Ron Paul’s liberty will give us death
This author makes me want to puke.
Ron Paul may not be an ideal candidate, but many of his principles could save our party and our nation.
Those Freepers who express contempt for him because of the aspects they disagree with disgust me.
Never forget:
“If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals–if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.
“Now, I can’t say that I will agree with all the things that the present group who call themselves Libertarians in the sense of a party say, because I think that like in any political movement there are shades, and there are libertarians who are almost over at the point of wanting no government at all or anarchy. I believe there are legitimate government functions. There is a legitimate need in an orderly society for some government to maintain freedom or we will have tyranny by individuals. The strongest man on the block will run the neighborhood. We have government to insure that we don’t each one of us have to carry a club to defend ourselves. But again, I stand on my statement that I think that libertarianism and conservatism are travelling the same path.”
-Ronald Reagan, 1975
Ron Paul’s liberty will give us death
Since the unfortunate results of the Ames straw poll were announced, a constant mewling and bleating has gone up from several sectors of the political system. Faced with a media that represents (accurately) the top tier of the Republican Presidential Nominating Contest as Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, with a few idle and unproductive fantasies about Rick Santorum or Jon Huntsman recovering, the partisans of one particularly impotent politician shriek their discontent:
“What about Ron Paul?! He took second! Doesn’t he warrant a mention?”
This meme has been echoed even by the likes of Jon Stewart, whose fanciful quest to ferret out every trace of hypocrisy on the side of his opponents has instead led him down the rabbit hole of self-righteousness and false punditry, always thinly veiled by a layer of badly applied clown makeup. Nevertheless, the question must be asked: What about Ron Paul?

These Orangutans Play with iPads
Orangutans, it turns out, love the iPad and its games just as much as some humans do.
A budding program at the Milwaukee County Zoo is working to place iPads into the giant, gentle palms of their orangutans. Two of the zoo’s orangutans already look forward to weekly sessions with an iPad. They even have favorite apps, shows and games, but they haven’t yet been given free rein with the Apple device because keepers worry they might get frustrated and simply snap one in half.
“One of the biggest hurdles we face is that an orangutan can snap an iPad like you or I could rip cardboard,” said Richard Zimmerman, executive director of Orangutan Outreach, which hopes to extend Milwaukee‘s iPad enrichment program to zoos around the country. “Even the little guys like Mahal are incredibly strong. A big male could take it apart in about five seconds.”
Before extending the program, allowing the orangutan’s to have personal iPads, Zimmerman and his group needs to find an orangutan-proof case. But the program is still making strides in its infancy in Milwaukee.
It started as an April Fool’s joke, Scott Engel, the iPad Enrichment Coordinator at the zoo, tells me.
“A friend of a friend who is a gorilla keeper at the zoo was half-joking about getting an iPad to use with gorillas after seeing a story in the UK Sun,” he said.
While the Sun’s story was an April Fool’s Day joke, Engel thought, ‘Why not?’ So he contacted Milwaukee County Zoo to float the idea of using his old iPad to work with orangutans. Now Engel spends 20 minutes three-to-four days a week working with MJ and Mahal.
Engel started by showing the two the device through the glass where visitors usually stand. The first thing he did was turn on his iPad 2‘s camera and let the two use the device as a sort of mirror.
“It was amazing to see how they welcomed this strange device into their area,” he said.
Once they were used to the iPad, the keepers started using the device in a back area where the orangutans could reach through a cage door and touch it. Last week, the two had their first chance to go completely hands and feet on with the device, though it still isn’t allows in the enclosure with them.

