His loathing for McCain has a long history. “I don’t like him,” Tancredo said. “He is not a very pleasant person. He is nasty, mean; the skin of an onion would look deep compared to his. He has a short fuse, he is almost peculiarly unstable.”

So I shake his hand to thank him for doing the fundraiser.” The senator then asked if he could count on Tancredo’s support for McCain-Feingold (a bipartisan campaign reform act McCain had drafted with Democratic senator Russell Feingold). Tancredo opposed this proposed regulation of political campaign financing, and he told McCain. “So I go: ‘I am voting no, I don’t like it. I actually think it’s terrible’.”

“It was like a bomb went off in his head. He exploded! He was screaming at me! It was, ‘When I come across the f**king street, you are…’ And, ‘You don’t know what the f**k you are talking about!’ And I said, ‘What?!’ I was just so taken aback. But then I went after him: ‘Hey, nobody told me you are coming to help me for a quid pro quo for a shit bill!’ It just got worse. It was really bad, I remember us getting out of the elevator and people stepped back way up because they couldn’t handle the screaming.”

The two never reconciled. “From there, it only went downhill,” according to Tancredo.

Obama’s Unprecedented Attack Against The American People

Sher Zieve says that for the first time since the loyalists to King George III and the British army moved against the American colonists and patriots, the government is moving en masse to both stop and silence any opposition from the American people to Obama and any and all of his and his Marxist-Democrats.

While watching Thursday’s faux Obama-organized Health Care Summit (planned as a day of photo-ops and sound-bites for Obama’s 2012 campaign), it became clear to me and others that the Democrat leadership had and have no intention of listening to sound arguments against the ObamaCare Death Plan, Cap & Trade or any of the other ulterior-motive clandestine procedures they have planned against We-the-People.

Instead, Harry Reid had already announced the day before — Wednesday — that he and the Dems would affect reconciliation (the “ramming and shoving” process), probably next week, in the Senate in order to force the despotic ObamaCare Death Plan onto us.  Note: Reconciliation — incorporating a simple and not a super majority — is supposed to be used for budgetary items.

In fact, this Obama “summit” quickly degraded and devolved into Obama shutting down any Republican who offered alternate proposals and opposing comments, while Democrats engaged in ongoing “kiss the tyrant” moments.  In fact, Obama told Republicans that he could speak as long as he wanted because…”I’m the president!”  Apparently, the rest of the Democrat leadership believed the same about their own self-inflated self-importance as comment-time from the far-left was twice as long as comments from the right.  Note: That’s also “right” as in “correct.”

During Thursday’s Health Care Summit, I viewed the patently totalitarian Marxist-Democrat Party telling We-the-People that we no longer matter to them. Our voices are — once and for all per the Democrats — of no further importance.  Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Dictator-in-Chief Obama made it crystal clear that the American people WILL accept whatever draconian plans they force upon them — and like it — or else.  Each and every time the questioning and contradictions from the right to false statements made by the dictator-in-chief became too uncomfortable for his fragile ego’ or simply presented the truth in too bright a light, Obama shut down the questioner with reprimands similar to “you’re off of the subject” or “stop your talking points” or “the campaign is over and I won.”

During much of the time Representative Eric Cantor (R-VA) was quoting directly from one of the voluminous Democrat ObamaCare plans, Obama refused to make eye contact with him and, with increasingly tightly-pursed lips, started shuffling through some of the papers in front of him.  Note: This was a Judge Judy moment.  Whenever this happens on her television show, Judge Judy Sheindlin says sternly to the offender: “Put down your papers and look at me!”  Wish she’d been there.

As long as any of the Marxist-Democrat Party members are in power, their abuses of said power will continue to escalate.  This is what despots do.  When asked at the ObamaSummit if the Democrat leadership was even listening to the American people, the response was either silence or a quick change of the subject.

