Sources Say • Tax pledge may be a conspiracy
Are the members of Congress who signed no-new taxes pledges engaging in a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States because President Obama is black? That’s the theory put forward by Calvin O. L. Henry, president of the Oregon Assembly for Black Affairs, in a July 5 letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
In his letter, Henry requests that the U.S. Department of Justice open a criminal investigation into the 274 Republican and three Democrats who have signed the pledges circulated by anti-tax activist Grover Norquist and his organization, Americans for Tax Reform.
“The undue influence of the Americans for Tax Reform and Grover Norquist and the signed pledges by 274 of the 289 members of the United States Congress reveal a sinister and open conspiracy to overthrow the Constitution of the United States by trying to cause President Obama to fail,” wrote Henry, who describes himself as a black American who served as an elections official in the Oregon secretary of state’s office.

The time is the future and someone asks, “What was the root cause of the end of freedom?” And the answer is…“Well, there was this company which made wax. They colored the wax with dyes, then shaped the colored wax into pencil-sized tubes and marketed the colored wax tubes for children to color stuff, hopefully on sheets of paper, but once in a while children would enjoy coloring refrigerators, walls, and doors.” “But what does that have to do with anything?” “It’s all about P.C., which is short for Political Correctness, which is the catch-word for “Stupid” and “Affirmative Action.”
It goes like this: you have a group of people who have been in this country long before the Revolutionary War; in other words, as long as anyone else. And then you have other groups, such as Koreans and, most recently, Vietnamese, who are what you would call recent legal immigrants, who embraced the American dream, learned to speak and write English, did well in school, and became a contributing part of society.
Meanwhile, this other group, the group that’s been here forever, like two hundred years, hasn’t yet figured out that writing and speaking English is probably a pretty good idea if one lives in an English-speaking country. Yet the recent legal arrivals figured out the language angle. So the people who could write and speak English felt bad for the lazy and ignorant people who have been here forever and, to make nice, they decided to lower the standards of colleges and universities so that today’s graduates are just as dumb as the smartest non-writing and non- English-speaking students.

Ron Paul Introduced Pro-gun Legislation
Texas Congressman and GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul continues to champion constitutional rights. His latest endeavor is a bill that would abolish “gun-free zones,” ultimately permitting teachers to carry firearms on school grounds. Predictably, anti-gun groups are calling the legislation “extremist.”
CNS News reports, “H.R. 2613, the Citizens Protection Act of 2011, would repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 and remove all federally created criminal safety zones.”
The Gun-Free School Zones Act was first enacted as section 1702 of the Crime Control Act of 1990. The text of the act reads, “It shall be unlawful for any individual knowingly to possess a firearm that has moved in or that otherwise affects interstate or foreign commerce at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.”
Paul’s bill will permit individuals, including teachers, to carry firearms onto high-school and middle-school campuses.
The Gun-Free School Zones Act faced adamant opposition from Second Amendment advocacy groups like Gun Owners of America, which has indicated its support for Paul’s legislation.
According to a news release from Gun Owners of America, the Gun-Free School Zones Act protects criminals. The release points to attacks at Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Fort Hood, all of which are “government facilities where the private possession of firearms was prohibited.”
The release continues, “It’s time to say NO to criminal safe zones. And a great place to start is the blatantly unconstitutional Gun-free School Zones Act.”

Is The New Yorker’s Navy SEAL Cover Story Fake?
Georgetown University professor C. Christine Fair has written a post at Registan.net alleging that Nicholas Schmidle’s New Yorker cover story detailing the Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound may be a fraud.
At the very least, Fair alleges, Schmidle failed to interview the Navy SEALs involved in the operation–which is not mentioned anywhere in the article, but is apparent from a close analysis of the text.
Is that really the way bin Laden dyed? (pun intended)

Breaking News: “Bin Laden” Heroes Probably Murderered to Keep Them Quiet | Veterans Today

Today 31 NATO troops, 20 of them Navy Seals from the Osama bin Laden operation died in what is reported as a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.
The chances of this story being true is almost nil. The chances of this being a staged coverup is over 80%. We believe these people were murdered to silence them. This is why.
We have solid information on two areas:
1. Osama bin Laden died in 2001 as an active CIA employee and his body was recovered in Afghanistan and taken to “the sand box.” We were told it was frozen. We have so much verification from this, CIA, US military and top officials. I have a direct confirmation from Bin Laden’s CIA handler who I grilled mercilessly on this.
2. The Abbottabad operation involved numerous American deaths, witnessed, bodies all over, a helicopter crash. These bodies were recovered by land vehicle from Islamabad and there was NO “successful” bin Laden operation of any kind. There was and has been a CIA safe house in Abbotabad where terror suspects were stored for years……………….

