Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse – unless you watch “Glenn Beck” every day – a bill is making its way through Congress that would give the President of the United States the authority to seize control of the world wide web in response to a “national cyber emergency.” It would also establish new federal bureaucracies with new powers to regulate the Internet.
The bill, entitled ‘‘Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010,’’ is a pet project of Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman, with very strong support from Senator Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat and chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee.
Who gets to declare a national cyber emergency under this bill?
The President may issue a declaration of a national cyber emergency to covered critical infrastructure (Section 249 (a)(1))
Who gets to decide what constitutes “covered critical infrastructure?” It is defined as including any component of the “national information infrastructure,” which essentially means all portions of the Internet not already owned or licensed by the federal government, that appears on the prioritized critical infrastructure list established by the Secretary of Homeland Security. (Sections 3 and 241)

The President shall direct all Federal, State, and private actions to remove a discharge or mitigate or prevent the threat of a discharge from onshore or offshore facilities which is determined to be a substantial threat to the public health or welfare of the United States.—Clean Water Act 311 (c) (2) (Link)
Doesn’t the above quote from the Clean Water Act say that “The President shall direct…the cleanup?” So why is “Pass the Buck” Obama passing the… never mind, I answered my own question.
Still and all, why the heck is BP in charge of the oil spill—and don’t tell me because the Obama Administration and Congress are worried about the cost. Heck, they’ve been spending money like it’s going out of style since Obama took office. A billion here, a trillion there—it’s never been a problem for them to spend money before. Our money. (Link)
It makes you wonder.
But that’s not what this article’s about, I’m mainly concerned with whether the oil spill was caused intentionally, or not, and if it was, would that constitute an act of war against the United States?
You would think that our government (which supposedly protects us from such stuff) would be showing a tad more interest in getting to the bottom of things.(Link)
You would think that our military, which used to swear an oath the protect America from all enemies, “foreign and domestic,” would be a bit more concerned. I guess they don’t take that oath anymore. (Link)
Oh well.
How did the oil spill start? The mundane, if unlikely answer, is greed and human stupidity caused it. I say “unlikely” for two reasons: The number of “fail-safe” protocols, techniques, and equipment that all failed at the same time, and 2) the all-too-convenient timing of the “accident.” (Link)
Before the Deepwater Horizon fiasco, the Lieberman-Kerry “Cap-and-Trade” bill was stalled in Congress. With the loss of trillions of dollars at stake, with the likely collapse of the CCX (Chicago Climate eXchange), and the “redistribution of wealth” scenario coming apart, what to do, what to do? Enter the old Far Left hoary saw, “When all else fails, force it!”—jam it down America’s throat, ala Bill Maher’s suggestion.
There are a lot of “heavy hitters” surrounding the CCX—Goldman Sachs, Al Gore, BP, George Soros, to name just a few. And there are a number of possible culprits directly responsible for the oil spill: BP, Halliburton, Cameron, Boots and Coots, Transocean…. (Link)

Tuesday night, in an Oval Office speech to the nation, President Obama took the gloves off.
He lashed out at BP over the monumental oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He vowed that he will make BP pay for all the long and short-term damage it caused. He argued that the battle against this now nearly two-month-old raging gusher of oil is tantamount to a war. And he asked the country to allow him and the Congress to regulate all businesses and private homes in the name of going green.

As the deepening crisis of the catastrophic Gulf oil disaster continues to unfold, several oil spill stories of major importance have been virtually ignored. Even the conservative media have refused by and large to cover these stories.
Conservative Examiner was among the first to break these stories, yet to this day not a single major media outlet has been willing to report them, not even Fox News or conservative talk radio.
These stories are explosive, conclusive, factually verified, and of utmost importance to understanding what is truly happening in the Gulf and the scenario that led to it.
First, on June 4 Conservative Examiner reported that Coast Guard log records indicate that the U.S. government was fully aware within 3 hours of the Gulf oil spill that the gusher would be a major disaster that would at least equal that of the Exxon-Valdez tanker spill in Alaska. Obama was informed of that information.

