This being the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Noman enjoyed one of the great ones, “From Here To Eternity,” starring Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster, Donna Reed, Deborah Kerr, Frank Sinatra, Ernest Borgnine and others.

It is very much a guy’s movie with lots of grunting masculinity, suppressed emotions and informal codes that rule in a very structured world of honor, courage and spirit. The first commandment on this army base is: Thou shalt not complain of abuse, or let the abuser know that he’s getting to you. The second is the same with the two terms reversed.

This code ends up costing Sinatra’s character, Pvt. Angelo Maggio, his life at the hands of the sadistic Borgnine (Sgt. ‘Fatso’ Judson). It also governs the life of Pvt. Robert E. Lee Prewitt (Clift), whose endurance and grace under duress winds up winning him the respect and friendship of his rock hard Sergeant, Milton Warden (Lancaster). Though Prew suffers silently, he gets payback on the film’s tormentors on more than one occasion. Especially satisfying are his encounters with Fatso, and Sgt. Ike Galovitch (John Dennis).

Internet Copyright Protection Bills Threaten ISPs, Web Sites, Users

Capitol Confidential ^ | 12/8/2011 | Bruce Walker

Two bills intended to stem digital piracy of movies, software and music are winding their way through both houses of Congress. House Resolution 3261, the “Stop Online Piracy Act,” or SOPA, was debated Nov. 16 in the House Judiciary Committee. Its sister bill in the Senate, the “Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act” (Protect IP), was introduced last May.

Also called the “Enforcing and Protecting American Rights Against Sites Intent on Theft and Exploitation Act” (E-PARASITE Act), SOPA has generated opposition from a wide range of groups, including far-left Public Knowledge, libertarian Electronic Freedom Foundation, light-regulatory advocates TechFreedom, and the free-market Heartland Institute.

Both bills would allow the U.S. Department of Justice to seek court orders to shut down Web sites accused of infringing on copyrights by selling pirated music and movies or counterfeit products such as clothing and medicine. Of the two bills, SOPA is far more reaching as it would permit the DOJ to target Web sites accusing of “enabling or facilitating” copyright infringement.

SOPA opponents say the bill would allow copyright holders to seek court orders targeting legitimate Web sites that feature user-generated content. As the bill is written currently, the DOJ could seek court orders requiring domain name registrars and ISPs to block U.S. access to sites accused of infringing copyright, which may prompt Internet users to attempt to bypass such blocks that may result in security issues.

“The bill makes three grave errors,” said Larry Downes, senior adjunct fellow at TechFreedom. “First, SOPA fails to identify the specific problems for which existing laws are inadequate. Second, it favors broad remedies over narrowly tailored solutions. Third, it commissions a proper cost-benefit analysis but only after the bill becomes law — too late to ensure that SOPA strikes the right balance.”

Climate Corruption 101

Never mind where you might stand on the question of global warming, global cooling, climate change or plain old weather. If there’s one constant to this entire climate debate, it is that in the name of “climate,” the United Nations wishes to regulate and tax the economy of the planet — stripping resources from the most productive economies to hand them out as assorted UN bureaucrats deem fit.

This is an agenda for global central planning — which, at the extreme, is what the Soviet Union envisioned as the radiant future of mankind, at least until the USSR itself collapsed as a basket case of monstrously misallocated resources, pervaded by the nightmare repression required to enforce such a system. Nonetheless, at the UN this agenda keeps coming up, year after year, at one climate conference after another. The proclamations of emergency have varied, but always, in the middle of it, there is the UN, proposing to serve as planner and traffic cop for global commerce — a role that entails the UN aiming to redirect resources and collecting a cut to cover the administrative enterprises of its own neo-colonial empire of agencies, organizations, intergovernmental outfits, programs and special envoys. Somehow that already includes a need for climate conferees to travel great distances at other people’s expense, with UN officials touching down from business class long-haul flights to spend a week, or maybe two, conferring at luxury hotels in locations such as Rio, Copenhagen, Cancun and Bali.

We have always had crazy people, citizens lacking common sense, the misinformed, the ignorant, the purposeful deceptive, but we never used to put them in charge, until now. We are turning into europameristan because we think, it is not happening yet in our own back yards, neighborhoods, or towns.