Not since the first American Revolution War officially began in 1775 has the oppression against We-the-People from the government been so intense and so relentless.  Now, for the first time in our history, the majority leadership within the US Government is moving against its own people with increasing alacrity, force and determination.  They have told us and continue to shout to us in myriad ways that they will refuse to listen to anything we say unless it is to thank them (our new “masters”) for placing us into bondage and slavery.

Right off the bat let me tell you about myself. My credentials – a recently retired black teacher of 40 years in the Hartford, Connecticut public school system. I was raised in a large inner city of Washington D.C. and educated in the public school system. I possess a Bachelors and Masters Degree and am a “people person” who loves teaching.

I retired this past year with great disappointment and sadness for the public school system, the individual students, teachers and parents. The current education system is failing to do the job of educating our children. There are individual successes, but for the most part the successes are very few. The educational system as a whole would be a lot better if they would only choose to do what is right for our children, but they WILL NOT. Many, many harmful changes have accrued in the 40 years that I have taught. In this post I will attempt to state these changes that I have witnessed firsthand. First of all, may I testify to you that I have personally changed.

In the first 10 years of my teaching career I was neither conservative nor patriotic, and without the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior.

Lingle sends out a boilerplate letter that says she can’t say anything. The Hawaii Attorney General’s office won’t corroborate Janice Funkino’s statement that Obama was born in Hawaii. Fukino is breaking Hawaii’s information laws which REQUIRE her to provide an uncertified copy of a vital document once the party of interest has already published it in non-redacted form (which was done by Obama). She does not provide the COHB because…it does not exist! She is also breaking Hawaii’s laws which require her to provide a basis for her public statements, which she has refused to do. Obama’s potential names are not listed on the Hawaii indexes (Obama, Soetoro, Dunham, Payne) Obama’s certificate number is impossibly ordered. =forgery So Obama has nada to support his eligibility.

Further Obama has hits against his eligibility. He admits he is ineligible as cosponsor of S.R. 511 which spells out that McCain is a natural born citizen because he was born of 2 US citizen parents on a US possession military base. He admits twice in publication that he (Obama) was born British. If we are to believe his story line since, he is STILL a British citizen to this day.

A natural born citizen has NO other citizenship ties at birth by virtue of place or parentage, than American. So Obama was never a natural born citizen (and this status cannot be granted later, either).

So what now? Technically, he cannot even “prove” he’s 35 and a resident for 14 years, let alone the higher standard of being a natural born citizen (not just a statutory US citizen, which the bots have obfuscated with for 2 years—no statutory US citizen can EVER be a natural born citizen, and vice versa). So really, there’s nothing complex about this situation. No vitals, no school records = ineligible…push the point=STILL ineligible.

Further, he acts like a madman, the 25th should kick in at the very least.

The Post & Email is reporting tonight that the Hawaii Dept. of Health has sent them a pdf file with a list of births on a computer print out. Obama’s birth is not on it.

The images of the pdf doc is available on their website.

Does anyone know if the Hawaii Birth Index includes all the different types of bc’s. Just curious.

As a 19 year-old, Barack Obama had two of his poems published in the spring 1981 edition of Occidental College’s literary magazine, Feast.

One was a silly poem called “Underground” about “ apes/ that eat figs” in underwater grottoes. A friendly critic has described it as a “vivid if obscurely symbolic description of a tribe of submarine primates.”

Although arguably the best poem about submarine primates ever written, Obama’s literary acolytes have largely–and charitably–chosen not to notice.

It is the second poem, “Pop,” that has attracted respectable press. Poet and novelist Warwick Collins has called it “by far the more powerful and complex” of the two poems, and his is the consensus opinion.

The literary faithful who have reviewed “Pop” see in it the seeds of the literary genius that would seemingly blossom in Obama’s 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father.

Those who know the limits of Obama’s talents, however, see in the poem still more evidence that Obama is not the man or the writer that the faithful think him to be.

