I must give GB his due, his passion is in the right place when it comes to instructing us exactly what is going on with the BHO admin.

He has changed, every since he got together with BOR. I hope the pressure he most likely receives from FNC,the WH hasn’t seen him fall of the wagon. I fear it’s more serious & if he doesn’t find his inner strength soon he will have a breakdown.

I am angry of his attacks on Tea Party folks who just a year ago he allied with. I am pissed he’s attacking Birther’s & accusing us of being Liberal nuts, especially considering most birther’s are conservative.

But what I won’t do is vehemently denounce him & get negative when I’m not in his shoes. I won’t judge him, but don’t mistake that with weakness, in the fact I am angry & disappointed.

The Bush Family’s Project Hammer
In 1989 President George H. W. Tom Stone: John Murtha forgot Semper Fi

In this Sept. 13, 2006, file photo, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., meets with reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington. Murtha, an influential critic of the Iraq War whose congressional career was shadowed by questions about his ethics, died Feb. 8. He was 77. (AP)

I have waited until the burial of Rep. John Murtha, D-PA, to allow an appropriate amount of time for the grieving of his family and the accolades of his accomplishments to subside before writing to put forth what is, in my opinion, a stain on his legacy that will never be cleared.

Since his death, I have heard not a word from the press or print media regarding his involvement in what had been labeled “The Hadithah Massacre.” While Murtha was clearly frustrated with the Iraq War and sought its end, his method to achieve that end was the blatant, unfounded defamation of eight young Marines involved in that incident.

His labeling of the young Marines as “cold-blooded killers,” and the officers as guilty of dereliction of duty in the reporting and investigating of the incident, without any substantive proof whatsoever, was shocking, irresponsible, and critical to the U.S. military’s obsessive pursuit of convictions of these eight young Marines.

The fear on the street is palpable. Ever since the election of Barack Obama as President of these United States in November 2008, coupled with the election of a democrat party majority in both the U.S. House and Senate, concern for the United States and personal safety has ignited like a fire in dry grass.

Sales of guns – black guns, rifles, shotguns and handguns (particularly 9mm) everywhere, have gone through the roof. AR15s have literally flown off of dealer shelves, and only now in the spring of 2009, have I seen the display samples of ARs begin to reappear on the wall of my favorite shooting emporium after the initial post election rush.

If BHO is removed from office because he is not a natural citizen, he then becomes a race martyr and Biden becomes president. Hillary probably becomes VP. How would this help conservatives in 2010 and 2012 — it would hurt us, right?

If the Lewinsky debacle had removed Clinton, Gore would have become President and cruised to his own electorial victory. This would have been a disaster.

I agree there is a puzzle here. I agree there is free speech & everyone has a right to pursue this. My question: is there some angle here that I’ve missed that makes this smart?

Well, in a way you’re looking at it from the wrong angle. It’s not a move to benefit “our side”, it’s a move to make sure the Constitution is enforced. So for that end, it matters little if Biden is in charge. Biden is constitutionally eligible to be President, so the job’s done.

As for whether this would be a step-up politically – he’s a lib, but he doesn’t pal around with terrorists and he’s not a Mudslime.

What is that end? Adherence to the Constitution.

If we don’t care about that, then we have nothing to hang any other issues on.

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” is a famous statement of Karl Marx (1818-1883), written in 1875. “From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed” was written by Henry Fairlie (1924-1990) in the 1980s. In February 2010, pilot Joseph Stack flew his plane into an Austin (TX) IRS office. Stack had written “The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed” at the end of his anti-government letter to explain his actions.

Did the Civil War truly settle the secession question?
C-Pol: Constitutionalist, Conservative Politics ^ | February 17, 2010 | Tim T.

Prior to the American Civil War, it was popularly assumed that states which had freely chosen to enter the Union could just as freely withdraw from said union at their own discretion.  Indeed, from time to time individual states or groups of states had threatened to do just that, but until 1860 no state had actually followed through on the threat.

Since then, it has been considered axiomatic that the War “settled the question” of whether or not states had the right to secede.  The central government, backed by force of arms, says the answer is No.  As long as no state or group of states tests the central government’s resolve, we can consider the question to be “settled” from a practical viewpoint.

This assertion has long troubled me from a philosophical and moral viewpoint.  We are supposedly a nation of laws, and the central government is supposedly subservient to the laws that established and empower it.

In a nation of laws, when someone asks, “Do states have a right to secede from the Union?”, a proper answer would have one of two forms:

Barack Obama was elected on November 4th 2008 and inaugurated on January 20th 2009, but his presidency really began on February 20th, 2009.

That was the day CNBC reporter Rick Santelli unleashed a tirade against the Obama administration’s housing bailout. The Santelli Rant helped give rise to the Tea Party protests and the town hall pushback against socialized medicine. And it was the first inkling of what has come to define the Obama presidency—outrage.

Outrage is nothing new in politics, but it has reached new heights in the age of Obama. Outrage is often built on justifiable and deeply felt frustration. When taken to the extreme, however, it debases our politics and leaves us all worse off.

