Brace yourselves – George Bush Will Soon Be Free To Do Just What He Wants
The raid on Syria is a dark portent. The current president has three long, unaccountable months to cement his legacy
By Jonathan Freedland
October 31, 2008 “The Guardian” — – We are about to enter the twilight zone, that strange black hole in political time and space that appears no more than once every four years. It is known as the period of transition, and it starts a week from today, the time when the United States has not one president but two. One will be the president-elect, the other George Bush, in power for 12 more weeks in which he can do pretty much whatever he likes. Not only will he never again have to face voters, he won’t even have to worry about damaging the prospects of his own party and its standard bearer (as if he has not damaged those enough already). From November 5 to January 20, he will exercise the freest, most unaccountable form of power the democratic world has to offer.

The politics of mass hysteria
The Spectator (U.K.) ^ | October 31, 2008 | Melanie Phillips

So what if The One should actually lose next week? The brainwashed hysteria whipped up on his behalf is, to put it mildly, dangerous. The media proclaims daily that Obama has already won. He cannot lose. He is the Saviour of the Planet. McCain is a mumbling senile idiot. Palin is evil incarnate. The polls show an Obama landslide. So if the world should revolve backwards on its axis next Tuesday and people wake up and find he has lost, then either the election will have been stolen in the way we all know evil Republicans always steal elections – or the American public will be proved to be, as we all know they are, irredeemably racist. Accordingly, we are warned that there would then be riots on the streets…..

Constitutional crisis feared
over Obama’s ‘qualifications’
Posted: October 30, 2008

WorldNetDaily
The U.S. Supreme Court is being asked to help the nation avoid a constitutional crisis by halting Tuesday’s election until Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama documents his eligibility to run for the top office in the nation.
Democratic attorney Philip Berg had filed a lawsuit alleging Obama is ineligible to be president because of possible birth in Kenya, but as WND reported, a federal judge dismissed the complaint claiming Berg lacks standing to bring the action.

Philip J. Berg |
The 34-page memorandum that accompanied the court order from Judge R. Barclay Surrick concluded ordinary citizens can’t sue to ensure that a presidential candidate actually meets the constitutional requirements of the office.
Instead, Surrick said Congress could determine “that citizens, voters, or party members should police the Constitution’s eligibility requirements for the Presidency,” but that it would take new laws to grant individual citizens that ability.
“Until that time,” Surrick says, “voters do not have standing to bring the sort of challenge that Plaintiff attempts to bring.”
(Story continues below)
Berg has maintained that uncertainty about how the U.S. does enforce the requirements of presidency may result in a constitutional crisis should an ineligible candidate win the office.

Erica Jong, 1976.
It seems that the final days of the presidential campaign have made Erica Jong and her friends more than a little anxious.
A few days ago, Jong, the author and self-described feminist, gave an interview to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera, the choicest bits of which were brought to my attention by the reliably sharp-eyed Christian Rocca, the U.S. correspondent of Il Foglio, who published excerpts on his Camillo blog. Basically, Jong says her fear that Obama might lose the election has developed into an “obsession. A paralyzing terror. An anxious fever that keeps you awake at night.” She also says that her friends Jane Fonda and Naomi Wolf are extremely worried that Obama will be sabotaged by Republican dirty tricks, and that if an Obama loss indeed comes to pass, the result will be a second American Civil War.

If Barack Obama is not a socialist, he does the best imitation of one I’ve ever seen.
Under his tax plan, the top 5 percent of wage-earners have their income tax rates raised from 35 percent to 40 percent, while the bottom 40 percent of all wage-earners, who pay no income tax, are sent federal checks.
If this is not the socialist redistribution of wealth, what is it?
A steeply graduated income tax has always been the preferred weapon of the left for bringing about socialist equality. Indeed, in the “Communist Manifesto” of 1848, Karl Marx was himself among the first to call for “a heavy progressive or graduated income tax.”

Joe Biden made headlines by talking about a “generated crisis” for a President Obama. But is the current financial meltdown another “generated crisis?” Considering the problems in the economy, including too much federal debt, too much spending and easy credit, which have been with us for years, why did this crisis suddenly occur only six weeks before the election?
And is it just a coincidence that it occurred at a time when John McCain was leading in the national public opinion polls and appeared to be on his way to a November 4 election victory?
The crisis was man-made. It is a fact that President Bush’s Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, who worked for a Democratic firm, Goldman Sachs, and has very close ties to Communist China, is the one who convinced Bush to demand hundreds of billions of bailout dollars from Congress.

Oh good! Now we see millions paid for Obama’s 30-minute infomercial plastered everywhere on national TV accept Fox. What a shock he denied Fox of the privilege of his presence. It was choreographed, smooth, a literal, acted out movie designed to continue and enhance the national seduction. Don’t you dare look at the man behind the curtain, the hideous voting record, the ongoing and lied about associations with former unrepentant terrorists, anti Semitic racists, Muslim extremists, communists and racist preachers. Just notice the timed rhetoric, cool clothes and hair and his hypnotic mantra about change from Bush.

Thanks to journalist Jerome Corsi, we now know for a fact that Democrat presidential candidate Barak Obama is joined at the hip with Kenya’s Marxist thug Raila Odinga, now the country’s Prime Minister.
Obama campaigned for Odinga in 2006 and had the foreign policy aide in his U.S. Senate office (Mark Lippert) act as intermediary during Odinga’s 2007 campaign for president which he lost last December. The campaign plan that Odinga laid out was developed in cooperation with Obama.
Odinga’s plan contained a specific provision for resorting to class (inter-tribal) warfare in the likely event that he, with his Luo tribal base, would lose to the much more numerous Kikuyus who support Kenyan president Mwai Kibaki. See the document here.

