Baptist Leader: Obama ‘Very Dangerous,’ Causing ‘Severe Damage’

One of the leaders of the nation’s influential Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) tells Newsmax that President Obama is “very dangerous” in his economic policies and his foreign policy is causing “severe damage” to U.S. standing in the world.
Dr. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission and author of the book “The Divided State of America: What Liberals and Conservatives Are Missing In The God And Country Shouting Match”, told Newsmax.TV that the cultural war is heating up. Christians must remember that God is not partisan.
Who Created Major Hasan? (NY Slimes Leftard blames war on terror)

IN the case of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan and the Fort Hood massacre, the verdict has come in. The liberal news media have been found guilty — by the conservative news media — of coddling Major Hasan’s religion, Islam.
Liberals, according to the columnist Charles Krauthammer, wanted to medicalize Major Hasan’s crime — call it an act of insanity rather than of terrorism. They worked overtime, Mr. Krauthammer said on Fox News, to “avoid any implication that there was any connection between his Islamist beliefs … and his actions.” The columnist Jonah Goldberg agrees. Admit it, he wrote in The Los Angeles Times, Major Hasan is “a Muslim fanatic, motivated by other Muslim fanatics.”
SUDDEN JIHAD SYNDROME IN AMERICA: Documented cases since 911

SUDDEN JIHAD SYNDROME (SJS): Sudden Jihad Sundrome is individual or small, un-attached groups of radicalized Islamics who decide to carry out Jihad, or Holy War, against those amongst whom they live. It usually involves a single person, but may include small groups, who are radicalized in their Mosques, their readings, their conversations, or otherwise, and who then decide on their own to wage war against those whom they live amongst.
It is a very real and very dangerous occurance that a nation ignores, or tries to explain away with other politically correct or sociological explanations at their grave peril and risk. What follows are instances of SJS within the US since 9/11/2001. This list will be added to as more are discovered to have happened, or as new instances occur.

This list represents the most publicized of the SJS events in America. There are undoubtedly many more. Many of these events have been attempted to be explained away by politicians and the media as acts of insanity or mentally disturbed individuals, where the tie and link to Islamic Jihad is either not reported or ignored…and this, in many cases when the perpetrator themself indicate that this is what their attack was about, waging Jihad against America and American citizens.

Former ambassador and presidential candidate Alan Keyes blasted President Obama and his policies in a speech to a Wichita audience Saturday night.
“It looks like nothing any rational person would do if he was hoping for a positive outcome,” Keyes said.
Keyes spoke to about 200 people at the Beech Activity Center, 9710 E. Central, in support of Republican congressional candidate Jim Anderson.
Keyes criticized Obama for both his foreign and domestic policy decisions.

Obama retreat on war: The return to pre-2001 criminal law mind-set

The war on terror is over. The decision to prosecute the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, along with his al Qaeda cohorts, in federal court marks a political watershed. President Obama seeks to return America to a pre-Sept. 11, 2001, mind-set. Terrorism is to be treated – as in the 1990s – as a criminal law enforcement matter.

Glenn Beck Stakes Out a More Activist Role in Politics

Glenn Beck [...] says he wants to go beyond broadcasting his opinions and start rallying his political base — formerly known as his audience — to take action.
To do so, Mr. Beck is styling himself as a political organizer. In an interview, he said he would promote voter registration drives and sponsor a series of seven conventions across the country featuring what he described as libertarian speakers.

At the Villages in Florida, conservative media superstar Glenn Beck unveiled his hotly-anticipated “Plan” — a new direction for his program, and for America that he’d been hinting at on the air.
On Saturday, Beck told the New York Times that from now on, along with hosting his popular tv and radio shows, he “would promote voter registration drives and sponsor a series of conventions across the country featuring what he described as libertarian speakers.”
He also said he planned to publish yet another non-fiction book in August 2010. (Beck’s five previous books have all been NYT #1 bestsellers.)