Everyone’s been trying to find a historical parallel to President Obama. Most suggest he’s the second coming of FDR. Many believe he’s Jimmy Carter redux. Some think he’s JFK with a shorter haircut.

There’s one historical parallel that can’t be denied, though: Obama is the black Ulysses S. Grant without the beard.

I understand that’s an insult to Grant, a great war hero and a true hero of civil rights, believe it or not (his reconstruction policies were far more radical than his successors’). But Grant is most remembered for corruption in his presidency. He wasn’t totally personally corrupt, although he did appoint his own father Postmaster General of Covington, Kentucky, and allowed his dad to get several of his friends government jobs. Mostly, he was asleep at the switch, and he allowed his subordinates to hand out jobs and cash like candy to political allies.

It is relatively easy to dismiss the Obama supporters over at Daily Kos for their immediate declarations that Joe Stack, the alleged Austin kamikaze IRS bomber, was a Tea Party fanatic. Daily Kos, after all, is operated by Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, the former Reagan youth with connections to the CIA [2].

McVeigh was more than disgruntled. He was a government agent.

It is less easy to dismiss Jonathan Capehart, a blogger for the CIA’s favorite newspaper [3] and cherished Operation Mockingbird asset, The Washington Post.

“I am struck by how [Joe Stack's] alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement,” writes Capehart. A couple paragraphs later, Mr. Capehart is compares Stack to Timothy McVeigh. “McVeigh was more than disgruntled. He was murderous. And the alienation he felt from his government in 1995 still affects more than we care to admit 15 years later.”

In fact, McVeigh was more than disgruntled. He was a government agent.

I think the ”official story” is fishy. Folks who buy in to ”official stories” hook, line, and sinker as fed to them by the mainstream media (which includes Fox) will no doubt have no problem accepting what they are hearing regarding this latest incident.

However, just like 9/11 (which many refuse to look in to thanks to Glenn Beck and others who completely ostricize and mock those asking legitimate questions of the government) the ‘official story’ doesn’t mesh. I understand that if one turns a blind eye to the very real and troubling questions of 9/11, they will certainly turn a blind eye to this more minor incident. Likewise, unanswered questions remain concerning the Christmas day underwear bomber. We now know the government knowingly allowed the underwear bomber [2] to board that plane. When one looks in to all the facts surrounding these sort of incidents, you have to conclude that our government is withholding information from the American people. The question remains, why? And it seems they have an agenda that these ”crises” help them implement.

Here are those troubling questions regarding the Austin plane incident:

Gunny G: WHAT HAPPENED ON ON SURIBACHI THAT DAY…

Of the two photos above, the one of the NYC firemen raising the flag  at the site of the WTC after the 9/11 attack is now well known.

The other photo, however, is not so well known. That photo is one of the photos by Leatherneck magazine photographer, S/Sgt Lou Lowery, taken on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima on 23 February 1945, of the actual flag raising there at about 1020 on that morning.

Lowery had accompanied 1/Lt. Harold G. Schrier and his 40-man combat patrol (Easy Company, 2ndBn, 28th Marines), up the hill to raise our national colors; this was the first time in 2,000 years that a foreign flag had been raised on the Japanese homeland.

Later that same day, a larger, “replacement” flag was substituted for  the original, and was photographed at that time by Joe Rosenthal; and it was that photo that soon became famous as The Iwo Jima Flag Raising.

The WTC Flag picture, above, has recently appeared many times displayed  together with Rosenthal’s photo, but I have never seen it in combination with the genuine article by Lowery, therefore, I think that this combination of photos above is more appropriate, and each photo complements the other most fully. .

WHO RAISED THAT FLAG ON IWO JIMA?

Sixty five years ago waves and waves of eighteen and nineteen year old Marines, waded ashore Iwo Jima to defeat the Japanese and win the war in the Pacific on American terms. The United States today has slipped toward race-based socialism: That’s the true name for an overwhelming bias for one race above others, in employment, promotion, and educational opportunities. Our media are constantly stirring the witch’s brew of racial grievances, constantly making black people feel aggrieved and white people feel accused. Our schools drive that lesson home with young and innocent kids in a totally ruthless way. Repeat that for twelve years of schooling and TV, and you have a brainwashed kid.

Glenn Beck, the latest phenom of the Conservative Movement, jumps the shark nearly every week.

I have not been a fan of his. That said, I believe he is putting the movement in jeopardy.

You could spend a whole day surfing youtube for his latest outlandish behavior, but I do not fault him for that. In the entertainment industry, it is necessary to put on some sort of showmanship. I don’t personally like his brand, but I would not bicker over personal taste.

The problem I see is that he is not uplifting. He is more libertarian than conservative, but his message always seems to end up with the viewer or listener commiserating with him. As if he has accepted being the shepard and just aims to console rather than inspire.

It is not a good path for someone who commands as great an audience as he has.

