Americans take heart!
Toronto, Bastion of Canada’s progressive socialism fell to conservatism last night
By Judi McLeod Full Story
Take heart, American Patriots everywhere! Figurative bells began ringing out from the bellwether City of Toronto last night, sounding the clarion call: “Progressives beware!”
For the first time that anybody could remember the penny-pinching, small c conservative Councillor Rob Ford is now Toronto mayor.
Toronto has long been Canada’s center of progressive politics and far left activists had come to regard it as a lock-down state.

It’s Term Limits or Certain Slow Death for America
By Jerry McConnell Full Story
Most, if not all, the grief, antagonism, misconduct, lies, corruption, cheating, intimidation, bribery, and other ailments short of hang-nails and diarrhea on the political scene here in our country can be solved by doing just ONE thing: Pass TERM LIMITS.
Obama may be losing the War on Terror, but his War on the Economy is headed full speed ahead
The Left’s War on the Economy
By Daniel Greenfield Full Story
Obama may be losing the War on Terror, but his War on the Economy is headed full speed ahead. The joblessness, the unemployment rolls and an economic in which the only people still making money are in the government, in public sector unions or on Wall Street is no accident. It was the intended result all along.
What Obama and the Democrats miscalculated is the mobilization of populist opposition and the speed with which the public turned to the Republicans for solutions, instead of treating Obama as the Great Savior for extending their unemployment benefits.

The state of Delaware does not have a monopoly on witches. San Francisco, Alaska, and Florida, among other localities, are all well represented by women of both parties who abuse the ‘privilege’ of being a witch. The state of Kansas has contributed to the coven, with former Governor Sebelius heading up our nation’s Stealth-Care system.

Globe and Mail’s ‘Fat Bo’y Wins
A new wind blowing
By Klaus Rohrich Full Story
Bob Dylan famously (and off key) sang, “the answer my friend, is blowin’ in the wind, the answer is blowin’ in the wind.” It’s no longer blowin’ in the wind; it IS the wind and the wind has ushered in a new era in, as the Toronto Sun’s Sue-Anne Levy likes to call, Toronto’s Socialist Silly Hall. Those sleepy hog town burgers have finally opened their eyes and realized that there was life beyond social democracy and those who paid the piper were entitled to call the tune.
While it wasn’t a clean Sweep through City Hall, eliminating the socialist elite altogether, it was a good start and a promise of a brighter future for taxpayers who had realized that David Miller’s brand of governance was for the benefit of his own leftist ideological allies like public sector unions and not for the benefit of the people who footed the bill for Miller’s largesse.

Tonight 50% of Torontonians came out and voted for their mayoral candidate, a higher voter turnout than we had seen in the past two municipal elections. Tonight Toronto voted for change and elected Rob Ford by 47% of the votes (as of the time I am writing this article) as its 64th Mayor.

Time To Hold Environmental And Climate Doomsayers To Account
By Dr. Tim Ball Full Story
The 1990 Greenpeace Report on Global Warming said, carbon dioxide is added to the atmosphere naturally and unnaturally. They define unnatural as anything humans do. It is part of the theme of environmentalism that humans shouldn’t be here or tolerated only if they behave as they are told. The other part of the idea of unnatural is exploited to keep the people enthralled, fearful and therefore controlled. H.L.Mencken’s comment that, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary” applies and is proof of the political nature of events presented, directly or with implication, as unnatural.
