Cameraman arrested for calling cops Nazis

On Tuesday, August 17th 2010 at around 7:45pm I returned home to find one cop interrogating a woman who was apparently pulled over across from my driveway. I got out my video camera to record the incident happening across the street from within my garage.

I was leaning on the back of my car in garage to steady the picture and recorded for several minutes. Two more patrol cars, now totaling three, had arrived.The lady was standing outside her car, looking quite distressed at the situation. Cops then begin to search her vehicle and then let her go. One of the officers asked if I was “enjoying myself” from the road. I told him “you are a Nazi”. He cupped an ear like he couldn’t hear me, so I said it louder, “you’re a Nazi”.

One officer then pointed at me and said, “Arrest him for interfering”. Even though their traffic stop was complete and the lady driver was back in her vehicle preparing to leave. The cops were also preparing to leave when I spoke this.Then he and his cohorts came up my driveway and into my garage. I told them all to leave and that they were not welcome. I repeated it several ways such as, “you are trespassing”, “leave my property”, etc…One of three officers asked for my ID and I stated that I was on my property and had committed no crime. He quickly became aggressive and intimidating… belligerently pointing “I am a cop.

“Where are the Republican leaders who will reject pandering and prejudice?” wailed The Washington Post in its most recent editorial in support of Cordoba House mosque near Ground Zero.Like the controversy over the mosque, the Post editorial reveals the two Americas we have become, uncomprehending of and hostile to each other, even as we drift apart.

To the Post, opposition boils down to three arguments, all of them “objectionable.” The first is a wrong-headed belief “that the terrorists who destroyed the World Trade Center and killed almost 3,000 people there in 2001 really did represent Islam.”The second is that, as many families of 9/11 victims associate the terrorists with Islam, to build a mosque near the scene of the massacre would be sacrilegious and wounding.The third is cynical politics. As two-in-three Americans oppose the mosque, siding with them and savaging supporters of Cordoba House is to run unconscionably with the crowd.None of these arguments is acceptable, says the Post, for they represent misunderstanding, prejudice or “repugnant” politics.What the Post is saying is that opponents of the mosque are all either bigoted ignoramuses or political panderers.

Judges told they should resolve eligibility dispute

A district court’s ruling in a dispute over Barack Obama‘s eligibility to be president, if allowed to stand, would strip minorities in the United States of “all political power” and leave the laws to be based “upon the whims of the majority,” according to a new filing in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The brief was filed by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, who is representing Wiley S. Drake, who was a vice presidential candidate on the 2008 ballot in California, and Markham Robinson, an elector from the state.The case also involves a long list of additional plaintiffs, including ambassador Alan Keyes, and they are being represented by California attorney Orly Taitz and are filing their pleadings separately from those on behalf of Drake and Robinson.

I am referring to S.3081, a bill that would authorize the federal government to detain American citizens indefinitely without trial, and S.3002, a bill that would authorize the federal government to regulate vitamins, minerals, and virtually all health and natural food products.

According to Examiner.com, “John McCain introduced a bill into the U.S. Senate which, if passed, would actually allow U.S. citizens to be arrested and detained indefinitely, all without Miranda rights or ever being charged with a crime.

“The Examiner report continued by saying “This bill, introduced by McCain, who despite overwhelming evidence, claims to be a ‘conservative,’ would not only take away our right to a trial, but would also allow the federal government to arrest and imprison anyone the current administration deems hostile.

Cash-Strapped Philly: Bloggers Must Pay For Business License

“It sounds ridiculous,” blog and social media author Debbie Weil told the Daily News. “Does the city have the resources to go after every blogger? I’m not sure they understand the difference between blogging for business and personal satisfaction.”Joey Sweeney, editor of the Philadelphia nightlife and gossip blog Philebrity.com told the Daily News that the site had already acquired the business license.

“Since our business model relies on advertising sales, it makes complete sense that we’d need a business license, as we’re in business every bit as much as a corner store,” said Sweeney. “However, where people who mostly blog as a hobby and are making little to no money at all via their online pursuits, it doesn’t really seem fair.” These business privilege taxes and licenses are far from popular in Philadelphia. That’s it!? Is this a joke?”No, it’s no joke.

