When Anti-Christ controls the internet

October 24, 2010 6 comments

By Grant Swank

Already the United Nations has put out its bid to control the Internet. Other countries say that the US should not have front seat. But within the US there is already the move to oust conservative, biblical posts and sites.

Google search engine, the largest in the Internet, has now scooped out numerous sites giving forth truth about Islam, the Koran, Mohammed, and the inroad of Muslim implanting in nation after nation.

Google is run by pro-liberal Democrats. Fill in the blanks. The day will come when the Anti-Christ political leader will snuff out all sane, Christian-moral based sites on the Internet.

When the Book of Revelation speaks of the Anti-Christ prohibiting Christians from buying and selling, that could very well be interpreted as Christians “buying and selling” on the Internet as well as merchandising at the local mart. The Anti-Christ, controlled solely by Satan, will attack all genuine believers, killing many. Now this is happening because of the “spirit of Anti-Christ” set loose, the latter predicted in John’s three short letters in the New Testament.

The “spirit of Anti-Christ” precedes the actual appearance of the demon-dominated mortal known in the Book of Revelation as the “beast” — the Anti-Christ in person.

Obama beheads America

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

By Grant Swank

Marxist Muslim Barack Hussein Obama is carrying through with Islam World Rule by destroying the most powerful nation on Earth.

He does this by beheading America financially.

Our economic head is being cut from the neck and it is going on every day and night via Obama’s czar shadow government.

Congress’ Dems join in the beheading by siding up to Obama, not realizing that they themselves are losing their heads.

Ambivalence of War by Charley Reese

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Ambivalence of Warby Charley Reeseby Charley ReeseDIGG THIS”It is well that war is so terrible,” Gen. Robert E. Lee said, “or else we might grow too fond of it.”"War is hell,” Gen. William T. Sherman said to a graduating class of a military school.

So statements by the last of the Christian knights and the first of the 20th-century warriors Sherman was ahead of his time illustrate the ambivalence that war causes. It is, especially seen from a distance or through the sanitized lenses of America‘s lap-dog television networks, an exciting adventure. It is the ultimate sport – the animal kingdom’s most ferocious predators locked in a struggle to the death. Brave young men risking all to fight for their country – or so they’ve been told, though the real reasons are usually quite different. It is a natural impulse to cheer for our side. But as much as I love Lee and despise Sherman, Sherman was right.

The glory of war is all moonshine. It is pure hell. That’s why the American networks censor, without even being told, the ugly images of war. That was the case when they decided not to air the pictures of dead Americans that Iraqi television made available and that were broadcast globally by Al-Jazeera, the independent Arab television network. That was the wrong decision. It is not the job of journalists to protect the sensitivities of people or to participate in American propaganda.

Those ugly pictures of young Americans, their faces mutilated by bullets and shrapnel, are the true face of war. That’s what war is: death, mutilation and destruction. Why hide from Americans what they wanted? The polls say 70 percent or more support war. Well, you should be willing to look at what you support – all of it, not just a censored, prettified version of it.Yes, indeed, it is horribly hard on families who lose loved ones or see them taken into captivity by an enemy that we know is both dangerous and often brutal.

That’s why I actively discouraged all three of my children from joining the military, even though I served in the Army. Politicians start wars, and I no longer trust American politicians to do the right thing. In fact, I’m 95 percent certain that a majority of them will do the wrong thing. They waste precious American lives and think they can get away with it by uttering that awful cliché “our heart goes out to …” What the hell does that mean? Whether your heart goes out or stays in isn’t going to the ease the pain of loss, restore life or heal the mutilated.

After you’ve sent young people to war, it’s too late to be sorry when they get killed.

Communist Party Urges Vote for Democrats

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Disturbed that many on the left have given up on Obama, the US Communist Party urged “progressives” to “not lose faith.” “While some might be disappointed that capitalism is still standing we should not dismiss the very real progress that President Obama and Congress have made toward the goal of its eventual demise,” wrote the editors of People’s World Newspaper, Official Organ of Communist Party USA.

“We would have liked to see a total nationalization of health care, too,” the editors wrote. “But we must be patient. Private insurers are already pulling out of certain sectors in response to the President’s health care legislation. As other portions of the law take effect in coming years more of these private providers will be driven out of the business. And the new rules requiring those with medical savings accounts to get approval from government recognized physicians before they can spend their money deals a significant blow to the antisocial idea that individuals should make their own health care decisions.”“Sure, the stimulus spending should have been bigger,” the editors continued.

“But let’s not overlook the fact that trends have been put in place that will eventually eliminate the dollar as a medium of exchange. This will wipe out the value of capitalists’ hoards of money and level the playing field for all.”While the editors still characterized the historic triumph of communism as “inevitable” they also warned that “a Republican victory in this election will slow the momentum toward the progressive society we have all worked so hard to bring about for so many years. Republican promises to staunch the red ink, save the middle class, and preserve freedom will ultimately fail, but giving them the mandate to try prolongs the agony and delays the arrival of that happy day when the last capitalist is hanged and his wealth is distributed to the masses.”In related news, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pleaded with voters to “return a Democratic majority to Congress so we can continue our work toward a redistribution of the nation’s wealth into more equitable shares.”read more…

Obamas Competing: Who can Spend more of the Taxpayer Dollars on Extravagant Trips?| The Post & Email

WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM?by Sher Zieve, ©2010If her husband is ineligible, is she the “First Lady” of deception?Oct. 24, 2010 —

As Obama & Co. continues to find new and innovative ways to strip the American people of all that they have, the extent of latest vacation-dollars theft by the Obamas is just being made known; although the exact amount is yet to be realized and may be altered or concealed from the American people. How many vacations does that now total for our dictator-in-chief?

This time, Obama’s partner-in-crime Michelle of the now-infamous Michelle-family-and-entourage trip to Spain will be accompanying him to India. So, with both of them competing simultaneously, I suspect we will see massive expenditures from each as their competitive streaks to bleed us dry–in every way they can imagine–continue. Question: Is anyone still wondering why Barack and Michelle are still smiling broadly while the rest of us are ordered to shut up and learn to enjoy our newly-forced and impoverished slavery? Really…anyone?

You might also be surprised how often people get it right. Your best defense against misconception is reading and knowing your Constitution.A lot of people presume a lot of things about the Constitution. Some are true, some are not. This page will detail some of the things that people think are in the Constitution, but are not.One critique of this page is that it is full of nit-picks. Slavery, for example, may not be “in” the original Constitution, but it is in the original Constitution — the word may not have been there, but the concept was. This is absolutely true.

I started posting there because I wanted to do something more than preach to the choir, so I have waded into the belly of the beast. Not a lot of Liberty minded people there. Lots of sheeple being led around by gatekeepers and goats leading them into tangential issues. HELP! Please go and comment on this article and any others you want to chime in on. Thanks!

With No Apologies

The Personal and Political Memoirs of United States Senator Barry M. Goldwater, 1979

http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/excerpts-from-the-book-with-no

Pg. 128: “The CFR is the American branch of a society which originated in England. Internationalist in viewpoint, the CFR, along with the Atlantic Union Movement and the Atlantic Council of the United States, believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”

Pg. 277:

“In its September 1, 1961 issue, the Christian Science Monitor described the Council on Foreign Relations as “probably one of the most influential, semipublic organizations in the field of foreign policy.” The Monitor said, ‘The CFR is composed of 1,400 of the most elite names in the world of government, labor, business, finance, communication, the foundations, and the academies. It has staffed almost every key position of every administration since that of FDR.’”

Pg. 277 – 278:

“In September 1939, two members of the Council on Foreign Relations, Hamilton Fish Armstrong and Walter H. Mallory, visited the State Department to offer the council’s services. They proposed to do research and make recommendations for the department without formal assignment or responsibility, particularly in four areas – security armaments, economic and financial problems, political problems, and territorial problems The Rockefeller Foundation agreed to finance the operation of this plan.

Is Cancer Good for You?

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

After watching doctors fail to cure his father’s cancer and then trying himself to find the answer through six years of biomedical cancer research, Almadeus Star Gioeli immersed himself in classic mysticism.

Years later, during a prayerful fasting retreat, Gioeli finally experienced a comprehensive revelation about cancer that he later detailed in his book Cancer Is Good for You. Gioeli felt that he understood not only the cause and cure for cancer but also the nature of cancer itself.

Gioeli suggests that a toxin-challenged body, which is the result of an unhealthy lifestyle, habits, and environment, is programmed with the intelligence to create a new organ, a tumor, to normalize unhealthy blood chemistry. The tumor does this “by transforming the noxious chemical[s] into a product which can be managed by the other normal organs and tissues or utilized by other cells, organs, or systems.”

“And the product created by the new organ [tumor] may be excreted or secreted out of the blood stream and out of the body. Sometimes, the tumor itself is an excretory organ, which dumps toxins out of the skin or into the bowels,” writes Gioeli. Gioeli coined the term “organomutagenesis” to replace the word “cancer.” “In extreme cases of life-threatening blood disorder or toxicity, the radical biological response of organomutagenesis is predictable.

Organomutagenesis is a biological, programmed process of creating a unique, original organ [a tumor] to correct the disorder or toxicity.“The survival-motivated process has been misdiagnosed as cancer for decades, if not centuries. Malignancy occurs when organomutagenesis fails to produce a successful new organ. Mutated cells, individually or in the form of tumors, are not the cause of death.

They are a symptom of toxicity or other blood disorder,” Gioeli told me in an interview. While detoxifying one’s body to cooperate with the intent of the cells to correct abnormal blood chemistry will improve chances of remission, not also changing one’s life will just increase the problem.“There are limitations to the successful development and ultimate function of a [benign] tumor in terms of quantity of abnormal substrate which needs to be transformed. It is possible for the level of abuse or toxicity to exceed the capacity of a potential tumor to manage, process, and transform.

So This Means We Get To See Obama’s College And Law School Records, Right?

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Right?

