Thanks Mr President, I am Your Enemy

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

An Open Letter To President ObamaDear Mr President,Many of us are outraged that you consider us your enemy; not me, I’m proud to be your enemy. No, not the type who wants to put you in the cross-hairs at 800 meters: I am an American who loves his Freedom and his Country with its traditions.

Sure, I have my doubts concerning the citizenry that would elect a Marxist for President, but most of them aren’t old enough to have seen the devastation among the warriors who returned home from WWII, Korea, and Indo China: I am.As a child, I cowered and listened to the men as they sat around tables and drank; some yelled and ranted, some talked quietly with tear streaked cheeks, some said nothing at all; they shared their pain, a pain that scared us children. One Korean vet marched daily down a gravel road a few miles from my home; every day he marched with a ramrod stiff cadence that none of the rest of us heard. Everyone tried to ignore his strange behavior; they said he was shell shocked and in time he would get better, but he marched and marched down through the years.

One day I went away and wore the uniform; on my return home, years later, I was driving past him in my work truck and I snapped him a sharp salute. He returned the salute and kept marching. I felt humiliated for what I had done. I knew nothing about the man, except that he was a shell shocked veteran from either Korea or WWII. He may have been an officer, I still don’t know to this day, but for the rest of the time I worked around home, he saluted me every time I drove past him. He was a Canadian Mr President; however, he contracted his problem fighting alongside our American Patriots who were fighting to keep this country free of tyrants and he pays for that past honor by endlessly marching and I hope he is still able to march to this day, because we are losing those Patriots at a tremendous rate Mr President.

Patriots who put their life on the line and accepted their fate to keep us free from tyranny.

Reid staffer possibly coordinates with Nevada union “to put headlock” on voters

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

Employees of casino giant Harrah’s may have been pushed by executives to vote early in order to help Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid win his tough re-election campaign against Republican Sharron Angle according to emails leaked to the press. If true, this would violate Federal Election law, as coordinating “Get Out The Vote” efforts cannot be coordinated with a political candidate.

The Federal Election Commission prohibits coordination between companies, unions, and candidates for Get Out The Vote efforts:No CoordinationRegistration and GOTV drives beyond the restricted class cannot be coordinated with any candidate or any political party. 109.21 and 114.4d2.According to Elizabeth Crum at National Review, a Reid staffer sent an email to Harrah’s top lobbyist Jan Jones, who in turn distributed the email to executives — offering any help possible to get out the vote for Reid. Upon learning that mid-level supervisors are not “cooperating with and listening to upper management,” the Reid staffer even goes so far as to suggest that Harrah’s execs “put a headlock on your supervisors to get them to follow through.”

Obama-hating books…

November 2, 2010 1 comment

According to a ballooning body of literature, President Obama is a Communist plant in the White House. He is bent on destroying capitalism, freedom and the American Way in favour of both socialism and a worldwide conspiracy of international bankers and oligarchs.

All the while he is working tirelessly to undermine America’s military defenses in order to facilitate Islamic conquest.

Rendell to black voters: ‘They’re trying to screw the President’

November 2, 2010 1 comment

Ed Rendell, as usual, has the purest distillation of his party’s message:Gov. Ed Rendell approached two men eating in the food court at One Liberty Place in Center City Philadelphia during the lunch hour rush Monday. After obliging them with talk about the Philadelphia Eagles Rendell predicted a 10-6 season and trip to the playoffs for the Birds he said, “But tomorrow. Tomorrow. Vote.”Then he leaned in and said, “You know they’re trying to screw the president, right?”

The Framers Used Vattel, Not Blackstone to Define a “Natural Born Citizen” by: Mario Apuzzo, Esq.

November 2, 2010 1 comment

The question which has gripped our nation is whether Barack Obama is eligible to be President and Commander in Chief. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 provides that: “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

The proper question under this clause is not whether Obama is a “Citizen of the United States.” Rather, the correct question is whether Obama is a “natural born Citizen” thereunder.