After the last week of market disasters and scenes of mobs clamoring for just a glimpse of Barack Hussein Obama, I had all of these thoughts fresh in my mind as I ended my radio show and finally fell asleep last Saturday. My last conscious thoughts were of the dark clouds coming ashore in America and what our response to martial law, shortages, imprisoned patriots, and riots would be……
I seemed to be present as military leaders exclaimed during heated campaigns, over the great map of America, “the battle lines are becoming clear.” I saw riflemen on the field of combat as they whispered to each other at four a.m., “I can smell ‘em coming.” The meaning was the same. All hell was about to break out. Indeed my fellow patriots, constitutionalists, and true citizens of the failing Republic, HELL IS staring you in the eyeballs.
As much as it has truly pained me to the core, I have come to the irreconcilable fact that on Election Day, the line will be drawn. We will no longer argue amicably about politics or the latest imbecilic actions occurring in Washington, our statehouses, or in court rooms. We are considering for the first time in our lives, the unthinkable. That is, my neighbor, my associates in the office, my cousin, or my fellow citizen has become my potential enemy. They have betrayed me and what is left of my grandfather’s country.

Well, now we know why Barack Obama’s been so reluctant to have symbols of this country associated with his campaign. No flags on his airplane. Nix to pins on his lapel. Not inclined to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem.
After all, it turns out he has a problem with that other slightly more significant representation of our nation, the United States Constitution.
Just as he tried to prove to everyone that his patriotism was demonstrated by the lack of symbols of the United States, so he is now arguing that his passion for the Constitution is demonstrated by his commitment to shredding it.
The Drudge Report and other legitimate investigative sources like the National Review, have exposed the most damning evidence yet of Barack Obama’s utter disregard for the core principles of the United States government. In a radio interview given in 2001, Obama reveals yet again about what he means by ‘equality,’ when he says, “…the Supreme Court never entered into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society.”

After observing the growth of Barack Hussein Obama’s increasingly militant and dictatorial movement over the last several months, I have—on many occasions—been reminded of the infamous Russian tyrant Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin. As the actual facts about Stalin may now have been omitted from US middle and high school teaching textbooks, I’ll provide a brief summary of Stalin’s achievements.
One major difference between Obama and Stalin, however, is that Stalin is said to have gradually increased power within the Soviet Union’s Communist Party. Obama is grabbing it immediately and will keep his power in place via his “Truth Squads”, his militant Obama Youth (as the Nazis had their “Hitler Youth” this is more Hitlerian that Stalinistic) and his national voter fraud unit ACORN.

Many people disapprove of the U.S. war against terror, or of how it is being conducted. But what is the alternative, other than changes in U.S. foreign policy?
One alternative to U.S. military action against terrorists who have attacked the U.S. and other countries, and are threatening further attacks, is to enact Letters of Marque and Reprisal. Article I, Section 8, paragraph 11 of the U.S. Constitution authorizes Congress to “grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water.” A “reprisal” means an action taken in return for some injury. A reprisal could be a seizing of property or guilty persons in retaliation for an attack and injury. It could include forced used against the perpetrators for the redress of grievances. A reprisal could even involve killing a terrorist who is threatening further harm and cannot be captured.

Just Because I’m Paranoid Doesn’t Mean It Isn’t True
Matt Towery
Thursday, October 30, 2008
Everyone gets to shamelessly promote his or her own new book. And I’m everybody right now. But I’ve got something interesting to say, so read on.
“Paranoid Nation: The Real Story of The 2008 Fight For The Presidency” is already on sale at Amazon.com, and it will be on bookshelves Nov. 5, the day after the election. (And just in time for the holidays!) At one point it was already in the top 1 percent of Amazon books. I hope that my loyal readers — the sympathetic and the not so — will buy a copy and spread the word.
The real story of the election sketches the astonishing number of unanswered questions and untold stories of how — probably — Barack Obama will have gotten elected. (If he doesn’t, my fast fingers will be explaining his upset at the tail end of the book!)
– Here are just some of the strange facts surrounding this historic presidential contest:
– Barack Obama’s current director of campaign field operations started the job of organizing the state of Iowa for an Obama for President campaign the same month in 2005 that Obama was sworn in as a U.S. senator.

Muslims all over the world are mystified by presumptive President Barack Hussein Obama’s denial of being a Muslim and his claim to be a born again Christian.
Islamic leaders are pointedly resisting Obama’s repudiation of being a child of Islam because under the rigid tenets of Islamic law, a baby born to a Muslim parent is a Muslim forever. Obama’s Kenyan grandfather, father and Indonesian stepfather were Muslims. Barack Hussein Obama Sr. named his boy Barack Hussein Obama Jr. Only Muslim children are named “Hussein.”

In a recent speech, Barack Obama said, “We need to share the wealth with everyone!”
One of the infamous writers of the past, Karl Marx, said, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”
Marx created socialism–communism, which proved one of the most dangerous and ominous economic tragedies of all time. Socialism works against human nature. It demands those who work share with those who don’t work. From our experiences in the past 100 years, it only works out of the barrel of a gun. As long as you hold the gun, you may enforce the tenets of communism! Finally, it espouses a classless society. From all the countries I visited during my world travels, places like dictatorship-driven China manifest Marx’s ideas at their worst.
As a college kid, I remember how colleges presented full ride scholarships to inner city athletes who could barely read or write past the 10th grade level. However, they carried a football like the ‘Midnight Express’ and hit like a freight train. At my university, I attended several classes, (Anatomy 316) with many of the football and basketball players, only to watch them attend the first and last class. They received ‘A’s’ but never studied. As a resident assistant (staff), I watched them play cards in the grill most nights.

