    A retired Army general said today at a news conference sponsored by the Republican Party of Virginia that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama isn’t qualified to be Commander-in-Chief of the United States because he couldn’t get top secret clearance. Jerry Curry said Obama’s past association with former anti-war radical William Ayers would prevent him from getting security clearance. Curry, who is an African-American, spoke at an ethnic outreach news conference at the Bell Tower in Capitol Square.