I mean, all we now have to do is to run to this Judge in Alaska and point out that if Joe Miller‘s confidential personnel file from a prior employer needs to be made public because running for Senate is so important, certainly we are entitled to more information about Obama than he tells us in his books, right?

From the Anchorage Daily News, Judge orders Miller documents released:In an unusual weekend hearing, retired Superior Court Judge Winston Burbank ruled that the public’s right to know about candidates outweighed Miller’s right to privacy.”I hold that although Mr. Miller has a legitimate expectation of privacy in those documents, Mr. Miller’s right to privacy is indeed outweighed by the public’s significant interest in the background of a public figure who is running for the U.S. Senate,” the judge said.

He noted that U.S. senator is among the highest elected offices in the nation. This makes perfect sense on the face of it.Alaska, here we come.

Fred On Everything ~ Mountain Roads, Take Me Home

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Mountain Roads, Take Me HomeIn the unlikely event that home still existsOctober 24, 2010It may have been the summer of ’85, or may not have been, when I hitchhiked out of Washington, DC, which is the left ventricle of the heart of darkness, toward the coal fields of West Virginia.

I was then on the low end of respectability, as I hope I still am. As a veteran of the long-haul thumb in the Sixties, hitchhiking seemed a reasonable way to travel. As the sun dropped low the land grew rumpled and stood on edge, green and forever with the blue undercast of the mountains.

I saw a man with a lawnmower on a rope, which he paid out to mow a front lawn sloping at a steep angle. He’d pull it back up, step sideways, and let it roll back down for another swath. West Virginia is a whole ‘nuther place, with respect to anywhere.Deep in the mountains we pulled into Bluefield, where I was born.

I forget who “we” was. A hitchhiker’s memories are made of snapshots, visions, anecdotes, and oddballs, none associated with time or each other. Bluefield was poor and bedraggled, a city more at home in the Forties that had never quite left them. Coal dust lay over wooden houses, or maybe it was just the ghost of coal dust past. For someone who didn’t like the modern world, it felt right.I found the hotel. It was old, old and plain, and maybe it didn’t really smell of coal.

It didn’t belong to a chain. I checked in and walked to a bar nerby, where a couple of men in work clothes were drinking: tall, gaunt, angular, with the facial planes of the Scots-Irish. They reminded me of crab fishermen on the Potomac when I was a kid…

Give Obama a Pat on the Back—of Butter—He’s Toast

By Kelly O’Connell Full Story

Obama has utterly failed. He launched an entire presidency upon a tissue of lies, excuses, ignorance and a prickly cult of self-worship. But this proved so unstable it gave way beneath him mere weeks into his tenure. Now he free-falls into oblivion. Future historians might craft “theories”—obscuring his incompetence, blaming it onto outside forces or resolute foes. But those who witnessed his malfeasance know better.

Saving Your Nation
It is a sad commentary, but it’s true. Money runs the political process. That’s why I’m writing a Memo to Voters. Protest carries only so much impact. Eventually, protesters must do something – or, lose credibility – or sound like perpetual whiners in need of government assistance. Conservatives are at a tipping point. WND BORN IN THE USA?’Saturday Night Live‘ demands to see Obama’s birth certificate

NBC comedy opens with ‘Harry Reid‘ making plea: ‘Is that too much to ask?’

Posted: October 24, 20109:44 am EasternBy Joe Kovacs© 2010

WorldNetDaily

The ongoing issue of President Obama’s refusal to release his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate got a comedic jolt in the arm last night during the opening sketch of “Saturday Night Live,” which featured a call for Obama to finally make it public.

The NBC program premiered a skit in which Obama, portrayed by comedian Fred Armisen, was campaigning in Las Vegas this weekend for Sen. Harry Reid, played by Paul Brittain.”Neither of us is very popular in this state,” Reid confided in the president before addressing a crowd of supporters in the parody.”I thought I was,” responded Obama.”It would really help if I could put some distance between us,” muttered Reid, alluding to Obama’s plummeting popularity and not wishing to be dragged down.Get the free, in-depth special report on eligibility that could bring an end to Obama’s presidency

Then, as part of pair’s effort to create “distance,” Reid and Obama got into this exchange:Reid: “On a number of issues, we have number of disagreements.”Obama: “That’s right. We do.”Reid: “For one thing, I don’t understand why, if you were born in this country, you won’t just show us your birth certificate. I mean, is that too much to ask?

“Obama: “You’re right! I probably should!”Reid: “Just seems people have a right to know.”Obama: “You make a good point.”Ironically, the spoof aired just a few hours after a real-life rally was held at the U.S. Capitol, pulling no punches in declaring President Obama an “imposter” and “fraud” who should resign before a constitutional crisis of his own making rips apart the nation.

Turn up the heat! Support the national billboard campaign that asks the simple question, “Where’s the birth certificate?”

Give Obama a Pat on the Back—of Butter—He’s Toast

Obama has utterly failed.

He launched an entire presidency upon a tissue of lies, excuses, ignorance and a prickly cult of self-worship. But this proved so unstable it gave way beneath him mere weeks into his tenure.

Now he free-falls into oblivion.

Future historians might craft “theories”—obscuring his incompetence, blaming it onto outside forces or resolute foes. But those who witnessed his malfeasance know better. What was Barack’s biggest mistake? Laying all his chips on the table to bet on Liberalism. He was either too untutored to know socialism always fails; too cagey in craftily sabotaging Capitalism; not mentally fit for the task, or too indifferent to care.

Take your pick. Since all of Oabama’s possible strategies would still lead to utter failure, it doesn’t much matter. He’s an anti-Reagan in almost every way possible to imagine.Barack willed himself onto the shipwreck rocks, perhaps goaded by self-loathing animated by the secret knowledge he lacks any training or inclination for leadership.

But wouldn’t any Marxist worth his salt agree Capitalism must be torn down and burnt to cinders before communism can rise on its ash?

But what is Liberalism and why did it fail Obama?

WHO IS THE BEAR, AND WHO ARE THE SHEEP?

by Don Hank, blogging at http://laiglesforum.com/european-court-imposes-immorality-on-russia/1973.htm

(Oct. 24, 2010) —

EXCERPT

Thus from about the 1860s, Russia was shepherded into a European-style socio-political revolutionary mindset that paved the way for the actual revolution in 1917.But as with all revolutions, unexpected consequences set in. In retrospect, the revolutionaries should have seen it coming. Older Russians, even those sympathetic to the revolution, always had a disdain for the French and their moral depravity, as evidenced in the works of authors like Tolstoy and Turgenev.

Very shortly after the revolution, this titillating sexual apéritif that had provided a kind of euphorigenic drug, numbing the masses to the otherwise less-palatable realities the blood baths and internecine warfare that led to the murder of thousands, including the czar and his family, was quickly swept away, supplanted by a rigid totalitarianism intolerant of the young idealists and their romantic notions of free love and Parisian-like communes.

Anyone nourishing hopes of restoring the cherished libertinism was crushed. Some went to prison, others were murdered, others simply disappeared…

Exclusive: Stephen Broden Talks With The Blaze About Relationships, Rights, and Revolution

The Blaze ^ | October 24, 2010 | Jonathon M. SeidlPosted on Sunday, October 24, 2010 10:34:11 AM

by GonzoIIAbove

Stephen Broden’s desk at his campaign headquarters in Desoto, TX hangs a painting of a child covered in an American flag. “Have you thought about freedom lately?” the picture asks. Considering the recent controversy surrounding Broden, one could say the answer for him is undoubtedly “yes.”Broden is the Dallas-area politician and pastor who was quoted by local media as saying that violent revolution is an option that is “on the table,” especially if he and fellow Republicans lose in November. But those comments, he says in an exclusive interview with The Blaze, have been starved of their full context, causing a national backlash that has been painfully echoed by some of his friends. The controversy started on Thursday when WFAA-TV interviewed the U.S. House candidate in Texas’s 30th district about some past comments.

Those remarks included a statement in 2009 regarding the way to go about changing inadequate leaders: “We have a constitutional remedy here, and the framers said if that don’t work — revolution.”WFAA’s Brad Watson asked Broden if he stood by the remarks, and reported Broden’s response as follows: Broden said Thursday that revolution, in his view, first comes at the ballot box.

But he said violent overthrow is an option. “Our nation was founded on violence; the option is on the table,” he said. “I don’t think that we should ever remove anything from the table as it relates to our liberties and our freedoms.”Cue all hell breaking loose. Worlds colliding. Jaws dropping. Arms flailing. Cue Stephen Broden wondering how what he thought he made so clear could be portrayed so poorly.Broden doesn’t deny he talked about revolution on Thursday.

He doesn’t deny he said overthrowing the government is “on the table.” He did, and he still believes it. But he does deny that he said such an option should be considered now, at this time, or in the near future. What hasn’t been reported are the words he said in addition to the ones that have now become infamous. Words that make it clear he‘s not advocating an imminent government overthrow or an epic November loser’s party that would end in a power struggle…

WND Exclusive SOMETHING IN THE AIRNo Pledge of Allegiance at debate? Crowd says otherwiseAudience drowns out moderator’s objections that recital is ‘disrespectful’Posted: October 23, 20109:00 pm EasternBy Drew Zahn© 2010 WorldNetDailyAt a U.S. congressional candidate debate this past week, the crowd of approximately 300 in attendance drowned out the moderator’s objections, not to protest over government policies or to argue some candidate’s comments, but to insist upon reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.Illinois’ 8th Congressional District candidates had gathered at Grayslake Central High School in Grayslake, Ill., to participate in a debate moderated by Kathy Tate-Bradish of the League of Women Voters, Evanston branch.During Tate-Bradish’s opening comments, an audience member stood to ask if the Pledge of Allegiance would be recited.”No, we are not,” the moderator responded, “That is not part of the proposal tonight.

“Several in the crowd then began to shout, “Why not?”When it became clear Tate-Bradish was not going to allow the Pledge to be recited, the audience stood and said it anyway. This is still America, so wave your flag! Choose from 40 different patriotic banners in the WND flag store.

