Rick Perry Heckled Over Gays In Military Campaign Ad

By Paul West December 11, 2011 Reporting from Ames, Iowa— Rick Perry took another shot at Mitt Romney’s offer of a $10,000 bet, but the Texas governor found himself under fire himself Sunday, heckled at a campaign stop over anti-gay bias, including by a man identifying himself as a Marine veteran from the Iraq war.

The heckling followed Perry’s brief remarks to Iowa voters at a coffee shop in downtown Ames.

“Why are you demonizing gay and lesbian people?” shouted one heckler.

“Why can’t gays compete in the military?” chimed in Jason Arment, 24, an English major at nearby Iowa State University. Arment, of Grimes, Iowa, who said he was straight, said he served with the Marines in Iraq in 2007 and 2008,

I was about to respond to the thread when the moderator pulled it because the video was “fake.”

That video was straight from Representative Sandy Adam’s website.

Would a sitting US congressman post a fake video?

In “How we advertised America“, George Creel wrote the following: (Page 16/17)

As a matter of fact, I was strongly opposed to the censorship bill, and delayed acceptance of office until the President had considered approvingly the written statement of my views on the subject. It was not that I denied the need of some sort of censorship, but deep in my heart was the feeling that the desired results could be obtained without paying the price that a formal law would have demanded. Aside from the physical difficulties of enforcement, the enormous cost, and the overwhelming irritation involved, I had the conviction that our hope must lie in the aroused patriotism of the newspaper men of America.

With the nation in arms, the need was not so much to keep the press from doing the hurtful things as to get it to do the helpful things. It was not servants we wanted, but associates. Better far to have the desired compulsions proceed from within than to apply them from without.

Good citizens of Atlanta, the Obamas were spotted heading off to church via foot from the White House, traversing Lafayette Park to get to St. John’s Church for their Sunday services on December 11, 2011 in Washington, DC.

The buzz is that President Obama’s stance on religion was on personal attack in a commercial launched by Rick Perry, that claims that Barack Obama has a supposed “war on religion.”

Are there SECRET Fast & Furious emails from Eric Holder? (Holder Can’t Give Straight Answer)

Maybe. Just possibly maybe. Check out the video below showing freshman Rep. Sandy Adams of Florida – I had the pleasure of interviewing her last year, by the way – grilling Attorney General Eric Holder over Operation Fast & Furious. For those of you unfamiliar with the Congresswoman, Rep. Adams is a former police officer whose first husband (also a police officer) was killed in the line of duty… so you can imagine what kind of reception Holder got from her when it came to Holder explaining why the US government deliberately gave guns to cop-killers.

The part that I want to highlight starts at about 4:38: a transcript of the relevant comments after the fold, with items of especial note particularly highlighted…..

Lowe’s ‘bigoted’ for pulling ‘All-American Muslim‘ ads (CA Dem senator threatens legislative action)

A California state senator called on home improvement chain Lowe’s to apologize for pulling advertising from a TV show featuring the lives of Muslim families.

Lowe’s pulled advertising from Discovery Channel/TLC’s “All-American Muslim” after the Florida Family Assn. complained about the show, which it called “propaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda’s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values.”

State Sen. Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) wrote a letter Saturday to Lowe’s Chief Executive Officer Robert A. Niblock in which he called the decision to pull advertising from the show “bigoted, shameful, and un-American” and “profoundly ignorant.” He demanded that the company rescind its action and apologize or face boycotts and legislative action.

‘Vocal Fry’ Creeping Into U.S. Speech

Vocal Fry‘ Creeping Into U.S. Speech

Science Now ^ | 12/11/2011 | Science Now

Posted on Sunday, December 11, 2011 4:13:33 PM by Dallas59

A curious vocal pattern has crept into the speech of young adult women who speak American English: low, creaky vibrations, also called vocal fry. Pop singers, such as Britney Spears, slip vocal fry into their music as a way to reach low notes and add style. Now, a new study of young women in New York state shows that the same guttural vibration—once considered a speech disorder—has become a language fad.

