Liberal Hypocrisy: H.S. Grads Must “Show Their Pa-puhs!” Before Meeting Obama

The other day President Golden Calf made a real a-hole statement at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner:

“We all know what happens in Arizona when you don’t have ID: ‘Adios, amigos!’”

This outrageous disrespectful swipe at the law-abiding Arizona not only makes Obama look even more unpresidential than he already is, but also exposes him as the third member of his administration (after Napolitano and Holder) who has clearly not read the freaking 10-page bill. [UPDATE: Make that fourth]

In light of this issue is this latest case of blatant sanctimonious liberal hypocrisy: Before greeting President Hope&Change at their graduation, seniors at Kalamazoo Central High School will have to “Show their pa-puhs!”

The White House appears to be laying the groundwork for President Barack Obama to shake the hand of each senior at Kalamazoo Central High School’s commencement ceremony next month.

Seniors are being asked to provide their birthdates, Social Security numbers and citizen status to the Secret Service so background checks could be performed. Such a check is required for anyone who gets within an arm’s length of the president, students were told at their senior breakfast Friday.

Will (and Can) the FCC Regulate the Internet?

Will (and Can) the FCC Regulate the Internet?
Michigan Capitol Confidential ^ | 5/18/2010 | James Gattuso

Last month, a federal appeals court put a halt to the Federal Communications Commission’s attempt to exert its authority over the Internet and its power play to regulate the companies who provide access to it. According to the Heritage Foundation, “The decision, issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, centers around the FCC’s efforts to enact ‘net neutrality,’ a policy that would prevent ISPs such as AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from managing the flow of traffic on the Internet by discriminating among content and applications that put a high load on their networks.”

So what is “net neutrality” and why does the FCC want to impose it? And why do Internet providers worry that it will harm their businesses and ability to provide Internet service?

Declaring access to the Internet to be like “running water or the light bulb,” FCC chairman Julius Genachowski declared [in April 2009] that it should be regulated. Specifically, he announced that the Commission will be voting next month [Oct. 2009] on a proposal to impose so-called “net neutrality” regulation on Internet service providers such as AT&T, Verizon and Comcast.

Specifically, the plan is to codify four Bush-era “principles” for Internet firms, while adding two more. The first four principles state that consumers are “entitled” to run applications, connect to devices, and access content of their choice, as well as enjoy a choice of providers (all subject to reasonable network management practices). Genachowski would add to these a ban on discriminating among any content or applications, and a mandate that service providers publicly reveal their network management practices.

While perhaps innocuous-sounding, these rules could play havoc with effort to manage congestion on the Internet. The net result – a slower and more congested Internet, and more frustration for users…

Anyone who listens to talk Radio knows that many shows are predicting more economic problems. Not the least of which is Inflation ‘and financial instability caused by massive deficits and the public spending currently taking place under the Obama Administration . This has led to a number of Gold companies advertising on Conservative Talk Radio. The most prominent of these companies is Goldline. Now it appears that a Liberal Democrat Congressman may be getting ready to start some sort of Government or Liberal offensive against Goldline. Today Democrat Anthony Wiener is suppose to have a press conference to issue some sort of attack or investigation against Goldline and Glenn Beck. Recently some liberal media outlets have been talking about Beck and other Radio talk show hosts fomenting “fear” along with Gold buying.

The 1974 textbook protest in Kanawha County, West Virginia was one of the beginning salvos in the culture war that the cultural Marxists are waging on us via the government schools. This time when they fired upon the the parents in Kanawha County fired back. Even though they didn’t win the battle they alerted us nationally to the fact that war had been declared on us by the cultural Marxists.

Veteran calls for prosecution of Blumenthal

Veteran calls for prosecution of Blumenthal

AP Photo/Jessica Hill, File
In this Jan. 6, 2010 file photo, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal announces his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the retirement of fellow Democrat Christopher Dodd in Hartford, Conn. Blumenthal is defending himself against a New York Times report he misstated his military service in Vietnam.

Hartford – Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, the leading Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, was scrambling Tuesday to control the political fall-out from his 2008 remarks falsely stating he served in Vietnam during his time in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Blumenthal plans a press conference at 2 p.m. at the Hannon-Hatch VFW in West Hartford, where he will appear to address a New York Times report detailing multiple occasions where he has misstated or spoken ambiguously about his Vietnam-era service.