Listen & Learn: Mark Levin Calls This Election Day “A Rebellion” 11/1/10

November 2, 2010 1 comment

Before anyone takes 8 minutes to vote today, take 8 minutes to listen to these powerful words. As he is quite often, “The Great One” was all fired up last night. On the eve before Election Day, Mark reminds us how far from its original Founding this government has strayed and that we have the moral duty to cut this serpent off at its head before it is too late.

He calls the predicted destruction of the liberal Democrat monopoly over the federal government an honest, lawful, responsible rebellion by the American people. Someone else P.J. O’Rourke? called today a “referendum.” Either one …

Palin Refuses to Repudiate Beck [Whining Lefty Alert]

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

David Brock, the C.E.O. of the liberal group Media Matters, said in an interview with the Caucus that he was “disappointed” with Sarah Palin’s refusal to repudiate the Fox News host Glenn Beck.Mr. Brock made that request this week in an article on Huffington Post and in an interview on MSNBC. Mr. Brock said Ms. Palin, the former vice presidential nominee and former Alaska governor, could help stop what he said was Mr. Beck’s incitement of violence on his show.

Instead, Ms. Palin called Mr. Beck during his radio show this morning and the pair mocked Mr. Brock’s request. “I stand with you, Glenn,” Ms. Palin told Mr. Beck during a phone call that was played on the air.In an interview later, Mr. Brock said that he was “disappointed in the answer. I actually thought when I left the office last night that there was a serious chance she would address this in a serious way.”In a separate statement, Mr. Brock said Ms. Palin “now associates herself with acts of violence and the insane conspiracy theories and hate speech behind them.”A representative for Mr. Beck declined to comment.

Gunny G: Sources of Info Regarding Constitutional Issues by Dr Eduardo M. Rivera…

November 2, 2010 5 comments

I recently discovered Dr Rivera’s writings online.

The following sources/links to Dr Rivera’s writings  have served as an insight to me on numerous  constitutional issues. I have posted this here for safekeeping so that I can retrieve easily for future reference; and perhaps  be found by others also.

Thus far in my reading of his work, I have found  things that are similar to other bits of information (scattered hints, actually) that I have come across  by other writers through the years, but Dr Rivera seems to have conneced the dots in a much more clear and thorough manner.

In my opinion, Dr Rivera may have some unexpected answers within his writings that touch upon such current popular questions as… presidential eligibility, birth certificates, remarks as to the Constitution being a “flawed document,” etc.

Minnesota Election Officials Treat Voters Like Confused Children

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

Editor’s note: A group of citizen watchdog groups in Minnesota have implemented a program called Election Integrity Watch. Part of the initiative involves wearing buttons to the polls which say “Please ID Me” and presenting photo identification as a silent protest in advocacy of legislation requiring photo identification to vote. In the final days leading up to the election. A handful of state and county election officials banned the buttons, along with any apparel referencing the Tea Party. The groups co-sponsoring Election Integrity Watch filed a lawsuit challenging the ban. The case was heard Monday. The following is addressed to Minnesota voters. When you head to the polls today, rest assured that your determination to vote for the candidate of your choice will not be derailed by the “intimidating” presence of a button on someone’s shirt reading “Please ID Me.” You will not be lulled into a deep state of hypnosis, and compelled to vote against your intent, upon gazing at a t-shirt promoting Tea Party Patriots. There are two reasons for this. One, you are an intelligent self-determining individual able to hold your course despite others’ apparel. Two, on Monday, a U.S. district court judge ruled in favor of restricting such apparel.U.S. District Judge Joan Ericksen said Monday that the items could be viewed as political, and that the polling place is supposed to be a place of “peace, order and decorum.”

If anything, she said, the buttons are designed to affect the actual voting process — by suggesting voters are required to show ID.