We shake our heads in disbelief, joke about it, talk about it, write about it, while we are losing ground every day to a minority fringe bent on destroying everything around us and installing their ideas of civilized society: anarchy, socialism, Marxism, fascism, and Islamism.

Small areas of the country that do not represent America elect politicians like Barbara Boxer who make damaging policy for the rest of the country. She said yesterday, “Climate deniers in this country are endangering humankind.” In reality, the global warming hoax group is purposefully trying to destroy our economy by imposing United Nations mandated taxes on the United States, taxes earmarked for third world dictatorships.

No one was a more articulate and outspoken abolitionist than the great libertarian legal philosopher Lysander Spooner of Massachusetts. But in 1870 Spooner wrote that “all these cries of having ‘abolished slavery,’ of having ‘saved the country,’ of having ‘preserved the union,’ of establishing a ‘government of consent,’ and of ‘maintaining the national honor’ are all gross, shameless, transparent cheats — so transparent that they ought to deceive no one.”

The great historian of liberty, Lord Acton, wrote to Robert E. Lee on November 4, 1866, that “I saw in States Rights the only availing check upon the absolutism of he sovereign will, and secession filled me with hope, not as the destruction but as the redemption of Democracy. . . . I deemed that you were fighting the battles of our liberty, our progress, and our civilization; and I mourn for the stake which was lost at Richmond more deeply than I rejoice over that which was saved at Waterloo.”

“The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible . . . . It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world.”

~ George Washington’s Farewell Address

Of all the Republican presidential candidates, only Ron Paul believes in and adheres to the American foreign policy philosophy of Washington and Jefferson. For this he, and all other like-minded statesmen over the past seven decades, have been misleadingly smeared as “isolationists.” In this context, “isolationist” is truly Orwellian. By advocating peace and free trade, and only supporting just and defensive war, Ron Paul is advocating the maximum possible interaction between the peoples of the world.

He’s Impeachable, You Know (Congress can impeach Attorney General)

New York Times (Slimes) ^ | May 3, 2007 | Frank Bowman

Posted on Thursday, December 08, 2011 1:56:39 PM by jiggyboy

Article II of the Constitution grants Congress the power to impeach “the president, the vice president and all civil officers of the United States.” The phrase “civil officers” includes the members of the cabinet (one of whom, Secretary of War William Belknap, was impeached in 1876).

*snip*

A cabinet officer, like a judge or a president, may be impeached only for commission of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” But as the Nixon and Clinton impeachment debates reminded us, that constitutional phrase embraces not only indictable crimes but “conduct … grossly incompatible with the office held and subversive of that office and of our constitutional system of government.”

*snip*

An attorney general called before Congress to discuss the workings of the Justice Department can claim the protection of “executive privilege” and, if challenged, can defend the (doubtful) legitimacy of such a claim in the courts. But having elected to testify, he has no right to lie, either by affirmatively misrepresenting facts or by falsely claiming not to remember events.

One Consistent Voice of Opposition – Doug French – Mises Daily

December 8, 2011 1 comment

Remember the promises of economic recovery? Two presidents have now made them and spent (and printed) many trillions to see them come true. There was QE1, QE2, Operation Twist, and thousands of other tricks.

And yet the economy is sinking ever more. Incomes are falling more now than two years ago. Job prospects for young people are in the pits. This entire fiasco represents one of the great failures of the state and the economic theories the state has tried. They promised a dream and delivered disaster.

The Mises Institute has been the one consistent voice of opposition from the very beginning of this crisis. We stood nearly alone against Bush’s bailout schemes and continued that opposition through the Obama years. Not only that: our editorials and publications had warned of the crisis before it happened.

We’ve prepared for this opportunity for 30 years with conferences, books, fellowships, and programs of every sort. We had every technology in place and many thousands of intellectuals around the world who have learned from what the Mises Institute does.

This 1964 drama was based on the novel by Fletcher Knebel and Charles W. Bailey II. The screenplay was written by Rod Serling.

Burt Lancaster plays General James Mattoon Scott, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Kirk Douglas plays Marine Colonel Martin “Jiggs” Casey. Nothing needs to be said about the performances of these two actors because they always turn in excellent acting jobs. Fredric March is President Jordan Lyman and I can’t think of anyone who would play him better. Ava Gardner has the role of Elinor Holbrook, the ex-girlfriend of General Scott. Edmond O’Brien is the bourbon drinking Senator Raymond Clark from Georgia and Andrew Duggan is Colonel Henderson. John Houseman has a small role as Vice-Admiral Barnswell.

