Hannity Goes All-In On Obama Birth Certificate: ‘What’s Wrong With Asking?’

March 26, 2011 Leave a comment

A coalition of peculiar media forces apparently led by Donald Trump appear to be working to make President Barack Obama’s birth certificate a major 2012 campaign issue, and all signs point to Sean Hannity hopping on the bandwagon. After dedicating a significant amount of time on his radio show earlier this week to the matter, he brought it up once again on TV in the context of Trump’s potential 2012 bid, calling the entire ordeal ‘odd.’

The discussion began on his “Great American Panel,” where Republican strategist Dee Dee Benkie was urging viewers not to completely dismiss Trump as a viable presidential candidate. This allowed Hannity to bring up the birth certificate, which Trump had been demanding to see, and Hannity noted merely asking the question had helped Trump’s poll numbers: “he’s now in a tie for 5th place, two points behind Sarah Palin.” Panelist Ron Daniels scoffed at the idea that being anywhere near Palin on the polls was a good thing, and dismissed the idea that Trump even wanted to be President. “It’s a publicity stunt,” he concluded.

But Hannity was far more interested in pursuing President Obama’s birthplace struggles, wondering aloud yet again why the President has yet to produce a long-form birth certificate. He took his now-typical line of attack, noting that Dick Cheney had to prove his residency and that President Chester A. Arthur had one attorney after him proclaiming he was born in either Ireland or Canada. That said, Hannity clarified that he personally had no questions as to whether the President was American, but he did not consider himself a worthy arbiter of that.

Legal analyst Peter Johnson agreed that “there is a way to put this to bed”– showing a birth certificate that would be adequate to those who believe the conspiracy– and that the White House has not produced said certificate raised questions. Daniels objected, noting correctly that the White House in fact has published President Obama’s birth certificate several times, but the copy presented was not sufficient. To that, Hannity concluded the discussion articulating what many exposed to the birther debate regularly lament: “let’s get out of this. This is stupid.”

Gemeinnutzgeht vor Eigennutz. (The common good supersedes the private good.) ~ Nazi slogan

Prologue

Fanatical environmentalism, vegetarianism, animal rights and public health are four progressive policy initiatives that most people would not readily associate with Hitler and the Nazis. “Unlike Marxism, which declared much of culture and humanity irrelevant to the revolution, National Socialism was holistic,” wrote Jonah Goldberg. Indeed, “organic” and “holistic” were the Nazi terms of art for totalitarianism. The Mussolinian vision of everything inside the state, nothing outside the state, was organic-ized by the Nazis. In this sense, the Bavarian cabinet minister Hans Schemm was deadly serious when he said, “National Socialism is applied biology [Darwinism].”

Today I Learned That Unions Are Like the Mafia

March 26, 2011 Leave a comment

Let me first put it out there that, unlike some of my fellow conservatives/libertarians, I don’t believe unions are inherently bad, or at least the larger labor movement isn’t. In the past, it was a force for good, producing some much needed reforms at a time when some companies were beyond corrupt.

However, I also believe that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and many, if not most, unions have gained absolute power wherever they set up shop.

Take Philadelphia, for example, where the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America is trying to give a business a bad name. Not because they make their employees work backbreaking long hours. Not even because they won’t negotiate better wages or benefits. No, it’s because their landlord won’t hire from within their union to do construction work on the building.

Apparently, you hire only union workers in Philly or face the consequences.

“America’s defeat in Vietnam is the most egregious failure in the history of American arms” ~ A Failure In Generalship « ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~

March 26, 2011 4 comments

America’s defeat in Vietnam is the most egregious failure in the history of American arms. America’s general officer corps refused to prepare the Army to fight unconventional wars, despite ample indications that such preparations were in order. Having failed to prepare for such wars, America’s generals sent our forces into battle without a coherent plan for victory. Unprepared for war and lacking a coherent strategy, America lost the war and the lives of more than 58,000 service members.

Following World War II, there were ample indicators that America’s enemies would turn to insurgency to negate our advantages in firepower and mobility. The French experiences in Indochina and Algeria offered object lessons to Western armies facing unconventional foes. These lessons were not lost on the more astute members of America’s political class. In 1961, President Kennedy warned of “another type of war, new in its intensity, ancient in its origin — war by guerrillas, subversives, insurgents, assassins, war by ambush instead of by combat, by infiltration instead of aggression, seeking victory by evading and exhausting the enemy instead of engaging him.” In response to these threats, Kennedy undertook a comprehensive program to prepare America’s armed forces for counterinsurgency.

Despite the experience of their allies and the urging of their president, America’s generals failed to prepare their forces for counterinsurgency. Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Decker assured his young president, “Any good soldier can handle guerrillas.” Despite Kennedy’s guidance to the contrary, the Army viewed the conflict in Vietnam in conventional terms. As late as 1964, Gen. Earle Wheeler, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated flatly that “the essence of the problem in Vietnam is military.” While the Army made minor organizational adjustments at the urging of the president, the generals clung to what Andrew Krepinevich has called “the Army concept,” a vision of warfare focused on the destruction of the enemy’s forces.

“America’s generals have been checked by a form of war that they did not prepare for and do not understand” ~ A Failure In Generalship « ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~

Mortal Danger

This article began with Frederick the Great’s admonition to his officers to focus their energies on the larger aspects of war. The Prussian monarch’s innovations had made his army the terror of Europe, but he knew that his adversaries were learning and adapting. Frederick feared that his generals would master his system of war without thinking deeply about the ever-changing nature of war, and in doing so would place Prussia’s security at risk. These fears would prove prophetic. At the Battle of Valmy in 1792, Frederick’s successors were checked by France’s ragtag citizen army. In the fourteen years that followed, Prussia’s generals assumed without much reflection that the wars of the future would look much like those of the past. In 1806, the Prussian Army marched lockstep into defeat and disaster at the hands of Napoleon at Jena. Frederick’s prophecy had come to pass; Prussia became a French vassal.

Iraq is America’s Valmy. America’s generals have been checked by a form of war that they did not prepare for and do not understand. They spent the years following the 1991 Gulf War mastering a system of war without thinking deeply about the ever changing nature of war. They marched into Iraq having assumed without much reflection that the wars of the future would look much like the wars of the past. Those few who saw clearly our vulnerability to insurgent tactics said and did little to prepare for these dangers. As at Valmy, this one debacle, however humiliating, will not in itself signal national disaster. The hour is late, but not too late to prepare for the challenges of the Long War. We still have time to select as our generals those who possess the intelligence to visualize future conflicts and the moral courage to advise civilian policymakers on the preparations needed for our security. The power and the responsibility to identify such generals lie with the U.S. Congress. If Congress does not act, our Jena awaits us.

“Armies do not fight wars; nations fight wars. War is not a military activity conducted by soldiers, but rather a social activity that involves entire nations” ~ A Failure In Generalship « ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~

The Responsibilities of Generalship

Armies do not fight wars; nations fight wars. War is not a military activity conducted by soldiers, but rather a social activity that involves entire nations. Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz noted that passion, probability and policy each play their role in war. Any understanding of war that ignores one of these elements is fundamentally flawed.

The passion of the people is necessary to endure the sacrifices inherent in war. Regardless of the system of government, the people supply the blood and treasure required to prosecute war. The statesman must stir these passions to a level commensurate with the popular sacrifices required. When the ends of policy are small, the statesman can prosecute a conflict without asking the public for great sacrifice. Global conflicts such as World War II require the full mobilization of entire societies to provide the men and materiel necessary for the successful prosecution of war. The greatest error the statesman can make is to commit his nation to a great conflict without mobilizing popular passions to a level commensurate with the stakes of the conflict.

Popular passions are necessary for the successful prosecution of war, but cannot be sufficient. To prevail, generals must provide policymakers and the public with a correct estimation of strategic probabilities. The general is responsible for estimating the likelihood of success in applying force to achieve the aims of policy. The general describes both the means necessary for the successful prosecution of war and the ways in which the nation will employ those means. If the policymaker desires ends for which the means he provides are insufficient, the general is responsible for advising the statesman of this incongruence. The statesman must then scale back the ends of policy or mobilize popular passions to provide greater means. If the general remains silent while the statesman commits a nation to war with insufficient means, he shares culpability for the results.

However much it is influenced by passion and probability, war is ultimately an instrument of policy and its conduct is the responsibility of policymakers. War is a social activity undertaken on behalf of the nation; Augustine counsels us that the only purpose of war is to achieve a better peace. The choice of making war to achieve a better peace is inherently a value judgment in which the statesman must decide those interests and beliefs worth killing and dying for. The military man is no better qualified than the common citizen to make such judgments. He must therefore confine his input to his area of expertise — the estimation of strategic probabilities.

