YANKEE GENOCIDE STILL HERE ~ By: Alan Stang « ~ BLOGGER.GUNNY.G.1984+ ~ (BLOG & EMAIL)

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

…It is important to correct the record. The crimes and the criminals need to be named. More, they must be explained, because the motives that inspired them continue to motivate the men who run our country, regardless of political party. As we shall see, little has changed. Only if we drag this continuing horror into the light do we have a chance of exorcising it.

Let’s begin with a revealing contrast. In 1863, Confederate General Robert E. Lee invaded the North. The South by then had suffered two years of Yankee crimes and some Southerners thought the invasion was their chance to retaliate. Not so, said Lee. In a proclamation he reminded his men that “the duties exacted of us by civilization and Christianity are not less obligatory in the country of the enemy than in our own.”

“The commanding general considers that no greater disgrace could befall the army, and through it our whole people, than the perpetration of the barbarous outrages upon the unarmed and defenseless and the wanton destruction of private property, that have marked the course of the enemy in our own country. . . .”

Remember that at the beginning of the war Lincoln offered Lee command of the Union army. Imagine the humane result had he been able to accept. We make war “only upon armed men,” said Lee. Taking vengeance for the “atrocities of our enemies” would lower ourselves and offend “against Him to whom vengeance belongeth.” What atrocities is he talking about? Our source is divided into the states of the Confederacy. Let’s begin with Missouri.

Union Brigadier General James H. Lane: “We believe in a war of extermination. I want to see every foot of ground . . . burned over – everything laid waste. . . .” Whoa! A war of extermination?

We Are Losing Because….by Alan Stang « ~ BLOGGER.GUNNY.G.1984+ ~ (BLOG & EMAIL)

…One of many ways to understand this would be to compare the behavior of the two sides in Lincoln’s Communist War to Destroy the Union. The Yankees came out to First Manassas as if to a picnic. It was to be an afternoon’s diversion. The ladies came along in summer finery, bearing snacks. The Yankees would quickly whip the upstart rebels and go home.

But it was there, at Manassas, that Stonewall Jackson stood like a stone wall and became one of the Immortals. The Americans sent the Yankees fleeing in disorder back to Washington. Had this really been a “civil” war, in which both sides were contending to control the national government – had Jackson and the others understood what they were really fighting – the Americans would have pursued the fleeing Yankee rabble all the way back to Washington, overthrown the perverted government, arrested Lincoln and the other imperialists, given them fair trials before hanging and restored the Union.

Ghost of the Dambusters dog

He was the loyal companion of the Dambusters hero whose extraordinary bravery captured the nation.

Now ghost hunters believe the spectre of Nigger the dog, the Dambusters mascot, is still faithfully guarding his master’s old quarters.

Ghost enthusiasts are convinced that the ghosts of both Wing Commander Guy Gibson and his chocolate–coloured Labrador still haunt the remote Lincolnshire airfield from which the audacious raid was launched.

Paul McGuire — Ex-Radical: “Demonstrations Could Stop Presidential Election” Part 1

November 1, 2011 2 comments

First, I began to notice that the rhetoric and lyrics in the songs became more explicit as they called for some kind of Marxist revolution. The T-shirts no longer just said, “Peace and love” and they no longer had a peace symbol on them. The posters, banners and T-shirts now had pictures of the upright fist of violent revolution and words like “power to the people.” Then the word love was cleverly changed to “Armed Love” and a clenched fist holding up an AK-47 type of assault rifle.

Police were now called “pigs” and mind- controlled counter culture activists were using words like violent revolution, “kill the pigs” and “kill your parents.” It dawned on me that some kind of psychological operations were being conducted to change the peace, love and rock’n’roll counter culture into some kind of violent Marxist Revolutionary force.

Can Gingrich Break Through?

November 1, 2011 1 comment

The College Board and News Corp. sponsored a forum on education with four GOP presidential candidates last week, and the runaway winner was Newt Gingrich. Each candidate received 30 minutes, which was refreshing after the 30-second trivial pursuits of the debates.)

Barry Goldwater – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Goldwater and the revival of American conservatism

Although Goldwater was not as important in the American conservative movement as Ronald Reagan after 1965, he shaped and redefined the movement from the late 1950s to 1964.