The moderator further irked the crowd afterward, saying she felt “disrespected” by being “forced” to include the pledge “in presumably a planned way.”Video of the exchange, taken by an audience member and posted on YouTube, can be seen below:

It was hit by a cyber attack on Thursday.“The attack crippled the site at about 9:45 a.m. just when the fund-raising drive was publicized on the radio by conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. The group estimates it lost about $80,000 in potential donations as it struggled to bring its site back online,” the Wall Street Journal reported.“The precisely timed denial-of-service attack sowed chaos, snarling the organization’s Web traffic and setting off a flood of calls from frustrated radio listeners who were unable to access the site to make their donations. The group estimates the attack cost over $40,000 in lost donations alone,” Newsmax explained.“We think the idea was to take our site down until after the election,” said Kara Pally, web developer for FreedomWorks. “This was politically motivated.”

The Wall Street Journal refers to FreedomWorks as “a clearinghouse for the diffuse tea party movement.” Rather, it should be considered an establishment clearinghouse to weed out Libertarians and other elements unacceptable to the Republicans.

Gunny G: Barry Goldwater, libertarian?…(w/addendum)

Was Republican and Conservative, Barry Goldwater, a libertarian?

“Some sharp words about Arizona’s despicable new anti-immigration law from New York Times legal correspondent Linda Greenhouse: I’m not going back to Arizona as long as it remains a police state, which is what the appalling anti-immigrant bill that Gov. Jan Brewer signed into law last week has turned it into. What would Arizona’s revered libertarian icon, Barry Goldwater, say about a law that requires the police to demand proof of legal residency from any person with whom they have made “any lawful contact” and about whom they have “reasonable suspicion” that “the person is an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States?” Wasn’t the system of internal passports one of the most distasteful features of life in the Soviet Union and apartheid-era South Africa?

In light of Arizona Sen. John McCain‘s recent turnaround in favor of his state’s harsh new law, it’s also worth recalling this observation from McCain biographer and Reason Editor in Chief Matt Welch: Goldwater was never really warm toward his replacement, which is something McCain, to this day in my judgment, has never properly understood.”

D.C. rally boldly blasts Obama as ‘fraud’
World Net Daily ^ | 10/23/10 | Drew Zahn

Posted on Saturday, October 23, 2010 9:13:01 PM by Mozilla

A rally today at the U.S. Capitol pulled no punches in declaring President Barack Obama an “imposter” and “fraud” who should resign before a constitutional crisis of his own making rips apart the nation.

The rally was called by Philip Berg, a Pennsylvania attorney who runs the ObamaCrimes.com website and was the first to sue over allegations Obama is constitutionally ineligible to occupy the Oval Office.

“The main thrust of the rally,” Berg told WND, “was to get out the continuing message that Obama is a phony, a fraud, an imposter, and [his eligibility to serve as president] is the biggest hoax committed against the U.S. in 234 years.”

Berg believes there is enough evidence, both hard and circumstantial, to justify an investigation into whether or not Obama is a “natural-born citizen” as required by the Constitution to serve as president. Berg is looking for a court with “the guts” to demand Obama provide proof of his eligibility.

Berg told WND that though the crowd, which he estimated at a couple of hundred, was smaller than anticipated, he still considered the event a success – in part, because of what he hopes it will inspire.

Voters fed up with Obama’s big, bossy government

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Out on the campaign trail Barack Obama has given us his analysis of why his party is headed for significant losses in the election nine days hence. “Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now,” said the president for whom politics did not seem so tough in 2008, “and facts and science and argument do not seem to be winning the day all the time is because we’re hardwired not to always think clearly when we’re scared.

And the country’s scared.”In other words, the voters can’t see straight. But maybe it’s the Obama Democrats who are so scared they can’t see straight.A third reason is that big government can be overly bossy. Voters who have learned to navigate their way through life may not believe that they need Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to set the terms and conditions of their health insurance policies, as Obamacare authorizes her to do. “Don’t tread on me,” read the flags at Tea Party rallies. That’s not a contradiction of “facts and science.” It’s an insistence that the Obama Democrats’ policies would strangle freedoms and choke off growth. You may disagree.

But if so, it looks like you’re in the minority this year.

America Is Gone

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

America Is Gone By David Deming

There is a whiff of anarchy in the air this morning. As I sit here writing, a conservative victory in the midterm elections looms. But I find no reason to be optimistic. The midterm elections will solve nothing. The plain fact is that conservatives have lost the battle for America.

The country that many of us were born in has ceased to exist.

And we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Nothing can or will change until we come to terms with the grim reality of moral degeneration. And I have no hope that this can happen, save by some terrible trial.

Last week in Oklahoma City, two pedestrians were run down by cars at the same intersection within a few hours.

In one incident, the driver did not bother to stop, but continued driving as if nothing had happened. It was a horrific but perfect metaphor for the self-absorbed entitlement mentality that grips the country.Every day, the news brings a startling new incident of moral corruption. A few days ago it was reported that an eighteen-year-old geology student at Arizona State University had starred in an online pornographic film in which she performed “explicit and degrading” sex acts for a one-time payment of $2,000.

The young woman explained that she needed the money to supplement her scholarship, and then inexplicably proclaimed, “I have morals!”…

The World Has a Muslim Problem

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

World War II was my war. We fought the Germans. They were the enemy. There was a German problem. Of course, if we had stopped to think about it, which we didn’t because we were too busy trying to win the war, we would have realized that not every German wanted to fight us; maybe not even a majority of them did.

But they didn’t oppose the Nazi extremists who had taken over their government and attacked us in the name of German racial superiority. I’m sure a lot of Germans agreed with Hitler.

But those who were against him, didn’t dare speak up. A few did, of course, like the great German patriot Reverend Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He spoke out against the Nazi thugs. For his pains he was put into a concentration camp and died there. Jihadist thugs are now attacking us in the name of Islam. No doubt there are a lot of Islamic believers who don’t support this. But like the Germans in World War II, they are not speaking up… for good reason of course, as there was a good reason back in the days of the Third Reich. But because they aren’t speaking up to oppose what is being done in their name, the world has a Muslim problem.

Everybody knows this.

Not many public figures dare to say it out loud. Some public figures don’t want to know it, much less say it out loud.

‘The Alamo’ turns 50

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

“In San Antonio, the Alamo is venerated as a sacred shrine. But it does not belong to Texas alone,” Wayne told newspaper reporters. “It belongs to people everywhere who value the priceless treasure that has always been bought with blood — human freedom.

“Pilar Wayne says that was no act.”I feel that he wanted to show what America stood for and the courage and the love of the country,” she said. “To him, it was a very important message that he wanted to put out there. Mainly, it was his love of America.”"The Alamo,” which was the most expensive film ever made in the continental United States at the time, opened in theaters the same year as “Psycho,” “The Apartment,” “Spartacus,” “The Virgin Spring” and “La Dolce Vita.”For Wayne, the movie had been an obsession, a 14-year quest.”I’ve got everything I own in it.

I borrowed from banks and friends,” Wayne said. “But I’m not worried. This is a darn good picture. It’s real American history, the kind of movie we need today more than ever.”

Memo To Nancy Pelosi From Cindy Sheehan Cindy endorses Republican opponent

October 24, 2010 Leave a comment

Open MemoTo: Nancy PelosiFrom Cindy SheehanHey Nan,How’s that “liberal agenda” going for you these days? You have had quite a run as the first female Speaker of the House, haven’t you?

In that almost four years now, you have fully funded the wars; rammed through the bankster bailouts and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Modernization Act; refused to hold the criminals of the Bush administration accountable; supported the torture policies of George Bush and wanted even stricter measures against suspected terrorists; obediently supported and defended the murderous Israeli oppression of Palestine; presided over the worst jobs’ hemorrhage since the Great Depression can you see all the jobless and homeless from your mansion on the hill in Pac Heights? and the only “victory” that you can claim is a feeble health care “reform” bill that you admit you had no idea what it contained, when in reality, it was just a massive welfare program for your corporate buddies in the industry.

You are going to become a lame duck Speaker early next month when your party loses its majority–now don’t think I am thrilled that the Republicans are returning to a majority, at least in your House, because I think your party and the GOP are just different sides of the same coin–but you can’t say I didn’t warn you back in 2006 that if you and your party didn’t end the wars and hold BushCo accountable that your euphoria would be short-lived…

Alan Watt: The Neo-Eugenics War On Humanity

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

Alan Watt continues to divulge his fascinating in-depth insights into how culture is created from the top down and used by the elite to manipulate and pervert natural human instincts towards their own ends. Every change in culture, right down to fashion and music, points out Watt citing Plato, had to be authorized and promoted from the top.

This science of mass mind control is still taught today by the insiders and mediums such as television are used as weapons of social control to prevent humanity from ever realizing its full potential.Alan Watt: The Neo Eugenics War On Humanity alan2Watt talks about how the elite technocrats plan for the long term, in 50, 100 and even 150 year cycles in which to implement the different aspects of their agenda, and how each cultural shift was deliberately timed to be implemented at a certain time. The current cultural bombardment surrounds the emergence of neo-eugenics, with big foundations and organizations like the Optimum Population Trust pushing the idea that humans are superfluous, virus-like, and therefore worthless.

Alan Watt: The Neo Eugenics War On Humanity alan3Watt discusses how sperm counts across Europe and America have dropped at an alarming rate of up to 80 per cent over the past 50 years, and how the media’s complete ignorance of this crisis proves that it was authorized as a deliberate program of de-population. Watt traces the program back to its origins in the 1950’s, where synthetic female hormones like estrogen were put in baby foods by companies like Proctor and Gamble, as well as baby milk bottles washed with Bisphenol A, the very substance that attacks male genitalia and prevents it from developing properly. Watt also outlines how Bisphenol A in women’s cosmetic products contributes to toxifying their bodies, leading to an environment for male babies that leads them to have a reduced sperm count or even become sterile. The foundation of the agenda can be discovered in the writings of people like Bertrand Russell and the Huxley brothers, who talked about the need to sterilize the masses as far back as the 1930’s.