John Boehner: ‘Rebellion brewing in America’

By: Andy Barr February 18, 2010 05:22 PM EST

House Minority Leader John Boehner said Thursday that there is a “political rebellion brewing in America.”

Speaking to the Conservative Political Action Conference, Boehner urged the Republican Party to listen to the tea party activists protesting in anti-tax rallies but to not too overtly court the movement toward the GOP flock.

“The Republican Party should not aim to co-opt the tea parties. I think that is the dumbest thing in the world,” the Ohio Republican said.

“I think all of you know there is a political rebellion brewing in America,” he said of the tea party movement. “While the other side is mocking tea partiers and calling them names, we’re going to work with them, listen with them and stand amongst them. … The other party will never, ever do that.”

While Boehner was careful to not count the tea parties as part of the GOP ranks, he said the energy that has propelled the movement may also make him speaker of the House.

If Republicans are able to retake the House, Boehner promised to change procedures and create a more transparent process.

The purpose of these writings is quite simple. We wanted to provide an easy to use tool in understanding Alinsky’s teachings, the tactics used by his followers, their motives, and the contrast of these to the spirit of America and her forefathers. Alinsky’s goal was revolution, just as our forefathers; but the outcome of each revolution are as different as freedom vs slavery. You can find the archives HERE.

Chapter One: The Purpose

“WHAT FOLLOWS IS for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be.”

Above is the first sentence. Where do we even start? The first thing that comes to my mind is, this guy is trying to convince fools that they can change reality. The truth is that he is trying to appeal to young fools with the notion that they can create their world Utopia and he can lead the way. It is laughable at best, but dangerous in practice.

Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it (power) away.”

Right here is the distinguishable difference between sleazy conmen and true American Patriots who sincerely care for their fellow man. Any honest man with real concern for the “Have-Nots” understands that taking power away from someone else will never cure their misery and will never lead them to a peaceful life filled with personal success and fulfillment.

Many of us are familiar with the old adage, “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.” I have a different twist. “Give a man a fish, own him for life. Teach a man to fish and he will teach others, and find success, meaning and purpose in his own life.”

I once had a very eye-opening exchange with a fervent fan and Alinsky believer. He told me that Alinsky’s teaching was about empowering the poor. “Some of these people don’t even know how to be on time to an appointment. They need to be taught to be on time. “He went on to try and tell me that the community organizing was about teaching them to have pride in themselves and their community so that maybe they would be able to get a ‘Stop’ sign put in where it may be needed.

I told him he was full of crap. If he wants to teach them to be on time and care about their community, invite them to your home for dinner; expect them to be on time, and show them that you care about them as an individual. Show them that you value them enough to invite them to your home. They must care about themselves and find value in themselves before they can offer value to their community. The last thing the community needs is people with no self-worth thrusting themselves into the system because you got them all riled up over their lack of “Haves.” His response was that I was obviously very smart and would be successful in my life in whatever I chose to do with my future. Huh? Obviously he knew I was onto the scam, exposed it, and called on him to put real power behind his words.

The real intent and purpose for Alinsky was to feed on vulnerable and angry people to create an army willing to help him take power from others in order to empower himself and justify his own miserable existence. He wanted to offer a false promise of paradise to the young and idealistic in exchange for them becoming his personal soldiers to wage war against the “Haves.”

There are two realities about our world that he cannot afford his targets know.

1) The world is not fair.

2) The world does not owe you your hearts desire simply because you exist and didn’t choose to exist in this world.

The reality of this world is that there are things you can control and things you can’t. What defines purpose and success in your life is how you handle the things you can control.

Why did Beck say that “birthers” are as dangerous as Timothy McVeigh and that only Democrats and Republican are normal but those who aren’t associating themselves with Democrats and Republicans are dangerous? Up until today, he was portraying himself as someone that thought those people were the problem.

FNC’s Glenn Beck is the cover story in USA WEEKEND magazine this week and the author, Dennis McCafferty, lists 10 items many people might not know about the host garnered from a conversation in Beck’s Manhattan office.

Among them: he has a lot of liberal friends, Britney Spears is partly responsible for his career success, he’s not happy with the GOP, Orson Welles is one of his greatest influences, he thinks he’s turning into Jabba the Hutt, and he is aware that “he can be a jerk.”

Last week, former President Clinton was rushed to the hospital in New York for an emergency heart operation. Medical experts said the procedure was “relatively routine” and predicted Clinton would make a full recovery and be back to his regular schedule soon. To the public, at least, that schedule revolves chiefly around earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. In fact, some Clinton associates cited the work in Haiti as exacerbating his heart condition. Clinton money man, Terry MacAuliffe, even noted that Clinton’s Haiti work continued right up until the operation: [1]

Tea party candidate Debra Medina on track in Texas Governor’s race
The grassroots activist and former GOP county chair, is a fast-rising star in the tea party movement, the 10th Amendment movement, and similar efforts aimed at limiting the scope of the federal government and restoring state and personal sovereignty. All of us are now aware of the Texas man who yesterday flew his private plane into a 7-story Austin office building. Apparently, he intentionally crashed his plane into the building to target the IRS offices that were housed inside the facility.