Congressman clobbers “frontrunner” in Governor’s home state
Paul Joseph Watson
August 17, 2011
Fresh on the heels of his well-received second placing in the Ames straw poll on Saturday, Ron Paul has trounced so-called “frontrunner” Rick Perry in a presidential survey of voters in both candidate’s home state of Texas.
Ron Paul Trounces Rick Perry In Presidential Poll Perry 2012 8 1052082c
“Answering the question, “If the Texas Republican primary were held today, which presidential candidate would you be most likely to vote for?” 22 percent of those polled selected Mr. Paul. Just 17 percent of respondents voted in favor of Mr. Perry,” reports the State Column.
The survey was conducted by Azimuth Research Group.
Paul has lambasted Rick Perry as another RINO Republican, a wolf in sheep’s clothing who poses as a firebrand conservative and yet through his actions has proven himself to be an establishment figure.
“[Governor Perry] is getting into the race, I think, doesn’t bother me at all, obviously because he pretty much represents the status quo. And the other candidates, in one way or the other, are part of the status quo. And I represent something different,” Paul said earlier this week.
Congressman Paul has made waves this week following controversy over the establishment media’s deliberate policy to ignore his candidacy, an issue that became the focus of a Jon Stewart Daily Show skit that has since gone viral and received millions of views after being posted on the Drudge Report.
In the days following the fallout from the straw poll result, the establishment media has now seemingly switched tactics. Instead of simply pretending Ron Paul doesn’t exist, they have resorted to re-hashing a decades-old smear about racist comments that were never even made or approved by Paul, a claim that was thoroughly debunked during the last presidential election cycle four years ago.
Watch Ron Paul’s bombshell new campaign ad below that is upsetting many amongst the GOP establishment.

Man Drives Motorized Beer Cooler, Gets DUI: 50 CC Engine! (VIDEO)
An Austrian man has gotten a DUI for driving a motorized beer cooler with a 50 CC engine. The man reportedly was driving his motorized beer cooler intoxicated. Inside the cooler were bottles of beer and an engine
Oh sweet irony! According to Fox News, Christopher Ian Petrie, 23, faces charges of driving without a license and a DUI after police caught pulled him over.
Inside the beer cooler was 48 bottles of beer and a 50 cc engine. The incident occurred on June 16, in Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast just north of Brisbane.
“Petrie’s lawyers won an adjournment from magistrate John Parker as they sought to establish “whether a motorized esky [cooler box] was in fact a motor vehicle.”
He was fined £300 and has lost his license for 10 months. (c) tPC

Motorized Beer Cooler Lands Driver In Court
An Australian man was fined and had his license suspended after being caught driving a scooter made of a motorized beer cooler capable of carrying several dozen drinks.
The scooter featured a cooler box mounted on a wheeled frame, a steering handlebar and was powered by a 50 cc engine. The cooler doubled as a driver’s seat and could hold up to 48 bottles of beer, Reuters reported.
Chris Petrie, 23, bought the scooter on the Internet for $600. After assembling it with a friend, he had a few beers and decided to drive it home.
Petrie was arrested en route and found to be more than three times over Australia’s legal blood alcohol limit. He was charged with drink driving and driving without a license.

New Warning About Muslim Brotherhood’s Influence on White House From…Liberal Marxist Muslim
You‘ll never guess who’s now warning about a Muslim Brotherhood influence at the White House. Newt Gingrich? Nope. John Bolton? Not exactly.
Instead, it’s Canadian political activist, devout Muslim and self-described liberal Marxist, Tarek Fatah. Surprised?
Back in June, Fatah appeared at Ideacity, Canada’s “Premier meeting of the minds” to share his shocking viewpoints on both mainstream and radical Islam (including the Muslim Brotherhood). During his fascinating talk, Fatah said that “the religion of Islam is being used as a tool by a fascist force.” It is important to note that Fatah is also a Muslim. Perhaps most shocking, though, were his words about the Muslim Brotherhood and its relation to the American presidency. He said:
“Instead of bringing victory over the fascist forces of the Muslim Brotherhood, we now recognize that their infiltration is right up to the American White House, but we can’t say that.”