“If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” – Abraham Lincoln
As Election Day rapidly approaches, many Americans are wondering why so many of their countrymen reject a genuine war hero with decades of experience, one whose pro-life, limited-government values pretty much reflect those of Middle America. Instead, these same countrymen are enthralled with a man who not only has no experience or qualifications for the job, but who is, in fact, the most radically left-wing major-party presidential candidate of our lifetime, having been mentored and supported for decades by terrorists (Ayers), communists (Davis), America-hating racists (Wright) and criminals (Rezko).
Doesn’t make much sense, does it?
After all, in past presidential contests, Americans have flatly rejected ultraliberal candidates like McGovern, Mondale and Dukakis – and those guys weren’t nearly as radicalized as Obama, who the nonpartisan National Journal rates as having the most left-wing voting record in the entire U.S. Senate – even more so than socialist Bernie Sanders! Moreover, recently it’s been proven, despite his campaign’s denials, that Obama was indeed a member of the socialist “New Party.” And Obama himself confesses that during his college days he intentionally sought out Marxists as friends.
So, how do we explain all this? Why are so many of us eager to turn our nation, the greatest and noblest on earth, over to an angry-at-America, hardcore left-wing “change agent” who will – with the help of a like-minded, Democrat-dominated Congress and a liberal-activist federal judiciary – bring about radical “change” to every area of our lives? Just consider:

Yes, sir, yes, sir, Three bags full:
One for the master and one for the dame,
And none for the little boy who lives down the lane.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matt 7:15
America is about to be fleeced. The sheep are being prepared for a shearing. A wolf is at the door and the hirelings have sold out the flock.
Barack Obama could not be elected without the church…especially the black church. The “ministers” in those black congregations are complicit in the destruction of this nation.
They have trained their sheep to grovel at the teat of government.
Popular theory has it that over ninety percent of black Americans will vote for Obama. If that is not racist, I don’t know what is. Is there any other “voting block” as monolithic as the blacks?

While the disgraced mainstream media continues to ignore the constitutional crisis regarding Obama’s birth certificate, we the people will not be deterred from getting the truth.
Over the two weeks I have received thousands of emails (which I cannot respond to one on one) from enraged Americans over Judge R. Barclay Surrick’s decision in Berg v. Obama, et al (see here). Americans are energized and faxed their state officials demanding Obama’s eligibility for ballot qualification be investigated. The responses from these elected public servants all provided basically the same response, here are just two:
“While the Secretary of State certifies candidates for the ballot, each political party is legally responsible for choosing the candidate they wish to place on the ballot.” Sincerely, Legislative and Constituent Affairs Secretary of State (California)
“The Florida Department of State does not have investigative or enforcement authority to ensure that major parties candidates are properly qualified to be President of the United States. The U.S. Constitution establishes the qualifying requirements for President. Under Florida law, the way in which a major party’s candidate is placed on the ballot is that the state executive committee of each political party submits its slate of presidential electors for its candidate before September 1st of each presidential election year; then, by law, the names of candidates are printed on the ballot. Those candidates are not required to provide any documents to the State that they meet the qualifications for office.

In spite of the fact that the presidential election is only a week away, some Americans are continuing their quest for access to Senator Barack Obama’s original birth certificate supposedly on file in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he and his campaign claim he was born.
So far efforts to achieve the obviously simple goal of viewing a presidential candidate’s birth records are being met with one roadblock after another. Making it even more suspicious is the fact that the vast majority of the mainstream news media are avoiding the issue of Obama’s birth certificate as if it were the plague.
Except for some radio talk show hosts, conservative bloggers and a few TV newspeople, the mainstream media — always willing to carry the water for the liberal-left — are purposely ignoring the simple fact that Obama and his camp are stonewalling efforts to prove or disprove his being born a citizen, according to political strategists such as New Jersey’s Mike Baker.

Want to hash my hard drive? Come back with a warrant
Federal agents seeking to generate MD5 hashes from files on a suspect’s hard drive must now obtain a warrant before doing so, says a Pennsylvania U.S. District Court, as such an act constitutes a government search protected by the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution.
The case in question, United States v.Robert Crist, involves accusations of child pornography and a warrantless search conducted against the defendant’s hard drive. In the case, a federal agent generated an MD5 hash – a unique numeric signature of a file – of every file and then compared them to a national child pornography database.

We can’t see his records from prep school, Occidental College, Columbia University or Harvard. What was his thesis? Who paid for his education at Harvard, since there is no record of student loans? There are even questions concerning where he was born. This is a fundamental and critical question. Was he born in Hawaii or Kenya? Did he become an Indonesian citizen? If so, he would have had to give up his U.S. citizenship. Was he then naturalized as a U.S. citizen when he returned to Hawaii from Indonesia? The documentation needs to be made public now. Certainly, security clearance requirements will require that the original documents be produced.

In 2001, Barack Obama said he saw aspects of Nazi Germany in American society and government.
He also said the U.S. Constitution was fundamentally flawed.
And that he was disappointed that the Supreme Court had not ordered federally administered financial equality as part of the civil rights movement.
He also called for a political coalition to be formed that would force “redistributive” policies on the American people – using the power of government to equalize wealth across the society.
In 2008, that political coalition is about to take power.
It’s called Obama ‘08.

In a radio interview in 2001, then-Illinois State Sen. Barack Obama noted — somewhat ruefully — that the same Supreme Court that ordered political and educational equality in the 1960s and 1970s did not bring about economic equality as well. Although Mr. Obama said he could come up with arguments for the constitutionality of such action, the plain meaning of the Constitution quite obviously prohibits it.

I don’t know when it happened, but somewhere along the way Americans were persuaded that getting a loan to purchase things they didn’t have money for was a good thing. The definition of “afford” somehow went from being able to pay for it in full at the time of purchase, to being able to make payments on it month to month.
Apparently someone convinced us that waiting was not an option – that patience, sacrifice and self-restraint was for fools.
I suppose being raised by conservative parents who refused to live lavishly on borrowed money had a significant impact on me growing up. In fact, I didn’t bother to ask them for any as an adolescent because I knew it was a waste of time.