US Army Apologizes for Horrific Photos From Afghanistan by Matthias Gebauer and Hasnain Kazim

Major Public Backlash

At NATO headquarters, there are fears that the coming days could see angry protests in Afghanistan or even potential attacks against NATO units. “The images have an enormous potential here in Afghanistan,” one NATO general told SPIEGEL ONLINE. “Experience shows that it might take a couple of days, but then people’s anger will be vented.”

NATO, under the leadership of the US Army, has been preparing for possible publication of the photos for close to 100 days. In dozens of high-level talks with their Afghan partners, military leaders have sought to pursue the same strategy used by the US diplomatic corps in the case of the sensitive diplomatic cables released late last year by WikiLeaks. They warned those most directly affected and made preparations for the photos’ appearance in the public sphere. This “strategic communication” was aimed at preventing a major public backlash.

The high ranks of those involved in the talks show just how seriously Washington has taken the problem. US Vice President Joe Biden recently spoke about the case with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. The head of all NATO troops in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, likewise met with Karzai.

By apologizing and by promising that those responsible will be prosecuted, the US is hoping to prevent Karzai from making any angry public statements on the case.

Libya Exposes Obama As Our Latest Neocon President by Richard M. Salsman

March 26, 2011 1 comment

In violation of the U.S. Constitution, President Obama has launched a semi-war against Libya, a nation that did not attack the U.S. and was not a threat to its self-interest or national security. But Obama and the neoconservative warmongers who inspire his unjust actions don’t even pretend to put America first. They presume foreign policy is morally “noble” if it sacrifices America’s self-interest, her wealth, her soldiers and even her national security. And the more such values are sacrificed, the more “success” they presume.

Although the U.S. Constitution properly designates the president as the commander-in-chief of the U.S. military, it also specifically states (in Article I, Section Eight) that the power “to declare war” resides solely in the legislature – in the U.S. Congress – the body that also has the “power of the purse,” to provide funding for legitimately-declared wars. In the same section Congress is given the power to “suppress insurrections and repel invasions,” which implies that foreign nations properly may do likewise.

Yet Obama has invaded Libya without securing a declaration of war from Congress, and is intervening in what amounts to a civil war between equally-illiberal Arabs, one side of which seeks only to “suppress insurrection.” Does this mean an insurrection in the U.S. against an illiberal Obama can be legitimately supported by foreign powers (say Canada) in a bombing campaign to degrade U.S. defenses and establish a no-fly zone on the East Coast?

It’s simply ludicrous for Obama to rationalize his actions on the grounds that he obtained permission from the U.N., NATO or the Arab League. The U.S. Constitution neither requires nor allows any of that; though it does require that Obama get permission – an explicit war declaration – from the U.S. Congress. He hasn’t done this, which is an impeachable defense, regardless of whether his predecessors committed the same wrong.

These entities are either innocuous or dangerous, for they either do not hold America’s interests as their primary aim (NATO) or actually stand opposed to America’s interests, security and the Constitution (U.N., Arab League). That’s why Obama took this route – as did Truman, Bush I, Bush II and Clinton. They all put America second or last, the supposedly “moral” stance. We’ve seen such evil before, as when Democratic presidents pushed America into disastrous wars – see Woodrow Wilson (WWI), FDR (WWII), Truman (Korea), JFK and LBJ (Viet Nam) – not solely out of U.S. self-interest, but to “make the world safe for democracy,” which means: safe for a political system America’s Founders did not want and actively opposed.

‘Less Government’ Republicans… Not by Eric Peters

March 26, 2011 Leave a comment

You expect sickly, smothering statism from liberal Democrats (well, ok, Democrats in general). It’s their stated policy, after all. At least give them credit for being above board about it. But when it comes from a Republican (as often as not one who touts his or her “conservative “credentials) it’s like getting cold-cocked by a friend. You’re defenses are down; you don’t see it coming.

Like The Chimp himself once said: Fool me once… shame on.. shame on you… you can’t get fooled again.

Except many people – Republican voters – reflexively, routinely do get fooled again.

In Connecticut, for example, Republican Governor Jodi Rell supported the use of automated speed enforcement cameras on state highways. “Safety” is the predictable mantra, as always – and also the typically Republican appeal to badge-licking “law n’ order.” But the reality is that Rell saw an easy way to increase taxes without having to come out in favor of an overt tax increase. She – like Republican politicians in Virginia who came up with “abusive” and”reckless” driver fees of $1,000 or more to be levied onto motorists convicted of ordinary traffic offenses (since repealed or defeated – but still) figures the dumbos out there are too stupid to understand that a tax is a tax is a tax, whether it’s called one or not.

The bottom line is always – pay up!

And, give up – your liberty.

Mitt Romney’s heaf-cayuh “reform” – with its individual mandate that became the core of Obamacare – is another example.

The World – American Style by Michael S. Rozeff

The U.S. government has a known and explicit policy, discussed below, concerning Persian Gulf oil. The visible foreign results of this policy, so far, include the Gulf War of 1990, the subsequent sanctions on Iraq, the U.S. actions during the Iran-Iraq War, the U.S. attack and war on Iraq (2003-present), the U.S. sanctions against Iran, and now the U.S. war in Libya. This is not to say that these actions have been well thought out or have succeeded in their aims with respect to the government’s prime objective. In fact, blunders dominate the list.

The domestic results of this policy, so far, include such items as the Patriot Act, curtailment of various freedoms and rights, the Transportation Security Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, travel restrictions, financial restrictions, militarization of police forces, and vast invasions of privacy. Other results include the encouragement of terrorism, the war on terror, use of torture, abductions, and holding prisoners incommunicado for indefinite terms.

What then is this policy? A RAND document reviews the U.S. oil policy in the mid-East and associated regions. It points out (p. 60) that President Carter enunciated this policy on January 23, 1980 in his State of the Union Address:

“Let our position be absolutely clear: An attempt by any outside force to gain control of the Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America, and such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force.”

Even before this, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff in September of 1978 issued a strategy assessment in which it wrote of “continuous access to petroleum resources” as priority #1 in the region, along with seeing that Israel survived. In 1979, the military put together a “Rapid Deployment Force (RDF), which soon gained full, unified command status as the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).”

Every President since Carter has supported this doctrine, added to it, strengthened it, expanded it, or implemented it by policy actions including making war.

Hence, there is no question that the U.S. considers the uninterrupted oil flow from this region as a vital interest. The U.S. has made war over Kuwait in 1990, in Iraq in this century, and now in Libya. It has gone into related areas such as Somalia, Yemen, and Afghanistan. It has confronted Iran for decades. It has armed and aided all sorts of dictatorial regimes in the region.

George Soros, writing for the Atlantic Monthly Digital Edition, must have been having a great laugh at his private joke when explaining how the greatest threat to Western civilization is no longer communism.

According to George Soros, billionaire capitalist extraordinaire, the greatest threat to western capitalism is . . . wait for it . . . George Soros!

“Although I have made a fortune in the financial markets, I now fear that the untrammeled intensification of laissez-faire capitalism and the spread of market values into all areas of life is endangering our open and democratic society. The main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat.”

IF you want to support Trump’s challenge, you can do this WITHOUT declaring him to be your choice for president, or any other office — just keep the pressure on Barry Soetoro/Obama until he is exposed!

To send a thank-you to Donald for speaking out and calling for the birth certificates, go to this website: www.ShouldTrumpRun.com, click on the “Contact Us” tab, and post your comments there.

http://www.thepostemail.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Trump-Youre-Fired.jpg

It takes less than a minute or two, and you can vent as I did below, if you are so inclined:

Thank you, Donald, for stepping up to the plate and talking about the number 1 question that is on the minds of 270 million Americans: can Obama prove that he can issue anything other than unlawful orders, since he has not proven that he is a natural born Citizen? (If not, then LTC Terry Lakin should be freed from Leavenworth, where he is imprisoned for asking the same question you have.)

The Birth Certificate (not that forged and inadmissible piece of ‘dog mess’ that Obama has posted on the internet – the CERTIFICATION of LIVE BIRTH) is a logical place to start, since the ditzy-dimbulbs on The View can’t even talk logically about that one.

Then, when you hit them with the definition: -“The natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens…it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.” – they will become even more apoplectic, and suffer a complete meltdown on public TV or radio.

