I would respectfully suggest to you, sir, that the work you are doing could be likened to “re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic” while the nation is in danger of sinking beneath the waves of an unprecedented Constitutional and leadership crisis which has engulfed the nation.

We have a criminal incompetent Marxist usurper, and very likely an illegal alien, in the White House. This person is violating the United States Constitution every day he is in office, and in a multitude of ways, yet I see no evidence that you are concerned about this most urgent and critical matter, even to the slightest degree.

Please read the following excerpt from an article published today by the Canada Free Press, authored by Dr. Gerald Stephens, a former Marine, and provide me with your substantive response, something which you have so far failed to do in spite of numerous messages to your office and private meetings with you and your staff on this subject:

There is also dismay and disgust for other Republicans that are seemingly retarded or deaf. Their miserable cowardice to confront and resolve the perilous conditions afflicting the existence of our freedom and liberty is beyond comprehension. Obama Speech Analysis: a Weird Journey Through the Mind of a Narcissist

The President’s address was an exercise in psychodrama, a weird journey through the mind of a narcissist who can’t believe all the nasty things people are saying about him.

Obama‘s id is wrestling with the comparisons between his Libyan intervention and George Bush’s action in Iraq. He made a point of criticizing Iraq, which had a vastly larger international coalition behind it than Obama does now, united in the struggle to depose an even more gruesome and sadistic monster than Qaddafi. He warned us that we might be stuck in post-Qaddafi Libya for a while because “40 years of terror left Libya fractured.” The left never cut Bush any slack for trying to rebuild a country traumatized by decades of terror from Saddam Hussein.

The President’s ego is very sensitive to the criticism that his handling of the Libyan situation was lazy and disengaged. He’s constructed a new narrative in his own mind, where he “created the conditions for others to step up,” leading the Europeans to declare “a willingness to commit resources.” Thus does Obama retroactively become the hero of a military operation France, England, and Hillary Clinton dragged him into, and which he authorized with a few peevish phone calls from a South American junket.

Obama is clearly working through some deep issues about the Clintons. He took a few unexpected, oblique shots at Bill Clinton, noting that “the international community waited more than a year” before intervening in Bosnia, while Obama got ordinance dropped on Tripoli “in 31 days.” He also congratulated himself for refusing “to wait for images of slaughter and mass graves before taking action.” You might want to put some ice on that, Mr. Clinton.

Obama Deconstructed: An Interview with Jack Cashill

Donald Trump’s recent comments calling for President Obama to show his birth certificate have brought added pressure on him to do so, because it seems to have been the impetus for at least some discussion of it in the mainstream media. But in reality, the unwillingness of Obama to release his original, long-form birth certificate is just one piece of much larger narrative that brings into question much of Obama’s past.

In an exclusive interview with Accuracy in Media, journalist and author Jack Cashill recently discussed his new book, Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves and Letters of America’s First Postmodern President. In it, Cashill makes a convincing case that Obama did not write the two books that helped launch his candidacy, Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope. He argues that Dreams was actually written by William Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist who was a founder of the communist Weather Underground.

Through comparative writing samples, comments at unguarded moments by Ayers, and reporting by author Christopher Andersen in his book Barack and Michelle: Portrait of An American Marriage, Cashill is very persuasive. By comparing Obama’s book to Ayers’ book, Fugitive Days: A Memoir, Cashill finds examples of the same unlikely spelling errors in each, a number of the same listed literary influences, and similar qualities and features in the writing that are understandable for Ayers, but not likely at all, according to Cashill’s analysis, for Obama.

Trump fails to produce birth certificate

Donald Trump made headlines earlier today when he provided what he said was a copy of his birth certificate — but a quick check reveals it’s actually not an official document.

The paper that Trump released says “Jamaica Hospital” on top and lists the date and time of what he says was his birth to “Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Trump.” The piece of paper has a seal at the bottom.

But after several New York City-based readers contacted POLITICO‘s Maggie Haberman, her call to city officials revealed that an actual birth certificate, which is issued by the Department of Health, would have the agency’s seal and also a signature of the city registrar – neither of which the Trump document has. Officials said the city Health Department is the “sole issuing authority” of official birth certificates in New York, and that the document would clearly say so, and “city officials said it’s not an official document.”