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–

Alice Palmer is a Chicago based academic, activist and former friend, employer and political ally of Barack Obama.
In the mid 1990s Alice Palmer, then an Illinois State Senator, employed Obama has her chief of staff, when she attempted an ill-fated run for the US Congress.
Obama was part of Friends of Alice Palmer, alongside controversial property developer Tony Rezko and Democratic Socialists of America members Danny Davis, Betty Wilhoitte and Timuel Black-also a member of Committees of Correspondence).
Later Palmer introduced Obama as designated successor to her Illinois State Senate seat, in the living room of former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, while DSA member, former communist and long time Obama friend Quentin Young looked on.
The Palmer/Obama relationship soured after Obama refused to step down when Palmer decided she wanted her State Senate seat back, after her Congressional bid failed.

Well, it would seem that the AP is all for fair use … when it applies to them……..No matter how you slice it, the AP copied Palin’s book (without permission), distributed it (without permission) and now stands up to say it was all done under fair use……….
The Associated Press has essentially claimed there is no such thing as ‘fair use’ when it comes to quoting its articles or reprinting its headlines, but when the news organization scans an entire book, then fair use does indeed exist.

When Obama wrote a book and said he was mentored as a youth by Frank, (Frank Marshall Davis) an avowed Communist, people said it didn’t matter. When it was discovered that his grandparents, were strong Socialists, people said it didn’t matter. When he admittedly, in his book, said he chose Marxist friends and professors in college, people said it didn’t matter. When he sought the endorsement of the Marxist Party in 1996 as he ran for the Illinois Senate, people said it doesn’t matter. When he finally completed histransformation of America into a Socialist State, people finally woke up, but it was too late.
Barack Obama: the politics of hypocrisy and cynicism

It was supposed to be all about the end of politics as usual. But while President Barack Obama has been happy to bring about change while abroad by doing all he can to diminish the superpower status of the United States, at home it’s been the same old, writes Toby Harnden.
Take the case of Greg Craig, the first big figure to depart the Obama White House and the victim of the Washington equivalent of a back-alley stabbing. A respected lawyer who defended President Bill Clinton during impeachment, the former State Department official was one of the first big guns to break with the Clintons and go all in for Obama.

On local Houston radio 2 days ago a private from Ft. Hood called into the AM talk show on 950AM. Since then the host has verified just to be sure that the man was indeed an injured soldier so as not to be fooled. Anyway, the private was with some others that were not critically hurt in a ward. He called in to offer the “difference” between the visit from President Bush vs the visit from President Obama. As you stated, no one knew President Bush was coming, he just showed up. WITH NO PRESS OR CAMERAS AT ALL! The private says that he spent a lot of time visiting with EACH soldier. He said he sat on the stool at his bedside for about 5 minutes and HELD HIS HAND and spoke with him. Then he did the same with the others. He said his words were heartfelt and they had a conversation. Compared with the visit of President Obama. First off the private said was the advance team that he said made sure there was nothing on the bedside tables Obama did not want in the pictures. (like what a bible maybe?)

Many of us had no idea the Republican Party had it in them, but to devise and implement such a plan was ingenious. Think about it; party leadership acting totally inept while a charismatic young Democrat presidential candidate captures the imagination of the normally lethargic youth vote, captures the senior vote, women, and even sends a thrill up the leg of the media.
And within a few short months after attaining the presidency, he conducts himself in a manner (personally and in office) that had not only invigorated his political opponents, but has them so energized they take to the streets and even march on The Capitol (more than once). One would have to conclude Barack Hussein Obama is either the most politically clueless president ever, or… is really a stealth Republican destroying the Democrat Party from within.