Prior to October 14, 2008 few people outside of Holland, Ohio (and most of those living there) had ever heard of Joe Wurzelbacher. Today, if the Springfield, Ohio native could be inserted into the race for Ohio’s 9th US congressional seat, which is held by Marcy Kaptur, Wurzelbacher would give the 13th term Toledo congresswoman a run for her money. Kaptur, who has held her seat since 1982, will easily defeat her current Republican rival, steelworker and US Navy veteran Bradley Leavitt. If GOP presidential candidate Sen. As I write, little more than a week remains before E-Day, on which most Americans will vote. Nerves are being fearfully wracked. Even people who are usually somnolent say they can’t take the stress. There is a real danger that, unaddressed, the frustration of choosing between a Communist illegal alien raised by a Communist sex pervert and a POW traitor who is a Soviet front man could lead to an epidemic of Acid Reflux Disease or even an outbreak of Restless Leg Syndrome.
The purpose of this modest piece is to reassure you. Stop tormenting yourself. Further self-flagellation is pointless. Your next President has already been selected. Didn’t you know? Sure, go ahead and vote if you like, if you have nothing else to do, if you don’t mind standing in long lines between Obamatron morons and McCrud zombies, but enjoy the reassurance of knowing that the powers above Ponzi Paulson and Helicopter Ben Bernanke and Co. have already made their choice.

America is facing potentially the gravest constitutional crisis in her history. Barack Obama must either stand up in a public forum and prove, with conclusive documentary evidence, that he is “a natural born Citizen” of the United States who has not renounced his American citizenship—or he must step down as the Democratic Party’s candidate for President of the United States—preferably before the election is held, and in any event before the Electoral College meets. Because, pursuant to the Constitution, only “a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of th[e] Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President” (Article II, Section 1, Clause 4). And Obama clearly was not “a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of th[e] Constitution.”

Arrogance rides triumphantly through the gates, barely glancing at the old woman about to cut the rope and spring shut the trap. –Mason Cooley
Notwithstanding the sage admonition of Yogi Berra, “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over…” Democratic presidential wannabe Senator Barack Obama has increasingly been adopting the assumptive close and acting like his ordination is a foregone conclusion.
I remain the consistent contrarian and maintain it is possible (even probable) that Obama will still lose for a variety of reasons already addressed here previously.
However, a recent snit over a tough interview of Joe Biden resulted in the Obama/Biden camp canceling a scheduled interview with Mrs. Biden AND canceling a media buy on WFTV-Channel 9 in Orlando. Apparently WFTV had to be punished for asking difficult questions of the gaffemaster Biden.

In one of the few tough media interviews of the Democratic ticket, veteran WFTV-Channel 9 (Orlando, Florida) anchor-reporter Barbara West grilled Joe Biden about Barack Obama’s “Marxist” views on the economy. West, who compared Obama’s “spread the wealth around” comment to the ideology of Karl Marx, should be congratulated for bringing one of the key issues to the forefront of the campaign. Needless to say, the Obama-Biden campaign is outraged that a reporter had the audacity to even mention any of this.
The point was that Obama is a socialist. Biden called the accusation “ridiculous.”
The problem for the Republican ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin is that their fellow Republican, President George W. Bush, may do more damage to American-style capitalism during his last months in office than Obama could ever do in a four-year term as president.

Longtime Ars readers know that I’ve had my own problems in the “Constitution-free zone” that exists in US airports, but an aggressive new ACLU campaign highlights a fact of which I was previously unaware: the Constitution-free zone that exists a US borders and airports actually extends 100 air miles inland and encompasses two-thirds of the country’s population. The US Border Patrol can set up checkpoints anywhere in this region and question citizens.
The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution contains a border-related exception to unreasonable search and seizure laws, permitting searches at border checkpoints that wouldn’t be permitted elsewhere. But federal statute 8 CFR 287.1 (a)(1-3) defines the border zone for enforcement purposes as encompassing an area within 100 miles of the actual border, with the possibility of extending it further under certain circumstances. This means that the US Border Patrol could conceivably set up random checkpoints asking travelers for a passport in places like Columbus, Ohio; Houston; or anywhere in the state of Florida. And, in fact, it appears that it has been doing exactly this.

“October Surprise”:
Preparing for “Something Unexpected”?
By Dr. Judith H. Young
October 27, 2008 — Global Research, October 26, 2008 — At a news conference on October 22, 2008, U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barak Obama was asked about a comment by his Vice Presidential running mate Joe Biden that Obama could expect to be tested within six months of the new presidential term by a “generated” international crisis that will force him to make unpopular decisions. Obama said the Delaware senator has occasionally engaged in “rhetorical flourishes,” but the essential point was that the new President could expect to be challenged no matter who wins.

Barack Obama’s home-stretch mantra: John McCain “voted with President Bush over 90% of the time,” thus McCain simply is more of the same. Probably.

Judge Surrick “Received” the Decision He Issued
In the “never-ending” drama that is known as the 2008 Presidential election, there is an appearance that the decision issued yesterday by the Honorable Judge R. Barclay Surrick in the matter of Berg v. Obama might have been SENT to the judge just a short time BEFORE he released the decision.
A fax copy of the decision from Judge Surrick was faxed to Mr. Berg from the Judge’s Chambers, pages 1-36, beginning at 18:09 October 24, 2008, and that is clearly notated by the receiving fax, starting at page 01/36. Page 36/36 is marked 18:16 October 24, 2008. What is interesting is not at the TOP of the fax pages; it is at the bottom. From Judge Surrick’s ruling

10/25/08 – Berg vs Obama Court Ruling might be a Rumor! I just read this over at Country First blog a few minutes ago. Then I checked a couple of other blogs. No one is real sure what is going on. They are working to try and find out if the court ruled or not. This is quite interesting turn of events.
Quote: URGENT EVERYONE READ!!
I spoke to Phil Berg’s assistant around 9:30 this morning and she had gone to Pacer to try and download the documents and there were NO documents there. They are trying to find out what is going on and where this reporter got his information. As soon as I know whether it is true, or a rumor I will let you know.