It appears instead to be a hospital “certificate of birth,” meaning the piece of paper the hospital gave to his family saying he was born. Such a document typically has the signature of the hospital administrator and the attending physician.

Devvy Kidd — Presidential election: one giant fraud

My last column on hold your nose and vote brought a ton of email. Americans are clearly going ballistic over McCain and Obama being their ‘only choices’. Some people sent mail accusing me of trying to get Obama elected by promoting a write in effort for Ron Paul, i.e.,: “Devvy, you write a good argument against McCain and Obama but your answer to vote for a write in does not cut it.”

What did I say about a write in which appeared at the very end of my column? “Americans who intend to vote for Chuck Baldwin or write in Ron Paul’s name are being called traitors by their fellow Americans.” Somehow in Linda’s mind, my answer to the hold your nose and vote trap is a write in campaign, which I never wrote. What I pointed out is that Americans who choose to vote their conscience are called traitors. How American is that? This is reminiscent of a blasting, thousand word email I received from a woman who accused me of being a bigot for “slamming” Sarah Palin‘s religion. What have I written about Palin’s religion? One sentence: “This is a short video of Palin’s speech and those statements at her former church; I believe its called Pentecostal Fundamentalist.” This apparently constitutes bigotry.

Others were incensed and accused me of trying to split the vote by encouraging people to vote for a third party which would hand the election to Obama. For this, I was branded traitor in those emails. No where in my column did I encourage anyone to do anything with their vote. This reminds me of Rod Serling‘s classic, You are now entering the Twilight Zone. I suppose I will be blamed for McCain’s bizarre behavior and his campaign sinking this past week faster than Wall Street.

The point of my column was that here we are again four years later singing the same refrain: hold your nose and vote. The question is: how did America end up with Obama and McCain? Top of the list is ignorant voters. These are Americans who have zero understanding of the issues, the constitution or the founding of this nation. If you watch this short video, you will see how ordinary Americans explain why they’re voting for a particular candidate. It goes without saying that I think Howard Stern is a a foul mouthed individual of the first order, but listen to this brief audio of interviews conducted in Harlem. Do sit down or you’re likely to fall down in shock.

Clinton & Gates Suggest Constitution No Longer Supreme

Recall how confused many of us were by the Obama candidacy? Remember how we laughed at “community organizing,” “hope,” and “change?” Do you recall the promise of “fundamental transformation,” and how few of us understood what it really meant?

If we learned anything from the Obama candidacy, it’s that we ought to be on our highest guard when this president is at his most perplexing. It is a mistake to dismiss what seems nonsensical and assume there is no method to the madness.

Since American military action began against Libya, confusion has reigned among policymakers and pundits. Some have pointed out the glaring inconsistency between President Obama’s past comments and his current actions, while others stretch the limits of credulity in an attempt to reconcile the disparity.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton added to the cacophony on Sunday. She appeared alongside Secretary of Defense Robert Gates on ABC’s This Week. In response to questioning by Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper, Clinton provided some insight into the administration’s mindset. It suggests that, while the rest of us may be confused, this administration may not be.

During his campaign for the Presidency, in December, 2007, Barack Obama told The Boston Globe that “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”

Earlier in 2007, then-Senator Hillary Clinton said in a speech on the Senate floor that, “If the administration believes that any — any — use of force against Iran is necessary, the President must come to Congress to seek that authority.”

Tapper asked Clinton, “Why not [go] to Congress [to authorize action against Libya]?…”

Trump A Birther? I’m Betting It’s Not Personal, It’s Just Business

Donald Trump is on an extensive media tour telling anyone who will listen (including, in the last week alone, Fox & Friends, Geraldo Rivera, and the ladies of The View) about his concerns regarding President Obama’s birth certificate.