Are you serious?” The reporter said, “Yes, yes, I am.” Not responding further, Ms. Pelosi shook her head and took a question from another reporter. Later on, Ms. Pelosi’s press spokesman Nadeam Elshami told CNS News about its question regarding constitutional authority mandating that individual Americans buy health insurance. “You can put this on the record. Sarah Robinson was just a teenager when World War II broke out.
She endured the Blitz, watching for fires during Luftwaffe air raids armed with a bucket of sand.
Often she would walk ten miles home from work in the blackout, with bombs falling around her.
As soon as she turned 18, she joined the Royal Navy to do her bit for the war effort.
Hers was a small part in a huge, history-making enterprise, and her contribution epitomises her generation’s sense of service and sacrifice.

My radio pal Hugh Hewitt said to me on the air the other day that Barack Obama “doesn’t know how to be president.” It was a low but effective crack, and I didn’t pay it much heed. But, after musing on it over the last week or so, it seems to me frighteningly literally true.
I don’t just mean social lapses like his latest cringe-making bow, this time to Their Imperial Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan — though that in itself is deeply weird: After the world superbower’s previous nose-to-toe prostration before the Saudi King, one assumed there’d be someone in the White House to point out tactfully that the citizen-executives of the American republic don’t bow to foreign monarchs.

In recent times, government officials have increasingly pressured banks and other lenders to lend to people whom they would not lend to otherwise.
One of the first federal government efforts to change the process of mortgage lending by private financial institutions was the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. Like many government policies or programs, it began small and grew in scope and severity over the years.
The Community Reinvestment Act directed “each appropriate federal financial supervisory agency to use its authority when examining financial institutions, to encourage such institutions to help meet the credit needs of the local communities in which they are chartered consistent with the safe and sound operation of such institutions.”

Devlin is among 30 Massachusetts relatives of victims of the Beirut attack who have been fighting for more than a decade to get compensation for what many consider the first major terrorist attack against the United States. After a federal judge ruled in 2007 that Iran was liable for $2.65 billion in damages to be shared by 150 families seeking restitution, they believed they were on the cusp of victory.

The release of Sarah Palin’s book “Going Rogue” (HarperCollins, 2009) has brought out not only the Palin bashers, but also, of course, has increased chatter about whether she will be the Republican presidential nominee in 2012.
What’s missing so far in the “professional” chatter – which ranges from the snide and petty to the more substantive about her future – is whether she or any other potential candidate has grasped what conservative newspaper editor Seth Lipsky describes so astutely as America’s “constitutional moment.”
Thanks in great part to the new, alternative and social media, people are talking and writing about the Constitution-certainly more than I’ve seen in my lifetime.
Barry Goldwater, the first movement conservative to receive the Republican nomination for president, spoke of the Constitution frequently. It was a prime basis for his candidacy in our relatively nascent movement. He helped the movement coalesce into a political force.
Ronald Reagan managed to unite the three main elements of the conservative movement – economic, social and national defense conservatives – into a governing force. He, of course, for years before his successful run for president, trumpeted the Constitution and our founding principles as the basis of limited government.

I found this article very interesting. The most notable fact is that 2.7 million Americans actually served in the Vietnam Theater of war. In the last census nearly 14 million Americans claimed they served in Vietnam .
Four out of five are lying. I wonder why.
Vietnam Facts vs Fiction
For over 30 years I..like many Vietnam veterans..seldom spoke of Vietnam , except with other veterans, when training soldiers, and in public speeches. These past five years I have joined the hundreds of thousands who believe it is high time the truth be told about the Vietnam War and the people who served there. It’s time the American people learn that the United States military did not lose the War, and that a surprisingly high number of people who claim to have served there, in fact, DID NOT.

