HONOLULU, Hawaii – A private investigator claims employees of the state Department of Health forged three Hawaiian birth certificates for Barack Obama to “screw with birthers.”

No smoking signs may be driving more people to light up, a psychological study suggests.

Scientists say the messages have an ‘ironic effect’ on smokers that increases their craving for tobacco.

Without being aware of it, they react to the signs by thinking of and wanting cigarettes.

‘You get ironic effects when you couple information that people perceive with negation,’ said researcher Brian Earp, from Oxford University.

‘When I say “don’t think of a pink elephant”, I’ve just put the thought of a pink elephant in your head.

Conservatives appear confused as to what terms most accurately describe President Barack Obama and his Administration. Some use the terms liberal and left-wing interchangeably. Others say Obama’s rhetoric smacks of Marxism, while the tactics employed by his minions appear to be Stalinist.

With regard to the claim that Barack Obama is a liberal, one can make the argument that perfect examples of political Liberalism are former New York City Mayor Ed Koch and Connecticut’s Senator Joe Leiberman. Both democrats and both believing that government is best able to remedy social problems.

Clearly, President Obama is not an Ed Koch or Joe Leiberman liberal.

Some believe that President Obama more resembles El Dulce himself, Benito Mussolini, the consummate fascist.

The fact is that there are many terms being thrown around these days — Marxist, socialist, liberal, fascist, even communist — to describe President Obama’s beliefs and policies.

In his 2006 book Sinisterism: Secular Religion of the Lie, author and historian Bruce Walker takes his readers into the world of the 20th century power cults of Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin, with particular emphasis on Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.

Disney-owned ABC Studios has stirred up a hornet’s nest over plans to debut a new television series this fall tentatively titled “Good Christian B—-es.”

Based on the book of the same name by author Kim Gatlin, the TV series is being made by the reportedly homosexual executive producer Darren Star, Emmy-winning creator of a several steamy TV hits, including “Melrose Place,” “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Sex and the City.”

The pilot episode stars actress Leslie Bibb as Amanda, a mother of two and onetime “mean girl” in high school who returns home to Dallas following a scandalous divorce, only to discover she is the center of malicious gossip in the Christian community.

On Wednesday, April 27, 2011 the world witnessed a spectacle at once historic and humiliating: a sitting American president forced to preside over a press conference where he reasserted his citizenship. President Barack Obama’s release of his “long-form” birth certificate in the wake of withering criticism from conspiracy theorists, Tea Party activists, and Donald Trump cast a strobe light on the nation’s persistent and tortured racial history.

As a historian and public intellectual who comments frequently on national issues concerning race, democracy, and civil rights I watched Obama’s news conference with an eye toward the long struggle for black citizenship in America. When a reporter from Yahoo news asked me for my reactions to this stunning turn of events, I informed her that the entire affair revealed not only the nation’s “deep seated and vicious racism” but illustrated a “white supremacist vision of American democracy” intent on delegitimizing America’s first black president.