Many are wondering whether Trump truly believes Obama might have been born in another country or whether he is simply using this as an opportunity for self-promotion and media attention (which, if true, seems to be working, the ratings for Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice just hit a season high). However, I propose that neither theory is true. Instead, Trump has merely made a dispassionate and calculated business decision that exploiting a weakness in a competitor is the best strategy for victory. In other words, if Trump is really serious about running for President, he could care less where Obama was actually born, but is very excited to have found an attention-grabbing vulnerability in the President.

Trump’s response to why he didn’t ask for the birth certificate of any past President is simply that his potential opponent is Obama and not any past President. More significantly, if you take his candidacy even somewhat seriously, Trump is using a classic campaign strategy, focus on any chink in the Obama re-election armor. If Trump runs, he wants to win, and part of being successful is making it as difficult as possible for your opponent to triumph, even if that means playing dirty.

Yet many question why bringing up the birth certificate could even be perceived as a winning strategy. Even Karl Rove recently suggested that it’s such a bad strategy for Republicans, and he suspected Obama himself was fueling the controversy in order to make Republicans who focused on it look crazy. However, for those paying close attention, the thrust of Trump’s complaint is not that Obama was born in Kenya and he should be impeached. Instead, it seems Trump’s argument has been why is the most powerful man in the country hiding anything from the people who elected him? Especially given that Obama promised the most transparent White House in history, could Trump’s unanswered plea for Obama to share a document become transformed into an issue of transparency rather than country of origin? Oh boy, now I’m not sure if that makes me a birther too!

Thank you for showing the courage to stand on principle and come out publicly demanding that Obama reveal his original “long-form” birth certificate which is allegedly on file with the Hawaii Department of Health, including this morning when you correctly stated on Fox & Friends that Obama has “spent millions” to hide it.

As you know, millions of Americans are concerned about this issue, and you are correct that a relative of Obama’s could have registered his birth in Hawaii and received a short-form certification even if he had been born outside of the country.

Obama’s eligibility or lack thereof is a matter of urgent national security, because if he is not eligible due to one or more foreign allegiances or citizenship, our military and every single U.S. citizen is in peril. The opportunity for blackmail against a usurper acting as the chief executive officer and commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces is formidable, particularly as the Middle East has erupted in unrest and we are now involved in a new war in Libya in addition to Iraq, Afghanistan, and our servicemen and women positioned around the world.

We Want Out

“The Revolution is over, and so as not to inconvenience anyone, nothing has been changed.”

The simple truth is, the federal government – elected, appointed, and hired – is no longer a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people”. They are taking their goose-stepping marching orders not from the electorate, but from big-money special interests like environmentalists, unions, globalist multinational corporations, and billionaire globalist neo-fascists like George Soros. More and more, they look to the U.N. and foreign countries, rather than the Constitution, for guidance.

However, We the People, are still a numerical majority. In addition, we occupy the vast majority of the American territory. And, even though it is ignored more often than obeyed, the Constitution is still the supreme law of the land. Herein lies our hope.

The Tenth Amendment very simply states:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

In other words, if what the federal government is doing is not specifically authorized by the Constitution, states have the power to opt out. Thus, when the federal government tries to force a clearly unconstitutional law, like Obamacare, on the states, the states can tell the federal government to go suck an egg. Unfortunately, we need many more state legislators with enough patriotic backbone to stand up and “just say NO”. And this is where We, the People, come in.

Protests, Riots, and Insurrections

In America it was the Boston massacre that literally kicked off the Revolution against England in general and the king in particular. British troops, feeling threatened, fired on a relatively small group of protesters and, as they say, the rest is history.

The history of what is occurring in the Middle East is playing out in its cities and, while the region is not famous for democratic reform, the U.S. intervention in Iraq to depose Saddam Hussein may well be seen in retrospect as the trigger for all the insurrections occurring throughout the region. Before the Marines and infantry showed up, you could only vote for Saddam.

The trigger incident in Tunisia occurred when a street merchant, harassed by the local police, set himself on fire, but it really doesn’t matter what the trigger is because it is the far larger resentment of the populations in the nations of the Middle East that has finally been ignited.

Do Republicans Understand?