Agenda 21 – What Is It? Apparently is is a plan to reduce the population
Posted on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 3:44:33 PM by TEXOKIE
Several people have become interested in a quite controversial topic called “AGENDA 21.” They have requested being on a ping list for this topic.
While I do not have time to do a thorough treatment of this subject, nor am I in any way an expert, I am willing at least for a time,to ping people as I run across articles which might pertain to this concern.
It might be good to start with an examination of just what it is or might be.
To kick this discussion and exploration off,I did a Google search (just for fun) on “Agenda 21.” There were a number of YouTube clips and various blogger links which surfaced in answer to the query.
The bottom line of this Agenda appears to be the plot, plan, and preparation of some very evil people (ie the UN and others) to reduce the population so that the Power Elite can control the people more easily.
Here are some of the links:

OUTRAGE OF THE DAY: Do You Realize That The Government Is Still Paying Banks Not To Lend…?
One of the most outrageous “open secrets” of U.S. government policy these days is that the Federal Reserve is still paying big banks not to lend money.
And it’s doing that while screwing average Americans who have been responsible and lived within their means.
Huh?
Seriously:
The Federal Reserve is quietly continuing with one of the many outrageous bank-bailout programs it initiated during the financial crisis–the one in which it pays big banks interest on their “excess reserves.”
What are “excess reserves”?
Money that the banks have but aren’t lending out–money that banks are just keeping on deposit at the Fed.
The Fed is paying banks 0.25% interest on this money.
0.25% interest may not sound like much, but it’s more than the banks are paying you to keep money in your savings or money-market account. It’s also more than you’ll earn if you lend the Federal government money for 2 years.
Oh, by the way, why, exactly, are you earning so little interest in your savings accounts and money-market funds?
Well, because, thanks to another one of its bank-bailout programs, the Fed is keeping short-term interest rates at zero.
In other words, the Fed is paying banks not to lend money and screwing you, American citizens, because you’re dumb enough to have saved money.
This is just so bass-ackwards it’s not to be believed.
Why on earth is the Fed paying banks not to lend? Well, back in the financial crisis, the Fed wanted to find ways to secretly bail out the banks without it being screamingly obvious to every American that that was what it was doing.

Prison Planet.com » Big Sis’ Latest Terrorists: More White Americans
Despite causing controversy last month with a video that portrayed white middle class Americans as the most likely terrorists, the Department of Homeland Secutiy has released yet another PSA that depicts an attempt to bomb a subway station not by Al-Qaeda Muslims, but well-dressed white people.
A new Public Service Announcement entitled ‘The Drop Off – If You See Something, Say Something’ was unveiled by none other than Big Sis herself, Janet Napolitano, on the Homeland Security website today.
The PSA, which will be played on television and radio stations, shows a well dressed attractive white woman exiting a taxi before walking into a subway station. The taxi driver – a white man – then makes a phone call and sets a timer on a device in the trunk of the car. The woman then leaves her bag in the station.
“If you see something, say something – report suspicious activity to local authorties,” states the voiceover as the clip ends with other commuters reporting the incident to a black security guard and a black police officer.
In her accompanying statement to the video, DHS chief Napolitano also hints that gun stores could be a prime breeding ground for terrorists, making reference to a recent case where, “the owner of a gun store near Ft. Hood called authorities when an individual in his store was behaving in a suspicious manner.”

