Obama has no intention of running for a second term. He already knows that he wouldn’t stand a chance of winning reelection without massive voter fraud. He will be replaced as the Democratic candidate by Hillary Clinton. Should she win, she will be just like Obama. They both belong to the same Marxist Progressive club. Ms. Clinton has already begun her campaign, though by stealth so far.
Obama doesn’t want the job of president, he just likes the feeling of power and the perks. That is why he has over 35 czars to do all of the work while he is out campaigning, partying, vacationing, and golfing. He knows he is destroying the country, for that is his assigned task by the Progressive leadership.
Obama is a career drifter. Four years in one job is almost more than he can stand. He has never stayed in one job for more than two years. He left the Illinois Senate after two years to campaign for the U.S. Senate. He left the U.S. Senate after just 18 months to start campaigning for president. He can’t stand being in the White House for more than a couple of days at a time before he’s off for a $200,000 plane ride at taxpayers’ expense.

I recently had occasion to return briefly to Henderson Hall HqBn HQMC after an absence of some 40 years. Was in the Laurel, Maryland area that week, and drove down to Arlington on that Sunday afternoon, stopping by at HH for only a few minutes time
As I expected, the old HH known to me, of numerous white, wooden buildings no longer exists; in their place is a group of red brick buildings, etc. The only objects I saw that could possibly have survived from the old days, are the gatehouse and swimming pool maybe.
I had forgotten that the Navy Annex sits so close to the Pentagon–on the way in I observed first the Pentagon coming into view, and then the blackened, gaping hole where the aircraft had impacted on 9/11/01!
Went by the War Memorial initially, was also surprised that the figures in the familiar replacement flag statue appeared to be not as large as I had remembered them to be.
Also, I next proceeded out to Columbia Pike, in Arlington, and was again surprised, to see that the old street of my many liberties was still much the same as I recalled in my days there from 1959 till 1962.
It occurred to me, as I observed these things, that I could never have conceived of myself, now in my mid-sixties, standing on that same ground now in the year 2001, and seeing the things I was seeing.
Life is strange.
Freedom is not free, it must be won anew by each generation.My brief visit on last Sunday afternoon brought back many memories of my time there, and I may write this up in more detail at a later date.

What kind of a man would kill someone he didn’t know for someone else he didn’t know? I suppose our opinion of such an individual would depend on the circumstances. Most people would condemn a hit man for hire even as they would praise a man who came to the defense of a little old lady in a parking lot who was being attacked with deadly force by a gang of thugs.
But what kind of a man would kill someone he didn’t know, who had never harmed or threatened him, his family, his friends, or anyone he knew for someone he didn’t know, who didn’t know him, and had never been harmed or threatened by the person he wanted killed?
And even worse, who would do such a thing at a moment’s notice, without giving it a second thought, laugh while he did it, brag about it afterward, and then expect to be lauded as a hero?
It pains me to say that the answer is a soldier in the U.S. military.
Since World War II, the nature and role of the U.S. military has drastically changed. Now, although I believe World War II to be neither necessary (see Pat Buchanan’s Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War) nor good (see my Rethinking the Good War), and although I realize that U.S. troops, especially since the time of Theodore Roosevelt, have often been sent to countries the United States was not at war with, World War II is still a notable turning point. It marks the end of congressional declarations of war and the permanent establishment of the military as the president’s personal army instead of the defender of the country against attack or invasion.
On five different occasions, the United States has declared war on other countries a total of eleven times. The first was Great Britain in 1812 (the War of 1812). The second was Mexico in 1848 (the Mexican War). The third was Spain in 1898 (the Spanish-American War). The fourth was Germany and Austria-Hungary in 1917 (World War I). The fifth was Japan, Germany, and Italy in 1941 (World War II) and Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania in 1942 (World War II).
That Congress issued these declarations of war doesn’t mean that they should have been issued. It just means that it was recognized that a major military engagement called for a real declaration of war by the Congress according to Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution.
The Founders were united on keeping the power to instigate war out of the hands of the executive. I have given Jefferson’s thoughts on the matter here. The reason for this limitation can be seen in a letter from Madison to Jefferson: “The constitution supposes, what the History of all Governments demonstrates, that the Executive is the branch of power most interested in war, and most prone to it. It has accordingly with studied care vested the question of war in the Legislature.”
The executive power of the king of Great Britain to wage war at the time of the American Revolution should be contrasted with the limitation of the U.S. president’s power under the Constitution. As relayed by constitutional scholar Edwin Vieira, Sir William Blackstone explained in his Commentaries on the Laws of England that the English king was “the generalissimo, or the first in military command within the kingdom” and exercised “the sole prerogative of making war and peace,” “the sole power of raising and regulating fleets and armies,” and “the sole supreme government and command of the militia.” In the Constitution, the powers the king could exercise were assigned to Congress. As found in Article I, Section 8, the Congress has the power

