As Obama admits in “Dreams,” Gramps hangs out in otherwise all-black bars and pals around with his communist soulmate and sex merchant, Frank Marshall Davis. Did a black woman – perhaps a friend of Davis’ – give birth to a child of Dunham’s? Might that explain what Obama describes as “the complicated, unspoken transaction between the two men”? Or, another possibility, was Davis the father of Ann’s baby, as he, too, matches the description of “Pop” in all salient details?

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, – A Swedish woman said she nearly fainted when animal shelter workers called to say they had found her cat after nine years. Vera Dettmann said the then-3-year-old cat, Lakrits, ran away shortly after her family moved to Stockholm in 2001 and they could find no trace of their pet during months of searching, The Local reported Friday. Dettmann said there were sightings of a cat matching Lakrits’ description in 2008, but she did not allow herself to believe the cat might still be alive. However, Dettmann received a phone call Thursday from workers at a cat refuge,…

NEOCON GUERRILLA’S IN THE MIDST: Glenn Beck’s Take-down of Debra Medina

“The most important political office is that of the private citizen”
Justice Louis D. Brandeis

Were it not clear before yesterday in the manner which Glenn Beck sandbagged and [2]set a trap [3] for surging [4] Texas gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina [5] who was rising in the polls [6] and closing in on [7] establishment insiders Rick Perry [8] and Kay Bailey Hutchinson [9], it should be clear now that Glenn Beck [2] is an inside job [10], an establishment status quo shill masquerading [11] and posing as a revolutionary. His job is to obfuscate the truth, to serve as an outlet for the supremely misguided and ill informed in America, a master manipulator [12], a minister of disinformation and propaganda telling authorized truths [13] as a card carrying member of America’s propaganda matrix [14].

The original Tea Party Movement [15] which coalesced around the candidacy of Ron Paul [16] was hijacked [17] and infiltrated [18] by Neocon’s [19] who have built a front around Republican Establishment insiders and put forth folks like Sarah Palin [20], Rick Perry et al etc. who are not Tea Party Constitutionalists [17] to distract the original goals of the movement to lead it down a path of irrational behavior which can easily be discredited [21]. You can thank Palin’s sponsor [22], William H. Kristol [23] of The Weekly Standard [24] and one of the principal co-founders of The Project for the New American Century [25] (”PNAC”) for the rise of an agent of distraction in the form of Sarah Palin [26]. While he lurks in the shadows his puppets do the work of diluting, discrediting the truly independent voices representing the heart and soul of America, voices like Debra Medina [5] who is the Tea Party candidate for Governor in Texas. Beck’s antics or so called “mad genius” [27] may have thrown a monkey wrench [28] into the candidacy of Debra Medina [5], if only because from Beck [29]operates from the confines of a more powerful platform [30] than any one candidate. Until 9/11 the McCarthy era [31] was a period of history that I understood only from history books, the History Channel [32] and Hollywood movies. It was a period of American history that seemed so unbelievable and unlikely to ever happen again, given the lessons one would assume that we would have learned from it. That is until a new McCarthyism [33] was ushered in during the Bush/Cheney [34] era and has continued [35] to this day [36] by folks like Glenn Beck [37].

Corporate Media Smears Medina For Expressing View Shared By Majority Of Americans

The attack dog corporate media, in cahoots with loathsome phony neo-con crybaby Glenn Beck, are once again attempting to manufacture reality by smearing Debra Medina for expressing a view shared by the vast majority of Americans in an effort to purge her from the Texas gubernatorial race.

Fox News blowhard Glenn Beck attempted to set up Medina on his radio show yesterday by asking her if she believed the U.S. government was involved in 9/11.

“I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard,” Medina said. “There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all the evidence there, so I have not taken a position on that.”

Medina’s response was measured and even less vehement that than six of the ten 9/11 commissioners [2], who have all gone on the record to discuss how the government lied about the official story.

Furthermore, in merely refusing to completely accept the official version of events, Medina stands firmly with the majority of Americans. An October 2006 CBS/New York Times poll [3] found that only 16% of Americans thought the government told the truth about 9/11 and the intelligence prior to the attacks. Medina is in agreement with no less than 84% of Americans who do not readily accept the official story as true.

Nothing the National Park Service (NPS) proposes ever surprises me, and neither did this latest article published in the February issue of BioScience magazine, which NPS researchers foster reintroducing wolves at many sites across the country. Dan Licht, NPS biologist for the Northern Plains Region led a team of five researchers who authored the paper published in BioScience. He is quoted by the Associated Press as saying, “If there’s lots of food, they’re happy … an intensively managed dozen, ten (wolves) — we think that is doable with today’s technology.” Licht predicts that wolves could become “stewards” in keeping game…

Scientists have identified areas of the brain that, when damaged, lead to greater spirituality. The findings hint at the roots of spiritual and religious attitudes, the researchers say. The study, published in the Feb. 11 issue of the journal Neuron, involves a personality trait called self-transcendence, which is a somewhat vague measure of spiritual feeling, thinking, and behaviors. Self-transcendence “reflects a decreased sense of self and an ability to identify one’s self as an integral part of the universe as a whole,” the researchers explain. Before and after surgery, the scientists surveyed patients who had brain tumors removed. The surveys…

