He refers to Obama as a “long legged mack daddy, the son of a sack of white trash, Stanley Ann Dunham, a floozy, the lowest of women in Honolulu, Hawaii; and his father was a bigamist white woman chaser.”

He insists that Obama is a usurper and won’t produce his birth certificate. “Know why he doesn’t?” he rails. “He doesn’t have one!!!”

“Whose citizenship did you use when you applied to Columbia? He won’t show it. You know why? Because it says Barry Soetoro of Jakarta, Indonesia. He’s not a citizen of the United States of America!”

He says Oprah is the anti-Christ. That voter fraud is perpetrated by ACORN — “A Criminal Organization Representing Negroes”. And that yesterday was “Bad Wednesday”.

That’s become a common refrain among liberals, who hear echoes of Coughlin in Beck’s attacks on President Obama. Conservatives recoil at the charge, of course…

But some flu vaccine researchers and public health experts say the jury is still out. “If I hadn’t already had the vaccine, I’d take it,” says Robert Webster, a flu guru and vaccinemaker at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

CDC’s Daniel Jernigan says experiments with ferrets done there suggest that the current vaccine has no power against the H1N1 strain of swine flu now circulating the globe. CDC researchers took ferrets never infected with an influenza virus and injected them with this year’s vaccine, which has an H1N1 component of human, not swine, origin.

For the first time, a U.S. Supreme Court justice is offering some legal insight about the so-called Fairness Doctrine, suggesting the off-the-books policy could be declared unconstitutional if it’s revived and brought before the bench.

In written discussion on yesterday’s ruling cracking down on indecent language on television, Justice Clarence Thomas called the policy “problematic” and a “deep intrusion into the First Amendment rights of broadcasters.”

The doctrine requiring broadcasters to air opposing viewpoints on controversial issues was brought to an end in the 1980s under the direction of President Ronald Reagan’s Federal Communications Commission.

An Air Force officer who served in the Clinton White House and for two years carried the “nuclear football” briefcase of codes says it’s almost certain that the “highest levels” of the Obama administration knew about and approved this week’s stunt in which Air Force One buzzed New York City.

Retired Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson served in Clinton’s White House from 1996 to 1998 and was responsible for the president’s “emergency satchel,” the black bag of nuclear codes that accompanies the president at all times.

He wrote “Reckless Disregard” and “Dereliction of Duty” after his retirement from the military.

After careful, close study and review of reports from around the world, I have concluded that the current Swine Flu “Public Health Emergency” is a false alarm.

Even so, I believe there is a very important lesson to be gleaned from the way we all responded to this threatened global pandemic.  In fact, it may well be the real thing, but something that plays out over such a long period of time that immediate panic is grossly unwarranted.  More on this below.

America Jumps In Once It’s Safe

The American government seems to agree with me, because it ignored this burgeoning flu epidemic altogether until at least four days after other countries had reacted, placing even the United States on their “travel advisory” lists.  Only after it became clear to me that we are in no immediate danger did the US government suddenly start reacting, declaring the “Public Health Emergency,” holding congressional hearings and issuing statements right and left.
