500 arrested after protest on NY’s Brooklyn Bridge
NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say about 500 protesters have been arrested after they swarmed the Brooklyn Bridge and shut down a lane of traffic for several hours.
Police say some demonstrators spilled onto the roadway Saturday night after being told to stay on the pedestrian pathway. They face disorderly conduct and other charges. The lane has since reopened.
Occupy Wall Street demonstrators are railing against corporate greed, global warming and social inequality, among other grievances.
The group has been camped near the Financial District for two weeks and clashed with police on earlier occasions.
Earlier Saturday, two other marches went over the bridge without problems.

The Uniform Code of Military Justice is quite specific that in such a case even the Joint Chiefs can be punished with death, on order of a military tribunal.
The Uniform Codes of Military Justice, on the crime of treason says under Article 906 — Espionage, section c:

U.S. Admits Mexican (Drug) Cartels Control Parts Of Border
Janet Napolitano spent much of the spring sounding like a broken record ensuring that the U.S.-Mexico border is safe when the reality is that stretches are controlled by drug-trafficking organizations.
A new federal report exposing the ugly truth about the southern border has left President Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary with egg on her face. Published by the Justice Department’s National Drug Intelligence Center, the document contradicts much of what Napolitano has preached in the last few months during highly publicized jaunts to the crime-infested region.
Remember this? The Mexican border “is as secure as it has ever been.” Or what about this; violence along the Mexican border is merely a mistaken “perception” because the Obama Administration has successfully fostered a “secure and prosperous” region. Napolitano also said that “misinformation about safety” is negatively impacting border communities and that the U.S.-Mexico border is not “overrun or out of control.”
The truth is that Mexican drug cartels do in fact “control access to the U.S.-Mexico border” and the “smuggling routes across it,” according to the Justice Department’s drug assessment, which has been kept quiet by the administration. No press conferences or photo ops to promote this report, which concludes that the “unprecedented levels of violence in Mexico” will continue for years to come.
The crisis has also flowed north because cartels—including Sinaloa, Los Zetas and Juarez—have joined forces with U.S. street gangs that operate in more than 1,000 cities throughout the country, according to the report. Together they run profitable enterprises that sell cocaine, heroin, marijuana and methamphetamines brought into the U.S. through the southern border. This sort of “collaboration between U.S. gangs and Mexican-based” criminal organizations will continue to increase, facilitating wholesale drug trafficking into and within the United States, the report says.
This is hardly shocking news. The National Drug Intelligence Center has for years determined that Mexican drug trafficking organizations represent the greatest crime threat to the United States. In fact, the agency’s 2009 report says that the violence, intimidation, theft and financial crimes carried out by the illicit operations “pose a significant threat” to the nation as a whole.

Irony. Margaret Sanger..addressed the KKK but ..Catholics who defend marriage are like racists
In another entry I posted about Archbp. Dolan’s letter to Pres. Obama warning him and his administration to back off from their project to equate those who defend true marriage with racists, as if the proponents of same-sex unions held the moral equivalent of black people seeking equality in the early 1960′s.
Even as I posted that, I found an email urging me to post about the time the founder of Planned Parenthood – supported enthusiastically by the Obama Administration – addressed the Klu Klux Klan. Yes, Margaret Sanger was an ally of the KKK.
I can’t help but wonder at how tone deaf the White House is about racism. I suppose they depend on general ignorance of the origins of Planned Parenthood and its virulent agenda.
The email I received just had some quotes about Margaret Sanger and the KKK but no references. You can find some more information about this HERE. I am sure readers have more on this. Sanger gives her own account of the event with the KKK in her own words in The Autobiography of Margaret Sanger (Reprint – Dover Publications, 2004, pp. 366-367).
Here is what I received in the email:

Don’t wear short skirts — you could get raped.
That’s essentially the advice the New York Police Department is giving young women in one Brooklyn neighborhood following a slew of unsolved sexual attacks in the past few months.
The warnings are being met with outrage, with residents saying police should be focusing on catching the suspects, not criticizing women for what they choose to wear.