Arizona Senator John McCain summed up Goldwater’s legacy thus:

“He transformed the Republican Party from an Eastern elitist organization to the breeding ground for the election of Ronald Reagan.”[41]

The columnist George Will remarked after the 1980 Presidential election that it took 16 years to count the votes from 1964 and Goldwater won.[42]

The Republican Party recovered from the 1964 election debacle, picking up 47 seats in the House of Representatives in the mid-term election of 1966.

Further Republican successes ensued, including Goldwater’s return to the Senate in 1968. In January of that year, Goldwater wrote an article in the National Review “affirming that he [was] not against liberals, that liberals are needed as a counterweight to conservatism, and that he had in mind a fine liberal like Max Lerner.”[43]

Throughout the 1970s, as the conservative wing under Reagan gained control of the party, Goldwater concentrated on his Senate duties, especially in military affairs.

Media Ignoring Veterans Call For Impeachment

(Editor’s Note: They may be battle worn and virtually media-ignored; some of them may need canes and walkers from the crippling wounds they suffered in serving their country to get there. Others on the march to the Washington Monument on 11.11.11carry wounds and worries of the heart.

They count on word of mouth in “openly calling for the American people to draw a final line in the sand and take a moral and righteous stand for the Constitutional Republic.”

Their faith that America won’t be fundamentally transformed into a Socialist State is unflagging and they count on YOU to be there. From the frontlines comes this report from leader of The United States Patriot Union JB Williams:)

A handful of perpetual malcontents with their hand out make headline news in every newsroom in America for weeks on end. The 3% who want a free ride on taxpayers back can get coverage anytime they want from the Goebbels-like American media.

But where is the press coverage on a Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic issued by thousands of Military Veterans and millions of patriotic taxpayers across the country? I hear crickets…

Next, they’ll require all government healthcare recipients to be chipped in order to prevent rampant fraud. An off-shoot may be to implement nationwide chipping programs for those receiving any government benefits including social security, Medicaid, Medicare, and Supplemental Nutritional Assistance.

There he goes again. President Obama, on the campaign stump, rails against the “rich,” saying our “wealth gap” shows a need for a “fairer approach.”

Does he really believe our economic problems have been caused by insufficient taxes on the rich? Insufficient taxes overall? If not, then what can we conclude about his insistence on hammering this point rather than addressing the real causes and real solutions?

MSNBC Host: Why Should People Have Guns When We Have Cops

November 1, 2011 1 comment

As I always say, you can be a victim, or not, the choice is yours.

Yesterday, Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright of South Carolina told women during a news conference to obtain their concealed weapons permit in order to better protect themselves from rapists and criminals in the area.

The sheriff of Spartanburg County, S.C., turned a news conference about an attempted rape in his community into an extended rant Monday in which he slammed a criminal justice system preferred by “liberals” for failing to keep the repeat-offender suspect behind bars — and implored the women in his community to pack heat for self-protection.

“I want you to get a concealed weapons permit,” Sheriff Chuck Wright said at the Monday news conference, as reported by TV station WYFF. “Don’t get Mace. Get a firearm.”

Rand Paul Blasts Politico Story: ‘I Don’t Think You Should Print Stuff Like That’

November 1, 2011 1 comment

Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.) says the sexual harassment accusations made against Herman Cain are unfair because of their anonymity. And he speaks from experience.

“In my election, I had an anonymous girl from college — who I still don’t know — make accusations against me,” he tells National Review Online. “I don’t think you should print stuff like that. To libel someone’s character and not put your name on it, I think is inappropriate and shouldn’t be printed.”

Paul adds that fear of sexual harassment suits damages workplace relations.

“There are people now who hesitate to tell a joke to a woman in the workplace, any kind of joke, because it could be interpreted incorrectly,” he says. “I don’t. I’m very cautious.”

Another ‘Borking?’

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

It has the feel of an ambush — this sexual harassment story involving Herman Cain. Some conservatives are responding in familiar ways. “They are terrified of strong, conservative black men,” one commentator explained. “It’s another high-tech lynching.”

The emotional response is understandable. Ever since the orchestrated, scurrilous character assassination aimed at Judge Robert Bork, conservatives have been perpetually on edge, waiting for the next slander of public figures who represent a threat to liberal power. In a remarkable (and frankly, brave) acknowledgement of this history, liberal New York Times columnist Joe Nocera wrote recently that Judge Bork was a “legal intellectual” and that “whatever you think of (his) views, they cannot be fairly characterized as extreme . . . The Bork fight, in some ways, was the beginning of the end of civil discourse in politics.”

Ron Paul is Making Sense. Again.

