Obama forgets the Coast Guard

December 3, 2010 1 comment

President Obama needed a little help from the troops in Afghanistan on Friday as he thanked the military branches for their work but forgot to mention the Coast Guard.“I think we’ve got every service here tonight,” Obama said at Bagram Air Base. He then called on the branches as their members cheered: “We’ve got Army. We’ve got Navy. We’ve got Air Force. I think we may have a few Marines around, too.”

“RULES” HAVE REPLACED THE CONSTITUTION AND DEPRIVED THE CITIZENS OF THEIR GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS

by Ron Ewart, ©2010

We are no longer governed by the U.S. and state Constitutions; hence, false imprisonments by activist judges, land grabs, and the passage of unconstitutional laws with regularityDec. 3, 2010 — “Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.

I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” — Thomas Jefferson“Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced.” — Albert Einstein“If you have ten thousand regulations you destroy all respect for the law.” — Winston ChurchillThere you have it. Three admonitions by well respected leaders of countries and science and in its 234-year history, America has violated all three. American law has become the will of tyrants that violate the unalienable, God-given rights of individuals, too many laws have been passed such that millions of laws and rules are leading us towards a police state, if we aren’t there already and passing laws that cannot or will not, or are too complicated to be enforced, is an all-too-common occurrence.

WHY I TEACH LAW AND GOVERNMENT THE WAY I DO

WHY I TEACH LAW AND GOVERNMENT THE WAY I DO

There is a very important reason for teaching law the way I do.   Rather than explain in detail what that method is, I invite new readers to examine the more than 450 Posts, which attempt to demonstrate that method.  This Post examines the rationale for the method.

All laws originate in nature.  The first of the Organic Laws, the Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776 cites the “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” as our source of freedom.  When you know the origin of a thing, subsequent examinations of that thing will either confirm your past knowledge of it or cause you to re-evaluate what you thought you knew.   What follows in capsule form is an extreme summary of what my Students are learning.

The power of the Congress of the United States to make laws is found in Article I Section 1: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”  That lawmaking power is then restricted by the process described in Article I Section 7 of the Constitution of September 17, 1787.

The power to tax is granted in Article I Section 8 to “The Congress” meaning the one identified in Article I Section 1 of the Constitution of September 17, 1787.  This power of taxation is expressly limited to the United States, which my Students learn to prove is the land owned by the United States of America.   George Washington took this oath to support the land owned by the United States of America:  “I, George Washington, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” “So help me God.”  This oral oath is different from the Article VI written oath to support this Constitution, because the office of President of the United States is an employee of Congress.

As “this Constitution” is established when nine States ratify “this Constitution,” the “Constitution of the United States,” in George Washington’s oath  must be whatever land or other property ultimately is owned by the United States of America in those ratifying States.

The Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776 permits only taxation that has been personally consented to by the person to be taxed.  The Articles of Confederation of November 15, 1777 granted no power of taxation over the American people.  The Northwest Ordinance of July 13, 1787 recognized the proprietary power of the United States in Congress assembled to tax settlers and inhabitants of the Northwest Territory for the purpose of reducing the federal debt.  “The Congress” in Article I Section 8 of the Constitution of September 17, 1787 must be limited to taxing only settlers and inhabitants of lands owned by the United States of America exactly as the United States in Congress assembled, under the Articles of Confederation, was limited in prior Organic Laws.

The power of the President of the United States is limited by the un-adopted, yet still ratified Constitution of September 17, 1787, and the legislation enacted pursuant to Article I Section 7 of that Constitution.  From the time of George Washington to Barack Hussein Obama, whatever executive power is exercised by the President of the United States is determined by “a Congress of the United States” and limited to the lands owned by the United States of America and to those who have declared themselves to be citizens of the United States.

George Washington created a secret military dictatorship under cover of the Constitution of the United States.    Yes, George Washington was the first of many tyrants.  The whole story is told in the more than 450 Posts everyone can read here.  Becoming an official Student takes some commitment, however, just for asking you get searchable Organic Laws of the United States of America and regular e-mails.  Contact me at edrivera@edrivera.com

“Police State” episode of hit Ventura show covering FEMA camps pulled from air

December 3, 2010 Leave a comment

This is an update on the now-confirmed bizarre cancellation of the “Police StateFEMA camp episode from TruTV’s schedule, which is apparently due to background pressure.

Alex Jones, a consultant to the show who appears in “Police State”, noticed three weeks ago that the episode was scheduled to air before the then-newest episode on Fridays at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST.