Priority One for Republicans

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

For newly empowered congressional Republicans, priority one must be an extension of the Bush tax cuts. There should be enough votes not only from a new Republican majority, but also from some of the decimated and dispirited and even newly elected Democrats. If President Obama is smart, he won’t veto the bill.If the tax cuts are allowed to expire, everyone who gets a paycheck and has taxes withheld is going to see less money in the “net” column starting January 1.

Bloomberg.com has published some calculations. It reports that, according to the Tax Institute at H&R Block, “for a married couple earning $80,000 a year, increased taxes would drain $221.48 in withholding from a semi-monthly paycheck. Married individuals earning $240,000 a year” just under the $250,000 standard President Obama defines as “rich” “would lose $557.78 to withholding in a single semi-monthly paycheck.” Double these figures for a month and multiply by 12 and you quickly see the additional drain on the economy at a time of anemic 2 percent growth.

The Five Faulty Theories that Led Obama and Democrats to Disaster

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

The original sin of President Obama and Democrats was their belief in the theory that smashing victories by their party in the 2006 and 2008 elections represented a political realignment that would leave them in power in Washington for decades to come.As even they should know by now, that theory wasn’t close to being true.

A true realignment – and there have been only a handful of them in our history – requires a dramatic shift in the political and ideological leanings of Americans. That hasn’t happened. The exit polls in the 2008 election and extensive polls since then found that America remains a country with twice as many self-identified conservatives as liberals, while about one-third of Americans consider themselves to be moderates. This breakdown has been the case for years. So the election of Obama and huge Democratic majorities in the Senate and House didn’t signal the advent of a center-left orientation in American politics. Rather, the old center-right leaning nation – that is, moderate to conservative – has persisted.

The Democrats’ War on America

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

By their fruits we shall know them, and so we know them. This is who and what the Democrats are. They are at war with the American people.

It was Obama and Hillary, his Secretary of State, who reported the American people to the most egregious abusers of basic human rights, the UNHuman Rights” Council, which includes Cuba, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, Libya, Angola, Mauritania, Qatar, and Malaysia. Child slavery, anyone? This is the first time ever that the US is facing scrutiny from the evil forces of the UN Human Rights Council. Thank you, Obama.

More proof that he is either an America-hater or a madman.Seven countries accused of human rights violations, including Libya, Angola and Malaysia, won seats on the UN Human Rights Council…… [...]All 14 countries easily topped the 97 votes required from the 192-member world body. Libya, which currently holds the presidency of the General Assembly, received the lowest number of votes — 155 — while Angola got 170 and Malaysia 179.In addition to these three countries, human rights groups criticized the poor rights records of Thailand, Uganda, Mauritania and Qatar which also won seats. The seven other countries that won seats were Maldives, Ecuador, Guatemala, Spain, Switzerland, Moldova and Poland.America is under attack from within at the highest levels of power.

Barack Hussein Obama’s policies are bringing America to her knees. With a consistency that can only come from deeply held conviction, Barack Hussein Obama is damaging the office of the presidency and compromising American sovereignty.

It’s up to us. …Bring cameras and audio recorders. Document the fraud.

November 2, 2010 1 comment

Check out my latest column at Big Government:Stealing the Election Pamela Geller, Big GovernmentFifteen Missouri counties have more people registered to vote than they have people who are aged eighteen or older. This is egregious, illegal and contemptuous of the rule of law.

And it is just the tip of the iceberg.Voter fraud is rampant. Nevada voting machines are automatically registering votes for Harry Reid, no matter who you vote for. And who are the voting machine technicians? Members of the Service Employees International Union SEIU, which donated $500,000 to the Patriot Majority PAC, which in turn has spent $1.3 million to destroy Sharron Angle — who is running against Reid.In Craven County, North Carolina, a man voted the straight Republican ticket, only to see the machine register his votes as if he had voted straight Democrat. In Chicago, thousands of votes submitted through the new vote-by-mail system may not be counted. In Daytona Beach, Florida, City Commissioner Derrick Henry was arrested last week for absentee ballot fraud during his re-election campaign earlier this year.

