Learning the Truth About Education

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

Conservatives didn’t realize the Left made a conscious effort to capture American education as a way of shaping America’s future. The Frankfurt School, a group of Marxists educators who escaped Hitler’s Germany and worshipped Stalin’s Russia came to America intent on transforming this great nation from the bastion of freedom into the pyre of Western Civilization. From their original lair at Columbia University they’ve inserted themselves throughout the colleges and universities of America spreading their cult of Political Correctness along the way.

Social Criticism And Free Speech in America: From Ezra Pound to Lenny Bruce to Alex Jones

November 4, 2011 1 comment

“They said that he was sick ’cause he didn’t play by the rules

He just showed the wise men of his day to be nothing more than fools

They stamped him and they labeled him like they do with pants and shirts”

- Bob Dylan, from his song, “Lenny Bruce.”

“You see, the trouble is that we all live in a happy ending culture, a what should be culture instead of a what is culture. We’re all taught that fantasy. But if we were taught this is what is I think we’d be less screwed up.” – Lenny Bruce, as voiced by Dustin Hoffman in the 1974 film, “Lenny.”

The heroes of free speech and truth-telling in society are always discredited and pushed to the fringe.

In America, the paragons of free speech and frankness are the poets, comedians, and independent journalists. The poet Ezra Pound, the comedian Lenny Bruce, and the journalist Alex Jones all come out of the American tradition of freedom of thought and freedom of speech.

A d v e r t i s e m e n t

Literature, comedy and talk radio are avenues through which ideas and issues are discussed openly and courageously. Alternative points of view that are shut off from the mainstream cultural environment can be heard one the frontiers of thought.

Lenny Bruce redefined comedy and inspired Carlin, Hicks, and many other game-changing comedians. Alex Jones has redefined media journalism. His work along with the work of Infowars.com will inspire new independent journalists to take down corrupt politicians and elites.

Bruce was raising taboo subjects with bravery and keen insight. The Establishment was scared of his take on comedy and society. So they used the media attack dogs to label him and put him into a corner. He was called “obscene,” “offensive,” and a “deranged communist.” Time Magazine called him a “sick comic.”

But the Establishment’s labels didn’t work on everyone, and eventually the medium of comedy was revolutionized because of Bruce. He helped changed the values and opinions of the American people in a radical way, towards a more free and honest direction.

Uncle Sam is getting a little weird. Make that a lot weird. Having dumped hundreds of billions of dollars into a sinkhole called Afghanistan — populated by misogynistic, pederastic, tribalistic and religiously supremacist primitives — to no avail, he has hit on a new plan for winning those ever-elusive Afghan “hearts and minds.”

Uncle Sam has decided that the answer lies in the latrine with the U.S. Marine Corps. No kidding. When nature calls, Uncle Sam has decided he wants every U.S. Marine equipped with a map and compass, or some other way of knowing direction. This is to ensure that no U.S. Marine in Afghanistan urinates in the direction of Mecca ever again.

Ventura, miffed by court, says he’s off to Mexico

November 4, 2011 1 comment

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (AP) — Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is so upset by the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit that he threatened Friday to apply for dual citizenship so he can spend more time in his beloved Mexico — or run for president of what he labeled “the Fascist States of America.”

Ventura, also a former wrestling star, sued the U.S. government in January, alleging that airport scans and pat-downs amounted to unreasonable search and seizure.

Peter Fuller removed from duty as a top Afghanistan commander for remarks to POLITICO

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

Major Gen. Peter Fuller, a top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, was relieved of his duties Friday after comments he made to POLITICO disparaging Afghan President Hamid Karzai and calling the government’s leaders “isolated from reality.”

Gen. John Allen, commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan, ousted Fuller following what the coalition called his “inappropriate public comments.”

“These unfortunate comments are neither indicative of our current solid relationship with the government of Afghanistan, its leadership, or our joint commitment to prevail here in Afghanistan,” Allen said in a statement.

“The Afghan people are an honorable people, and comments such as these will not keep us from accomplishing our most critical and shared mission — bringing about a stable, peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan,” he added.

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura said he would now refer to the country of his birth as the “Fascist States of America” after a judge dismissed his case challenging airport pat downs, adding that his only recourse now would be to run for President.

“Ventura made his comments outside the federal courthouse in St. Paul, where in January he sued to challenge the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) airport security procedures,” reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “The suit was thrown out because Congress set up the law so that all such challenges must be brought directly in Circuit Courts of Appeals, wrote U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson.”

“They said they don’t have jurisdiction,” Ventura told reporters. “Well my question is if the federal courts don’t have jurisdiction over a constitutional question then who the hell does?”

