Assassination studies The real assassination target in Tucson?
Meet Judge John Roll
“Widely respected.” “A wise jurist.”
The US news media heaped on the praise, but was purposefully vague about who this extraordinary judge was and what he actually did.
The early and oft-repeated media claim “the judge was just in the wrong place at the wrong time” doesn’t ring true for several reasons, the most important being how the heck would they know and know so quickly?
Equally as suspicious, why did they feel the need to repeat this statement over and over again from the very beginning of the reports? Who inserted this into the news stream?
Judge Roll was an opponent of the Federal government overreaching its authority.
Specifically:
1. He ruled against federal imposition on states rights in gun law matters,
2. He ruled against elements of the Patriot Act (the part where federal “law enforcement agents” can seize your bank account without cause), and
3. He ruled against the newly announced FEMA Governor system in which the federal government plans to take the power of elected state Governors and put in in the hands of federally-appointed “regional” governors in the case of an “emergency.”
It’s a rare judge these days that stands up to this BS or shows any interest in the Constitution at all.

I voted for Goldwater, and I would have voted for Dr Paul last time but Fla would allow a write-in but would not count Paul—so I voted Chuck Baldwin.
I’m not an R, nor a D, but I’d vote Paul as an R, but preferably as a 3d…
I can understand Rs problem w/Romney, though.
Seems to me most Rs would then go with Perry, considering that most compromise on anything/everything…but I just don’t understand people…or maybe I do, just don;t accept them.

The revolution will not be televised, and society will be better off when it disappears altogether. It is time to stop coddling the screaming children and just say it: Ron Paul supporters are a scourge that could hurt the effort to stop President Obama’s relection.
They need to support their candidate, but if he fails, they need to jump right onto the GOP bandwagon.

Remember that debate between Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich, where Mr. Gingrich suggested we should expand and strengthen the Patriot Act in the name of protecting US citizens from terrorists? Mr. Gingrich indicated that there exists a line between criminal law and the war on terror, and that we need not worry the government will overstep its bounds.
While Americans enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend and join the annual running of the bulls celebration at malls and retail outlets, something sinister is taking place in Congress – and it should scare the hell out of you.

Prison Planet.com » Criminals and cyber bullies to be banned from the web
Criminals who commit offences online and cyber bullies will be banned from the internet as part of the Government’s new cyber security strategy, announced today.
It calls for police and courts to make more use of existing “cyber sanctions” to restrict access to the social networks and instant messaging services in cases of hacking, fraud and online bullying. Sex offenders and those convicted of harrassment or anti-social behaviour also face more internet restrictions under the new strategy.
Similar orders have been imposed on those charged with involvement in a series of cyber attacks by the Anonymous and LulzSec groups earlier this year, while they await trial.

Before She Became a Blonde Bombshell: Pictures From Marilyn Monroe’s First Professional Photoshoot Go Up for Auction by Jessica Satherley
Before Marilyn Monroe became famed for her platinum blonde locks, she set off to find stardom with her natural honey-hued hair.
And these are the photographs from Marilyn Monroe’s first professional shoot that show off her natural beauty that consequently led her to celebrity status.
The photographs, of the then 19-year-old, are now to be sold after the legendary snapper Joseph Jasgur passed away.
The pictures of the star, then called Norma Jeane, show the young hopeful in a side street, unrecognisable from the blonde bombshell she would become.
Ron Paul – Civil Liberty’s Last Hope
“I think the Patriot Act is unpatriotic because it undermines our liberty,” Paul said. “I’m concerned, as everybody is, about the terrorist attack . . . Terrorism is still on the books, internationally and nationally, it’s a crime and we should deal with it.” Paul added, however, that the framers of the Constitution warned the country not to “sacrifice liberty for security,” yet “Today it seems too easy that our government and our congresses are so willing to give up our liberties for our security.”
“I have a personal belief that you never have to give up liberty for security. You can still provide security without sacrificing our Bill of Rights,” added Paul, to which the candidate was met with a round of applause.

I recently received a response from an e-mail I had sent extolling the virtues of a political candidate. It read, “I do not want to hear anything about any of the candidates, Republican or Democrat. This is far too early for me, regardless of what you might think.”
“They all have jobs, and they are running around all over when our Nation is facing potential ruin. When the time comes, I will listen to whoever is left and determine for myself which one I wish to vote for – if I decide to vote.”
The response was from a person who keeps up with the news, is active in church, and earnestly prays for America. The message is the epitome of the millions of Christians who choose not to vote in primary and general elections.

The U.S. Navy is beginning a worldwide video campaign to let sailors know about the dangers of “Spice”. This drug is often described as synthetic marijuana. The problem for the navy is that Spice comes from many manufacturers, varies widely in its purity and potency, and has unpredictable effects. The navy is particularly concerned about its use by crews of ships at sea. Sailors who are off-duty often find themselves being called to handle an emergency. That can be a problem if you’ve just done a bit of Spice.

. . . in order to get a full picture of the man, as opposed to the one-dimensional cardboard cut-out portrayal you get from the media, is how he lives his personal life. One way to learn about that is by talking to the people who interact with him everyday — the people who know him best. One of those people is Marcus Luttrell.
Securing the American Dream (Marcus Luttrell’s Story)
For a fuller story of Marcus Luttrell’s longstanding friendship with Gov. Perry, take a look at this story over at RedState. Then forward the link along to friends and family — especially those who are still undecided or may be persuadable.
Speaking of Marcus Luttrell, Gov. Perry has been there for him whenever needed. After his therapy dog was murdered, Luttrell chased the perps down and held them at bay until police arrived to arrest them. Marcus ended up going to the Perry’s in need of support and comfort after his loss. The Perry’s offered Marcus an invitation to stay at their place as long as he needed to. Marcus has been an adopted family member ever since getting back from his traumatic ordeal in Afghanistan where he was the lone survivor of Seal Team 10.