The Blumenthal campaign has already denounced the report as “an outrageous distortion,” but did not identify any errors of fact in the Times report.

Meanwhile, Blumenthal’s Republican rivals (along with his few Democratic opponents) are smelling blood.

Jim Bancroft was standing in front of the state Capitol Tuesday morning, waving a U.S. Marine Corps flag on a white plastic pole, holding a white dry-erase board on which he had written the following slogan:

“Prosecute Blumenthal Stolen Valor Act”

Within hours of the New York Times’ publication of its article — based on a video clip leaked to the paper by the campaign of Republican Linda McMahon — conservatives like Bancroft sense an opening, and a chance to demolish a candidate who had once seemed nearly insurmountable to some Connecticut political experts.

Bancroft, who served in the Marines from 1977 to 1981, is an ardent conservative and thus an ideological foe of Democrats like Blumenthal. But he said Tuesday that he had occasionally defended the attorney general when he heard others charge that Blumenthal had falsely claimed service in Vietnam.

“He told me he was a reservist in D.C.,” Bancroft said, referring to a conversation he had with the attorney general at one of the numerous rallies to send off or welcome home troops that Blumenthal attends.

“I even stood up for him,” Bancroft said. “I’m about as right-wing as you can get, but I defended him, and he deserved it.”

Bancroft said he was shocked by the video published Monday evening by the Times, in which Blumenthal, speaking at a 2008 event in Norwalk, says the country has “learned something since the days that I served in Vietnam.” The Times also reported that Blumenthal had spoken of having “returned” from Vietnam in 2003, at best a misleading construction since the future attorney general’s reserve units were based in Washington and Connecticut, and he never fought in the war.

When a reporter noted that Blumenthal had often seemed careful to note he had been a reservist, and not to suggest he had served in Vietnam or experienced combat, Bancroft agreed, but said he was surprised and angered to hear the sentence Blumenthal uttered in Norwalk.

“I’ve never heard him say it either,” Bancroft said Tuesday morning, “and it shocked me to hear him say it that way. He’s a lawyer. He knows exactly what words mean.”

Blumenthal will address the controversy at a 2 p.m. press conference in West Hartford.

Meanwhile, one of his rivals for the U.S. Senate, Linda McMahon, is taking credit for planting the story with the Times, an apparent attempt to demonstrate its robust opposition research machine in advance of Friday’s Republican convention, and an expected primary in August.

McMahon’s strongest Republican rival for the nomination, former U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons, will hold a press conference about the Blumenthal controversy at 12:30 p.m. at the state Capitol.

Bancroft’s sign urged that Blumenthal be investigated under the 2005 federal Stolen Valor Act, a statute that attempts to criminalize the making of false claims about military service and medals. It’s unclear if that law, which some lawmakers have also proposed, would apply in this case. It is also subject to a current court challenge, on the grounds that it could violate First Amendment rights to free speech.

Democratic politicians were reeling at the Blumenthal revelation.

A high-ranking Democratic operative in Connecticut, who had earlier expressed concern about Blumenthal’s missteps in the opening moments of his campaign, was blunt Monday night. The operative responded to an e-mail about the Times story with a single word: “horrible.”

State Sen. Andrew Maynard, D-Stonington, the co-chairman of the legislature’s Veterans Affairs Committee, said in an interview Tuesday that he was “taken aback” by Blumenthal’s remarks at the Norwalk rally, and waiting to hear the attorney general’s explanation at the press conference this afternoon.

“My recollection of his speeches is that he’s pretty forthcoming about not having served in theater,” Maynard said.

In previous appearances where he’d heard Blumenthal mention his military service, Maynard said, it was customarily to highlight the importance of treating current service members and veterans respectfully, even though the country was once again politically divided over war.

When pundits analyze why the masses flocked to the untested, mysterious Obama, they cite the usual suspects:  anger at George Bush, white guilt, desire for some elusive change.  But there’s a missing ingredient here:  sex.

Now I didn’t vote for Obama.  When I see the dude, I ache, but not out of lust. However, millions have fallen under his spell and remain smitten.

While there is Obama Girl, there are Obama Boys aplenty, like Chris Matthews and his tingly feeling up the leg.  Sean Hannity did a hilarious send up of male reporters gushing about Obama’s pecs, to the tune of Endless Love.

