‘Green light’ to see Obama’s Hawaii files [It's about time !]

January 31, 2012 8 comments

An attorney who presented evidence to a Georgia judge last week on Barack Obama’s eligibility for the state’s 2012 presidential ballot believes she now has a right to demand to see his original Hawaii documents.

Obama last April released what he said was a copy of his original Hawaii birth documentation, but a number of imaging, document and computer experts contend it is a fraud.

The original birth documentation could undermine Obama’s claim to be a “natural-born citizen,” as the Constitution requires. Many of his critics, however, say the birth documentation doesn’t matter, because Obama’s father never was a U.S. citizen. The Founders likely understood “natural-born citizen” to mean the offspring of two U.S. citizens.

Now California attorney Orly Taitz, who has brought a number of major legal challenges to Obama’s eligibility in various courts up to the U.S. Supreme Court, has told WND that when Obama and his lawyer wrote a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp last week refusing to attend the hearing on Obama’s eligibility status, they included a copy of the image that the White House released last April.

They also sent a copy to the court of Judge Michael Malihi, the hearing officer, whose ruling is expected to be made available in the next few days.

Authorities investigate ‘anthrax’ and Obama threat aimed at Arizona Sheriff Arpaio ff-

PHOENIX – A bomb squad was called out to the downtown offices of controversial Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Phoenix Monday, after a suspicious envelope was found to contain an unidentified white powdery substance.

Arpaio said the letter, which he found at his home over the weekend, was addressed to the White House with his home address as the return address, The Arizona Republic reported.

The man who bills himself as “America’s Toughest Sheriff” said he was immediately suspicious because he had never sent anything to the White House.

When deputies opened the envelope at their offices Monday morning, they found a white powder inside and a note purporting to be from Arpaio to President Barack Obama.

Romney’s connection to Saul Alinsky…

January 31, 2012 6 comments

BOSTON – Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has frequently brought up President Obama’s fondness for the politics and methods of activist Saul Alinsky.

However, there is evidence presumptive Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney may have been influenced by the late 20th century, Chicago-based radical.

Political commentator Dan Riehl wrote on BigGovernment.com that the “toxic-to-conservatives” Alinsky effect has its roots in the former Massachusetts governor’s father, George Romney.

“The progressive Alinsky is infamous and actually toxic on the right,” Riehl wrote. “George Romney’s endorsement of him, coupled with his acknowledged strong influence on son Mitt, will do little to assure suspicious conservatives concerned about Mitt Romney’s record as a progressive, including his introduction of Romneycare in Massachusetts.”

Prison Planet.com » Biased? Paid Media Partners Praise Vaccine, GMO Programs Led by Bill Gates

Reports commonly say Bill Gates– through his philanthropic foundation work– is ‘saving lives’ and ‘feeding the world’s poor.’

Biased? Paid Media Partners Praise Vaccine, GMO Programs Led by Bill Gates media gates haloBut there’s no mistaking the genocidal undertones. Hundreds of millions if not billions are living on the edge of starvation at the start of the 21st Century, while a new era of GMO-proliferation and Big Agra domination pose other grave threats– both economic and vital. Thus, it is extremely important that we collectively decide on the best solutions for the future– or at least avoid the worst outcomes; it could prove far too costly in hindsight to pander to the wrong development.

So why has “the media” been so positively-glowing about Gates’ singular heavy-hand pushing GMO crops on the developing world (see AGRA partnership with Rockefeller Foundation and Monsanto) while vowing to lower population numbers through his global vaccination campaign (see GAVI alliance with Rockefeller Foundation), all while helping consolidate ownership in the food market now driving up prices (see global food security under Gates Foundation, Cargill and others)?

Neo-CONNED! (Ron Paul 2003) What Is A NeoCon?

January 31, 2012 2 comments

Neo-CONNED! PDF Print E-mail

HON. RON PAUL OF TEXAS IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES July 10, 2003 Neo – CONNED !

The modern-day limited-government movement has been co-opted. The conservatives have failed in their effort to shrink the size of government. There has not been, nor will there soon be, a conservative revolution in Washington.

Party control of the federal government has changed, but the inexorable growth in the size and scope of government has continued unabated. The liberal arguments for limited government in personal affairs and foreign military adventurism were never seriously considered as part of this revolution.

Since the change of the political party in charge has not made a difference, who’s really in charge? If the particular party in power makes little difference, whose policy is it that permits expanded government programs, increased spending, huge deficits, nation building and the pervasive invasion of our privacy, with fewer Fourth Amendment protections than ever before?