After Bin Laden was killed, Robert Gates was insistent that nothing be revealed about the unit that accomplished the deed. But one man could not keep his mouth shut: Joe Biden, who credited the SEALs in a speech:

Further irresponsible leaks from the Obama administration revealed the unit involved, causing the unit members to fear for their safety and that of their families:
The Department of Defense is looking into ways to “pump up the security” for the team of Navy SEALs who helped kill Osama bin Laden after the commandos expressed concern for their safety and the safety of their families, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday.
Gates made the comment in response to a question at a town hall meeting at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A Marine asked what measures were being taken to protect “the identities and the lives” of the SEALs involved in the takedown of bin Laden in Pakistan a week ago, as well as other troops deployed in the region, from the threat of retaliation.
“We are very concerned about the security of our families – of your families and our troops, and also these elite units that are engaged in things like that. And without getting into any details … I would tell you that when I met with the team last Thursday, they expressed a concern about that, and particularly with respect to their families,” Gates told the audience.
“Frankly, a week ago Sunday, in the Situation Room, we all agreed that we would not release any operational details from the effort to take out bin Laden. That all fell apart on Monday, the next day.”
Gates specifically talked about the fear of potential retaliation:
Gates acknowledged the threat of retaliation against Team 6 and troops deployed in the region.
“There is an awareness that the threat of retaliation is increased because of the attacks – because of the action against bin Laden,” he said.
Today, that retaliation may have come to pass, as a Taliban RPG killed at least 20 members of Team 6, in “the single deadliest incident for U.S. soldiers by far” in the Afghanistan war. The members apparently were not part of the group involved in the raid, we are told (why are we told this? Won’t it keep the jihadis hunting?), and there is no way to know whether this was an orchestrated ambush targeting Team 6. Psychologists examine disturbing trends, offer tips on coping
WASHINGTON – People who are cyberstalked or harassed online experience higher levels of stress and trauma than people who are stalked or harassed in person, according to a presentation at the American Psychological Association’s 119th Annual Convention.
“Increasingly, stalkers use modern technology to monitor and torment their victims, and one in four victims report some form of cyberstalking, such as threatening emails or instant messaging,” said Elizabeth Carll, PhD, in a talk entitled, “Electronic Harassment and Cyberstalking: Intervention, Prevention and Public Policy.”
Emotional responses to the stress and trauma experienced by victims may include high levels of ongoing stress, anxiety, fear, nightmares, shock and disbelief, helplessness, hyper-vigilance, changes in eating, and sleeping difficulties, Carll said…………………….

AP: Crash kills members of SEAL Team 6 (dispatched Osama)
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) – A military helicopter was shot down in eastern Afghanistan, killing 31 U.S. special operation troops, most of them from the elite Navy SEALs unit that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, along with seven Afghan commandos. It was the deadliest single incident for American forces in the decade-long war.
The Taliban claimed they downed the helicopter with rocket fire while it was taking part in a raid on a house where insurgents were gathered in the province of Wardak late Friday.

We cling to an island of truth and sanity in a sea of hatred, lies, confusion, and sheer stupidity.
And these past couple of weeks, that island has been battered by storms. Mind you, at least it doesn’t have to worry about a chunk of it wanting to separate.
Unlike Canada, one of the greatest national experiments of all time. We don’t conquer and dominate, but we are an extraordinary country.
Yet still a bunch of extremists in Quebec want to leave. Fine, let them moan. But don’t allow one of their own to lead an ostensibly federalist party, the NDP, and then claim to care about “Canadian families.”
All of them, or just the ones who speak French and live in Quebec?
Let’s be candid here. Half of the NDP parliamentary caucus is composed of people with ludicrous ideas, and many of them are separatists. That party leader Nycole Turmel was a member of the separatist party, and still a member of separatist organizations, says much about the socialists, as does their incompetence in making her their interim boss.
Sorry comrades, you’re just not ready for prime time.
Neither is fellow lefty Khaled Mouammar, outgoing and longtime president of the Canadian Arab Federation. There was a time when this group was respected, and spoke reasonably and responsibly. Now it is shrill, militant and simply not taken seriously.
Just to prove the point, the hysterical Mouammar once again distributed “interesting” views about Jews on his mass e-mail. This time it was the theory Israel was behind the Norway massacre and “the Mossad’s fingerprints” are all over the attack.
Ah, those Hebrews. Now shape-shifting to resemble blond, blue-eyed Scandinavians. And you wonder why there is no peace in the Middle East!
Not much peace at the Caribbean Carnival in Toronto either, where there was a fatal shooting.
We’re all supposed to say this is a great parade and party, even though most of us have never been to it and have no intention of doing so.
But it gives white people street credibility, particularly if they’re in media. I’ve also heard the “one million” number for attendance, which is even more absurd when it’s claimed for the Pride parade.
Almost as bad as the shooting are the patently dishonest cries this could have happened anywhere, no to racism, blah, blah, blah. Really? Doesn’t happen at other, larger festivities.
Look, this is not about race, but it is about culture. There is a crisis in urban, black culture and white denial based on misplaced guilt only leads to more dead black kids.
It’s like the same latte liberals saying all religions are capable of terrorism, and then waiting around for news of the next Mennonite or Reform Jew to wipe out a village.
