Supreme Court Sides With People; Federal Reserve Must Tell Us Who Received Money

The Federal Reserve does not want the world to know details of “emergency loans” it made to banks in the financial panic of 2008, but the Supreme Court this week effectively said the Fed must tell us.

It did this by today rejecting an appeal of a lower court ruling to force the Fed to reveal the information.

I do hope the GA leadership wakes up before it is too late for our Constitutional Republic and state sovereignty and their duty to protect their state’s citizens from an out of control Progressive/Socialist lead Washington DC elite establishment in both major parties. If the GA leadership has been warned or threatened about dire consequences for the state of GA via revenge from Obama on federal funded state projects, etc., they should not be fooled. So better to do it by getting these laws in place before the next election. If Obama gets re-elected he’s going to rhetorically eat you all down there in GA anyway.

So get your defenses up now and protect Article II, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution so that our Constitution can still protect the great state of GA and its Citizens from Obama and his criminal machine now unconstitutionally in charge in Washington DC and intimidating everyone who crosses his path.

It will only get worse with Obama. It’s time to start fighting back with every tool the several states can muster before it is too late………………………

Congressman Ron Paul made a sweep of television appearances yesterday to voice his strong opposition to the attack on Libya, and making it clear that the president is subverting US national sovereignty by bypassing Congress to engage in illegal acts of aggression.

Appearing on Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano, the Congressman pulled no punches when explaining why he believes Obama went to the UN for authority to drop bombs on Libya, rather than congress.“I think he philosophically believes in one world government,” Paul stated.

“He wants to keep nudging us in that direction. I don’t believe he has a conviction that national sovereignty has any value. So therefore if they can diminish the Congress.” he continued.“If he diminishes the Congress and he can get his authority from the United Nations then this enhances what he believes in. But he is not alone, the leadership in both parties has been nudging in that direction for a long time.” the Congressman added.

“To think of all the effort that the founders went to to make the Congress the most important body, that they are now the most willing to give up their prerogatives and give it to the executive branch and the judicial branch, and onward and onward. Our leaderships in the House as long as I’ve been there have always deferred to the executive branch.” he said.

Paul once again urged the American people to recognize the military incursion into Libya as a war of opportunity.“It is unnecessary, it is wrong, it has nothing to do with national security, it has nothing to do with the defence of this country.” he said.“I think there is more to do with it than just that.

That may be their cover. It may be that oil is an important issue here. We didn’t go to Rwanda for humanitarian reasons, so I’m not to sure that oil might not be the real clincher here.”

Herman Cain: Many Muslims Want to ‘Kill’ or ‘Convert all Infidels’

Potential Republican presidential contender Herman Cain is known for his straight-talking style and willingness to discuss issues other politicians dare not touch. In his latest interview with Christianity Today, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO opened up about his faith, his calling in life and his aspirations for political office.

In blunt terms, Cain, a Christian, made no bones about his thoughts on the role of Muslims in modern American society and…“God didn’t keep me here to go play golf, and relax, and take life easy,” he said, referring to his against-the-odds battle back against stage-4 cancer.

“I believe that my life was spared because God had something really big that he wanted me to do. And that’s unfolding.”

Cain also admitted that the though of running for president is something he’s only considered recently. “It was only about nine or ten months ago that, as I watched the first year of the Obama administration, as I watched failing policies, as I watched broken promises, as I watched and read about 15 million people staying unemployed, I couldn’t sit back when I had collected some common sense ideas.”

“I cannot sit still and watch the direction of this country towards radical socialism and not do what I can do,” he said. “Is there somebody else who might be better at being President of the United States than Herman Cain?

There might be. But the people are going to determine that. But I couldn’t sit back and hope that a great leader emerges, or hope that someone becomes President that would tackle the issues the way I would tackle them.”

Today Barack Obama told reporters that Gaddafi can stay.

