Until now, conservative icon Ed Anger has been silent after [1] lapsing into a coma following the election of Barack Hussein Obama. Doctors tried numerous methods to awaken the columnist, including electroshock therapy, with no success.

With his hospital room TV tuned to FOX News 24/7, Anger was eventually roused by a commercial for the new Clint Eastwood movie “Gran Torino,” in which Eastwood plays a gun-toting auto industry and Korean War veteran now living in a tough, immigrant neighborhood in Detroit. A special screening of the film was arranged for Anger as he returned home to fully recover. Below is Ed Anger’s first writing since his awakening, a review of “Gran Torino.”

My America, the America I know and love has been in a coma. For too long it has been asleep at the wheel… the wheel of a foreign-made car. It’s time to wake up and tell the rest of the world to GET OFF OUR LAWN!!!

Recently, a movie opened my eyes when I had the great honor to watch Clint Eastwood’s new film “Gran Torino.” From its title, I had hoped for an old West border-town shoot ‘em up, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be about a REAL American man taking a stand against some no good punks… punks whose freedoms he helped secure!!!

Now, I’m not one to find much sense coming out of Hollywood, but for once, those latte loving liberal lulus have pointed a gun right at the nose of the problem here with “Gran Torino.” Like those fictional terrorist teens who taunt Eastwood’s heroic character, there are real-life outlaws out there who are taunting REAL American and threatening to destroy our way of life.

Immigrants? No, I’m talking about those three stooges Rick Wagoner of GM, Alan Mulally of Ford, and Robert Nardelli of Chrysler.  What was once the great symbol of American power and pride, the American automobile, has become just a tin can on the greed garbage pile. These business school Bozos have had their heads up their tailpipe for decades while foreign invaders from countries named Toyota, Honda and Hyundai have taken over OUR neighborhood and OUR America.

WALKERSVILLE — At about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 5, as the results of the presidential election became fairly definitive, Roger Robinette decided to express symbolically how discouraged he was.

Robinette, a Walkersville resident and disabled Vietnam veteran, hoisted the American flag and a black prisoner of war flag in his front yard upside down — a signal of distress.

He said he was discouraged that President-elect Barack Obama refused to release a copy of his official birth certificate, and that he had never served in the military. (Persistent rumors that he isn’t an American citizen have dogged Obama, who posted his birth certificate on his website in June.)

Some timorous complaints are arriving about my use of such terms as “faggots” and “butt jumpers” to name faggots and butt jumpers. The complainants say they know some practitioners of that perverted persuasion who are remarkably fine people they would let baby sit their kids. And so the complainants experience discomfort when venturing into one of my articles or broadcasts.

In like fashion, other readers and listeners are acquainted with Muslims who are not psychotic mass murderers, not traitors to America who celebrated Nine Eleven, etc., but who in fact are hard-working family men supporting families loyal to our country. Those readers and listeners complain about my characterization of Islam as a rape, robbery and revolution racket.

The title of my article comes from the sermon of the Episcopal Bishop of Washington DC, John Bryson Chane, delivered on October 5, 2008, at St. Columba Church.  The bishop’s eyes were opened to Israel’s persecution of Palestinians by his recent trip to Palestine.  In his sermon he called on “politicians seeking the highest office in [our] land” to find the courage to “speak out and condemn violations of human rights and religious freedom denied to Palestinian Christians and Muslims” by the state of Israel.

He wouldn’t get away with that today, at least not in modern evangelical circles……way to judgmental. Jesus would make American-Christianity look bad.

Tina Brown, who has rich friends like Barry Diller bankrolling her activities, has launched a website heavy with liberal opinion pieces. I took a look at The Daily Beast because of the hype generated by people like Howard Kurtz, the media reporter for the Washington Post, and found a column by somebody named John Avlon. He was lecturing the Republican Party about a candidate for Republican chairman, Chip Saltsman, distributing a humorous song calling Barack Obama the “Magic Negro.” Avlon, who found this disgusting, acted like an authority on Republican Party politics. But it turns out that he once worked for Bill Clinton and is a self-described “centrist.”

American Family Association’s news editor, Ed Vitagliano, ended 2008 with a curious column at their affiliated OneNewsNow.com website titled, Praying for the new president, where he chastised WorldNetDaily.com’s founder and editor Joseph Farah for taking Pastor Rick Warren to task for accepting President-elect Barack Obama’s invitation to lead the invocation at his upcoming inauguration.

Our media have been in awe of Barack Obama’s physique, his workouts and basketball skills. But his lies about the proposed federal “stimulus” plan are what really deserve scrutiny.

Mike Allen of Politico.com quotes Republican consultant Frank Luntz as complimenting Obama for coming up with the deceptive phrase, “American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan,” to describe the largest federal spending bill in history that is mainly designed to bail out state and local governments that have already spent too much taxpayer money.

Luntz told Politico that “Obama’s team are the best linguists I’ve ever seen. Republicans aren’t in his league right now.” Those “linguists” include former reporters such as David Axelrod and Linda Douglass.

Recently, I received a complaint from a now happily departed reader. He took issue with a recent piece in which I recalled the history of our centuries-long conflict with Islam. The reader said he has no interest in history. He is only interested in “now.” Specifically, he wants to hear about the Jews, nothing else. Happily, he announced that he is no longer with us, so there is no chance that these modest comments could offend his belligerent ignorance.

Americans all across this country are expressing their doubt as to whether or not Barack Hussein Obama (or whatever his real, legal name might be) is constitutionally (legally) eligible to hold the office of President of the United States. Last month, America Online (AOL) conducted a poll that must have shocked Obots and his attorneys. The question was: Do you think there is any merit to the controversy surrounding Barack Obama’s citizenship? A whopping 52% said yes; 42% said no and 6% said not sure. Looks like O’Reilly’s flogging of the ‘tin foil’ kook aid drinkers isn’t selling so well out there. Not that the big O would dream of giving any credible coverage to the issue; he’s fair and balanced didn’t ya know?