For a long while, it wasn’t safe to wander over to a store’s magazine section. Every other magazine, from Newsweek to Men’s Health,  featured Barack’s well-toned bod.

Then we heard about the female New York Times reporter who blogged about her Obama sex dreams.  Not to be outdone, hundreds of Times readers joined in to describe their reveries.

Some of my friends started acting like pre-teens when the O word was mentioned.  My chum  Wendy literally kissed her Obama bumper sticker right before my unbelieving eyes.

Another gal pal, Barb, who’s generally apolitical, giggled with girlish delight after she watched the inauguration.  She gushed, “He’s the coolest man alive!”

Of course the press sold Obama like the newest form of crack, getting the public fixated on his every word. The same media that stalks Angelina and Paris anointed Obama the ultimate celebrity.  And to the addicted masses, entranced by leering reality shows and 24/7 texting, the Obama Show was just another sexually charged extravaganza.

But while reporters behaved like lovesick schoolgirls, Obama’s sex appeal wasn’t just manufactured by the press.  His handlers carefully crafted his image to seduce and excite.

From the moment he arrived on the scene, Obama sent out a sexual tone. Suddenly, sexuality is in our faces, whether it’s gay marriage, Queering school kids, or elevating the transgendered to high places in government.

Not only has the message been sexual, but sexually abusive. Sarah Palin has been denigrated and tea partiers called lewd names.   According to a couple of new books, Obama himself used sexually hostile,  degrading language to smear the Tea Parties and Rush Limbaugh.

I think that the hostile sexual vibe is partly Obama himself; that is, the cavalier and vicious way he attacks any and all opponents.  But it’s also lifted from the Left’s playbook: corrupt society and keep the masses hypnotized and distracted.

Their sinister plan has worked; we have an addicted nation, manically seeking out their next fix.  As conservatives, we have to figure out some way to snap the Obama Girls and Boys out of their virtual realities. They need to get a grip and face the morning after, as unpleasant as it will be.

If the masses remain enamored with the snarling, disdainful Obama, who is plunging us into ruination, then they’re no longer in just an addicted relationship. They are also in an abusive one.

Because abuse is the inevitable consequences of staying with those mean, Bad Boys and Girls.  And those of us who’ve been there and done that know that this sick, symbiotic relationship always ends badly.

Your lights are on, but you’re not home.

Your will is not your own.

Your heart sweats, your teeth grind. . .

Whoa, you like to think you’re immune to the stuff

It’s closer to the truth to say you can’t get enough

You know you’re gonna have to face it

You’re addicted to love.

You might as well face it,

You’re addicted to love.

(Addicted to Love , Robert Palmer)

Hawaii DOH Has Destroyed Permanent Records
May 18, 2010 | Butterdezillion

The Hawaii Department of Health claims in official communications that the original birth index and index of foreign births (which are both required to be retained permanently) don’t exist.

When vital records were converted to their current electronic format and the computer itself allowed sorting and locating, the HDOH submitted the old, original paper indices (VR-1)to the comptroller for a determination of what should happen to them. The comptroller agreed that those indices should be retained permanently, as originals and/or as security and search microfilms.

The HDOH at the same time made a separate request for the certificates themselves (VR-2)to be analyzed and it was decided that they, too, should be kept as originals and microfilm security and search copies authorized.

REPUBLICAN PARTY, RED FROM THE START

by Alan Stang
February 1, 2008
NewsWithViews.com

Many patriots these days lament that the Republican Party has “lost its way” and “gone wrong.” It has “diverged” from the fiscally responsible, small government philosophy of Republican heroes like Robert Taft whom Eisenhower’s handlers finagled out of the nomination for President in 1952. We are told that is why today’s Republican Establishment hates Dr. Ron Paul with such a passion; that they hate him because, like Taft, he is the quintessential Republican. Patriots who say that are mistaken, of course. The reason the Republican Establishment hates Dr. Paul is precisely that he is not a traditional, mainstream Republican, that his platform of freedom is an aberration. The Republican Party didn’t “go wrong,” didn’t “go left.”

The news of John F. Kennedy’s assassination was so shocking, so unexpected that it generated a gasp heard ‘round the world. People simply stopped breathing for a second. If you lived through it, you know what I mean. If you didn’t, ask your parents or grandparents. They will tell you precisely what they were doing and how they felt when they heard the news.