Now Answer Some Questions (The GOP candidates so far have left crucial questions unanswered)
With the Ames Straw Poll behind us, the race for the Republican presidential nomination is starting to pick up speed. That means it is more important than ever that we know just where the candidates stand.
Unfortunately, we can expect much of the media attention over the coming weeks to be focused on the “horse race” aspects of the campaign. Will Perry or Bachmann become the conservative alternative to Romney? Is there a dark horse out there somewhere? Who will make the next gaffe?
The candidates are not likely to make things easier. If what we have seen so far is any indication, we can expect lots of Obama-bashing, promises to be the most conservative candidate in the race, and platitudes about American greatness.
So, with that in mind, here are a few questions I’d like to see them answer:
What three programs (at least) would you cut or eliminate?
Every Republican candidate has called for balancing the federal budget. Every candidate is also, justifiably, opposed to raising taxes. Since the federal government will spend $1.1 trillion more this year than it takes in, that means spending will have to be cut. Of course, everyone is against “fraud, waste, and abuse.” But the last time I looked, there is no line item called “fraud, waste, and abuse” in the federal budget. Across-the-board spending cuts are another type of cop out. They preserve worthless or wasteful programs, albeit at lower levels, while cutting programs that are actually useful. Balancing the budget without raising taxes is going to require cutting specific programs, so tell us which ones you would cut. And promising to “go through the budget line by line” or the equivalent doesn’t count. Surely by now you have figured out some specific programs that you are willing to cut — even if it means offending that program’s supporters.
How would you reform entitlements?
Answering the first question was actually the easy part. Domestic discretionary spending makes up less than 20 percent of the federal budget. If you eliminated it all — the Department of Education, the Department of Commerce, the FDA, the FBI — we would still be running a deficit. Ultimately, dealing with our deficit and debt requires dealing with entitlements, particularly Medicare and Social Security. But so far we’ve heard little more than vague generalities. Do you support Paul Ryan’s plan for Medicare reform? If not, what would you do? What about Social Security? Would you cut benefits? Should young workers be allowed to save a portion of their payroll taxes in personal accounts?
Are you a fair-weather federalist?
Republicans have become fond of quoting the Tenth Amendment recently: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” But we’ve heard that before. President Bush was all for states rights until a state did something he didn’t like, such as legalize medical marijuana or physician-assisted suicide. What happens now if a state, say, chooses to permit gay marriage? Already former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum has attacked Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Texas governor Rick Perry for even hinting that states have that authority. And Bachmann and Perry have started to go wobbly on the issue.
Are there any limits to our military commitments?
We are now fighting at least three wars, not counting drone attacks and covert actions. We have troops in more than 100 countries and are still guarding South Korea from North Korea and Germany from, well, something. Are all these military commitments still necessary? Under what circumstances would you commit U.S. troops to combat? It’s not enough to say you would protect U.S. vital interests. What are those vital interests? Promoting democracy? Human rights? Fighting every last terrorist in any country that they pop up in? Ensuring “stability” in every area of the globe?
What is the proper role of government?
It’s not possible to think of every possible issue that may come up during your presidency. That’s why it’s so important to know your animating principles when it comes to government. Is it government’s role to “create jobs”? Should government enforce moral values? What things can only government do, and what should be left to civil society? Is there anything that you think is a good idea, but still shouldn’t be government policy?

Congress and Obama: We Need More Innocent People in Prison by William L. Anderson
This past year, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down much of the “Honest Services Fraud” law that federal prosecutors were using as the catch-all for targeting whomever they wanted to have thrown into prison. As I wrote two years ago, this law was the ultimate prosecutorial weapon for people who already have an arsenal of injustice.

We Need More Innocent People in Government Cages
According to Obama and Congress. Article by Bill Anderson.
*****
Well, just when you thought it was safe to go back into the courtroom, the Obama administration and the U.S. Senate want to tag team in order to give federal prosecutors the power to send anyone they choose to prison, no matter if the accused has committed a crime or not. For readers who think I am exaggerating, think again. As I wrote in 2009:
You might not have robbed a bank or stolen anything, or engaged in any of the 10,000 “crimes” that federal prosecutors have in their buffet line, but I can guarantee that you are “guilty” of “honest services fraud.” Have you ever taken a longer lunch break than what you are supposed to do? Have you ever made a personal phone call at work or done personal business on your employer’s computer? Have you ever had a contract dispute with an employer or a client? All of those things can be criminalized by an enterprising federal prosecutor.
If you are an attorney and have signed forms even though you have not read every word in them (for example, the standard closing documents for real estate), then you have committed “honest services fraud.” The list goes on and on, but most likely by now you have the picture: you are guilty even if you never are placed in the dock in federal criminal court.
One would think that with the USA housing a fourth of the world’s prisoners and the building of prisons being a boom industry, that someone in Washington might be ashamed of this state of affairs. But, as the Wall Street Journal has noted, Obama and members of Congress apparently believe that the prison jobs/slavery process must go on:
Since the Supreme Court limited the definition of “honest services” fraud in last year’s landmark Skilling v. U.S., the Obama Administration has been looking for a way to restore essentially unlimited prosecutorial discretion to bring white-collar cases. Last fall Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer told a Senate committee that Congress should act to “remedy” the Court’s decision. Three bills moving through the House and Senate would try to do so, expanding the reach of prosecutors to go after unpopular politicians or businesses whom they can’t pin with a real crime……………………….