A clear-eyed review of “Pop” addresses three basic questions: who is the “Pop” of the poem, how literal is the designation “Pop,” and who actually wrote the poem, which begins as follows:

Readers of National Review need no introduction to Theodore Dalrymple. Under that byline, or his real name of Anthony Daniels, he is a frequent contributor. There’s no one quite like him. In the wartime years of Vichy, intellectuals simply surrendered because that was the comfortable thing to do. Now they’re at it again. Europe is in a bad way, with falling birth rates everywhere, and native populations being replaced by immigrants who are mainly Muslim and often unable or unwilling to integrate.

WASHINGTON — Everyone from troops in the field to the highest brass and civilian leaders will be allowed to Twitter, blog and use Facebook and other social networking sites on the military’s non-classified computer network, the Pentagon announced Friday.

The new policy follows a seven-month review in which the Defense Department weighed the threats and benefits of allowing the wide use of emerging Internet capabilities. It essentially seeks to manage the risks while acknowledging the Internet is proving a powerful tool for a myriad of tasks including recruiting, public relations, collaboration with a wide range of people and for communications between troops and their families.

To guard security, it allows commanders to cut off access — on a temporary basis only — if that’s required to safeguard a mission or reserve bandwidth for official use. The new directive also makes practices uniform across the entire department, in which different commands previously blocked certain things while others didn’t. Visiting sites for pornography, gambling or hate-crime activities is still prohibited on military computers.

“We need to take advantage of these capabilities that are out there — this Web 2.0 phenomena,” said David M. Wennergren, deputy assistant secretary of defense for information technology. “The idea is be responsible and use these tools to help get the job done.”

The new directive means that YouTube, MySpace and more than a dozen sites blocked by the Pentagon in May 2007 will be unblocked, he said. The Pentagon said at the time that the use of video sites in particular was straining its network and using too much of its bandwidth. But Wennergren said Friday that the move failed to stem the use of bandwidth because people just went to alternate sites.

Four women, two of them well into middle age, were discussing funeral plans for a friend when an Atlanta police officer told them to move.

Three did but one asked “why.” In answer to her question, Minnie Carey, then 61, was handcuffed, put into a police wagon and taken to jail, where she was held for nine hours.

The Citizen Review Board found that Atlanta Police officer Brandy Dolson had violated APD policies and had falsely arrested Carey.

“I was blown away,” Carey told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I had heard about people in the community being harassed by the police … It really didn’t shock me as much as it probably would have if I had not heard of people going to jail for no reason. I figured I was just another one.

So you still think Islam is a “religion of peace?” Even before 9/11, I have tried my best to warn people about the false religion of Islam. Islam is a false religion dreamed up by a Mecca businessman named Muhammed 1400 years ago that has been spread from day one by hatred and death and has led the souls of those who followed its lies to the eternal flames of hell. It is the fastest growing religion in the world with nearly 2 billion people on the planet following the teachings of the Qu’ran, the book of fables Muhammed inspired that makes up the theology of this false religion. While Muslims like to claim they are a religion of love and peace, their teachings and actions over 1400 years continually prove they are about hatred and death.

Of course there will be Muslim apologists who say that these are only the extremists, just like they try to distance themselves from their brothers in this “peaceful religion” who flew the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the one intended for the Capital building that was crashed in a Pennsylvania field by some real American heroes. Do you remember a few years ago when there was a cartoon in a Dutch newspaper depicting Muhammed with a bomb in his headdress? There were riots and people were actually killed over a CARTOON! Remember a year or so ago when Pope Benedict simply shared the historical fact that Islam was spread by violence and death and the Catholic churches that were burned down and the nuns killed by Muslims protesting his statements?

Do you remember the Islamic activist group CAIR that has ties to terrorist groups and operates in this country as an “advocacy group” for Muslims, and their 4 year campaign to take the Liveprayer TV program off this air for simply having the audacity to tell the truth about their false religion? After 1,175 programs and 4 1/2 yrs on the air, the gutless executives at CBS who owned the station we had broadcast on in Tampa since March of 2003 finally caved in to the intimidation and fear of this group. Over the years they had been successful in silencing other media personalities from saying anything negative about Islam, and I am certain, emboldened by their intimidation of CBS, is now doing all they can to take radio talk show host Michael Savage off the air.