10-31-2011 • Goldie Taylor .com via rense.com

Like a lot of people, I used to think of Ron Paul like that “crazy uncle” at the family cookout. You know, the one filled with conspiracy theories.

Maybe it’s the fractured republican primary. Maybe it’s the paucity of candidates who bring anything substantive to the issues. But a lot of people are beginning to see Paul in a new way.

Talking points used to bore me. Now they make me angry. It’s takes a lot of gall to take to a debate lecturn and not know what the hell you’re talking about. Either you thought too much of yourself to study the issues or too little of us to care. Either one is dangerous.

That’s not the case with Ron Paul.

The Police State and Victoria’s Secret

By Mencken’s Ghost

Oct. 31, 2011

My hometown of Scottsdale, Ariz. recently bought an armored SWAT vehicle that looks like something out of Hitler’s Wehrmacht. Its cost of nearly $400,000 was picked up by our munificent federal government. It will come in handy if there are ever riots at the Victoria’s Secret store in Scottsdale’s upscale Fashion Square Mall.

Not being of sound mind due to being driven crazy by the irrationality of government and citizens, the purchase compelled me to examine the federal budget for the two line items of Police and Corrections. Below are figures showing the growth in civilian employees and payroll for the two items from 1999 to 2009.

Alert: New Mac malware (Trojan) hiding in pirated graphics software

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

Steals GPU time, tries to capture passwords, more

Anti-malware makers Sophos and Intego have warned of a new Mac OS X Trojan Horse that hides inside pirated software, specifically GraphicConverter v7.4. The malware, known as OSX/Miner-D or “DevilRobber,” steals GPU time to generate counterfeit Bitcoins (part of anonymous digital cash system) and also attempts to steal usernames and passwords through periodic screen captures. It also sends information about the Mac’s security setup and browsing history to a remote server.

In addition, if the user is already a Bitcoin user, the malware will also try to steal the credit out of the Bitcoin “wallet.” The Bitcoin digital currency has found some favor in the open-source world another communities, but has been plagued with security breaches. The malware has been added to versions of GraphicConverter that have been uploaded to illegal file-sharing networks, so at present the malware is extremely easy to avoid — but it could spread to other pirated files. Because of this, all pirated software should be regarded as potentially infected and avoided.

Newt Gingrich: GOP’s consummate survivor is back on his feet

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

In an election season that already has taken more than its share of unlikely turns, few moments have seemed more improbable than the crowd scene Friday afternoon at a Chick-fil-A along a busy suburban thoroughfare here. At least 400 people jammed the restaurant, leaving those in the back straining to get even a glimpse of a man whose presidential candidacy had been left for dead not five months ago.

Against the glassed-in playground stood Newt Gingrich, microphone in hand, promising: “If you’re with me, I think we will win the most decisive election in modern times, and I think we will win it by a shockingly big margin.”….

Gunny G: “SULLY,” RAY JACOBS, and “MAC” McCULLOUGH….

Those of you on my e-mail list and who read my blogs will recognize the name of Ken “Mac” McCullough and his recent pic holding his old WW II Gung Ho knife from his Carlson Raider days.

Back about 1998/97, when I first got online, I pursued topics of Marine Corps history such as Carlson’s Raiders, the Flags of Suribachi, etc. At that time there was little such in-depth information online; so I did it the old fashioned-way–I did it myself.

Since then the Marine Raiders organization and Dan Marsh came along and put up much more sophisticated sites on the raiders. And, then, a couple years or so later I got an e-mail from Marine Ray Jacobs who had been the radioman in the Lou Lowery photos of that first flag raising on Suribachi. And, during those years, Dr. R.E. Sullivan, Col USMC Ret, also contacted me regarding both of us having served at Camp Fuji, Japan back in the ’50s. “Sully” is a prolific writer of all things Old Corps, and we have shared many online discussions together these last many years. He is a WW II, China, Korea, and Vietnam Marine.

I have been very fortunate in my years online having interacted with such Marines as Mac, Ray, and “Sully,” all of whom greatly added to my knowledge of USMC historical topics. And there have been many others who I have neglected to mention here, but whose names and stories appear here and there throughout my webpages.

Did Obama Have Gay Sex with Donald Young…then Murder Him? [Politico Please Help!]

Larry Sinclair claims that Obama not only had an extensive history of cocaine usage and sales, but that Obama had homosexual sex with Larry and a man named Donald Young. [snip] Here is some text from Larry’s press conference:

[snip] This first call shocked me in that this “Mr. Young” asked me why I had not asked Senator Obama to disclose the sexual encounters I had with Mr. Obama in 1999.