“As soon as I get some signal from Congress that they’re willing to take their responsibilities seriously, I think we can do more [for the economy], but that is going to require them to break out of the rigid ideological positions they’ve been taking,” he told the assembled media in Cannes, France.

US-NATO-Israel War Plans directed against Iran: Selected Articles

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

We bring to the attention of our readers a selection of recent news as well background feature articles on US-NATO-Israel war plans directed against Iran.

In recent developments, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sought cabinet support for a military strike against Iran

Meanwhile, the British government has also signified that were Washington “to fast-forward plans for targeted missile strikes” against the Islamic Republic, Her Majesty’s government would support the Obama administration’s resolve for a pre-emptive attack on Iran.

A War on Iran has been on the drawing board of The Pentagon since 2004.

Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons programme is the pretext and the justification. Tehran is also identified as a “State sponsor of terrorism“, for allegedly supporting the Al Qaeda network.

In recent development, what is unfolding is an integrated attack plan on Iran led by the US, with the participation of the United Kingdom and Israel.

Is the US a friend or enemy of Israel?

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

This question always elicits different opinions. Obviously, in part, the answers depend on one’s definition of “friend” or of “enemy.”

The most famous articulation of U.S. policy vis-à-vis Israel was made by Henry Kissinger in 1975 when talking to an Iraqi diplomat. To wit:

We don’t need Israel for influence in the Arab world. On the contrary, Israel does us more harm than good in the Arab world[.] … We can’t negotiate about the existence of Israel but we can reduce its size to historical proportions[.]

Before the ’67 War, U.S. policy was mostly hostile in that the U.S. imposed an embargo on arms to Israel for 20 years, from ’47 to ’67; was passive during the War of Independence, expecting Israel to be defeated in short order; and ordered Israel out of Sinai after Israel conquered it in the Sinai Campaign.

Occupy Everything Violence – Just The Fringe? I Think Not

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

It’s quite humorous to watch the media spin the recent violence from the Oakland occupiers:

“Oakland Police Clash with Fringe Protesters.”

Fringe? I think not.

Oh the media does it’s best to spin the story that it’s only a few protesters who are prone to violence:

When a man wearing a bandana broke a window with an empty beer bottle, another protester yelled, “Who are you? That isn’t what this is about!” Another man screamed, “The police are not your enemy!” at young people wearing gas masks and the Guy Fawkes guise that has come to represent anarchists and the hackers group Anonymous.

But in the same article they quote the mouthpiece of the Oakland Occupiers, Boots Riley:

“There are large disagreements inside the movement, but that’s actually what pushes us forward,” said Boots Riley, 40, a member of the rap group the Coup, who was on the bullhorn at the front of the marchers for much of Wednesday. “What we did during the day was much bigger, much more disruptive, than what the people breaking windows did last night,” he said.

Kentucky Soldier Faces Spying Allegations

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

U.S. Army and FBI investigators arrested Millay last Friday. Army Lieutenant Colonel Bill Coppernoll says Millay’s arrest stems from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Army and FBI. Coppernoll says few details are being released now, but adds that unlike the WikiLeaks case targeting Army analyst Bradley Manning, allegations do “not involve the transfer of data on computer networks.”

His family has hired a defense attorney from Dallas who specializes in defending members of the military charged in crimes.

Dick York, who lives across the street from Millay’s family, told The Gleaner in Henderson that the soldier was honest and patriotic and called the charges “a bunch of bull” .

11.22.63 by Stephen King – Review by Mark Lawson

People are commonly said to remember their location when told of President John F Kennedy‘s assassination, but many must also wish the place they had been on 22 November 1963 was Dallas, where they might somehow have diverted the motorcade or prevented Lee Harvey Oswald from entering the Texas School Book Depository.

Dealey Plaza in 2003.

The possibility of such an intervention must number, along with its darker twin of going back and killing Hitler, among the principal fantasies of time travel, and is explored in the 54th work of fiction by Stephen King.

In 11.22.63, Jake Epping, a schoolteacher in Maine (a childhood reference point as recurrent in King’s fiction as New Jersey in Philip Roth‘s), is summoned by the owner of Al’s Diner, a local eaterie that has become popular but also suspect as a result of being able to sell, in 2011, burgers at near-1950s prices.

The restaurateur, now mortally ill, has found a portal in his pantry that leads to a particular day in 1958, where the time-traveller can begin a stay lasting months or even potentially years, always returning two minutes later. Cancer has interrupted Al during a five-year mission to prevent the event that he believes to have misdirected American history: JFK’s death. With the moral arm-lock of a dying man, Al passes on the task to Jake.