The navigation company OnStar is attracting strong criticism after announcing this past week that it would continue to monitor drivers’ speeds and GPS locations — and sell the information to third parties such as law enforcement — even after customers end their contracts. Outrage ensued and even U.S. lawmakers have now entered the fray.
OnStar is a subsidiary of General Motors, which is still partly owned by the U.S. and Canadian governments after receiving billions in bailouts
Almost immediately after OnStar announced the changes to its privacy policy set to take effect in December, privacy activists and civil-liberties groups expressed concern. Forbes, long dubbed “the Capitalist Tool,” has re-posted a blog entry that first appeared at Mobiledia noting the Federal Reserve’s plan to surveil those of us who inveigh against the bankster cartel’s monetary warfare against humanity.

Forbes is not merely reposting an interesting tidbit of news. It is broadcasting to a larger audience the seemingly impossible plan to “monitor billions of conversations on social media, generate text analytics, and also determine the sentiment of a speaker or writer with respect to some topic or document,” in other words, engage in intelligence work in addition to whipsawing the monetary pile.
The Fed’s Orwellian sounding “Communications Group” is “tasked with proactively keeping the agency aware of the reactions and opinions of the public, as expressed in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, and aggregate data from media outlets like the Wall Street Journal and CNN.”
The “agency” plans to monitor “reactions and opinions of the public” in real-time so it can get the jump on a growing movement dedicated to dismantling the cartel and returning the nation to honest money. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where the Treasury recruits its directors, has published its “Sentiment Analysis And Social Media Monitoring Solution Request for Proposal” on Scribd.

The Federal Reserve’s “Sentiment Analysis And Social Media Monitoring Solution Request for Proposal”was posted on Scribd. The solution to “continuously monitor conversations”must be able to “gather data from the primary social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Forums and YouTube.” It must also “provide real-time monitoring of relevant conversations” and “aggregate data from various media outlets such as: CNN, WSJ, Factiva etc.” It should “provide sentiment analysis (positive, negative or neutral) around key conversational topics” as well as “handle crisis situations.” And after the sentiment is determined, “the solution should provide an alerting mechanism that automatically sends out reports or notifications based a predefined trigger.” It is also supposed to “identify and reach out to key bloggers and influencers” while monitoring billions of conversations.
As we noted several days ago, the Fed plan is not about keeping abreast of what bloggers and commenters at CNN have to say about its activity. Rather it is about intimidating the opposition with the sort of tactics the secret police in East Germany used against enemies of the state.

Forbes has brought the report posted by Mobiledia to a larger audience. In order for a secret police to effectively perform their job, target groups must be imbued with the appropriate degree of fear and suspicion. Forbes has done its part to get out the message – opponents of the privately owned bankster “agency” are now on the radar screen continuously and in real-time.

Facebook’s new Timeline set to ‘lock in’ users
WASHINGTON: Facebook begins rolling out its biggest ever shake-up, in a move observers say will not only profoundly alter how its 800 million users interact with the site, but will keep them coming back for decades to come.
The new “Timeline,” revealed last week by chief executive Mark Zuckerberg will also likely shock some users, notorious for backlashes in recent years over even small adjustments to the site, let alone a complete re-think of how their lives are presented to the world.
The changes amount to the “heart of your Facebook experience, completely rethought from the ground up,” Zuckerberg told an annual developers conference.
Rick Marini, CEO of the Facebook-focused “career network” BranchOut, which itself boasts millions of users, marveled this week in a conference call with marketers and reporters how the site had managed to build an enduring model.

On March 30th, 1961, Ronald Reagan stood before the Chamber of Commerce in Phoenix, Arizona, and gave what has come to be known as his “Encroaching Control” speech. Here is how he closed his speech:
Our Founding Fathers, here in this country, brought about the only true revolution that has ever taken place in man’s history. Every other revolution simply exchanged one set of rulers for another set of rulers. But only here did that little band of men so advanced beyond their time that the world has never seen their like since, evolve the idea that you and I have within ourselves the God-given right and the ability to determine our own destiny. But freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. The only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it and then hand it to them with the well thought lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same. And if you and I don’t do this, then you and I may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America when men were free.