Vocal fry, or glottalization, is a low, staccato vibration during speech, produced by a slow fluttering of the vocal chords (listen here). Since the 1960s, vocal fry has been recognized as the lowest of the three vocal registers, which also include falsetto and modal—the usual speaking register. Speakers creak differently according to their gender, although whether it is more common in males or females varies among languages. In American English, anecdotal reports suggest that the behavior is much more common in women. (In British English, the pattern is the opposite.) Historically, continual use of vocal fry was classified as part of a voice disorder that was believed to lead to vocal chord damage. However, in recent years, researchers have noted occasional use of the creak in speakers with normal voice quality.

ANAHEIM – He was beaten. Marched before a firing squad. Starved at Buchenwald.

Only a small twist of fate saved him – four days before the Nazis planned to execute him.

They have survived Buchenwald. But the world isn’t ready to hear it. After the war, they are told to not speak about it. The official U.S. stance was that no American POWs went to Buchenwald.

“We were still negotiating certain things with the Germans,” says Dorsey, of Temecula. “The government didn’t want to upset people by saying U.S. servicemen were held in concentration camps.”

Entanglement – The Death of Independence and Liberty| The Post & Email

December 11, 2011 Leave a comment

…..Ever since the dawn of American civilization, man continues to wrap himself up in complexity. This behavior has all the earmarks of a subconscious death wish. Government writes legislation that is over 2,000 pages (i.e., Obama Care, Dodd-Frank Bill, etc.). In contrast, some of the largest novels ever written were only about 1,000 pages, single spaced. We have hundreds of bureaucracies, at all levels of government, writing hundreds, if not thousands of pages of rule, after rule, after rule ….. every day! The Constitution is only about 20 pages.

On the international front, we have entangled nation-to-nation Central Banks, the IMF, the WTO, NGO’s and thousands of treaties that further tie civilization up in knots. You can’t move sideways without running into a rule or a law, national or international. Most people are law breakers because of too many laws but they don’t even know it, much less care. These national and international entanglements are slowly obliterating American sovereignty and freedom, right under our noses…..

The Daily Bell – Thomas Woods, Jr. on Libertarianism Versus the Catholic Church, Ron Paul’s Presidential Chances and US State Secession

December 11, 2011 6 comments

…..Daily Bell: Could some states begin to take a real look at secession, state sovereignty and Tenth Amendment actions if the economy continues to worsen?

Thomas E. Woods, Jr.: Ron Paul has been saying we should expect de facto nullification when the real crisis comes and the federal government has trouble paying its bills. It will be harder for it to intimidate the states into doing its bidding. At that point, they may garner the courage to take a real and long-overdue stand against Washington.

Filling in for Peter Schiff on his radio show not long ago, I asked Pat Buchanan how likely he thought it was, on a scale of one to ten, that secession might be seriously entertained sometime over the course of the next several generations, given the scope of the problems the country is sure to face. He said 8 or 9. But he was thinking in terms of the American Southwest, which will increasingly be culturally Mexican, so that’s a different scenario from the one you’re describing.

Students of recent world history would be advised not to rule out a possible outcome just because it seems unlikely or “out of the mainstream” (ooh, beware!) today.

Daily Bell: What’s your latest book and when is it scheduled to come out?

Thomas E. Woods, Jr.: That’s it for books from me for a while. I’ve written five books (and edited a book of essays) in the past five years: 33 Questions About American History You’re Not Supposed to Ask, Who Killed the Constitution? (with Kevin Gutzman), Meltdown (on the financial crisis; foreword by Ron Paul), Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century (see my Interview with a Zombie promo video), Back on the Road to Serfdom and, most recently, Rollback.