Paul Hsieh wrote an excellent article about America‘s weakness in regards to the war against terrorists. However, he claimed that the mosque is distracting us from the real issue of Iran‘s nuclear weapons program. I respectfully disagree.

When Barack stated Muslims had a right to build a Mosque on Twin Tower scorched earth, he accidentally revisited a key American Revolutionary debate: Does a king have a divine right from God to act as he pleases? Or, were the Founders correct claiming a Natural Law existed over all human decisions, judging each act?

I also verified that Barack Obama Sr. appeared in the Polk’s Directory. I looked for the name “Lolo Soetoro,” but I never did find a record of him in the directories I looked at. However, from the passport information that was recently released as a result of the Chris Strunk FOIA request, it appears that Lolo was in Honolulu as early as 1962.

Barack Obama’s naive statements on the Ground Zero mosque have brought new energy to the debate over his religious affiliations.Yahoonews.com reports, in part, that nearly one in five Americans believe that Obama is Muslim: Ref 1

“Nearly one in five Americans incorrectly believe President Obama is Muslim, according to a new poll from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. That total, 18 percent, is up from 11 percent in Pew’s March 2009 survey. “While the view that Obama is Muslim is more widespread among those who identify as Obama’s ideological opponents, the survey found that a growing number of independents also believe the myth, up 8 percent from 2009.”

Note that the word “incorrectly” as used in the Yahoo.news story is not necessarily true.Consider Obama’s actions since 1/20/09: Immediately called for shut down of GITMO Called for terrorists to be tried by civilian juries, rather than military, including Miranda rights and other rights conferred on citizens. Once in office, rushed off to a Muslim nation to deliver a speech in which he declared that America is “not” a Christian nation. Changed policy toward Israel such that that nation is treated like a gang of terrorists.

Supports, or at least does not oppose, the mosque at Ground Zero.

For Christian parents and students, this should be a matter of deep concern and active awareness. The secularization of most educational institutions is an accomplished fact. Indeed, many college and university campuses are deeply antagonistic to Christian truth claims and the beliefs held by millions of students and their families.

Furthermore, the leftist bent of most faculty is well-documented, especially in elite institutions and within the liberal arts faculties. On many campuses, a significant number of faculty members are representatives of what has been called the “adversary culture.” They see their role as political and ideological, and they define their teaching role in these terms. Their agenda is nothing less than to separate students from their Christian beliefs and their intellectual and moral commitments.A good many of these professors deny this agenda, but from time to time the mask is removed. Writing at the “University Diaries” column at the site InsideHigherEd.com, a professor of English revealed this agenda with amazing candor.

Responding to an argument about the power of intellectual elites, this professor dropped any effort to hide the real agenda:“We need to encourage everyone to be in college for as many years as they possibly can,” this professor wrote, “in the hope that somewhere along the line they might get some exposure to the world outside their town, and to moral ideas not exclusively derived from their parents’ religion. If they don’t get this in college, they’re not going to get it anywhere else.”This professor minces no words.

The college experience, the argument goes, is the best and perhaps last opportunity for someone to break students’ commitments to the moral convictions “derived from their parents’ religion.”

How many times have we heard and read references and allusions made as to the insatiable desire of the Marines for publicity. Marines usually just shrug this off, deny or ignore it, or sometimes attempt to explain away this accusation. Too often we just look upon things of this nature assuming it to be just a case of professional jealousy, etc. But many of us may be unaware of certain facts relating to this particular controversy. Can this be something more than just simple inter-service rivalry?

U.S. government spending is out of control, and much of it swirls down the military’s bottomless sinkhole. The FY 2010 federal budget is $3.55 trillion, of which $663.7 billion 18.74% is earmarked for the Department of Defense.

The U.S. spends 4.3% of its GDP on defense, more than double that of our nearest competitor, China 2.0%. With 4.5% of the planet’s population, we account for over 40% of world military expenditures. As a country, we are $14 trillion in debt.Many defenders of our global military posture and permanent War on Terror insist that every penny spent on defense is not merely justified, it’s sacrosanct.