Politico 44 reported:President Obama indicated on Tuesday that Muammar Qadhafi may still have an opportunity to “change his approach” and put in place “significant reforms” in the Libyan government.

Asked by NBC’s Savannah Guthrie what the U.S. commitment is in Libya if Qadhafi remains in power but continues to pose a threat to his people, Obama appeared to leave the door open for political reforms.

“You are absolutely right that as long as Qadhafi remains in power, and unless he changes his approach and there are significant reforms in the Libyan government that allow the Libyan people to express themselves, there are still going be potential threats against Libyan people—unless he is going to step down,” Obama said.

His quick shift back to what he had earlier stated—that Qadhafi must step down—is more in line with the conclusion that he and his administration officials had come to weeks ago.

But a return to the call for “political reforms” is reminiscent of the White House position on Egypt during its upheaval.

It’s settled then. Gaddafi can stay… Until tomorrow’s press conference.

White House officials told Democratic and Republican congressional aides Tuesday that the U.S. is not at war with Libya and, without laying out a timeline, that the president hopes to hand over control of coalition military operations in the next few days.

Officials present included representatives from the White House Legislative Affairs Office, several members of the intelligence community, a Treasury aide and Gene Cretz, the recently recalled U.S. ambassador to Libya, sources told POLITICO.Aides in attendance said the administration didn’t shed much new light on the situation.

“You learn more by having read the paper,” one said.The unclassified briefing, delivered to House and Senate aides in a Capitol Visitor Center auditorium, comes amid criticism that the administration did not consult enough with Congress before launching missile strikes on Libyan air defenses over the weekend.Under the War Powers Act, the president is authorized to deploy U.S. forces for up to 48 hours before notifying Congress.

House and Senate leaders, as well as the chairmen and ranking minority members of relevant committees, were briefed on the administration’s plans during a Friday meeting in the Situation Room.

On Monday, the president sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner R-Ohio and Senate President Pro Tempore Daniel K. Inouye D-Hawaii to fulfill his notification obligation under the War Powers Act.

First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim.The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle.In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can ‘opt out.’

Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama’s history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President.The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii.And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court.Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years….

US Kill Teams Target Afghan Civilians as Trophies

The longer the war continues, unfortunately, the more opportunity there is for young soldiers to behave badly and even brutally. In Iraq there was the Abu Ghraib scandal, where US troops humiliated and even tortured incarcerated opponents of the US occupation.

And now there is the Afghan “Kill Team” scandal in which rogue US troops apparently murdered civilians and then posed next to their carcasses, as if the dead were big game trophies.To its credit, the US Army has acted. Twelve men are currently being tried for their roles in killing three civilians as part of these activities. But the problem is apparently bigger than this as Germany‘s Der Spiegal magazine has reportedly obtained more than FOUR THOUSAND Kill Team photos, many apparently showing Americans posing with dead Afghans.

Der Spiegal, so far, plans on publishing no more than three photos; the popular news site Drudge.com has posted them as well, in today’s “lede.” Top US brass has been in full damage-control mode for over 100 days, according to media reports……

….but I just can’t trust Chairman Obama’s motives for his UNCONSTITUTIONAL attack on Libya.

Before we continue, Let me be, as our Kenyan President likes to say, “perfectly clear”: Moammar Qadaffi is a lump of excrement. He has been a state sponsor of terror who has taken American lives. The 1986 disco bombing and the Lockerbie bombing in 1988.

If anyone deserves to die, it’s this piece of filth. When Qadaffi Duck is out of power, the world will breathe a small sigh of relief.However, this article is not about Qadaffi.

This article is about another Islamic dictator, Barack Hussein Obama.Chairman Obama has given us no reason whatsoever not to doubt his motives or trust his judgement in this matter.