These people are not about love or peace or unity. They are about one thing. Converting the world to their false religion and those who get in their way or who refuse to follow their lies will be silenced and killed. The word “Islam” literally means “submission.” Maybe you don’t understand what it means when their “holy book” says “death to all infidels.” An “infidel” by their definition is anyone who has not converted to their false beliefs. This is their book. These are their teachings. THIS IS WHAT ALL MUSLIMS BELIEVE!

That is why I was stunned the other day when I came across an article about many high profile Christian leaders who are forming some sort of alliance with top Muslim leaders. Jim Wallis, president of Sojourners, Leith Anderson, president of the National Association of Evangelicals, Pastors Rick Warren of Saddleback and Bill Hybles of Willow Creek, and Robert E. Cooley, president emeritus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, are just a few of the prominent Christians who have signed a letter issued by the Yale Center for Faith and Culture as a response to a letter signed last month by 138 representative Muslim leaders calling on the two Abrahamic faiths to love God and neighbors together.

Sounds nice doesn’t it? These Muslim clerics are not looking for love and peace, only mainstream acceptance! The very teachings of their false religion doesn’t call for this type of peace, only the DEATH of those who refuse to convert to their lies. I know these high profile Christians can’t be that stupid, so there has to be some other motivation. Sadly, I have documented for you in the past the key leaders who sold out in the 80s to Moon’s Unification Cult to give that lie from hell mainstream acceptance. Now, we have several very high profile prominent Christian leaders getting in bed with Muslim leaders!

Don’t these people read the Bible? The Bible says MUCH about who we associate with, about avoiding being associated with the wrong people. In Numbers 33:55, God warned Israel that bad associations would be a continual thorn in their side. In Exodus 34:12 and Ezra 9:14, Israel was specifically forbidden to develop relationships with ungodly nations. You can go all throughout the Bible and read God’s warnings and what He says about the type of relationships we enter into and those we associate with. That is why these ecumenical movements that seek to bring all the false religions and faiths of the world together as one is such a damnable lie. It is so damnable, in the final days there will be a One World Religion that all will be forced to be part of.

We spend so much more than we take in because politicians at every level use the public treasury to win elections. Ask almost anyone how they did on their taxes and you’re likely to hear a happy exclamation that the taxpayer got a little money back! But ask the same person how much they paid the government over the year in withheld income and payroll taxes and you’ll often see a blank look.

When the money that government spends seems so unconnected to the money we earn it is easy for many to see government expenditures as “free money.” It’s not, but the engineered divorce in perception between the fruits of our labors and spending by elected officials has resulted in a national debt that equals more than $500,000 per American household. If not for accounting sleights-of-hand the national debt would be seen as much higher than even the shocking figure of more than $12 trillion.

Glenn Beck has failed to respond to a firestorm of reaction to his comments made during a February 21st interview with USA Weekend magazine in which he completely reversed his position on climate change by revealing that he believed in man-made global warming.

As we reported earlier this week, Beck appeared to stab his conservative audience in the back when he told USA Weekend magazine that man-made climate change was occurring in an article entitled Don’t judge Beck by his cover ^[2].

In the article, Beck tells interviewer Dennis McCafferty, “You’d be an idiot not to notice the temperature change.”

“He also says there’s a legit case that global warming has, at least in part, been caused by mankind,” writes McCafferty, under the sub headline, “He believes in global warming.”

“The blogosphere is on fire with reaction to McCafferty’s USA Weekend piece,” according to World Net Daily’s Chelsea Schilling ^[3], who pointed out that posters on the prominent conservative forum Free Republic were furious at Beck for seemingly performing a huge flip-flop on the issue.

“Seems like the rose-colored glasses are beginning to fall off those who used to view Mr. Beck with good approval?” wrote one.

In the wake of congressional Democrats’ reauthorization and extension of the USA Patriot Act, few elected Democrats have been as vocal about the post-9/11 security measures as they were during the Bush administration.

