Even in the midst of all the Obama Regime destruction, America has something to celebrate: Tea Party Patriots are keeping Obama from completing his threatened Fundamental Transformation of America.
But from its inception, the Tea Party Movement has never stopped asking.
Are the members of Congress who signed no-new taxes pledges engaging in a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States because President Obama is black? That’s the theory put forward by Calvin O. L. Henry, president of the Oregon Assembly for Black Affairs, in a July 5 letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
In his letter, Henry requests that the U.S. Department of Justice open a criminal investigation into the 274 Republican and three Democrats who have signed the pledges circulated by anti-tax activist Grover Norquist and his organization, Americans for Tax Reform.
“The undue influence of the Americans for Tax Reform and Grover Norquist and the signed pledges by 274 of the 289 members of the United States Congress reveal a sinister and open conspiracy to overthrow the Constitution of the United States by trying to cause President Obama to fail,” wrote Henry, who describes himself as a black American who served as an elections official in the Oregon secretary of state’s office.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE EFFECT OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS?
by One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet
(Aug. 6, 2011) — Imagine a crayon company being in the center of P.C.? Well. It’s true. The time is the future and someone asks, “What was the root cause of the end of freedom?” And the answer is…“Well, there was this company which made wax. They colored the wax with dyes, then shaped the colored wax into pencil-sized tubes and marketed the colored wax tubes for children to color stuff, hopefully on sheets of paper, but once in a while children would enjoy coloring refrigerators, walls, and doors.” “But what does that have to do with anything?” “It’s all about P.C., which is short for Political Correctness, which is the catch-word for “Stupid” and “Affirmative Action.”
It goes like this: you have a group of people who have been in this country long before the Revolutionary War; in other words, as long as anyone else. And then you have other groups, such as Koreans and, most recently, Vietnamese, who are what you would call recent legal immigrants, who embraced the American dream, learned to speak and write English, did well in school, and became a contributing part of society.
Meanwhile, this other group, the group that’s been here forever, like two hundred years, hasn’t yet figured out that writing and speaking English is probably a pretty good idea if one lives in an English-speaking country. Yet the recent legal arrivals figured out the language angle. So the people who could write and speak English felt bad for the lazy and ignorant people who have been here forever and, to make nice, they decided to lower the standards of colleges and universities so that today’s graduates are just as dumb as the smartest non-writing and non- English-speaking students.
Texas Congressman and GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul continues to champion constitutional rights. His latest endeavor is a bill that would abolish “gun-free zones,” ultimately permitting teachers to carry firearms on school grounds. Predictably, anti-gun groups are calling the legislation “extremist.”
The Gun-Free School Zones Act was first enacted as section 1702 of the Crime Control Act of 1990. The text of the act reads, “It shall be unlawful for any individual knowingly to possess a firearm that has moved in or that otherwise affects interstate or foreign commerce at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.”
Paul’s bill will permit individuals, including teachers, to carry firearms onto high-school and middle-school campuses.
According to a news release from Gun Owners of America, the Gun-Free School Zones Act protects criminals. The release points to attacks at Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Fort Hood, all of which are “government facilities where the private possession of firearms was prohibited.”
The release continues, “It’s time to say NO to criminal safe zones. And a great place to start is the blatantly unconstitutional Gun-free School Zones Act.”

Georgetown University professor C. Christine Fair has written a post at Registan.net alleging that Nicholas Schmidle’s New Yorker cover story detailing the Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound may be a fraud.
At the very least, Fair alleges, Schmidle failed to interview the Navy SEALs involved in the operation–which is not mentioned anywhere in the article, but is apparent from a close analysis of the text.
Is that really the way bin Laden dyed? (pun intended)