The 2010 election was a clarion call, shrill, clear and forceful. America is a nation born in rebellion against tyranny. We will not permit our constitutional governance to fall prey to any faction.

Is there anyone too stupid to understand that tyranny blatantly resides in the form of an imperial presidency, one in which the person, any person, uses executive power to dictate national policy without consent of the people, in violation of law, and defiance of the courts? Are our elected representatives so ignorant of or purposefully dismissive of their constitutional duty to protect and defend the very instrument that gave life to and sustains America that they sit paralyzed while the current president, one who refuses to confirm that he is fact even eligible to that office, trashes the nation?

Republicans were given control of the House of Representative at the federal level for the sole purpose stopping the destruction of our Constitution and with it the country. Other Republicans were swept into State Houses across the nation given the same mandate. The latter group is courageously dismantling previous abuses visited upon hard working families and individuals by corrupt politicians catering to gangster unions and socialist activists for political kickback contributions.

There is some comfort in the conduct of newly elected conservatives in congress, those who vehemently agree with the supremacy of the Constitution and halting the insane spending that at this very moment threatens national bankruptcy and the very future of our young people and children. We salute and stand shoulder to shoulder with each of these ‘people’s representatives’.

Mega-millionaire Donald Trump today said during an interview with FoxNewsInsider that Barack Obama is having trouble with, and spending millions to fight, the ongoing questions about his birth, his birth certificate and his eligibility to hold office – and the longer the issue goes on, the more he is convinced there are problems with the president’s eligibility.

His newest comments on an issue he first raised in an ABC interview more than a week ago came today on the Fox News Channel.

“The fact is if you’re not born in the United States, you cannot be president. He is having a hard time. He spent millions of dollars trying to get away from this issue. Millions of dollars in legal fees trying to get away from this issue. I brought it up just routinely. All of a sudden a lot of facts are emerging and I’m starting to wonder myself whether he was born in this country,” Trump said.

The New York Magazine’s Joe Hagan has done his level best to ingratiate himself with leftist media elites by championing Cass ‘ban free speech’ Sunstein as part of a smear piece on Alex Jones that recycles the same tired old clichés in a bid to make deluded intellectuals feel more comfortable about sticking their heads in the sand while a malevolent global elite that Hagan is intent on proving doesn’t exist masterminds America’s downfall.

Entitled, A Strange Man Is Following You, the article seeks to dismiss concerns about the Bilderberg Group, the Federal Reserve and the orchestrated economic collapse by characterizing Alex Jones as a paranoid crank who spouts paranoia for profit while inspiring mass shooters like Jared Loughner.

The whole tone of the profile and the fact that it would be a hit piece became fairly obvious as soon as the interview commenced.

According to Jones, Hagan spent the entire interview trying to get Alex to admit that he yearns and grovels for a show on Fox News. an important set up for Hagan’s final slap down when he quotes Fox News programming executive vice-president Bill Shine who states, “That’s not going to happen, so he should stick with trying to locate the black helicopters.”

In reality, Jones spent the whole discussion pointing out that Fox News is just the right-wing pillar of the crumbling corporate media, and that he had no interest in compromising his message merely to emulate the likes of…………………

In his 1850 Disquisition on Government, John C. Calhoun argued that a written constitution would never be sufficient to contain the plundering proclivities of a central government. Some mechanisms for assuring consensus among the citizens of the states regarding “federal” laws would be necessary. Consequently, Calhoun proposed giving citizens of the states veto power over federal laws that they believed were unconstitutional (the “concurrent majority”). He also championed the Jeffersonian idea of nullification. To Calhoun (and Jefferson), states’ rights meant that the citizens of the states were sovereign over the central government that they created as their agent, and could only be so if such mechanisms – including the right of secession – existed.

Without these political mechanisms the forces of nationalism, mercantilism, and political plunder would relentlessly reshape the Constitution with their rhetoric, and their efforts would eventually overwhelm the strict constructionists. At that point the Constitution would become a dead letter.