Why McCain Won
Snatching Defeat From The Jaws Of Victory: How That Scenario Could (But Likely Won’t) Play Out.
Jonathan Alter
NEWSWEEK
From the magazine issue dated Nov 3, 2008
The conventional wisdom, which I share, is that Barack Obama will win this election, perhaps by a healthy margin. But Democrats are nervous wrecks; they’re having nightmares that defeat will be snatched from the jaws of victory. To add to their misery (and guard against complacency), here’s how that horror film could play out:
In the end, the problem was the LIVs. That’s short for “low-information voters,”
the three fifths of the electorate that shows up once every four years to vote for president but mostly hates politics. These are the 75 million folks who didn’t vote in the primaries. They don’t read newsmagazines or newspapers, don’t watch any cable news and don’t cast their ballots early. Their allegiance to a candidate is as easily shed as a T shirt. Several million moved to Obama through September and October; they’d heard he handled himself well in the debates. Then, in the last week, the LIVs swung back to the default choice: John McCain. Some had good reasons other than the color of Obama’s skin to desert him; many more did not. In October, a study by the Associated Press estimated that Obama’s race would cost him 6 percent. The percentage was smaller, but still enough to give the presidency to McCain.

Many of you (thousands?) have written me saying he was not born in the USA ( a Constitutional requirement for President) …. the rumors are flying around the internet and overloading my inbox and is viral. However, since the emails just won’t stop…and since it really is a topic that should be put to rest and can be done with such ease, I now think Senator Obama should release his birth certificate but I also think, to be fair, so should the other 3….yes, all 4.

Forgotten candidates for US president may still impact race
1 hour ago
WASHINGTON (AFP) — Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama have captured the limelight in the race for the US presidency, but they are not the only ones running: 12 forgotten candidates are also chasing the keys to the White House.
Without the million-dollar war chests or national organizations to compete with the major parties, none of the other hopefuls have a chance of victory on election day, November 4.
But still, the libertarian candidate Bob Barr, independent Ralph Nader and, to a lesser extent, Chuck Baldwin’s Constitution Party and Green candidate Cynthia McKinney, could have a significant impact on the hopes of McCain or Obama, who remain locked in tight races in key battleground states.

The hurricane as weapon
The history of hurricanes in the Bush years shows an imbalance similar to earthquake numbers. In the National Hurricane Center’s list of “30 Costliest U.S. Hurricanes,” Bush has six in the top ten (seven with Ike), his father two. Bush the younger outranks everyone. Not including 2008, he had 10 of the top 30, costing $148.9 billion, $100 billion of this in 2005. Second was his father, with $46.9 billion in three hurricanes — in only one term. Early estimates for Gustav don’t compare with Ike’s, which make Ike a contender for third place as estimates approach $20 billion. The 10 presidential eras include the entire list of “30 costliest” (below, in millions adjusted to the 2000 dollar). Numbers in italics are fatalities in the “30 deadliest.”
Another coincidence accompanying HAARP’s new power was Katrina. Hurricanes went wild in 2005. Katrina’s tracking map (http://flhurricane.com/googlemap.php?2005s12) looks like the work of an energetic four-year-old with a box of crayons and no parent. The unprecedented turmoil of 2005 was followed in 2006 by the spaced, graceful lines of a spectacularly peaceful season, thought to show the result of a HAARP “heat shield” over the continental U.S. so that all storms bent back into the Atlantic. One guess at the coincidence was that Republican incumbents in the 2006 Congressional elections could otherwise suffer negative media blowback from Katrina, still a tortuous issue at that time.

I sense a tremendous DEMORALIZATION hanging over
the heads of the good guys out there. It is a
real demoralization. It is a demoralization
resulting from a realization that “nothing

reality of our experience in the last 20 years.
“Nothing works” because the effective strategies

been ignored. I have been promoting these
“missing ingredient” strategies for 20 years -

strategies are all detailed in the video on the

“Millions of Americans know the vote was manipulated during the primaries, whether by voter registration, cheating or electronic machines and scanners. Back on October 13, 2008, I asked the question: how did a loser like McCain end up winning the primaries? My guess is vote fraud aside, the shadow government saw the polls and the trend out in America towards the original list of candidates. Mobster money man, Rudy Julie Annie, would never get enough votes to win primaries; Flip Romney would not make the final line because he is Mormon; there is great friction between Christian denominations and Mormons. Brother Huckabee’s appeal was too limited. Congressman Ron Paul had to be stopped and he was. The list goes on. What was left was a phony war hero who would be acceptable up against the despised Marxists, Clinton and Obama.“

My last column on Gov. Sarah Palin, drew some very angry email. People seemed to miss the point of my spoof, accusing me of being “green with envy.” Palin has nothing I need or want. While I appreciate all the emails were free of the usual profanity, not a single emailer disputed the facts in my column. I didn’t make up Palin’s words, they came out of her mouth. Judging by the speed with which I received this backlash, it tells me none of them read the Alaska budget link, the 263-page Trooper gate report or links to Palin’s short and uneventful resume. As Douglas Herman, an Alaskan, said in his superb piece which I linked: “Your victory for the governor ship, Sarah, was due less to your brilliant accomplishments—since you had none—then to Murks’ blundering, stupidity and nepotism.”
People strike out at me because I’m the most convenient target of their frustration. Tens of millions of Americans have their back to the wall and resent they have to go to the polls, hold their nose and vote. It is not my doing, we are all victims of a rancid, corrupt system — which I have been writing and speaking about for almost fifteen years. Millions of Americans know vote fraud is rampant and there’s no way to fix it before the ‘big day.’