- To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces
- To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions

It was not copyright violations that prompted the hosting service Burst.net to pull more than 73,000 blogs offline earlier this month. It was al-Qaeda, the phony terror group created by the CIA.

“The site was shut down after FBI agents informed executives of Burst.net, Blogetery’s Web host, late on July 9 that links to al-Qaeda materials were found on Blogetery’s servers, Joe Marr, chief technology officer for Burst.net,” told CNET [1]. “Sources close to the investigation say that included in those materials were the names of American citizens targeted for assassination by al-Qaeda. Messages from Osama bin Laden and other leaders of the terrorist organization, as well as bomb-making tips, were also allegedly found on the server.”
The FBI did not order Burst.net to pull the plug. Marr said a Burst.net employee erred in telling Blogetery’s operator and members of the media that the FBI had ordered it to terminate Blogetery’s service. He said Burst.net did that on its own, according to CNET.

We have often heard reference made to President Eisenhower’s so-called farewell warning to the nation, about the military-industrial complex, upon his leaving office in 1961.
Upon closer examination of that speech, both what it did and did not say, we find that very likely he should have referred to it, more appropriately, as the “Military Industrial Congressional Complex, ” as, he apparently really meant. At least, as the following reference would seem to infer.
“In this speech Eisenhower identifies for the first time a group called the military-industrial complex. The speech was written for him by Malcolm Moos of Johns Hopkins University. Initially Moos had used the phrase “Military Industrial Congressional Complex”. Eisenhower was advised not to link members of Congress with this conspiracy. He accepted this advice but the fact remains, Eisenhower believed that certain members of Congress were being paid by the armaments industry to maintain these high-levels of defence spending. For example, when Eisenhower left office in 1960 military spending amounted to 77% of all federal spending.”

Apnews.myway.com reported on President Obama’s weekly radio address this past Saturday saying, “President Obama said the GOP leadership has chosen to “filibuster our recovery and obstruct our progress” by blocking votes on agenda items the president says would breathe life into the economic recovery.”
Hearing President Obama once again blaming the Republicans for a lifeless economic recovery, when he holds all the power in Washington and is calling all the shots, I couldn’t help coming up with the following absurd scenario to highlight how I believe a lot of people probably feel about our president these days:
Barely clinging to life after numerous resuscitation attempts, the gravely ill patient lies helpless on an ER gurney at the mercy of the attending young intern.

This financial bull horn should have brought half a dozen officials at a gallop, but none of the hounds of justice showed nose for hunting conspiracy. They lend considerable weight to the increasingly plausible theory that they are in league with the conspirators.
As if the blunt fact that people were betting something bad was going to happen were not bad enough, there was the emphatic coding, just what you would expect from cutthroat gangsters. The H-town area code, 713, was matched by the bizarre 713 put options effected on 7/13 (713).

It never ceases to amaze me that we watch baseball games in which players and coaches use weird hand signals, watch football games in which they bark number-filled nonsense, watch shows about prison or street gangs (which all use secret codes to communicate), then stare dumbly at anybody suggesting that the elites of Europe and America have their little clubs and codes, too.

For recording this video with his helmet camera of an irate and possibly out-of-control State Trooper, 25-year-old Maryland Air National Guard staff sergeant Anthony Graber is facing 16 years in prison.
Graber was cut off in traffic and stopped by the gun-wielding plainclothes officer after speeding down Interstate 95 in Maryland on his motorcycle. He was, rightly, charged with speeding. But state police didn’t like the fact that Graber posted his video on YouTube.
So in April state police raided his parents’ home in Abingdon, Md., and confiscated his camera, computer and external hard drives. Then he was indicted on a charge of violating state wiretap laws by recording the trooper.