Watt also divulges how the elite’s ultimate goal for every human allowed to be born is for them to serve the state and be deceived into accepting this enslavement as a natural form of existence. The elite’s greatest fear is that the “inferiors” will out-breed the “superiors,” which is why they continually push neo-eugenics and are obsessed with inter-breeding to keep their own genetics intellectually pure.

Pro: Clinton’s the only Democrat who can win in 2012

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

EDITOR’S NOTE:

The writer is addressing the question, Should Hillary Clinton challenge President Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2012?The latest buzz flitting among the Georgetown salons is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will switch jobs with Vice President Joe Biden and take his place on the Democratic ticket in 2012.That’s one of the tidbits being peddled by Bob Woodward to promote his new book “Obama’s Wars” and it has Democratic loyalists desperate to salvage a rapidly failing Obama presidency atwitter with unbridled joy.As a rumor,

it’s intriguing. As common sense, it doesn’t pass Logic 101.Why, after all, would the world’s top diplomat want to chug from John Nance Garner’s “warm bucket” when she could be sipping a Pimm’s Cup in the Oval Office on Jan. 20, 2013? With the economy unlikely to have recovered the Clinton-era glow of the 1990s, it’s far more likely that Hillary will challenge Obama at the start of 2012. If she does, that smart money in the Democratic Party will flow into her coffers like water rushing over the Hoover Dam.

Ah, but what about Woodward’s prediction that Hillary will be a good team player and wait until she is 71 to make a 2016 quest for the Oval Office?

Throughout the years since he chronicled the Watergate scandal with Washington Post colleague Carl Bernstein, Woodward has been a font of delicious speculations—not all of them based in reality.

The Jackie Robinson Theory of the Obama Presidency

October 23, 2010 2 comments

Ever since Obama has become president there has been a hyperracialization of every issue of mere politics. The climax came for me when I went to the Tea Party protest down at the Capital just before Obamacare was passed. When I got home I started hearing claims of some kind of racial incident.

You can recognize intellectually that politicians are liars, but to hear them lying about you is another matter, a real baptism. And it made me try to understand where this was all coming from. Now some of it is pure hucksterism. There is no two ways about it.But there is also an honest, albeit mistaken, belief that this is a racial issue. One honest, albeit misguided reason for believing that racism is behind it is that to many liberals, Obama is so self-evidently awesome one cannot rationally be opposed to his policies. But there is one other reason why liberals assume that the criticism that Obama richly deserves is based on race. I call it the Jackie Robinson Theory of the Obama presidency.Let’s go back to Jackie Robinson.

I take it as a given that you know that he was the first black player in Major League Baseball. But he was also something else: a test case. He was brought into the league first because they believed that he had the disposition, class, and intelligence to keep what was important in mind. So if some racist fool dug his spiked cleats into Robinson’s leg, Robinson couldn’t grab a bat and give the jerk the beating he richly deserved. He had to take it, play through the pain and never give back what they threw at him. It was unjust, but at that time it was necessary, and he got that. It wasn’t about him, it was about his whole race. Just as we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ, we can take a moment to recognize another man who suffered unjustly and did not strike back. What more in the name of love, right? And maybe that doesn’t merit a tribute song by Bono, but with his quiet courage, and dignity, Robinson opened the door so that people of all colors could play baseball together.

So is Obama the “Jackie Robinson” of the presidency? In the sense that he is the first black man to come into this position, undeniably. But what about in the second sense, that he is a test case?

“OBAMACON 2012″by Sharon Rondeau

Andy Martin has worked in media for almost 40 yearsOct. 23, 2010 — Mr. Andy Martin, JD, will be holding a “Third National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate, College Records and Religion” in Honolulu on November 9-16, 2010.

The announcement reads as follows:Honolulu, November, 2010: Obamacon 2012Third National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate, College Records and Religion, November 9-16, 2010 Honolulu

Anyone who donates $50 or more to this effort will receive an autographed copy of Andy Martin’s book, Obama:  The Man Behind the Mask, which is “not a biography; rather it is a work-in-progress, as we try to comprehend how Obama rose from the sewers of Chicago politics to being a serious candidate for President of the United States.”

The book can be purchased here.  A biography of Mr. Martin is found here and states that “He specializes in fighting judicial corruption and is unafraid to attack corruption in both the courts and legal profession.”

Martin states that his organization seeks to raise funds to “defend America from all enemies, foreign and domestic,” and adds:

We are dedicated to publishing only accurate facts and information about Senator Barack Obama, and raising what we believe to be are legitimate questions about his qualifications for the presidency.

Will Barack Obama admit extent of Iran’s role in Iraq, laid bare by WikiLeaks?

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

Much of the attention surrounding the WikiLeaks document dump will, predictably enough, focus on a single incident of two insurgents being killed after they tried to surrender to an Apache helicopter and, more disturbingly, the widespread abuse of detainees by Iraq forces, apparently with a blind eye being turned by the US military. Some of the reporting of the documents is distinctly tendentious.

Take for instance this from the Guardian. The headline states as fact that “Apache helicopters kill 14 civilians”. The source for this? A single Iraq informant, speaking to an interpreter for the US military. In addition, an Iraqi colonel said the number was 12.Any journalist who has worked in Iraq and I spent much of 2004 and 2005 there knows that casualty figures from Iraqis were extremely unreliable and often based on rumour, exaggeration or personal/political agendas and prejudices. In the US report, the figures are rightly described as “unconfirmed”.I’m not saying it’s not true that 14 were killed. Civilians die in wars, often in very large numbers, and they certainly did so in Iraq.

There might well have been that number or more killed by US forces that. But we just don’t know and things that we can’t be sure about should not be reported as fact just because we might like them to be true.Interesting to note also to that the Guardian has seen fit to name the interpreter in the incident report, which I won’t link to for that reason.

A couple of things to say about the detainee abuse. Clearly, a legacy of Saddam Hussein’s regime was a culture of astonishing brutality in Iraq. To expect that indigenous forces would somehow adhere to Western standards of due process is unrealistic.

45-Car Convoy, 700 Hotel Rooms, 2 Jumbo Jets For Obamas’ Mumbai Trip

Mumbai trip: The entire Taj Mahal hotel has been booked, the President’s team will have 570 rooms, including all banquets and restaurants, 125 rooms more rooms for Obama‘s security, the 2 jumbo jets are in addition to Air Force One

indiatimes.com

Since Obama is expected to arrive in the afternoon on November 6, and will travel by road to the Taj Mahal Hotel, the entire stretch from airport to the hotel will be under heavy security. To ensure fool-proof security, the President’s team has booked the entire the Taj Mahal Hotel, including 570 rooms, all banquets and restaurants. Since his security contingent and staff will comprise a huge number, 125 rooms at Taj President have also been booked, apart from 80 to 90 rooms each in Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotels.

The NCPA, where the President is expected to meet representatives from the business community, has also been entirely booked. The officer said, “Obama’s contingent is huge.

There are two jumbo jets coming along with Air Force One, which will be flanked by security jets. There will be 30 to 40 secret service agents, who will arrive before him. The President’s convoy has 45 cars, including the Lincoln Continental in which the President travels.”

Since Obama will stay in a hotel that is on sea front, elaborate coastal security arrangements have been made by the US Navy in consonance with the Indian Navy and the Coast Guard.

“There will be US naval ships, along with Indian vessels , patrolling the sea till about 330-km from the shore. This is to negate the possibility of a missile being fired from a distance,” the officer said.

The President will be accompanied by his chefs, not because he would not like to savour Indian cuisine, but to ensure his food is not spiked.

Vision Leads Woman to Paint 1991 Portrait of… 911 Terrorist Attack

In this Oct. 14, 2010 photo, “Saving Freedom” a 1991 painting by Mary Jane Jordan is seen in Roseburg, Ore.. Caryl Jordan Baum, 67, the daughter of Mary Jane Jordan, believes it prophetically depicted the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

Ghostly figures run across the roof of a skyscraper, smoke and flames reflected in the building’s window panes, contrasting with the brilliant blue sky.

The people, who have no faces or color, clamor on top of each other in their haste to get away from a man brandishing a knife. A large American flag stands in the midst of the pale figures, the red and white stripes smudging together as if the flag was drenched in a heavy rain.

The scene is from a watercolor called “Saving Freedom” painted by Roseburg resident Caryl Jordan Baum’s late mother Mary Jane Jordan in 1991.

Jordan Baum, 67, believes it prophetically depicted the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

She hopes to have the painting, which she said her mother painted after having a vision, made into a postage stamp that commemorates the 10th anniversary of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Jordan Baum plans to submit an application to the U.S. Postal Service soon and believes the painting’s significance makes a strong case for it being put on a stamp.

Prints of the painting have been sold to people all over the country, with former President George W. Bush being the most famous owner, she said.

Bill Clinton urges Americans to control their anger as ugly campaign enters last leg – Telegraph

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

The public’s anger has demonstrated itself in numerous hot-tempered campaigns, many involving novice candidates from the insurgent Tea Party. The stinging rhetoric and personal insults of some races has reflected the increasingly bitter and rigid divide between Left and Right.”Americans are worked up and angry,” said Matt Bennett, a vice-president of the Third Way think tank.

“In addition to the economic pain there is a sense that we will not come out of this slump the same country we were before. There is a profound fear we have begun to see the end of American domination [of the world] and that is a profoundly scary proposition.”In the most bitter high profile contest, Sharron Angle, the Tea Party-backed Senate candidate in Nevada, told her opponent Sen Harry Reid on live television to “man up” and face the country’s realities. It was one of several indecorous challenges to manhood that have brought dismay about declining standards of political discourse, Christine O’Donnell, a much derided Tea Party favourite who secured the Republican nomination to run for the Senate in Delaware, told her party rival Mike Castle:

“This is not a bake-off, get your man-pants on.”