In his new book, The Constitution in Exile, Judge Andrew Napolitano explains in very clear language just how prescient Calhoun was. The biggest special-interest group of all – the federal government itself – has “seized power by rewriting the supreme law of the land,” as Judge Napolitano says in the subtitle to his book. Just as Calhoun predicted. The purpose of the book, says the judge, is to tell “the unhappy story of liberty lost, federalism trampled, and Big Government run amok.” How did we get to the point, he asks, of where the “federal” (i.e., central) government defines for us the drinking age for alcohol, how much wheat farmers can grow, the ability of terminally ill cancer patients to medicate themselves with marijuana, the amount of sugar that can be used in ketchup, and even the size of toilets?

Unlike the neocons who surround Judge Napolitano in his appearances on the FOX News Channel, he understands that freedom comes “from God and is inherent to our humanity . . .” “Freedom” is not derived from military adventurism under the guise of phony humanitarianism, as the David Horowitz/William Kristol/Rush Limbaugh/ crowd would have us believe. Real estate mogul and potential 2012 presidential contender Donald Trump defended his questioning of President Obama’s birth certificate Monday morning with a defiant, “this guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn’t.”

“I am really concerned,” Trump said in a phone interview on Fox & Friends. “You have no doctors that remember, you have no nurses — this is the president of the United States — that remember. … He could have been born outside of this country. Why can’t he produce a birth certificate?”

Trump, who has been flirting with a run for president, first made a remark about the so-called “birther” issue last week on The View. Obama provided news organizations with a scan of his birth certificate during his 2008 campaign, which some oulets also independently vetted.

Is Media Matters breaking the law in its ‘war’ on Fox News?

Media Matters, the George Soros-backed legion of liberal agit-prop shock troops based in the nation’s capital, has declared war on Fox News, and in the process quite possibly stepped across the line of legality.

David Brock, MM’s founder, was quoted Saturday by Politico promising that his organization is mounting “guerrila warfare and sabotage” against Fox News, which he said “is not a news organization. It is the de facto leader of the GOP, and it is long past time that it is treated as such by the media, elected officials and the public.”

To that end, Brock told Politico that MM will “focus on [News Corp. CEO Rupert] Murdoch and trying to disrupt his commercial interests …” Murdoch is the founder of Fox News and a media titan with newspaper, broadcast, Internet and other media countries around the world.

There is nothing in the Politico article to suggest that Brock, who was paid just under $300,000 in 2009, according to the group’s most recently available tax return, plans to ask the IRS to change his organization’s tax status as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt educational foundation.

Being a C3 puts MM in the non-profit, non-commercial sector, and it also bars the organzation from participating in partisan political activity. This new, more aggressive stance, however, appears to run directly counter to the government’s requirements for maintaining a C3 tax status.

Since Brock classifies Fox News as the “leader” of the Republican Party, by his own description he is involving his organization in a partisan battle…

..But in the IRS application for 501(C)(3) tax-exempt educational foundation status, Section VIII, Question I asks the applicant: “Do you support or oppose candidates in political campaigns in any way?” (Emphasis added).

The US and Western coalitions pick and choose which innocent civilians are worthy of saving, and many have suggested that this is due to one specific reason. If you haven’t guessed, it’s closely related to the oil and gas reserves in the region, but according to Conn Hallinan, it’s a much broader strategy that boils down to regional energy control. The Saudis, being close allies of the US (for today, at least) have a pass to cleanse protesters who would threaten stability. Libya, of course, is lead by a dictator, thus he has to go – just like the Syrian leadership.

Among the many inconsistencies with what’s playing out in the middle east is the question of what our President and Secretary of Defense would ask our own military to do if political protests, riots and violence erupted here in the US. Both seem to suggest that the leaders of these middle eastern countries, as well as their law enforcement and military apparatuses, should stand aside. Would the President of the United States, if faced with riots, molotov cocktails, and gun fire outside of the Capitol building or White House allow the military to “empower a revolution driven by unmet political and economic grievances” of the people?

Estimates suggest that Mubarak resigned amid as many as 2 million protesters in the streets. This is about 3% of Egypt’s population.