Gingrich scheme a dangerous power grab against the federal bench « Coach is Right
Newt Gingrich has decided that the best way to battle the growing plague of left-wing judicial activism is to simply remove offending judges from the bench. He favors the passage of legislation which would allow Congress to eliminate federal judgeships thereby permitting the President to fill newly created voids with what in his view would be properly schooled jurists ready to make decisions based upon Constitutional content rather than agenda driven, personal preference.

A chef was stunned to find she was almost banned from buying two limes from a supermarket – because they could be classed as a weapon.
Marisa Zoccolan, 31, popped into the new Asda supermarket close to her home in Wallsend, North Tyneside, to pick up some groceries, including the citrus fruits.
But when she tried to pay for them at the self-service checkout, the message ‘amount exceeded, authorisation required’ flashed up.
An assistant then came over and told her that more than one lime was deemed a weapon – because the citric acid could be squirted in someone’s eye.
Dr. James Howenstine — Stay Away From Chemotherapy and Radiation
For many years it has been known to well informed individuals within the medical community that chemotherapy and radiation were quite toxic and essentially worthless in the management of malignancies. This information is carefully covered up by our controlled media so that these two methods of therapy are regarded by lay persons as the proven therapy for malignancies. Like lemmings going over a cliff the general public lines up for these therapies and nearly all treated persons proceed to die.

In reaction to what was increasingly perceived as narcissistic materialism and humanitarian complacency of adults by the post-war “Baby Boom” generation of teenagers and twenty-somethings, the narrow victory of moderate Democrat John F. Kennedy over Richard Nixon heralded the beginning of a new era of government power and influence. Now government offered the possibility of not only curbing abuses of big business, but also and especially ending war and protecting the equal rights of groups who allegedly had been discriminated against in the free market, especially women, Blacks and the poor.

A national Muslim group is calling out Rick Santorum for supporting religious profiling against Muslims, and appealed Wednesday to the Republican Party to rebuke Santorum for his views.
In a national security debate Tuesday, the former Pennsylvania senator and GOP presidential candidate said he would support profiling Muslims at airport checkpoints as a tactic to protect against terrorist attacks.
“Obviously Muslims would be someone you’d look at, absolutely,” Santorum said. “The radical Muslims are the people who are committing these crimes, by and large, as well as younger males — not exclusively, but these are things that you profile to find your best, most likely candidates.”

A LETTER TO A MEMBER OF THE NH HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
by Lawrence Sellin, ©2011
John Adams was a Founding Father and the second President of the U.S. He believed firmly in a “republican” form of government.
(Nov. 25, 2011) — Sir,
Thank you for your response. First, let me wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.
The core arguments of my articles are that the Democrat and Republican parties at the national level, i.e., the Congress and the national committees are corrupt and they do not uphold the Constitution. Obama and his Administration are simply the most flagrant examples.
Except for Rick Perry, to some extent, and Sarah Palin as a non-candidate, no Republican candidate has directly addressed the issue of corruption, which, for me, is the central issue of our time.
Nor has the leadership of the Republican Party taken a stand on Obama’s ineligibility for the Presidency (it does not matter where he was born, see article below) or his crimes both before and after occupying the Oval Office.
In fact, the Republican Party has joined the Democrats and the mainstream media to suppress discussion of these issues, have actively distributed misinformation and deliberately misdirected citizens.
Hundreds of my readers have written one or more letters to their Congressional representatives about these issues only to be ignored or ridiculed.

The effort mirrors an earlier one in Libya. In February, the Libyan League, the National Endowment for Democracy (established to do the dirty work of the CIA abroad) and various NGOs petitioned the United Nations to suspend Libya from the UN Human Rights Council. The effort was based on unsubstantiated reports of human rights abuses made by Soliman Bouchuiguir, director of the Swiss-based Libyan League for Human Rights.

With fiscal time bombs ticking in both Europe and the United States, the pertinent question for now seems to be which will explode first. For much of the past few months it looked as if Europe was set to blow. But Angela Merkel’s refusal to support a Federal Reserve style bailout of European sovereigns and her recent statement the she had no Hank Paulson style fiscal bazooka in her handbag, has lowered the heat. In contrast, the utter failure of the Congressional Super Committee in the United States to come up with any shred of success in addressing America’s fiscal problems has sparked a renewed realization that America’s fuse is dangerously short.

Three years ago, then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul, made Hillary Rodham Clinton’s success with cattle futures look like a child’s lemonade stand. The credit card giant Visa was holding an initial public offering, among the most lucrative ever seen. The Pelosis were granted early access to the IPO as “special customers” who received their shares at the opening price, $44. The lucky investors turned in a 50 percent profit in just two days.
Starting on March 18, the speaker and her husband made the first of three Visa stock buys, totaling between $1 million and $5 million. “Mere mortals would have to wait until March 19, when the stock would be publicly traded, to get their shares,” writes Peter Schweizer of the Hoover Institution in his new book. On the surface, it appeared to be quite a gamble. Mr. Schweizer reports that the investment represented at least 10 percent of the Pelosis’ stock portfolio and perhaps as much as half of their equity holdings.