Rollback makes a pretty relentless case against just about everything the federal government does, from the regulatory apparatus to the military-industrial complex, the war on drugs, economic “stimulus,” the Federal Reserve, and on and on. It could have been called “Everything Should Be Abolished, And Here’s Why.”…..

Are we sleeping with the Enemy? « Coach is Right

December 11, 2011 Leave a comment

…..Just who is our real enemy here? Is it a rabid Democrat opposition with unlimited funds to attack and bring down any viable GOP candidate? Is it the Mainstream Media? Or are we really at war with our own Republican base of old time hacks fighting with all of their might to keep anyone who won’t play ball with them out of power?

Do these insiders really want us to win? Did Pollster Thompson really say, “We’re hesitant to jump on board with heavy attacks?” So now their machinations are exposed, and we have to ask ourselves why does Obama need his support base if he has ours?

The Core of the Patriot Act Was Drafted in 1995 … By Joe Biden

Everyone knows that the Patriot Act was drafted before 9/11.

But few know that it was Joe Biden who drafted the core provisions which were included in that bill … in1995.

CNET reported in 2008:

Months before the Oklahoma City bombing took place, Biden introduced another bill called the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It previewed the 2001 Patriot Act by allowing secret evidence to be used in prosecutions, expanding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and wiretap laws, creating a new federal crime of “terrorism” that could be invoked based on political beliefs, permitting the U.S. military to be used in civilian law enforcement, and allowing permanent detention of non-U.S. citizens without judicial review.* The Center for National Security Studies said the bill would erode“constitutional and statutory due process protections” and would “authorize the Justice Department to pick and choose crimes to investigate and prosecute based on political beliefs and assocJoe Biden Drafted the Core of the Patriot Act in 1995 … Before the Oklahoma City Bombing blankiations.”

Breaking: Feds Falsely Censor Popular Blog For Over A Year, Deny All Due Process, Hide All Details

December 11, 2011 1 comment

…..But, in a story that’s been in the making for over a year, and which we’re exposing to the public for the first time now, this is exactly the scenario that has played out over the past year — with the only difference being that, rather than “a printing press” and a “magazine,” the story involved “a domain” and a “blog.”

There are so many things about this story that are crazy, it’s difficult to know where to start, so let’s give the most important point first: The US government has effectively admitted that it totally screwed up and falsely seized & censored a non-infringing domain of a popular blog, having falsely claimed that it was taking part in criminal copyright infringement.

Then, after trying to hide behind a totally secretive court process with absolutely no due process whatsoever (in fact, not even serving papers on the lawyer for the site or providing timely notifications — or providing any documents at all), for over a year, the government has finally realized it couldn’t hide any more and has given up, and returned the domain name to its original owner.

As we are discovering, there isn’t much difference between monopoly capitalism and Communism. Under Communism, the State owns the corporations and the Illuminati bankers own the State. Under monopoly capitalism, the corporations own the State, and the bankers own the corporations. Both are devoted to giving the satanist bankers a total political, cultural, economic and spiritual monopoly, i.e. the New World Order.

The only difference is in the West, there is an illusion of freedom and democracy. “Witting” servants of the Illuminati bankers are chosen to lead governments and organizations, while unwitting dupes perpetuate the illusion of a free society. The masses are also unwitting dupes kept in a coma by the education system and mass media.

On December 5, 2011, Presidential Candidate John Dummett of California recently traveled 789 miles to Maricopa County, AZ and back to meet with Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has been conducting an investigation into questions surrounding the presidential eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama.

“Arpaio was intrigued by Van Irion’s and my approach of going after the DNC and not attacking Barack Obama or asking any court to decide Obama’s eligibility. He told us things that I still have to hold in confidentiality. I can say, because it has already been released to the press and I can verify it, that he will produce a report in February, and it will be devastating. I can’t say what it is, but I know what it is.”

When we asked Dummett if the “devastating” part of Arpaio’s future report was communicated in written or verbal form, he was not at liberty to answer.