If the United States saw similar turnouts at Federal and State government buildings, would our leadership resign without a fight as well? Are we to believe that the same logic being used to compel dictators in the middle east to step down would be applied domestically if the people, in a public show of protest, deemed our government to be tyrannical and it’s leaders dictators? Moreover, does this mean that any such civil disobedience, riots, and gunfire would be ignored by military and law enforcement, who would be ordered to, as Mr. Gates suggested to Syria, stand on the sidelines?

We’d like to believe it is that easy, except we live in a little place we like to call reality.

The time has come for those who claim high regard for the U.S. Constitution to show that they mean what they say. The time has come to begin impeachment proceedings against President Barack H. Obama for high crimes and misdemeanors.

The United States has initiated a war against Libya, as Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has conceded. When one country bombs another, which has not attacked it nor posed any immediate threat to it, that is an act of war. No “humanitarian” rationale justifies such an act. Only an act of Congress suffices according to the United States Constitution. Barack Obama has violated that provision of the United States Constitution, which he swore, falsely it is now apparent, to defend and protect. Barack Obama has committed this greatest of impeachable offenses. Other offenses related to torture and violation of the civil liberties of U. S. citizens may emerge as articles of impeachment are drawn up.

Many Tea Party candidates and paleo-conservative and libertarian Republicans, such as Rep. Ron Paul, won office by declaring their high regard for the Constitution. Rep. Paul stated in advance of the attack on Libya that a Congressional declaration of war was necessary according to the provisions of the Constitution before an assault could proceed. If these Republicans do not act now to begin impeachment following the lead of the very principled Dr. Paul, their words meant nothing, and they should be turned out of office.

NWV News – Sheriff who testified before Congress has ties to suspected Islamist group

The only law enforcement official called to testify at the controversial congressional hearing on Muslim radicalization on March 17 is allegedly “tight” with an Islamic group that raised money for Hamas and was a co-conspirator in a federal terror-finance trial, according to a public-interest legal organization that investigates and prosecutes public corruption.

In May 2009 when Nurse Catherina Cenzon-DeCarlo was forced to participate in committing a late term abortion in a New York City hospital she did so because she was directly threatened with firing if she did not comply. Ms. Cenzon-DeCarlo was threatened with the loss of her job and her license if she did not put aside her deeply held religious objections to abortions.

The federal protections extended to those who refuse to commit abortions as provided in a George Bush Executive Order are gone now. Barack Obama, the most pro abortion president in history, has ordered the Justice Department to bring actions against those who would follow their religious conscience instead of civil mandates to join in committing abortions.

Safoorah Khan, a 35 year old Illinois middle school math instructor faced a similar dilemma. She wanted to make a pilgrimage to Mecca – something that is required of Muslims just once in their life – but wanted to do it during the school year..

“…. she had been hired just nine months before and the three week trip would take her away from her students at a crucial phase in their studies. Additionally she was the only qualified math teacher on the faculty.

The school administration denied Khan’s request and she resigned. Case closed? Not to the Justice Department. Holder has decided Khan was forced to resign and therefore discriminated against because of her religious beliefs.

Pentagon spokesmen testified at a Senate hearing in 1977 that open air tests were no longer taking place but that they would be resumed if the Army felt the need. It is this newly felt need that is making Utah residents, among others restless. Although Bacillus subtilis is not as dangerous as some other micro-organisms, it can cause infections and, among the very old or young and people weakened by other conditions, fatalities. The Army’s denial of risk is simply not supportable.

Stranger still is the remark by an Army public affairs officer that Bacillus subtilis is not a ”genuine bacteriological agent.” Rather, she said, it is merely a simulant that ”mimics characteristics of biological material.”

The suggestion that any bacteria are not biological material is Orwellian newspeak. Yet, it serves a purpose. A 1969 Federal law holds that the military must notify local civilian officials when tests might expose people to biological or chemical agents.

Radiation detected in Massachusetts rainwater as Fukushima crisis worsens

The Fukushima crisis continues to worsen by the day, with nuclear experts around the world finally realizing and admitting we’ve all been lied to. “I think maybe the situation is much more serious than we were led to believe,” said Najmedin Meshkati of the University of Southern California, in a Reuters report (http://www.reuters.com/article/2011…). That same article revealed that recent radiation readings at Fukushima show “contamination 100,000 times normal in water at reactor No. 2 and 1,850 times normal in the nearby sea.”