Why Is Indiana Putting Armed Security Guards Into 36 Unemployment Offices Across The State?

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

Did you ever think that things in America would get so bad that we would need to put armed guards into our unemployment offices? Well, that is exactly what is happening in Indiana. Armed security guards will now be posted at all 36 full-service unemployment offices in the state of Indiana. So why is this happening now? Well, Indiana Department of Workforce Development spokesman Marc Lotter says that the agency is bringing in the extra security in anticipation of an upcoming deadline when thousands upon thousands of Indiana residents could have their unemployment benefits cut off. But it is not just the state of Indiana that could have a problem. In fact, one recent study found that approximately 2 million Americans will lose their unemployment insurance benefits during this upcoming holiday season unless Congress authorizes another emergency extension of benefits by the end of November.

At this point, however, that is looking less and less likely. So perhaps all the states will have to start putting armed security guards in their unemployment offices. The truth is that frustration among unemployed Americans is growing by the day.Could we soon see economic riots similar to what we have seen in Greece and France?Let’s hope not.The following is a video news report about the armed guards that are going into Indiana unemployment offices….click to the site to view the video

Here’s the Real Reason Independents Have Turned Against the Democrats

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

The expected Republican upset at the voting booth today is bound to leave many inside the Beltway confused. What on earth do the American people want? After all, just two years ago they threw out the Republicans, and now they are throwing out the Democrats. What Americans want is a government that stays out of their pocketbooks and out of their private lives. Under Presidents Bush and Obama, we’ve gotten just the opposite: government program after government program created with our money to socially engineer the economy.Evidence of voters’ desires lies in the huge swing we are seeing in the so-called independents. They are leaning heavily Republican in every poll. Pundits and political observers use the word independents frequently, but rarely do they define it. Now would be a good time.I believe independents are fiscally-conservative, yet socially-liberal.

How do I know? I’m one of them. I don’t want to be taxed to death, and I don’t want to tell other people how to live their lives.Yet, for decades the choice has been either A. a party that didn’t want to overtax me, but seemed awfully concerned about what happens in people bedrooms, or B. a party that was far more tolerant on social issues but loved spending taxpayer money to “fix” things.

Video: Angry Violent Leftist Periello Supporters Try To Break Up Conservative Rally As Police Watch

Scott Rasmussen: A Vote Against Dems, Not for the GOP

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

Voters don’t want to be governed from the left, right or center. They want Washington to recognize that Americans want to govern themselves. This isn’t a wave, it’s a tidal shift—and we’ve seen it coming for a long time. Remarkably, there have been plenty of warning signs over the past two years, but Democratic leaders ignored them.

At least the captain of the Titanic tried to miss the iceberg. Congressional Democrats aimed right for it.While most voters now believe that cutting government spending is good for the economy, congressional Democrats have convinced them that they want to increase government spending. After the president proposed a $50 billion infrastructure plan in September, for example, Rasmussen Reports polling found that 61% of voters believed cutting spending would create more jobs than the president’s plan.Central to the Democrats’ electoral woes was the debate on health-care reform. From the moment in May 2009 when the Congressional Budget Office announced that the president’s plan would cost a trillion dollars, most voters opposed it.

Today 53% want to repeal it. Opposition was always more intense than support, and opposition was especially high among senior citizens, who vote in high numbers in midterm elections.Rather than acknowledging the public concern by passing a smaller and more popular plan, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and President Obama insisted on passing the proposed legislation by any means possible. As a result, Democrats face massive losses in tomorrow’s midterm election.

Did Obama Order British Authorities To Find Non-Existent Ink Bomb?

