At the end of July, some of Stanley Ann Dunham‘s passport documentation had been released to Mr. Christopher Strunk by the State Department following a lawsuit brought against the State Department for failing to comply with a Freedom of Information request originally made in October 2008.The released documents indicate Dunham’s husband, Lolo Soetoro, petitioned the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the State Department in 1967 to obtain a waiver to return to the United States to rejoin his wife and her infant son, Barack Obama Jr.As usual, the birth certificate for Barack Obama was conspicuously absent from the documents.
Obama’s birth certificate would surely have been required for Obama to travel back and forth from Hawaii to Indonesia, and it was likely submitted by Ann Dunham for a passport issued to her in July 1965. However, the records for this passport are lost, missing, and presumably destroyed.Although Obama’s birth certificate was missing, an extremely poor and nearly unreadable copy of Ann Dunham’s birth certificate was included with the other documentation.
Thanks to some heavy-duty noise reduction software, and a few tricks of the trade, I was able to clean it up enough to read the key information it contained. There were a number of surprises. Here is the original image.
Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell confirmed to the Pentagon press corps that Defense Secretary Robert Gates called Florida pastor Terry Jones this afternoon to express his “grave concerns” about a planned Koran burning because it could place US military lives at risk.Morrell said Gates placed a call between 4 and 4:30 p.m. today and engaged the pastor in a “very brief conversation.”"The Secretary expressed his grave concerns to the pastor that going forward with the Koran burning would put the lives of American servicemembers at risk, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan and he urged him not to proceed with the burning,” he said.

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel would do a good job as Chicago mayor, President Obama said in an interview Thursday morning, but he predicted Emanuel’s decision about whether to seek the office likely wouldn’t come until after the November congressional elections.
Emanuel is currently focused on his job at the White House, where there is a long to-do list at the moment, Obama said.
The president’s party is bracing for a tough election, with Democratic majorities in Congress at risk. “One thing I’ve always been impressed with about Rahm is that when he has a job to do, he focuses on the job in front of him,” Obama told ABC’s’ George Stephanopoulos. “And so, my expectation is he would make a decision after these midterm elections. He knows that we’ve got a lot of work to do.”Excerpt Read more at latimes.com …
Book burning is despicable, cowardly and un-American.
The bad news: Would anyone believe, in the days immediately following 9/11, there would come a time in this country, when radical, lunatic Muslims would dictate to the American people and its government, that certain forms of protest would not tolerated- and the President of the United States, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, and an American general would meekly acquiesce? Damn it, the AP said it wouldn’t broadcast photos, audio or even a description of the Koran burning.
Even FOX News backed down.
Has the world gone mad?
Americans are finally starting to wake up.
Unfortunately, it took a radical dive in the economy, and an ignorant act of burning the Koran.
Why is it that we are releasing these murderous pedophiles from Gitmo where over 90% of them end up killing more innocence, but this Administration cares so much about some po-dunk pastor exercising his first Amendment rights?
I truly believe this is the start of America standing up to Islam. First it was the WTC bombing in 1993, then the double US embassy bombings, then the USS cole bombing, the 9/11 attacks, the CIA hq attack, shoe bombers, panty bombers, daniel pearl, beheadings, there are too many to list. If our own Administration will not stand up for the rights of its people, then this is what you get, uncontrolled acts of ignorance.
What really sparked this fire is the 9/11 mosque, wow we really are a nation divided.
Here is video of former New York GOP Rep. John LeBoutillier on with Don Imus this morning, where he flat out said that Barack Obama is not “competent” to be President.LeBoutillier compared Obama to former President Jimmy Carter – whom he also said was not competent.
“He Obama has come into focus, and he is not up to being a leader of the United States of America – he can’t do it. But, we’re stuck with the guy. So, we’re floundering around as a country.”
That pretty well sums it up. Our situation is a stark reminder of the consequences of electing a President for any other reason than whether or not the person is qualified, and stands for the principles that have made America great.
Obama does not fit the bill on either count.
That was plain as the nose on your face all through 2008.
“As the November 2nd election draws closer, it appears evident that the GOP will score a major victory.”
