Violent GIs Say They Engaged In Iraq Atrocities

Army unit had 10 charged in serious crimes back in US

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Soldiers from an Army unit that had 10 infantrymen accused of murder, attempted murder or manslaughter after returning to civilian life described a breakdown in discipline during their Iraq deployment in which troops murdered civilians, a newspaper reported Sunday.

Some Fort Carson, Colo.-based soldiers have had trouble adjusting to life back in the United States, saying they refused to seek help, or were belittled or punished for seeking help. Others say they were ignored by their commanders, or coped through drug and alcohol abuse before they allegedly committed crimes, The Gazette of Colorado Springs said.

The Gazette based its report on months of interviews with soldiers and their families, medical and military records, court documents and photographs.

Several soldiers said unit discipline deteriorated while in Iraq.

“Toward the end, we were so mad and tired and frustrated,” Daniel Freeman said. “You came too close — we lit you up. You didn’t stop — we ran your car over with the Bradley,” an armored fighting vehicle.

With each roadside bombing, soldiers would fire in all directions “and just light the whole area up,” said Anthony Marquez, a friend of Freeman’s in the 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment. “If anyone was around, that was their fault. We smoked ‘em.”

Taxi drivers got shot for no reason, and others were dropped off bridges after interrogations, said Marcus Mifflin, who was eventually discharged with post-traumatic stress syndrome.

No controlling legal authority in America ever checked to see if Obama was a “natural born citizen” as the Constitution requires. They took at face value Obama’s story as told in his autobiography and accepted a document he released that could never prove his eligibility.

Farah says the release of Obama’s long-form birth certificate is vitally necessary even to begin proper vetting as to his constitutional qualifications.

As WorldNetDaily.com has reported, Obama has also failed to release his school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records and his files from his years as an Illinois state legislator.

A huge simulation coordinated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has begun today with no mainstream media coverage at all.

The security exercise known as National Level Exercise 09 (NLE 09) will last for five days and will involve foreign security officials working in conjunction with the US military, as well as Federal, State, Local Tribal and Private Sector representatives.

According to a factsheet in the recesses of the FEMA website, the agency will host National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09) on July 27 through July 31, 2009:

“NLE 09 will be the first major exercise conducted by the United States government that will focus exclusively on terrorism prevention and protection, as opposed to incident response and recovery,” the factsheet states. It is designated as a Tier I National Level Exercise, or TOPOFF, which are exercises conducted annually in accordance with the National Exercise Program (NEP), “which serves as the nation’s overarching exercise program for planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating national level exercises,” according to FEMA.

There must be other persons who are not US citizens that have obtained a Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) from the State of Hawaii. I am offering a $1,000.00 reward to anyone born in the 1960s who can prove that they are not a natural born US citizen and yet they have a COLB from the State of Hawaii.

I’ve known cops who were racists and I’ve known cops who were pathologically brutal, using their authority as a way to vent their anger. There were times when I wondered how some cops ever made it through the screening process and ended up on the street with the authority of life and death in their hands.

When I became a cop in 1964, the job was very different; racism was not only tolerated, it was often nurtured by veteran and superior officers. At the tender young age of 21, I was thrust into a world that shattered my understanding of a police officer’s role in society. Having been raised by a single mother with 7 children, in a dilapidated tenement on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, I lived in the same building with blacks, Hispanics, Jews and nearly every other conceivable race and ethnic mix. National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09) will be the largest terror drill yet conducted under the Obama administration. Briefly stated, NLE 09 will place thousands of US and foreign troops across the nation, with a scripted mission to prevent a terror attack in the U.S. in the wake of a terrorist attack abroad.