As reported by Greg Hunter of www.UsaWatchDog.com, the recent passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (Senate Bill 1867), otherwise known as the “Indefinite Detention Bill,” should scare the heck out of anyone who loves the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This bill effectively hands over control to the military to arrest, torture and even kill terrorists on American soil. It also allows the military to hold suspected terrorists indefinitely without a trial or due process. This applies to both non-citizens and citizens of the United States!

New policy could serve as springboard for fresh legal challenge against federal agency

The FBI’s new definition of what constitutes rape, set to be implemented next year, could ensnare TSA agents and outlaw pat downs because it defines penetration, “no matter how slight,” using any part of the body as a rape offense.

Could FBIs New Definition of Rape Outlaw TSA Pat Downs?

“The FBI’s definition of “rape” is about to get a long-awaited update, for the first time since 1929,” reports the New York Daily News.

The new definition, approved by the the FBI’s UCR subcommittee Advisory Policy Board back in October and set to be officially adopted by the FBI in 2012, states rape is, “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

Crucially, the new definition removes the word “forcible” from the language.

Rep. Ron Paul rarely makes news, and his candidacy is frequently ignored by Beltway reporters. But headlines, his aides say, are overrated. In fact, the Texas Republican’s low-key autumn was strategic. As Paul’s competitors stumbled and sparred, he amassed a small fortune for his campaign and built a strong ground operation. And with January fast approaching, his team is ready to surprise the political world and sweep the Iowa caucuses.

“This was a movement when he first started running in 2008,” says Trygve Olson, a senior Paul adviser. “Now it’s turned into a highly professionalized campaign, but the energy from that last run is still there, and at the heart of what’s keeping up his momentum.”

(Excerpt) The Revolution Will Not Be American | Strike-The-Root: A Journal Of Liberty

December 8, 2011 11 comments

The conclusion to all of this is one that even I did not want to think of until recently. But the Revolution will not be American. Not anymore. We have learned our lessons well.

Modern Americans are riddled with apathy. If you want to know how far it can go, think of the worst atrocities the Nazis committed and realize there were no crowds storming the gates of Auschwitz . Foreign, invading soldiers opened those gates. And so shall it be with us.

We can’t wake the sleeping giant. But someone, somewhere, can club it in the head. When the Empire is too big, too aggressive, too starved and internally paralyzed (vibrantly demonstrated by Katrina, thank you, Ma’am, for that performance), and it finally oversteps one border too many, China , India , and Europe will implement, shall we say, ‘corrective procedures.’

The feature article of the June 2004 issue of “The Insider,” published by The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., is one of dozens of articles written over the past twenty years or so by Roger Pilon of the Cato Institute urging Americans to educate themselves on how the Constitution supposedly limits government. Cato Institute staffers are known for carrying little pocket-sized copies of the Constitution around with them, presumably so that they will never miss a chance to prove to anyone who will listen that there is indeed a way of limiting government: enforce the Constitution.

But this whole enterprise of preaching about the Constitution, as conservatives and libertarians have been doing since at least the 1930s, is utterly futile. It has had no effect whatsoever, yet Cato, Heritage, and many other institutions continue to churn out essentially the same old arguments about how the Constitution can limit government.

The U.S. military has some of the most advanced killing equipment in the world that allows it to invade almost wherever it likes at will. We produce so much military equipment that inventories of military robots, M-16 assault rifles, helicopters, armored vehicles, and grenade launchers eventually start to pile up and it turns out a lot of these weapons are going straight to American police forces to be used against US citizens.

Benjamin Carlson at The Daily reports on a little known endeavor called the “1033 Program” that gave more than $500 million of military gear to U.S. police forces in 2011 alone. 1033 was passed by Congress in 1997 to help law-enforcement fight terrorism and drugs, but despite a 40-year low in violent crime, police are snapping up hardware like never before. While this year’s staggering take topped the charts, next year’s orders are up 400 percent over the same period.