No doubt the authorities will have pulled this off the net by the time you get this email, but here it is.  This is a “suicide note” from the guy that crashed the airplane into the IRS building in Austin this morning.  Brings to mind Vin Suprynowicz’s book, “The Ballad of Carl Drega”…  Joe Stack sounds like a self-absorbed cry-baby, but he didn’t get there without some help from the government.  Just one more American who got pushed over his personal line in the sand.

If you’re reading this, you’re no doubt asking yourself, “Why did this have to happen?”  The simple truth is that it is complicated and has been coming for a long time.  The writing process, started many months ago, was intended to be therapy in the face of the looming realization that there isn’t enough therapy in the world that can fix what is really broken.  Needless to say, this rant could fill volumes with example after example if I would let it.  I find the process of writing it frustrating, tedious, and probably pointless… especially given my gross inability to gracefully articulate my thoughts in light of the storm raging in my head.  Exactly what is therapeutic about that I’m not sure, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society, only anarchy.  Sadly, starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that, in return for our dedication and service, our government stands for justice for all.  We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place, and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers.  Remember? One of these was “no taxation without representation”.  I have spent the total years of my adulthood unlearning that crap from only a few years of my childhood.  These days anyone who really stands up for that principal is promptly labeled a “crackpot”, traitor and worse.

While very few working people would say they haven’t had their fair share of taxes (as can I), in my lifetime I can say with a great degree of certainty that there has never been a politician cast a vote on any matter with the likes of me or my interests in mind.  Nor, for that matter, are they the least bit interested in me or anything I have to say.

In little more than a year of “presiding” over the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has proven that most issues he must deal with are above his pay grade. Whether it is terrorism, the economy, unemployment, Wall Street, the banks, military decisions, reactions to the Supreme Court decisions, or letting the buck stop at the desk he occupies in the Oval Office, this president has shown that leadership is an attribute sorely missing from his resume. Of course there are other items we cannot ascertain from BHO’s past either. Starting with his birth certificate, school records, association with Marxist backers,…

Sobriety checkpoints in California are increasingly turning into profitable operations for local police departments that are far more likely to seize cars from unlicensed motorists than catch drunken drivers. An investigation by the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley with California Watch has found that impounds at checkpoints in 2009 generated an estimated $40 million in towing fees and police fines – revenue that cities divide with towing firms.Additionally, police officers received about $30 million in overtime pay for the DUI crackdowns, funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety. In dozens of interviews over the past three months, law enforcement officials…

Two books arrived in recent weeks that are written from the scientific standpoint and have to do with near-death experiences. We’ll be drawing articles from them, starting with one by a researcher named Roy Abraham Varghese. As Varghese points out, in There Is Life After Death, near-death experiences cannot be explained by anesthesia, chemicals in the brain, lack of oxygen, sedatives, hallucination, or other factors skeptics have sought to use in explaining the death episodes. Even those blind from birth have been able to describe their environment once they “leave” their body! When — in trying to duplicate near-death experiences…

The Census Bureau estimates that the life cycle cost of the 2010 Census will be from $13.7 billion to $14.5 billion, making it the costliest census in the nation’s history. Suppose you suggest to a congressman that given our budget crisis, we could save some money by dispensing with the 2010 census. Amy Bishop was crouched behind a parked car, gripping a pump-action shotgun with one shell in the chamber and another in her pocket. Workers at a nearby business were yelling, “There’s a girl with a gun!’’ and running away. A police officer approached cautiously, holding his pistol behind his leg as he tried to reason with the wild-eyed 21-year-old. But Bishop would not budge. “Miss Bishop seemed frightened, disoriented, and confused, but she kept both her hands on the shotgun at all times,’’ the officer wrote in a police report. “She wouldn’t drop the gun.’’ It wasn’t until another officer…

It is designed to signal that a united and resurgent conservative movement is declaring philosophical war against the big government and moral relativism advanced by the nation’s liberal cultural, academic and political establishments. One of my favorite quotes about politics comes from Henry Kissinger in his book Years of Upheaval, his memoir of the Ford presidency: “A statesman’s duty is to bridge the gap between his vision and his nation’s experience. If his vision gets too far out ahead of his nation’s experience, he will lose his mandate. But if he hews too close to the conventional, he will lose control over events.” Now, at once, we see both happening to President Barack Obama.

Comparing 9/11 conspiracy theories to Americans who THINK the stimulus worked? I’m not exactly certain how to write the headline for this post, but in a recent New York Times/CBS News poll, only 6 percent of Americans believed the $787 billion stimulus program created any jobs. So, in comparison, how many think Sept. 11 was an inside job or involves a government cover-up?