Rothbard Against War by David Gordon

November 4, 2011 1 comment

Rothbard modified the famous dictum of Marx: he wished both to understand and change the world. He endeavored to apply the ideas he had developed in his theoretical work to current politics and to bring libertarian views to the attention of the general public. One issue for him stood foremost. Like Randolph Bourne, he maintained that “war is the health of the state”; he accordingly opposed an aggressive foreign policy.

His support for nonintervention in foreign policy led him to champion the Old Right. John T. Flynn, Garet Garrett, and other pre-World War II “isolationists” shared Rothbard’s belief in the close connection between state power and bellicose foreign policy.

The situation was quite otherwise with postwar American conservatism. Although Rothbard was an early contributor to William Buckley‘s National Review, he rejected the aggressive pursuit of the Cold War advocated by Buckley and such members of his editorial staff as James Burnham and Frank S. Meyer.

’60 Minutes’ takes on John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi

By: Keach Hagey and John Bresnahan November 3, 2011 11:35 PM EDT

House Speaker John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi pushed back hard Thursday against an upcoming “60 Minutes” report that is expected to raise questions about potential conflicts of interest between congressional leaders’ personal stock holdings and their involvement in legislation that may affect those investments.

In separate news conferences, the leaders were both asked by “60 Minutes” correspondent Steve Kroft whether they see such a conflict. But it was Pelosi’s exchange that attracted attention from conservative media.

“I have not made any decisions on day-to-day trading activities of my account and haven’t for years. I do not do it, haven’t done it and wouldn’t do it,” Boehner said, in response to Kroft’s question about his trading health care stocks during consideration of legislation dealing with the industry.

When Kroft asked whether House members should be able to trade stocks when Washington is considering legislation that could affect such stocks, Boehner replied, “I think there are plenty of rules of the House and certainly rules from the SEC that members should follow and I believe do follow.”

Shortly beforehand, Kroft had asked Pelosi a much more specific question during her news conference: Why had she and her husband participated in March 2008 in “a very large” initial public offering “from Visa at a time when there was major legislation affecting credit card companies making its way through the House?”

HR 1505: Giant Land Grab For The Police State

Chuck Baldwin

November 4, 2011

Montana Republican Congressman Denny Rehberg lent his support for ceding more power and authority to the federal government’s emerging police state by supporting HR 1505, the “National Security and Federal Lands Protection Act.” This monstrous bill empowers the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to confiscate to itself tens of thousands of acres of land across the US northern border. This is for “national security” reasons, of course. Gag!

My friend, Dr. Ed Berry, has written a very astute summary and analysis of HR 1505 on his web site, PolyMontana.com. I am going to be borrowing heavily from his research in this column.

Dr. Berry rightly notes that the DHS is the giant head of no less than seven federal agencies: Transportation Security Administration (TSA), US Customs & Border Protection (CBP), US Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS), US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), US Secret Service (SS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and US Coast Guard (USCG).

The American Dream

Friday, November 4, 2011

The Al-Qaeda flag has been flying high over Libya and the governments of the western world that helped remove Gaddafi from power don’t seem to mind at all. The flag, which contains the phrase “there is no God but Allah” with a full moon underneath, has been photographed flying beside the new national flag of Libya at the courthouse in Benghazi. The courthouse in Benghazi is where the “rebels” established their provisional government, and it is where the “media center” for communication with foreign journalists was located during the fight against Gaddafi.

So it isn’t as if the al-Qaeda flag has been flying over some insignificant building. But this should be no surprise. It has been known all along that al-Qaeda was very heavily represented in the army of “the rebels” and among the leadership of “the rebels”. Now, thanks to Obama, they have taken over Libya and they intend to impose a brutal form of Sharia law on the entire Libyan population.

Jesse Ventura To Give Statement About Judge Dismissing TSA Lawsuit Jesse Ventura

A judge ruled on Thursday that the former Minnesota governor’s concerns about modesty, personal freedom and constitutional rights were misplaced when he filed a federal lawsuit in St. Paul last January.

Challenges to the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) procedures must be brought in Circuit Courts of Appeals, wrote U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson in dismissing Ventura’s lawsuit.

After getting a titanium implant in his hip in 2008, Ventura’s lawsuit says, he started lighting up airport magnetometers. At first, screeners waved a magnetic hand wand over him and sent him on his way. But last year, the TSA initiated enhanced screening procedures, his complaint says, which meant he had to go through invasive full-body scans or pat-down searches.

Ventura’s attorney, David Bradley Olsen, declined to comment. “Governor Ventura will speak to the press on Friday, Nov. 4, at noon, in front of the Federal Court Building in St. Paul,” he said.