Glenn Beck, the controversial Fox News television host, is planning on becoming more active in the populist conservative movement he spawned, according to sources familiar with his thinking.
At a rally Saturday at a massive retirement community in central Florida, Beck is planning to unveil what he has billed as a “big plan” for 2010, which is expected to involve the 9.12 Project, the group he started earlier this year and named for the day after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, when he says the nation was unified.
Gunny G: Was The Republican Party Ever The Party of Freedom?
Was it ever? Really? Some folks don’t think so.
“The embarrassing truth—the brontosaurus in the broom closet that nobody wants to talk about—is that the Republican Party was never the party of freedom. That Goldwater business in the 1960s was a fluke, immediately snuffed out by “older, wiser heads” in the GOP like those of Nelson Rockefeller, Weeping Willy Scranton, Henry Cabot Lodge, and George Romney. The Republican Party was created in the 1850s by northeastern mercantilists just like them, to crush the hopes of poor southerners for individual liberty and independence, and keep them bound in serfdom, paying 80 percent of all taxes collected in America.” ~ L. It’s easy to make fun of Glenn Beck. We’ve done it here, and Beck even does it himself (as on the November cover of his Fusion magazine).
But over the last couple of weeks, as Beck lay recuperating from appendicitis, he’s been the target of numerous satirical skewerings, from such parodists as ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘The Daily Show,’ and ‘South Park.’ Some of these barbs have gone beyond mocking his on-air antics and have gotten viciously personal. Not that we want to be the Beck-lash police, but to paraphrase a well-known Britney Spears fan, is it time to leave Glenn Beck aloooone?

A few weeks back, the new head of the National Endowment for the Arts, Rocco Landesman, said of Barack Obama, “This is the first president that actually writes his own books since Teddy Roosevelt and arguably the first to write them really well since Lincoln.”
Landesman was not alone in his praise. This month’s GQ has a faux-exhaustive article on “the untold story of the first man since Teddy Roosevelt to serve as author in chief.”
In truth, however, if Teddy Roosevelt came back to life today, he would find that he would have much more in common with Sarah Palin than Barack Obama, both as a fellow adventurer and as a fellow writer.

This Sunday the Discovery Channel is running two back-to-back documentaries — “Did the Mob Kill JFK?” and “JFK: The Ruby Connection” — exploring the role of the Mafia behind the assassination of President John F. Kennedy:
New information and never before heard details of a startling confession raise new questions on just who was behind the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the subsequent killing of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby. * * * “I had the little bastard killed. He was a thorn in my shoe” — according to a secret FBI informant these were the words of his cellmate, Carlos Marcello, the notorious New Orleans mafia boss (one of America’s most powerful mafia godfathers) confessing to his role in orchestrating the Kennedy assassination and featured in Did the Mob Kill JFK.” Almost half a century after the assassination, the informant has come forward to provide an exclusive interview that may solve one of the nation’s most enduring mysteries and re-write history. * * * Marcello, who controlled mob operations in Louisiana and Texas, had long been suspected in having a hand in the Kennedy assassination. “Did the Mob Kill JFK?” links Marcello with both Oswald and Ruby, as the godfather reveals in his confession that he brought Lee Harvey Oswald into the plot, telling the informant that “He was my man. He did what the hell I told him to do.” Marcello also admits that Dallas strip club owner Jack Ruby was deeply in debt and “owed him big.” The special draws on an array of historians, investigators and eyewitness accounts, including interviews with author Lamar Waldron and former Secret Service agent Abraham Bolden who claims an aborted attempt on the President’s life in Chicago early in November was covered up.

For the past couple of months I have worried about the risks of a failed presidency. No one should want this, regardless of party affiliation. It is harmful and dangerous to our economy and country. However, it appears obvious to me that the royal regime known as Obama has ended.
Seth Leibsohn writing in the National Review summarized it this way:
“This is reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter years – the last time the U.S. was seen as weak – unable to move and coax other countries, unable to reassure dependent allies, unable to have the respect of the world and, of course, unable to move the mullocracy of Iran.”
Even the liberal media are beginning to question the effectiveness of the President. The media, in full Camelot mode, are slow to react and often lag what the populace started to recognize months ago. Quotes like these, however, suggest they are not far behind.