Illuminati Warning: Martial Law Plans Revealed?
The 100 Cheesiest Movie Quotes of All Time
Blogs Obama: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED posted by Wayne Allyn Root on Aug 05, 2011
Barack Obama is my college classmate (Columbia University Class of ’83). I tried to warn the country that virtually all of my classmates and professors were marxist, despised America, and wanted to bring down capitalism. I tried to warn the country that Obama would follow the detailed plan of two Columbia professors named Cloward and Piven- a plan designed to destroy capitalism by overwhelming the U.S. economy with government spending, regulations, entitlements, taxes and debt.
That is precisely why I authored one of the most popular commentaries on the entire Internet in 2010 entitled “The Obama Economic Plan- Purposely Overwhelming the System to Cause Crisis and Destroy Capitalism.” I predicted Obama’s radical tax and spend policies were designed to crash the system with debt, bring us to our knees, starve business owners (the biggest contributors to his political opposition), make us all doubt capitalism, and dependent on big government. It’s all come to pass.

Think Nobody Is Going To Vote For Obama in 2012? Think Again…
Posted on Saturday, August 06, 2011 5:34:05 PM by My Favorite Headache
I have been reading on dozens of threads how “toast” Obama is come 2012…how there is no way he will win re-election in 2012 now that we have been downgraded and the hell we are living through.
Well…have a look at the comments from some of the 23 million who are fans of this man…this is just from today:
By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor
The chances of this story being true is almost nil. The chances of this being a staged coverup is over 80%. We believe these people were murdered to silence them. This is why.
We have solid information on two areas:
1. Osama bin Laden died in 2001 as an active CIA employee and his body was recovered in Afghanistan and taken to “the sand box.” We were told it was frozen. We have so much verification from this, CIA, US military and top officials. I have a direct confirmation from Bin Laden’s CIA handler who I grilled mercilessly on this.
2. The Abbottabad operation involved numerous American deaths, witnessed, bodies all over, a helicopter crash. These bodies were recovered by land vehicle from Islamabad and there was NO “successful” bin Laden operation of any kind. There was and has been a CIA safe house in Abbotabad where terror suspects were stored for years……………….

The decision by credit agency Standard and Poor’s to downgrade America’s AAA credit rating for the first time in 70 years is a massive blow to the credibility of the Obama administration, and a damning indictment of its handling of the economy. No doubt the White House will pathetically try to blame the Bush Administration, Republicans in Congress, and of course its favourite target, the Tea Party, for the move by S&P.
But without a shadow of a doubt, responsibility for the country’s financial mess and staggering levels of debt lie with the current US president and his administration. They have been in charge of running the economy for over 30 months, during which time the United States has witnessed an unprecedented increase in government spending and borrowing.

After Bin Laden was killed, Robert Gates was insistent that nothing be revealed about the unit that accomplished the deed. But one man could not keep his mouth shut: Joe Biden, who credited the SEALs in a speech:
Let me briefly acknowledge tonight’s distinguished honorees. Admiral James Stavridis is a, is the real deal. He can tell you more about and understands the incredible, the phenomenal, the just almost unbelievable capacity of his Navy SEALs and what they did last Sunday.
Further irresponsible leaks from the Obama administration revealed the unit involved, causing the unit members to fear for their safety and that of their families:
The Department of Defense is looking into ways to “pump up the security” for the team of Navy SEALs who helped kill Osama bin Laden after the commandos expressed concern for their safety and the safety of their families, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday.
Gates made the comment in response to a question at a town hall meeting at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A Marine asked what measures were being taken to protect “the identities and the lives” of the SEALs involved in the takedown of bin Laden in Pakistan a week ago, as well as other troops deployed in the region, from the threat of retaliation.
“We are very concerned about the security of our families – of your families and our troops, and also these elite units that are engaged in things like that. And without getting into any details … I would tell you that when I met with the team last Thursday, they expressed a concern about that, and particularly with respect to their families,” Gates told the audience.
“Frankly, a week ago Sunday, in the Situation Room, we all agreed that we would not release any operational details from the effort to take out bin Laden. That all fell apart on Monday, the next day.”
Gates specifically talked about the fear of potential retaliation:
Gates acknowledged the threat of retaliation against Team 6 and troops deployed in the region.
“There is an awareness that the threat of retaliation is increased because of the attacks – because of the action against bin Laden,” he said.
Today, that retaliation may have come to pass, as a Taliban RPG killed at least 20 members of Team 6, in “the single deadliest incident for U.S. soldiers by far” in the Afghanistan war. The members apparently were not part of the group involved in the raid, we are told (why are we told this? Won’t it keep the jihadis hunting?), and there is no way to know whether this was an orchestrated ambush targeting Team 6. But it is an important reminder why it’s not just comedy relief to have cynical glory-seekers and complete buffoons at the highest levels of

