” who our next president should be. After you hear the candidate’s name ask: “Why?”
Nine times out of ten, you’ll hear some mutterings like: “He’s really conservative” or “We need a Christian in the White House” or “He’s the best qualified.” Ask for some specifics and you’re likely to see eyes shift downward as the subject is changed.
The truth of the matter is, most people are woefully uninformed and are buying the lying of ‘front-runner’ candidates and their media sock puppets.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. ~1st Amendment to the US Constitution
Look for the period. In our English language a period is very significant. It marks the end of a thought. Go back and look for the period. The entire 1st Amendment is one compound sentence; it is not a collection of un-related thoughts.

“If the American people ever allow the banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation, and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property, until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power of money should be taken from banks and restored to Congress and the people to whom it belongs. I sincerely believe the banking institutions having the issuing power of money, are more dangerous to liberty than standing armies.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

With John McCain’s all-too-easy road to the nomination paved through Florida and now nearly complete one thing is clear: The Republican Party has been hijacked. Over the past month a new Axis of Evil has emerged — not one based in Damascus, Tehran or Pyongyang — but instead in Cedar Rapids, Charleston, South Carolina, Derry, New Hampshire and Boca Raton, Florida.

Arm Yourself
by Charley Reese
“Two more points: Before you buy a gun for self-defense, make sure you are psychologically prepared to take a human life. That’s not a minor thing. Death is irrevocable. There are always consequences. If you aren’t prepared to deal with them, then you’re better off buying pepper spray and a pair of running shoes.”
“Secondly, learn to use your gun. That means lots of practice. If an attack comes, it will come unexpectedly and suddenly, and you won’t have time to fumble around wondering where the safety catch is. Always shoot to kill.”

The Threadbare Cloak Of Invisibility
Jim Kirwan
1-29-8
Last night in the Principality of D.C. we saw a re-run from the fabled days of Camelot, being acted out by Trolls and Orcs, inside the hallowed halls of what was built to be the House of Government. Here assembled before the television cameras were the leaders and the principles of those medieval and Machiavellian Courts of Privilege that once attended to the whims of Kings and Conquerors. Last night’s version of this gathering of the dead and dying only clarified the key challenge before the populace today.

FALSE PROPHETS
Rudy Takala
January 30, 2008
NewsWithViews.com
There are a couple of ways that you might categorize people in politics. One brand is characterized by idealists who believe in what they are doing, advocating for the principles in which they believe. The second brand isn’t as concerned with principle; to them idealism is a means to personal power, a way to speak to people looking for a leader. They are especially sanctimonious about their beliefs and are particularly quick to denounce those who disagree with them as being morally bankrupt crooks. It is why they are attracted to religion; it gives them justification.

OBAMA’S RAMBO FOREIGN POLICY
By Cliff Kincaid
January 30, 2008

The Obama vs. Hillary fight looks mean and nasty. But it also looks like one of those “professional” wrestling bouts rehearsed in advanced and orchestrated in the ring. The crowd gets excited even though the sophisticated observers understand that the outcome is pre-determined. Bill Clinton wins no matter what happens because his old associates are advising both candidates. And while the U.S. may get out of Iraq, a new Democratic Administration could lead to more U.S. military intervention around the world, a bigger Army, and even a military draft.

First, let it be known that I despise the State and everything it stands for. Let it also be known that as long as people like me exist, Judgment Day forever reigns upon this amoral, criminal institution. Let it further be known that I am under no natural obligation to support its functions, monetarily, morally, or otherwise – the only reason I cooperate is because I will be arrested, detained, and imprisoned if I fail to do so. If I resist too boldly, I will be shot by the cops. So it goes.
