I originally published this column back in January of 2005. Since then (and especially lately), many people have called and written with requests to republish it. So, with a few minor revisions, here it is.

More than thirty years as a student of American history, constitutional government, and the Holy Bible leads me to the conviction that the two major political parties in this country (at the national level) are equally culpable in stripping America of its founding principles. In my opinion, both the Democrat and Republican parties in Washington, D.C., have zero fidelity to the U.S. Constitution and zero respect for America’s foundational precepts.

President Obama’s commitment to peace through diplomacy (surrender if necessary), is being put to that test that Joe Biden forecast about ten months ago.

However, it is not Obama’s Afghanistan war, or the mess in Pakistan, or even Kim Jong Il and his “Fireworks over the Pacific” show of shows that is tweaking our reluctant warrior in the Oval Office.

True enough, concerns about Russia, Iran, and the 5,000-year war between the Palestinians and the Jews disrupt the president’s sleep occasionally, but all pale in comparison to the individual that really chafes Barack Obama’s ultra-sensitive skin and psyche.

That would be American patriot and law and order poster boy Sheriff Joe Arpaio who said the equivalent of ‘Go to Hell!’ to Janet Napolitano and her demand that the good sheriff cease and desist in enforcing the law.

Is anyone else concerned about what apppears to be a PSYOP Campaign which is a subset of Information Operations against United States Citizens.

This concerns me because it is illegal to conduct psychological operations against a US citizen. The current administration is not using US military forces for their campaign, they are however using government representatives and feeding the US media with ultimately the same results. REF (NEA and the targeting of fox news to discredit a news outlet that government does not control). All information below is taken from Wiki and is unclassified.

Psychological operations are a subset of information operations, defined as:

Planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations, groups, and individuals. The purpose of psychological operations is to induce or reinforce foreign attitudes and behavior favorable to the originator’s objectives. Also called PSYOP.

NEW material calling for a posthumous pardon for three Australian soldiers court-martialled in controversial circumstances more than 100 years ago during the Boer War will be presented to Federal Parliament today. Though it may be the most powerful organization in the United States, few people know it even exists. But it has crept into our private lives. Even mortgage papers contain FEMA’s name in small print if the property in question is near a flood plain. FEMA was deeply involved in the Los Angeles riots [1992] and the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of the black helicopter traffic reported throughout the United States, but mainly in the West, California, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado, are flown by FEMA personnel. FEMA has been given responsibility for many new disasters including urban forest fires, home heating emergencies, refugee situations, urban riots, and emergency planning for nuclear and toxic incidents. In the West, it works in conjunction with the Sixth Army.

FEMA was created in a series of Executive Orders. A Presidential Executive Order, whether Constitutional or not, becomes law simply by its publication in the Federal Registry. Congress is by-passed. Executive Order Number 12148 created the Federal Emergency Management Agency that is to interface with the Department of Defense for civil defense planning and funding. An “emergency czar” was appointed. FEMA has only spent about 6 percent of its budget on national emergencies, the bulk of their funding has been used for the construction of secret underground facilities to assure continuity of government in case of a major emergency, foreign or domestic. Executive Order Number 12656 appointed the National Security Council as the principal body that should consider emergency powers. This allows the government to increase domestic intelligence and surveillance of U.S. citizens and would restrict the freedom of movement within the United States and grant the government the right to isolate large groups of civilians. The National Guard could be federalized to seal all borders and take control of U.S. air space and all ports of entry.

The White House escalated its offensive against Fox News on Sunday by urging other news organizations to stop “following Fox” and instead join the administration’s attempt to marginalize the channel.

White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel told CNN that President Obama does not want “the CNNs and the others in the world [to] basically be led in following Fox.”

Obama senior adviser David Axelrod went further by calling on media outlets to join the administration in declaring that Fox is “not a news organization.”

“Other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way,” Axelrod counseled ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “We’re not going to treat them that way.”

During my morning browse-fest, I am stumbling more and more over news stories in which people are charged with felonies, repeatedly tased by police or otherwise brutalized for the crime of having a bad attitude. No act of violence, no damage to property, no threat of violence is alleged; the person is arrested pure and simply for a bad attitude. In this context, the definition of bad is that the person spoke back to authority, said ‘no’ to a request or did not comply quickly enough, asked a question or tried to argue…in short, the person did not immediately and with subservience obey.

The story that caught my eye this morning comes from Politico and concerns a D.C. mover-and-shaker named David Bass and a recent flight on Continental airlines. Politico explains,

An FBI agent and a couple of flight attendants say in court documents that Bass seemed drunk on the flight, disobeying instructions from the crew, climbing over another passenger to get to the overhead luggage bin, making “mean faces” and generally “upsetting everyone in first class.” Bass says he was tired, “out of it” on allergy medication and doesn’t even know what a “mean face” is.

A retired Army officer and national defense strategist says it will be exceedingly difficult to get the Russians to go along with tougher sanctions against Iran, thanks to President Obama’s giving away of a major bargaining chip.

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (USA-Ret.), who spent much of his career working in military intelligence, is an expert on Russia. He says it is no secret that the U.S. is facing a challenge in trying to convince Russia that tougher sanctions are needed against Iran. As very few of our Congressional elected officials—Democrats AND Republicans—are taking any actions or exhibiting any desire to stop the Obama Dictatorship and We-the-People are now being completely left out of any and all legislation that directly affects us, I can only surmise that we as the Nation of the United states of America may have reached the point of no return in our rapidly forced descent into totalitarianism.

From the anti-American and anti-human recently-passed Congressional bills, I have also concluded that—as these self-same elected officials no longer care what their constituents think—our attempts to stop the insanity of government officials summarily stripping us of our own money and our Constitutionally guaranteed liberties via peaceful means may have now come to an end. They haven’t worked. In actuality, even our September 1.7 millions-person-march on Washington D.C. in opposition to ObamaCare and Cap and Tax barely elicited yawns from both the Executive and Legislative branches of government—the ones the American people elected to office in the first place. Instead, delivering yet another slap to the faces of the American people, Obama skipped town that day to be fawned over by a hand-picked crowd of his supporters in Minnesota…

TEL AVIV – President Obama’s presidential campaign focused on “making” the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was “controlled,” White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

“Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control,” said Dunn.

“One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters,” said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama’s chief campaign manager.

Looking for evidence of Obama’s past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but none remembered him.

Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me.

I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! Nobody recalls him. I’m not exaggerating, I’m not kidding.” Root adds that he was also, like Obama, “Class of ’83 political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him.

Congress is showing contempt for the American people by excluding them from the crafting of Obamacare The president promised in his campaign he’d deliver transparency, saying, “I’m going to have all the negotiations around a big table” with everybody involved. Those that can’t make it would be able to see “the negotiations televised on C-SPAN.” Too bad this isn’t happening: yet another broken Obama promise.

The media report that the only people at this negotiation are the liberal political elites, including Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) (author of the Vapor Bill), Senate Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus (D.-Mont.), Senate HELP Committee chair Chris Dodd (D.-Conn.) and Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.