Leave it to stalwart House progressive Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) to raise a rallying cry against what he called America’s love of its fears.

“This legislation extends three problematic provisions of the PATRIOT Act and, at the same time, leaves some of the most egregious provisions in place, absent any meaningful reform and debate,” he declared in a media advisory.

The specific provisions he cited are the Patriot Act’s powers to conduct roving wiretaps, conduct surveillance of people not thought to have any association with terrorism and tap into your personal records, such as library accounts.

The extensions were approved by Congress and sent to President Obama on Thursday, several days before the Patriot Act’s most nefarious portions were set to expire. President Obama had yet to sign the bill at time of this writing.

The Associated Press called the votes ^[2] a “political victory for Republicans.”

Yesterday, I quoted ^[2] an economist with the U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee for eleven years who assisted with oversight of the Federal Reserve to show that there might be some basis for Ron Paul’s questions to Ben Bernanke about the Federal Reserve’s alleged shipment of money to Iraq.

Here is some more information.

In July 2009, Congressman Henry Waxman stated ^[3]:

In a 13 month period from May 2003 to June 2004, the Federal Reserve sent nearly $12 billion in cash, mainly in $100 bills from the United States to Iraq. To do that, the Federal Reserve Bank in New York had to pack 281 million individual bills … onto wooden pallets to be shipped to Iraq. The cash weighed more than 363 tons and was loaded onto C-130 cargo planes to be flown into Baghdad…

Leaked policy documents reveal that the United Nations plans to create a “green world order” by 2012 which will be enforced by a structure of global governance and funded by a gargantuan $45 trillion transfer of wealth from richer countries, as the globalists’ insidious plan to centralize power, crush sovereignty while devastating the economy is exposed once again.

As we warned at the time, the failure of Copenhagen in December did not spell the end of the global warming heist, but merely a roadblock in the UN’s agenda to create a world government funded by taxes paid by you on the very substance you exhale – carbon dioxide.

Using the justification of the vehemently debunked hoax that carbon dioxide is a deadly threat to the planet, the UN is already working to resurrect the failed Copenhagen agreement, with a series of new Copenhagen process negotiations set to take place in April, May and June.

J.F.K. DIED FIGHTING THE GLOBAL BANKERS

On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The Christian Law Fellowship has exhaustively researched this matter through the Federal Register and Library of Congress. We can now safely conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or superceded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still valid.

When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy – the author of Profiles in Courage -signed this Order, it returned to the federal government, specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and issue currency -money – without going through the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank. President Kennedy’s Executive Order 11110 [the full text is displayed further below] gave the Treasury Department the explicit authority: “to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury.” This means that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury’s vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation based on the silver bullion physically held there. As a result, more than $4 billion in United States Notes were brought into circulation in $2 and $5 denominations. $10 and $20 United States Notes were never circulated but were being printed by the Treasury Department when Kennedy was assassinated. It appears obvious that President Kennedy knew the Federal Reserve Notes being used as the purported legal currency were contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America.

“United States Notes” were issued as an interest-free and debt-free currency backed by silver reserves in the U.S. Treasury. We compared a “Federal Reserve Note” issued from the private central bank of the United States (the Federal Reserve Bank a/k/a Federal Reserve System), with a “United States Note” from the U.S. Treasury issued by President Kennedy’s Executive Order. They almost look alike, except one says “Federal Reserve Note” on the top while the other says “United States Note”. Also, the Federal Reserve Note has a green seal and serial number while the United States Note has a red seal and serial number.

President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 and the United States Notes he had issued were immediately taken out of circulation. Federal Reserve Notes continued to serve as the legal currency of the nation. According to the United States Secret Service, 99% of all U.S. paper “currency” circulating in 1999 are Federal Reserve Notes.

If you were having trouble understanding anti-gun people, this will not help. A high school math teacher named Doug Van Gorder wrote a letter to the Boston Globe decrying the idea of having self-defense guns in schools. In part of his letter, he shows what can surely be described as one of the most telling views into the minds of gun banners. “But as a progressive, I would sooner lay my child to rest than succumb to the belief that the use of a gun for self-defense is somehow not in itself a gun crime.”