About Chicago-style politics and violence. The left does not represent peace, love and understanding. They are not tolerant either. CNN political analyst Roland Martin and Huffington Post contributor and political satirist David Bourgeois advocated – not implied – the violent approach to governing and encouraged President Obama to get involved. If Jim Vicevich said this on the big radio show, he’d be fired. If Rush Limbaugh, said it, he’d be gone.

Sick of the “birthers” being the du jour whipping post (Beck, O’Reilly, even Palin did not defend)

You know, I’ve just about had it with Mr. ‘Due Diligence’, Mr “Research your brains out’, Glenn Beck –mercilessly going after the genuine questions about Obama’s veiled past as “lunatic”, fringe, insane–including the MIA birth certificate and the missing, contradictory and veiled Obama personal, professional and academic records.

He and O’Reilly are beginning to protest too damn much…the TRUTH of the matter is that there are LEGION of murky questions surroundiong Obama. It is conspicuously bizarre the way they are behaving about it–overdoing the “hostility”, the ridicule.

Since Beck is so quick to castigate and dismiss the so-called much maligned, “birthers”—then PROVE it is nonsense with real hard core data and info–debunk the swirl with counter-evidence–answer the gaps–let’s see one of his famous research shows on this ‘raging through the underground’ topic, eh?

Most are familiar with those commercials on television promoting prescription drugs that supposedly offer relief from a variety of ailments, if one would only pressure one’s doctor to obtain them. They have become a source of great entertainment and amusement to some, the kicker coming at the end of each commercial when the FDA-approved medication’s obligatory litany of warnings and dangerous side effects is recited: “Tell your doctor if….” and “Side effects may include…..” Some of the warnings are mild like diarrhea and constipation, some list serious effects like cancer or tuberculosis, and others admit that sometimes even death can…

OMAHA, Neb. — A former federal inmate has become a sought-after expert of Supreme Court processes. Shon Hopwood said he started accumulating his “expertise” during a prison sentence. Now, Hopwood knows both sides of the legal system better than most.

The 34-year-old works at Cockle Law Brief Printing in Omaha. His journey to this spot involved a dramatic life turnaround while in federal prison in Perkin, Ill.

Before prison, Hopwood attended Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska on a basketball scholarship.

He said he lasted about a semester before he began making bad decisions. He got kicked out of school, got involved with a different mix of people and began doing drugs.

He and several others then started robbing banks.

Google has sensationally banned all sales through its shopping merchant of a DVD critical of the Obama administration under the terms of its program policy which bars any material deemed to be “advocating against a protected group”. Apparently, Google considers the government to be a “protected group,” and immune from criticism.

Radio talk show host Alex Jones’ Google merchant account has been completely disabled after the search engine giant sent an email claiming the products listed promoted violence, and refused to link to them on the Infowars Yahoo shopping cart.

“I had our new employee Thomas try to get our products from our Yahoo Store get sent to Google shopping so people using google shopping can view our products and purchase them. We went through the steps of signing up for a Google Merchant Account and then submitted our entire product list,” writes Infowars staff member Tim Fruge.

Maybe, finally, the grating arrogance of Babs Boxer is getting on Californians’ nerves. Top of the Ticket reports: For the second straight month the three-term senator is unable to break the 50% mark against any potential Republican opponents, the historical measuring mark of vulnerability for an incumbent nine months before an election. For a Democrat in a Democrat state that gave Barack Obama 61% of its votes in 2008 (and still likes him more than many other places) to be mired in the mid-40’s is a sign of real trouble. This is especially so given the fact that disgruntled voters…

A new report indicates that the main suspect in the University of Alabama-Huntsville shooting is a ‘far-left political extremist who is obsessed with Barack Obama,’ according to family sources as quoted in the Boston Herald.

The emerging profile of the Alabama professor who allegedly shot six of her colleagues reveals that Dr. Amy Bishop, a Harvard educated neurobiologist, engaged in behavior that others considered to be ‘oddball’ and ‘awkwardly introverted’ in her relationships with colleagues, friends, and family.

A more curious fact, however, is that Bishop does not fit the common profile submitted by the mainstream media when describing disturbed individuals who go on shooting sprees.

Federal investigators caution the excessive charges could multiply once the $15 billion headcount begins in earnest next month unless the agency imposes tighter spending controls, according to excerpts of a forthcoming audit obtained by The Associated Press.

Neo-cons hype assassination attempt on President to be blamed on political “extremists”

Obama Is Being Blackmailed Into Attacking Iran 160210top

Establishment media talking points from every direction strongly indicate that a false flag attempt on President Obama’s life is being considered, to be blamed on patsies from either the “extreme” right or left, in order to silence dissent in America and blackmail Obama into launching a military assault on Iran.

Throughout the presidential campaign, the public was constantly told that Obama was an assassination target and that his safety was always in jeopardy, a claim that was given credibility after numerous odd secret service security lapses at public events where Obama really was put in danger, whether intentionally or otherwise.

This had the effect of training people to accept the inevitability of someone making an attempt on the President’s life at some point down the line.

“Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President’s Secret Service,” reported the London Telegraph [2].