“The issue is, how involved was she in health care discussions between Jan. 8 and March 5? Just as President Nixon had an 18½-minute gap, does Ms. Kagan have a two-month gap?” Mr. Smith, Texas Republican, said.

QE3 and beyond, the devaluation of the dollar, massive unemployment, tumbling home prices, rising inflation, bankster bailouts, federal deficit spending, and toxic debt into perpetuity – all of it “could have been averted if we had taken heed of Dr. Ron Paul’s warnings years ago.”

This man has been fighting with absolute integrity and honesty for the values that this country was founded on for the last 30 years – sound money, balanced budgets, free markets, non-interventionist foreign policy and civil liberties. Most every other GOP Presidential candidate is an Establishment panderer who is beholden to entrenched special interests. Why should we trust another Establishment politician after being subjected to the lies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama, not to mention nearly every other politician in Washington D.C.?

The Benzinga op-ed states that the 2010 presidential election “may present one of the last opportunities for the American people to rise up against the oligarchy that has run this country into the ground for their own personal benefit at the expense of the majority of the citizens of this deteriorating Republic.”

If Ron Paul can sufficiently stir the American populace, his ideas will take root even if he does not subsequently win the GOP nomination. If this happens, U.S. policy and the entire course of our country could shift much faster than most people realize. Nothing is more powerful than an idea, and few ideas are as powerful as the concept of liberty. It is time that we finally tried something different. Ron Paul represents real change.

The fact Ron Paul’s libertarian message has gained a foothold on the highly stage-managed American political landscape is a testament to the power of the alternative media and the dedication of activists determined to return the United States to a constitutional republic.

The corporate establishment media consistently ignores and downplays Paul, but this has not prevented his message of liberty from sweeping across the country, thanks primarily to alternative media and an open and free internet (for now).

Again, it is quite remarkable Forbes – known by the motto, “The Capitalist Tool” – would publish such an editorial. It is after all considered a stalwart corporate business publication along with Fortune and Business Week.

Is it possible some of the corporatists realize Ron Paul is the last hope to preserve and restore the bedrock constitutional principles that fostered an economic environment that created an abundance of prosperity and wealth the world had never experienced before?

Marxist attack on America ~ Osawatomie Obama’s Waterloo

Folks are wondering, (but nobody more elegantly than talk show radio giant Rush Limbaugh) how President Barack Obama could use Tuesday’s Osawatomie speech as a three year later coming out party for Obama, the Marxist.

With a “Marxist attack on America” right in Election Year, the Emperor ripped off his clothes showing his Marxist nakedness to the entire political world.

Back In 2008,  Obama, still the pocket Messiah,  bristled each time the Marxist label rose up through the fog, to roundly deny the charge.

So why on Tuesday did we have Obama the Marxist on stage?

The Osawatomie speech happened not because in his arrogant head he’s ‘King of the Global World’ and not because he can now sniff the blood on what the Dems envision as the coming bloodbath of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

The United States has deployed yet another warship to the Middle East, meaning that three major aircraft carriers allied with numerous guided-missile destroyer ships are now either already located or are on their way to the troubled region.

According to Stratfor.com’s weekly naval update, a third Nimitz-class supercarrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, has now been deployed to join the U.S. fifth fleet in the Middle East.

A KOMO news report confirms the deployment, noting that 5,000 sailors are on board “headed back to the Middle East where its fighter jets will back up U.S. troops in Afghanistan.” The mission is scheduled to last four months.

Oil-Rich America? (Yes, If Democrats will allow it)

National Review ^ | 12/08/2011 | Victor Davis Hanson

Posted on Thursday, December 08, 2011 10:02:06 AM by SeekAndFind

There is a revolution going on in America. But it is not part of the Tea Party or the loud Occupy Wall Street protests.

Instead, massive new reserves of gas, oil, and coal are being discovered almost everywhere in the United States, due to revolutionary methods of exploration and exploitation such as fracking and horizontal drilling. Current prices of over $100 a barrel make even complex efforts at recovery enormously profitable.

There were always known to be additional untapped reserves of oil and gas in the petroleum-rich Gulf of Mexico, off America’s shores, and in the American West and Alaska. But even the top energy experts never imagined just how vast the energy there was — or that it was also beneath far more unlikely places such as South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. Some studies suggest the United States has now expanded its known potential gas and oil reserves tenfold.