Massachusetts rainwater has also been found to be contaminated with low levels of radiation from Fukushima, indicating just how widespread the radioactive fallout has become. It’s not just the West Coast of North America that’s vulnerable, in other words: even the East Coast could receive dangerous levels of fallout if Fukushima suffers a larger release of radioactive material into the air.

Rolling blackouts are now continuing throughout Japan due to the drop in power production from Fukushima diminishing Japan’s electricity generating capacity (http://english.kyodonews.jp/news/20…). The only reason Japan isn’t experiencingwidespread power blackoutsright now is because so many factories were damaged or swept away from the tsunami itself. Once a serious rebuilding effort gets underway, Japan is going to find itself critically short of electrical power.

The radiation leaking from Reactor No. 2 is now measured at1,000 millisieverts an hour– more than enough to cause someone’s hair to fall out from a single exposure event. Radiation sickness can begin at just 100 millisieverts. The extremely high levels of radiation are, in fact, making it nearly impossible for workers to continue working at the reactor. “You’d have a lot of difficulty putting anyone in there,” said Richard Wakeford, a radiation epidemiology expert at the Dalton Nuclear Institute in Manchester. “They’re finding quite high levels of radiation fields, which is impeding their progress dealing with the situation.” (http://www.businessweek.com/news/20…)

Eligibility 101

Donald Trump, a potential presidential candidate in 2012, has boldly asked the question the political and media elite refuse to ask: “Where’s the birth certificate?”

As a result, more people are discovering the controversy over Barack Obama‘s constitutional eligibility every day. Therefore, it’s a good time for a refresher course or primer on what this issue is all about.

First of all, it is an irrefutable fact, despite what you might hear and read from other sources, that Obama has never released his birth certificate to the press or the American people. In fact, he has steadfastly refused to do so.

The only document Obama has offered to suggest he is a natural-born citizen actually contradicts that suggestion. But, even worse, that document, the certification of live birth, the short-form certificate, is insufficient for purposes far less significant than establishing the constitutional eligibility for the presidency. For instance, try getting a passport with one. Try qualifying for Little League with one. Try getting a driver’s license with one in most states. This is a digital document, subject to fraud, easy to obtain in Hawaii without a birth actually taking place, and the state of Hawaii has never even asserted that the document the Obama campaign released was an official Hawaiian document.

There is one other piece of so-called “evidence” cited by Obama acolytes: much-to-do-about-nothing newspaper birth announcements. Since those birth announcements would be triggered automatically by the Hawaii health department with the acceptance of an application for a certification of live birth, they are totally irrelevant insofar as corroborating evidence. They only indicate that someone in Hawaii applied for a certification of live birth, a document Hawaii handed out to people with no evidence of an actual birth having taken place.

They were cleaning up the mess in London yesterday — replacing the windows at the Ritz, fixing the wooden façade at Fortnum & Mason and attending to a vandalized Trafalgar Square in the wake of Saturday’s protests — and riots — by trade unionists and anarchists.

Think it can’t happen here? Think again.

The British press reports that up to half a million people took part in the demonstrations, 200 were arrested and more than 160 injured — including 84 police officers, 11 of whom had to be hospitalized.

Why? Because Prime Minister David Cameron announced a $130 billion cut in public spending and this is how the infantile left reacts when its I’ve-got-mine-Jack gravy train is threatened.

The weekend demonstration was led by Britain’s powerful Trades Union Congress, whose leader, Brendan Barber, has been warning for more than a year that “industrial unrest” would greet any Tory government that dared attack Britain’s sky-high social spending.

Addressing the gathering in historic Hyde Park was Ed Miliband, the Labor Party’s new hard-left leader (his father was a prominent Marxist), who likened the protesters to the suffragettes, the US civil-rights movement and the fight against apartheid in South Africa. Which ought to tell Britons all they need to know about their prime-minister-in-waiting.