Angle Targets Obama, Not Reid, in New Ad

October 23, 2010 1 comment

Republican challenger Sharron Angle rolled out a harsh welcome for President Obama, who dropped into Las Vegas last night in a desperate bid to save Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The ad features Obama two years ago lamenting the crumbling economy.“In 2008, we were promised change we could believe in,” the ad says starkly as a crowd can be heard chanting “Obama! Obama!” in the background.

“Then Harry Reid and the president got to work,” the ad says, as scenes flash on screen showing Reid and Obama yukking it up, campaigning together, waving to audiences, smiling and embracing.

Since then, things have only gotten worse — especially in Nevada, which now suffers the highest bankruptcy and foreclosure rates in the country and 14.4 percent unemployment. In Las Vegas, unemployment is 15 percent.

The Other F-Word

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

In an article adapted from his debate last week with Peter Singer and Maggie Little on the moral status of the “fetus,” Professor Finnis explains that outside of medical contexts use of the word “fetus” is offensive, dehumanizing, prejudicial, and manipulative. It obscures our perception of moral reality. Moral status is not a matter of choice or grant or convention, but of recognition, of someone who matters, and matters as an equal, whether we like it or not.

The last time I had the opportunity of discoursing with Peter Singer was in May 1998 in the Philosophy Society at Oxford, right behind the College where we were colleagues for a while in the 1970s.

The topic in 1998 was “Brain Death,” and we had a fair measure of agreement that the contemporary tests and criteria for brain death are an unsatisfactory guide to…

Juan Williams: Victim or Enabler?
By Arnold Ahlert Full Story

image“Well, now that I no longer work for NPR let me give you my opinion. This is an outrageous violation of journalistic standards and ethics by management that has no use for a diversity of opinion, ideas or a diversity of staff (I was the only black male on the air). This is evidence of one-party rule and one sided thinking at NPR that leads to enforced ideology, speech and writing. It leads to people, especially journalists, being sent to the gulag for raising the wrong questions and displaying independence of thought.”—Juan Williams on his firing from National Public Radio

NPR: Nuanced Partisan Reportage

National Public Radio—financed partially with public funds and partially through individual and corporate donations—in theory has a rule that its reporters may not engage in politics.  Having listened to NPR and a variety of other news outlets for years (in order to attain some semblance of perspective and balance) and having admittedly donated money to my local NPR station in the past, I have noticed a disturbing trend in their national reportage.
Biodiversity: Replaces Climate Change As The Weapon For Political Control

Fundamental common sense embedded in the majority of people joined with truth pursuers and the healing perspective of time to bring reason. As Americans, we were promised by President Bush that everyone responsible for the wholesale murder of nearly 3000 of our family members on September 11, 2001 and those harboring or aiding them would be brought to justice. It is currently hindered by an unprecedented level of conflicts of interests within the Holder justice department.

Barack Obama, Marxist student

A fascinating interview with someone who knew Barack Obama at Occidental College, and was a fellow Marxist at the time, can be heard here.

Dr. John Drew is interviewed by frequent AT contributor Paul Kengor, as he guest hosts the Glen Meakam Show.Drew was founder of the Democratic Student Socialist Alliance at Occidental – basically, the Marxist club, as he describes it in the interview.

He got to know young Obama fairly well, and notes that Obama described himself at the time as a Marxist-Lenninist, and anticipated a revolution in the United States.

FBI informant to Congress: Investigate Ayers, Dohrn now

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

A former undercover FBI informant who once spied on 1970s anti-war radicals who bombed government offices is calling on Congress to set up a committee or task force to bring “terrorists” – including those who may be in high and influential positions today – to justice.

The request comes from Larry Grathwohl, whose book “Bringing Down America – An FBI Informer with the Weathermen” alleges Bill Ayers, a friend of President Obama, told Grathwohl that Bernardine Dohrn, who later became Ayers’ wife, placed a pipe bomb outside a San Francisco Police Department building Feb. 16, 1970.

The shrapnel from the anti-personnel bomb’s explosion killed Sgt. Brian V. McDonnell. Another officer, Robert Fogarty, was wounded in the face and legs and left partially blind.

‘White House seeks to remove Obama’ Consider the source but still amusing

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

A US analyst says some officials in the White House and the administration are considering legal action to remove Barack Obama from presidency.”Right now, there is discussion in Washington and within the government of using the 25th amendment to the US Constitution to remove Obama from office,” Edward Spannaus from Executive Intelligence Review said in an interview with Press TV on Friday.

The amendment allows for removing the president if he/she has incapacity either physically or mentally.

“In this case, Obama is mentally incapable of fulfilling the office of president,” Spannaus went on to say.Referring to Obama’s plummeting popularity, mostly due to the recent economic collapse in the US, Spannaus said, “There is no way that his presidency could be salvaged at this point and it does not really make any difference who wins the congressional elections.”

Peter DeFazio D: investigate impeachment of Chief Justice John Roberts.

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

With Democrats increasingly outraged over the Supreme Court’s Citizen United decision that allowed unlimited corporate spending in elections — a change conservatives have been more successful at taking advantage of — a Democratic congressman is raising the prospect of impeaching the Supreme Court’s chief justice over the issue.

“I mean, the Supreme Court has done a tremendous disservice to the United States of America,” Rep. Peter DeFazio D-Ore. told The Huffington Post on Tuesday. “They have done more to undermine our democracy with their Citizens United decision than all of the Republican operatives in the world in this campaign. They’ve opened the floodgates, and personally, I’m investigating articles of impeachment against Justice Roberts for perjuring during his Senate hearings, where he said he wouldn’t be a judicial activist, and he wouldn’t overturn precedents.

“In his 2005 confirmation hearings, Roberts famously said, “Judges and justices are servants of the law, not the other way around. Judges are like umpires. Umpires don’t make the rules; they apply them. The role of an umpire and a judge is critical. They make sure everybody plays by the rules. But it is a limited role. Nobody ever went to a ball game to see the umpire.”According to DeFazio, Roberts hasn’t stood by his own doctrine. He pointed to former Justice John Paul Stevens’s dissent in the case, in which he said the Citizens United case was not properly brought before the Supreme Court. “This procedure is unusual and inadvisable for a court,” Stevens said of the process.

“Our colleagues’ suggestion that ‘we are asked to reconsider Austin and, in effect, McConnell,” ante, at 1, would be more accurate if rephrased to state that ‘we have asked ourselves’ to reconsider those cases.”

Moran Dem Candidate to Veteran: Military Service Isn’t Public Service

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

Twenty-four years in the military doesn’t count as public service, at least according to Virginia Democratic Congressman Jim Moran. In a video that’s gone viral online, Moran is heard telling a Democratic gathering earlier this month that his opponent, Republican Patrick Murray, is just another unqualified GOP candidate.

“What [Republicans] do is find candidates, usually stealth candidates, that haven’t been in office, haven’t served or performed in any kind of public service,” Moran said. “My opponent is typical, frankly.”The trouble is, Murray is a retired Army colonel with 24 years of service–including combat in Iraq.

The idea that such an extensive military record doesn’t qualify as “public service” has left a sour taste in Murray’s mouth.

November 2010: Will Humans Finally Begin Retaking Their Country from the Marxists?

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

Oct. 21, 2010 — With all of the anti-American and anti-human legislation that they have recently passed in order to control We-the-People and destroy OUR country, it’s increasingly difficult to ascertain why any viable polls–whatsoever–would show the population returning to a strong Marxist-Democrat vote.

But, that’s what the polls seem to reflect with the latest results many former Republican leads shifting to Dems? from most of the well-known pollsters. In fairness, the vast majority of these polling organizations are leftist aka Marxist leaning.

But, does the majority really want a totalitarian government? Really? Are the polls heavily weighted for the polling companies’ favorites or are they bogus–entirely? Are some within the electorate still not aware of the more recent events the true ones that led up to the current debacles facing the United States of America?

Washington Post Blockbuster Confirms Worst Fears About Holder Justice Dept. Race Policies

October 23, 2010 Leave a comment

Congratulations to the editors at the Washington Post.

Seventeen months after the Eric Holder Justice Department dismissed a slam-dunk case against the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation, the Post gets around to printing a thorough vetting of the dismissal.

The story is slated for Saturday’s print edition. While other media like Breitbart/The Bigs, Fox News, the Washington Times, the Weekly Standard, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Investors Business Daily, Pajamas Media, and Drudge have had dozens of stories on the corrupt New Black Panther dismissal, the Washington Post at last is in the game. The story is a shocker too.

The shock comes from the middle of the road and factual nature of the story. There are small problems with the story. For one, the Washington Post is the only outlet that calls King Samir Shabazz by his old “slave name” Shabazz’s own words of Maruse Heath. Even Heath doesn’t call himself Heath. Of course this takes some of the sting off Shabazz’s rants against Jews and calls to kill “cracker babies in their crib.”

The Post’s decision to change a man’s name for him is controversial. It has no place

Republican congressional candidate says violent overthrow of government is ‘on the table’

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

WASHINGTON – Republican congressional candidate Stephen Broden stunned his party Thursday, saying he would not rule out violent overthrow of the government if elections did not produce a change in leadership.

In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising “is not the first option,” but it is “on the table.”

That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks “inappropriate.”

Broden, a first-time candidate, is challenging veteran incumbent Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson in Dallas’ heavily Democratic 30th Congressional District.

Johnson’s campaign declined to comment on Broden. In the interview, Brad Watson, political reporter for WFAA-TV Channel 8, asked Broden about a tea party event last year in Fort Worth in which he described the nation’s government as tyrannical.

“We have a constitutional remedy,” Broden said then. “And the Framers say if that don’t work, revolution.”

Hammond says he was not trying to make a political statement.

Obama Tells Pentagon to Attack “Cyberthreats” On American Soil

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Delicately? Obama has trounced the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and particularly Posse Comitatus.