Taxed Into Oblivion Taxed Into Oblivion
In the United States today, we are being taxed into oblivion, yet it is being done so stealthily that most Americans don’t even realize what is happening. Most people are fixated on federal income tax rates, but the federal income tax is only one of the dozens of different taxes that each of us pay each year. The politicians have learned that people get really upset when income tax rates are raised, so they have found hundreds of other ways to raise taxes on us.
ELIMINATE MILITARY PENSIONS?

They want to cut military pensions.
The Obama Administration’s panel of smart guys has decided military retirement has to go.
Welfare can stay, free pills for Grama can stay, bogus SSI checks for life can stay, Food Stamps for soda and steak can stay, cushy federal civilian benefits stay, congressional compensation packages remain the same, but pensions for guys on their fourth tour, well, we can’t afford them.
You now what this means?
It means the military is a small and Republican-leaning voting bloc that the Democrats don’t care about alienating. It means that veterans have no political pull – on either the support or the consciences of the politicians.
To balance the budget, in the Obama world, we target millionaires and the military. And not just weapons systems, but the men and women who use them.
We pull the rug out from under them.

Ronald Reagan’s wisdom on the Middle East: LEAVE!
OC Register ^ | July 21, 2006 | John Seiler

Ronald Reagan is America‘s most beloved president of recent years. We remember how he restored prosperity while ending the Cold War without getting us all nuked….
It’s worth looking back on Reagan’s policy on involving U.S. troops in the quarrels and hatreds of the Middle East. In 1983, he committed U.S. Marines to Lebanon. On Oct. 23, a terrorist truck bomb blew up the troops’ barracks, killing 220 Marines and 21 other troops.
At first, Reagan insisted that he wouldn’t cave in to the terrorist threat. Then he realized the best policy was to pull out the troops. Here’s how he explained it in his autobiography:
Perhaps we didn’t appreciate fully enough the depth of the hatred and the complexity of the problems that made the Middle East such a jungle. Perhaps the idea of a suicide car bomber committing mass murder to gain instant entry to Paradise was so foreign to our own values and consciousness that it did not create in us the concern for the marines’ safety that it should have.
In the weeks immediately after the bombing, I believed the last thing that we should do was turn tail and leave. Yet the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics forced us to rethink our policy there. If there would be some rethinking of policy before our men die, we would be a lot better off. If that policy had changed towards more of a neutral position and neutrality, those 241 marines would be alive today.
Reagan’s sensible policy — “neutral position and neutrality” — should be followed today…. And troops now in Iraq should be brought home immediately. Almost 2,600 have been killed in Iraq, 10 times the number killed in Lebanon when Reagan decided to leave.