Dealing with the cyberworld’s dark side

Psychologists examine disturbing trends, offer tips on coping
WASHINGTON – People who are cyberstalked or harassed online experience higher levels of stress and trauma than people who are stalked or harassed in person, according to a presentation at the American Psychological Association’s 119th Annual Convention.
“Increasingly, stalkers use modern technology to monitor and torment their victims, and one in four victims report some form of cyberstalking, such as threatening emails or instant messaging,” said Elizabeth Carll, PhD, in a talk entitled, “Electronic Harassment and Cyberstalking: Intervention, Prevention and Public Policy.”
Emotional responses to the stress and trauma experienced by victims may include high levels of ongoing stress, anxiety, fear, nightmares, shock and disbelief, helplessness, hyper-vigilance, changes in eating, and sleeping difficulties, Carll said…………………….
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) – A military helicopter was shot down in eastern Afghanistan, killing 31 U.S. special operation troops, most of them from the elite Navy SEALs unit that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, along with seven Afghan commandos. It was the deadliest single incident for American forces in the decade-long war.
Rahm Emanuel “Begged” Obama Not To Push Healthcare
Rahm Emanuel “Begged” Obama Not To Push Healthcare:
“In his new book on President Obama’s first year in office, ‘The Promise,’ Jonathan Alter includes a quote from the president’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, illustrating just how opposed Emanuel was to the president’s push for comprehensive health care reform.
‘I begged him not to do this,’ Emanuel told Alter, as detailed by the Washington Post‘s Greg Sargent, writing off advanced excerpts put out ahead of the book’s release Tuesday. (Hotsheet just got its copy of the book and is planning to dig into it this weekend.)
The president overruled Emanuel, telling him, according to the book, that he ‘wasn’t sent here to do school uniforms.’

Because the problems are but symptoms of the illness.
Two of the symptoms appeared just in the last few hours: the downgrade of U.S. debt, and the shooting down of a Chinook helicopter in Afghanistan, killing 31 U.S. special forces.
The downgrade is not just an economic blow; it’s a disgrace. The helicopter is not an isolated incident, but consistent with stepped up attacks by a Taliban sensing our eagerness to leave.
The illness, perceived by a country that overwhelmingly says things are on the wrong track, is such: This country is out of control, and the president is either incompetent or unwilling to lead it.
Other symptoms abound: the abnegation of the U.S. leadership in the world, the rise of China to take our place, the failure to deal with a gnat like Qaddafi, the high price of gasoline, the millions of jobless Americans.
The president has both created the illness and failed to cure it, because he has failed to rise above his limitations: He is a leader who has never led anything larger than a Senate office, and he is a liberal ideologue.
The credit downgrade is the direct result of the president’s failure to get a handle on the cascading U.S. debt, a potentially existential threat to the nation. Instead of proposing serious solutions, he has actually raised spending, increasing outlays for many discretionary domestic programs and dropping an $800 billion stimulus bomb on the country.
And he took a trillion in potential debt reduction off the table when he “paid for” his health reform law, which will inevitably cost even more. This was exactly like someone who is maxed out on their credit cards heading over to Best Buy and coming home with a top of the line 60? flat screen TV and a state of the art sound system.
Like such a compulsive shopper, Obama just had to have it. His ideology trumped any sense of responsible management of the country.
Similarly the war in Afghanistan. Presented by the military with the options of increasing troops by 80,000 to get the job done or 40,000 to maybe get the job done, he took 35,000. And just as even this limited number was starting to have some success, he began withdrawing them.
If the job is not going to get done, it would have been better to take the option that had been offered by Vice President Biden – ignominious defeat, with the withdrawal of most troops while trying to keep the pressure on al Qaeda. At least we wouldn’t be wasting lives.
But the president harbors the traditional liberal abhorrence of anything having to do with war. It just is not in him to fight a war in the brutal manner necessary to win it. And so we have incompetent leadership in wartime.
Conservatives will be out in force in 2012 because of Obama’s ideology. But what’s worse for him, independents are turning on him because of his incompetence.
Both groups will be responding to the pervasive sickness, that of a great nation suffering indignities and crises it hasn’t experienced since the era of the last failed Democratic president, Jimmy Carter.

