Is the Constitution Just a Grand Suggestion?

Listening to the morning radio program on Chicago’s WIND AM 560, I was stopped dead in my tracks. One of the hosts, John Howell, asked Chicago Tribune editorialist Clarence Page about a contentious issue; whether candidates for the office of President should have to present proof of citizenship before being allowed to vie for the office. Mr. Page’s answer was not only a slight to the Constitution; it placed him firmly in the camp of the constitutionally illiterate.

Beck to Media on White House ‘Party Crashers’: Do Your Job or Face Conspiracy Theories
Newsbusters ^ | December 2, 2009 | Jeff Poor

It’s perhaps indicative of the culture, but there has been a media obsession with the scandalous aspects of Michaele and Tareq Salahi crashing a White House State Dinner on Nov. 24.
However, the incident also demonstrated how vulnerable President Barack Obama could be to outside intruders, and that isn’t getting the lion’s share of the attention. Instead, coverage like that from NBC’s “Today” show has been about reality TV and exclusive interviews. This soft focus, argued Fox News host Glenn Beck on his Dec. 1 broadcast, could have repercussions.

Global Warming Revolt (Obama is too politically blind to follow suit)
WSJ ^ | December 2, 2009 | Staff

The global revolt keeps building against carbon cap and trade, not that you’d know it from the U.S. media. First the U.S. Senate postpones its bill, next countries meeting in Copenhagen this month can’t agree on emissions cuts, then emails among climate scientists reveal rigged peer-review, and now comes a political uprising in Australia that may doom a carbon tax down under.
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has made a sweeping cap-and-trade bill the centerpiece of his legislative agenda, and for two years his climate alarmism has gone almost unchallenged. The conservative Liberal Party, which embraced a cap-and-tax scheme before losing the 2007 election, first said it would oppose any legislation that hurt the economy.

Eisenhower 1952 Birth-Certificate Fraud Revealed

It seems that in 2009 we do not have to go far in finding the Truth. The Truth has its own way of finding us.
After discovering the true identities of “George Herbert Walker Bush, Sr.” (aka George H. Scherff, Jr.) [see "Deathbed confessions, photos support claims that George H. Scherff, Jr. was the 41st U.S. President,” Part 1 and Part 2" The Idaho Observer, April, 2007], “Senator John Sydney McCain, III” (aka John McCann, II) and “Barack Hussein Obama” (aka Barry Soetoro and Barry Rockefeller) [see "The Three Stooges go to Washington, Parts 1-7b, The Idaho Observer, May 20, 2008-July 18, 2009], it should come as no surprise that another U.S. president has been caught in several lies that warrant forensic investigation of his genealogy.

By now, most readers are familiar with the story of how a Virginia couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, crashed the White House State Dinner last Tuesday evening. President and Mrs. Obama were entertaining Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the first official State Dinner of the new administration. The Salahis were not on the invited guest list, but were still allowed to walk right into the White House. They even had face-to-face conversations with both President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Photographs of the Salahis with the President and Vice President have been published in numerous newspapers and on hundreds of web sites.

She also denounced persistent allegations that Obama is not a natural-born American citizen, saying that she is angered by the “outrageous, absurd, calculated conspiratory claim” that he was born outside the United States and is ineligible to be president. She recalled receiving a letter and photos from Obama’s father announcing his son’s birth in Hawaii.

Turning Up The Heat On Barack Obama

Leave it to Dick Cheney to teach Tareq Salahi a thing or two about how to crash a big event.
On the eve of Barack Obama’s most important address as president, Cheney managed to (temporarily) grab the spotlight when he told Politico that the commander in chief was weak and letting politics affect his military decisions….

Wednesday, December 02, 2009

A tattoo that passed muster when Kayla Bresnan was sworn into the U.S. Air Force in April might now keep her from service thanks to a rule quietly implemented last week.

Never before has a speech by President Barack Obama felt as false as his Tuesday address announcing America’s new strategy for Afghanistan. It seemed like a campaign speech combined with Bush rhetoric — and left both dreamers and realists feeling distraught.
One can hardly blame the West Point leadership. The academy commanders did their best to ensure that Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama’s speech would be well-received.
Just minutes before the president took the stage inside Eisenhower Hall, the gathered cadets were asked to respond “enthusiastically” to the speech. But it didn’t help: The soldiers’ reception was cool.

Obama in Handcuffs: International Criminal Court seeks to extend its jurisdiction
The Washington Times ^ | December 2, 2009 | Editorial
Posted on Tuesday, December 01, 2009 11:32:05 PM by Abakumov
Imagine if President Obama went to Oslo next week to receive his Nobel Peace Prize and was arrested for purported war crimes committed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan. This bit of historical irony would be possible under an argument being made by Luis Moreno-Ocampo, chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Mr. Ocampo claims jurisdiction over actions of U.S. troops in Afghanistan because Kabul in 2003 acceded to the Rome Statute, which established the court. He said a preliminary examination already is under way regarding possible American culpability in crimes against humanity.