Mozilla Unleashes Firefox 6
At Mozilla the trains run on time. The open source group is out with its second rapid release browser today, providing users with improved functionality and performance.
Firefox 6, which is being officially released by Mozilla today, follows Firefox 5, which debuted in July. Both Firefox 5 and 6 are part of Mozilla’s new rapid release cycle, which aims to deliver more browser updates with incremental features. Previously Mozilla had released major browser update on a less predictable cycle with long with development cycles of a year or longer in between releases.
While the new rapid release cycle does not present the same volume of new features as the longer release cycles, Mozilla is confident that the process is working.
“We’re refining our own process constantly and are seeing dividends with smooth transitions as a release moves from Aurora to Beta to release,” a Mozilla spokesperson told InternetNews.com
The Aurora channel is Mozilla’s development release for Mozilla and is followed by the beta and then finally the release. Work is often done in parallel on Aurora and Beta channels as part of the rapid release cycle methodology.
One of the key improvements in Firefox 6, which will further be expanded upon in Firefox 7 and 8, is performance improvements.
“With Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux, Panorama users will enjoy faster start-up times because tab groups are only loaded when selected,” Mozilla’s spokesperson said.
Panorama is a feature that debuted in Firefox 4, enabling users to group tabs. The Panorama feature began its life as a Mozilla Labs project known as Tab Candy.
Firefox 6 is also being released for Android users. The new Android release offers faster zooming, crisp text and reduced pixelation due to enhanced image rendering.
“There are even more improvements coming in Firefox Beta and Firefox Aurora,” Mozilla’s spokesperson said.
For developers, Mozilla is including a new tool called Scratchpad that is intended to make it simple to quickly enter, execute, test and refine JavaScript snippets in Firefox without needing to work in a one-line console.
“Scratchpad is a simple tool, and we want it to stay that way,” Mozilla’s spokesperson said. “We’re planning a handful of improvements to Scratchpad that will show up in Firefox over the coming months, but the simple text editor that runs JavaScript core will remain.”
Firefox 6 will also support the Event/Source specification that is an emerging standard at the W3C.
“This specification defines an API for opening an HTTP connection for receiving push notifications from a server in the form of DOM events,” the W3C specification draft states. “The API is designed such that it can be extended to work with other push notification schemes such as Push SMS.”
Mozilla isn’t the first browser to implement Event/Source. Both Chrome and Opera already support the draft specification.

Chuck Baldwin — “Come Out of Her, My People”
It is no hyperbole to say that the vast majority of today’s churches do not remotely resemble the New Testament pattern. In the first place, the Church was never intended to be a government corporation! Yet, that is exactly what every 501c3 non-profit “religious” organization is: it is a government-created corporation. In the eyes of the government, pastors, elders, and deacons are not pastors, elders, and deacons; they are corporate officers. And put to the test, virtually any and all of these so-called “pastors,” “elders,” and “deacons,” will confirm that they are corporate officers. So, right out of the gate we must understand that we are dealing with government corporations and corporate officers, not with New Testament churches, pastors, elders, and deacons.
Pray tell, where do you find anything in the New Testament about churches joining with the State, or being incorporated by the State, or being required to submit to the State? It’s not there! The 501c3 corporation status has turned the Lord’s Church into mere creatures of the State.
Therefore, please remember, when you “worship” inside these government corporations, when you give your tithes and offerings to these government corporations, you are NOT supporting “the Lord’s work.” You are supporting the work of the State. You might as well be paying taxes; it amounts to virtually the same thing. The same is true for all these TV preachers. They are all 501c3 incorporated!
GOP Candidates Must Declare Opposition to Sharia