The “gatecrashers” story [3] also served to increase awareness about Obama being vulnerable to attack by people who can seamlessly slip through security and get face to face with the President relatively easily.

Meanwhile, the corporate media and its operatives like Glenn Beck on the phony right-wing side and establishment liberals on the phony left were busy manufacturing ready-made patsies upon which the false flag would be blamed.

Beck forwarded 9/11 truthers as the main threat to the President’s life in a ludicrous continuation of his debunked premise that people who question the official 9/11 story are somehow terrorists themselves, despite the fact that there is not one single example of a 9/11 truther committing a crime or an act of violence in pursuit of their cause.

The most enduring images of the Great Depression from 1929 through to the beginning of World War II for America in 1941 were those of homeless people, hobo camps, and of soup kitchens to feed the hungry.

During the Reagan years, the media was filled with stories of the homeless as if to refute any improvement in the economy under a conservative president. These days, however, as America’s national debt and deficit continues to spiral out of control, the poor and the hungry remain largely unseen and, most significantly, largely unreported.

False-Flags, False Friends And False Family
By Greg Grisham
2-16-10

It was a sunny but chilly day. I don’t remember how many friends were aboard or even exactly which ones they were. None of that matters. If any of them ever read this they’ll know who they are. We were half a dozen or so, because my sailboat, really it was my Dad’s or the family’s, measured 28 feet in length and someone always got in the way at the helm. For lack of wind we were motoring southward in the Intracoastal Waterway some 30 miles north of Cape Kennedy, or Cape Canaveral as it was called before NASA took it over. 10, 9, 8 I stopped the motor.

And “We have a liftoff!” sounded over the radio. The space shuttle Challenger was away and aloft. Just another launch like so many we had seen before, over the years growing up in the middle of the space race. In the ’60s and ’70s they were the Saturn V’s on Apollo missions. In the ’80s they gave way to the reentering and reusable Space Shuttle orbiters. The Challenger rose up steadily into the clear blue sky, appearing as normal as ever, leaving behind the habitual trail of billowing white smoke that solid rocket fuel produces. We weren’t close enough to be able to actually see the orbiter vehicle itself rather its indistinguishable exhaust, visible for a hundred miles. All those aboard the Miriam, such as I, were children of workers at Kennedy Space Center. We were the “Apollo” generation and we were all very accustomed to seeing on a regular basis Saturn V and shuttle launches.

Did Robert Gibbs let the cat out of the bag?

Last week, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the world that Iran, unable to get fuel rods from the West for its U.S.-built reactor, which makes medical isotopes, had begun to enrich its own uranium to 20 percent.

From his perch in the West Wing, Gibbs scoffed:

“He (Ahmadinejad) says many things, and many of them turn out to be untrue. We do not believe they have the capability to enrich to the degree to which they now say they are enriching.”

But wait a minute. If Iran does not “have the capability” to enrich to 20 percent for fuel rods, how can Iran enrich to 90 percent for a bomb?

What was Gibbs implying?

Is he confirming reports that Iran’s centrifuges are breaking down or have been sabotaged? Is he saying that impurities, such as molybdenum, in the feed stock of Iran’s centrifuges at Natanz are damaging the centrifuges and contaminating the uranium?

What explains Gibbs’ confidence? Perhaps this.

According to a report last week by David Albright and Christina Walrond of the Institute for Science and International Security, “Iran’s problems in its centrifuge programme are greater than expected. … Iran is unlikely to deploy enough gas centrifuges to make enriched uranium for commercial nuclear power reactors (Iran’s stated nuclear goal) for a long time, if ever, particularly if (U.N.) sanctions remain in force.”

Thus, ISIS is saying Iran cannot make usable fuel for the nuclear power plant it is building, and Gibbs is saying Iran lacks the capability to make fuel rods for its research reactor.

Which suggests Iran’s vaunted nuclear program is a busted flush.

ISIS insists, however, that Iran may still be able to build a bomb. Yet, to do that, Iran would have to divert nearly all of its low-enriched uranium at Natanz, now under U.N. watch, to a new cascade of centrifuges, enrich that to 90 percent, then explode a nuclear device.

Should Iran do that, however, it would have burned up all its bomb-grade uranium and lack enough low-enriched uranium for a second test. And Tehran would be facing a stunned and shaken Israel with hundreds of nukes and an America with thousands, without a single nuke of its own.

Is Iran running a bluff? And if Gibbs and Albright are right, how long can Iran keep up this pretense of rapid nuclear progress?

Which brings us to the declaration by Ahmadinejad on the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, which produced this headline in The New York Times: “Iran Boasts of Capacity to Make Bomb Fuel.”

Accurate as far as it went, this headline was so incomplete as to mislead. For here is what Ahmadinejad said in full:

“When we say that we don’t build nuclear bombs, it means that we won’t do so because we don’t believe in having it. … The Iranian nation is brave enough that if one day we wanted to build nuclear bombs, we would announce it publicly without being afraid of you.

