Doctor Have Mercy

DIGG THIS

Once upon a time, America was almost a mirror of Ron Paul’s vision:

There were No Infringements on States Rights, No Gun Laws, No Department of Education, No HUD, No Paper Fiat Money, No Federal Reserve Banking System, No IRS, Little to No Illegal Immigration, No TSA, No Welfare State, No Unlawful Searches and Seizures, No Wars for Profit or Empire, No Standing Army, No State Police, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Of course you know all this if you have ever read anything written by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or Ron Paul.

Arm Yourself

by Charley Reese

“Two more points: Before you buy a gun for self-defense, make sure you are psychologically prepared to take a human life. That’s not a minor thing. Death is irrevocable. There are always consequences. If you aren’t prepared to deal with them, then you’re better off buying pepper spray and a pair of running shoes.”

“Secondly, learn to use your gun. That means lots of practice. If an attack comes, it will come unexpectedly and suddenly, and you won’t have time to fumble around wondering where the safety catch is. Always shoot to kill.”

EXCERPT:
George Washington was definitely not the first President of the United States. He was the first President of the United States under the Constitution we follow today. And the first seven Presidents are forgotten in history.

The Threadbare Cloak Of Invisibility

Last night in the Principality of D.C. we saw a re-run from the fabled days of Camelot, being acted out by Trolls and Orcs, inside the hallowed halls of what was built to be the House of Government. Here assembled before the television cameras were the leaders and the principles of those medieval and Machiavellian Courts of Privilege that once attended to the whims of Kings and Conquerors. Last night’s version of this gathering of the dead and dying only clarified the key challenge before the populace today.

FALSE PROPHETS

There are a couple of ways that you might categorize people in politics. One brand is characterized by idealists who believe in what they are doing, advocating for the principles in which they believe. The second brand isn’t as concerned with principle; to them idealism is a means to personal power, a way to speak to people looking for a leader. They are especially sanctimonious about their beliefs and are particularly quick to denounce those who disagree with them as being morally bankrupt crooks. It is why they are attracted to religion; it gives them justification.

AMERICA AT THE CROSSROADS, WHICH WAY TO TURN?

I am prepared to do this alone, but I prefer some able bodied assistance if anyone wants to lend me a hand. This is not a task for the faint-hearted or those that really don’t understand what this may start in motion. This is a mission in every sense of the word and one that has implications that are too broad and far reaching to even begin to try to contemplate just now.

OBAMA’S RAMBO FOREIGN POLICY

By Cliff Kincaid

The Obama vs. Hillary fight looks mean and nasty. But it also looks like one of those “professional” wrestling bouts rehearsed in advanced and orchestrated in the ring. The crowd gets excited even though the sophisticated observers understand that the outcome is pre-determined. Bill Clinton wins no matter what happens because his old associates are advising both candidates. And while the U.S. may get out of Iraq, a new Democratic Administration could lead to more U.S. military intervention around the world, a bigger Army, and even a military draft.

CHANGE! However hollow its promises, this common catchword does bring an illusion of unity. For even the most diverse politicians, pastors, managers and media masters across America seem to agree on this point: Change is essential to their own success.”

I’m an Anarchist, and I Don’t Hate the Troops

by Marcel Votlucka

First, let it be known that I despise the State and everything it stands for.  Let it also be known that as long as people like me exist, Judgment Day forever reigns upon this amoral, criminal institution.  Let it further be known that I am under no natural obligation to support its functions, monetarily, morally, or otherwise – the only reason I cooperate is because I will be arrested, detained, and imprisoned if I fail to do so.  If I resist too boldly, I will be shot by the cops.  So it goes.

Marshall finds the elastic in the Commerce Clause

Gibbons v. Ogden (1824) involved Robert Fulton, the man who invented the steamship.

New York legislature granted Fulton a 30 year monopoly of “navigation of all the waters within the jurisdiction of that state….” The issue was whether Congress’s Commerce Clause power belonged only to it or whether states could also regulate “commerce.

ABOUT THAT FLORIDA “CLOSED” PRIMARY and INDEPENDENTS???

January 30, 2008 Leave a comment

The following two articles by a Florida newspaper indicates that indeed Independents can—and some did vote yesterday—vote in the Florida Primary.
However, many more were refused, even after providing copies of and citing the below references.

Either this newspaper is writing bum scoop, or, as usual, the powers that be are inept/crooked….maybe both!