So, he views the use of a gun for self defense as a crime, and he would rather have his child die than see a good person (assuming this applies to the police, also) use a gun to save a life.

I simply have nothing to add to that.

The radiance from the altar in the temple of God is The Christ Spirit. That Spirit is revealed for us in flesh as love, truth and life. John 14:6.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It is our absolute love of God which brings union in the Spirit of Christ. In that communion we participate in the revelation of the Christ Spirit. John 14:12.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.”

Those who love God, serve Him in the living temple of God, even the Body of Christ on earth. This divine service comes to focus in the triune exprssion of the Christ, manifest as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

There is however, on earth at this time another kingdom. That is the kingdom of hell on earth. That kingdom is ruled by the son of perdition or Satan. There is a temple of that kingdom dedicated to human sacrifice. All who serve Satan find themselves placed on that altar to die.

There is in Satan’s temple a trinity of destruction. This is revealed as Satanic worship of the anti-Christ through hate, lies and death. Those who serve Satan do so in essence through this trinity. Judas Iscariot revealed the anti-Chriat spirit. When A feast was called to celebrate the raising of Lazarus, Mary of Bethany poured a rare ointment on the feet of Jesus to honor the Lord. Judas the hypocrite used the progressive lie of serving the poor to condemn Mary and deny the annointing of Jesus.

John 12:1-7.

“Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

There they made him a super; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

Then took Mary a pound of spikenard, very costly, and annointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Mary was serving in the temple of God, while Judas served in the temple of Satan. The Judas spirit and the anti-Christ spirit are the same. Judas used the lie of progressiive humanism to justify his own service of Satan.

Obama uses this same Judas spirit of progressive humanism to justify his service of Satan and the enslavement of America to Satan’s trinity of hate, lies and death. Obama is holding and looting the bag, our treasury. Obama brings to focus the spirit of the anti-Christ through his office of president. He is as devious, deceptive and misleading as Judas. They both serve Satan and Obama is betraying America for his lord Satan and placing America on the altar of sacrifice in the temple of Satan.

At the same time there are those who love and serve God in His temple. America like Isaac is being placed upon the altar. Is it the altar of God that Abraham served, where Isaac was released in victory? Or is the altar of Judas which leads to betrayal and death?

We choose the temple in which we serve and the results follow. Let us share in the joy, blessings and victory of service in Christ. Praise God and let love, truth and life shine forth.

Now that the Hawaii Deputy Attorney General spokesperson has refused to corroborate Janice Fukino’s statement that Obama was born in Hawaii, and Fukino has refused to abide Hawaii laws in providing a non-certified duplicate of the COLB which Obama already published in non-redacted form…

we do not know where he was born.

And also, without school records, which Obama refuses to provide, and without a birth certificate, we do not know if he’s been in the country for 14 years total, or technically if he’s reached the age of 35 (verified by certified documentation).

In short, Obama has not one single shred of evidence to prove he is eligible to be president. And his twice published admission against interest that he was born British is evidence that he is INeligible.

The range of threats and dangerous contingencies we face, such as from terrorists and rogue states like North Korea and Iran, is substantially greater and more challenging than what confronts Russia, which essentially has no allies to protect. Are we on the verge of a second Civil War? I doubt it, but some curious things are starting to happen.

Tensions between Liberals and Conservatives has always been present, but since the 2008 presidential election, this deep-seeded tension seem to have been intensifying.

Several months ago, social media helped me reconnect with my childhood friend. We had been out of contact for about 15 years. Prior to this reconnection, I really didn’t have any knowledge about the Tea Party Movement (TPM or “Teabaggers” as the Left have dubbed them). I had started using Twitter shortly before all of this, but hadn’t made all of the “connections” yet.

I noticed that my friend was very passionate about his patriotism. He was calling out “true patriots” in periodic Facebook , MySpace and Twitter posts. Things started to get very strange when he began posting remarks comparing Obama with Hitler and claiming he was a Socialist. I started seeing other comments appearing in other places all around the web.

