Marines Pass the Huey Torch
A Marine Corps helicopter known as one of the Vietnam Era‘s most iconic aircraft is officially history.
The Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 HMLA-469 and Marine Light Attack Training Squadron 303 HMLA-T 303 honored the UH-1N Huey in a farewell ceremony at MCAS Camp Pendleton Friday afternoon.
The old “November” model huey is being replaced by the next generation, UH-1Y “Yankee” aircraft, which flies faster, lifts more and uses more powerful weapons.
The Yankee is also equipped with advanced computer operating systems that mimic video-gaming system controls and displays.Crews with HMLA-469 were the first to use the new UH-1Y during combat operations in Afghanistan last year.
Pilots say the chopper performed exceptionally well in the hot dusty climate in Helmand Province.

What Does the Bible Mean by “the Flesh” ??
…What then is meant by the term “the flesh” ἡ σὰρξ? Perhaps most plainly it refers to that part of us that is alienated from God. It is the rebellious, unruly and obstinate part of our inner self that is operative all the time. It is that part of us that does not want to be told what to do.
It is stubborn, refuses correction, and does not want to have a thing to do with God. It bristles at limits and rules. It recoils at anything that might cause me to be diminished or something less than the center of the universe.
The flesh hates to be under authority or to have to yield to anything other than its own wishes and desires. The flesh often desires something simply because it is forbidden. The Protestants often call the flesh our “sin nature” which is not a bad term in summarizing what the flesh is. In Catholic tradition the flesh is where concupiscence sets up shop.
Concupiscence refers to the string inclination to sin that is in us as a result of the wound of Original Sin. If you do not think that your flesh is strong, just try to pray for five minutes and watch how quickly your mind wants to think of anything but God. Just try to fast or be less selfish and watch how your flesh goes to war….
Geologist: Shaking Wasn’t Florida Earthquake…….
- Investigators are trying to solve a bizarre mystery in Flagler County. A wave of people called 911 around 9:30am Friday to report the ground shaking in Flagler County. The calls all came from the Hammock area of Palm Coast see map.
However, people in the north Daytona area, as well as in Deltona and as far north as St. Augustine, said they felt it as well. Many people were worried that the shaking was an earthquake.
The Emergency Management Office was on the phone all day trying to figure out the cause of the shaking. Residents said that buildings were shaking, and even a dispatcher in the county felt it happen.

“[The Jews are] using their power, and they have power in every direction … power over the White House, power over Congress,” Thomas told Playboy Contributing Editor David Hochman.
“Everybody is in the pocket of the Israeli lobbies, which are funded by wealthy supporters, including those from Hollywood.

Gadhafi threatens to join ‘holy war’ against West
Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi says if Western leaders decide to attack his country, he’ll join with al-Qaida in a “holy war,” unleashing a flood of illegal immigrants into Europe and backing known terror fomenters, according to a report from Joseph Farah‘s G2 Bulletin.
Gadhafi originally had accused al-Qaida of creating the opposition to him inside his own country.But now he says his forces appear to be pushing the opposition onto the ropes inside Libya, and he doesn’t like the United Nations adopting a no-fly zone over Libya, or the fact Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, hinted in a speech that other military action may be forthcoming from the West .She did not specify what that would be.
The Obama administration has made it clear that it will not take unilateral action and insists on an international response if the decision is made to take military action against Libya.Previously, Gadhafi said his regime is opposed to Islamist extremists in the region, although he has a history of supporting terrorists, with Libyans constituting the single largest bloc of membership in al-Qaida outside the Saudis.Now Gadhafi has offered to help facilitate an al-Qaida sweep from the Middle East and North Africa that would then threaten Europe.

Exactly as we predicted would happen, authorities have cited “miniscule” levels of radiation reaching California as an excuse with which to downplay the threat to Americans of fallout crossing the Pacific from Japan, completely ignoring the fact that the bulk of the radiation from the two blasts at the Fukushima power plant will not reach the west coast until Monday.
“Radioactive fallout from Japan’s crippled nuclear plant has reached Southern California but the first readings are far below levels that could pose a health hazard, a diplomat said Friday.”“Initial readings are “about a billion times beneath levels that would be health threatening,” the diplomat told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity because the CTBTO does not make its findings public.”The diplomat called the level of radioactivity “irrelevant,” while another unnamed source told Reuters that the level was “very low.”If the two individuals quoted in the reports are so confident that there is no threat, why are they so keen on remaining anonymous?…………….

Hillary: Cease-Fire Not Good Enough – We Want War!
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday the United States was not impressed by words of cease-fire from the Libyan government and would keep pressing for leader Muammar Gaddafi to step down.
“We are going to be not responsive or impressed by words, we would have to see actions on the ground and that is not yet at all clear,” Clinton said to reporters after meeting with Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister Eamon Gilmore.
“We will continue to work with our partners in the international community to press Gaddafi to leave and to support the legitimate aspirations of the Libyan people,” she said.Libya said it would halt military operations and comply with the U.N. resolution after the United Nations authorized a no-fly zone and attacks on forces loyal to Gaddafi.Full story here.

Sharia Law Gains Foothold in US—Federal Judge Upholds Government Funding of Islam
Last week, Judge Lawrence P. Zatkoff, a federal district court judge in Michigan, dismissed a constitutional challenge to the U.S. Government’s bailout of AIG, which used over a hundred million dollars in federal tax money to support Islamic religious indoctrination through the funding and promotion of Sharia-compliant financing SCF.
SCF is financing that follows the dictates of Islamic law. The challenge was brought by the Thomas More Law Center TMLC, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and co-counsel David Yerushalmi, on behalf of Kevin Murray, a Marine Corps veteran of the Iraqi War. TMLC filed a notice of appeal immediately after the ruling and will be seeking review of the decision in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit………………………