[snip] In late October 2007, I received a text message from the gentleman identified as “Mr. Young” in which he stated he was intimately involved with Senator Obama and that Obama was discussing with him and his pastor how to publicly acknowledge Senator Obama’s drug use in 1999 and that Obama wanted to be sure I had not discussed the sexual encounters or drug incidents with any media at that time.

I later learned that a Donald Young was the choir director of Reverend Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ – Obama’s now-former church — and was openly a homosexual.

Lawyer: Cain May Have Violated Confidentiality of Harassment Settlement

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

The lawyer for a woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain in the late 1990s says that Cain may have violated the confidentiality terms of the agreement by commenting on its specifics over the past 24 hours.

“Herman Cain and others have already disclosed that there was a confidential settlement,” says Joel P. Bennett, a Washington-based attorney specializing in employment law, who also represented the woman when she negotiated her settlement.

(snip)

“I don’t know if she’ll ever go public,” he said Tuesday.

(snip)

Without having the agreement in hand, Bennett says he doesn’t know what it specifically says about Cain’s obligations under the non-disparagement and confidentiality clauses.

“I haven’t seen the agreement” in a dozen years, he said. “I haven’t seen whether it goes both ways.”

But even if it doesn’t, Bennett says, “If an employer makes a confidential agreement, and then discloses it, there’s a reasonable assumption that the employer has waived the confidentiality part of the agreement.”

Bennett said his client, a graduate of an Ivy League university, worked in professional positions in government for many years before her tenure at the restaurant lobbying group, and does so currently.

Help Us Spread the Word – On November 9, “This is Just a Test”

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

Over the past few months, we have written on this blog about the upcoming nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, which is now less than two weeks away. The test will take place on Wednesday, November 9th at 2:00 pm eastern standard time, and will be the first time this system, which is often tested and used by officials at the local level, will be tested across the entire country.

The national Emergency Alert System is an alert and warning system can be activated by the President, if needed, to provide information to the American public during emergencies. NOAA’s National Weather Service, governors, and state and local emergency authorities also use parts of the system to issue more localized emergency alerts. The test is an important exercise in ensuring that the system is effective in communicating critical information to the public in the event of a real national emergency. It is a critical communications tool that can provide alerts, warning and information rapidly across multiple television and radio platforms.

Our top priority is to make sure that all members of the public know that this test is coming up – and that it is just a test. For most of us, this test will look and sound very similar to the local tests of the Emergency Alert System that we often see on TV or hear on the radio.

U.S. car and truck sales were expected to top 1 million in October, a surprising number for a month when sales are usually slow. When adjusted for seasonal factors, that would be the best pace since the Cash for Clunkers program in August 2009.

Pent-up demand drove October sales. Japanese inventories are finally reaching normal levels after the March earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Many buyers who spent the summer waiting for Japanese cars could finally….

The “Occupy Wall Street” protests against the nation’s financial sector began on September 17, 2011, Constitution Day. Are they financed by George Soros and other leftists?

(Nov. 1, 2011) — Leftists have a distinct advantage over we who believe in the God-given rights (as identified in the US Constitution) of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Leftists are not constrained by the “outdated notions” of morality, any consideration that those who oppose them have any rights and–most specifically–those on the Left are not subject to nor expected to exhibit either logic or its attendant reasoned and common sense behaviors. In fact, the US–if not the world–media applaud and support all forms of leftist riots, murders, uprisings, seizure of more moderate governments and other chaos and mayhem reaped upon the “we-just-want-to-work-and-support-our-families” majority population. CIA Drone Assassinations Violate the Law of War

Into the breach has stepped Howard University law professor Morris Davis, who in a recent column presented a well-researched case that the CIA’s drone assassination program is illegal under the law of war and that, as a result, CIA personnel participating in drone strikes could be prosecuted for murder.

Davis knows his subject well. He was a U.S. Air Force judge advocate for 25 years and served as chief prosecutor of the Guantanamo Bay military commissions from 2005 to 2007, resigning from that post in disgust at the use of torture to extract evidence from prisoners and the interference in the proceedings from the Pentagon. He is now executive director and counsel of the Crimes of War Education Project. In other words, Davis’ opinion on the matter of war crimes should not be taken lightly.