We don’t know that yet; this could be the miracle that has always been hoped for!Perhaps We The People are more intelligent than any of us have given us credit for.
Maybe this is the year we are really fed up with this stinkin’ two-party system so-called—two heads of the same coin—the sought after lesser of evils, but always equally evil in one way or another.
Maybe…perhap not..We’ll see, God willing…

The Rev. Terry Jones was a sad-sack preacher, lucky to draw 50 people to his steel-shed house of prayer, when the words “burn” and “Quran” had an unfortunate collision in his limited brain. That he has become an international phenomenon as a result must be a sign the apocalypse is near.We actually have Gen. David Petraeus, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the White House and even the pope pleading with a hick pastor not to burn books.
This is a guy who looks like Jed Clampett wearing a Hulk Hogan mustache, who uses words like “tragical,” who earlier this year launched a “No homo mayor” campaign against a candidate in Gainesville.SNIP SNIPAs much as everyone is blaming him, this is far from his fault. He’s just a prop.I ask you: If a sad little man burns some Qurans in the woods, and the media aren’t there to film it, is it news?Of course not.
We created the Rev. Terry Jones from dust. And in two weeks, to dust he shall return. Then we’ll move on to the guys who plan to run over the Quran at their monster-truck pull. Whatever it takes to keep your attention. It is all so truly tragical. We could help head off such future nonsense if we folded up the circus tent and left Jones alone with his blowtorch and 30 followers.Maybe if Gen. Petraeus told the media that it isn’t Rev. Jones who is endangering troops.
That it is our coverage of Rev. Jones. That without us, this book burning would be little more than a grainy video on YouTube.Put the onus on a responsible party and hope it acts responsibly.Fat chance.
Do you really feel comfortable with Barack Obama as President of the United States? (via ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~)
When it comes to human failings, I always try to be understanding. In fact, readers of my Saturday advice column in the Mail will know that it’s my stock-in-trade. But there are times, I’m afraid, when sympathy fails me and I am left nursing a deep anger which needs putting into words.Sometimes, even those words fail me.

WHY ARE THE STATE DEPARTMENT AND GSA SAYING DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT PASSPORT RECORDS?
by Sharon Rondeau
The purpose of the GSA is “to help manage and support the basic functioning of federal agencies”Sept. 9, 2010 — Mr. Christopher Strunk had filed a FOIA request late in 2008 for the passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro.
When he was denied the records, he filed a request for a Writ of Mandamus with Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg asking for a “Temporary Restraining Order under 28 USC §1651 of the New York Electoral College pending issuance of an order by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia of records demanded of the U.S. Department of State under the Verified Complaint and Petition for Writ of Mandamus under F.O.I.A…”
Strunk later filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Washington, DC on January 5, 2009, which eventually yielded some of the records he had requested.
There is a 30-day appeal period for FOIA information recipients. Regarding appeals of FOIA decisions, the Department of Justice states:
By now most PJM readers have heard about or looked at Atlantic magazine correspondent Jeffrey Goldberg’s scoop of the year — his invitation to travel to Cuba and have an exclusive meeting with Fidel Castro.
The dictator, it seemed, read Goldberg’s Atlantic cover story about Iran and Israel, and requested that Goldberg travel to Cuba so he could talk about the issue with him.Of course, what Castro wanted to really accomplish was to use Goldberg as a conduit for his ideas — to let the world know his most recent thoughts and also to send a message to those considered his long-standing allies, Ahmadinejad in Iran and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. What Castro told them is that a nuclear war between Iran and Israel must be averted and that Ahmadinejad should “stop slandering the Jews.”Was this Castro’s message to Jews on the eve of the Jewish New Year? Has the man who for years backed and trained PLO terrorists during Yasser Arafat’s heyday, and who supported the USSR’s anti-Semitic and anti-Israel policies, actually reevaluated and moved towards a new Cuban policy?
The truth is we don’t know. Whatever his motives, to have Fidel Castro announce that essentially Ahmadinejad is both wrong and probably crazy is some kind of unexpected breakthrough. Goldberg writes:

BackgroundThe White Rose was a civilian resistance organization that actively opposed Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany during WWII. It was composed of students from the University of Munich and their philosophy professor, Kurt Huber. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, lasting from June 1942 until February 1943, calling for active resistance to the Third Reich.