Rick Perry has set many a heart a-flutter by joining the hunt for the Republican presidential nomination, but not so fast: Hard-Left advocacy journalist Justin Elliott of Salon hailed Perry as the “pro-Sharia candidate,” and exulted that Perry “is a friend of the the Aga Khan, the religious leader of the Ismailis, a sect of Shia Islam that claims a reported 15 to 20 million adherents worldwide. Sprouting from that friendship are at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and Ismaili institutions, including a far-reaching program to educate Texas schoolchildren about Islam.”
The Ismailis are a peaceful sect, but such educational efforts are unlikely to be honest about the Islamic texts and teachings that jihad terrorists use to justify violence and make recruits among peaceful Muslims. Nor are they likely to be forthright about Islam’s bloody history of war against and conquest and subjugation of Jews, Christians, Hindus and others. All that is likely to be whitewashed, especially given Perry’s apparent friendship with Republican power broker Grover Norquist.
David Horowitz wrote years ago that Norquist was working with “prominent Islamic radicals who have ties to the Saudis and to Libya and to Palestine Islamic Jihad, and who are now under indictment by U.S. authorities.” Norquist is unrepentant and continues to partner with Islamic supremacists.
Also among the presidential hopefuls, albeit as yet undeclared, is New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who this year appointed a Muslim attorney, Sohail Mohammed, to a Superior Court judgeship in Passaic County. Mohammed was the lawyer for Mohammad Qatanani, a Muslim Brotherhood operative who pleaded guilty to membership in the jihad terror group Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Christie knew this, yet called Qatanani “a man of great good will” and “a constructive force,” and fought Department of Homeland Security efforts to deport him. When challenged, Christie defended his actions and went out of his way to slam opposition to Sharia in the U.S. as “crap.”
Is Qatanani entitled to legal representation? Of course. Should Mohammed’s taking of the case stigmatize him as sympathetic with Qatanani’s pro-jihad views and ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood? Certainly not. But when Christie praises Qatanani as a “constructive force” and fights his deportation despite knowing of his membership in a jihad terror group (Hamas) and the Islamic supremacist group par excellence (the Muslim Brotherhood), and then appoints his lawyer to a judgeship, it becomes clear what is going on here.
Then there is Herman Cain, who started out strongly, albeit with some clumsily worded statements, as the only candidate who manifested a deep awareness of the magnitude of the threat from Islamic law, a comprehensive political system that denies the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience and the equality of rights of all people before the law. Islamic law has now been a determining factor in court cases in 23 states, so this is no trivial matter, and Cain seemed determined to resist its advance in the United States.
Determined, that is, until he met with representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood-linked All Dulles Area Muslim Society—the ADAMS Center. Cain then issued a statement saying he was “humble and contrite for any statements I have made that might have caused offense to Muslim Americans and their friends,” and “truly sorry for any comments that may have betrayed my commitment to the U.S. Constitution and the freedom of religion guaranteed by it.”
Betrayed his commitment to the U.S. Constitution by appearing determined to fight against a serious threat to it? Betrayed his commitment to the freedom of religion by resisting a radically intolerant ideology that mandates second-class status for all people who believe differently?
Herman Cain will never be President of the United States, and that’s a good thing. His only distinctive position in this campaign was his opposition to Sharia, and now that he has surrendered to pro-Sharia Islamic supremacists, there is nothing noteworthy about his campaign at all. He joins Perry, Mitt “Jihadism Is Not Islam” Romney, Ron “They’re Terrorists Because We’re Occupiers” Paul and the rest in their general myopia about the nature of the threat we face, and cluelessness about what to do about it.
If any of these woefully inadequate candidates gets the Republican nomination and defeats Barack Obama, the only certainty for the subsequent four years will be more jihad, aided and abetted by shortsighted U.S. policies.
FORD VS MICROSOFT VS COMPUTERS
For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our lives, read on.
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, ‘If Ford had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.’
In response to Bill Gates’s comments, Ford issued a press release, stating: ‘If Ford had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part):
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash……… twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive – but would run on only five percent of the roads.
6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single ‘This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation’ warning light.
(I love the next one!!!) 7. The airbag system would ask ‘Are you sure?’ before deploying.
8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.
9. Every time a new car was introduced, car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as in the old car.
10. You’d have to press the ‘Start’ button to turn the engine off.
11. If you had to call On-Star you would be instructed in some foreign language how to fix your car yourself!!!!
12. If you multi-task while driving by turning on your radio, temperature control, lights, toot the horn etc., your car will drastically slow down or come to a screaching halt with each task!
So there Bill, put that in your hard drive and smoke it!