American Fear

March 26, 2011 Leave a comment

Whether they realize it or not Americans live in a constant state of fear every day. I’m not referring to the fears of everyday life like losing a job or having an accident of some kind, but rather a more sinister and devious fear; a fear that Americans only dare talk about around the water cooler or at cocktail parties so as not to be taken seriously; a fear they try to mask with a with a whimsical tone of sarcasm or indifference. Whether Americans want to admit it or not, it’s the single greatest fear in their lives: fear of the government.

Right about now there are those reading this thinking: Don Cooper is a drunk. To which I reply: what’s that got to do with it? Maybe more people should drink if that’s what it takes to sober up and confront what they are really afraid of.

In their defense, I’ll admit that reality is scary. No argument that living in delusion is warmer, safer, cozier, and easier. Pretending is always more fun than reality, that’s why we go to the movies. But fear of the government is a fear that invades a person’s soul and – since the government intervenes in every aspect of our lives – it affects every move we make every day.

Fear of the government is hard to recognize and acknowledge. It’s a fear that we are taught early on in life and to which we become accustomed. We inevitably end up tucking it away in the far reaches of our minds in order to function “normally” every day and live our lives. But just as a car backfiring will trigger a sense of fear from a shell-shocked veteran, so too can the State trigger that…

The Rush Towards Socialism — and How To Stop It

by Thomas J. DiLorenzo

It only took the Obama administration a couple of weeks to prove that the national leadership of the Democratic Party is guided by totalitarian-minded socialists who seek to create an omnipotent government. The U.S. government is now controlled by people who have been dreaming of living out their utopian socialist fantasies ever since the fantasies were brought to their attention in college decades ago by their Mao/Castro/Che Guevara poster-hanging, capitalism-hating, communistic professors.

The administration’s main agenda is an explosion of federal spending and debt so large and outrageous that America will soon exceed Sweden in the proportion of the economy that is controlled by government — if it hasn’t already. That’s just for starters. They also want to sharply increase taxes on the most productive and hardest-working people in society; increase the capital gains tax to deter private investment; expand the welfare state; spend trillions on pure, pork barrel spending in a massive vote-buying spree; set all corporate compensation levels by governmental fiat; tax away the wealth of unpopular business people (only starting with those AIG executives); regulate and control all risk taking by private entrepreneurs; enforce a civilian draft to create a modern-day, American version of the Hitler Youth (See Rahm Emanuel‘s creepy, Stalinist-sounding book entitled The Plan); nationalize entire industries, starting with the capital markets (they understand that there can be no capitalism without private capital markets); and double, triple, and quadruple the number of “regulators” who already regulate all aspects of human life in America.

At the recent G-20 meeting Obama even signed off on the creation of an international regulatory “authority” that could set compensation policies in American corporations. On top of this, there is a never-ending drumbeat of anti-capitalist propaganda coming from the administration and its worshipful mouthpieces in the “mainstream media.”

What can be done? How can this rush toward totalitarian socialism be stopped? Will the Republicans find another old, angry geezer to appeal to the angry white male vote? How about another mumbling and incompetent Bush family heir? Will there be another Reagan who will talk libertarian while governing more like a European Social Democrat? Will they trot out another old “war hero” who will plunge us into war with Iran, North Korea, China, or whomever, to divert our attention away from the economic mess government has placed us in? These are the likely alternatives if we cling to the fantasy that “throwing the bums out” at election time leads to something other than another group of slightly different bums.

Nearly Half of U.S. EPA’s West Coast Radiation Monitors Might be Out Sick

March 26, 2011 Leave a comment

We’ve been telling you for almost two weeks now that radiation from Japan was headed our way, but not to worry.

We are your friend.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency reported this week that trace amounts of the Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation was detected in Orange and Riverside Counties — at levels “hundreds of thousands to millions of times below levels of concern.”

Okay. But here is a concern:

Eight of the EPA’s 18 West Coast monitors might not be working!

The agency announced this week that the gizmos were “undergoing quality review,” according to an EPA statement.

Reassuring.

Maybe this isn’t the best time to have our radiation monitors conk out?

The agency claims that it has more than enough monitors, and that they overlap.

So, um, to summarize. Don’t trip out, because you won’t be exposed to harmful radiation. But nearly half of the government’s monitors that measure that radiation might not be working.

But stay calm.

Still, just to be on the safe side, you can check in with Weekly contributor Michael Collins handy-dandy indie monitor in Santa Monica, here.

It has armed and aided all sorts of dictatorial regimes in the region………………

Feds May Act if Florida Stalls on Health-Reform Law

March 26, 2011 2 comments

If Florida leaders refuse to carry out the new national health-care law, Uncle Sam is prepared to take charge on behalf of the state’s consumers.

One year after President Barack Obama signed the health-care overhaul into law, federal officials are urging Florida and other reluctant states to shape it to meet their needs and to take advantage of millions of dollars of federal planning grants. Failure to participate, officials warned this week, means a loss of state control.

But Florida Gov. Rick Scott — backed by fellow Republicans in the Legislature who strongly oppose “ObamaCare” — has refused $2 million in federal planning money and ordered state agencies not to implement the law. In addition, Florida has challenged the law in federal court, in a lawsuit filed before Scott was elected in November.

“We believe the federal law is unconstitutional, in which case it won’t be enforced,” said Jack McDermott, spokesman for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

Driver Mileage Could Be Taxed

March 26, 2011 3 comments

Policymakers and analysts are considering new sources to fund highway spending.

The reasons, they said, were that federal spending on highways exceeded available funds and current taxes don’t give drivers incentives to consider how much road use costs.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) just released a study that looked at alternative approaches to highway funding.

The main alternative proposed was taxing motorists for every mile they drive. That didn’t sit well with some motorists.

“Why? We pay for the gasoline, we pay for the cars, we pay for the sales tax, we’re paying tolls,” Austin Horan said.

“Those taxes on gas were designed to pay for the highways, so why should you tax us again?” asked Nick Zambrito.

In its study, the CBO stated there’s a realization that fuel taxes are not giving motorists incentive to use highways efficiently. Basically, people travel, the roads get damaged and there’s not enough money to fix them.

Obama’s real presidential model: Eisenhower?

March 26, 2011 1 comment

50:16 AM by patlin

Obama doesn’t have even an ounce of the honor, nor the integrity that Ike had. Ike was a 5 star general in the US Army and he still had to show his birth certificate to gain access on the ballot as a presidential candidate. Now a highly decorated Lt Col of the US Army sits in Ft Leavenworth for merely asking his commander in chief to uphold the same standards that up until the last few decades was a requisite to running for the highest office that is in charge of our National Security. A simple question so he would have the peace of mind while serving in harms way. An 18 year Army doctor who has to produce a certified copy of his long form birth certificate everytime he is deployed. A top flight surgeon whom had to go through extenseive training on critical thinking in order to be able to make objective & critical decisions on the battle field & who graduated at the top of his class. An officer whose oath is to the Constitution, not the CIC as the oath is for regular enlisted soldiers. A Lt Col who was slated to be promoted to full Col this spring.

Oh yes, this is quite a metaphoric subtitle. If it wasn’t so critically true to the preservation of our society, Constitution & the election process, it might actually be funny.

The Godless Humanitarian Ideology

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

As defined by Wikipedia: “In its most general form, humanitarianism is an ethic of kindness, benevolence and sympathy extended universally and impartially to all human beings. Humanitarianism has been an evolving concept historically but universality is a common element in its evolution. NO DISTINCTION is to be made in the face of human suffering or abuse on grounds of gender, tribal, caste, religious or national divisions.” (Note: words capitalized are for emphasis only and are not in the original quote.)

The majority of humanitarians preach a social gospel and teach the “golden rule,” but what a great many humanitarians neglect and reject are the key foundational moral and natural laws for a healthy and prosperous society. If they adhered to and preached such virtues, the world would be a totally different place. The majority of individuals who practice this type of humanitarianism are the very ones who praise and support oppressive dictators and socialistic dominance. They are the ones who hate moral laws and absolutes. As a matter of fact, they will fight tooth and nail to preserve their subjective agenda of “human rights.” These so-called “rights” are simply the promotion and practice of transgressing God-ordained moral laws. These individuals hold hands with their like-minded fellows to seek a world without the Rule and Law of Almighty God, their Creator and Sustainer.

“These individuals hold hands with their like-minded fellows to seek a world without the Rule and Law of Almighty God, their Creator and Sustainer.”

When hypocritical, godless elites from Hollywood and the decadent music industry – who have been the catalysts for the destruction of American culture and society – get together for a relief project, expect to find the godless “Eros-love” and the god (Lucifer) of this world behind it (Rom. 1:28-32; 2 Cor. 4:3; Eph. 2:2; 1 John 4:3). When the majority of these artists who have single-handedly promoted and encouraged all forms of godless and immoral behavior come together and sing “We are the world,” the spirit and mood………………………..