The strategic and economic repercussions of these new finds are staggering, and remind us how a once energy-independent and thereby confident American economy soared to world dominance in the early 20th century.

America will soon again be able to supply all of its own domestic natural-gas needs — perhaps for the next 90 years at present rates of consumption. We have recently become a net exporter of refined gas and diesel fuel, and already have cut imported oil from OPEC countries by 1 million barrels per day.

With expanded exploration and conservation, the United States could also eventually supply half of its own petroleum needs. If we were to eliminate 5 million barrels of our current daily 9 million barrels of imported petroleum, the annual savings could reach nearly $200 billion per year. Eventually, the new gas and oil could add 1.6 million new jobs and up to nearly $1 trillion in federal revenue.

The Man in the Doorway Was Oswald by Ralph Cinque

December 8, 2011 Leave a comment

The identity of the man in the doorway of the Texas Schoolbook Depository in the famous photo by Ike Altgens has been debated since the very day of the assassination. It was the first photo of the assassination to circle the globe. Obviously, if Oswald was standing outside the building, he could not have been on the 6th floor shooting at Kennedy.

The Warren Commission concluded that the man standing with his shirt open was Billie Lovelady, another TBD employee, and it was based, reportedly, on his testimony, on the testimony of others, and on a very detailed anatomical comparison of the facial features.

Of course, all advocates of the lone gunman theory say that it was Lovelady, and, it is also true that some conspiracy theorists, including some prominent ones, also say that the Man in the Doorway was Lovelady.

But, I’m here to tell you that it was Oswald.

Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating public unrest on Russia’s streets after last Sunday’s disputed parliamentary election in a Cold War-style outburst certain to damage US-Russia relations.

In his first comments on three days of anti-Kremlin protests, the Russian prime minister alleged that Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, had deliberately encouraged his political opponents to take to the streets in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

“She sent a signal to some activists inside the country,” Mr Putin told a meeting of his supporters. “They got the message and started active work with the support of the US state department.”

Arpaio gets death threats over Obama investigation

December 8, 2011 9 comments

Maverick Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio says his “Cold Case Posse” investigating Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility will release a preliminary report in February of its findings, which he expects to be “controversial.”

speaking in Phoenix, Arizona on February 26, 2011.

Image via Wikipedia

“This is a serious law enforcement investigation, and our findings are going to be controversial but based in facts,” the Maricopa County sheriff told WND. Arpaio said a comprehensive report will be issued shortly after the February preliminary report.

“The investigators on the Cold Case Posse are doing a great job,” Arpaio told WND. “They are all law enforcement professionals, and they are all volunteers putting in a lot of hours at no taxpayer expense.”

Arpaio confirmed that the Obama investigation has broadened beyond an examination of whether or not the birth certificate made public by the White House on April 27 is an authentic document. The probe, he said, is examining Obama’s history in regard to his eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

Prison Planet.com » FBI’s new definition of rape ensnares TSA agents as serial rapists

December 8, 2011 2 comments

The definition of “rape” was expanded this week by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI)Criminal Justice Advisory Policy Board, following a barrage of emails from feminist activists who demanded change. The old definition was too narrow, many women argued, and needed to be updated. For one thing, it didn’t cover rape by women against women, or men against men, and we’ve all seen just how much of that goes on these days thanks to organizations like Penn State and the Catholic Church.

This is not one of my ‘Photoshops‘, this is one of the most viewed photographs ever on Flickr, and it was posted by the Whitehouse on their official WH Flickr account. A popular Swedish program has uncovered something very funny about it.

Notice how small Obama is in the picture? Much smaller than all of those who surround him.

All over Sweden they are laughing at it, and how gullible we all were, that up until now, nobody else noticed.

ACORN Visits Obama White House

American Spectator ^ | 12.8.11 @ 6:08AM | By Matthew Vadum

Leaders of the resurrected radical group ACORN are lobbying the Obama administration in what appears to be a concerted effort to game the electoral system to help Democrats, new evidence suggests.

At least five Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now leaders have visited the White House this year alone. One of those ACORN officials has been involved in vetting Department of Justice hires who may help to enforce the voter fraud-enabling National Voting Rights Act (NVRA), also known as the Motor-Voter law. The Department has come under fire for refusing to enforce Section 8, which requires states to remove the names of ineligible felons, the dead, and non-residents from voter rolls, while zealously enforcing Section 7, which requires states to register voters at welfare offices.

