My name is Edgar J. Steele.
Silver is over $20 per ounce for good. The dollar index is headed for 70, kicking and screaming every step of the way. That’s just the near term.
Long term: Can you spell “Moon,” Alice?

Five Years OnThe war for Iraq and its lessons.
by Jules Crittenden
03/24/2008, Volume 013, Issue 27
The war started with an odd bit of air turbulence just before dawn. A
waffling and whining noise, ironically enough. Hardly remarkable. Anyone who
wasn’t listening for it might have missed it.
SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES ARE A RESULT OF LIBERALISM
March 15, 2008
NewsWithViews.com
The results are in. There is an epidemic of sexually transmitted disease (STD) among teenage girls in America. The Center for Disease Control released the results of a new study and the data is startling. Among those who admitted to having sex, roughly 3 million girls are carriers of STDs. Some are life threatening. The grim reality is that 1 in 4 girls have an STD.
IS THE D.C. GUN CASE OFF TARGET? PART 1 0f 3

If the present stir among lawyers in the greater Washington, D.C., area is any indication, the forthcoming decision in the Heller case, challenging the constitutionality of the District of Columbia’s “gun-control” scheme, promises to have far-reaching effects. To hear many optimists in the pro-Second Amendment camp tell it, Heller offers a Heaven-sent opportunity for the Supreme Court to uphold the “individual right” of average Americans “to keep and bear Arms.” I, however, must admit myself a pessimist on this subject. But with no apology. For, as folk wisdom has it, “a pessimist is an optimist who knows the facts.”
OLD DOGS DON’T WANT TO LEARN NEW TRICKS

It would seem the slick has come off “Slick Willie” Clinton.
Way back in Iowa, his stump speeches for his wife were oft times concerned with…well…him. Lots of “I’s” rather than “she’s,” mentions of his legacy, his polls.
Shortly after that, he took a little center-stage snooze at a gathering commemorating Martin Luther King at the Covenant Baptist Church in Harlem. While the great champion of Civil Rights was being honored, the ex-Prez caught a little shut-eye right.

The Implosion Is Accelerating, Prepare While You Can

For thirty years, I have been writing, speaking, imploring, and begging others to make rational, concrete plans for a time in life that would offer no quarter, give no mercy, and that would in a word be–catastrophic. We are coming face to face with that moment. You have so little time left to do anything that will give you a fighting chance. What are you doing?
National Guard units are training and preparing for urban combat. The United States has just reached an agreement with Canada’s armed forces to come in to this country and assume combat roles should they be needed in American cities and towns.
FALLON
Fallon’s background
Fallon was born in East Orange, New Jersey, where he went to Camden Catholic High School, and graduated from Villanova University. He received his naval commission through the Navy ROTC Program, and was designated a Naval Flight Officer.
Fallon is a graduate of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and the National War College in Washington, D.C. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Studies from Old Dominion University.1
He Was A Carrier Pilot On The Saratoga
Fallon was a young US Naval Officer serving aboard the US Aircraft Carrier Saratoga in June, 1967, when Israel launched a surprise war against its Arab neighbors. He saw the valiant F-4 Phantom pilots rocket off the Saratoga to save the crew of the USS Liberty, only to return 15 minutes later. Heroic pilots getting out of their jets, smashed their helmets on the deck, and called Admiral McCain a treacherous bastard. 2

“America’s Spiritual Leader,” “The Divine Ms. Winfrey” and “Reverend Oprah” are some of the titles Oprah Winfrey has been given over the last 20 years. Maybe “The World’s Pastor” could now be added to the list since her show is broadcast in 136 countries. In just the United States alone, her show is seen by an estimated 49 million viewers.
