Here are some questions every American should ask their elected officials – especially those supporting “climate change” legislation: If it is proven that climate change is not man-made, but natural, will you be relieved and excited to know that man is off the hook? Will you now help to remove all of the draconian regulations passed during the global warming hysteria, since it was all wrong headed and harmful to the economy and our way of life?

Their answers to these questions should be very illuminating as to the true agenda they seek to impose. Is their agenda really about helping to protect the environment, or is it about creating a new social and economic order, using the environment as the excuse?

As a presidential candidate, Barack Obama deliberately and repeatedly lied to America’s 90 million gun owners across the country when he insisted that he would not try to take away anyone’s firearms, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said during a press teleconference on Friday.

CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, reacting to Thursday’s remarks by Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder that the president will seek to reinstate the ban on semi-automatic firearms, said Obama “knew he was lying to the nation because his own web site touted his plan to revive the gun ban and make it permanent.”

“We warned America that Obama’s ‘support’ for the Second Amendment was empty rhetoric,” he stated, “and now Holder’s disclosure has confirmed it. Obama was lying, and now gun rights may be dying.”

Several times on the campaign trail, Obama told voters “I’m not going to take your guns away.” He said it at rallies in Duryea, Pennsylvania and in Boise, Idaho. He also told a news conference that “Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear… I think people can take me at my word.”

“Right now,” said Gottlieb, “I wouldn’t take Obama’s word if he said it rains a lot in Seattle. Apparently, law-abiding gun owners have nothing to fear unless they own sport-utility rifles, semiautomatic shotguns, handguns and any other firearm that Obama and his anti-gun attorney general don’t like.”

“Thanks to Eric Holder, who has been far more honest than his boss about his anti-gun philosophy, it is now clear that the new president doesn’t support the Second Amendment at all,” he observed. “American gun owners should remind Democrats in Congress that the Second Amendment means what it says, especially when the president doesn’t.”

	Now that Obama’s in office, they don’t think there’s any chance of the truth preventing him from serving
	The issue has so clearly been resolved in so many people’s minds, the media can now expose the “Birthers” for the nutjobs they are
	They’re just starting to get frightened enough that they feel they have to condemn and marginalize those that question Obama
	They’re merely trying to humiliate news agencies that are covering it as a genuine concern
	It was a slow news day, and wacko conspiracies make for juicy headlines
	The issue doesn’t have any merit, but the rumors are loud enough they can’t be dismissed any longer
	They’re just trying to shake off the last of the conspiracies, so Obama can get to business fixing this country
	They’re doing it solely for ratings, as it’s a hot-button issue citizens are concerned about

The Obama phenom appears to be waning as Americans continue to see jobs hemorrhaging while Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro aka and so forth, attempts to openly shove communism down our throats while destroying free markets and jobs in the process. ‘The Great One’ has proven in a record short period of time that he’s a liar already breaking campaign promises. For those of us who live in the real world and follow these glory seekers parading as “public servants,” we have come to expect no less. The two political machines, vote fraud and millions of uninformed, under educated and partisan voters bring the worst into office. Now the chickens have come home to roost and the suffering will continue for years.

Party hacks and fanatics on both sides invent lies about their tarnished heroes because they cannot face betrayal. These are the cowards who will go to extraordinary lengths to keep morally and ethically bankrupt career politicians in office, in this case, a true communist, because they can’t face the truth that ‘The One’ might have lied to them. Never mind the disastrous path which Obama intends to take this country should he stay in office. The same blind loyalty was seen during the last election by supporters of Juan McCain, a vile individual. It didn’t matter that McCain is for full amnesty for criminals (illegal aliens), that he has taken money from terrorists or that he has been the key factor in selling out our POW/MIAs, the party faithful defended him instead of driving him out of office.

Internet giant America Online headlined its daily news coverage today with a story and polls covering the “Birthers,” a group of people it describes as “fringe conservatives convinced that Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because of supposed questions surrounding his birth status.”