Only after President’s speech did East Midlands security officials reverse earlier announcement that suspicious device was a dudDid Obama Order British Authorities To Find Non Existent Ink Bomb? 011110top2Paul Joseph WatsonPrison Planet.comMonday, November 1, 2010

After having examined the suspicious ink toner device for six hours and found it to be a dud, bomb experts at East Midlands Airport only reversed their decision after being ordered to re-inspect the package by US authorities following President Obama’s Friday afternoon speech in which he claimed that the devices did in fact contain explosives

This telling contradiction in the timeline of the cargo bomb plot fiasco proves that the story was being hyped and manipulated from the very early stages.Obama was informed of the plot at 10:35PM eastern Thursday night, despite the fact that the East Midlands package was only first discovered roughly at the exact same time – 3:30am on Friday morning UK time. British Prime Minister David Cameron was kept firmly out of the loop – he was not informed until Friday afternoon.

How did Obama and his terror chief John Brennan know that the East Midlands package was an explosive device virtually at the same time bomb experts had only just discover

‘The story of a British man who rescued hundreds of people during the Second World War using a herd of elephants in an operation dubbed a “Far Eastern Dunkirk” is to be told in full for the first time.Gyles Mackrell, a 53-year-old tea planter, saved 200 Burmese refugees from the banks of a flooded river using the only means he could think of to get them to safety – elephants.Mackrell’s rescue mission was followed by the press at the time, who nicknamed him the Elephant Man, but the events of June 1942 were soon consigned to history.

However, after donations of letters, diaries and amateur video footage of the rescue from Mackrell’s niece, the Centre of South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge is paying tribute to his bravery.Researchers will examine the donated documents in detail, hoping to revive interest in the story of the Elephant Man, as well as uncovering others who helped to save refugees in Burma in the 1940s.The university will also release a short film of Mackrell’s epic rescue mission on its YouTube site.’Excerpt Read more at dailymail.co.uk …

President Obama’s omission of the Creator in his citation of the Declaration of Independence in recent speeches has drawn media attention, but federal documents reveal his administration began altering his reference to the founding document at least two weeks earlier than believed.

In the Universal Periodic Review submitted by the Department of State to the United Nations in August, the administration stated, “The story of the United States of America is one guided by universal values shared the world over – that all are created equal and endowed with inalienable rights.”

A Warning to the GOP, Voters Don’t Love You as Much as They Hate the Democrats.

A Vote Against Dems, Not for the GOP

:Approximately 40-48 hours from now, the results of the 2010 Mid-Term election will be clear. The Republican party will have near historic gains in the house and may very well win control of the Senate. The size of this political tsunami poses a great danger to the GOP, they may very well misinterpret their victory tomorrow just as much as the Democratic Progressives misinterpreted their victory in 2008.

The Democratic party win two years ago had as much to do with voter “anger” as this years vote. Probably the thing that was most convincing about candidate Barack Obama, was that he was a believable “Washington DC outsider.” His speeches promising a new way of doing things, fighting politics as usual and making those tough decisions that the American people want him to do, was appealing to voters. Of course, it didn’t take long for Americans to see that his new way of doing things was just the same old Chicago-style politics, his fighting politics as usual was hiring every ex-Clinton appointee that he could dig up and supplement them with fringe progressives and his way of listening to what the American people wanted was to push through programs they didn’t want like TARP 2, The government buy out of GM and Chrysler, Cap and Trade and of course Obamacare. And when it became obvious the stimulus plan wasn’t working, America wanted the unspent dollars used to bring down the debt, once again the will of the people was ignored.