Where History is Going…Revelation 5

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

But we have fallen, and have been ruined by sin, made unfit for heaven, yes we have even forfeited the right to remain in God’s Universe. Who can undo what we have done? Who is worthy to commence God’s plan for a new Creation of Heaven,Earth, and even man? It has to be a man, for by man came death, therefore by man must come the resurrection from the dead.

The new Song teaches us that a solution has been found, a man has come forth who is indeed worthy and able to undo what we have done, to save us from our sins, and to make us over again in God’s Image. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain… and has redeemed us by his blood!

The events of Revelation 4-5 stretch from the creation all the way down to the end of all time. At the last we come to the culmination of history, for John saw where we are headed, in this vision we behold it with rapt awe.

Remember when smokers begged for people to be a little understanding? Remember when smokers warned that there would be a tax that ALL people would have to pay on something they held dear? Well, I think the GPS tax for tracking and taxing every mile you drive just may fit that bill.

This tax, like the cigarette smokers tax, will have devastating consequences on the poor and middle income people. With a tax on every mile we drive, not to mention tracking information on every mile we drive, are we seeing the “hope” and “change” that Obama and the democrats were talking about?

President Obama arrived home to the White House on Wednesday from his five-day trip to Latin America and found himself locked out of the French doors to the Oval Office, as captured by several news organizations. Obama’s House of Cards is Collapsing!| The Post & Email

IF HE WASN’T AT COLUMBIA, THEN WHERE WAS HE?

by Bridgette, blogging at WTPOTUS

(Mar. 25, 2011) — We recently reviewed Obama’s multiple Social Security numbers that investigators uncovered in the article “Whose Identity Did Obama Steal?”. Additionally, they found that he used different social security numbers within a couple of years of each other. Investigators associated social security numbers with addresses where he lived across the United States, and where he didn’t live. His most flagrant use of a card is one that wasn’t issued to him and that he is using today. Orly Taitz has uncovered new information that adds even more evidence proving Obama’s family, history, and integrity are seriously fraudulent. Lies about family associations, friends, college, travels, and work are being exposed with rapidity. The cards in question include his social security card, selective service card, and even his student report card! Evidence is mounting that his life is one of deceit, lies, and more lies.

Recent revelations are highlighted in Orly Taitz’s First Amended Complaint that was just filed. Below are the explosive allegations that were added to her amended lawsuit as well as the evidence to back up her allegations. (The entire lawsuit is available here).

Now it appears Obama lied about his attendance at Columbia! He was only there for 9 months NOT 2 years that he has stated! Where did he go for that other year and what was he doing? Was he taking courses in person at Columbia or was he enrolled in an overseas program? If he traveled overseas what name did he use? How did he get the credits to attend Harvard with only 9 months attendance at Columbia? Was it a Freudian slip when Obama said he went to Pakistan or is that one of the only truthful statements to come out of his mouth? Below if verification of Obama’s limited attendance at Columbia. Perhaps there will be apologies made to Dr. Manning?

HAS GEORGIA BEEN SOLD OUT?

March 25, 2011 1 comment

Yesterday, I watched about 5000 screaming, chanting, resentful crazies, many of whom carried signs that said “undocumented and unafraid” and “WE WILL NOT LEAVE!” take over Washington St. outside the Georgia Capitol.

The protest against HB 87 and any enforcement of American immigration laws was staged by the local “your laws do not apply to us Hispanics” crazies.

There were illegal aliens in charge of crowd control telling American citizens that they could not pass on certain sections of public – Capitol grounds – property and Capitol Police and State Patrol officers warning Americans to obey.

Most of the day-long rally was conducted in Spanish. The Capitol grounds looked and sounded like a chaotic third world barrio. In speeches, many Democrat politicians assured the raving crowd that they had a civil right to be here illegally and that help was on the way. I posted some links to local TV coverage HERE (scroll down). You can see what the crazies are saying HERE.

Is Obama Real?

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

A little over a decade before anyone had heard of Barack Obama, cyberpunk author William Gibson already had his number, as it were. The novel was called Idoru (“idol” in Japanese) and told the story of a holographic emanation, an entirely virtual media star projected upon an adoring world. As Rolling Stone put it in a review, “Gibson envisions a future in which the lines between the virtual and the actual are terminally blurred. How ‘real’ are today’s celebrities?”

There’s no doubt that the world’s “greatest” celebrity creation is Barack Obama, an idol who mesmerized the American public and much of the West besides, drawing enormous crowds wherever he went, inspiring millions upon millions of mindless infatuates who regarded him as the answer to all the world’s problems. People gazed upon him and swooned over his pectorals or felt tingles crawling up their legs. Others thought a god had arisen in their midst. He was the savior, the messiah, “The One” who would resolve the world’s most intractable conflicts, who would roll back the seas, who would introduce transparency into American politics, and who would bring harmony and wisdom, hope and change, to a distracted electorate.

Two years have passed and the shine has faded. Every initiative that the American idoru has undertaken has generated only controversy and failure. Add to the record of his blunders and hesitations the fact of his shrouded identity, anemic CV and playboy-like behavior, and we have a veritable enigma on our hands. Does he fly under or over the radar? The then-senator who constantly voted “present” seems as president disturbingly absent, junketing about the planet, shooting endless rounds of golf, practicing his jump shot, warbling at parties, sipping slurpies.

Worse, when it comes to issues of major significance, Obama cannot seem to make up his mind about anything. Taking a reasoned, consistent and principled position seems beyond his means. Rather, he is prone, to quote T.S. Eliot from The Hollow Men, to “behaving as the wind behaves.” Is he in or out of Afghanistan? Is he for the Ground Zero mosque or against? Does he admire or disapprove of his former pastor, America-hating Reverend Wright? Is he prosecuting terrorists in civil court or relying on military tribunals? Are the Articles of the Constitution to be observed or ignored? Is Congress to be circumvented or consulted in carrying out domestic and foreign policies, a question recently highlighted by his mobilizing the EPA to skirt legislative resistance to Cap and Trade or participating in the action against Muammar Gaddafi? For that matter, is he committed to the Libyan adventure or not? Is he pro-Israel, as he has often affirmed, or anti-Israel, as his conduct plainly suggests? Why does he support the so-called “democracy movement” in Egypt but not in Syria or Iran? If health care reform is meant to be universal, why have public sector unions been given exemptions and congressmen spared? Why do statements emerging from the White House often seem downright contradictory? These paradoxes, evasions and ambiguities can be multiplied indefinitely.

Is this why Obama didn’t ask before going to war, er, “kinetic military action”

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

The War Powers Act circumvented the Constitution’s clear language and since its adoption, presidents have been emboldened to go to war without getting a specific declaration from Congress. Now Barack Obama has taken this trend to the next logical step: he didn’t even bother to consult Congress, apparently believing that when a bunch of foreign dignitaries say it’s OK, he can send Americans off to die and kill.

Commander in Chief

Maybe this is the reason he didn’t ask: Gallup pollsters say that only 47 percent of American adults approve of “the current U.S. military actions against Libya.”

That’s the lowest support of any military action over three decades…

Capturing of White European Slaves by the Barbary Corsairs

March 25, 2011 1 comment

But few of know that even those European nations were under the threat of piracy and depredations by Muslim pirates from North Africa. These Barbary pirates used to intercept commercial vessels in the sea, loot the merchandise as booty and capture white Europeans sailors as slaves for selling in the slave-markets of the Middle East and other Muslim countries. In addition to mid-sea piracy, they used to launch raids in the coastal villages of Europe and capture both male and female Europeans and forced slavery on them.

“Pirate raids for the acquisition of slaves occurred in towns and villages on the African Atlantic seaboard, as well as in Europe. Reports of Barbary raids and kidnappings of those in Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Scotland as far north as Iceland exist from between the 16th to the 19th centuries. Between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by pirates and sold as slaves during this time period. Famous accounts of Barbary slave raids include a mention in the Diary of Samuel Pepys and a raid on the coastal village of Baltimore, Ireland, during which pirates left with the entire populace of the settlement. Such raids in the Mediterranean were so frequent and devastating that the coastline between Venice to Malaga suffered widespread depopulation, and settlement there was discouraged,” says a study.