This is similar to other speeches he gave, such as his Operation Coffee Cup speech. But I find this one to be the most pointed, and even his most important because of this ending. Freedom isn’t the natural state of things. We all must do our part to make sure that freedom is protected. I knew for quite some time that these words were attributed to Reagan. I was very happy to see that an audio recording of it exists.
This speech is available on You Tube, but the audio track seems damaged to me. You can download the speech here, which I encourage everybody to do. It’s sad that this speech has been somewhat lost in the sands of time.

You haven’t? It’s understandable because the mainstream media does not like to print any incidence of negativity or undesirable behavior on the part of any Obama Administration or government personnel and has been noticeably silent on the reporting of these scandals.
As part of the cover-up, those media organizations including the major daily newspapers such as the Boston Globe, New York Times, Washington Post and other major cities leading newspapers along with the major TV networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC have reported so little information and so very infrequently so as to be almost non-existent, or a scandal in itself on lack of reporting these government scandals……….

The New Jersey police officer responsible for capturing five Israelis who filmed and celebrated while the World Trade Center towers burned has broken his silence, agreeing to a Sept. 16 exclusive interview with AMERICAN FREE PRESS.
As AFP readers are no doubt aware, these are the same Israelis who were working under the direction of Urban Moving Systems, a Mossad front company at the center of Israeli involvement in the Sept. 11 attacks.
Sgt. Scott DeCarlo has never spoken to the media about the details of that day except for two 30-second cameo appearances in Internet videos from undetermined sources. In fact, DeCarlo confirmed that this is the first, and last, interview he will ever grant in regard to this subject.

Gunny G’s Marines History and Traditions: That Bronze Marine Statue w/MC Emblem On Helmet
“Once the war was over, General Pershing commissioned a French sculptor to create a bronze statue to commemorate the U.S. Army Doughboy’s service in WWI. General Pershing told his staff to furnish a model to pose for the French sculptor for his commemorative statue. Apparently not too much guidance was given, and the individual assigned to pose for the statue was a Marine Private. The Frenchman, having no intramural rivalries in his psyche, modeled the Marine Private in his entirety – complete with the Marine Corps Emblem on his helmet!
When General Pershing saw the finished statue, he refused to accept the finished project since it had a USMC emblem on the helmet! Pershing was, in a word, outraged! Help was in the wings however, as General Smedley Butler (two Medals of Honor) saw the statue and fell in love. He took up a collection from all the Marines in the AEF and bought the statue from the Frenchman. They shipped the Statue back to the United States and placed it in front of the old Headquarters of the Marine Base at Quantico.
The statue stands there today as a reminder to the Corps of its heritage and remains on guard over the old Headquarters Building of long ago. I often have stood in front of it and harked back to an earlier time. Although uncovered, I………………….

The control freaks that run our society are stripping away our liberties and freedoms a little bit more each day, and lately they seem to be particularly focused on coming after those that are not “integrating” into the system. Just like the rest of the western world, America is being transformed into a “Big Brother” police state control grid. Nearly everything that you do is being watched and monitored. A whole host of organizations know that you are on this website right now.
If you want to go to an NFL game next weekend, there is a good chance that you will be on the receiving end of an “enhanced pat-down” and if you are producing raw milk on your farm there is a good chance that the feds will show up for a pre-dawn raid on your property. In many areas of the country, the government forces us to shoot our kids full of vaccines and implant dangerous microchips in our pets. Virtually wherever we go there is a camera that is watching us or there are other Americans that are evaluating whether or not we are engaged in “suspicious activity” that needs to be reported to the government. Once upon a time, America was all about liberty and freedom, but today our nation is undergoing a radical cultural shift.
America is being “locked down”, and those who love liberty and freedom should watch their backs…………….