Upwards of 9,000 copies of the White Rose leaflets were distributed across Germany leading to an investigation by the Gestapo. Six members of the group were arrested; endured show trials conducted by Nazi Judge Roland Freisler and were executed by decapitation in 1943.
The story of the valiant White Rose resistance group has been the subject of a film Sophie Scholl – Die letzten Tage Sophie Scholl: The Final Days, Weisse Rose White Rose a chamber opera by Udo Zimmerman that debuted in Hamburg in 1986 to international acclaim and many books, most recently: Sophie Scholl and the White Rose in 2006.The first leaflet from the White Rose read:Isn’t it true that every honest German is ashamed of his government these days?
Who among us has any conception of the dimensions of shame that will befall us and our children when one day the veil has fallen from our eyes and the most horrible of crimes – crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure – reach the light of day?
The President’s serial apologies, bowing and pandering to various unsavory international leaders has gained the most notoriety for his policy approach – giving rise to this column’s characterization of the “Obama Doctrine” as: “Emboldening our enemies; undermining our friends; and diminishing our country.”More worrisome are myriad other steps largely being taken out of the public eye.
Particularly when such actions are taken together, they will have the effect of institutionalizing the core notion behind Mr. Obama’s brand of what his top international lawyer and prospective future Supreme Court nominee, State Department Legal Advisor Harold Koh, calls “transnationalism”:
A new world order in which the United States is simply one nation among many, subject to a higher – if utterly unaccountable – authority. Many of these changes involve the secular strain of this phenomenon and its holy of holies, the United Nations.
Team Obama has made a point of building up the UN at American expense by: legitimating the organization at every turn; deferring to one lowest-common-denominator consensus after another – no matter how inconsistent they might be with U.S. positions and interests; and joining discredited entities like UNESCO and the Human Rights Council.
Christianity is not the creed of Asia and Africa at this moment solely because the seventh century Christians of Asia and Africa had trained themselves not to fight, whereas the Moslems were trained to fight.Christianity was saved in Europe solely because the peoples of Europe fought.
If the peoples of Europe in the seventh and eighth centuries, an on up to and including the seventeenth century, had not possessed a military equality with, and gradually a growing superiority over the Mohammedans who invaded Europe, Europe would at this moment be Mohammedan and the Christian religion would be exterminated.Wherever the Mohammedans have had complete sway, wherever the Christians have been unable to resist them by the sword, Christianity has ultimately disappeared. From the hammer of Charles Martel to the sword of Sobieski, Christianity owed its safety in Europe to the fact that it was able to show that it could and would fight as well as the Mohammedan aggressor. …..
The civilization of Europe, American and Australia exists today at all only because of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization because of victories through the centuries from Charles Martel in the eighth century and those of John Sobieski in the seventeenth century.
During the thousand years that included the careers of the Frankish soldier and the Polish king, the Christians of Asia and Africa proved unable to wage successful war with the Moslem conquerors; and in consequence Christianity practically vanished from the two continents; and today, nobody can find in them any “social values” whatever, in the sense in which we use the words, so far as the sphere of Mohammedan influences are concerned. There are such “social values” today in Europe, America and Australia only because during those thousand years, the Christians of Europe possessed the warlike power to do what the Christians of Asia and Africa had failed to do — that is, to beat back the Moslem invader.

I am listening to Sean Hannity and I’m fuming. He’s defending Gen. Petraeus’ weak-kneed position on the burning of Korans… and Hannity’s not seeing the bigger picture. ”This Koran burning will put our troops in harm’s way!” he screams.
Ummm, Sean, they already are in harm’s way. And no matter how fierce the fight, how dangerous the battle, that’s what our military is trained to do. That’s why they are in “harm’s way”.
On Tuesday, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley called Pastor Terry Jones’ plan to hold a “Burn A Koran Day” on the ninth anniversary of 9/11 “unAmerican.” Hillary Clinton called it a “disrespectful, disgraceful act.” And just this morning, Barack Obama said the proposed event was “completely contrary to our values as Americans.”