This is madness. By trimming the fat, we could cut defense outlay significantly without adversely impacting national security.It is therefore in the name of fiscal responsibility that I call for abolishing the United States Marine Corps USMC, which is operationally obsolete.This will be anathema to those who cherish the USMC’s unquestionably heroic history from 1775 through the Pacific campaign of World War II, from Korea to Vietnam to Beirut, and in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in Kuwait/Iraq during the early 1990s.

But the primary purpose of marines is to serve as an amphibious assault force. And when was the last time U.S. Marines got their feet wet? Since November 2001, we’ve been waging a never-ending War on Terror in Afghanistan, which is landlocked, and since 2003 another in Iraq, which has a coastline measuring all of 36 nonstrategic miles. For comparison, the main part of San Francisco Bay is 60 miles north-to-south.

The Marines are valiant warriors, but given our current geopolitical doctrine, their mission is irrelevant. The costly concept of a separate, redundant marine branch has outlived its usefulness.

Former Governor still fuming over feds’ attempt to block him from filming at JFK memorial on political grounds

In an exclusive new video for Prison Planet.tv subscribers, former Governor Jesse Ventura warns that Homeland Security is rapidly becoming the American Gestapo, as Ventura still fumes over the fact that the feds tried to stop him from filming the JFK memorial at Arlington Cemetery.

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura visited Austin, Texas last week to work on the next season of his hit TV show “Conspiracy Theory.” Alex Jones had a chance to catch up with the governor while driving around for the shoot.

While the show is top secret until it airs, Jesse did disclose some of the harassment he and his crew have received during production, including being barred by the Army from filming Kennedy’s eternal flame at Arlington National Cemetery.

When Ventura’s production team attempted to go through the proper channels to get permission to film the JFK memorial, they were refused on the basis that that the Army didn’t like the content of Ventura’s show. They were also lied to when the feds told Ventura that the Kennedy family held jurisdiction over who was allowed to film the memorial, a claim vehemently denied by a Kennedy family spokesman.

Ventura refuses to let the issue drop and is calling for the individual who made the decision to be fired on the basis that he is allowing his personal political viewpoints to interfere with his job.

Ventura also gives Alex his thoughts on Homeland Security’s takeover of the United States as well as TSA’s implementation of mandatory body scanners in airports across the nation. The former governor discusses how difficult it was merely to hire a boat to do some filming on an island, because all the captains were frightened that Homeland Security would revoke their licenses if they put a foot out of line. Ventura now fears that the DHS will become the American Gestapo as the implementation of martial law accelerates.

“I’m viewing Homeland Security and what I’m seeing out of them – they’re supposed to be there for our protection – I’m now referring to them as the Gestapo, they could evolve into the United States Gestapo, I can see that on the horizon,” said Ventura.

Meanwhile, Ventura comments, Wall Street bankers, Blackwater mercenaries (now Xe) and diplomats all carry out their actions with impunity as the American people are ruled by a fully-integrated surveillance system.

According to The Korea Times, the Obama administration has blocked efforts by the South Korean government to sell over a hundred thousand surplus M1 Garand and Carbine rifles into the United States market. These self-loading were rifles introduced in 1926 and 1941.

As rifles, they are especially well-suited to community defense in an emergency, as in the cases of community defense following Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Along with AR-15 type rifles, the M1 rifles are the quintessential firearms of responsible citizenship, precisely the type of firearms which civic responsibility organizations such as the Appleseed Project teach people how to use.

According to a South Korean official, “The U.S. insisted that imports of the aging rifles could cause problems such as firearm accidents. It was also worried the weapons could be smuggled to terrorists, gangs or other people with bad intentions.”

Regarding the second objection, any firearm lawfully imported into the United States would eventually be sold by a Federal Firearm Licensee who, pursuant to the background check system imposed by Congress (and endorsed by the NRA) would have to contact federal or state law enforcement to verify that the gun buyer is not prohibited from possessing firearms.