“Right now in Natanz we have the capability to enrich to more than 20 percent and to more than 80 percent, but because we don’t need to, we won’t do so.”

On Friday, Ahmadinejad sounded like Ronald Reagan: “We believe that not only the Middle East but the whole world should be free of nuclear weapons, because we see such weapons as inhumane.”

Now, if as Albright suggests, Tehran cannot produce fuel for nuclear power plants, and if, as Gibbs suggests, Iran is not capable of enriching to 20 percent for fuel for its research reactor, is Ahmadinejad, in renouncing the bomb, making a virtue of necessity?

After all, if you can’t build them, denounce them as inhumane.

Last December, however, The Times of London reported it had a secret document, which “intelligence agencies” dated to early 2007, proving that Iran was working on the final component of a “neutron initiator,” the trigger for an atom bomb.

If true, this would leave egg all over the faces of 16 U.S. intelligence agencies whose December 2007 consensus was that Iran stopped seeking a bomb in 2003.

The Times credited an “Asian intelligence service” for having ably assisted with its story.

U.S. intelligence, however, has not confirmed the authenticity of the document, and Iran calls it a transparent forgery. When former CIA man Phil Giraldi sounded out ex-colleagues still in the trade, they, too, called the Times’ document a forgery.

Shades of Saddam seeking yellowcake from Niger.

Are the folks who lied us into war on Iraq, to strip it of weapons it did not have, now trying to lie us into war on Iran, to strip it of weapons it does not have?

Maybe the Senate should find out before voting sanctions that will put us on the road to such a war, which would fill up all the empty beds at Walter Reed.

ABC Celebrates ..Adulterous Affair of JFK as ..’Torrid’ ‘Love Story’ Involving ‘American Royalty’

Good Morning America on Monday touted an adulterous affair John F. Kennedy had in the early 1950s as a “love story” and a “torrid and fleeting romance.”

Co-host George Stephanopoulos lauded the Kennedys as “American royalty” and the show offered no hint of criticism over the infidelity.

“Love letters” revealing the relationship between an engaged and then just-married Kennedy and a Swedish woman are being put on auction this week.

The correspondence between the two show that JFK was cheating on his wife from the very start. Yet, Stephanopoulos delicately spun, “They’ve been called a window into the complicated and conflicted existence that was Kennedy’s life.”

Reporter Chris Bury narrated one of the letters from Kennedy to his Swedish mistress, Gunilla Von Post, asserting that the then-Senator “senses that their destinies are drifting apart.”

He quoted, “I just got word that my wife and sister are coming here. It will be all be complicated, the way I feel now, my Swedish flicka. All I have done is sit in the sun and look at the ocean and think of Gunilla. All love, Jack.”

In total, Bury and Stephanopoulos referred to the “love letters” or “love story” three times, offering no judgment on Kennedy’s adultery. However, this shouldn’t be surprising, as Good Morning America has repeatedly fawned over the Kennedy family.

On June 5 2008, Claire Shipman lovingly compared Barack Obama to Robert Kennedy. She noted the “similarities” and then declared, “The search to shift that mantle, futile of course. But also a quintessentially American desire for, if not a happy ending, some sense of completion.”

On July 16, 2009, Shipman mourned the tenth anniversary of the death of John F. Kennedy Jr., the “prince of Camelot,” and hyperbolically suggested his “very existence had somehow come to represent a critical link to our fairy tale past. And always, always the possibility of another chapter.”

A transcript of the February 15 segment, which aired at 8:11am EST, follows:

8am tease

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Also ahead this morning, John F. Kennedy’s secret love letters. They were written to a mysterious Swedish woman in the early days of his marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy. We’re going to take a first look at these letters.

ROBIN ROBERTS: Huh.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And this is really a remarkable and revealing story. You actually learn that President Kennedy talked to his dad about divorcing Jackie Kennedy to marry this woman.

ROBERTS: You find that our through the letters?

Dodd: Obama will be elected to a second term ‘overwhelmingly’

President Obama will be “re-elected overwhelmingly,” Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) confidently predicted today.

Appeaing on Imus in the Morning, Dodd rejected a comparison between Obama and Jimmy Carter and said Obama will be more politically successful.

“No, no, no. You’re wrong on that,” Dodd told Imus of the Carter comparison. “That’s a mark we’ll put it down. This man will be reelected and reelected overwhelmingly.”

Meanwhile, speaking of his own decision not to run for re-election, Dodd said he would not run even if he was 100% sure he would win.

Dodd recounted making the decision as he visited Ted Kennedy’s grave in Arlington National Cemetery:

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. There was a new snow up there. There wasn’t a person around and went to his grave. I looked back over that city and began to ask myself the basic question, why are you running again and do you want to serve for seven more years? And if you’d given me the seat, eliminated all the opposition, said look, it’s you can be the senator, no questions asked for the next seven years, the answer is no.

Thirty years is plenty of time. I’ve enjoyed it immensely. Someone once asked John McCormick, the great Irish tenor, why he was quitting.