He cited local fire ordinances that might be used against the church if it proceeds and called on Jones to cancel the Mohammedan bonfire.Although he tried to stop the desecration of Korans, Obama showed no such concern for the American flag. In June 2006, Senator Obama voted against the Hatch Amendment, a proposed constitutional amendment that read in full:
“The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.” It failed by one vote.In an official statement explaining his vote, the future president said even debating the issue of flag burning was “a disservice to our country” and agreed that banning flag desecration “would destroy part of freedom itself.”He added that he was “hard-pressed to find more than a few instances of flag burning each year” perpetrated by a few lonely souls. This weekend’s happening is the only Koran burning in the country. Dove World Outreach Center of Gainesville, Florida, has 50 members.Obama now states, correctly, that burning the Koran may endanger American soldiers overseas.
But so, too would his decision last year to release up to 2,000 of photos of Americans abusing Muslim detainees, which virtually the entire military establishment said would supercharge al-Qaeda recruitment. He eventually relented. When a Christian pastor threatens, however distastefully, to burn the Muslim scriptures, Obama’s rhetorical condemnation knows no bounds. He even cited local laws police could use against the church. But when the issue is burning a flag or building a mosque at Ground Zero, his only interest is protecting the constitutionally guaranteed rights of his constituents America-hating Muslims and America-hating liberals, respectively.
Throw in a globetrotting childhood being raised by a far-Left mother, the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, more than a decade of drinking in Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s sermons, and his all-consuming obsession with America’s “tragic” history, and one gets a clearer picture why he does not cross his heart during the National Anthem, wear a flag pin, or vote to ban flag desecration. Add to that Obama’s statements about the “Holy Quran” and the Muslim call to prayer being “one of the prettiest sounds on earth,” and the picture becomes clearer yet.Obama does not oppose flag burning, because most people only oppose desecrating something they love.

I figured that as long as the country is focused on book burning, I would throw in my choice for bon fire fuel. Rules for Radicals is the book Zero considers holy and in the long run may be the one book that was the cause of more damage done to our Country, than the Koran ever could be.

The small Florida church that has sparked global outrage with its plan to hold a Koran-burning event had its website pulled from the Internet on Thursday by its host.Dan Goodgame, a spokesman for the San Antonio, Texas-based web hosting firm Rackspace, told AFP the evangelical Dove World Outreach Center church had, “violated the Offensive Content section of its Acceptable Use policy.”
Goodgame said officials from the web hosting firm had spoken with Jones on Wednesday afternoon and informed him that he had until midnight to migrate to another site after complaints about “hate speech.”"It was a fairly short conversation in which we reminded him of the accepted use policy,” Goodgame said. “He Jones said he intended to still post his anti-Islamic messages.”
Although it may be a minority viewpoint among scholars, some intellectuals do not think that talk show host Glenn Beck’s criticism of President Woodrow Wilson goes far enough. “There would have been no Wilson if there had been no Lincoln,”
Professor Marshall DeRosa said at a conference at Catholic University on September 5, 2010. “America has always been imperialist,” he alleged.“McKinley and the Spanish American War referenced back to Lincoln,” DeRosa said, and “Lincoln was revived during the New Deal to prop up programs.” DeRosa, who teaches at Florida Atlantic University, spoke at a conference staged by the National Humanities Institute, run by Joseph Baldacchino.
“Traditionally, Christianity has emphasized humility, which guided the framers,” Baldacchino stated. “Another strain, out of New England, emphasized America as the millennial kingdom.”Although not a New Englander, Lincoln appeared to Baldacchino and some of the panelists to subscribe to this latter school of thought. Lincoln was “the greatest articulator of civil religion,” according to Hope College historian Jeffrey Polet. The old rail splitter, Polet claimed, divided American history into three ages: The Founders The Fall and The Age of [Lincolnian +] Reason.Of the Founders, Lincoln said, “They shall be read no more forever.” Even on the issue that textbooks tell us defined the Civil War, Lincoln could be surprisingly pragmatic.