DIGG THIS
Every news report, and every bit of new blather from George W. “I love free markets” Bush, reminds us of George Washington’s position, “Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
As we consider our government’s forced federal bailout/buyout of what many Americans believed were private banking, investment, insurance, and auto industries, the key word is not “government bailout,” or “nationalized” or “socialism,” or even “private.” As George Washington and his compatriots understood, the key word is “force.”
American foreign policy has long been based on force, and force alone. Forcing people out of arrangements disliked by “our government” and its friends. Forcing people into arrangements that pleased “our government” and its friends. In World War I, we joined a war just to have a place at the table, from which to force “our government’s” vision and preferences. The list goes on and on, all the way to Iraq Part Deux and Afghanistan. The central theme is not, and was never, freedom. It was, and remains, force.

Riots on Election Day?
Apparently that’s what big city police chiefs are worried about.
According to the news, big cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day and the day or two which follow it.
It seems these various law-enforcement professionals believe there is a possibility of rioting and neighborhoods being set on fire. They think it is possible that some people will respond with violence and mayhem to the outcome of the election.
Oddly, the chances of social disruption are about the same, win or lose.
The fear is that if Barack Obama loses, there might be rioting among black supporters in urban neighborhoods. The fear is that these disappointed supporters might feel that they or their candidate were robbed.
The outcome: Rioting and neighborhoods set on fire.
But that’s only half of it.

Police prepare for unrest

Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.
Public safety officials said in interviews with The Hill that the election, which will end with either the nation’s first black president or its first female vice president, demanded a stronger police presence.
Some worry that if Barack Obama loses and there is suspicion of foul play in the election, violence could ensue in cities with large black populations. Others based the need for enhanced patrols on past riots in urban areas (following professional sports events) and also on Internet rumors.

Where is Obama’s Birth Certificate and Why Doesn’t He Produce It?
Joan Swirsky
Four years ago, when I had just about completed the lengthy legal and financial vetting process required by the U.S. government to place my then-92-year-old-mother in a nursing home, I was asked to produce her birth certificate as “proof” of her citizenship. While she was born in America, had voted in every election for untold decades, and paid her taxes religiously, that wasn’t good enough to qualify my elderly mother –deaf, legally blind, and confined to a wheelchair – to be admitted to the facility I had chosen for her near my home.
Frankly, I didn’t think finding my mother’s birth certificate was possible, given the fact that she had been born in a farmhouse in Storrs, CT, along with nine of her 10 siblings, to parents who didn’t speak English. Despairing that she would never be “qualified” to receive the care she desperately needed, I set about to find the document, which I was sure had vanished in the unreliable record-keeping of 1913.

“On the morning of February 23, he saw the first U.S. flag go up on Suribachi’s peak, followed shortly thereafter by the second, larger flag, the raising of which was immortalized at 1/400th second in Rosenthal’s famous photograph. Akikusa’s descriptions up to this point correspond completely to American accounts of the event. But what followed afterward appears to contradict the official U.S. Naval version of the battle.
The following morning, as Akikusa relates in his book, “It was not the Stars & Stripes, but the Nissho-ki (Japanese Sun flag) that was waving. Even though the peak was the target of attack from every direction on the island, I thought how hard they must have fought, and tears naturally came to my eyes. The valiant fighters were defending Mt. Suribachi to the death.”

[Announcement: Did you know Alan Stang has a new radio show? Click here for details.]
Here we are, a couple of weeks before the election, and I must confess I am in awe at the staggering genius of the conspiracy for world government. The conspirators strategize not just in years, but in decades. We are looking at the culmination of a scheme that obviously was planned and set in motion many years ago, a masterful demonstration of dialectical materialism. It’s no surprise that we are losing.
The Communist Party says it abolished itself. We can be sure of that because – heh, heh – the Party says so. But the Party is merely playing possum. It is about to elect a Communist President of the United States, where the government investigated, fired, fined and jailed Communists until a few years ago; and where people used to sue if you called them a Red.
Personally, I am suffering from a classic case of Yogi Berra’s déjà vu all over again. Forty years ago, I covered the Democrat National Convention in Chicago, which the Communists attacked. There was tear gas. There was the Chicago Police Department’s “Stink Squad,” assigned to investigate the incredible, lingering stench in the lobby of the Hilton. There was the court trial of the Chicago Seven.

Barbara G. Harris, 72, looked her troops in the eye. Staring out at mohawks on one side of the room, salt-white bobs on the other, she said in her delicately firm way: “Hold your ground. You have every right to stand there, and if anyone tells you differently, tell them your rights.”
A retired teacher and longtime peace advocate, Ms. Harris was tutoring 20 new enlistees in the art of “counter-recruitment,” her personal crusade to block recruiters for the United States military from contacting New York City high school students.
She had assembled the group in her war room, a space near Union Square lent by a sympathetic organization, where plants and antiwar signs line the walls, in preparation for a blitz Thursday evening at parent-teacher conferences, where Ms. Harris and the others plan to stand on sidewalks outside school buildings armed with opt-out forms and their best sales pitches.
“You don’t have a whole lot of time — that’s the point,” Ms. Harris told the volunteers, who ranged in age from college students to the Granny Peace Brigade, a New York group of older women started in 2005 to protest the Iraq war. “Don’t be frustrated by that. They do stop.”

“Obama…. plans to double the Peace Corps’ budget by 2011 and expand AmeriCorps, USA Freedom Corps, VISTA, YouthBuild Program, and the Senior Corps. …he proposes to form a Classroom Corps, Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, Veterans Corps, Homeland Security Corps, Global Energy Corps, and a Green Jobs Corps.”[1] Obama’s Civilian National Security Force

“[A community] organizer… does not have a fixed truth — truth to him is relative and changing. … To the extent that he is free from the shackles of dogma, he can respond to the realities of the widely different situations….”[2] Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky, the Marxist “organizer” whose disciples mentored Obama

“I was shocked,” wrote one of our visitors, “when I read your first article on Obama’s service programs. “Why is this getting a free ride in the press?”
The simple answer is that Obama’s revolutionary values match those of the mainstream media and the power brokers behind it. [3] Contrary voices are ignored or ridiculed. Perceptions are swayed by suggestions and exciting images, while facts become increasingly irrelevant. And as discernment drowns in this postmodern muddle, illusion reigns — and few even care!