After the United States took decisive military actions in 1815, followed by an Anglo-Dutch joint raid in 1816 to destroy most of the pirate fleet, the rulers of Barbary States were forced to sign agreements, prohibiting the practice of piracy and enslaving Christians. However, piracy and enslavement in North Africa ended only after France started the occupation of North African states in 1830. Nonetheless, Muslim enslavement of Black Africans continued further on

Obama = Bush and Clinton at the Same Time by Anthony Gregory

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Looking at Obama as the simultaneous embodiment of Bush and Clinton might help to explain why everyone is so out of their minds right now. Politics is defined both by the rhetoric of the state and that of the opposition. The dizzying flip-flops on all sides are easier to understand in light of Obama’s peculiar style of governance.

Backing up almost twenty years to Slick Willy’s first term, the populist right was up in arms about Washington, about Waco, about nation-building and Hillarycare. Then the Republicans won Congress and by the end of the decade, the right calmed down a bit, probably predicting they would soon inherit the imperial executive they had pretended to oppose out of principle.

The anti-Bush movement was, at first, anti-state – in particular, opposed to war, imperialism, and unlimited executive power and corporatism. But after Katrina, the left once again reverted to its old ways, criticizing the administration for governing poorly, as opposed to flexing too much power. The problem was, once again, that Bush was not doing enough.

Today, the anti-Bush peace movement and Tea Party have both subsided, the first group placated by the 2008 election and the second pacified by the midterm Republican victory. They are both also probably simply fatigued from years of protest. I wish they’d both get out in the streets and join forces, realizing they are actually both opposed to power grabs by the same government. But that will, alas, probably never happen.

Yet the anti-Clinton right and the anti-Bush left should recognize that Obama sums up the horrors of both administrations. Instead, these groups are divided, convinced by the government they should fear each other more than the regime. We have the 1990s hysteria about populist rightwingers helping to bolster the police state. Alongside the fear of American patriots is the Bush-era hysteria toward Muslims and crackdowns on antiwar protesters. It is the perfect storm for both fascism and socialism of the American variety.

We’ve Reached the Limit| The Post & Email

March 25, 2011 1 comment

The first thing one learns in debating class is to never attack a person, just the person’s conclusions. For example, if you don’t like the message, kill the messenger. Alright, kill the messenger, why don’t you? So what? The message is still the same. Today’s prime example is that of the non-existent birth certificate. There is no birth certificate, so what’s with this “birthername-calling? Calling someone a birther doesn’t address the birth certificate question. Actually, there is a birth certificate and it’s from Kenya. End of name-calling. But it’s not over, is it? Sleight of hand, take your mind away from the truth. Just hear lies. Day after day. After day.

And what about the saturation level of the lie ‘either?’ “Stimulus” is another name for “payoff.” “Transparency” is a catch-word for closed doors. The truth is a lie and a lie is still a lie. The mainstream media dishes out portions of lies and more lies. Every day. Americans have reached the limit of lies. The fight for the truth has been fought a thousand times yet must be fought for the thousand and first. There is no other way. The cowards, the bullies, cheats and lying politicians will not, cannot, survive in the light of truth.

Cao now has reported that she will be including the Kenyan birth certificate document, a copy of which was sent to all members of the 111th Congress last year, as an addendum to the Exhibits in her Motion to Dismiss relating to her case which arose from the January 6, 2011 reading of the U.S. Constitution by the House of Representatives.

When The Post & Email asked Cao why she shouted out “Except Obama! Except Obama!” during the reading that day, she said, “Everyone in Congress already knew and they said nothing,” referring to the letter mailed by Lucas Smith to each congressman along with a copy of the alleged Kenyan birth certificate.

Update: Presidential Ticket: Paul E. Vallely and Donald Trump?| The Post & Email

At least Donald Trump has said more about the eligibility issue than any other person who is thinking about campaigning for the Presidency. He is being honest and he does deserve a HAND SHAKE. He has shown more patriotism than any other prominent figure. Hopefully, his statement will make some type of positive impact relating this critical issue. Consider, that if he did campaign for the Presidency and win, he would not be beholding to anyone….he would be his OWN MAN…..It would be a novelty for us all to experience, if this is the way it would develop. “In God We Trust.”

Introducing MORE: ACORN Reborn in Missouri (w/ VIDEO)

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

In 2009, James O’ Keefe and Hannah Giles released an undercover video investigation showing ACORN (The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) employees giving the ‘couple’, dressed as a pimp and prostitute, guidance on tax evasion, child prostitution and human smuggling. The result: the Census Bureau immediately cut its ties– as they were scheduled to help conduct the 2010 Census– and Congress cut funding from the Housing and Urban Development Department. Ultimately, they were forced to shut down.

Many speculated ACORN would simply start up other organizations and conduct the same business under different names. Now, in Missouri, MORE ( Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) is one such group.

Reboot Congress has the scoop:

MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) and other leftists held meetings in 2010 to plan their strategy for squatting on properties in the St. Louis area. The video above introduces some of their leaders. A future video will outline MORE’s longterm strategy to acquire residential property through extralegal means like squatting.

Take a look at this video for proof:

Doug Feith: “The President wants to cut America down to size”

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Most people are analyzing U.S. action in Libya in a way that makes what President Obama is doing seem incomprehensible. If the President says Gadhafi must go and believes it is important enough to engage our military to achieve this objective, why would he wait two or three weeks before making a stand? If the President’s goal is to protect civilians in Libya, how can he be willing to let Gadhafi – the source of the humanitarian danger in Libya – remain in power after the operation ends?

“Pundits are puzzled because they assume President Obama is focused on Libya. But that assumption may be false.

“The only way to make the President’s behavior comprehensible is to recognize that he has a larger strategic goal than just the outcome of Libya. While the rest of the country is focused on Libya’s future, the President is focused on fundamentally changing America’s role and standing in the world. Libya, for him, is simply an occasion for undertaking a radical reformulation of 70 years of American foreign policy.

Obama’s eligibility: whistling past the graveyard

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

-Satire

I fully endorse President Obama’s efforts to find a humorous angle to potentially the most serious Constitutional crisis facing the United States since the Civil War.

I intend to remain cheerful and ignore, downplay or ridicule any assertions that Barack Obama may not be eligible to be President. I will pretend that all “birthers” are crazy or racists and hope for a good outcome.

It is difficult for me to believe that there is a conspiracy so broad that it includes much of our senior political leadership and the main stream media. I find it incredulous that people who claim to love their country would perpetrate or acquiesce to such an outrageous fraud on the American people. No one could possibly crave power and privilege that much.

As of this writing, there appears to be no credible evidence that Barack Obama was actually born anywhere, but his existence makes me suspicious of that claim.

Homosexuals are a natural fit for the Godless, limited-population agenda of the NWO/Fascist/Marxist globalist elites—just run down a check list. Homosexuals are generally atheists—check. They are generally childless—check. Generally self-obsessed—check. Generally sexually promiscuous—check. Generally anti-family—check. Check, check, check, check, and check. “Ya’ll fit right in. Welcome aboard.” (Given the large number of gays in the government, and various leftist NGOs , I suppose the question of who’s recruiting who comes into play). (Link)

(And please, no emails about a homosexual cousin who works at a leper colony in Rwanda, and donated a kidney to feed the starving children in Bangladesh. I’m dealing with generalities here, not exceptions).

Edmund Bergler, M.D. and William Kroger, M.D. wrote in their book “Kinsey’s Myth of Female Sexuality: The Medical Facts” that “The homosexual is inwardly sick; in a convenient process of displacement he shifts the blame for his illness on the outer world. …He is the classical injustice collector; his constant complaint is that he has been ‘unjustly treated.’” Zygmund Dobbs notes that “These attitudes make the sexual deviate a natural candidate for collectivist tyrannies.” No lie. The Anti-Tea Party Fighting to Take Down Global Economies

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

When Glenn Beck tells you that an attack on our economic system has already begun, he’s not kidding. One of the major groups working towards “economic justice” is USUncut.org. Just launched in mid-February,USUncut is linked to the UKUncut group. Although billing itself as a spontaneous, grassroots “Tea Party for the Left”, USUncuts is also linked with SEIUand other98.com. You may recall that The Other 98 put together the “Celebrate the Dream” event in Washington last August in an effort to counteract Glenn Beck’s event.

The message they are promoting is meant to instigate protest from the public, using banks and big business as the target. Currently, their chosen targets are Bank of America, Verizon and FedEx. On the surface, who would disagree with their complaint that large corporations have all kinds of loopholes to avoid taxes? But be careful who you are backing and what their real intentions might be. Many of us have begged for a flat or fair tax for decades to no avail, but a fair and forthright approach doesn’t seem like what they have in mind at all.