Alex knew that encore episodes were consistently replayed over-and-over prior to brand new Friday premiere episodes, so red flags went up when it did not re-air like all the others. Now that more inconsistencies have been documented, Alex made some phone calls to get to the bottom of the matter. This morning, Alex spoke with Gov. Jesse Ventura and discovered that he was fully aware of the fact that “Police State” had been pulled due to pressure from within the government. The former Minnesota governor and star of the show indicated that he’s not ready to make a full statement yet as he’s still investigating the details and talking with network execs.

However, Ventura urged that people have a right as citizens to contact TruTV and let them know that they want to see it back on air.Write us:truTV600 Third AvenueNew York, NY 10016Call us: 800.268.7856Whatever the full cause of the behind-the-scenes pressure, it is clear that the government does not want audiences discussing FEMA camps and Fusion Centers or looking up H.R. 645, the bill named and read in the episode that authorizes FEMA emergency centers.

Alex has done all he can to make sure the TruTV series is packed with hard-hitting facts and full of real, substantial issues. Though the show employs the dramatic techniques used through television, this is not the typical fluff. People had better understand that these are truly groundbreaking shows that are discussing damning evidence that the establishment doesn’t want sinking into the minds of a mainstream audience.

Who knows if tonight’s water episode investigating lithium, uranium and fluoride being added to drinking water as a means of population control will itself even air or be replayed after the fact.Lovers of liberty and supporters of Conspiracy Theory had better cue their DVRs and other recorders and save the episode for good, because with the censorship we’ve already seen, it is difficult to know how long this program will remain on air, or which episodes it will allow to repeat

Federal Government Has Repeatedly Broken Law To Spy On Americans

December 3, 2010 Leave a comment

The federal government has repeatedly violated legal limits governing the surveillance of U.S. citizens, according to previously secret internal documents obtained through a court battle by the American Civil Liberties Union.

In releasing 900 pages of documents, U.S. government agencies refused to say how many Americans’ telephone, e-mail or other communications have been intercepted under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act – or FISA – Amendments Act of 2008, or to discuss any specific abuses, the ACLU said.

Most of the documents were heavily redacted.ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOWFederal Government Has Repeatedly Broken Law To Spy On Americans 260310banner2Stock up for the Holidays with eFoods Direct and get FREE Shipping! However, semiannual internal oversight reports by the offices of the attorney general and director of national intelligence identify ongoing breaches of legal requirements that limit when Americans are targeted and minimize the amount of data collected.

The documents note that although oversight teams did not find evidence of “intentional or willful attempts to violate or circumvent the law . . . certain types of compliance incidents continue to occur,” as a March 2009 report stated.Full story here.

ACLU: Flying Americans Fear Being Put On Government Watch List

TSA complaints continue to flood in, travelers afraid of government “retaliation” if they complainACLU: Flying Americans Fear Being Put On Government Watch List 031210TSASteve WatsonPrisonplanet.comFriday, Dec 3rd, 2010The American Civil Liberties Union announced today that it is still receiving high volumes of complaints about the new airport screening procedures, and that some travelers say they have not filed official complaints with the TSA because they are fearful of being placed on a government watch list.Last week the ACLU revealed that it had received over 900 complaints about the naked body scanners and the new pat down measures being implemented by the TSA.

That number swelled to over 1000 before November was through, according to the privacy watchdog.“These complaints came from men, women and children who reported feeling humiliated and traumatized by these searches, and, in some cases, comparing their psychological impact to sexual assaults.” the ACLU website noted.Meanwhile, TSA head John Pistole says there were only 49 complaints from travelers over the Thanksgiving weekend, a figure that prompted the TSA to suggest that Americans were largely unconcerned with the new procedures, and were even appreciative of them. The ACLU disputes this notion, however:

The Secret The TSA Doesn’t Want You To Know

December 3, 2010 1 comment

While many Americans think they can skip being sexually molested at the hands of the TSA by avoiding airports, Big Sis has been quietly preparing the groundwork for the total takeover of all public transport and highways by federal government goon squads.

Local police, TSA and Homeland Security agents are already implementing airport-style security measures at bus and train stations, including earlier this year in Tampa, where bomb-sniffing dogs and grope downs were used to check passengers.

As we reported earlier this year, as the national outrage surrounding the TSA’s use of naked body scanners at airports simmered, the feds had already purchased hundreds of x-ray scanners mounted in vans that were being used to randomly scan vehicles, passengers and homes in complete violation of the 4th amendment and with wanton disregard for any health consequences.

In addition, as was announced way back in 2005, VIPR teams now patrol Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and Los Angeles rail lines; ferries in Washington state; bus stations in Houston; and mass transit systems in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore, “expanding their work beyond airplanes, launching counterterror surveillance at train stations and other mass transit facilities.”