Among the limited duties of the US Government enumerated in the federal Constitution is Article. IV. Section. 4. “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.” However, for several decades now, the federal government in Washington, D.C., has shown great ambition and propensity to engage in activities to which it was never authorized, and to ignore those responsibilities with which it is specifically charged. The responsibility of the federal government to protect each State against invasion is a classic example of the latter.
Can anyone deny that the states on the US southern border (California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas) are being invaded by an ongoing onslaught of illegal aliens (many of whom are violent and dangerous criminals)? Somewhere between 12 and 30 million illegals now reside in the US. The entire country is feeling the effects of this invasion, but the Border States are literally under siege. And not only does the federal government do nothing to protect the states against this invasion, it actively wars against states such as Arizona when they attempt to protect themselves. Yes, I am saying it: the Washington, D.C., lawsuit against the State of Arizona’s immigration laws should be regarded as an act of war against the State of Arizona in particular, and against the states general in principle.

Following the censorship and deletion from YouTube of a viral upload of Alex Jones’ seminal documentary, ‘The Obama Deception’, as well as a surge in google searches of the term, it has now become clear that the search engine giant is blocking specific terms related to the film.
As we reported Friday, the term ‘Obama Deception’ had surged to number one on the Google trends rankings [3], above Lindsay Lohan, the BP Oil Spill or the death of George Steinbrenner. What’s more, the viewcount grew by nearly 100,000 in that same single day, demonstrating the accelerated attention the film has been receiving.
Then suddenly the version of the documentary that had 6.5 million views and was linked to from all over the Internet was deleted, presumably by someone at YouTube or Google who had overriding access to the user account.

From a political and public relations perspective, the most troubling testimony to the Obama White House so far from Rod Blagojevich’s criminal corruption trial was the surprise revelation that on election eve 2008, Barack Obama, confident he would win the White House on Nov. 4, called Illinois SEIU union leader Tom Balanoff to discuss the Illinois Senate seat he would soon be vacating.
In that call, Obama mentioned Valerie Jarrett as a possible replacement saying at the same time he would prefer she work with him in the White House.
Balanoff testified that at the conclusion of the call he told Obama he would call Blagojevich — and went on to have a Nov. 6 meeting with him to recommend Jarrett for the seat. When Blagojevich brought up getting a Cabinet post, Balanoff told him, “that’s not going to happen.” Balanoff and Jarrett met Nov. 7; by Nov. 9, Jarrett had dropped her interest in being a senator and signed on as a White House senior adviser.

“I’ve been occasionally watching Glenn Beck on the Fox News Channel and think he has done an admirable job of smoking out and identifying the shockingly hardcore, radical socialists who dominate the Obama administration.
He has also done a generally good job talking about the libertarian founding principles of America, how they have been lost, and our duty to regain them. But he has been absolutely abysmal when discussing the subject of Lincoln, the War to Prevent Southern Independence, and its legacy.
I suspect that the reason for this disconnect with historical reality is that:
1) The Fox News Channel is essentially a propaganda arm of the neoconservative political cabal that has captured the Republican Party;
2) One of the cornerstones of neocon ideology is Lincoln idolatry and hatred of the South and Southerners. (Professor Paul Gottfried, for one, has written extensively about this.)
3) Therefore, if Glenn wants to keep his gig at Fox, he must toe the party line on Lincoln. Being otherwise libertarian – while the Democrats are in power – serves the purposes of the neocon cabal nicely.”

During a tearful and passionate speech at his “American Revival” meeting in Salt Lake City on Saturday, Fox News host Glenn Beck revealed that he may be going blind.
During his speech (video below), Beck told the audience, “I can’t focus my eyes.”
Taking a shot at health care reform, Beck said, “I went to the best doctor I could find, while I could still go to the best doctor I can find.”
Beck, 46, says he has been diagnosed with macular dystrophy, and joked that the doctor told him, “You could go blind in the next year . . . or you might not.”

Is there a single American who secretly thinks Obama’s up to the task of the presidency? Or, does anyone believe Barack does not take bad situations and worsen them to magnify his power? These are rhetorical questions, of course. The only way Barack is an acceptable president is if you’re an opponent of America’s greatest achievements.