Liberal Democrats Are Hurting Obama’s Presidency over Libya

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich didn’t stop at blasting President Obama on his Libya war policy recently in a meeting of ultra-liberal Congressional Democrats. He practically invited Congress to consider an impeachment discussion of Obama.

Kucinich didn’t even stop there. He rammed the impeachment point home further in a follow-up interview in which he flatly said that the president went squarely against the Constitution in approving the Libya military action. So far, no other Democrat went quite that far. But several key Congressional Democrats including Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), John Conyers (D-Mich.), and Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.), did openly grouse that Obama went too far in not getting approval of Congress for his action.

There is no dispute that presidents have a legal, constitutional and political responsibility to get approval from Congress when the issue is waging war. This obligation is clearly spelled out in the War Powers Act. And those who made that point were right to make it. But Kucinich and the handful of Democrats who ripped Obama about Libya certainly know that there is virtually no possibility that Obama will blatantly abuse that power as Bush did in Iraq and Afghanistan and commit American ground troops to combat in Libya. This would be a gross violation of the provisions of the Act.

Obama backed the Libyan no-fly zone because the United Nations Security Council by unanimous vote backed it. The House Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees backed the action. More importantly, the Arab League requested that the United Nations impose a no-fly zone over Libya. And nearly every humanitarian group around has backed it.

But, most important he backed it because it’s the politically and morally right thing to do. Kucinich and others would have screamed the loudest if Obama had done nothing and Gaddafi slaughtered thousands in a blood-lust rampage against the rebel groups. In his case, and that of every other dictator that’s ever been under siege from their own people, it always leads to the slaughter of innocent women, children and elderly, under the guise of restoring order. If Obama hadn’t acted, he would have been even more loudly condemned as being weak, indecisive and a chronic ditherer when it comes to making tough decisions on foreign policy issues.

Understanding the 3rd terror war

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

What are we to make of the fact that no one has taken credit for Wednesday’s bombing in Jerusalem?

Wednesday’s bombing was not a stand-alone event. It was part and parcel of the new Palestinian terror war that is just coming into view. As Israel considers how to contend with the emerging onslaught, it is important to notice how it differs from its predecessors.

On a military level, the tactics the Palestinians have so far adopted are an interesting blend of state-of-the-art missile attacks with old-fashioned knife and bomb-in-the-briefcase attacks. The diverse tactics demonstrate that this war is a combination of Iranian-proxy war and local terror pick-up cells. The attacks are also notable for their geographic dispersion and for the absence thus far of suicide attacks.

For the public, the new tactics are not interesting and the message they send is nothing new. With or without suicide bombers, Israelis understand that we are entering a new period of unremitting fear, where we understand that we are in danger no matter where we are. Whether we’re in bed asleep, or our way to work or school, or sitting down on a park bench or at a restaurant, whether we’re in Rishon Lezion, Sderot, Jerusalem, Itamar or Beersheba, we are in the Palestinians’ crosshairs. All of us are “settlers.” All of us are in danger.

The military innovations are important for IDF commanders who need to figure out how to answer the public’s demand for security. They will have to draw operational conclusions about the challenges this mix of tactics and strategic architecture poses.

The Phony Arguments for Presidential War Powers by Thomas E. Woods, Jr.

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

A U.S. president has attacked another country, so it’s time for the scam artists to pull out their fake constitutional arguments in support of our dear leader. Not all of them are doing so, to be sure – in fact, it’s been rather a hoot to hear supporters of the Iraq war suddenly caterwauling about the Constitution’s restraints on the power of the president to initiate hostilities abroad. But I’m told that radio host Mark Levin criticized Ron Paul on his program the other day on the precise grounds that the congressman didn’t know what he was talking about when it came to war powers and the Constitution.

That means it’s time to lay out all the common claims, both constitutional and historical, advanced on behalf of presidential war powers, and refute them one by one.

“The president has the power to initiate hostilities without consulting Congress.”

Ever since the Korean War, Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution – which refers to the president as the “Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States” – has been interpreted this way.

But what the framers actually meant…………………..

ACLU: ‘Communism is the Goal’

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Irony is defined as “the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning.” The term doublespeak means “evasive, ambiguous language that is intended to deceive or confuse.”

There is perhaps no greater example of ironic doublespeak than inclusion of the phrase “civil liberties” within the inapt designation: “American Civil Liberties Union.”

Indeed, few leftist organizations in existence today can compete with the ACLU in terms of demonstrated hostility toward what the Declaration of Independence describes as “certain unalienable rights” with which Americans are “endowed by their Creator.”

Consider the doublespeak inherent throughout the “progressive” Goliath’s flowery self-representation:

“The ACLU is our nation’s guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.”

Now contrast that depiction with ACLU founder Roger Baldwin‘s candid vision:

[Texas]Senator contrasts no-fly zone in Libya with security on southern border

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

The Obama administration and congressional leaders are “willing to spend billions of dollars enforcing a no-fly zone in Libya, but fail to show up for our fight to secure our borders at home.”

That is the view of state Sen. Tommy Williams, chair of the Senate Transportation and Homeland Security Committee.

Williams, a Republican from The Woodlands, held a news conference at the state Capitol on Thursday to announce the introduction of a Senate Resolution critical of the federal government’s record on securing the border.

“I’m tired of the rhetoric, inaction and escalating costs Texas is forced to bear because the federal government has failed to secure our border,” Williams said. “Our citizens have a right to be protected. Too many of our land and homeowners along the Texas-Mexico border live in fear of their lives and property.”

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano would likely dispute Williams’ analysis. She has said many times that the border is now much safer than in previous years, pointing out that the number of Border Patrol agents stationed on the southern border has gone up dramatically.

Williams, who participated in the Rio Grande Valley Partnership’s Valley Legislators Tour in January, said it is time for the federal government to fulfill its constitutional duty to secure the border. He also said Texas deserved to be reimbursed by Congress for the extra costs state and local governments incur “due to the federal government’s failure to secure the Texas-Mexico border.”

Williams said the “inability” of Washington, D.C., to secure the border and develop a comprehensive immigration reform policy has put “an unfair and unreasonable burden” on the state of Texas. He said Texas border communities in particular are struggling to keep their streets and neighborhoods safe from spillover gang violence.

George “Robin Hood” Soros and His Merry Band of Pot Stirrers

In what seems to be a weekly, if not daily, number of protest marches around the globe recently, this weeks’ March 26th “March for the Alternative” is the latest effort to stir the pot from the global powers-that-be. As we have discovered in recent weeks and months, these movements and revolutions are given the appearance of the grassroot actions of frustrated citizens of the world, yet they always seem to come back to the same handful of people and groups.

The “March for the Alternative” is being well publicized by Movements.org (you know, the same people who work so well on revolution with Google and the State Dept.). This is how they introduce us to the latest:

On March 26th, more than 100,000 people will gather in London to ‘March for the Alternative.’ They’re protesting deep government cuts: slashed local budgets that mean cuts to libraries, child care, public transportation, public safety, and assistance for the elderly—combined with opening up the publicly-funded National Health Service to private companies at a loss of 50,000 jobs.

Shades of Wisconsin…it seems no one on the Left wants to cut a cent from anything. But that doesn’t make any sense in the current economy….does it? And it sounds way too close to the plans for created financial chaos announced this week by Glenn Beck and posted on The Blaze.

In the same way the radical progressives network with each other, their action sites always network extensively, too. We start with the “March for the Alternative” website, and although it is not easily found, there is a small logo from the sponsoring organization at the bottom of the page: TUC (Trades Union Congress)…

“Get your puke bag ready” ~ Laurie Roth – Forget Libya – Let’s talk real horror, “Sharia law”

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

While Obama plays fast and lose trying to deal with his upset liberal base and congress about going to war with Libya, real abuses, violations and murders are happening all over Muslim countries. What will Obama do about those? I imagine, he will continue to ignore them like everyone else does. I am talking about abuses, human rights violations and murders that affect hundreds of millions of Muslim women through out the Middle East on a daily basis because of the use of the evil and racist Sharia law.

Just a few of the millions of rights violations regularly include: Get your puke bag ready. Remember Hena, the 14 year old girl who went out side her home at night to relieve herself in Bangladesh and was raped. She was sentenced to 100 lashes. She fell unconscious and died after 80. You guessed it…. Sharia law.

Then there was a 16 year old raped by a 20 year old at her village. She was ashamed and scared so she didn’t report it. Her plan didn’t work because she became pregnant and was exposed. She was sentenced to 101 lashes. This was carried out 8 months after her rape…..another gift of Sharia Law. This very same district reported 3 other cases who were lashed for illegal intercourse.

