Just a few thoughts about the possible reason we have finally been treated to a copy of Obama’s genuine, new (and it is new) birth certificate.

We’ve been reading for almost two years now about the fact that Obama was pointedly ignoring requests for a real birth certificate to be released. In fact he spent around $2 million making sure none of his records were released, right on down to Kindergarten.

WorldNet Daily made a big splash about the fact that you couldn’t find any information on this individual that currently resides in the Red (White) House and they even paid to put billboards up around the country asking pointedly “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” Others picked up on this and ran with it also. No response from our Marxist-in-Chief except an occasional sneer, which he’s pretty good at.

Then along came Donald Trump, supposedly running for president, probably as a RINO. He started complaining about Obama’s lack of a valid birth certificate, and lo and behold, Obama shoves one out this past week. Trump claims credit for getting one posted when no one else could.

However, looking at the Great One’s new “authentic” birth certificate, it seems that there are some problems with it. For instance……………………………………

The White House defended using the President’s authority to issue an Executive Order implementing the so called DISCLOSE Act. The Order would require companies doing business with the federal government to report on any political contributions to independent groups. Congress rejected the DISCLOSE Act last year.

Presidential Press Secretary Jay Carney asserted that “it’s essential that the President know who his enemies are so he can ensure that they are not rewarded with government contracts. He cannot allow his hands to be tied by Congress. Congress harbors many who oppose the President’s agenda and who wish him ill. To let them determine whether his enemies shall be enriched via government work would be political suicide.”

The President’s Executive Order will exempt public employee unions and federal grant recipients because “these groups typically donate to Democrats,” Carney said. “There’s no need to bog down your friends with extra paperwork that saps energy that could go into helping you politically.”

“The possibility that such a reporting requirement could be used to favor government contractors who take a particular stance on a political issue was the reason why Congress refused to pass this legislation,” argued Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky). “It’s revival as an Executive Order is an outrageous abuse of Presidential authority.”

If you really, really dislike Barack Obama, his long-form birth certificate, finally proffered in exasperation, is quite simply a counterfeit.

If you are a fan of the president — or even a respectful critic — you are relieved finally to have rid the country of the plague of “birtherism,” the rabid belief that Obama wasn’t born in this country and isn’t constitutionally qualified to be president.

To whichever group one claims membership, one can’t help wondering when exactly we lost our minds.

Yes, obviously. Trump resurrected the birther cause and breathed new life into it. But it wasn’t only to end the debate that Obama sent for his certificate. According to the vineyard, it was also to prevent other Republican candidates from looking sane by comparison to Trump.

A popular song from the 70s was a tune by Judy Collins entitled, ‘Send in the Clowns.’ The title was used by this writer back in 2006 when the Democrats took control of Congress, and again when they maintained control in 2008 and Barack Obama ascended to the White House. It seemed to fit the behavior.

Now, however, a better title with which to describe the White House is ‘send in the goons.’ In keeping with the Chicago Way in which Barack Obama, his friend Rahm Emanel, and Valerie Jarrett were schooled, the Administration has become a joke in its tendency to embody the dubious description of ‘government by thuggery.’

The latest example, of course, is Obama’s banishment of a reporter for merely recording one of the President’s tirades, which insiders say is common but never shown in public. The scene was a protest that broke out at a DNC fundraiser for the President. Obama did not want the video released.

The reporter did it anyway in order to show something about the character of the man Americans allowed to reach the highest office in the land, and to do what reporters do routinely–video those who protest Presidents.

This year’s May Day rally is expected to draw fewer immigrant rights activists to downtown Los Angeles than in past years, but police said they would be prepared for any problems that might occur.

Marchers will assemble at 10 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Broadway and Olympic Boulevard and walk north on Broadway toward City Hall, officials said. The march will conclude with a rally on Broadway between First and Temple streets near City Hall.

Organizers said the demonstration could draw more than 50,000 people, but permits sought for the march estimate a crowd of about 10,000.

Whatever the turnout, police said, they would be ready with a significant deployment of officers.

“We are going to have a large enough deployment to handle anything,” said LAPD Deputy Chief Jose Perez. “Our posture will be consistent with what we’ve had the last two years. Prison guards can retire at the age of 55 and earn 85% of their final year’s salary for the rest of their lives. They also continue to receive medical benefits.

As a California prison guard, you can make six figures in overtime and bonuses alone. While Harvard-educated lawyers and consultants often have to work long hours with little recompense besides Chinese take-out, prison guards receive time-and-a-half whenever they work more than 40 hours a week.

One sergeant with a base salary of $81,683 collected $114,334 in overtime and $8,648 in bonuses last year, and he’s not even the highest paid.

Did Barack Obama just stop his own possible bloodless coup d’etat in its tracks when he released his long form birth certificate? He now clearly reveals his father was a subject of the British Royal Crown rendering him, Barack Obama II, ineligible to assume the U.S. Presidency!

Senator Lindsey Graham stated publicly that he favors changing the wording of the First Amendment to accommodate Muslims in the U.S. Why are U.S. citizens electing such people to office?

CONCORD — You can only speculate about the last moments of a Vietnam soldier killed in action. Imagine the choking clouds of dust followed by a heavy pattering of rain, those adrenaline-filled heartbeats of a soldier, ready to do what his country asked him to.

Imagine that soldier, fingering a lucky Zippo lighter in his pocket, another touching a cross nestled around his neck, all of them checking their weapons.

If you’re like me, you don’t particularly want to live in an America where Donald Trump has a chance of being elected.

But, also if you’re like me, you definitely don’t want an America that would prohibit The Donald (or is it “The Trump” . . . or “The Hair”?) from running.

This distinction, between the outcomes or the things you approve of, on the one hand, and the system you support, on the other, must be kept in mind as the political season heats up. Especially in America, because, in the land of the free, we pride ourselves on making just such distinctions.

So, in April 2008, it appears that a political deal was struck between the Democrats and Republicans that would provide cover for both McCain and Obama on the issue of eligibility. That would also explain the continuing conspiracy of silence by our political elite.

Because SR 511 has no force of law, Congress protected itself from legal consequences, but by political fiat they could do a “quick and dirty” amendment to the Constitution.

Uprising after uprising in the Middle East; sexual and intellectual scandal in the Church; earthquakes in Chile and Haiti; tsunamis in Indonesia and Japan; and financial collapse in almost every market: given the startling increase in the frequency of global crises—political, religious, financial, natural—one is tempted to begin looking for Antichrist and despair for the future.

The pervading anxiety and fear is exacerbated by non-Catholic proliferation of “end time” fiction and even some Catholics who erroneously promote the imminent arrival of the Antichrist and the Second Coming. This idea has distinct emotional appeal in our troubled times, since one way or another, it would all end soon, and possibly without our having to do anything at all.
