Drunk on Our Money

You walk into a bar and see the same drunk who’s there every night lying on the floor in a pool of his reeking fluids. He raises his head and looks around at the room in general—the folks having a few beers, wines, or just Diet Pepsis, as well as the other drunks. With what little coherence he still can muster, he declares: “People drink too much. We gotta get this under control.”
Then, in fits and starts, he utters something like the following: “Yesterday I downed a whole quart of whiskey and a six-pack of brews. Today I was gonna suck in two quarts and two six packs. But I’m cuttin’ back. Today I’ll only lap up a quart and a half of whiskey and a six pack and a half of the suds! See, I cut back by a whole half a quart and half a six-pack!”
He then demands that everyone else alter their own drinking habits as well. He orders another drink and asks everyone else in the bar to pay for it since he’s spent himself broke and his credit is worthless.
Sober people would look with disgust on such a silly sot. Perhaps friends or family would also take pity on him, take away his wallet and car keys, and lock him away in a detox.

Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, outgoing Chair of the Council of Europe’s Sub-committee on Health Wolfgang Wodarg said that his panel’s investigation into the 2009 swine flu outbreak has found that the pandemic was a fake hoax manufactured by pharmaceutical companies in league with the WHO to make vast profits while endangering public health.

IMAGINE HAVING YOUR driver’s license revoked in Pennsylvania but then being able to get one in Florida – through the mail – that must then be honored here. Now imagine it happens with guns. Because it does. Pennsylvania residents who are denied a license to carry a concealed weapon, or have theirs revoked, have found a loophole that allows them to get a license from another state that must be honored here. “They could be disapproved here and they could apply in Florida and we are not notified,” said Philadelphia Police Lt. Lisa King, commander of the Gun Permit Unit…

The John B. Gordon Story
By Calvin E. Johnson Jr.
Jeremiah 6:16 of the Bible reads;
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”
But, have we forgotten God and the old paths of our Founding Fathers and Mothers? Is American history even taught anymore in public and private schools? As the world looks to America, do we know who helped make the USA free and great? President Theodore Roosevelt said of John B. Gordon, quote “A more gallant, generous, and fearless gentlemen and soldier has not been seen in this country.” unquote

What happens when the military is used in a police capacity? You get a “war on terrorism,” one in which people think that the laws of war now apply to the situation.

Tea Party Launches ‘Counter-Revolution’
Posted By Judd Berger On February 4, 2010 @ 11:02 PM In Politics | 162 Comments
The first-ever National Tea Party Convention started with a bang Thursday, as conservative firebrand Tom Tancredo used his kickoff speech to rail against “the cult of multiculturalism” and the country’s “socialist ideologue” president — and declare that the tea party movement is here to stop it.
“The race for America is on right now,” the former GOP Colorado congressman told the crowd in Nashville. “You have launched the counter-revolution.”
And so it begins. According to convention organizer Judson Phillips, the event’s 600 tickets have sold out. Tea party supporters from all across the country arrived at the Gaylord Opryland hotel Thursday for a weekend of strategy sessions, workshops and speeches.
The convention is much, much smaller than the party-sanctioned Democratic and Republican ones, but the opulence of the Opryland grounds — and the $500+ ticket price — give it the air of something more official.

A Nation in Decline
Many politicians are asking the question today: “Why are the American People so angry?” The following may lend a clue to the clueless. According to the annual “Index on Economic Freedom,” produced by the Heritage Foundation, the United States now ranks 8th, just behind Canada. That’s a drop of two full points since last year, and the largest drop of all nations in overall economic freedom………

Foreclosures are making the majority home sales
Now, we have millions of people who really are unemployed, doing 3 part time jobs, struggling to survive and keep their home for their family. If they are paying something each month to a bank and communicating, it should be a crime to foreclose on their home and at the very least, be a huge and harsh penalty to the bank or company who refuses to work with them……

Not Your Father’s Army
Most of us Americans have a deep and abiding respect and admiration for our country’s fighting men who have served–and are serving–within the US Armed Forces. We appreciate their willingness to put themselves in harm’s way for the preservation of our nation’s liberty and independence. We honor their sacrifice. Indeed, many of us share that sacrifice with the deaths, dismemberments, and paralysis of our most cherished loved ones who were killed or injured in the line of duty. It is time, however, that we awaken to the reality of what our military is becoming and where it is heading.
