Thus there is a paradox, and we must grasp both ends of the situation: We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people who are not capable of hurting each other, except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep.
I mean nothing negative by calling them sheep. To me it is like the pretty, blue robin’s egg. Inside it is soft and gooey but someday it will grow into something wonderful. But the egg cannot survive without its hard blue shell. Police officers, soldiers, and other warriors are like that shell, and someday the civilization they protect will grow into something wonderful? For now, though, they need warriors to protect them from the predators.
“Then there are the wolves,” the old war veteran said, “and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy.” Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial. “Then there are sheepdogs,” he went on, “and I’m a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf.”
After an incendiary and false Time magazine feature on the incident several months later, many in the media were calling for the heads of all Marines involved, including Lt. Col. Chessani. Eight Marines were charged with murder or failure to investigate. The unfounded charges were dropped or dismissed against six of the accused, and one was acquitted. Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich still faces reduced charges and is due in court in September.
The Bulletin condemns the government’s prosecution of Lt. Col. Chessani. His superior officers called him “Truly one of the finer thinkers of this COIN [counterinsurgency] environment.” His Reviewing Officer, Major General Huck, called him a “Top notch officer with outstanding potential” and stated that Lt. Col. Chessani had “Unlimited potential and value to the Marine Corps,” adding that he was “Capable of the most challenging assignments.” Major General Huck also recommended Chessani’s promotion to Colonel and attendance at a Top Level School.
Lt. Col. Chessani wasn’t an average Marine. Our nation lost a superb leader, decorated combat veteran, and patriot who stood by his fellow Marines in the courtroom and on the battlefield. It is an egregious effrontery that his service to the U.S. Marine Corps for twenty-three years would unceremoniously come to an end as a political scapegoat. All this has done is weakened our country and dishonored a good man and a great Marine.

Does anyone read the U.S. Constitution these days? American lawyers don’t read it. Federal Judge Susan R. Bolton apparently has never read it. Same goes for our illustrious Attorney General Eric Holder. But this lawyer has read it and she is going to show you something in Our Constitution which is as plain as the nose on your face.Article III, Sec. 2, clause 2 says:
In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction…“Original” jurisdiction means the power to conduct the “trial” of the case as opposed to hearing an appeal from the judgment of a lower court. You all know quite well what a “trial” is – you see them all the time on TV shows: Perry Mason, Boston Legal, The Good Wife, etc. Witnesses testify and are cross-examined, etc.The style of the Arizona case shows quite clearly that the named defendants are: State of Arizona; and Janice K. Brewer, Governor of the State of Arizona, in her Official Capacity, Defendants.Judge Susan R. Bolton has no more authority to preside over this case than do youSee where it says, “State of Arizona”? And “Janice K. Brewer, Governor of the State of Arizona, in her official Capacity”? THAT plus Art. III, Sec. 2, clause 2 is what gives the US Supreme Court “original Jurisdiction”, i.e., jurisdiction to conduct the trial of this case.
THAT is what strips the federal district court of any jurisdiction whatsoever to hear this case. Judge Susan R. Bolton has no more authority to preside over this case than do you unless you are a US Supreme Court justice.

A friend recently turned me on to the CBS television series, Jericho. I watch so little network television that I confess to never having seen the show before this week. Obviously, then, I am quite uninformed as to the overall plot and previous episodes. What I saw Tuesday evening, however, stunned me.
Why? Because it very aptly depicted what could become a very real-life scenario for these United States in the not-so-distant future.If I accurately picked up the basic plot of the show, average, freedom-loving citizens in the Western U.S. are fighting against tyrannical elements of their own government, including military forces. The State of Texas has declared its independence from the corrupt new government and another civil war is breaking out in America. And all this was predicated upon a nuclear attack, which some believed was an inside job. Am I close?Contributing further to my amazement was the way Jericho used real-life political events to depict America’s fall into tyranny.
I was flabbergasted to see the characters of Jericho refer to the Continuity of Government act as the foundation for the government’s declaration of martial law after the nuclear attack had occurred.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Continuity of Government COG act is not television make-believe: it is the real deal.