Manassas, VA –(Ammoland.com)- At last count, a full half of the US Senate had signed onto a July letter to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton declaring their opposition to any United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) which includes infringement on US citizens’ rights to possess firearms.
While I applaud this effort, I have to say that I’m disappointed in the senators’ narrow focus in the letter.
Protecting the Second Amendment and warning Obama and Clinton not to agree to any treaty which might infringe on the rights of Americans ignores what the UN is doing to citizens of other countries. The right to arms is not just an American right, it is a basic human right extrapolated from the right to self-defense. Human beings have an individual right to defend themselves and their families, and citizens – regardless of what country – have a moral obligation to also defend others who are unable to defend themselves.
If the UN were forwarding a plan to limit voting to males only or to institute broad government controls over the press, our senators would not stop at our constitution and our borders in their denunciation of the plans. Instead they would expound upon the importance of universal suffrage and the necessity of a free press – for all people everywhere. They would not just “strongly encourage” the administration to “uphold our country’s constitutional protections,” they would demand that the administration reject and actively oppose any treaty which could be in any way construed to support such restrictions on basic rights in any nation. United Nations Arms Trade Treaty
The right to arms is as much a component of that revolutionary and successful philosophy called free speech or the right to assembly.
The right to arms is just as important a concept as the right to vote, the right to express oneself freely and publicly, and the right to a fair trial before a jury of ones peers. It is part of the progressive, liberal heritage of our nation. (From a time before the words “progressive” and “liberal” were co-opted by communists and socialists to mean government controlled.) The constitutional right to arms has roots in English Common Law, but the philosophy runs much deeper and broader than the English could ever manage because they were tied to a monarch. When America broke away from the monarchy we also cut the restraints that system placed on our understanding of liberty. We became the cutting edge, and embodiment, of liberal (libertarian) philosophy and we reaped the rewards of that philosophy. It is part of what made America so exceptional for most of the past 200 years, and the right to arms is as much a component of that revolutionary and successful philosophy as free speech or the right to assembly. It was seen as even more important than the right to vote, as that right was originally limited to only White, male, property holders while the right to arms belonged to “the people.”
Freedom is a religion which demands evangelism. We don’t have to require that other nations meet all of our standards before we will do business with them, but we should encourage right and oppose wrong – and restrictions on the individual right to arms is clearly wrong.
Members of the US Senate should understand the philosophical significance of the right to arms and the importance of promoting US philosophy and principles of freedom. Their letter focusing on only the potential impact of the proposed UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) on US citizens is much too narrow and shortsighted. Unfortunately, it seems the senators are following the lead of the NRA, who should definitely know better.
The UN ATT has been a distant rumble for the past several years with little progress being made and little exposure to the public outside of over-hyped rhetoric in fundraising letters from rights groups. I have tended to downplay concern about the treaty because it wasn’t showing much life, but now the treaty is getting closer to reality and it’s time to start worrying about something actually being passed by the middle of next year. The best way to keep that from happening is to pressure your politicians to return to principled arguments and to demand that Obama and Clinton actively oppose any arms treaty which includes restrictions on any personal firearms, ammunition, or components – not just in the US, but anywhere in the world.
Ask your Senators if they signed the letter – if not, why not – if so, thank them and encourage them to move to a more principled position. While you’re at it, if you’re a member of the NRA you might drop them a line asking why they are focusing only on the potential impact of this treaty on US gun owners rather than espousing and defending the principles of freedom for all people everywhere.