After all in no particular order : •Didn’t Obama’s Department of Injustice sue the state of Arizona for having the gall to defend itself against the Mexican Trickle Invasion and refuse to send troops to the southern border, yet he rushed to send troops to Haiti and Libya ? •

Didn’t Chairman Obama turn his back on the only genuine democracy movement in the Middle East, Iran’s Green Revolution ? Didn’t he say he didn’t want to be seen as “meddling” ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama sit on his hands while General Stanley McChrystal damn near begged for additional troops in Afghanistan, yet he rushed troops to Haiti and Libya ? •

Didn’t Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, hand 900 million dollars to Hamas ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama call Egypt’s new military dictatorship a “democracy” ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama ask the UN’s permission instead of Congress’ permission to attack Libya ? •Aren’t many of these so-called Libyan “freedom fighters” al-Qaeda operatives ?

Obama doesn’t tell you what he’s thinking. He keeps his motives to himself. Cherished long-term ideological goals are advanced as pragmatic fixes to concrete problems in the present. Now we’re seeing the familiar domestic pattern in foreign policy as well.

Few Americans realize that Obama has had a longstanding interest in multilateral efforts to combat war crimes and genocide.

Obama would like to see a more constraining international legal regime on war crimes, even at the cost of national sovereignty, not to mention the blood and treasure of the countries doing the enforcing.

In general, Obama has said little about his larger foreign policy goals.

To the extent that he has done so, Obama seems more the “realist” than an advocate of humanitarian intervention.

Yet for years, Samantha Power, a prominent advocate of humanitarian intervention and a key backer of our action in Libya, has been a powerful member of Obama’s foreign policy team.

In 2005, Obama contacted Power after reading her book on genocide. There followed a long conversation, after which Power left Harvard to work for Obama, quic‘kly emerging as his senior foreign policy advisor.

International Support For The Libyan War Is Collapsing

Support for Operation Odyssey Dawn is withering.China, which abstained from voting for the UN resolution to bomb Libya, is now calling for an immediate cease-fire, according to the AP.Yesterday, it emerged that Russia, which also abstained from voting, resisted pressure from Vladimir Putin to veto the resolution. Anyway, Russia has also called for an end to the airstrikes.Italy has threatened to withdrawauthorization for the use of its air bases.

Norway said its jets would not take part in the operation until the ‘command and control structure’ and ‘rules of engagement’ were clear.The only consolation is that Operation Odyssey Dawn has already accomplished its major goals, taking out Qaddafi’s air force and protecting Benghazi. Amid the ongoing coalitional bombardment of Libya it turns out President Obama may have had no constitutional authority for ordering US military involvement. US Rep. from Ohio Dennis Kucinixh says the use of US armed forces is unconstitutional, explaining Obama had no authority to commit US resources without congressional approval.

The US now finds itself involved into another war in addition to Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan. ‘Bombing villages in order to save villages’ — that didn’t work in Vietnam, Kucinich explained. In fact, he argued this time around the Libyan intervention could end up strengthening US enemies.

The “rapture” has been a convenient escape hatch for Christians. When times worsened, the “rapture” was preached with great vitality. Millions were assured that before all hell breaks loose that they would be taken to heaven to watch the Great Tribulation from up above the heavens so bright.Lasseigne manufactures a “rapture” theology in Revelation 4:1–2. John told to “come up here” is thought to be a “symbolic picture of the rapture” 76.

This is a common interpretation among dispensationalists. Lasseigne isn’t the first one to use it. Tim LaHaye made it the cornerstone of his Revelation rapture theology. For those who claim to interpret prophecy literally, Revelation 4:1-2 says nothing about the church being taken to heaven prior to a seven-year tribulation period, but LaHaye argues for it anyway even though the phrase “seven years” does not appear in Revelation.

America’s descent into strategic dementia

The US’s new war against Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi is the latest sign of its steady regional decline. In media interviews over the weekend, US military chief Adm. Michael Mullen was hard-pressed to explain either the goal of the military strikes in Libya or their strategic rationale.

Mullen’s difficulty explaining the purpose of this new war was indicative of the increasing irrationality of US foreign policy.
