What drove 1st Lieutenant Debra Banaszak of the Missouri National Guard over the edge?

It is a question her family tried to answer for a year after she committed suicide in Kuwait in 2005. Her family simply could not believe this loving mother and police officer who also had served 17 years with the Army National Guard would take her own life.

The family tried to pry more information out of the military, but what they were getting in return did not give them closure.

To this day, the Missouri National Guard still offers a press release dated October 31, 2005 — which is just three days after Banaszak was found dead — as the only information they can provide regarding her death. The release simply states that Banaszak “died of a non-combat related injury” on Oct. 28 in Kuwait.

In Gastonia, North Carolina, a student was suspended from school for “sexual harassment” toward one of his teachers. If the story were to stop right there we might all agree with the verdict. We certainly don’t need young people acting that way toward authority figures. But this case involves a nine year old boy… and what is he accused of?

An initial article of ours on the issue of the Islamic resurgence in the Middle East was entitled, “Western Elites Secretly Still Building Islam.” You can see it here.

At the time it caused a bit of controversy but we believed it to be accurate. And it doesn’t seem any less so today. As we have learned from covering these events, much of what governments and think tanks state about current events is actually the OPPOSITE of reality.

So it makes sense. If Western elites explain that the West is at war with “radical” Islam, you ought to lift the covers to find out if the West is actually building up the threat it claims to be trying to eradicate.

See, the elite’s dominant social themes are only implemented for one reason, it seems: to create world government. Anything that aids in this effort is promoted relentlessly. And it certainly – regularly – helps the elites to have an ongoing war, a big one, too.

It’s a two-part process. In order to move toward global governance with all due speed the Anglosphere power elite has to create a growing global economic depression, or so it seems. (Out of chaos, order, etc. …)

But when young people have neither jobs nor hope, you might run into trouble. You might end up destabilizing your OWN back yard. And for this reason, war becomes a very attractive option.

War is, in fact, the best possible solution if you’re trying to continue to build a new world order.

Many in America still believe that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and that politicians, both Republican and Democrat alike, still hold that view and ensure that any and all legislation passed does not violate it. However, in today’s America, the Constitution is effectively a null and void document, nothing more than a symbol politicians pay lip service to.

The destruction of the Constitution began soon after 9/11 when the Patriot Act was pushed through Congress. In the heat of the moment it seemed as if the legislation was meant to protect us from terrorism, however it was later revealed that certain provisions blatantly violated the First, Fourth, and Sixth Amendments. [1] Interestingly enough, however, this didn’t stop the Senate from to extending the Patriot Act earlier this year [2]. In doing this, the government revealed just how much they respect the Constitution.

The next unconstitutional act to take place was under President Obama. Despite his “hope and change” rhetoric during the campaign, the only thing Obama changed was to further erode the Constitution and the power of checks and balances in government. Obama argued that the UN mandate gave him the right to bombard Libya, however the mandate has nothing to do with the fact that such an action was unconstitutional [3] as the power to declare war in held solely by Congress, not to mention the fact that it violated the War Powers Act.

James Taranto has a good piece in the Wall Street Journal today that highlights a recent debate online about the Obama coalition and whether it can hang together to bring him victory next year.

The “Government Party” which is made up of minorities, college educated adults, single women, and the intellectual class will all probably give Obama less support than in 2008. But it is the youth vote, that went 2-1 for Obama in the last election, that may tell the tale and give the GOP nominee the presidency:

On Wednesday, my column addressed some of the more hysterical arguments posited by Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano. If you are like us, every day you pick up a smartphone and you send email, visit with friends on Facebook, send a text message or even log into your bank’s website and pay a bill. These modern day conveniences have become routine.

We all believe that our passwords are secure, our data is protected, and life is easier if we don’t have to write a check to pay a bill or dig around and find a stamp to send a friend a quick note.

But this morning we are no longer sure. The tech world is in a fury, which we believe will soon break out into society at large, about a little-known software program call Carrier IQ. Over the Thanksgiving weekend a 25-year-old programmer by the name of Trevor Eckhart posted a video on YouTube which graphically displays how our naïve beliefs of privacy are just plain wrong.

The video, which lasts 17 minutes and starts slowly because he methodically goes through the privacy statements on his cell phone, is frightening. If you watch it, you will never look at your smartphone the same again. We have posted the video at Floydreports.com if you want to watch.

The program, Carrier IQ cannot be turned off. But it tracks your every move. Dial a friend’s phone, it sends the number off to someone. Send or receive a text message and the message is recorded and sent off. Call up your bank or another website in the allegedly secure https: mode which we have been told is secure, and Carrier IQ is there recording your username, password and any other move you make on your phone.

Congress needs to pass an extension to the payroll tax cut and shouldn’t adjourn until they do, President Obama said in his weekly address.

“Both parties came together to cut payroll taxes for the typical middle-class family by about $1,000, but that tax cut is set to expire at the end of this month” Obama said. “We can’t let that happen.”

The Obama administration has released new guidelines aimed at encouraging school districts and colleges to keep and pursue policies that promote racial diversity. In the process, they withdrew directives put forward during the administration of George W. Bush.

Lenore Zimmerman, who lives in Long Beach, says she was on her way to a 1 p.m. flight to Fort Lauderdale when security whisked her to a private room and took off her clothes.

“I walk with a walker — I really look like a terrorist,” she said sarcastically. “I’m tiny. I weigh 110 pounds, 107 without clothes, and I was strip-searched.”

President Barack Obama has announced his Christmas vacation to Hawaii – for a staggering 17-day trip.

Obama, who visited the island just two weeks ago for an economic summit, will head to Honolulu on Saturday December 17 until Monday January 2.