The Washington Times is adding ACORN to the list of outrageous earmarks in Obama’s fiscal 2011 budget. ACORN, the embezzlement-prone, voter-registration-fraud-plagued, leftist community organizing group, is slated to receive nearly $4 billion from a taxpayer-funded slush fund. The money will come from the Community Development Block Grant, one of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s longest-running programs. The HUD Web site cryptically defines the grant’s purpose as providing “communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs,” not a reassuring description given the group’s recent past history of aiding the community through gratuitous misappropriation of…

The tyrannies that King George III perpetrated over the American colonies are what ultimately led to The Declaration of Independence, the American Revolutionary War, and the formation of The United States of America. In The Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson listed the tyrannies exercised by King George III over the American colonies. We are now faced with an administration whose actions are very similar to those tyrannies listed by Thomas Jefferson. I have made up a list of the similarities between the actions…

There is, I think, an amazing political fact right now that is hiding in plain sight and is rich with implications. It was there in President Obama’s Jan. 25, pre-State of the Union interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, who was pressing him about his political predicaments. “I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president,” he said. “And I—and I believe that.” Now this is the sort of thing presidents say, and often believe they believe, but at the end of the day they all want two terms. Anyone with a reasonable education through the 6th grade knows the correct pronunciation of the basic word “corps” is “core,” and therefore the word “corpsman” is pronounced “coreman.” The Marine Corps is pronounced Marine Core. Yet our president, who touts his education at both Columbia and Harvard, in describing a US Navy corpsman during his speech this morning, pronounced the word “corpse-man” three separate times. Originally very much a grassroots uprising against high taxes, out-of-control federal spending, and incumbents not affiliated with any political party, it drew in disaffected Republicans, many of whom had supported Ron Paul for the Republican nomination, many former Republicans who may not have supported Dr. Paul but never considered George W. She may not win the Republican Primary (this time), but she has provided a great litmus test as to who is for real as far as loving liberty and who is a fraud. One of the marks of a truly lousy leader is publicly placing blame on their subordinates. In most cases the subordinate is being blamed unfairly, and even when the staff is at fault, publicly shifting the blame reflects an unwillingness to shoulder any responsibility. President Obama has this nasty habit of placing the blame solidly on the lap of his subordinates. No, it is not 1860 again. But with all the talk of the 10th Amendment, nullification and interposition, states rights and secession — following Gov. Rick Perry’s misstatement that Texas, on entering the Union in 1845, reserved in its constitution a right to secede — one might think so. Chalk up another one for those Tea Party activists who exploded in cheers when Sister Sarah brought up the dread word in endorsing Rick Perry in the primary. I asked Debra Medina point blank if she is a 9/11 Truther. Medina’s answer was a simple and to the point, “No.” Debra Medina entered the Governor’s race as a David standing before not just Goliath, but two Goliaths: Sitting Governor Rick Perry and longtime U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Medina didn’t have a chance. Yet here she is today still tilting at windmills and facing down Goliaths. Now a new and powerful foe has come along to oppose Medina in the form of nationally known conservative talk show host Glenn Beck.

By: Mike Allen and Patrick O’Connor February 12, 2010 04:42 AM EST House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s increasingly public disagreements with President Barack Obama are a reflection of something deeper: the seething resentment some Democrats feel over what they see as cavalier treatment from a wounded White House. For months, the California lawmaker has been pushing Obama hard in private while praising him in public. But now she’s being more open in her criticism, in part because she feels the White House was wrong — in the wake of the Democrats’ loss in Massachusetts — to push the Senate health care…

IntroductionIt was the best of times, it was the worst of times… it was a fantastic time to build a new PC. Last spring, with DDR2 memory prices in the toilet and budget Micro-ATX motherboards around every corner, we showed you how to piece together a quality dual-core PC for under $550—peripherals, monitor and operating system included. Then, we took the next logical step, and for the first time in Buyers’ Guide history, we told you how to build a rig with no compromises—a fast chip, an overclockable motherboard, a 1080p LCD screen and even a gaming-quality graphics card—for just…

Friday, February 12, 2010 10:27:08 AM · by Michael van der Galien · 6+ views

The New York Times’ frontpage headline this morning is “Obama Fares Better in Poll Than G.O.P.” According to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll, more Americans blame former President George W. Bush for the bad economy than they do the current president, Barack Obama. More of those polled are upset with the Republican Party than they are with either the Democratic Party or Obama. In short, while the New York Times/CBS News poll found that 62% of respondents said that the country was headed in the wrong direction and that Obama’s own approval rating was at its lowest point…

Greetings. Sometimes a seemingly small software update can usher in a whole new world. When Microsoft shortly pushes out a Windows 7 update with the reportedly innocuous title “Update for Microsoft Windows (KB971033)” — it will be taking your Windows 7 system where it has never been before. And it may not be a place where you want to go. Imagine that you’re sitting quietly in your living-room at your PC, perhaps watching YouTube. Suddenly, a pair of big, burly guys barge into your house and demand that you let them check your computer to make sure that it’s “genuine”…

Illustrating once again that the prison planet being built around us far outstrips anything Aldous Huxley or George Orwell ever imagined, a Wired News report details how police forces worldwide are preparing to unveil drone aircraft that can not only conduct surveillance of protesters, but also zap them into submission with non-lethal weapons.