DeRosa asserts that Lincoln was committed to an “indissoluble union” “even if it meant keeping slavery.” In The American Political Tradition and the Men Who Made It, Columbia historian Richard Hofstadter recorded similar pre-war utterances by the Great Emancipator. Moreover, it should be noted that even Lincoln’s admiring biographer Carl Sandburg called the beloved president a “man of steel and velvet.” Nevertheless, Wilson makes for a much more solid target for historians doing necessary revisions. For one thing, Lincoln not only freed the slaves but desegregated the nation’s capital and government. Wilson resegregated both, half a century later.“We must sacrifice all that we are and all that we have to redeem the world and to make it fit for free men like ourselves to live in,” Wilson said in a 1918 speech at the Baltimore armory. Apparently, he really wanted black Americans to suck it up.
“Wilson gave the finest sermon for what humans are capable of if they are not human,” George Clemenceau, the prime minister of France observed at Versailles. Score one for the French.Malcolm A. The furor over the Islamic center, variously called the Ground Zero Mosque, Cordoba House, and Park51, has large implications for the future of Islam in the United States and perhaps beyond. An artist’s rendering of the proposed Islamic center near Ground Zero.
The debate is as unexpected as it is extraordinary. One would have thought that the event to touch a nerve within the American body politic, making Islam a national issue, would be an act of terrorism. Or discovery that Islamists had penetrated U.S. security services. Or the dismaying results of survey research. Or an apologetic presidential speech. But no, something more symbolic roiled the body politic – the prospect of a mosque in close proximity to the World Trade Center‘s former location. What began as a local zoning matter morphed over the months into a national debate with potential foreign policy repercussions. Its symbolic quality fit a pattern established in other Western countries. Islamic coverings on females spurred repeated national debates in France from 1989 forward. The Swiss banned the building of minarets. The murder of Theo van Gogh profoundly affected the Netherlands, as did the publication of Muhammad cartoons in Denmark,.
Oddly, only after the Islamic center’s location had generated weeks of controversy did the issue of individuals, organizations, and funding behind the project finally come to the fore – although these obviously have more significance than does location.
Personally, I do not object to a truly moderate Muslim institution in proximity to Ground Zero; conversely, I object to an Islamist institution being constructed anywhere. Ironically, building the center in such close proximity to Ground Zero, given the intense emotions it aroused, will likely redound against the long-term interests of Muslims in the United States
LYON, France – INTERPOL has today issued a global alert to its 188 member countries following the request of Pakistan’s Minister of the Interior, and its own determination, that if the proposed Koran burning by a pastor in the US goes ahead as planned, there is a strong likelihood that violent attacks on innocent people would follow.
Minister Rehman Malik personally contacted INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald K. Noble to engage the world police body’s assistance in warning law enforcement of the increased terrorist threat if plans reported by the media to burn the holy book were carried out on Saturday’s anniversary of the September 11 attacks.“One of INTERPOL’s primary functions is to prevent crime, and given that we have been made aware of a significant threat to public safety – an assessment which we share – it is our duty to ensure that we pass this information on to law enforcement agencies around the globe so that they can take appropriate measures,” said INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald K. Noble.
“Although there are currently no specific details as to what forms of terror attacks would follow, what is clear is if the Koran burning goes ahead as planned, there will be tragic consequences, ones which may well claim the lives of many innocent people,” added Mr Noble.INTERPOL has circulated Pakistan’s warning and its own alert to all National Central Bureaus around the world, and also has requested that any country receiving information about a potential threat to public safety contact INTERPOL’s General Secretariat headquarters immediately.“September 11 is a day when the world should come together to redouble our efforts to prevent and fight terrorism, not a day when any individual, especially an American, should engage in provocative acts that will give terrorists propaganda intended to convert September 11 from a day of remembrance, to one of recruitment for terrorists and others inspired to attack the US and other western targets,” stressed Secretary General Noble.
“Pakistan’s actions in contacting INTERPOL to ensure that potentially vital information in helping police identify and prevent any form of terror attack is circulated worldwide are to be commended, and the reaction of INTERPOL and others around the world in response to this planned hateful act should be seen by the Muslim community as strong evidence that this man and his small congregation stand alone,” concluded…

Sheriffs in North Carolina want access to state computer records identifying anyone with prescriptions for powerful painkillers and other controlled substances. The state sheriff‘s association pushed the idea Tuesday, saying the move would help them make drug arrests and curb a growing problem of prescription drug abuse.