Accordingly, the risk that the South Korean surplus guns might fall into the hands of gangsters or other bad people is exactly the same as with the sale of any other retail firearm in the United States. Notably, neither the M1 Garand nor the M1 carbine are concealable, and the M1 Garand is long, heavy, and bulky. Accordingly, the criminal utility of such guns is relatively low.

The second Obama administration objection is accidents. But in fact, increasing gun density in the United States has been associated with steeply declining rates of gun accidents. In 1948 there were .36 guns per person. (That is, about one gun for every three Americans.) By 2004, there was nearly one gun for every American. In 1948, there were 1.6 fatal gun accidents per 100,000 persons. By 2004, the rate had fallen by 86%, so that there were .22 fatal accidents per 100,000 persons. (For underlying data, see Appendix B of my amicus brief in Heller.)

Legally, it is indisputable that the guns are importable. Being over 50 years old, the rifles are automatically “Curios and Relics” according to federal law. 27 CFR section 478.11. Accordingly, they are by statutory definition importable. 18 USC section 925 (e)(1). Notwithstanding the law, the Obama administration has the ability to pressure the South Korean government to block the sale of the guns.

Essentially, billions of people are able to snap or otherwise shoot the least bit interesting thing that happens at a moment’s notice.So with all this gear in use, I’m wondering, why has no one captured clear and unambiguous evidence of UFOs from outer space?

Peter Stark’s Terrifying Revelation

Democratic Congressman Pete Stark has become a YouTube sensation in past weeks. When confronted by tough questions from his constituents resorted to sarcasm and condescension. His pompous manner is utterly revolting to watch, but it was something he said at a Town Hall meeting in Wayward CA on 7/24/10 that was nothing short of frightening.

Mr. Stark was quoted as saying that “healthcare is now a right rather than a privilege” which prompted a woman at the meeting to bring up the following question. ‘If the government can force healthcare upon the masses, and make it compulsory for physicians to treat any and all patients, then what can’t they do?’

The woman goes so far as to say that it infringes upon the 13th amendment, which banned slavery, because the government is in essence enslaving the doctor to treat whomever they tell him to. She proceeds to ask “if this legislation healthcare is constitutional, then what limitations are there on the Federal Government’s ability to tell us how to run our private lives”?

One would expect Mr. Stark to dodge the question with some crafty politically correct answer. However, his response was quite the opposite. “Yes, the Federal Government can do most anything in this country”, was Mr. Stark’s reply.

This statement was met with a smattering of boos by those present and understandably so. But do people really understand how true Congressman Stark’s answer is turning out to be?

Forget healthcare for a minute, and let’s look at some other pieces of legislation that are flying a bit under the radar. The Obama administration is currently working on a piece of legislation to ban junk food in schools. The law would not only stop schools from serving certain foods at meals…

Most people consider Abe Lincoln to be one of our greatest presidents, if not the greatest president we’ve ever had.

Would you agree with that sentiment and why or why not?

No, I don’t think he was one of our greatest presidents. I mean, he was determined to fight a bloody civil war, which many have argued could have been avoided. For 1/100 the cost of the war, plus 600 thousand lives, enough money would have been available to buy up all the slaves and free them. So, I don’t see that is a good part of our history.

Besides, the Civil War was to prove that we had a very, very strong centralized federal government and that’s what it did. It rejected the notion that states were a sovereign nation.

The people who disagree want to turn around and say, “Oh, yes, those guys just wanted to protect slavery.” But that’s just a cop-out if you look at this whole idea of what happened in our country because Lincoln really believed in the centralized state.

He was a Hamiltonian type and objected to everything Jefferson wanted.

Jurors who have been interviewed so far will not identify the juror, other than to say the juror was a female.FOX Chicago News reported that speculation is centering on juror Jo Ann Chiakulas of Willowbrook, after a second-hand acquaintance said that she has been saying for weeks that she would find Blagojevich not guilty.

Chiakulas is a retired director from the Illinois Department of Public Health.Contacted Tuesday night, she told FOX Chicago News she would call on Wednesday if she wished to talk about the case.