Crimes committed within the United States are the business of federal, state, and local police, not the Pentagon.

“In a break with previous policy, the military now is prepared to provide cyber expertise to other government agencies and to certain private companies to counter attacks on their computer networks, the Pentagon’s cyber policy chief, Robert Butler, said Oct. 20,” reports Defense News.

“An agreement signed this month with the Department of Homeland Security and an earlier initiative to protect companies in the defense industrial base make it likely that the military will be a key part of any response to a cyber attack.”Katrina is the model here.

“The system would mirror that used when the military is called on in natural disasters like hurricanes or wildfires. A presidential order dispatches the military forces, working under the control of the Federal Emergency Management Agency,” reports the Times.“FEMA is the Patriot Act on crack,” writes Sheila Samples, a former civilian U.S. Army Public Information Officer.

“Once its powers are unleashed, Oliver North’s REX 84 ‘exercise’ will become a reality.

The Constitution will be suspended and FEMA will have the right to detain or seize the property of anyone even suspected of engaging in, or who might be thinking of conspiring with others to engage in acts of espionage or sabotage.”

FEMA was created outside of Constitutional law by president Kennedy. It is not subject to congressional oversight. It was consistently modified and magnified under Carter, Reagan especially Reagan, Bush Senior, Clinton, Bush Junior who moved FEMA under the control of the Department of Homeland Security, and now Obama.“Genocide fascists like Henry Kissinger, and greedy patriots like former General Richard Secord and Lt. Col. Oliver North, the architects of both the Iran-Contra scandal and today’s FEMA, must be laughing their asses off at the juvenile disinformation bait-and-switch scenario playing itself out in the US media,”

Samples noted as Katrina unfolded.Under Obama’s rules, the New York Times continues, “the president would approve the use of the military’s expertise in computer-network warfare, and the Department of Homeland Security would direct the work.” Expertise. Breaking things and killing people.

White House uses Marine One to lessen Obama traffic congestion in L.A.

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

The White House appears to be going to great lengths to prevent traffic tie-ups from President Obama’s visit to Southern California on Friday by transporting him to two events on the Marine One helicopter rather than on local roads.Obama touched down at LAX on Friday and was whisked by the helicopter to USC for a speech and rally.

The chopper was set to land at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. After his USC event, he was to take Marine One to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, then shuttle by motorcade to the Univision studios in Glendale.

The motorcade is expected to jam traffic on the 134 Freeway and Glendale surface streets. But local law enforcement officials said the use of Marine One will significantly reduce street and freeway congestion. Some law enforcement officials said they cannot recall a time when the helicopter was used as much to get a president around L.A.

After the USC rally, the president is scheduled to visit Glendale to tape an interview with Spanish-language radio host Eddie Piolin, according to the White House.Glendale police said Friday morning that they anticipate a temporary road closure along Central Avenue near the 134 Freeway, where the Univision facility is located, but CHP said no freeway would be shut for more than a couple of minutes as the presidential motorcade moves through.Obama is scheduled to arrive in Glendale at 3:25 p.m., leave at 4:05 p.m. and then depart directly for LAX to leave the Los Angeles area.

Democrats Behind Tea Party Cyber Attacks?

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Speculation is rife that Democrat activists or even the Obama administration itself may have been responsible for an attack which brought down a prominent Tea Party website right as the organization targeted was running a major fund-raising drive and on the day after Obama directed the Pentagon to attack “cyberthreats” within the United States.

The FreedomWorks website was attacked at 6:55am yesterday morning as the organization’s server was penetrated and completely wiped out by a “sophisticated hacker” on the very day of the group’s donation drive to support Tea Party candidates running in the imminent mid-term elections. The attack also coincided with an endorsement by radio host Glenn Beck and the subsequent down time cost the group an estimated $80,000 dollars in lost donations.“We think the idea was to take our site down until after the election,” Kara Pally, web developer for FreedomWorks, told the Wall Street Journal. “This was politically motivated.”

“It’s like the tea party movement’s been hacked,” said the group’s spokesman, Adam Brandon. “To us, it’s no coincidence this happened the day our Beck money bomb was announced.”Whether or not by coincidence, the GCN radio network’s servers were also bombarded by a similar hack later the same day, with Infowars streaming servers also being knocked offline. The attack came in the aftermath of a hacker openly posting on You Tube how he planned to derail last week’s Infowars money bomb by illegally distributing denial of service software intended to crash the Infowars servers.

Another You Tube user documented how the hacker tried to recruit him to help with the hack attack.Alex Jones and Infowars have been vehement supporters of Tea Party candidates like Rand Paul and Sharron Angle.

Glenn Beck Repudiates Broden’s Violent Overthrow Comments: ‘What Are You Thinking?’

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

On his radio show Friday, Glenn Beck took time to respond to comments made by Texas congressional candidate Stephen Broden that violence was a part of America’s founding and that a future violent overthrow of the government is “on the table.”

In first talking about the story, Beck came out strongly against the idea. “If somebody is suggesting violence, they will be the destruction of our country,” he said:Later in the show, Beck realized that the Stephen Broden mentioned in the story is Pastor Stephen Broden, whom Beck has had on his show in the past.

“Stephen Broden, what are you thinking?” Beck said. “Can’t stand with you on that; I can‘t stand with you at all if you’re saying stuff like that”:Beck then went on to unequivocally denounce violent overthrow of government, warning that such actions will lead America into conflict that mirrors the French Revolution, not the American one. He also said that if Broden’s reported comments are in context, Beck will “campaign against him”:

FAA Halts All Private Los Angeles Air Traffic To Make Space For Obama

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Los Angeles drivers aren’t the only ones being screwed over by President Obama this Friday afternoon. The president’s journey to the USC campus will also be cushioned by a blockade of air traffic within eight miles of LAX and downtown Los Angeles — and within 10 miles of Burbank Airport — from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Association told the Wrap that it has placed a Temporary Flight Restriction on all Los Angeles airspace, and that “only law enforcement aircraft and air ambulance aircraft” will be permitted through at certain times. However, LAX spokesperson Albert Rodriguez clarifies that the restrictions only apply to “pilots who don’t have a flight plan logged with the FAA.” In other words, all commercial airlines will be fine — just don’t think about taking your private jet for a spin until all signs of Obama are off the horizon. The police-enforced red carpet will cause a more catastrophic jam on ground-level: LAPD advises that the entire downtown area will be shut down from 9:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

For a full list of closed streets, see the Weekly’s closure report. The president is in town to rally support for Senate incumbent hopeful Barbara Boxer. The event at USC is expected to draw a crowd of over 30,000, and will be supplemented by performances from Ozomatli and Jamie Foxx.

Is Obama Submissive to Islam?

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

A few weeks ago, I referred to President Obama as a “dhimmi president,” a subservient kowtower to Islamic power. Maybe it’s time to rethink that designation. He’s not a dhimmi. He’s a spineless, supine, surrendering subject of submission – in other words, a dhimmi-plus.

How else to explain Obama’s complacency with regard to a crescent-shaped monument which Alec Rawls advances in “Crescent of Betrayal: Dishonoring the Heroes” his claim that the memorial is in fact the world’s largest open-air mosque, being built on National Park Service federal land at the Shanksville, PA Flight 93 crash site, while at the same time ignoring the desecration, theft and need to replace the Mojave Desert War Memorial Cross our nation’s sole WWI federal memorial also on National Park Service federal land?

And how else to explain Obama’s stumping on behalf of the Ground Zero mosque while at the same time ignoring multiple written requests from veterans’ organizations and a host of distinguished American citizens including Speaker Newt Gingrich, Senator Rick Santorum, a few Medal of Honor recipients, Major Generals, Vice Admirals and many other esteemed citizens, asking that he restore the Memorial Cross?

Why Americans Are Mad

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Let us go, let the Americans lose on the deficit, the budget, the environment and the economy, and the entire world would fall back on the heels. We know that. We all know that!

I believe you know that too.Get out of our way! Get your pompous egos out of our faces and let us fix this country before we treat you the way we treat people like you in our world of free enterprise.

We have no illusions of how bad you are at governing! We had better things to do than to babysit your childish backsides until now.

Now we have lots of time, thanks to you fools. We don’t want to compromise with you, we don’t even want to hear your BS until you admit that it was you, that is right, all of you senators and representatives that made the rules that have screwed up this country. Admit it!Until then, get out of our way! We will make a clear set of rules everyone will understand, everyone will follow and that will favor no one group over another! We want everyone to succeed!Get out of our way ! You have failed to address any issue without making it worse! What absolute failures you are!

Military Encroachment On Civilian Authority & Seven Days In May | Emptywheel

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

The military officer corps is rumbling with dissatisfaction and dissent, and there are suggestions from some that if officers disagree with policy decisions by Congress and the White House, they should vigorously resist.Officers have a moral responsibility, some argue, to sway a policy debate by going public with their objections or leaking information to the media, and even to sabotage policy decisions by deliberate foot-dragging.

This could spell trouble ahead as Washington grapples with at least two highly contentious issues: changing the policy on gays and lesbians in the military, and extricating U.S. forces from Afghanistan. In both cases, senior officers already have disagreed sharply and publicly with Defense Secretary Robert Gates and President Barack Obama, and in some cases officers have leaked documents to bolster their case.…..

“The military officer belongs to a profession upon whose members are conferred great responsibility, a code of ethics, and an oath of office. These grant him moral autonomy and obligate him to disobey an order he deems immoral,” writes Marine Lt. Col. Andrew R. Milburn in Joint Forces Quarterly, an official journal published by the National Defense University under the aegis of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. That is especially true if his civilian leaders are incompetent, writes Milburn, who currently is assigned to the U.S. Special Operations Command in Stuttgart, Germany.

Establishment Dispatches Clinton To Campaign Against Rand Paul

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

The Democratic establishment is pulling out the big guns in an all out effort to prevent Rand Paul from becoming a Kentucky senator this November by dispatching former president Bill Clinton to campaign for Paul’s opponent Jack Conway on the eve of the election.