But patient advocates say opening up people’s medicine cabinets to law enforcement would deal a devastating blow to privacy rights.Allowing sheriffs’ offices and other law enforcement officials to use the state’s computerized list would vastly widen the circle of people with access to information on prescriptions written for millions of people. As it stands now, doctors and pharmacists are the main users.
In a loud voice, looney-toons style, “DON’T BURN THAT KORAN… THER’LL BE HELL TO PAY!” Oh really… some thoughts on that…
When John Kerry claimed “our soldiers were terrorizing women and children in the dead of night”, did any military spokesman speak with any concern, that this kind of talk may increase the dangers for our military.
When John Mertha said our marines murdered in cold blood, did any military brass denounce his claim as hurtful to our military effort. The answer of course is HELL NO!
“But if we don’t do this right, anger will explode in the Muslim world. If we don’t do things correctly, this crisis could become much bigger than the Danish cartoon crisis [over images depicting the Prophet Mohammed], which resulted in attacks on Danish embassies in various parts of the Muslim world.
And we have a much bigger footprint in the Muslim world.”-Faisal Abdul RaufThe flim flam imam ought to run for congress. It’s just a matter of time before the Democrats recruit him.
He’s a natural master of doublespeak. Rauf issued his warning about inflaming the normally peaceful and tolerant Muslim world right after assuring us that had he the slightest inkling that building a Victory Mosque at Ground Zero would cause upset, he never would have proposed such a thing.Of course, if the Victory Mosque doesn’t go forward, we will be severely punished. Be nice to the jihadis and maybe they’ll behead you last. The alleged constitutional scholar, Barack Obama, is demanding a complete and unconditional surrender to Muslim extremism. Rauf’s right to build a Victory Mosque 600 feet from the 9/11 massacre is absolute and protected by the Constitution.
Presumably, he means the U.S. Constitution. The right of a private citizen in Florida to toss a few Korans onto the barbeque is, however, hate speech and is not only intolerable and offensive, but will cause Islamoterrorists to quit baking cookies and join the jihad. Is there something that won’t inflame the Muslim world and be used as a recruitment tool for jihad? Ann Coulter got it right:”This is what liberals say whenever we do anything displeasing to the enemy — invade Iraq, hold captured terrorists in Guantanamo, interrogate captured jihadists or publish Muhammad cartoons.
“Yet another woman who has more cajones than Barack Obama, Angela Merkel, has had her fill of this insanity. Merkel just presented the 75 year old Kurt Westergaard with an award for what she called “freedom of speech.” Westergaard, whose head is still firmly attached to his body, published insulting cartoons depicting Mohammed in a less than reverent light. The Germans understand a thing or two about crazy cults.

Book burning is antithetical to American ideals. People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation – much like building a mosque at Ground Zero.Excerpt Read more at facebook.com …
The Koran burning and the Ground Zero mosque are the same thing. They are both legal, and they are both wrong. They are impolite, cruel and hurtful, and protected by the Constitution.Good people would do neither. But good people aren’t behind either.Yes, the loony pastor in Florida is wrong to burn Korans as a protest. But, yes, for the exact same reasons, the loony imam in New York is wrong to put a mosque within the blood splatter of Ground Zero.Yet, ironically, the Obama Administration calls one action “protected” and the other “idiotic.”And the same people who defend burning the flag as free speech denounce burning the Koran as religious intolerance. The double standards on this deal are nauseating.First, as to Saturday. In Florida, where a tiny church has threatened to burn copies of the Muslim Koran, a PR stunt has made a flake a star, and brought attention to one more loser who craves it.He claims his Christianity compels him to burn the Muslim book.He is wrong. Christianity compels no such thing.Yes, Christianity compels him – and all believers – to reject Islam as a means of salvation. Christianity teaches that only through faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ can mankind be saved. Christianity teaches that the Koran is spiritual falsehood and confusion, akin to the idolatry and false gods of the Old Testament. But Christianity also teaches a simple standard for dealing with others:
Treat them the way you yourself would want to be treated. Not the way they have treated you – that is the devil’s plan of revenge and lowest-common-denominator relations – but the way that you would want to be treated. And it is clear that no one – including this pastor in Florida – would want a symbol of their faith treated in a disrespectful way. It’s simply not courteous, neighborly or Christian.