Globalists Using London Cyberspace Summit to Push for Global Internet Treaty

November 1, 2011 2 comments

For the next two days, leaders from around the globe will collude with tech giants to discuss how to respond to the challenges and opportunities of the Internet. Translation: they’ll be negotiating a global Internet treaty.

It’s reported that officials from 60 countries will join Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Tudou.com (Chinese video sharing site), as well as cyber crime agencies, and computer security firms at the London Conference on Cyberspace.

The London summit is hosted by Foreign Secretary, William Hague, who said the purpose is to “discuss ideas and expected behaviour in cyberspace”.

To which he claims the goal is bring together major players to determine how “collectively, we should respond to the challenges and opportunities which the development of cyberspace presents.”

A few days before the conference, Council on Foreign Relations members Adam Segal and Matthew Waxman wrote that the conference presents those calling for a global Internet treaty with “a step in that direction.”

They also pointed out that NATO allies have already essentially agreed to a treaty; “June 2011, NATO defense ministers agreed to a collective vision of cyber defense, and the United States and Australia recently announced that their mutual defense treaty extends to cyberspace.”

As delivered by President John F Kennedy during his January 1961 inauguration address, the immortal phrase ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country’ inspired millions of Americans.

But a new book claims the words of wisdom were not down to Kennedy, or one of his speechwriters, but were instead cribbed from the headmaster of a school the president once attended.

Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero, by U.S. talk show host and author Chris Matthews, claims that Kennedy first heard the language in chapel at Choate School in Connecticut, where he studied during the 1930s. Matthews dug up two documents that back up his hypothesis.

One was headmaster George St John’s typed chapel speech notes in which he quoted a Harvard College dean: ‘As has often been said, the youth who loves his Alma Mater will always ask, not “What can she do for me?” but “What can I do for her?”‘

A questionnaire completed by Kennedy’s school-time contemporaries when he was president further confirms Matthews’ claim.

The Coming Church-State Wars by Patrick J. Buchanan

Appearing the other night on the Catholic network EWTN, I was asked by Raymond Arroyo what should be done about Muslim students at Catholic University demanding that the school provide them with prayer rooms, from which crucifixes and all other Catholic symbols that they found offensive had been removed.

After a nanosecond I replied, “Kick ‘em out!”

Let them go to George Washington, the university on the other side of town.

Indeed, had Muslim students shown so little loyalty to a school that welcomed them, and of whose Catholicism they were aware when they entered, expulsion would have been justified.

Looking further into the matter, that was a rush to judgment.

For it seems that not a single Muslim student at CUA had gone to the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights to file a complaint.

That complaint was the work of John Banzhaf, a professor at GW, perennial litigant, and longtime contender for the title of National Pest.

In provocative language, Banzhaf told Fox News, “It shouldn’t be too difficult to set aside a small room where Muslims can pray without having to stare up and be looked down upon by a cross of Jesus.

Support Our Troops? by Laurence M. Vance

In the last ten years, with only a minuscule number of resistors, U.S. soldiers have put boots on the ground – and bombed, droned, maimed, and killed countless thousands of people – in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, and Libya. Over 1 million soldiers have “served” in Iraq. Although President Obama has announced that U.S. troops will leave Iraq by the end of the year, he has also said that some will be sent to Uganda in search of monsters to destroy. And then there are the other 140 countries being occupied by U.S. troops.

I have seen signs expressing support for the troops in front of all manner of businesses, including self-storage units, bike shops, and dog grooming. I have heard accounts of restaurants like Taco Bell and retail stores like Sears asking for donations for the military as a show of support for the troops.

It doesn’t seem to matter to most Americans how many wars the troops are involved in, how senseless the war the troops are fighting, how many lies the war is based on that the troops are fighting, how many countries the United States has troops in, how many foreign bases the United States has troops on, how many billions the United States spends on the troops, how many foreign civilians are injured, maimed, or killed by U.S. troops, or even how many U.S. troops die in vain. It doesn’t seem to matter what U.S. troops do, where they do it, and to whom to do it to.

The President Who Would Be King

A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet

Obama’s past is so vague and so little is known about the man before he won a seat in the Senate that it is extremely difficult to refer to times and places in his past. But I do seem to recall that he was said to have been a constitutional expert and even TAUGHT the US Constitution at some college or other. If so, it is more than a little interesting.

See. Here’s the thing: IF Obama taught the US Constitution then he knows that America opted for a bicameral constitutional, representative, government with a president as the chief executive. Nowhere in the US Constitution is a King of the United States proved for. NOWHERE.