The AOL coverage quotes an extensive Politico article and cites WorldNetDaily as the source for news on the United States Justice Foundation’s most recent attempt to demand Obama give legal evidence of his constitutional eligibility to serve as president.

Politico’s coverage of the questions that still linger over Obama’s birth, however, is far from kind.

“Viewed as irrelevant by the White House, and as embarrassing by much of the Republican Party,” writes Politico blogger Ben Smith, “the subculture still thrives from the conservative website WorldNetDaily, which claims that some 300,000 people have signed a petition demanding more information on Obama’s birth.”

“It is amazing that a president’s staff can have such power over major media figures without a peep being heard from….”

Back on January 29, we discussed [1] the daily strategy phone call engineered by Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for friendly TV commentators and “reporters.” Politico reported that Emanuel has a daily phone conference call with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, and CNN’s James Carville and Paul Begala. With Rush Limbaugh’s raucous CPAC address, as he termed it his “first address to the nation,” we can see at least one example of what is likely an attack strategy resulting from the Emanuel phone session with a rush to bash Rush the day after the appearance. It seems obvious that they coordinated their attack together in the Obama secret strategy session. It is amazing that a president’s staff can have such power over major media figures without a peep being heard from those that only months ago bashed former presidents over a perceived undue, even “dangerous,” control of the media.

One of the prominent and rising archbishops in the Catholic Church is warning against a “spirit of adulation” towards President Obama, who was portrayed repeatedly during his campaign with messianic images.

WND reported during the campaign on a website called Obamamessiah which still holds images portraying the president in a “transfiguration” pose, with various haloes around his head, and the cover of a book, “Barack Obama, Son of Promise, Child of Hope.”

But in a message at St. Basil’s Church in Toronto recently, Denver Archbishop Charles Chaput warned against following blindly.

Bill Clinton had the Vince Foster “murder.” George W. Bush had 9/11 Truth. And the new administration has brought with it a new culture of conspiracy: The Birthers.

Out of the gaze of the mainstream and even the conservative media is a flourishing culture of advocates, theorists and lawyers, all devoted to proving that Barack Obama isn’t eligible to be president of the United States. Viewed as irrelevant by the White House, and as embarrassing by much of the Republican Party, the subculture still thrives from the conservative website WorldNetDaily, which claims that some 300,000 people have signed a petition demanding more information on Obama’s birth, to Cullman, Alabama, where Sen. Richard Shelby took a question on the subject at a town hall meeting last week.

Their confinement to the fringe hasn’t cooled the passion of believers; the obscure New York preacher James Manning turned up at a National Press Club session in December to declare the president “the most notorious criminal in the history not just of America, but of this entire planet.”

The primary purpose of the public education system is to increase school budgets and enhance the salaries and benefits of school employees. Kids and education rank somewhere around third and fourth in the list of priorities.

A judge in one of the nation’s most brutal carjacking and murder cases has openly questioned in court whether news websites – such as those covering his trial – should be permitted to allow open and anonymous “comments” sections at the bottom of Internet-posted stories.

“I’m saying if there is a profit, there is a responsibility that goes with it,” said Criminal Court Judge Richard Baumgartner of Knox County, Tenn., to an attorney for the Knoxville News Sentinel.

“This is not the Internet. This is a site created by you in which you invite comments,” the judge stated. “This is something you control.”

Richard Hollow, the newspaper’s attorney, argued that a court-imposed policy on the “comments” sections would be an unconstitutional infringement of First Amendment free speech rights.

“What the court is asking us to do is … set up a board of censorship,” Hollow said.

A California lawsuit seeking documentation from Occidental College that could verify the nationality under which Barack Obama entered the school points out that the state formerly reviewed presidential candidates and disqualified those who were ineligible.

The arguments are raised in paperwork submitted by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, which has brought a lawsuit over Obama’s eligibility.

Defense lawyers for Obama are trying to quash the request for Occidental records, arguing that any objections to Obama’s presidential candidacy and victory should have been raised in Congress at the time of the Electoral College vote.

However, according to documentation in the lawsuit, the secretaries of state in California previously have exercised their election authority and have rejected candidates who did not qualify.
