Chuck Baldwin — We Hit A Nerve

September 7, 2010 Leave a comment

My column last week announcing my family’s and my decision to leave Pensacola, Florida, and move to Montana must have hit a nerve–and that’s putting it mildly. Between my son, Tim, and I, we have received hundreds no hyperbole of emails. In fact, we have received hundreds of emails just from people who live in Montana.

Altogether, the response has been overwhelmingly positive and congratulatory. But in truth, the reaction was much deeper than that.See my column announcing our move to Montana. Our decision to leave the sunny south and move to Montana has produced an avalanche of responses such as paraphrased, “My family and I were praying about where to move, and now we know,” and “God has already been moving in our hearts to do the same thing that you and your family are doing, Chuck,” and “Make room for us,” and “We just moved to Idaho, so we’ll be neighbors,” and “We know you are following God’s will,” and “We understand what you are doing and are praying for you,” etc., etc. We have received hundreds of emails such as these. As I said in my previous column, I believe Montana and surrounding states is in store for a FREEDOM RUSH. People all over America instinctively realize that things cannot keep going the way they are. The tyrannical tentacles of Washington, D.C., are making life a proverbial hell on earth for people all over the country, and, unfortunately, many if not most states are unwilling to resist the Crown’s excuse me, DC’s evil machinations.

So, in the hearts of freedom-loving people there burns the question, “What do we do?” My family and I have answered that question.

Our move is in response to the direct and definite revelation of God, in much the same way that our Pilgrim and Pioneer ancestors followed God’s guiding light. But, just as our patriot forebears met with intense opposition, so have we. We hit a nerve all right! As soon as the announcement was made, Big-Government loyalists some calling themselves Christians, to boot began attacking me in the most vehement manner possible. The meanest and most cruel accusations, lies, distortions, etc., that one could think of were instantly hurled against my family and me.

Thank God, the faithful members of Crossroad Baptist Church where I pastored for 35 years understand my heart and–though hurt–have overwhelmingly expressed their support and love for us.

The reckoning: This single report could sink Obama’s presidency-Summary explains eligibility issue

September 7, 2010 Leave a comment

There have been billboards, posters, questions at White House press briefings, a long list of “jokes” about it by the mainstream media and a ton of lawsuits and other challenges – including several that remain pending. But, come on, is there really the possibility that Barack Obama doesn’t meet the requirements of the U.S. Constitution to occupy the hallowed Oval Office?

That question and many others surrounding the constitutional issue of presidential eligibility are being addressed in a new, free special report by WND.”The citizens of the United States have a right to know if their president is constitutionally eligible to hold the office,” says the report, now available from WND.”Obama’s hospital of birth, birth documents, passport and Social Security number are all in question, and his legal defense never addresses the merits of the eligibility challenges. Instead, Obama relies on procedural objections and compliant judges to get the cases thrown out of court,” says the report.”President Obama could quickly and easily resolve the issue by releasing his personal historical documents to authenticate his claims,” it concludes. So why hasn’t he?The dispute over Obama’s eligibility arose even before the 2008 election.

Several legal challenges questioned just exactly who is supposed to make sure that a political party‘s candidate – no matter how charismatic – actually qualifies.WND has reported on the multitude of cases and continues to report on pending disputes. The report suggests the issue will have to be resolved in a public fashion sooner or later.

“Despite a virtual blackout by the mainstream media, Obama’s eligibility troubles have spread across America, and public opinion has gradually turned against the president. … More than a dozen U.S. House Republicans co-sponsored a bill … [to] require presidential candidates to prove their eligibility…

A Thank You From Michelle Obama She ate more than cake

A Thank You From Michelle ObamaMichelle Antoinette ObamaFor only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country.

I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242,000 plus a few hundred thou in additional expenses for my vacation in Spain. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven’t lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. We only booked 70 rooms for our friends, staff and family. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times — with our 13-vehicle convoy.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. It costs only $11,500 per hour to operate Air Force 2 and each additional plane for the other members of our party group.

These are only rough estimates, but they are close who’s counting?.