The federal government has no right to regulate guns made, sold and used within Utah, state lawmakers at a committee hearing decided Wednesday.
The Legislature’s Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Interim Committee advanced a bill that its sponsor, Sen. Margaret Dayton, R-Orem, calls the “Firearms Freedom Act.” If upheld in federal courts — a big if, considering past rulings on states’ rights — Utahns purchasing Utah-made guns would not face federal requirements such as background checks.
Holder’s True Motive (KSM will put the CIA and the Bush administration on trial)

Attorney General Eric Holder adopted a tough-guy pose when he announced that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others will be tried in federal court for the most heinous terror attack on Americans in history. “After eight years of delay,” he intoned, “those allegedly responsible for the attacks of September 11 will finally face justice. It is past time to finally act.”
Where to begin? The claim that the Bush administration was somehow dilatory sets a new standard for gall, particularly coming from Eric Holder. As former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy points out, “The principal reason there were so few military trials is the tireless campaign conducted by leftist lawyers [including Holder] to derail military tribunals by challenging them in the courts.”

The Rev. James David Manning is the pastor of Atlah World Missionary Church in Harlem. He has been outspoken in his criticisms of Barack Hussein Obama’s unwillingness to prove that he is in fact eligible under the Constitution to serve as president of the United States. He has accurately described Obama’s intention to overthrow the Constitution and establish a national socialist dictatorship over the American people. He has presented scripturally based arguments aiming to show that Obama represents the evil whose emergence in human affairs Christ prophesied as one of the hallmarks of the last days. He has criticized the Congress, the Supreme Court and the media for their collusive failure to investigate the possible fraud involved in Obama’s occupation of the office of president of the United States.
Rev. Manning produces a daily video series in which he has repeatedly and consistently aired these views. Now it appears that the YouTube account through which he shared these videos with the public has been suspended on the grounds that his views are too controversial. Close on the heels of this obvious effort to limit his ability to communicate with the public, he now reports that he has been visited by federal agents who questioned him about statements he made regarding “the birth certificate issue” and his opinion that Obama is an illegal alien, not qualified to be president of the United States. As a result of this visit, Rev. Manning says that he expects to be arrested and charged with making threats against the president…
Is This T-Shirt Praying for Obama’s Assassination?

A new Biblical Obama slogan making the rounds on conservative T-shirts and bumper stickers is being interpreted as calling for the president’s death.
The slogan “Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8” seems innocent enough, but the actual verse reads: “Let his days be few; and let another take his office.”
The psalm goes on to say: “May his children be orphans, and his wife a widow.” Read the entire psalm here.

The White House has a curse upon it. It is real. It is powerful. It will not go away until a particular act takes place.
The curse came upon the White when President George W. Bush placed the Koran with great aplomb in the White House library.
Beck: Expect Senate to pass Obamacare by Christmas
Glenn Beck Show | 11/19/09

Very grim show tonight. Beck expects Senate to pass Obamacare by Christmas; bill to be “reconciled” and signed by Obama at beginning of 2010 (abortion back in, single-payer system in, Medicare rape back in). Beck’s office called all 58 Dem senators for comment. Not one called back. They are in lock-down by Reid, Obama. Beck expects “immigration reform” to pass next. 20 million new Democrat voters. Unions being taken care of by Obama — they get everything they want. Very alarming and depressing.

When we were young, we learned about the best and brightest minds in the nation coming together to create the foundation of a new country and fundamentally change the role of government in the lives of the people. Now there is a proposal to have a similar Constitutional Convention in California, but without those great minds, how are we to be sure that we get a document that rewrites the Constitution for the better and not make our state’s problems even worse?
It is important to note that according to recent article in the Ventura County Star by Timm Herdt, all of the candidates running for governor either support or are open to supporting the proposal, except for Steve Poizner. This could be a strategic move or he could really be worried about it resulting in higher taxes, but it gives Poizner the unique opportunity to distinguish himself from every candidate in the field. According to a press release from Repair California, the group organizing the proposal, 70 percent of registered Republicans, 71 percent of Democrats and 74 percent of decline to state voters support the proposal. If those numbers continue to stay that high, Poizner could end up on the wrong side of this issue.