As part of their ongoing mission to “protect and serve” the new world order, cops across the world are getting access to military drones which allow them to “carry out surveillance on everyone from protesters and antisocial motorists to fly-tippers,” reports Wired News [2].

The report details how the future of policing will resemble something approaching a combination of They Live and The Running Man, with unmanned drones replacing police helicopters whizzing around everywhere torturing and knocking out anyone who misbehaves.

WASHINGTON: Some Muslim-American groups are supporting a fatwa issued by a body of Islamic scholars forbidding Muslims from going through full body scanners at airports, a media report said. The Fiqh Council of North America issued the religious ruling this week that says going through the airport scanners would violate Islamic rules on modesty, Free Press reported. “It is a violation of clear Islamic teachings that men or women be seen naked by other men and women,” reads the fatwa issued Tuesday. “Islam highly emphasises haya (modesty) and considers it part of faith. The Quran has commanded the believers, both…

Government is taking us a long way down the Road to Serfdom. That doesn’t just mean that more of us must work for the government. It means that we are changing from independent, self-responsible people into a submissive flock. The welfare state kills the creative spirit. F.A. Hayek, an Austrian economist living in Britain, wrote “The Road to Serfdom” in 1944 as a warning that central economic planning would extinguish freedom. The book was a hit. Reader’s Digest produced a condensed version that sold 5 million copies. Hayek meant that governments can’t plan economies without planning people’s lives. After all,…

Churchill was right, history is written by the victors, and no one believes that more than than President Obama, which is ironic as one of the president’s first moves was insulting our ally Great Britain, by refusing their gift of bust of Winston Churchill. The other night, our SCHMOTUS, Joe Biden, stunned audiences by claiming Iraq will go down as Obama’s greatest achievements. Obama’s opposed almost everything the the previous administration did to win the war including the Surge. Obama’s only achievement in Iraq, is keeping with the plans left by the Bush administration, including the withdrawal plan. The same…

It’s so much more civilized to just cuff them, arrest them and commit them to a mental facility! That’s what happened to a 6 year old in a Florida school! Libertas

Relax, Beck fans — Glenn isn’t going soft on Republicans, whom he diagnoses as “Suck-o-Rama.” He’s not even really complaining about the Democrats being worse, but merely noting that Barack Obama is in a Rama all by himself. Beck uses his chalkboard to do a comparison between deficits as a percentage of GDP from actual budgets during the Bush and Clinton presidencies to the White House projections for future budget deficits under the Obama plan. In fact, Beck generously attributes 2009 to Bush, even though Bush never signed that budget, and offers to disregard this year’s deficit (projected at 10.6%…

Two years ago, when the FBI was stymied by a band of armed robbers known as the “Scarecrow Bandits” that had robbed more than 20 Texas banks, it came up with a novel method of locating the thieves. FBI agents obtained logs from mobile phone companies corresponding to what their cellular towers had recorded at the time of a dozen different bank robberies in the Dallas area. The voluminous records showed that two phones had made calls around the time of all 12 heists, and that those phones belonged to men named Tony Hewitt and Corey Duffey. A jury eventually…

A Republican gubernatorial candidate said Thursday she has questions about whether the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks — a statement she swiftly backed away from and one that drew immediate criticism from her better-known rivals in the race. Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison dismissed the comments made by Debra Medina on the Glenn Beck Show that there were “some very good arguments” that the U.S. was involved in bringing down the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. “I don’t have all of the evidence there, Glenn,” Medina said. “I think some…

How Come Marc Lamont Hill can call John Mayer a “White boy” and Not Be Called a Racist for It?

Joe Klein had a great post today calling out Marc Lamont Hill on last night’s O’Reilly Factor. Those new to NewsReal Blog might be unfamiliar with our history of confronting Hill for his extreme views and for Fox and O’Reilly for putting him on as a foreign policy expert when he specializes in hip-hop culture. NewsReal Blog and Accuracy in Media were successful in getting Hill fired as a paid contributor at Fox. Never the less, he’s still featured occasionally as an unpaid commentator. One of NRB’s primary gripes with Hill is that he’s dishonest. When on Fox News

Black History Month really is the liberal democrats’ annual fundraiser to hit up guilt ridden whites for more entitlements says Lloyd Marcus, an unabashed and unhyphenated America lover. He condemns what he calls “white people and America suck month.” Marcus, a conservative patriot who sang at the 9/12 rally in D.C, so loves his cause he has brought out an American Tea Party CD featuring such great songs as “Our Wonderful Country,” “American Tea Party Anthem,” and his pro life song based on a true story, “Hello Mom It’s Me.” Marcus says every February our liberal media and many democrats…