In exclusive, never-before-seen footage, former CIA operative E. Howard Hunt discusses his knowledge of and participation in the plot to kill Kennedy in a video testimony he gave shortly before his death. Alex Jones’ upcoming film will fully analyze the CIA-shadow government coup that occurred inside the United States 45 years ago.
Rolling Stone and a few other publications have covered Hunt’s audio confession (released in April 2007), but no one has yet seen the information the infamous White House ‘plumber’ left behind to shed light on the figures involved in the plot. Here, Howard Hunt discusses LBJ, who saw Kennedy as an ‘obstacle’ to the presidency. According to Hunt, LBJ consorted with top CIA officials Cord Meyer and William K. Harvey to carry out the plot.

Things That Are Not In the U.S. Constitution
Have you ever heard someone say, “That’s unconstitutional!” or “That’s my constitutional right!” and wondered if they were right? You might be surprised how often people get it wrong. You might also be surprised how often people get it right. Your best defense against misconception is reading and knowing your Constitution.
A lot of people presume a lot of things about the Constitution. Some are true, some are not. This page will detail some of the things that people think are in the Constitution, but are not.
One critique of this page is that it is full of nit-picks. Slavery, for example, may not be “in” the original Constitution, but it is in the original Constitution — the word may not have been there, but the concept was. This is absolutely true. But by studying the words and coming to know them intimately, we gain a better understanding of our history and how some arguments about the Constitution endure.

NEWS YOU WON’T FIND ON CNN
(Date of publication unknown)– — - Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don’t write the tax code. Congress does. You and I don’t set fiscal policy. Congress does. You and I don’t control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices – 545 human beings out of the 235 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

Usually, I do not wield some other Internet columnist’s article as a foil for one of my own pointed commentaries. But Naomi Wolf’s recent offering, “Why Barack Obama Got My Vote,” provides such a “teachable moment” in cyberspace that I cannot resist.
Most of my readers are aware that Naomi Wolf is a shining star in today’s universe of political commentary. She has warned Americans that their country is rapidly turning into a fascist state. That this observation requires no great insight is apparently beside the point where instant celebrity among the intelligentsia is concerned—but, even so, it is useful and praiseworthy. Her latest piece, however, falls disappointingly short of that mark. Wolf tells us that,
we are fools to assume that if the government makes a dramatically violent move * * * that anyone will know clearly what to do or how to implement what should be done in response. * * *

What do you think about questions concerning Obama’s birth certificate?

It’s a tempest in a teapot. Obama was born in Hawaii |

Get over it. This is last minute desperation from sore losers |

I don’t really care where Obama was born. He’s the greatest hope for America |

We’re in a global civilization. That archaic rule about U.S. birthplace should be tossed |

It’s mystifying. Why not just produce a genuine birth certificate? |

I don’t know what to make of it |

An issue over a birth certificate is the least of the reasons Obama should be disqualified |

Obama should be forced to produce his real birth certificate now! |

ACLU demands info on domestic military deployments
10/21/2008 @ 2:31 pm
Filed by Nick Juliano
Following reports that US troops will be permanently on call to work inside the United States handling “civil unrest,” “crowd control” and other functions traditionally carried out by civilian law enforcement agencies, activists are demanding to know why the Pentagon is reversing a longstanding prohibition on domestic deployment of the military.
The Department of Defense for the first time is assigning a full-time Army unit to be on call with Northern Command, which was created after Sept. 11 to facilitate military cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security in the event of another terrorist attack.

President Lincoln understood the nature of corruption in high places. He faced domestic enemies exactly like the ones we face again today. Not all the domestic enemies of his day wore Confederate Gray. The worst of them wore Union Blue. They used their victory in First American Civil War to destroy the original Republic fought and bled for by our Founders ninety years earlier. The Civil War was not fought over slavery, it was fought over State Rights, as defined in the Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution…….

Binary Property
I love you. Three powerful words. They change lives. Are they real? Unlikely. Men and women blithely utter these three words as easily as politicians promise tax cuts. Do they mean it? Odds are, no. The test below will tell you for sure.
Half of marriages end in divorce. What is a divorce, really? Besides being a legal process and a destroyer of families, it’s a biopsy on a marriage, a diagnostic evaluation of a failed union. On the alter, bride and groom pledge love as the primary component of their wedlock. As petitioner and respondent in a dissolution, which the wife initiates 70% of the time, they bicker over the loss of assets and children — not love. So, the biopsy reveals no evidence of love. What happened to it? Did it just vanish?
Unlikely. People marry for a variety of ulterior motives — money, lifestyle, loneliness, security, convenient sex, career, appearance, parental pressure, legitimate children, and Green Cards — none of which is love. In fact, in the entire history of marriage, love as a uniting force is a relatively new concept, and a weak one at that.
My contention is that love in a failed marriage or relationship was not real and never existed. To use a scientific analogy: If love is the chief component of marriage, it cannot disappear into thin air, without a trace. Think of love as having a binary property: either it exists or it doesn’t. By the same token, glass is the chief component of windows; it can’t just evaporate one day, defying all laws of physics and chemistry.
There are people who believe they’re marrying for love — but only because they don’t understand its meaning. Almost any dictionary mentions “passionate affection” in its definitions of love. But, most of us have experienced passionate affection, numerous times, with our spouses and paramours. If we’re honest, though, we’ll admit that those encounters weren’t necessarily love. So, a big problem is that, by and large, we don’t know the meaning of love. It’s a nebulous concept. Yet, we recite it, believe others who pledge it to us, and base wealth-depleting decisions on it. Total insanity.

”Reality is the beginning not the end…” –Wallace Stevens
Despite the monumental big buck sizzle of presidential campaigns, there comes a point when eventually, inevitably, form and substance must be measured.
The mainstream media and rabid left wing may be totally in the tank for Senator Barack Obama, and the youthful, charismatic young Arab-American may look and sound good, however, increasingly, his serial flip-flopping smoke and mirrors act is showing cracks.
Obama supporters will be quick to suggest such an observation is merely the dream quest wish of an Obama critic scared spitless of what the most liberal senator could do the republic partnered with a liberal supermajority and Nancy Pelosi.