After a while, my friend and I stopped corresponding. I assume it was because I was never in agreement with a lot of his radical postings and was very clear about this fact. There was a point where I did bring up the subject of a second Civil War. He eluded to the fact that when (not if) this happened, the TPM would be at the forefront and Texas would be the first state to secede from the Union.

This brought about a fairly scary thought. What if the TPM is militarizing? If they truly saw the Obama administration as an evil power rising to choke Capitalism out of America, who could stop them? Granted, if the TPM attempted to rise against the might of the U.S. Armed forces, it would be more like a crushed riot than an actual war.

Today, I read a disturbing “tweet” that came across my Twitter feed. It contained a link to an article from biggovernment.com which appears to be a far-right conspiracy column. It was the headline that caught my attention: ” CNN, Huffington Post Urge Violence Against Republicans “. Contained within in the article is the same “Socialism Hitler” rhetoric that the TPM has been spewing from very early on. The article takes several comments out of context and the author, Kristinn Taylor appears to imply that that Obama administration somehow endorses these comments. The fact is that both the CNN and Huffington posts articles are simply begging Obama to be politically tougher on the GOP for trying to stall talks about Heath-care Reform and whatever hot-buttom policy is on the cutting board at the moment.

I said my peace in a comment and moved in, knowing full-well that the psycho-babel would continue on in the comments section (there are some truly scary posts by the way). I didn’t think much more of it, until I saw a post (again on Twitter) that Mitt Romney had been threatened on a flight out of Vancouver.

It is very clear at this moment that he was not attacked due to any government sanctioned violence, but as soon as I saw the tweet from @Breakingnews I could already hear the well-oiled conspiracy cogs of the TPM turning.

As I have mentioned in prior blogs, I am not a conspiracy theorist (although I do find many of them fascinating) and I am also not an extremist . I don’t consider myself to be far left ( although some of my family members may disagree ) and also not far right (because I do possess at least an ounce of common sense). I have always found that there is common ground in most arguments and is better to look at things down the middle.

With all of that said, I don’t really see Liberals taking a violent path against Republicans, because the message of most Liberals is that of peace and cooperation. I do, however, see potentially a misguided member or group from within the TPM or other extremist group orchestrating what would look like a Liberal attack on the far right. I can see some of the commenters from the Big Government post “connecting the dots” to the Mitt Romney article. I just hope the man who threatened Mr. Romney is not tied to any far Left groups.

My sincere hope is that these tensions can die down a bit and we can all come together as a nation and build something that we can all be proud of, and I really do believe that Obama is trying.

The actor who played the drill sergeant in “Full Metal Jacket” is coming to Washington, D.C., next week to lobby Congress to pass a long-stalled bill.

R. Lee Ermey is the national spokesman for a growing grassroots effort behind legislation sponsored by Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.) and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) that would rename the Department of the Navy as the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps.

Ermey, who was in the Marine Corps for 11 years, has been in over 100 movies, including “Apocalypse Now,” “Dead Man Walking” and “Leaving Las Vegas,” according to imdb.com.

Over the past decade, Jones has repeatedly pushed his colleagues to pass his bill. Jones’s bill has 367 co-sponsors. Roberts (R-Kan.), a Marine Corps veteran, introduced companion legislation last year.

The Marine Corps League, which is orchestrating the grassroots effort with Ermey, has started a petition-writing campaign and is bringing supporters of Jones’s legislation to Capitol Hill on Thursday.

“Marines have fought and died with their Navy brothers and sisters for more than 200 years,” said Michael Blum, Marine Corps League executive director in a statement. “It’s finally time to give the Marine Corps the recognition the branch has long deserved.”

Although the Marine Corps has been a separate service since the National Security Act of 1947, it does not get equal billing with the Navy, Air Force and Army, each of which has a Pentagon department named after it. Since the Marine Corps’s earliest days, it has operated under the Department of the Navy.