Clinton will touch down in Kentucky on November 1st.“Conway campaign spokeswoman Allison Haley confirmed Clinton’s return visit but said locations of Clinton’s appearances have not been finalized.” reports the Lexington Herald-Leader.Lexington businessman Jerry Lundergan, who is a close friend of the former president, said he has talked to Clinton, “and he has assured me that he will come back to Kentucky to campaign for Jack.”Clinton is still popular in Kentucky, a state he carried twice on his way to the White House in the 1990s.

The news throws up an interesting talking point in the face of continued smears against Rand Paul’s character on behalf of the corporate media and Conway himself. While it is clear that the allegations against Rand Paul have been distorted and blown out of all proportion, as admitted by the anonymous woman in question who recanted and admitted that she was never kidnapped, nor force drugged, the establishment is still using the manufactured hoax in an effort to discredit Paul.

However, this display of enthusiasm that was noticeably lacking when the far more serious rape scandals surrounding Bill Clinton came to light in 1998.

In Arizona, illegal aliens, felons and multi-state residents vote unabated

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

PHOENIX – Although Arizona voters passed Proposition 200 in 2004, which, in part, was supposed to require proof of citizenship to register to vote and require voters to present ID at the polls, those who shouldn’t register or vote continue to do so unabated. According to Maricopa County Elections Department Director of Communications Yvonne Reed, unless a felon checks the box on his voter registration form stating he is indeed a felon, there is no system to flag felons to verify if their voting rights have been restored.

Reed said, unless there is something that triggers the search, such as a felon who has not had his rights restored getting called for jury duty, in which case the court will notify the registrar, there is no notification process and the voter registration system is simply not sophisticated enough to flag anyone by social security number or any other indicator. She also said they no longer “purge” the voter registration rolls. What they do now is if a person has not voted in two presidential elections, they are placed on an “inactive” list. If they come back and vote again with proof they’re at the same address, they can vote. This means, with early voting, anyone with multi-state residency, could easily vote in the same national election in more than one state.

The Arizona Constitution only allows voting on a specific day and states: “There shall be a general election of representatives in congress, and of state, county, and precinct officers on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the first even numbered year after the year in which Arizona is admitted to statehood and biennially thereafter.”It doesn’t say a general election may be held for thirty days leading up to and on the first Tuesday after the first Monday, etc., it cites a very specific day. Apparently no one has challenged Arizona’s early voting provisions in court…

Meanwhile Arizona continues to employ the honor system for voter registration, despite the fact some of those registering to vote are not citizens, illegally present, felons, have multi-state residences and multi-state voter registrations, and lied about it on their registration form.Prop. 200 was implemented, begrudgingly, by then Governor Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Terry Goddard, with rules that achieved exactly what they intended – nothing.

Obama’s Boss Buys NPR

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Just days after declaring himself “helpless” to stop the Republican avalanche coming next month, George Soros paid $1.8 million to purchase NPR. The money is supposed to be used to hire 1oo “news” reporters for his Impact of Government project.

Soros’s OSI is using the project to target state governments, as he is doing with his nefarious SoS campaign. Obama’s boss is conniving to install regime-friendly operatives in Secretaries of State offices nationwide. In a completely unrelated story, NPR just fired its lone intellectually honest liberal and Fox News commentator, Juan Williams.

Soros also gave $1 million to Media Matters, another liberal cabal dedicated to harassing conservatives in the media and whining about Fox News.Soros may have abandoned all hopes for November, but he is investing heavily in subverting the 2012 election.

Obama Prepares to Surrender in Afghanistan

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

In an article entitled “Iran joins high-level Afghan talks” by AP writer ALESSANDRA RIZZO, Rizzo says the following:

“Iran took part in a high-level meeting on Afghanistan on Monday after the United States said it has no problem with its participation. The international “contact group” met in Rome amid a renewed push to end the nine-year-old war in Afghanistan, including bringing Taliban into peace talks.

The group gathers the Afghan government, NATO, the EU, U.N. and other key players — including Iran this time — to assess progress in Afghanistan.Representatives attending the talks said Iran was invited as part of efforts to have a comprehensive approach and include regional players in the discussions over the future of Afghanistan.Richard Holbrooke, U.S. special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, said Washington was asked about possible Iranian involvement and responded it had no problem with it. He and other representatives stressed the talks are limited to Afghanistan and do not touch on the contentious issue of Tehran’s nuclear dossier.

“This is a meeting on Afghanistan and it is restricted to Afghanistan,” Holbrooke told reporters. “What we are discussing here is not affected by, nor will it affect, the bilateral issues that are discussed elsewhere regarding Iran.”

SOURCEWhat all this tells THIS scribe is – that Obama is looking for a way, anyway, to pull US Forces out of Afghanistan, at the earliest possible moment, and any progress that has been made in Afghanistan, at the cost of all those American’s lives, will have been in vain!

Doug Casey on Presidents: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Interviewed by Louis James, Editor, International Speculator

Recently: No Way Out

EXCERPT ONLY…

L: I also have to give credit to George Washington, in spite of the major turn down the wrong road he took for the whole country when he suppressed the Whiskey Rebellion by force, because he could have set himself up as king after the first American Revolution – and he didn’t.

Doug: He had the army, was very popular, and he could have done it – I agree, he could have made himself king, or been reelected until his death. But I can’t forgive him for crushing the Whiskey Rebellion; that set the precedent for federal taxation and power that eventually led to the Civil War and the bloated monster in Washington that has now burst almost all of its chains.

L: So, who was the worst president?

Doug: That’s a really tough question to answer, because there are so many deserving candidates for that title. A short list would have to include McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, Wilson, Hoover, FDR, Truman, Johnson, Baby Bush, and Obama. But I’d have to say Lincoln was by far the worst. He plunged the country into a totally unnecessary and immensely devastating war, and violated every important part of the Constitution. But he was such a great rhetorician that he made Americans feel good about all the horrors he brought about, setting a doubly bad precedent.

L: I think I know what you’ll say, but for our readers who are used to hearing Lincoln described as some sort of saint, and probably America’s greatest president, can you expand on that? He preserved the union and freed the slaves…

Doug: The union was not preserved. A union of free and sovereign states was cemented into a single super-state, in which each individual state became nothing more than an administrative region. Who’s to say that a bigger U.S. was a better one anyway? This Civil War was really the Second American Revolution. Anyway, it wasn’t a civil war, which is technically a contest for the control of a single government; it was a war of secession, like that of 1776. I’m no fan of the Confederacy, but the wrong side won, overthrowing the federal organization that restrained national power, maximizing political and economic freedom.

L: Not for the slaves.

Why I Do Not Vote

by Butler Shafferby

Butler Shaffer

Recently by Butler Shaffer: Lest We Forget This originally appeared November 14, 2000.With the 2000 election behind us – if, indeed, it will ever be behind us – I have now gone 36 years without participating in the voting process. It was not always thus. Upon my graduation from law school, my first full-time job was that of executive secretary of the Nebraska Republican Party. I later became a member of the State Central Committee, the Young Republican State Executive Committee, one of the incorporators of Barry Goldwater’s first national fund-raising campaign, and a member of the Nebraska delegation to the 1964 Republican National Convention.

The Goldwater movement was the precursor to the modern Libertarian Party, and was largely energized by young men and women who were convinced that state power had become destructive of individual liberty and social order, and that “working within the system” could change all of that.

My experiences in the Republican Party convinced me otherwise.

Like Karl Hess, a man who was to become one of my dearest friends years later, I quickly lost my appetite for politics and have never returned. Is there a case to be made for voting? Indeed there is, if one believes that social order is a quality that can be instilled, by violence and other coercive means, by political authorities.

I do not accept this proposition. To the contrary, I believe that social order is the product of unseen, spontaneous influences of which most of us are not consciously aware. The study of economics helped me to understand how we respond, marginally, to fluctuations that are continuously generated by one another’s self-seeking pursuits.

I also came to understand that politics – like a rock thrown through a spider’s web – disrupts these informal processes as well as the existing patterns of interconnectedness upon which any social order depends…

Laurie Roth – The US Empire is striking back Obama

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Just this week we heard Harry Reid in a speech in Nevada comparing Obama to the Chilean Miners in his focus and heroism. “It was like the Chilean miners, but he, being the man he is, rolled up his sleeves and said “I am going to get us out of this hole,”

Sen. Harry Reid D-NV said in Las Vegas on Sunday. Is Obama going to be compared to Mother Theresa next week?

Obama is trying to paint a bigger than life movie action film for democrats and independents to respond to at the mid terms.

In one of his recent mid term pitch talks he said “the Empire is striking back.”

Think about this statement for a minute.

Just what does ‘the Empire’ mean in his mind? The empire is ‘the people’ apparently, the ‘scared, fearful, non objective people’ who are responding against him out of stress. That would explain our actions and his lowering poll numbers right?…..WRONG!

Obama offers the nation absurd statements on the verge of the mid terms, Axelrod and Obama are promising more jobs next year, and warning people that the ‘Empire is striking back.’ Darth Vader is not only back and very angry, but hundreds of millions of Darth Vaders are also mobilized and not happy. Obama can call us whatever he wants.

We know the truth. Obama is the real Darth Vader and is trying to turn us into an evil empire. We aren’t the empire at all, he, his czars, progressive leftists and congress are.

If the latest news coming out of the Supreme Court is any indication, President Obama needs a quick lesson on how to win friends or it won’t be long before it is only him and his teleprompter at the next State of the Union address. This week, Justice Samuel Alito, a man that I will admit that I fell slightly in love with during the last State of the Union, declared that he would most likely not be attending the next State of the Union due to political awkwardness.

If you are one of the few that didn’t tune in during that memorable moment in history and happened to miss this little gem, take a few seconds and watch Justice Alito’s reaction to President Obama’s accusation in the middle of his speech. It was his own, “you lie” moment.