Apparently someone else taught Obama’s class they day they covered presidents vs kings in America. Obviously, he was absent. Else he would have known that America has no king.

After hearing King Oba … uh … President Obama making proclamations on the campaign trail as to what he intends to do without the approval of the people’s legislature, methinks the King, er, the President is in dire need of psychiatric help. He gives every indication that he is delusional.

We are, of course, referring to Mr. Obama’s abuse of the Presidential Executive Order authority. Even now, Mr. Obama is preparing to issue a host of presidential executive orders. He is making no secret that he intends to rule by executive order and regulations issued by HIS czars and the heads of the various government agencies under his command.

Senior Obama official calls you “teabaggers”

November 1, 2011 Leave a comment

“Teabagger” is the pejorative of choice for left-wing bloggers and an occasional Democratic politician, when trying to vilify supporters of the Tea Party movement. It is a slang term which describes a sexual act.

And it is a term used by Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor, as reported by Sunshine State News (via Drudge):

With the team behind President Barack Obama targeting the Sunshine State in their bid for a second term in 2012, the White House sent U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to speak to the Florida Democratic Convention on Saturday….

Solis offered harsh words about conservatives. Looking at 2012, Solis slammed the tea party movement, calling them “teabaggers” and promising the Obama administration will take them on.

Everyone is predicting that 2012 is going to be the nastiest, dirtiest campain season ever. Everyone is right.

Federally-Funded Street Lights Capable of “Recording Conversations”

Orwellian ‘Intellistreets’ system now being installed in major cities

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

Federally-funded high-tech street lights now being installed in American cities are not only set to aid the DHS in making “security announcements” and acting as talking surveillance cameras, they are also capable of “recording conversations,” bringing the potential privacy threat posed by ‘Intellistreets’ to a whole new level.

In the days after we first brought attention to the privacy concerns surrounding the new street lights, with our story featuring prominently on the Drudge Report website, the company behind them, Illuminating Concepts, went on the defensive, issuing a press release claiming the devices didn’t represent a “big brother” intrusion.

However, as you can see from the video above, ‘Intellistreets’ is big brother on steroids. George Orwell himself would probably have considered the concept too far-fetched to appear in the dystopian classic 1984.

Not only can the street lights, now being rolled out in Detroit, Chicago and Pittsburgh with Department of Energy backing, act as surveillance cameras, Minority Report-style advertising hubs, and Homeland Security alert systems, they are “also capable of recording conversations,” reports ABC 7.

In their press release, the company behind the street lights also denied that they had received DHS funding for the system. In the aftermath of the controversy generated last week, ABC 7 reports that owner Ron Harwood is now “working with Homeland Security” to implement the high tech network, which is connected via a ubiquitous wi-fi system.

Harwood told the Detroit Free Press that the street lights will “make us feel not only safer, but happier,” representing how “business and government can work together for economic, environmental and social benefits.”

Harwood’s claim that the technology doesn’t represent a privacy threat simply because its rollout it “transparent” carries no weight whatsoever. Just because the installation of these street lights is being done publicly and not in secret has no bearing whatsoever on the frightening implications for privacy this development poses.

…Dear Congressman Schock,

I am contacting your office for no less than the third time by letter. I have delivered to your office in February of 2010 and May of 2011 two other letters focusing on the unconstitutional individual who has usurped our office of Presidency, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama (or whatever his real name is).

I as well have called your office a multitude of times with names of those individuals that I have spoken with and the dates since May 31, 2011. I have respectfully and politely asked to be scheduled to be able to speak with you regarding this very issue. I have been told Nate Hurn would call me back. I have been told to go online to make my request.

I have been told that I need to be patient. I have now been told to write you yet another letter and share with you some of the information that pertains to my concern. I asked the question of the last individual I spoke with at your office named Megan, how she would feel if she called your office the dozens of times I have, send multiple letters, use your e-mail service and not a response? Megan told me she would get the impression “she wasn’t being listened to.” I appreciated her honesty and humility.

You aren’t listening Mr. Schock. Now it’s time for me to respectfully tell you to do your job! The only acceptable response is one that upholds the U.S. Constitution and the oath you took to support and defend it…

Less than two months ago, on the day after the 10th anniversary of September 11th, the Obama Administration suspended the most successful alien-interdiction program on the northern border.

Border Patrol agents based in Rochester and Buffalo, who had taken thousands of illegal aliens into custody, were ordered to stand down.