On one count at least, Chiakulas voted with her fellow jurors, agreeing to convict Blagojevich of lying to federal agents.Juror # 106, a black female believed to be in her 60s, is a retired state public health director who has ties to the Chicago Urban League. She has handed out campaign literature for a relative who ran for public office. She listens to National Public Radio and liberal talk radio shows.

The Obama administration has decided to get tough on illegal immigration…enforcement.

The Washington Post reports today that Eric Holder is threatening to sue America’s toughest sheriff, Joe Arpaio if the sheriff does not help the administration continue a second frivolous lawsuit against him: Justice Department officials in Washington have issued a rare threat to sue Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio if he doesn’t cooperate by Tuesday with their investigation into whether he discriminates against Hispanics…a federal grand jury in Phoenix is examining whether Arpaio has used his power to investigate and intimidate political opponents and whether his office misappropriated government funds, sources said.

That sounds serious. It’s not.

First of all, Islam is not a religion, in the sense that the term is commonly understood—so wrapping the Ground Zero Mosque in the First Amendment’s “freedom of religion” clause, is nothing but a strawman, a red herring, a “smoke and mirrors” obfuscation, designed to misdirect and confuse.

The First Amendment does not apply, because Islam is not simply a religion.

Its religious wing is only one aspect of an aggressive religious/political/cultural/legal hegemony, that has been attempting to conquer the world for over a millennium.

Early in his Presidency, Obama assured the world that “Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”Well, sort of, in a way—kind of.

Not really.Names such as Anwar, Khalid, and Shabaz, are conspicuously absent from any roll-call of Revolutionary War patriots, but America did indeed have dealings with Islam, early on.

Obama is hell bent on destroying America’s energy production

While most people have spent the last few days focused on the Ground Zero Mosque, the Obama administration has taken dramatic steps to further damage America’s energy production.In a report released Monday, the administration announced that all offshore drilling permits will now be subject to an environmental review and puts and an end to the 30 day decision process set forth in the National Environmental Policy Act.

At first glance you would think that this is a logical decision in the wake of the BP oil spill. However, the report states that between 1971 and 1995 there have been more than 24,000 wells drilled in the Gulf of Mexico, of which, 901 were deep water wells in excess of 1,000 feet and NO blowouts have occurred. The BP oil spill while tragic appears to be something of an anomaly especially compared to other data in the report.The report also sites the Deepwater EA Analysis which looked at all sources of blowouts worldwide and concluded that blowouts occur on average of 7 per 1,000 well starts, of which, only 21% resulted in any loss of oil or synthetic fluid. Obviously the standards in the United States appear to be far superior to those being used elsewhere around the world.

I was especially moved by your revelations concerning the vital role played by early black Americans in the founding of our nation.I regret that I cannot attend the 8/28 gathering in Washington D.C. which you have organized because I have a longstanding commitment to attend a reunion on that date in your home area, near NAS Whidbey Island, WA, of the U.S. Navy squadron in which I served in Vietnam.

Despite your very vocal support of the U.S. Constitution, Glenn, I remain dismayed at your failure to address the issue of the ineligibility of Barack Obama to serve in the office of president.

I believe this is the core issue at the root of many of our current problems which you have been exposing so thoroughly on your show.

Please have one of your staff read this message carefully. Please also read the attached affidavit which was filed this week by Dr. Orly Taitz in her appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case Barnett et al v. George C. “Patton” Scott, who died Wednesday of an aneurysm at age 71, and I were good friends and frequent liberty buddies while serving together as three-stripers at the Washington Marine Barracks from 1946–1948.

George and I were both instructors at the Marine Corps Institute, then an accredited academic correspondence school for Marines. I instructed first-year college journalism, English grammar, and authored a new MCI course in photo journalism.

George instructed English literature and Radio Speaking and Writing.Because he marched with the grace of a gazelle, he was designated guidon bearer for the elite Barracks ceremonial company. I marched immediately behind him as company right guide , ever-failing to emulate his awesome ballbearing strides.