The overwhelming quest for closure continues to this day. We are still searching for answers. Over two million visitors – from all over the world – make a solemn pilgrimage to the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza each year. Most come to see what they have only read about or seen on film. Others come because they feel it is sacred ground.

Though I was only eleven years old in 1963, my grief was as tangible as any adult. Buoyed by Kennedy’s “…ask not what your country can do for you speech”, I felt the promise of America. But when I heard the news of his death, I was engulfed with a sadness that was more profound than any emotion I had ever experienced.

First Holder, now this. Second verse, same as the first: It would take 20 minutes to read through the statute and less than two to read the key provisions that have raised concerns about racial profiling. But if you read it then you’re responsible for what you say about it, and we can’t have that with the midterms less than six months away. So here’s the deputy border-enforcer-in-chief admitting that she hasn’t found the time yet to review “in detail” an immigration law that’s been the talk of the country politically for about a month now. Consider this a sequel to my post about Huntsman and China: Not only is State badmouthing a statute supported by most Americans, but given administration practices, there’s a better than even chance that no one in authority over there has even read it yet.

Though it’s only May, I have no qualms with the following prediction: Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood will be my favorite film of 2010. It captured every element that a good movie requires: a bit of history, patriotism, loyalty, a struggle for freedom, war, and love.

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe stars as the legendary Robin Longstride, archer for King Richard the Lionheart (Danny Huston). Longstride dedicates a lifetime of service to Richard I, from the Crusades to war with France. When the King is murdered in battle, however, Longstride ventures off to Nottingham to fulfill the wish of a dead knight. There, he discovers a town that has been crippled by taxation and corruption.

It does not take long for the transition from Robin Longstride to Robin Hood, a name acquired by his use of a hooded disguise in his exploits. Robin and his merry marauders confront the corruption of both the government and the church in the village of Nottingham.

Unfortunately, while Robin Hood and his Merry Men make progress in Nottingham, England is plagued by greater threats from without, specifically a plotted French invasion and the overarching fear of a Spanish invasion, as well as those from within, Englishmen who are angered by the abuse of power at the hands of the newly anointed King John (Oscar Isaac).

Islamophobia is a Social Disease

Have you ever wondered why liberal professors spend class time characterizing conservative Christians as dangerous while describing Islam as a “religion of peace”? Ever wonder why these liberal professors compare conservative Christians to the Taliban while giving the real Taliban a pass? I think I finally figured it out a few weeks ago after I got a surprise visit from the campus police on the final day of the spring semester.

The reason for the visit, which was entirely professional and appropriate, related to my April 26th article “How to Offend Barbarians and Promote Diversity.” Just two days after the article was published the police chief came to visit me because another professor was concerned that those who wish me harm might come to our campus and injure others in their attempt to harm me. In other words, someone might shoot up the place and take an innocent life, which is a very bad thing according to liberals – unless, of course, we’re talking about abortion.

Let me pause and say that I have absolutely no doubt that the professor who called the police did so out of a genuine fear for her safety, rather than malice towards me. But that is where my sympathy for the un-named professor ends. Please allow me to explain.

I’ve written numerous articles referring to real threats I’ve received. I’ve even written articles talking about how I respond to such threats. Of course, when the threats have come from the left there has been no concern that a band of crazy liberals would come and shoot up the workplace. Liberals don’t have guns. They rely on Broadway Security, which is why all of those silly commercials have white burglars. Broadway knows its liberal audience would be offended by the suggestion that blacks commit burglary.

But the article I wrote on April 26th was different than most articles I write. I really got in the face of Revolution Muslim for threatening the producers of South Park with death. I even dared them to put me on their death list. The liberal professors on my campus, who are obsessed with my columns, certainly read my challenge to Revolution Muslim. And one of those liberal professors freaked out and called the police even though no specific threat had been issued against anyone.

The reason for the over-reaction was simple: Muslims were involved. Liberals do not hate Muslims like they hate conservative Christians. They fear Muslims and are so preoccupied with their fear of Muslims that they never get to the point of hating them.

This liberal fear of Muslims is to be found almost everywhere in academia. Take the case of Julio Pino, the radical Muslim Jihadist who teaches at Kent State University. Julio disseminates bomb-making instructions, encourages children to engage in suicide bombings, and generally displays his love of violence in a very public manner. But the liberals who work with Pino will not utter a word of criticism for the simple reason that they fear him.