Globalists set out agenda to re-brand global warming as overpopulation in bid to impose carbon taxesUN Blueprint: Dismantle Middle Class, Build World Government

A UN blueprint for putting the organization back at the forefront of global governance alarmingly reveals the agenda to re-brand global warming as “overpopulation” as a means of dismantling the middle classes while using “global redistribution of wealth” and increased immigration to reinvigorate the pursuit of a one world government.United Nations Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and 60 of his top lieutenants met this past Labor Day at a secluded Austrian Alpine retreat in a bid to get the global warming agenda back on track after the dismal failure of Copenhagen. The planning paper that was handed out to delegates at the conference was subsequently leaked to Fox News, and outlines a strategy of exalting “global redistribution of wealth” as the basis of the climate change agenda.
As was uncovered during the Copenhagen summit, the program of “global redistribution of wealth” largely centers around looting the wealth of the middle classes in richer countries through carbon taxes and then using that money to bankroll the construction of world government.
As the leaked “Danish text” revealed, the money generated from consumption taxes will go directly to the World Bank, not to developing countries.Under the terms of this proposal, poorer countries will not simply be handed the money pillaged from richer nations, instead they will be forced to accept “green loans” in the name of combating climate change, a policy that would land the already financially devastated third world with even more debt, payable to globalist institutions such as the IMF.
Earlier this year, retired Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Arnold Punaro chaired a panel that helped pave the way for a series of cost-cutting measures at the Pentagon, including efforts to cut overhead and dependence on outside contractors. Now he’s taking aim at something more sacrosanct: Compensation for service members, military retirees and their families.
Thanks to The Winston Group, the unquiet ghost of John F. Kennedy rises from the grave and debates Barack Obama on the utility of tax cuts as a way to jump start a stagnant economy. Note how small and mean Obama seems in his rebuttal.
Will President Obama stand up for the rights on Quran-burning Christians to practice their religion and express their freedom of speech as they choose, just as he intervened in the local matter of whether it makes sense to build a $100 million mosque at Ground Zero…
Pajama Media’s Bryan Preston is reporting that there are fears that a campaign of voter fraud, coupled with the lost of ten thousand voting machines in a warehouse fire, may be threatening the integrity of the 2010 elections in Houston.
Farming Without a License is a Criminal Enterprise

Throughout this nation it is becoming commonplace for state and federal governments to raid food buying clubs, private food co-ops, family farms and even micro farms. The reason these raids are taking place is that the FDA has determined that we are not smart enough to decide what we want to eat. They are making sure that we have a hard time getting food that is actually good for us and fulfilling their public…….
I am dismayed at the lack of understanding of our Western Civilization and efforts to preserve it. It is under attack, being destroyed piecemeal and in detail by “boring Progressive termites” [as Kupelian refers to them]. There is overall wide apathy in society, and a failure to understand the difference between Conservative and Libertarian. There is also a failure to stand by one’s beliefs for fear of being called names like “bigot,” and “hater,” or worse. The name-callers confuse their emotionalism for true reason, intellect and morality.
Most of the present ignorance stems, in my opinion, from a hole in our formal education regarding the historical, philosophical, and religious underpinnings of Western Civilization. Indeed, many Progressives are hell-bent to bury Western Civilization and its foundations the same way the Scipio Africanus burned, buried, and salted Carthage.I regret that more than a few in fashionable society [young and old] chooses to treat me, or other like-thinkers, as they would the Taliban or some other anti-homosexual zealot. They do so because I oppose the destruction of marriage as a Godly covenant solely between one man and one woman for the purpose of family. But, I neither stone homosexuals [or other minorities] to death, nor do I cut off the noses and ears of the unfaithful. I treat women with respect as I do all men, homosexual or not. I have lost friends to AIDS, and I pray for those who struggle with their identity. I am simply opposed to this “red herring” proposal.
So why all the venom towards us Conservatives?