We marched in rain, snow, and Washington heat in many military funerals at Arlington cemetery–sometimes two or three a day–as well as in presidential inaugural parades and other special ceremonial occasions in DC. This was in addition to our regular MCI duties.

George found funeral details distasteful to him. He became very depressed when witnessing families and relatives mourning the deaths of their Marines.George was quoted several times in his life-after the Corps as saying that the Marine Corps made him an alcoholic.

One late night when I was standing barracks duty, I was summoned to Brinkley’s, the Marines’ watering hole across from the gate, by a fellow sergeant moonlighting as a bouncer.

“Get him out of here before he tears up the joint and gets in trouble.” I proceeded to wrestle a very intoxicated George back across the street to the barracks. On such occasions, he was always beligerent, if not sometimes mean…

he Saudis have unveiled a plan to define Mecca as the center of the world by building a giant clock tower in Mecca.

The Bin Laden group’s Royal Mecca Clock Tower which reads “In the Name of Allah”, aims to replace GMT time, with “Mecca Time”.

The Royal Mecca Clock Tower, which looks like something you expect to pass on the way to Disneyland, like Dubai’s Burj Tower, or its world islands are pathetic attempts to buy the facade of civilization with petrodollars.

The Royal Mecca Clock Tower is emblematic of the inability of the Muslim world to do the hard work of actually becoming civilized. Instead they build Pharaoh-like monuments to their own glory using imported slave labor. And they finance all that using money given to them by civilized countries in exchange for a particular resource that happens to be located on their territory.

A resource that was discovered and developed for them by companies belonging to civilized countries.The barbaric thinking behind the Royal Mecca Clock Tower is that if they build a really big clock tower, it will become a global standard and the infidels will acknowledge the Koran’s Islamic science “zero magnetism zone” claims for Mecca.

That sort of thinking demonstrates a basic incomprehension of how civilization works. It shows no understanding of why Greenwich Mean Time serves the function that it does, which isn’t because England spent money given to it by more civilized countries to build a really big ugly tower that impressed everyone.

50 Impeachable Crimes and Counting

A few weeks ago I wrote an article From the White House to the Big House: 25 Impeachable Crimes and Counting that detailed 25 illegal acts committed by President Obama and his Democrat cohorts in Washington.

It showed a President and political party willing to break the law at will in order to accomplish their political aims.

Thanks to reader contributions and conservative writers around the country, here are 25 more for your consideration.

Whether or not any of these troubling examples will lead to Obama’s impeachment and/or imprisonment, only time will tell. Regardless, taken together they paint a picture of an out of control President who lacks basic American values and has little to no respect for the rule of law.25 More Impeachable Crimes

1. Obama’s term as Board Chair of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge in the mid-1990s where he and his colleague, unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, misused over $300 million in private donations meant to improve the education of minorities. Instead of spending the money on traditional learning programs, Obama and Ayers directed the funds to local community activists who wasted it on trying to “radicalize” the students. An official review of the program found that it was a complete and utter failure.

2. As an Illinois State Senator, Obama directed tens of millions in state money to slumlords Valerie Jarrett and Tony Rezko meant to provide for housing for low income, minority tenants in return for political donations. Due to shoddy construction and nonexistent maintenance, the majority of the units, after less than 10 years of use, have been rendered uninhabitable.

3. Michelle Obama’s politically connected $316,000 VP of Community Affairs job at University of Chicago Hospitals while her husband was serving as US Senator. She was responsible for the design of an illegal “patient dumping” scheme that prevents local African Americans from using the emergency room at one of the nation’s finest hospitals and instead redirects them to community healthcare centers where they often receive substandard and inadequate treatment. The high paying position was eliminated soon after Mrs. Obama’s departure from the university.

4. Millions in illegal contributions accepted by the Obama campaign during his presidential run. Credit card filters designed to screen out foreign money and domestic donors who had maxed out their legally allowable limits, as required by US law, were intentionally switched off. 5. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s ongoing effort to create international small arms accords that will subvert the Second Amendment rights of US citizens.