Recently, I wrote an email to Pino’s Department Chairman at Kent State. In it, I challenged him to speak out against Pino for the misogynistic email he sent to me from his Kent State account. For those who don’t remember – or who have not read my past columns – Pino claimed he sodomized my mother in an obscene email, which used the “c-word,” the “f-word,” and the “a-word.”

But Pino’s Chairman was afraid to criticize his Jihadist subordinate. So I wrote the Kent State University Women’s Center with the following plea:

Obama vs Dr James Manning

I have been doing some reading on this subject maybe someone can shed some light on this I have found that our President is being taken to court for the fact that he is not who he says he is and Dr Manning is going to court for this matter. I am very shocked that this is a big subject but Dr Manning has a trial going on and I listened to his radio show online and they spoke about President Obama was known in Canada as Barry Soetoro, if this is not true then why is Dr Manning not shutting up.

This is a really alarming piece of information to hear. Anyone who has a few hours needs to listen to this man on audio all of this started because he says that Obama is not a Columbia graduate and he has proof and he Law Degree is not valid. I can not imagine that I voted for someone who is this good at fooling people but then again I became a little worried that President Obama is ridding with Nancy P. and David Rockefeller. These are the lesser of the two evils.

Anyone who needs to confirm this information check it out for me because I have been reading a lot of people and they have proof not just talking out of there behinds. They have interviewed people from Columbia University and no one knew Obama from the college. If all of these things are false then why has he not gotten one response from the White House?

ATLAS (Shrugs) EXCLUSIVE: Trevor Kelway on the EDL Website Shutdown

In what can only be described as a milestone in the breakdown of Western values and principles, the website of the EDL (English Defense League) was shut down, removed from the web. This is, essentially, self-enforcement of sharia (Islamic) law. Slander in Islam does not mean what it means in the West. Slander in Islam is anything that a Muslim decides is an “insult” to Islam. And they are relentless and violent in their imposition of this seventh century tenet of Islam.

This violation of free speech is an outrage. In a rational world, it would propel free men to take to the streets, villagers with torches, marching for their unalienable rights endowed by our creator — freedom of speech, individual rights.

What right do these velvet-tongued fascists have to remove the forum for the few brave, decent men and women who refuse to dhimmi down? This is a shot across the bow. The EDL is taking the hit for us, all of us, but they are merely first ………… The campaign against the EDL is vigorous and ugly. They have been maligned and smeared by the leftist/Islamic alliance, so as to marginalize them. Render them toxic, radioactive — much like the tea parties have been demonized here in the states.

The jihad is free to activate, mobilise, preach overthrow of the West, run jihad porn of beheadings and the blowing up of coalition soldiers on the net, but the EDL is shut up and shut down for revealing the truth about quranic verses. Truth begets hatred.

Indefinite detention OK for sex offenders

by Charles Platt “The Supreme Court ruled Monday that federal officials can indefinitely hold inmates considered ‘sexually dangerous’ after their prison terms are complete.” (Washington Post) Since it is her duty to do so, nominee Elena Kagan argued the government’s case in favor of indefinite detention. She “compared the government’s power to commit sexual predators [...]

by Charles Platt In West Virginia, you can lose your license for a year even if there’s no proof that you were driving, or there’s a possibility that you might have done all your drinking after driving. Being near your car while drunk is enough. Read more…

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MIKI BOOTH, CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE AND WITNESS SCHEDULED TO TESTIFY ON MAY 18….I thought that I had heard it all or knew it all, but what really made an impact on all of us was there was an investigator named Al Landry who called in on Skype, so we were able to see and hear him answer Dr. Manning’s questions. He found out that Stanley Ann Soetoro lived in Karachi, Pakistan for five years at the high-dollar Hilton Hotel….we know that Stanley Ann Dunham was in Karachi for five years working for Asia Development Bank, and at the same time that she was there, her mother was vice president of Bank of Hawaii. And now because we know that he has used about 44 different social security numbers attached to his name, oh, and Asia Development Bank is a front for the CIA. SHARON: It is? MIKI: Yes. So these multiple social security numbers is a way of laundering money. That’s how it’s done; it’s the most common technique for laundering money – having fake social security numbers.