The blessings of Sharia continue…………A 45 year old woman was whipped 40 times for having intercourse with her stepson. The local imam decided this punishment which killed her. Then there was the 17 year old who was accused of having an affair. She was tortured by the village arbitration council until she confessed. Naturally after that she was whipped 101 times.

The gift that keeps on giving as we talk about the rights of freedom fighters in Libya

Pelosi, John Boehner, Modern Day Samson and Delilah? ~ “hey both knew how to disarm even the most powerful men and reduce them to a mere weak link in the chain of leadership”

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Nancy Pelosi is no Delilah, but they had something in common, they both knew how to disarm even the most powerful men and reduce them to a mere weak link in the chain of leadership. This type of violation happens every day. Every time a man secretly glances over his shoulder to sneak a peek at a beautiful woman, or even when a man can relate to a woman like his long lost mom, that coddled him as a boy and created a need for acceptance through guilt, we become a nation of fools that falls to its knees from one simple kiss, or each affection.

Have you ever been hugged by a violator and, deep down in your gut, you knew that you were not supposed to submit to this crony but did not know what to do? So many people on this earth know the tragic, intimate truth about violators, but so many of us have been made to doubt the very core of who we are and what we have experienced. We have been lulled into a sleep that allows people like Nancy Pelosi and President Obama to rise to power. I have worked with troubled teenagers for thirty years, and the stories that I have heard about violators would make you want to jump off a cliff! These troubled teens have taught me so much about how we are formed as a people. Molesters, verbal and physical abusers, and the smiling, coddling, undermining, doubt-producing liars that roam our political system start out as so-called loving parents.

The politically correct system that has always been in place, has kept the truth about this type of abuse from rising out of the darkness of so many homes. It has produced the perfect violator; I like to call her, “The Nancy Pelosi Political Machine.” She is brilliant at hiding behind her nice face, the thoughtful political outfits that she wears and the almost meek and kindly qualities that she portrays. But I can’t be alone when I say that I see the mean, angry, controlling monster that lurks behind all those smiles. She has been well groomed and is the perfect pick for her job because she knows how to use this sociopolitical power.

Ron Paul believes Libya intervention an ‘impeachable’ offense | EUTimes.net

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul will be co-sponsoring an amendment announced Tuesday by Ohio Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich that would defund the American military intervention in Libya.

Kucinich suggested during a Saturday conference call with anti-war Democrats that he thought impeachment could also be considered for Obama’s “unconstitutional” actions in Libya.

Paul’s spokeswoman Rachel Mills confirmed to The Daily Caller via email that Paul shares Kucinich’s point of view on the severity of the constitutional breach. “Yes, he thinks it is an impeachable offense,” Mills wrote.

“The President committed the U.S. to military invention without consulting Congress, in clear subversion of Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution, which gives only Congress the power to declare war,” Kucinich wrote in a Tuesday letter to colleagues.

Paul released a video last week decrying the intervention in Libya as unconstitutional and saying that “the American people should be yelling and screaming about what the president is doing.”

The Struggle to Control the Internet

…Dominant Social Theme: Let’s spend what we need in order to keep the Internet free. If we can get the money from government and tax-payers so much the better. This is important stuff!

Free-Market Analysis: Two recent news stories regarding government funding of the Internet have caught the attention of the blogosphere recently. The first has to do with a grant that the US is giving to the BBC (see above article excerpt) and the second involves a plea made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (pictured above left) for more funds to combat the success of overseas news services.

Watch Video: Clinton Asks For Cash as US ‘Losing World Info War’

While on the surface both stories have to do with strengthening the freedom of the Internet and supporting an expansive flow of unbiased information, the reality is likely, and unfortunately, diametrically opposed to what it is being said. These two stories, taken together, mark yet another milestone in the determination of the Anglo-American elites to REDUCE (not expand) the reach of the Internet and to push back against the influence of the blogosphere and the alternative news that it provides.

One sees these unmistakable trends in many ways. There is for instance the desperation with which the Anglosphere‘s mainstream media is attacking yet again the alternative news media via pay walls and proprietary news-distribution formats. USA Today just announced yet another reconfiguration of one of America’s largest newspapers. Once a success story, USA Today has lost considerable circulation and revenues…………………..

Op-Ed: Obama Hiding True Motives for War From American People

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Obama doesn’t tell you what he’s thinking. He keeps his motives to himself. Cherished long-term ideological goals are advanced as pragmatic fixes to concrete problems in the present. Now we’re seeing the familiar domestic pattern in foreign policy as well.

Few Americans realize that Obama has had a longstanding interest in multilateral efforts to combat war crimes and genocide. Obama would like to see a more constraining international legal regime on war crimes, even at the cost of national sovereignty, not to mention the blood and treasure of the countries doing the enforcing. In general, Obama has said little about his larger foreign policy goals.

…In 2005, Obama contacted Power after reading her book on genocide. There followed a long conversation, after which Power left Harvard to work for Obama, quic‘kly emerging as his senior foreign policy advisor.

…Most of the commentary on Libya has focused on the tension between Obama’s apparent desire to displaceQaddafi and his reluctance to admit to it. But the chief reason for this intervention is the one that’s staring us in the face. Obama dithered when it was simply a matter of replacing Qaddafi, yet quickly acted when slaughter in Benghazi became the issue. What Samantha Power and her supporters want is to solidify the principle of “responsibility to protect” in international law. That requires a “pure” case of intervention on humanitarian grounds. Power’s agenda would explain why Obama acted when he acted, and why the public rationale for action has not included regime change.

Yet Obama has so far been reluctant to fully explain any of this to either Congress or the American public, perhaps because he realizes that the ideological basis of his actions would not be popular if openly admitted.

Krauthammer: Obama’s “Working On Language That Will Disguise A Failure”

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

Agree with Hengler here, Obama is the first President in our history who has refused the title leader of the free world:

More evidence?

President Barack Obama is resisting pressure to deliver an Oval Office speech explaining his policy on Libya — in part, because he doesn’t want to equate what he regards as a smaller, time-limited mission with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Administration officials haven’t ruled out a big speech, but Obama is reluctant to make a major address on Libya until the United States hands over most command and combat duties to its allies.

The man who couldn’t walk his dog without giving a speech now doesn’t want to give a speech because this war just isn’t worthy enough. What a leader.

And Krauthammer appears to have the nail on the head with this news just out:

NATO agreed to enforce a Libya no-fly zone on Thursday but fell short of a deal to take full command of military operations, and Western jets failed to stop government tanks re-entering Misrata to besiege its main hospital.

Our Nameless and Blameless President

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

Excusing Obama from any responsibility for Libya actually insults the man, when you think about it (which the Democrats will not bother to do.) What are the implications of Obama’s apparent cluelessness? Let’s consider the possibilities:

One implication is that Obama had nothing to do with missiles being dropped in Libya. But doesn’t this suggest that Obama is some sort of dimwit? (Of course, the Dems would be horrified at this insinuation since it’s a racist one.)

Another possibility is that the president is naive. Here, the affable Barack simply went on a well-deserved vacation, leaving the country in the hands of the Congress. These nefarious legislators went ahead and, behind his back, started a war. But doesn’t this intimate that Obama is a doe-eyed innocent?

Okay, then; another possibility is that Obama does know what’s going on, but he has deferred to the powerful McCain, Graham, and Lieberman. The peace-loving Obama did not want this war, but he gave in. Yet, what’s the implication here, that Obama is a 98-pound weakling?

Or perhaps Obama is just a victim of circumstances (yet again). The economy, Afghanistan, etc. etc. have nothing whatsoever to do with him. But doesn’t it defy logic that the President of the United States is a perpetual victim?

Frankly, what I read between the lines is the following: yes, Obama started a war, but the Democrats can’t mention his name because he is special. If mistakes or wars happen, Obama shouldn’t be held accountable. But isn’t this stance the most paternalistic and racist of all?

While the Left’s thinking is distorted and nonsensical, the tragedy is that most Obama supporters won’t care. The average liberal in the street will not change his or her views about Obama, no matter what he does.

And since Obama is never to blame, the left needs their boogeyman, and any conservative will neatly fit the bill. Usually it’s Sarah and Rush; today it’s Lieberman, et al. Meanwhile, Democrats have absolutely no qualms about coming across as paternalistic and, yes, racist, each time they let Obama off the hook.

