Hillary Hopes You’ve Forgotten – Have You?
From Diane Rigali
2-6-8

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her “record,” which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady – or “co-president” – and her seven years in the Senate. Here is a reminder of what that record includes:

How Romney’s Departure Equals Victory for Paul

How Romney’s Departure Equals Victory for Paul Jake Morphonios

The only way that Ron Paul could have won the Republican nomination was for sufficient numbers of convention delegates to be split between McCain and Romney on the first ballot. Such a split, which would have resulted in no clear winner, would have resulted in a second ballot. On the second ballot delegates would be free to vote their consciences. Ron Paul’s “brokered convention” plan was to win as many of these delegates as possible and steal the nomination away. However, the odds were slim that Romney delegates would turn around and cast their votes for Paul over Romney.

But all that has changed!

H.G. Wells is perhaps best known for his status as the father of science fiction and his “War of the Worlds”, which was recently transformed into a modern Hollywood production. Unknown to many, Wells penned several other books and essays which were not of the science fiction genre. The “New World Order”, and the “Open Conspiracy” are two notable pieces that Wells produced.

Why a Third-Party Candidacy Makes Sense for Ron Paul

DIGG THIS

“Running as a Republican had benefits. The campaign generated media attention and organized followers. But now it’s plain that wresting control of the GOP from the neocons for this election cycle is a lost cause.

Everything changes once Ron Paul goes to a third party, however….”

Have a Heart

DIGG THIS

Indeed, Robert Jarvik should go down in history as a giant of modern medicine, a man whose ingenuity, whose ability to merge mechanical engineering and medicine have given hundreds of people a longer life and have improved the quality of life of many thousands more, including those who will benefit from the efforts of researchers who will build on Jarvik’s work. As it turns out, however, Robert Jarvik is actually a dire threat to public welfare, or so Congress would have us believe.

A former Vietnam veteran with top secret clearance says he has personally spoken to numerous POW’s who dispute John McCain’s claim that he refused to provide information after he was captured and tortured in Hanoi, saying that in fact McCain’s code-name was “Songbird” because of his willingness to tell all to avoid torture.

O’Reilly Calls Willie Nelson a Pinhead for 9/11 Remarks JonesReport.com
Thursday February 7, 2008

O’Reilly launched an attack on country legend Willie Nelson last night in retaliation for bolstering support for 9/11 Truth.

But first, Bill O’Reilly took a moment to recognize himself as one of America’s true patriots– an humble patriot, well, because he called the Super Bowl five years straight.

“It didn’t have to end like this” by Mark Mortensen

As always the astute Patrick Buchanan is ahead of the curve. Several years ago, when Mr. Buchanan voluntarily left the Republican Party, the old republican guard thought the party was better off without him, while the less vocal thought they could sweep him under the rug and ignore that it happened. They were all wrong. Today Congressman Ron Paul eloquently questions what has happened to the Republican Party?

“The object and end of all government”

Charles River Bridge v. Warren Bridge (1837) involved the Massachusetts legislature’s powers. In 1785 it had issued a grant to the Charles River Bridge Company to build a bridge in Boston and collect tolls. Then, in 1828, it authorized the Warren Bridge Company to build a new bridge and, once its costs were covered, the collection of tolls was to cease.

WELL, I DON’T WANT TO RUB IT IN, BUT…

Coach Dave Daubenmire

If you are like me, one of the least favorite comments that your spouse can say to you is “I told you so.” Well, I don’t want to rub it in, but…

“I told you so.”

Super Tuesday is over and all across America our Christian-leadership is probably waking up with a bad taste in their mouths. You know what I mean, the kind of pasty taste that a night of smoking and drinking leaves you when you first bat your eye-lids in the morning. I never smoked, but I drank enough beer to keep them working overtime at the local Budweiser plant in Columbus. I’m not proud of it, and it took a few foggy mornings and a visit from my Savior for me to come to my senses. Now if my mouth tastes like that in the morning it is probably related to the Doritos and cheese dip I had before going to bed.

To me, the situation that Christians find themselves in politically reminds me of some of my “mornings-after.” I am sure you have been there, that sense of wonderment that hits you as you lie on a strange couch and ask yourself “How did I end up here?”

How about that 1965 Immigration Reform Act that added 100 million people in four decades? How about the next 100 million immigrants added by 2040?