The finance ministers of the G-7 countries met in Washington last weekend and many conservatives found their discussions disturbing. In one of his updates for the news media on Friday, President George W. Bush revealed his true feelings regarding “internationalism.”
“Secretary Paulson, Secretary Rice and I just had a productive discussion with finance ministers of America’s partners in the G7 — Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and Japan. I’m pleased to be with Prime Minister Junker of Luxembourg, who is the President of the Eurogroup of countries, Managing Director Strauss-Kahn of the International Monetary Fund, President Zoellick of the World Bank, Chairman Draghi of the Financial Stability Forum,” Bush said.
President Bush says he’s confident The Group of Seven nations will be able to act together to defuse the global economic crisis, but some economists aren’t enthusiastic about coupling the US economy with the economies of other nations some of which are socialist or quasi-socialist.

The State of Virginia, the military “capital” of the United States, has not voted for a Democratic Presidential candidate since it cast its electoral votes for Lyndon B. Johnson—and a continued presence in Vietnam—in 1964. According to the liberal media, suddenly Virginia is the unexpected battleground that will likely decide the Election of 2008. In 2000, Democratic nominee Al Gore, Jr. correctly predicted that the race would be decided by Florida voters. In 2004, Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry correctly predicted that race would be settled in Ohio. Earlier this month both Democratic presidential nominee Barack Hussein Obama and Virginia’s liberal Democratic governor, Tim Kaine, both opined that the Election of 2008 would be decided by Virginians. Virginia is a critical State for the far left this year because not only is there an extremist liberal running for President, former Virginia Governor Mark Warner—a liberal who supports a date-certain withdrawal from Iraq—is vying for the US Senate seat of retiring Sen. John Warner, a pro-military Republican moderate. Warner’s seat is also being sought by an equally popular former Republican Governor Jim Gilmore, who supported the surge in Iraq. The left absolutely needs Warner’s seat and its almost a certainty that the dead will rise in Virginia to vote against military-minded John Sidney McCain in the most military state in the union.

Home > Coincidence, Or ‘Weather Warfare’?
Thursday, October 16, 2008
By James Hanson
POWELL, Ohio — Weather warfare has been going on for many years, out of sight of the media and of you and me. There is so little said about it, that a statement by then Secretary of Defense William Cohen at a counterterrorism conference April 28, 1997, shows up as a flag in almost everything written on this subject:
“Others are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves… It’s real, and that’s the reason why we have to intensity our efforts.”
Earthquakes are electronic, as is the weather, an analysis developed more than a century ago by Thomas Edison’s assistant Nikolo Tesla, who set off his first earthquake in 1890. He is still the recognized genius behind HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program), a field of seven-story poles, or towers, whose antennae send out electromagnetic current to the ionosphere from a national park in Alaska, silently performing research having scientific value for agencies “including the Department of Defense.” It is a project of the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and the University of Alaska, operated by distant computers.
There is an issue between global warming environmentalists and weather warfare detectives as to the causes of unusual change in the environment. HAARP focuses an “ionospheric heater” capable of bouncing electromagnetic waves off the ionosphere to focus beams at distant spots to melt polar ice caps, vibrate tectonic plates into an earthquake or a volcano into eruption, turn a tropical storm into a hurricane (or typhoon), create a dam to block air flow to create a flood or a drought, deplete the ozone layer, or perhaps even affect the human brain.

Yet another useless, contrived, ineffectual, over processed, and sanitized presidential debate has occurred as what remains of our national wealth smolders in an ash heap on the floor of Wall Street.
Once again the topic of the ‘Fat Cat’ bailout was touched on, only briefly, to drive home the point that both ‘Senators,’ running for President, Republican and Democrat, are servants, not of the American people, but of the ‘Gods of Globalism.’ Can you feel the harmony in the air?
Once again, not one single pre-arranged and agreed upon topic was focused on the concerns of the American citizens to address our national security, porous and deadly open borders, uninspected cargo and vulnerable ports, or the invasion occurring every day on our southern border by illegal aliens from around the world, and by unchecked, unsupervised visa overstays all seeking to feed their families by taking food out of the mouths of ours.

Shortly after the Republican convention, Devvy Kidd was a guest on my program. Devvy attended the National Convention with press credentials and spent most of my hour program describing what took place in Minneapolis. She went into great detail explaining how Ron Paul delegates were tracked and robbed of their Ron Paul paraphernalia such as posters, buttons and other accessories. After my show with Devvy I received the following email from a patriotic, older U.S. citizen who attended the convention as an elected delegate. I’m withholding this person’s name for obvious reasons, but I am certain this is a factual story.

Can Joe the Plumber Turn it Around?

Can Joe Wurzelbacher, Joe the Plumber from Ohio, change the course of this campaign? Thats one question that was raised at the third presidential debate. Wurzelbacher is the man who, in a moment caught on YouTube, confronts Barack Obama on his plan to raise taxes on people like him. Obama, sotto voce, replies that he wants to spread the wealth around. In the third consecutive week in which the headlines of the financial crisis have prompted both candidates to denounce Wall Street greed, the image of those whom Obama would tax higher was suddenly not an investment banker but a plumber.

Cindy McCain lawyer invokes Obama drug use
John Dowd, Cindy McCain’s attorney, complained in a letter to New York Times editor Bill Keller earlier this month that the paper had scrutinized the GOP nominee’s wife but not investigated matters surrounding Barack Obama including his youthful drug use.
“You have not tried to find Barack Obama’s drug dealer that he wrote about in his book, Dreams of My Father,” Dowd wrote in a two-page letter sent to Keller while the paper was reporting a piece about Cindy McCain.