To be clear the anticipated GOP victory tomorrow is not a swing to the Republican Party as much as it is a swing against Washington politics as usual. The Democrats happen to be the party in power and the GOP happens to be benefiting from the fact that they are the party out of power. As Scott Rasmussen said in today’s WSJ:

SEIZE THE DAY

by Sher Zieve, ©2010″

Carpe Diem,” or “Seize the Day,” comes from a poem by the Roman lyric poet HoraceNov. 2, 2010 — Since the beginnings of our country, the 2 November 2010 election cycle is the most important in our nation’s history. To be sure, there have been other times in said history that were perilous, most notably under the progressive aka leftist, Marxist, fascist reins and reigns of Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter and even Teddy Roosevelt. During their respective presidencies especially under Wilson, who created the Committee on Public Information [CPI] our nation’s first true ministry of propaganda–one which would prove to be [amongst other Wilson offerings] an inspiration to then burgeoning Nazi Germany.

But, none of these can compare to today’s overt war of the totalitarians waging destruction and outright suppression against We-the-People and OUR country. Note: When The Obama said–over and over again–”Yes, we can!”, he was actually saying “Yes, I can destroy you and your country and you will come to love your enslavement–or else!”

While Republicans are expected to make extraordinary gains in today’s elections, the most radical Democrat members of Congress – notably a House caucus founded as an arm of a Marxist socialist organization – are expected to emerge mostly unscathed.

WND previously reported the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which boasts 83 members, was founded by the Democratic Socialists of America, or DSA.

Almost all of the members come from districts in which Democrats are expected to win.

The hot best-seller “The Manchurian President,” by Aaron Klein, reveals inside story on Team Obama and its members. Now available autographed at WND’s Superstore!

One member, Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kirkpatrick, D-Mich., already lost her primary. According to predictions by the Cook Political Report, only one Progressive Caucus member, Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy. D-Ohio, is predicted to lose. The races for three caucus members – Reps. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., Phil Hare, D-Ill., and John H. Hall, D-N.Y. – are considered toss ups.

The seats of five other Caucus members are considered in play but are leaning Democratic: Reps. Loretta Sanchez, D- Calif., David Loebsack, D-Iowa, Chellie Pingree D-Maine, Maurice Hinchey, D-N.Y., and Barney Frank, D-Mass. Others are in safe districts.

The Television Commercial About The National Debt That Is Being Banned By Major Networks

The American Dream [1]
Nov 2, 2010

A new television ad about the U.S. national debt produced by Citizens Against Government Waste has been deemed “too controversial” by major networks including ABC, A&E and The History Channel and will not be shown on those channels. The commercial is a homage to a 1986 ad that was entitled “The Deficit Trials” that was also banned by the major networks.  Apparently telling the truth about the national debt is a little too “hot” for the major networks to handle.  But perhaps it is time to tell the American people the truth.  In 1986, the U.S. national debt was around 2 trillion dollars.  Today, it is rapidly approaching 14 trillion dollars. The American Dream is being ripped apart right in front of our eyes, but apparently some of the major networks don’t want the American people to really understand what is going on.

The truth is that the ad does not even have anything in it that should be offensive. The commercial is set in the year 2030, and the main character is a Chinese professor that is seen lecturing his students on the fall of great empires. As images of the United States are shown on a screen behind him, the Chinese professor tells his students the following about the behavior of great empires: “They all make the same mistakes. Turning their backs on the principles that made them great. America tried to spend and tax itself out of a great recession. Enormous so-called “stimulus” spending, massive changes to health care, government takeover of private industries, and crushing debt.”

Questions Surround Photos of Kneeling Man Watching President Pass

Two pictures of a man kneeling next to President Barack Obama’s vehicle as the President passes by have drawn controversy and speculation in the closing days of the campaign cycle for the 2010 midterm election. Some online commentators have speculated that the man appears homeless, perhaps because his jacket seems slightly dirty.

The first in a series of two photos of a man kneeling as President Obama's car passes. In the first of the two photos, a man kneels, mouth closed, as President Obama’s vehicle passes in front of him.

The second of two pictures showing a man kneeling as President Obama's car passes. In this photo, the second of the two, the man’s mouth is open and he seems to be straightening up slightly.