That’s quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet.

I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.

Will write more from Martha’s Vineyard where we will spend our sixth vacation this year with more of our family and friends. With Gratitude, Michelle Obama

Lincoln And The Death Of The Constitution

September 7, 2010 Leave a comment

The Gettysburg speech was at once the shortest and the most famous oration in American history…the highest emotion reduced to a few poetical phrases. Lincoln himself never even remotely approached it. It is genuinely stupendous. But let us not forget that it is poetry, not logic; beauty, not sense. Think of the argument in it. Put it into the cold words of everyday.

The doctrine is simply this:

that the Union soldiers who died at Gettysburg sacrificed their lives to the cause of self-determination – that government of the people, by the people, for the people, should not perish from the earth.

It is difficult to imagine anything more untrue.

The Union soldiers in the battle actually fought against self-determination; it was the Confederates who fought for the right of their people to govern themselves.

Why the Right Fears Transforming America — and the Left Seeks It

September 7, 2010 Leave a comment

The giveaway regarding presidential candidate Barack Obama‘s plans for America was his repeated use of the words “fundamentally transform.”Some of us instinctively reacted negatively — in fact, with horror — at the thought of fundamentally transforming America.

The “us” are conservatives. One unbridgeable divide between left and right is how each views alternatives to present-day America. Those on the left imagine an ideal society that has never existed, and therefore seek to “fundamentally transform” America. When liberals imagine an America fundamentally transformed, they envision it becoming a nearly utopian society in which there is no greed, no racism, no sexism, no inequality, no poverty and ultimately no unhappiness.Conservatives, on the other hand, look around at other societies and history and are certain that if America were fundamentally transformed, it would become just like those other societies. America would become a society of far less liberty, of ethically and morally inferior citizens and of much more unhappiness. And cruelty would increase exponentially around the world.Conservatives believe that America is an aberration in human history; that, with all the problems that a society made up of flawed human beings will inevitably have, America has been and remains a uniquely decent society. Therefore, conservatives worry that fundamentally transforming America — making America less exceptional — will mean that America gets much worse.Liberals worry over the opposite possibility — that America will remain more or less as it is.Two famous statements encapsulate the operative liberal worldview. The first was attributed to Robert F. Kennedy by his brother Sen. Edward M. Kennedy:”There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask, ‘Why?’ I dream of things that never were, and ask, ‘Why not?’”The other is one of the most popular songs of the last 50 years, John Lennon‘s “Imagine“:”Imagine there’s no heaven. It’s easy if you try. No hell below us, above us only sky. Imagine all the people, living for today.”Imagine there’s no countries. It isn’t hard to do. Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion, too, Imagine all the people, living life in peace.”You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will be as one.”Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can. No need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man. Imagine all the people, sharing all the world.”You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will live as one.”Regarding the Kennedy quote, a conservative would respond something like this:

Obama: Muslim Missionary? Part 4

September 7, 2010 Leave a comment

Nine years ago this week, we began to chant: “We never will forget 9/11.”Nine years later, I think too many of us have forgotten, especially those in the White House.Islamic extremists murdered almost 3,000 innocent Americans on 9/11.

Who would have believed that within a decade of that tragic event, we’d have a president who believes, according to his own 2009 Cairo confession and creed, that it is part of his “responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear”? Not to mention his mission to fight for the new mosque near ground zero!

In Part 1 of this series, I began to demonstrate how President Barack Obama is using his special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Rashad Hussain, to “deepen and expand the partnerships that the United States has pursued with Muslims around the world since President Obama’s speech in Cairo.”

In Part 2, I detailed President Obama’s real spiritual beliefs based upon a rare in-depth interview by a religious reporter for a major newspaper publication, including his beliefs about prayer, sin, heaven, the Bible and Jesus.

In Part 3, I explained how President Obama categorically has been prejudicial in his treatment against Christians and Christianity in comparison with Muslims and Islam.