Thank goodness he is the greatest man in human history, otherwise we might be in trouble.
Island of sanity, ship of fools.”
We cling to an island of truth and sanity in a sea of hatred, lies, confusion, and sheer stupidity.
And these past couple of weeks, that island has been battered by storms. Mind you, at least it doesn’t have to worry about a chunk of it wanting to separate.
Unlike Canada, one of the greatest national experiments of all time. We don’t conquer and dominate, but we are an extraordinary country.
Yet still a bunch of extremists in Quebec want to leave. Fine, let them moan. But don’t allow one of their own to lead an ostensibly federalist party, the NDP, and then claim to care about “Canadian families.”
All of them, or just the ones who speak French and live in Quebec?
Let’s be candid here. Half of the NDP parliamentary caucus is composed of people with ludicrous ideas, and many of them are separatists. That party leader Nycole Turmel was a member of the separatist party, and still a member of separatist organizations, says much about the socialists, as does their incompetence in making her their interim boss.
Sorry comrades, you’re just not ready for prime time.
Neither is fellow lefty Khaled Mouammar, outgoing and longtime president of the Canadian Arab Federation. There was a time when this group was respected, and spoke reasonably and responsibly. Now it is shrill, militant and simply not taken seriously.
Just to prove the point, the hysterical Mouammar once again distributed “interesting” views about Jews on his mass e-mail. This time it was the theory Israel was behind the Norway massacre and “the Mossad’s fingerprints” are all over the attack.
Ah, those Hebrews. Now shape-shifting to resemble blond, blue-eyed Scandinavians. And you wonder why there is no peace in the Middle East!
Not much peace at the Caribbean Carnival in Toronto either, where there was a fatal shooting.
We’re all supposed to say this is a great parade and party, even though most of us have never been to it and have no intention of doing so.
But it gives white people street credibility, particularly if they’re in media. I’ve also heard the “one million” number for attendance, which is even more absurd when it’s claimed for the Pride parade.
Almost as bad as the shooting are the patently dishonest cries this could have happened anywhere, no to racism, blah, blah, blah. Really? Doesn’t happen at other, larger festivities.
Look, this is not about race, but it is about culture. There is a crisis in urban, black culture and white denial based on misplaced guilt only leads to more dead black kids.
It’s like the same latte liberals saying all religions are capable of terrorism, and then waiting around for news of the next Mennonite or Reform Jew to wipe out a village.
In Washington, President Obama — peace be upon him — once again mismanaged a crisis and then blamed everybody apart from himself and his people for the U.S. financial quagmire.
Thank goodness he is the greatest man in human history, otherwise we might be in trouble.
Island of sanity, ship of fools.

“Democracy isn’t always a good thing,” Obama suggested. “Members of Congress are elected by vastly divergent constituencies. The institution is incapable of speaking with one voice. Consequently, precious time was lost by the requirement to gain legislative approval for what we all knew needed to be done. It wasn’t bad just for me. Members of Congress had to put in long hours arguing over minutia that ultimately won’t matter. They could’ve spent that time enjoying life, recreating, being with their families.”
The President characterized the debt ceiling legislation’s “Council of 12” as a step in the right direction. “One good thing that came out of this struggle was a provision to streamline the legislative process,” Obama said. “Instead of having to deal with 100 senators and 400 representatives, a council of 12 members will have plenary powers to control future spending and taxes. Thankfully, none of those who voted against the debt ceiling bill are eligible to serve on this council. So, while we haven’t completely freed ourselves from the impediments of Congress we have significantly reduced its impact.”
“I am optimistic that if things go according to plan we will after 2012 achieve a more unified governing process,” the President added.