The last time I recall the nation being this concerned over the state of the presidency was during the Lewinsky scandal and ensuing impeachment proceedings against President Clinton. Before that it was during the slow revelation of the Watergate scandal that finally forced Richard Nixon’s resignation.
On Thursday, July 22, an editorial opinion by Tom Tancredo in The Washington Times called for the impeachment of President Obama.
A column by Jeffrey Kuhner was titled “President’s socialist takeover must be stopped.”
Tancredo, a former five-term member of Congress, is now the chairman of the Rocky Mountain Foundation.
Kuhner, a Times columnist, is president of the Edmund Burke Institute.
Burke, an Irish orator, philosopher and politician 1729-1797 is best known for his warning that “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”, but he also said, “Men have no right to put the well-being of the present generation wholly out of the question. Perhaps the only moral trust with any certainty in our hands is the care of our own time.”
It is the conceit of every generation that those that preceded it were less sophisticated, but it is clear from Alexander Hamilton’s Federalist Paper number 65, published in the New York Packet on March 7, 1788, that the question of impeachment as defined in the Constitution was being debated, the subtleties of the issue were not only understood by the author, but by Americans of his era as well.

I have found that many writers, in many publications, writing about Carlson, have made the observation that the words Gung Ho have lost much of their original meaning. Also, it has been pointed out that the translation of the words themselves from the Chinese produces even more room for confusion, as there may be multiple definitions or interpretations, just as many American words have more that one dictionary meaning. And, too, many have noted that “Gung Ho!” has been “bastardized” to the point that it is now, to many, just a slogan, a battle cry, or just a word denoting a goodMarine Gung Ho was not something simple to understand, even for Carlson and his Raider Marines–it had to be worked on and lived!
In an article titled “The Legacy of Evans Carlson,” by Robert J. In one of the most deceptive lines in the WaPo article, the writer informs us that “Although the prices are high, enthusiasts say that electric cars can reach a large, untapped market for vehicles with little or no tailpipe emissions.”
Oh the clever journalists, parsing their words so carefully: yes, zero tailpipe emissions if you always plug it in and drive no farther than 40 miles and if you don’t count the smokestack emissions from the oh-so-evil coal-fired electric generation plants…

NASHVILLE — Comments by Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey suggesting that Islam might be a cult and that Muslims might not qualify for constitutionally guaranteed religious freedoms drew criticism from Islamic groups Tuesday and an eruption of national media attention.
Ramsey, a Republican candidate for governor, said at a mid-July campaign event in Chattanooga that he is “all about freedom of religion,” which is guaranteed by the First Amendment.
“But you cross the line when they start trying to bring Sharia law into the United States,” he said. “Now you could even argue whether being a Muslim is actually a religion, or is it a nationality, a way of life or cult, whatever you want to call it? We do protect our religions, but at the same time, this is something that we are going to have to face.”
O’Reilly proudly announced on his show, just last night, that he had investigated the issue and having found the two birth announcements from 1961, he can confirm that Obama was born in Hawaii!
Where did O’Reilly find them? The Post & Email is the only site on the web where both have been published. Did he perhaps just read The Post & Email, or did he do actual research?
If he had read The Post & Email, he would have noticed my commentary, where I point out the obvious problem with the birth announcements: they do not announce Obama’s birth; they announce a male child born to Mr. & Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama at an address where such a couple never lived.
The Obama administration is seeking to make it easier for the FBI to compel companies to turn over records of an individual’s Internet activity without a court order if agents deem the information relevant to a terrorism or intelligence investigation.
The administration wants to add just four words — “electronic communication transactional records” — to a list of items that the law says the FBI may demand without a judge’s approval. Government lawyers say this category of information includes the addresses to which an Internet user sends e-mail; the times and dates e-mail was sent and received; and possibly a user’s browser history.
It does not include, the lawyers hasten to point out, the “content” of e-mail or other Internet communication.

It’s been little more than 10 months since the 2008 Presidential Elections, and for even the casual observer a lot has changed in America.When you arrive at middle-age, you are naturally inclined to look back at your life and consider where you’ve been headed.
When I look back at America, I see that a lot has changed in the last year: much more than perhaps we realize, if we concentrate on the issues of the present 24hrs in which we live.To this extent it is very useful to enumerate what’s been lost and what’s been gained.What died in 2008?1.
The first thing that died in 2008, was the Free Press. This is so obvious it would be mundane to give examples. But it seems to be that the Free Press committed suicide; there was no question of a homicide.
Why did the Free Press commit suicide? I think there are 2 main issues: the first, the latent and diffusive marxist ideologues in the journalism profession, put there and nurtured there through the state policy of the U.S.S.R. to infiltrate the schools of journalism in America, and to promote societal collapse from within, by promoting the break down of morals — an objective shared by Freemasonry internationally.
Someone with Marxist credentials, before all else, would serve the agenda of these ideologues.Second, in particular, we cannot forget the war that has been waged in America in the last decade, in particular, against marriage; the successes and failures to defend it; and the frustration of the progressivists and anti-christian forces in this country to get their agenda advanced…