Most Voters Oppose the Reelection of Anyone Who Voted for the Health Care Law

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Incumbents, beware: The major votes you’ve cast in Congress over the past couple years appear likely to come back to haunt you this Election Day.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that most Likely Voters think their representative in Congress does not deserve reelection if he or she voted for the national health care law, the auto bailouts or the $787-billion economic stimulus plan.

To see survey question wording, click here. Those votes also appear to be driving factors in the GOP’s consistent lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot. Most strong supporters of President Obama believe those who voted for the measures should be reelected. Even more of those who Strongly Oppose the president disagree.

Forty-three percent 43% of all Likely Voters say someone who voted for the health care law deserves to be reelected. Fifty percent 50% oppose their reelection. Thirty-six percent 36% say if their local representative voted for the taxpayer bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler, he or she deserves to be returned to Congress.

Fifty-three percent 53% say that person does not deserve reelection.Similarly, 41% say their representative in Congress should be reelected if he or she voted for the stimulus plan. But 50% don’t see it that way and say the individual should not be reelected. The partisan divide is predictable since virtually no congressional Republicans voted for any of these measures. So Democratic voters overwhelmingly think those in Congress who voted for them should be reelected, while Republicans feel just as strongly that they should not be reelected.

But, tellingly, voters not affiliated with either party also feel strongly that supporters of the health care law, the auto bailouts and the stimulus should not be returned to Congress.

Woman seeks ‘Christian roommate,’ state cites her for discrimination

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

A single, 31-year-old woman in Michigan who posted a note on her church bulletin board seeking a “Christian roommate” to share her residence has been cited by the state for violating the Fair Housing Act by discriminating against those of other faiths.

The complaint signed by Tyra Khan, a “Civil Rights Representative” of the state of Michigan Department of Civil Rights, surfaced when the Alliance Defense Fund announced today it was representing the woman.ADF spokesman Joel Oster confirmed the organization sent a letter to the state explaining that such housing rules don’t apply to people living in their own homes and wanting to share their resources.Find how what happens when the government steps over the line, in “Constitutional Chaos”"[Tricia] is a single lady looking for a roommate. She is not a landlord. She does not own a management company. She does not run an apartment complex. She is a single person seeking to have a roommate live with her in her house,” the letter said.”She is not prohibited by either federal law or state law from seeking a Christian roommate.

Neither Title VII of the US Fair Housing Civil Rights Act of 1968 nor the Elliot Larsen Civil Rights Act No. 453 prevents a woman like [her] from seeking a Christian roommate.”

New Orleans It’s amazing how we become inured to the ridiculous, even when it is abusive and preposterous. That’s my cut on Glenn Beck and his ranting, especially when he evokes me as anti-christ and revolutionary.

Over the last couple of years, whenever I would mention the absurdity of it all, too often it would end up on Beck’s show on another whiteboard of whackiness, so I followed Huey Long’s old dictum that there is no real defense for a public attack and let it all run off of me like water off a duck’s back.

When I flew into San Francisco a couple of months I got there just as a crazy was in the news having been arrested in a fire fight with the cops as he was headed to do damage to the Tides Foundation, ACLU and others. He’s now conceded he was revved up by Beck and the Fox News fanatics. I didn’t enjoy seeing my name in those articles either, but what can you do, move under a rock? Nada, me!

Obama’s Farewell Address

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

It was an unseasonably mild day for Washington in January, 2013. Barack Hussein Obama stood presidentially but grimly in a dark overcoat, unadorned by a Presidential flag and unaccompanied by his wife. She had prior holiday commitments on the Costa del Sol in Spain, where it was known she had several good and welcoming friends.

For the Obamas and for the left in America, the unthinkable had happened. We who had finally gotten who ‘we had been waiting for,’ were not waiting for anything anymore but the departure of he who had brought America hope and change.

So much hope and change had been delivered in the President’s four years that the country had become almost unrecognizable, which was judged to be wonderful in some quarters, though not so much with the majority of the American people. Thus, the crowd, vastly fewer in number than at his inauguration, was preparing to hear the Farewell Address of President Barack Hussein Obama.

This introduction was accompanied by a gentle crossing of the President’s left hand, with his middle finger extended, and pausing, while it crossed his face. It was a gesture often used by the President during his Administration, thought to be a somewhat odd and/or nervous gesture on the part of the former Executive.

This movement of his finger happened with a disconcerting frequency during the President’s Farewell Address.

Obama began with a gracious ‘shout out’ unknown exactly, what that is to thank everyone who had served him so faithfully, but he seemed to soon realize that most of them were long gone. After thanking Rahm Emanuel, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Larry Summers, Christina Rohmer, Desiree Rogers, Peter Orzag and General James Jones, among others, he just sort of…gave up.Then, the unforgettable words of the Farewell Address of Barack Obama began thus:

Every Email and Website to be StoredEvery email, phone call and website visit is to be recorded and stored after the Coalition Government revived controversial Big Brother snooping plans.

By Tom WhiteheadOctober 20, 2010 “The Telegraph” — It will allow security services and the police to spy on the activities of every Briton who uses a phone or the internet.Moves to make every communications provider store details for at least a year will be unveiled later this year sparking fresh fears over a return of the surveillance state.

The plans were shelved by the Labour Government last December but the Home Office is now ready to revive them.It comes despite the Coalition Agreement promised to “end the storage of internet and email records without good reason”.Any suggestion of a central “super database” has been ruled out but the plans are expected to involve service providers storing all users details for a set period of time.

That will allow the security and police authorities to track every phone call, email, text message and website visit made by the public if they argue it is needed to tackle crime or terrorism. The information will include who is contacting whom, when and where and which websites are visited, but not the content of the conversations or messages. The move was buried in the Government’s Strategic Defence and Security Review, which revealed: “We will introduce a programme to preserve the ability of the security, intelligence and law enforcement agencies to obtain communication data and to intercept communications within the appropriate legal framework.

“This programme is required to keep up with changing technology and to maintain capabilities that are vital to the work these agencies do to protect the public.

Orly Taitz, ‘Birther queen,’ is a problematic ally

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

The so-called “Birther Queen” lost her campaign for California secretary of state earlier this cycle, so now she’s trying to get Republicans elected to Congress.

The problem: They want nothing to do with Orly Taitz, an Israeli émigré who has racked up tens of thousands of dollars in court fines for filing frivolous lawsuits challenging President Barack Obama’s U.S. citizenship.

In a series of close contests – she’s backed Van Tran in California, Joe Heck in Nevada and Steve Pearce in New Mexico so far – her help is raising a thorny issue that has already tripped up several Republicans this cycle, and they’re running away from her.”Joe’s never met Orly. He’s not a birther. If she considers herself the queen of the birthers – if that’s the only thing that her endorsement is based on, she’s not in line with Joe,” said Heck spokeswoman Mari Nakashima.

“Let me tell you all we have to say about that,” Van Tran campaign manager George Andrews said. “We never sought her endorsement, and we never even received her endorsement on file,” he said.

The RINOs also need to be addressed and we must work hard to send them back to the Democrat Party of their true roots. There may even be a new future better and more Constitutionally sound political party to replace the GOP.

But, today, we are fighting for our very survival. We MUST take back Congress or we will not survive at all. We must also work to rid ourselves of the head of the current fiascos–the one who said if we don’t support him and his policies:

“Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we’re hard-wired not to always think clearly when we’re scared.”

In the past, The Obama called us “bitter clingers,” and now, we’re just scared blobs of dense, slow and dull protoplasm. In other words, he says it’s OUR fault, not Obama’s, that we can’t see the brilliance of his slavery plans for us. Over the Horizon: Warning Signs in U.S. Civil-Military Relations [Shades of "Oathkeepers?"]

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

In June, Rolling Stone helped bring down Gen. Stanley McChrystal by publishing “The Runaway General,” a Michael Hastings article depicting McChrystal’s staff as contemptuous of civilian authority. Last month, Bob Woodward‘s “Obama’s Wars” suggested that the uniformed military had boxed President Barack Obama into an escalation of the Afghanistan War. In tandem, the publications re-awakened concerns about the health of civil-military relations in the United States.

Although the military has not directly challenged civilian authority, some observers worried that contempt in the ranks and the effort to control policy in Afghanistan could spell trouble for civilian supremacy.

Juan Williams, Welcome To Imusville

October 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Welcome Juan Williams. You are the latest citizen of Imusville. And by Imusville, I mean a place where people who make their living talking end up when their buddies on the left forget the First Amendment and sacrifice them on the altar of political correctness.

And yes, I submit the Williams-Imus comparison is valid because at the time of his firing, Don Imus was about five years into an exploration of his inner liberal.More on that later. As you might remember, Imus was canned for an impolitic bit on his show about Rutgers women basketball players being “nappy headed hos.” Thus he was canned by MSNBC and the CBS Radio network, both of whom were carrying his show at the time. And in the prop wash of this event, Imus was defended only by those on the right — while liberals either piled on or remained silent on the sidelines.

We are still not sure if anyone in the Rutgers women’s program had actually ever heard of Don Imus before the incident. And we are witnessing the same thing in the Juan Williams NPR dust up, with liberal NPR doubling down on the move while conservative talkers are coming out of the woodwork to support Williams. Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Hassling white Duke lacrosse players?

Now back to Imus’s “inner liberal.”What is so striking about the Imus incident is that he was squashed by the very people he had been drifting shamelessly towards politically over a period of years. He was moving a bit more leftward almost daily. It really picked up speed after he married a tree hugging liberal — but much younger and less wrinkled — wife.He may never admit it, but Don Imus had changed a lot.

As far as I’m concerned, Obama should be tried, convicted, and go to jail until he’s deported. You’re going to go riot in the streets? You’re going to injure and kill people? You’re going to destroy property? For what? For this phony, this fraud, this impostor who knew from the beginning what he was doing?” I think it’s the biggest hoax against the United States of America in our history in 234 years, and all those people should be held accountable.