Therefore, if you support Obama it means you want to revolutionize the US. But no democratic country knowingly elects leaders to debase their country, give away power, bankrupt the treasury, incorporate socialism, dissolve constitutional rights, cripple capitalism, and menace every citizen with reckless policies. That would be ridiculous and anti-American. Barack has done all these things. Therefore, he must be impeached.
Obama’s habit of casually blaming all problems on the sins of his predecessor recalls a quote by Joseph Conrad, “The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.” Similarly, Barack has revealed enough willful stupidity, ignorance, and crafty sabotage to explain every lingering crisis in America; he no longer need invoke the Devil Bush.
Probably most persons presently believe the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue can’t be impeached for anything he has done. Those persons would be wrong. According to a recent book, “The Federal Impeachment Process: A Constitutional and Historical Analysis,” by Michael J. Gerhardt, impeachment is ultimately a political question which cannot be framed off a simple criminal analysis. This essay offers a brief overview of the federal impeachment process and proposes an analysis of Obama’s actions which place them into the impeachable category.

The Ministry of Truth was how George Orwell described the mechanism used by government to control information in his seminal novel 1984. A recent trip to Europe has convinced me that the governments of the world have been rocked by the power of the internet and are seeking to gain control of it so that they will have a virtual monopoly on information that the public is able to access. In Italy, Germany, and Britain the anonymous internet that most Americans are still familiar with is slowly being modified. If one goes into an internet café it is now legally required in most countries in the European Union to present a government issued form of identification. When I used an internet connection at a Venice hotel, my passport was demanded as a precondition and the inner page, containing all my personal information, was scanned and a copy made for the Ministry of the Interior — which controls the police force. The copy is retained and linked to the transaction. For home computers, the IP address of the service used is similarly recorded for identification purposes. All records of each and every internet usage, to include credit information and keystrokes that register everything that is written or sent, is accessible to the government authorities on demand, not through the action of a court or an independent authority. That means that there is de facto no right to privacy and a government bureaucrat decides what can and cannot be “reviewed” by the authorities. Currently, the records are maintained for a period of six months but there is a drive to make the retention period even longer.

There is no question that the United States Constitution was considered to be an EXPERIMENT. The Federalists and Anti-Federalists alike admitted it was an experiment, and it has been described as such ever since. Evidently, Americans use the term not knowing what it actually means or implies. So, what was it that made this form of government experimental? Before answering the question, let us initially identify what was NOT unique about the U.S. Constitution–aspects that many probably consider to exhibit the unique and singular greatness of the U.S. Constitution, but in reality, are not unique at all and were in fact borrowed.
First, the separation of powers in the federal government was not new. That element of government had been around literally since Moses governed Israel in Canaan. Great Britain exercised a separation of powers as well: executive power in the Monarch, legislative power in Parliament and judicial power in the courts.
Second, that the form was a democratic-republic was not new. The European states and countries had exercised self-government to a greater degree than just about any other people in the history of the world. Thirdly, the experiment was not in having a bill of rights. Such an acknowledgement of people’s rights had existed in the European countries since the Magna Charta in 1215. Neither did the experiment lie in such components as term limits, voting, limited government authority, a two-house congress and the like. All of these had been well established throughout the governments of the world. All of those aspects were a given, but were only debated in terms of preference and compromise.

A Note on This Project
“Top Secret America” is a project nearly two years in the making that describes the huge national security buildup in the United States after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
When it comes to national security, all too often no expense is spared and few questions are asked – with the result an enterprise so massive that nobody in government has a full understanding of it. It is, as Dana Priest and William M. Arkin have found, ubiquitous, often inefficient and mostly invisible to the people it is meant to protect and who fund it.
The articles in this series and an online database at topsecretamerica.com depict the scope and complexity of the government’s national security program through interactive maps and other graphics. Every data point on the Web site is substantiated by at least two public records.
Because of the nature of this project, we allowed government officials to see the Web site several months ago and asked them to tell us of any specific concerns. They offered none at that time. As the project evolved, we shared the Web site’s revised capabilities. Again, we asked for specific concerns. One government body objected to certain data points on the site and explained why; we removed those items. Another agency objected that the entire Web site could pose a national security risk but declined to offer specific comments.