DHS To Stage Mock Terror Drill Featuring White “Anti-Immigration” Gunmen

Well this just got interesting. The Department of Homeland Security is going to stage a mock terrorist drill in Iowa this Saturday, March 26th. Sounds like a good idea right? Well, the scenario details two white males, ages 17 and 18, with ties to anti-immigration groups and gun enthusiasts, opening fire on a group of minority students, hitting a Hispanic student……

Obama’s ‘birth hospital’ hides White House letter

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

Obama’s alleged birth hospital has locked in a storage vault a letter President Obama purportedly wrote to the hospital on Jan. 24, 2009, declaring it his birthplace.

For the past month, Hawaii State Senator Sam Slom, the only Republican in the Hawaiian State Senate, has been trying to get answers from Kapiolani Medical Center executives as to why the hospital has chosen to put under lock and key a letter from the White House that the hospital should have been proud to receive and display publicly.

In an email exchange with WND, Slom’s office staff confirmed that Martha Smith, the hospital’s chief operating officer, said a copy of the Obama letter is currently hung in the administrative section of the hospital, away from public view, while the original is stored for “safekeeping and preservation.”

When Slom’s office asked if the senator would be permitted to see the original letter, Smith responded in an email, “Nope sorry, we are not going to do that.”

For weeks, WND has repeatedly left messages with Kapiolani spokeswomen Kaela Peters and Kristy Wantanabe at their offices in Honolulu, inquiring about the letter, without receiving a reply.

Trump Refuses to Back Down Over Obama’s ‘Very Strange’ Birth

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

Donald Trump is not backing down from his demand that President Barack Obama produce his birth certificate and stepped up his criticism by questioning why he has not released other personal records, including college transcripts and legislative papers.

The billionaire real estate tycoon and star of “The Apprentice” created a stir on Wednesday when he said on “The View” that Trump must release his birth certificate.

Now Trump has reiterated his call in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, with this simple message for Obama: Why don’t you produce your birth certificate and put to rest all speculation that you were born outside the United States?

He says Obama’s birth certificate controversy is a “strange situation” — there are conflicting reports as to what Honolulu hospital he was born at, and the governor of Hawaii claims he somehow remembers Obama being born 50 years ago.

Why We Elected an Unqualified Lie

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

…….RUSH: It wasn’t just about Obama. Don’t forget there had been seven years of “Bush sucks!” There had been seven years of “Bush is an idiot!” There had been seven years of “Bush is murdering and destroying America’s image in the world!” Seven years of “Bush can’t talk!” Seven years of “We’re on the verge of a recession,” seven years of “We’re on the verge of an economic collapse,” seven years of the country being laughed at around the country and around the world. So all they had to do was to put forth somebody who could speak. That’s all they had to do, and they took care of the rest.

They manufactured the image of competence. They manufactured The Messiah image, the media. They manufactured all of this. But he did not win in a landslide. And it took them, it took the media and the Democrat Party, seven years to bring this about. They also had some assistance. The Republicans themselves did not offer a lot of help. I mean, you had wild spending; you had a new entitlement created by Republicans; you had McCain-Feingold hich kind of blew up the First Amendment that the Republicans were behind and supported. You had over-the-top spending. So there was a confluence of events here, and Obama — as untested, unknown — was a canvas, an empty canvas, and you could make him whatever you wanted him to be.

And if you wanted anything opposite what had happened or other than what was happening, that’s the role he’d fill. People, I think, were not specifically voting for him. I mean, you had a group of people who got caught up in all of this messianic stuff — and we had a lousy candidate. Our lousy candidate was tied with Obama until September when this financial meltdown began. So it wasn’t just that the people of this country just abandoned all sanity and invested in a slate full of lies. It was a carefully orchestrated, manufactured seven years.

It took a long time. And let’s throw into the mix that the administration of Bush never defended themselves. Karl Rove has now said that that’s one of the mistakes that he admits they made, wishes they could have a do over on that. But, regardless, everybody thinks that people are stupid. I’ll guarantee you I have people in the audience out there, Ed, who are just cheering you on. “Yeah, Americans are stupid, Rush! You have too much faith in people. He’s right. The American people are stupid.” A lot of people think this, and you really can’t blame ‘em in a lot of regards given what we’re faced with here……………………….

Donald Trump Chips The Fringe Off of the Birthers

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

It’s fascinating that we’re going on into the third year of Obama’s presidency and not only has the issue of Obama’s birth certificate not died, but now a C-list celebrity like Donald Trump is starting to chip the fringe off of it…

Where does Donald get off making such demands about birth certificates?!? I know where…look at that comb over, if anyone deserves to issue demands of honesty from others it should certainly be from the guy who wears it on his skull.

Bottom line, it’s a fair question, especially since the left has been acting like such asses about the whole thing. Yeah the birthers are obnoxious too, but liberals could easily make fools of them by showing the damn piece of paper already.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else think that Trump is only running for president so it can be the theme of the next season of The Apprentice?

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Donald Trump was our 45th president? They could broadcast Obama’s concession call to him live and the whole world could hear the Donald accept it…

Trump: Barack, you were the project manager for this assignment we call America, you failed to provide a clear vision, you failed to lead, you trashed your team in front of the competition, and when they needed you the most YOU WENT GOLFING.

Obama: Mr. Trump if…if…if you inherited this mess from George-

Trump: You went over budget to the tune of trillions. The world thinks you’re such a joke the country just asked ME to succeed you!

Obama: -W….W. Bush you would see that this job didn’t…uhh…support my ego in the way I thought it-

Trump: SOMEBODY SHUT OFF THIS GUYS TELEPROMPTER! I’m tired of you putting divots on my golf courses, I’m of tired your wife telling me I can’t have a cheese steak sandwich, and Mr. Obama, frankly, the entire country is tired of you.

Barack…YOU’RE FIRED!

I’m suddenly very close to endorsing Donald Trump for president…just kidding…maybe…

Barbarians At The Gate

Commerce: Lawmakers, bureaucrats and busybody groups have expressed reservations about AT&T’s plan to buy T-Mobile. Why should a voluntary, peaceful agreement between private groups be any of their concern?

AT&T, the country’s second-largest wireless carrier, has agreed to buy T-Mobile, the fourth-largest, for $39 billion. The combined company would become the biggest wireless carrier in the nation, serving more than 40% of the cellphone market.

But first, the deal must be OK’d by meddlesome legislators and useless regulators. The acquisition needs the approval of the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department, as well as the blessings of lawmakers who believe they have a right to manage private affairs.

One unnamed government source predicted “a steep climb.” No exaggeration there. The Hill has reported that a “diverse group of industry and public-interest figures is lining up to campaign against the proposed deal, which would create the nation’s largest wireless carrier.”

Among the opponents’ strategies is ” a wall-to-wall lobbying campaign” that includes “aggressive ad buys, events on Capitol Hill and the formation of a new coalition to try and scuttle it.”

Some in Congress won’t need to be lobbied. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat from Minnesota, has already told the FCC that she is “concerned that increased concentration” will lead “to fewer choices, higher prices and reduced service for wireless consumers.”

Meanwhile, Gigi B. Sohn, president and co-founder of Public Knowledge, says the deal is “unthinkable” and worries that the sale would lead to “higher prices, fewer choices, less innovation.”

ABOUT THAT WAR

March 24, 2011 1 comment

War is a reciprocated, armed conflict, between two or more non-congruous entities, aimed at reorganising a subjectively designed, geo-politically desired result. In the book, On War, theoretician Carl Von Clausewitz calls war the “continuation of political intercourse, carried on with other means.”

War is not necessarily considered to be the same as occupation, murder, or genocide because of the reciprocal nature of the violent struggle, and the organized nature of the units involved.

A civil war is a war between factions of citizens of one country (such as in the English Civil War). A proxy war is a war that results when two powers use third parties as substitutes for fighting each other directly.

War is also a cultural entity, is not linked to any single type of political organization or society. The conduct of war extends along a continuum, from the almost universal tribal warfare that began well before reco

Albert Einstein, however, was convinced of the authenticity of dowsing. He said, “I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as they do astrology, as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is, however, unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time.”

‘Obamacare’ is a failed experiment

March 24, 2011 Leave a comment

It has been one year since Obamacare was signed into law.

This is the same law about which then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” It is the same law that Pelosi and her Democratic colleagues jammed through Congress. The same unpopular law that led to Democrats losing control of the House.

After a year of learning what is in the law — and seeing its effect on families, small businesses and our economy — it is now clear that Obamacare is a failed experiment. Sadly, this failure was predictable and very expensive.

When Sen. Barack Obama was running for president, he repeatedly promised that he was going to reduce “every family’s premiums by as much as $2,500.” We were supposed to see these savings by the end of 2012.