It’s a rumor that dates back decades: To keep the sexual appetites of recruits in check so they can focus on basic training, the military services sneak saltpeter into the food served to new soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines.
Jeff Schogol, the “Rumor Doctor” at Stars and Stripes, actually went to the trouble of getting the services to respond to this legend. You probably won’t be surprised to learn that he got a series of strenuous denials.
“The rigors of basic training alone are sufficient to keep the urges at abeyance,” an Army spokesman reported. “Keep in mind that it’s not just recruits that dine in our recruit messing facilities but all authorized patrons,” the Marines said. “Though the rumor persists in some imaginations, for the Air Force it has never been true,” a service spokesman said. The Navy likewise quashed the legend. And the Defense Logistics Agency said there’s “no way” sexual suppressants are added to any meals served to the troops.

On Tuesday evening, with the disaster now pushed into a continual downward spiral, the President addressed the nation. By pushing the cap and trade agenda he was attempting to blow smoke to his sheeple. Lots of interesting keywords and phrases were used in the speech to quail the fear throughout the general public. During the speech, Obama had this to say about stopping this horrific spill, “Stopping it has tested the limits of human technology.”
An interesting statement, considering it is still testing the limits of human technology, and until it is stopped, it will forever test those limits. Obama went on to say, “This is the worst disaster we have ever faced….. More like an epidemic, one that will continue for months or even years.” He mentioned how 30,000 people are working on the spill along with 17,000 National Guard.
For anyone who still denies military involvement, it is time to wake up and smell the coffee, or should I say ” wake up and smell the Corexit ?” Obama clearly stated in his speech, ” I authorized governors in the effected areas to activate troops as soon as possible”.

The former Honolulu elections clerk who maintains President Obama was not born in Hawaii and has no birth certificate from any hospital in the Aloha State is promoting a simple way to resolve the uproar over eligibility, at least for the future. Tim Adams, 45, senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, says all candidates for all offices should be required to prove their identity and eligibility before they can even run. “The easiest way would be to pass legislation saying everyone has to verify their identity when they’re running for office,” Adams told WND in an exclusive interview last week. “I do think requiring everyone to certify their identity would probably solve the entire controversy.” Adams stresses the requirement should be for all political contests, from the presidency down to local races, to make sure officeholder-wannabes are who they say they are, and live in the proper district, for instance. Regarding Obama’s case specifically, he said, “I’d like to see it resolved finally.” “It’s quite strange because when the next cycle comes, will they require that he show the birth certificate, or will he not get on the ballot in those states?” he wondered. Adams, a Hillary Clinton supporter who now teaches English at Western Kentucky University while he works on his master’s degree, burst onto the scene last week in a WND story in which he asserted that Obama was definitely not born in Hawaii as the White House claims and that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not even exist there.
“There is no birth certificate,” he said. “It’s like an open secret. There isn’t one. Everyone in the government there knows this.” “I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver’s license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone’s identity,” Adams explained. “I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama].” He stressed, “In my professional opinion, [Obama] definitely was not born in Hawaii. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he was not born in Hawaii because there is no legal record of him being born there. If someone called and asked about it, I could not tell them that person was born in the state.” At the request of his university, Adams is now declining any further comment on the matter. WND confirmed with Hawaiian officials that Adams was indeed working in their election offices during the last presidential election. “His title was senior elections clerk in 2008,” said Glen Takahashi, elections administrator for the city and county of Honolulu. Adams oversaw a group of 50 to 60 employees and was responsible for verifying the identity of voters, especially absentee voters. GEN. VALLELY: When you go back to the Constitution, it says that it’s the people’s right to remove a government, hopefully through a peaceful process. If you look at what’s out there, as far as the people and the government are concerned, there are only about four ways to effect a peaceful transfer of power. One way, of course, is through the elections. The second is to demand resignation, where the people actually demand that a sitting president resign as they did when the pressure was put on Richard Nixon, for example. Now with that pressure and declining popularity dipping into 40% support, then 30, then 20%…basically, it’s a no-confidence vote of the people that this executive is not doing the job for America. So then you have the demand-resignation pressure that could occur on the part of the people of the country, and other leadership, corporate as well as political, that could create a tremendous demand that this administration resign. And I’m not talking only about Obama resigning for incompetence, corruptness, fraud, lying, and treasonous occurrences in his administration which are violations of his oath and violation of the Constitution, but also his entire political apparatus in Washington and those who contributed to the corruption. So there is plenty of material there that should create enough public support that they demand his resignation.
