Marking the National Day of Prayer, evangelist Franklin Graham led in prayer this morning at the Pentagon. Not inside the Pentagon, mind you, but outside, where he led a handful of other Christians in silent prayer.
The recent controversy about Franklin Graham is a sign of things to come. The prominent evangelist, son of Billy Graham, is known for his plain-spoken Christian testimony. He is also an internationally known figure as founder and head of Samaritan’s Purse, a highly respected Christian relief agency. He had been scheduled to speak at the Pentagon today for an official National Day of Prayer event. But, just two weeks ago, he was disinvited by Pentagon officials after complaints were made about his statements concerning Islam.
In the words of the official Pentagon spokesperson, Franklin Graham’s statements about Islam were “not appropriate.” Oddly enough, most in the media seem to have forgotten that the Pentagon faced a similar controversy over Franklin Graham and the very same comments in 2003, when he was invited to speak at an official Pentagon Good Friday service. At that time, the Pentagon stalwartly refused to disinvite Graham. Indeed, the official Pentagon spokesperson said at that time: “While I, personally, would not agree with some of Rev. Graham’s comments and observations, I would defend his right to have his religious views as part of the freedom we have as Americans.”

Via Joe Kovacs, we have a fresh answer to the birthers from Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle (R), given to — of all people — former Michael Jackson confidante Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. The comments come around 77 minutes into this interview, after Boteach asks Lingle about legislation that would protect state employees from having to answer the endless questions about President Obama’s birth certificate.
“You know, during the campaign of 2008, I was actually in the mainland campaigning for Sen. McCain. This issue kept coming up so much in the campaign, and again I think it’s one of those issues that is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country. And so I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact. And yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue. And I think it’s, again, a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this. … It’s been established. He was born here.”(continued)

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis U.S. Dept. of Labor On Thursday, Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, announced the “We Can Help” campaign designed to protect day laborers, even if they are illegal aliens. Solis said her agency recently added 250 field investigators to enforce labor laws, but will apparently not report those here illegally to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The same day that Solis announced the Obama administration’s effort, mostly on behalf of illegal aliens, Labor Department investigator Paul Ramirez visited a day laborer center in Concord, CA. In Spanish, he told the crowd: “We’re the feds, but the good ones. We’re here to help workers.”
Ramirez continued: “Documented or not, the law is: If you work certain hours, you are owed certain money.”

The question has to be asked, now that a second YouTube video has surfaced in which Michelle Obama refers to her husband as a Kenyan.
In a rather whiny harangue during a fundraiser in Tampa in December 2007, in which she discussed how hard it was for her and her husband to pay off student loans from “good schools,” Michelle Obama said the following:
“What it reminded me of was our trip to Africa, two years ago, and the level of excitement that we felt in that country – the hope that people saw just in the sheer presence of somebody like Barack Obama – a Kenyan, a black man, a man of great statesmanship who they believe could change the fate of the world.”

New York City has thousands of police surveillance cameras, which really come in handy when a terrorist strikes. After the car bomb attempt last weekend, they captured an image of the vehicle driving through Times Square and one of a guy taking off his shirt who looked nothing like the guy arrested Monday.
Which raises the question: What good are cameras? The debate over them is often framed as hardheaded law enforcement types versus wimpy civil libertarians. Whether the cameras actually work in practice to help solve and prevent crime generally gets ignored.
It shouldn’t. Leave aside those airy privacy concerns for the moment. Installing, maintaining and monitoring thousands of these devices, as in New York and Chicago, costs millions of dollars. Absent cameras, that money could be spent on beat cops, patrol cars, forensic equipment, jail cells, you name it.

“Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me,” is that childhood mantra that no longer seems to be true. Is it time to modify the old saying to “Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will drive me crazy?”
It seems that the price for not being labeled a racist is merely our silence. Should we find anything at all wrong with the shooting of an Arizona deputy sheriff or the murder of rancher Bob Krentz we will have to wear the label. If we just look the other way as Mexican criminals including members of the Barrio Azteca gang and others flow across our borders we can avoid the dreaded racist label. Let’s not forget to ignore the tons of life destroying drugs that are inundating the borders. Which is it: are we a nation of drug heads or racists, not much of a choice for anyone is it?

To see evidence of suspected Zionist involvement in the Times Square bombing atempt, one has to just examine the CCTV footage. The film shows the individual changing his clothes after getting out of the car which had been packed with explosives. He is clearly a bald Caucasian man with little or no facial hair.
Furthermore his facial and body structure is much different to the Kashmiri individual charged with carrying out the failed attack. The Kashmiri individual has a lot of hair on his head and is not even remotely bald. The Caucasian has a curved but bulging forehead.

Since the individual responsible for planting the car bomb is not even remotely similar to the suspect, Faisel Shahzad, we must question why he has admitted to planting the bomb in the car. I believe he was handpicked by a local informant as the scapegoat in the operation beforehand. Someone knew well ahead of time the day and time he would be leaving the country on a trip back to Pakistan.
So why did he admit guilt? Well my guess is: his family, friends, and relatives were arrested in Pakistan by the Zionist controlled puppet government. They were threatened with being locked up for life, or even worse raped or killed. Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Rehman Maalik is a Mossad asset. Just like Zardari, Shujaa Kayani, and other civilian and/or military leaders in Pakistan, the country’s leadership has been bought out. They took full responsibility for carrying out terrorist atrocities which Pakistani Nationals did not commit – i.e. 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, India….

- “A crude car bomb of propane, gasoline and fireworks was discovered in a ‘smoking’ Nissan Pathfinder in the heart of Times Square on Saturday evening, prompting the evacuation of thousands of tourists and theatergoers on a warm and busy night.”
- Mayor Michael Bloomberg claimed “We were very lucky. We avoided what could have been a very deadly event.”
- For much of the evening, Midtown New York, from 43rd – 48th streets, was closed, heightening fear reported for hours on cable news shows, including statements by Bloomberg, Governor David Paterson, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne, saying the bomb “appeared (to be) in the process of detonating, but it malfunctioned.”
- Good luck or something else? We’ve seen this too often not to be suspicious. This one, like others, has all the earmarks of a false flag, more likely given its coverage and location in Times Square on Saturday night, followed by a May 2 video saying the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility….