The man’s right hand seems to be wrapped in a clean white bandage in the second picture. In the second picture, viewers can see that the man has other people behind him. Two women seem to be taking pictures. One man appears to be on the phone. Another woman is smiling at the President’s car as it passes. No one seems to be paying any attention to the kneeling man.In the first picture, the man’s mouth is closed and his upper body is bent slightly forward. In the second picture, his mouth seems to be open and his body is a little straighter. Some have suggested that the man appears to be begging, but one body language expert who spoke only on condition of anonymity points out that the begging interpretation might be flawed. For one thing, the expert says, the man’s hands appear to be clasped together asymmetrically, suggesting a potentially ritualistic meaning. The two pictures also seem to suggest that the man could be rocking, the expert continued. Finally the expert noted the man’s eyes appear to be looking at the side of the President’s vehicle, not in the direction of a person. Some bloggers have proposed that the man might be praying for Obama, or even to Obama, perhaps motivated by the President’s charisma. While Obama’s polling numbers have dropped off dramatically since his election, many of his supporters are still quite fervent.

For some, the praying interpretation seemed to suggest similarities to the woman who mouthed “I love you, Barack” at a town hall meeting in Florida in 2009:

America’s Patriots are Obama’s Enemies.

Video of John Boehner‘s short speech at an Election Eve rally in Ohio.America’s Patriots are Obama‘s Enemies. In all fairness, Obama did try to back track on his statement, but, only after John Boehner’s remarks were published by Politico, in advance of his speech.

Obama now says, “Now, I did also say if you’re going to punish somebody, punish your enemies, and I probably should have used the word, “opponents” instead of enemies. Now the Republicans are saying that I’m calling them enemies. What I’m saying is you’re an opponent of this particular provision, comprehensive immigration reform, which is something very different.”

However the fact remains that he DID SAY IT, and it was NOT said, only in the contexts of immigration reform, because he went on to say, “Those aren’t the kinds of folks who represent our core American values.” Sadly, it has become quite clear that Obama has no idea what the core values of American are.

This quote came to mind as I was voting this morning. I thought I would take a moment and get “tight in the throat” as the Duke indicates in the video clip. Hope you remember what we are all fighting for, and enjoy!

“I’M SLEEPING ON A CONCRETE FLOOR”

by Sharon Rondeau

Why was the hearing for Walter Fitzpatrick closed to the public today, but a reporter from the Advocate & Democrat has made statements which directly contradict Fitzpatrick’s? Who is on whose payroll?Nov. 1, 2010 —Today is the sixth day of imprisonment in the Monroe County detention center for Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III, who was originally arrested on April 1, 2010 after attempting to make a legal citizen’s arrest of the grand jury foreman, Gary Pettway, who has been serving in that capacity for at least 20 years. Mr. Fitzpatrick contacted The Post & Email this afternoon from the Monroe County detention facility about a new development in his case.

LCDR FITZPATRICK: I’m sleeping on the concrete floor. It’s like an icebox in here, freezing cold. I’m told this is the most complained-about correctional facility in the state of Tennessee. It’s not good at all. I’m told there have been over 900 lawsuits filed against this place following complaints. Nothing happens.

What we need right now is an aggressive, immediate federal response in here.

Why I Now Vote Party, Not Individual

November 2, 2010 Leave a comment

There is an American tradition of voting not for the party, but “for the man.” Unlike Europeans, who are more ideologically driven, Americans have prided themselves in assessing individuals of both parties, and then voting for the more personally impressive candidate. The European parliamentary system of government fosters ideological voting whereas the American political system does to a much lesser degree.

With only two parties competing in American elections, each party has had to encompass a much wider spectrum of ideologies. This is no longer the case. For better or for worse, the notion of voting for the candidate rather than the party is now mostly naive idealism. The Democratic Party is now fully left-wing, and is simply the American version of any European Social Democratic party. It is the party of ever-expanding government. The Republican Party, in contrast, is — at long last — the party of small government.Excerpt Read more at townhall.com …