He quit right at the height of his singing career. And his answer was, I’d rather ask them why am I quitting than why haven’t I quit.

Anyway, so, I don’t want to hang around and reach a point where you’re just there marking time and going robotically through the process to be there. Thirty-six years in the Congress is a long time. I’ve enjoyed it. I love the people I served with, and it’s time to move on and do something else.

A “Driver’s License” for Internet Users?

At the recent meeting of the globalist World Economic Forum in Davos, attendee Craig Mundie — chief research and strategy officer for Microsoft — floated the notion that a “driver’s license” should be required for private citizens to access the Internet, no less than what is required to drive an automobile. This would have the effect of putting an end to online anonymity.

Defenders of the idea cite numerous problems of an uncontrolled and uncensored Internet. Some of these range from nuisances like spamming and trolling to cyber-bullying, which is capable of being more than a mere nuisance, to bona fide dangers such as viruses, spying (by corporations or government agencies), identity theft, child pornography, solicitations for prostitution, and organized crime generally.

The blogosphere is buzzing about the idea, with one discussion describing its advocates as control freaks promoting a system more worthy of totalitarian China than the still somewhat-free West.

Another billboard on I-75 just south of Lake City in Florida. The cost of 10 months rental of the billboard and doing the artwork was $6500. The folks responsible for the billboard say they feel it’s a reasonable cost to reach out to 1,000,000 vehicles per month to motivate participation in the electoral process to get our country on sound footing and VOTE OUT everyone in Washington.

Adding up the bloody body-count of failed leftist regimes of the last century, American exceptionalism

The Real American Narrative

By Jim O’Neill  Sunday, February 14, 2010

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve”—Japanese Admiral Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbor (from the film “Tora! Tora! Tora!”)

“You’ve awakened a sleeping giant.”— Katy Abram to Sen. Arlen Spector at a Town Hall meeting, early August, 2009

//

In a recent article in “The Weekly Standard,” Jeff Bergner wrote about the American Narrative—how it has been written by the Left; adopted by our culture, and accepted by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Bergner says that the Narrative goes something like this: From its founding, America has been working towards the ideal of equality for all.  This goal is an inevitable certainty, although it must be aided now and again by the use of will, and power.  The best means of ensuring equality for all, is through the auspices of strong government entitlement programs.

Those who oppose the Narrative are evil, backward, selfish rubes, who place their own self-interest before the welfare of others.  The Narrative also says that American exceptionalism is a misguided, parochial elitism, that prevents world peace, and encourages a divisive American arrogance.

The Left wrote the Narrative in order to supplant America’s real Narrative, and it has been disseminated via Progressive journalists, academics, and politicians for over a century.  It has been repeated so pervasively, and insistently, that it is now taken as a matter of course by most people.  It is, however, a lie.

Millions of Americans long to tell their bosses “take this job and shove it.” Hardly any have the power and money to do so, especially in these recessionary times. Sen. Evan Bayh (D) of Indiana, however, is the exception. His stunning retirement from the Senate is essentially a loud and emphatic “screw you” to President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. For months now, Bayh has been screaming at the top of his voice that the party needs to reorient toward a more popular, centrist agenda — one that emphasizes jobs and fiscal responsibility over health care and cap…

OSHKOSH – A controversial billboard along Highway 41 is catching people’s attention. It calls for President Obama to be removed from office. The spot, near the Oshkosh Correctional Institute, is also becoming a popular spot for motorists to pull over and snap a picture. “The sign kind of struck me as being very forceful. I was driving up to Green Bay this morning and saw it. It just surprised me that a sign like that would be out there, that blatant,” said Gary Fox, of Waukesha. Fox said he agrees with the ‘Impeach Obama’ billboard. The tagline is: ‘America’s small…

Baffled over his inability to get his boss’s agenda passed; despite unstoppable majorities in both houses of Congress, President Obama has determined that America can get along just fine without three branches of government. “With much of his legislative agenda stalled in Congress, President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities.” Now that the American citizenry has made itself utterly clear in its collective repudiation of the Soros-Obama agenda, the president is prepared to act on his own without meddlesomeness by Congress or…

Finally! Somebody Remembers Obama at Occidental

Colossal efforts have been made to conceal Obama’s school records along with the enigmatic birth certificate.

The president has elucidated little about his days at Occidental or Columbia other than to affirm his affection for radical, anti-American Marxists. Obama and his fellow travelers studied the writings of Frantz Fanon, another anti-white, anti-colonialist. Fanon’s book, The Wretched of the Earth, argues for an entirely new world order by way of “absolute violence.” Violence, according to Fanon, purifies. Obama mentor Edward Said was also a Fan of Fanon.

At last, Dr. John C. Drew has come forward to acknowledge that Obama did indeed attend Occidental, saying that his former girlfriend shared classes with Barry. Drew provides little information about Obama being engaged in any actual academic pursuits; but, the future president evidently divided his time between partying and spouting Marxist drek. Drew shared his memories of Obama with Newsmax:
