Rand Paul: Reaction To Arizona Shooting Manufactured Out Of Rahm Emanuel Playbook 130111feature3

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has hit out at politicians and those in the media that have attempted to use the tragic shooting in Arizona as a political point scoring exercise.

Appearing on Freedom Watch with Andrew Napolitano, Paul referred to the former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s notorious assertion [2] “you never want a serious crisis go to waste”.

Speaking of pundits and politicians who have outright blamed the killing spree on political discourse and sought to introduce legislation to curb such rhetoric, the Senator stated:

“Well, these are the kind of things that I think some on the left decided to manufacture even before the events occur. I mean, this is part of the playbook of Rahm Emanuel where they say any crisis should be used to their advantage to further their agenda.”

“The people who politicize this really ought to be ashamed of themselves.” Paul added.

“I think it also does a disservice to those who died, to Judge Roll, who died, to representative Giffords. It’s a disservice to them that all of a sudden this tragedy that involves them in a very personal way, and their families, is being discounted so people on the other side of the political spectrum can make political points.”

“Can you imagine what it would have been like had there been any truth to the fact that this young man had any political beliefs or agenda and wasn’t crazy?” Senator Paul urged.

“But as it turns out, as you said in your piece that you led into, is that apparently the young man had no political motivations, and what I’ve read of his writings, it seemed that he was losing his grip with reality.”

“It’s about the age when we begin to see paranoid schizophrenia erupt, and in all likelihood, this man was criminally insane.”

“I’m not surprised that they do it,” Paul said of the attacks on rhetoric. “I do think they should be ashamed of themselves for doing it and [it] really just has no place in this discussion.”

By MACKUBIN OWENS There are few things more important to a democratic republic than a healthy relationship between its government and its military establishment. CBS News has allowed the following AMAZING Birther letter FROM HAWAII to be posted!!!

CBS News allowed the following comment to be published on its website, following an article about Obama’s visit to Arizona yesterday:

… Who were the doctor(s) and nurse(s) at Kapi`Olani that delivered Barack? My ex-wife worked at the hospital and I understand the records at Kapi’Olani are impeccable. Where are the foot prints? What public records exist that can even demonstrate that Mrs. Obama was even at Kapi’Olani on the day of Barack’s birth? Talk at Kapi`Olani, would have been unabashed, the city of Honolulu at the time very racist towards black people.

More and more information on the lack of evidence of Obama’s birth in Hawaii continues to drip out. The Post and Email has an extensive article with two different long comments posted at the CBS site. Well worth reading.

A further excerpt follows:

It’s a big leap from running into Obama’s father on campus and knowing details of this birth. Especially since Barack’s father was the first papolo “black” person in the 60 year history of UH Manoa at that time to attend grad school. Hence would have attracted lots of looks and attention on campus, none the less having a pregnant white wife. Neil Abercrombie being a lifelong self promoter and attention seeker would have naturally gravitated to Mr. Obama Sr.

This comment “I was here when he was born” is worthless as you were not present at Mr. Obama’s birth.

I doubt also that you can swear under oath that you had ever visited the house Mrs. Obama, your “buddies wife” supposedly lived in on Kalaniana`ole Hwy near Hawai`i Kai.

The two separate birth announcements appearing in the local newspapers, The Honolulu Advertiser and The Honolulu Star-Bulletin, in 1961 needing further clarification. That the two newspapers were operating out of the same building at 605 Kapi`Olani St. That more than likely, the State Dept of Health, in 1961 was not prepared to deal with a birth where validity was in question.

The list of babies being printed prior to amending with Barak’s named stricken from the list. The only public and rather flimsy record contemporaneous to the time being offered to the public.

Who were the doctor(s) and nurse(s) at Kapi`Olani that delivered Barack?

My ex-wife worked at the hospital and I understand the records at Kapi’Olani are impeccable.

Where are the foot prints?

What public records exist that can even demonstrate that Mrs. Obama was even at Kapi’Olani on the day of Barack’s birth? And …

In low density Hawai`ian neighborhoods, the birth of a child is as much a neighborhood event as it is family. Curiosity held by the “local” ladies would have been insatiable. All would have made or gave gifts for the new baby, if for no other reason than to see this new born, regionally unique child.

I haven’t heard a single story about how someone gave this gift or that gift to the new mom or baby. Who were his local “aunties” that cared for the newborn?

Who were these mystery people in Honolulu whose identities and kindness still have yet to be revealed and openly appreciated by Mr. Obama?

After witnessing the effrontery of Barack Obama against the states and our constitution, it is apparent this man has come here for the sole purpose of fomenting a civil war. From day one of his campaign he has made efforts to position himself as a parallel to Lincoln. From his campaign announcement in front of the Illinois state capitol where Lincoln served (with a Lincoln banner behind him), to his announcement of Biden as his running mate (in front of a Lincoln banner), from his quoting of Lincoln (in specious contexts) to his insistence upon swearing in on the same Bible upon which Lincoln was sworn in and even having the exact same MENUE as Lincoln’s inauguration.

Obama Speech Line Lifted from a Letter from Lincoln
Various ^ | Nov. 21, 1864 | Abraham Lincoln

the obamites are always lifting lines from Lincoln. they are quite obsessed with him. tell me that he didn’t crib this line:

Obama last night : “There is nothing I can say that will fill the hole in your hearts, but I know this: the hopes of nation are here with you.”

Lincoln’s letter to Mrs. Lydia Bixby : I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save.

American Indian activist Russell Means explains how history has come full circle

The United States is one big reservation, and we are all in it. So says Russell Means, legendary actor, political activist and leader for the American Indian Movement. Means led the 1972 seizure of the Bureau of Indian Affairs headquarters in Washington, D.C., and in 1973 led a standoff at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, a response to the massacre of at least 150 Lakotah men, women, and children by the U.S. Seventh Cavalry at a camp near Wounded Knee Creek.

American Indian Russell Means gives an eye-opening 90 minute interview in which he explains how Native Americans and Americans in general are all imprisoned within one huge reservation. Means is a leader for the Republic of Lakotah, a movement that has declared its independence from the United States and refused to recognize the authority of presidents or governments, withdrawing from treaties it made with the federal government and defining its borders which cover thousands of square miles in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana.

Means explains how American Indians have been enslaved within de facto prisoner of war camps as a result of the federal government’s restriction of their food supply and the application of colonial tactics, a process that has now also been inflicted on the United States as a whole which has turned into, “one huge Indian reservation,” according to Means.

Means warns that Americans have lost the ability of critical though, and with each successive generation become more irresponsible and as a consequence less free, disregarding a near-perfect document, the Constitution, which was derived from Indian law. Means chronicles the loss of freedom from the 1840′s onwards, which marked the birth of the corporation, to Lincoln’s declaration of martial law, to the latter part of the 19th century and into the 20th when Congress “started giving banks the right to rule,” and private banking interests began printing the money.

“The history of the American and the history of the Indian have now come full circle and are intertwined in the dictatorial policies of those that control the monetary system of America,” remarks Means, pointing out that the elite are now so out of control that they are destroying themselves as well as the country.

Barack Obama has it both ways
Daily Telegraph ^ | July 13, 2011 | Janet Daley

…I am truly sorry to place such a terrible event in what appears a cynical, calculatedly political context but truly, democratic politics is about moral leadership and persuasion as much as anything else. A critique of the quality of Mr Obama’s speech is not a frivolous show business review: it is central to the concept of free debate and how it is to be conducted. So how did he do? There had been much speculation about whether he would criticise those on his own side who have exploited the tragedy for opportunistic purposes – accusing the Right of creating a “venomous” atmosphere in which such violent acts are triggered. And yes, he did that in pretty clear terms. We cannot, he said, use this occasion as one more excuse to turn on one another, especially when there was no evidence at all to show that the murder was provoked by exposure to political language. But he also said that this was a moment for everybody to take stock of the vehement rhetoric that had become commonplace in American national discourse – which, if you are so inclined, can be taken as a direct hit at Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement.

“The battle has never changed from the beginning. It is “the seed of the serpent against the seed of the woman.” The battle is over truth, but not political truth, it is over eternal truth…”

Some Random Thoughts
The battle has never changed from the beginning. It is “the seed of the serpent against the seed of the woman.” The battle is over truth, but not political truth, it is over eternal truth. Unfortunately, most people are unaware of this even though their Bible tells them that they “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

PRAISE FOR LEE AND JACKSON

By Chuck Baldwin
January 13, 2011
NewsWithViews.com

January is often referred to as “Generals Month” since no less than four famous Confederate Generals claimed January as their birth month: James Longstreet (Jan. 8, 1821), Robert E. Lee (Jan. 19, 1807), Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson (Jan. 21, 1824), and George Pickett (Jan. 28, 1825). Two of these men, Lee and Jackson, are particularly noteworthy.

Without question, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were two of the greatest military leaders of all time. Even more, many military historians regard the Lee and Jackson tandem as perhaps the greatest battlefield duo in the history of warfare. If Jackson had survived the battle of Chancellorsville, it is very possible that the South would have prevailed at Gettysburg and perhaps would even have won the War Between the States.

In fact, it was Lord Roberts, commander-in-chief of the British armies in the early twentieth century, who said, “In my opinion, Stonewall Jackson was one of the greatest natural military geniuses the world ever saw. I will go even further than that–as a campaigner in the field, he never had a superior. In some respects, I doubt whether he ever had an equal.”

While the strategies and circumstances of the War of Northern Aggression can (and will) be debated by professionals and laymen alike, one fact is undeniable: Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. Jackson were two of the finest Christian gentlemen this country has ever produced. Both their character and their conduct were beyond reproach.

Unlike his northern counterpart, Ulysses S. Grant, General Lee never sanctioned or condoned slavery. Upon inheriting slaves from his deceased father-in-law, Lee freed them. And according to historians, Jackson enjoyed a familial relationship with those few slaves that were in his home. In addition, unlike Abraham Lincoln and U.S. Grant, there is no record of either Lee or Jackson ever speaking disparagingly of the black race.

As those who are familiar with history know, General Grant and his wife held personal slaves before and during the War Between the States, and, contrary to popular opinion, even Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation did not free the slaves of the North. They were not freed until the Thirteenth Amendment was passed after the conclusion of the war. Grant’s excuse for not freeing his slaves was that “good help is so hard to come by these days.”