Special Michelle Hawaii Flight Would Cost Thousands

White House Dossier ^ | December 8, 2011 | Keith Koffler

Posted on Thursday, December 08, 2011 8:47:33 AM by COUNTrecount

President Obama’s decision to send Michelle and his daughters to Hawaii ahead of him if he is delayed by a fight with Congress could cost taxpayers tens of thousands of extra dollars to fund two separate vacation flights and related costs. The move would also violate the intent of an executive order he issued just last month urging federal employees to cut back on expenses like travel.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Wednesday that Obama told Senate Democratic leaders during a White House meeting that he would delay his scheduled December 17 departure for Hawaii to keep Congress in town until it extends the payroll tax holiday. Said Reid:

I’ll paraphrase it, but I’m pretty close. He said, ‘Michelle and the girls are going to have a great time in Hawaii. They don’t need me there.’

But sending his family ahead of him could easily cost taxpayers an added $100,000, and possibly much more.

Last year, when Obama was delayed by Congress, Michelle left early for Hawaii, and the cost of her separate flight alone totaled about $63,000. This did not include related security and staff costs or the money for a cargo plane that may trail the first lady’s jet on such a trip.

Obama joined Michelle a few days after she landed in Hawaii, and they extended their vacation past their scheduled return date to make up for the president’s lost vacation time.

Sending Michelle to Hawaii ahead of him this year would provide the first lady a convenience that Obama himself is trying to deny government workers.

Lead Pearl Harbor Bomber Converts After Reading Tract

Stone the Preacher ^ | December 7, 2011

Posted on Thursday, December 08, 2011 8:49:37 AM by rightwingintelligentsia

This is the incredible story of Mitsuo Fuchida, lead pilot of the December 7, 1941, raid on Pearl Harbor. Fuchida was the one who shouted the war cry, “Tora, Tora, Tora!”

Mitsuo Fuchida fought the United States throughout WWII and was intimately involved in the planning and leadership of the Japanese war effort as flight commander and later as a senior operations officer.

After the war, Fuchida was a defeated warrior in occupied Japan, farming to meet the needs of his family. He was also the only one to return to Japan after the bombing.

In 1950, Fuchida miraculously came to know Jesus Christ as Savior through a tract handed to him while exiting a train in Tokyo. The tract was entitled, “I Was a Prisoner of Japan,” written by Jacob DeShazer (read it here)who was one of the famous Doolittle Raiders. DeShazer trusted Christ as his Savior while held captive by Japan for 40 months. DeShazer went to Japan in 1948 as a missionary and preached to the nation who held him captive.

Fuchida faithfully served Jesus Christ as an evangelist until his death in 1976.

Abramoff says Gingrich was lobbying on behalf of consulting clients

The Hill ^ | December 8, 2011 | Justin Sink

Posted on Thursday, December 08, 2011 8:51:32 AM by maggief

Disgraced former lobbyist Jack Abramoff hit Republican presidential frontrunner Newt Gingrich for his claims that he did no lobbying on behalf of the mortgage and health care companies that paid him millions in consulting fees, calling the system of providing “strategic advice” corrupt.

“I don’t want to say he’s lying, he may believe what he’s saying, but people have to understand that lobbying isn’t just going to meet with members,” Abramoff said.

Abramoff served more than three years in prison following a conviction for corruption and fraud stemming from gifts he provided in exchange for votes to benefit Native American tribes and casinos.

Gingrich has strongly denied lobbying on behalf of clients who paid him millions in consulting fees.

“I just want to emphasize this: I did no lobbying, I did not reach out to Capitol Hill. I was not directly engaged in that way. I gave them advice on what they could do. But I’m not in the business of lobbying, period,” Gingrich said last month.

Sexual deviance, regardless of its truth, has already brought down Herman Cain. But Newt Gingrich is so far holding up stronger than his fallen rival. However now an ‘ex-mistress’ has told the National Enquirer that the GOP presidential candidate, who cheated on two previous wives, is a ‘hypocrite’.

Anne Manning claims she performed a sex act on him in his Washington.