The failure of many police even to comprehend the seriousness of the ticket-fixing allegations perhaps is emblematic of a culture of corruption within the NYPD, and could explain a broad array of more serious misconduct allegations that has plagued the department in recent months: planting drugs on innocent people to meet arrest quotas, covering up crimes in some cases and making false arrests in other cases as favors to friends, and smuggling guns, shaking down drug dealers or robbing others for fun and profit.

Who Is Malcolm X? ~ IS HE THE FATHER OF “BARACK OBAMA?”

IS HE THE FATHER OF “BARACK OBAMA?”

by Sharon Rondeau

Is it possible that Malcolm X is Barack Obama’s biological father?
(Nov. 4, 2011) — On November 2, 2011, blogger Martha Trowbridge published an article which contended that Barack Hussein Obama II is a manufactured identity for the son of black supremacy activist Malcolm X.
Malcolm X was born in 1925 in Omaha, NE to a homemaker and Baptist minister who reportedly supported Marcus Garvey, a proponent of “black nationalism” and the “Back-to-Africa” movement.  Garvey has been described as having laid the framework for the Nation of Islam.
Like his father, Malcolm X became a minister, but in the Muslim rather than the Christian faith.  Having converted to Islam while serving a prison sentence, Malcolm X became prominent in the organization until 1964, when he left and founded his own group, Muslim Mosque, Inc., which developed ties to larger Islamic organizations and universities.

Malcolm X traveled widely in Africa and made a pilgrimage to Mecca in 1964, after which he changed his name to El-Hajj Malik al-Shabazz.  Malcolm X gave a speech in Cairo during his travels.  Barack Hussein Obama II gave a speech there in 2009…..

The Perry Paradox

Rick Perry says Texas is the most successful state in America. He’s right. Texan economic output exceeds Mexico’s and Australia’s and rivals India’s. Rick Perry has been governor of Texas for nearly 11 years. Does the logic of politics lead us to conclude that the governor of the nation’s most successful state, ipso facto, is the best man to be president of the economically gasping United States?

Soldiers “End Of The World” Email Sends US Into Panic | EUTimes.net

…The FSB notes in their report that the Kentucky region where Specialist Millay comes from is “heavily populated” by staunchly religious Christian conservatives who believe we are living in the “last days” and that President Obama is a “secret Muslim” whose goal is to destroy the United States so that a New World Order can be established ushering in the age of the “anti-Christ” foretold about in the Bible’s Book of Revelations.

What brings Specialist Millay’s email exchanges to his mother and family to the attention of the FSB, which according to this report detail nothing specific about US troop movements or potential actions, was the “heightened response” it elicited from the highest branches of the US government.

The FSB states in their report that Specialist Millay first came to the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after email and phone intercepts were turned over to them by the National Security Agency (NSA) detailing the exchanges between him and his mother.

Cops in Florida ready to fight each other over traffic stop (Highway Patrol vs. Miami cops)

A war is brewing in South Florida, but don’t look to the police to protect you. They’re the ones who are fighting. Members of the Miami-Dade Police Department aren’t taking kindly to having one of their own arrested at gunpoint by a State Trooper and now the threats and insults are flying.

It started last month when Miami Officer Fausto Lopez was pulled over in his squad car for driving 120 MPH en route to an off-duty job. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper Donna Jane Watts pulled him over, gun drawn, and put him in handcuffs.

Exposed! Obama’s Secret Life

November 4, 2011 1 comment

President OBAMA’s shadowy past could doom his future, The ENQUIRER has learned.

A blockbuster new book rips the lid off President Barack Obama’s darkest secrets – and could doom his bid to win a second term in the White House!

The explosive tell-all by take-no-prisoners blogger Mondo Frazier reveals the commander in chief is a “chain-smoking wreck” who could be hooked on prescription drugs, and claims he may have spied for the CIA in college.

“I’ve uncovered that President Obama has spent over $2 million in legal fees to keep the details of his past hidden,” Frazier told The ENQUIRER. “This new book will surely impact his re-election campaign.”

In “The Secret Life of Barack Hussein Obama,” published by Simon & Schuster’s Threshold Editions press, Frazier alleges President Obama could have been a “CIA double agent” when he was a student at Columbia University.

That may be the reason why Obama refuses to release his Columbia records, according to Frazier, who also discloses that former National Security Agency employee Wayne Madsen has discovered CIA files directly linked to this secret.

In another bombshell, Frazier claims a clandestine effort is already underway to prevent Obama’s re-election, with “a team of ex-CIA officers…traveling the globe assembling a dossier of documents on Obama’s past, including his education, passport, travel and residency records.”