In Part 4 here, I will not only expand on that case but also show how the Obama administration has changed course in just this past year regarding passing anti-First Amendment defamation of religion resolutions, exclusively benefiting Islam and its proliferation while again abandoning the principles in the U.S. Constitution.

In October 2009, the White House rightly opposed the Organization of the Islamic Conference’s an intergovernmental body of 56 Muslim countries push for the United Nations Human Rights Council to adopt a resolution that would broadly condemn the defamation of religion or the defamation of Islam, because it would plunder Americans’ First Amendment right to freedom of speech.Hypocritically, however, as The Heritage Foundation reported, at the same time that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was publicly repudiating that U.N. Human Rights Council resolution, on Oct. 2, 2009, the Obama administration’s “delegation to the 12th session of the council and OIC-member Egypt co-sponsored a resolution on freedom of opinion and expression that contains the essential elements of the resolutions on ‘defamation of religions’ that the U.S. opposed in the past.”

The Quiet Coup

The Quiet CoupThe crash has laid bare many unpleasant truths about the United States. One of the most alarming, says a former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund, is that the finance industry has effectively captured our government—a state of affairs that more typically describes emerging markets, and is at the center of many emerging-market crises. If the IMF’s staff could speak freely about the U.S., it would tell us what it tells all countries in this situation: recovery will fail unless we break the financial oligarchy that is blocking essential reform. And if we are to prevent a true depression, we’re running out of time.By Simon Johnson/snip

The Story of Obama: All in the Company by Wayne Madsen

Excerpt Only…

The nexus of Obama’s almae matres: Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard, as well as that of his parents, the University of Hawaii, in the CIA‘s mind control, behavioral modification, and mass hypnosis projects is deeply troubling.

The fact that Obama has failed to provide a full accounting of his past academic and professional employment history, coupled with the presence of a major CIA presence within his and his parents’, grandparents’, and step-father’s backgrounds opens up the real possibility that Obama was, to use the CIA’s own term, “nurtured,” for a higher calling.

Obama told the nation that his would be the most open and transparent in recent recent history. However, Obama’s biography and those of his parents and guardians are full of more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese. It is well past time for the President to make good on that promise and fully release his past academic, passport, employment, and overseas travel records. After eight brutal years of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the nation was ready for any change. Unfortunately, the CIA, through LOOKING GLASS, MK-ULTRA, ARTICHOKE, PANDORA, and other behavioral science programs were ready to answer the call.

The CIA answered the call with Obama and most of us bought him and his “Hope and Change” propaganda fecundity “nurtured” by CIA programs going back some sixty years…

Why The Fourth Branch Of The US Government Needs To Be Abolished, And Why “Authority” Should Never Be Trusted

September 7, 2010 1 comment

Zero HedgeMonday, September 6, 2010Yesterday we presented Dylan Grice’s thoughts on why economists and their opinions should be summarily dismissed as nothing but mere noise on the steep downward slope of a series of failed “authoritarian” policy decisions, which seek to validate one false choice after another, by presenting a hypothetical and fallacious counter-outcome as a certain reality just consider the “apocalypse” we would be living in if Goldman had failed: of course, there is no justification for this except for what Bernanke et al claim is the one true alternative reality based on nothing but their own conflicted interests, which does nothing but discredit the “science” of economics more and more with each passing day.

Yet in the grand scheme of things economists are merely pawns in the hands of the landed elite: the financial system set only on perpetuating the status quo of capital and wealth reallocation from the lower classes onto itself until there is eventually nothing left, and a government whose only prerogative is to usurp ever more control and authority, until the entire system is one of central planning in economics, social affairs, religion, and every aspect of people’s daily lives, all the while pretending to operate under the guise of a democracy, which, at least in America, died long ago. Today, we present the observations of Bill Buckler from his Privateer report, which picks up where Grice left off and demonstrates why one must not only never rely on economists but on form of “authority” in general. Putting it all together is Buckler’s close analysis at the glue that makes it all possible: the Federal Reserve, also known as the fourth branch of government, and the entity that provides the endless funding for all of the system’s failed policies.

As Buckler points out…