Someone is responsible, and it’s important that those of us who love liberty, and resent big-brother government, identify the philosophic supporters who have the most to say about the direction our country is going. If they’re wrong—and I believe they are—we need to show it, alert the American people, and offer a more positive approach to government. However, this depends on whether the American people desire to live in a free society and reject the dangerous notion that we need a strong central government to take care of us from the cradle to the grave. Do the American people really believe it’s the government’s responsibility to make us morally better and economically equal? Do we have a responsibility to police the world, while imposing our vision of good government on everyone else in the world with some form of utopian nation building?

If not, and the contemporary enemies of liberty are exposed and rejected, then it behooves us to present an alternative philosophy that is morally superior and economically sound and provides a guide to world affairs to enhance peace and commerce.

One thing is certain: conservatives who worked and voted for less government in the Reagan years and welcomed the takeover of the U.S. Congress and the presidency in the 1990s and early 2000s were deceived. Soon they will realize that the goal of limited government has been dashed and that their views no longer matter.

The so-called conservative revolution of the past two decades has given us massive growth in government size, spending and regulations. Deficits are exploding and the national debt is now rising at greater than a half-trillion dollars per year.

Watching Our Language: The Left-Right Language Barrier

January 31, 2012 Leave a comment

Language barriers are obviously an impediment to communication. If one man speaks Chinese and another Swedish, it may be hard for them to settle even simple matters, let alone the deep issues of the day. Yet there can be language barriers even within a language, such as when people use ill-defined terminology. In fact, some debates rage on endlessly partially because people who have the same tongue are, sometimes unknowingly, speaking a different language.

This occurs to me when I hear many arguments about Left versus Right. For example, it’s not uncommon for conservatives and liberals to debate whether groups such as the Nazis and Italian fascists were of the Left or Right. Of course, it’s not hard to figure out who takes what position! What, however, is the truth?

Some will say that you can recognize the “Right” based on racial and nationalistic ideology, but the fact is that there simply is no unique correlation between groups which textbooks have labeled as rightist and such beliefs. For example, Italian fascism — and the ideology was born in Italy — never had a racial or ethnic component.

The Daily Bell – Facebook IPO Is US Intel Operation?

…It strikes us as a dominant social theme of sorts, despite all the excitement that the IPO has caused see excerpt above. The media is full of breathless adulation regarding Facebook and Zuckerberg. We’re supposed to accept this narrative unquestioningly. We don’t.There is a group of impossibly wealthy families, in our view − a power elite initially based in the City of London − that controls central banking around the world.

This handful of families uses trillions in cash flow to aid in the construction of what is popularly known as the New World Order. This NWO is not erected without a good deal of effort, and what we call the Internet Reformation has proven to be a stumbling block. The information revealed on the Internet has generated extreme opposition to what the NWO families are trying to do, along with their enablers and associates. In order to overcome this opposition, the power elite has launched a series of false flags that are intended to make the Internet more confusing to the opposition and more supportive of its efforts.Facebook, from what we can tell, is a kind of false flag intended to gather huge numbers of users in an environment that will be – at least gently – pro-globalist. Or at least useful to the globalist agenda.

Why do we believe that Facebook is a kind of false flag?

“Assad and his family will be killed in Syria. Their next steps will be very bloody. The end for him will be that he is killed like Gaddafi,” Maleh said during an interview with The Telegraph newspaper. (Emphasis added.)

Prison Planet.com » Iran Will Be Attacked Because International Banksters Are In Pursuit of A One World Colony

January 31, 2012 Leave a comment

Globalization, as practiced by the U.S. government since the state terror attacks on September 11, 2001, is colonization under a new internationalist flag.

Inusurers aka banksters are at the tip of the spear in the economic colonization of Earth and thus they are the enemies of all nations and all laws. America is the biggest victim of their financial colonization/imperialism.America’s national sovereignty and constitutional government were destroyed in 1913 by the private banksters of the Federal Reserve cartel.

Freedom became a fantasy and America became an illusion. In the 20th century, a few countries resisted the economic colonization of the planet by the banksters. Germany and Japan resisted the banksters’ economic aggression in the 1930s, which means that the governments of the United States and Britain were not the leaders of the free world, but instead representatives of the banksters’ tyrannical will.

Thursday, the national media moved a step closer to establishing this unfortunate characterization as conventional wisdom in the newsroom. USA Today, a national newspaper second to only the Wall Street Journal in distribution, published a story with a headline brimming with violent imagery:

Is It Time for the Tea Party to Start Its Own Political Party?

January 31, 2012 1 comment

A couple of years ago, when people started mentioning the idea of the Tea Party becoming its own stand-alone political party, I immediately thought it was a bad idea, one that would guarantee victory to the Democrats.

But lately, thanks to the establishment trying to ram Democrat-lite Mitt Romney down our throats, I’ve started thinking it might not actually be a bad idea and might actually increase the chance of a conservative taking the White House.

Right now, the establishment of the GOP has a laser focus on appealing to moderates, the thought being that the base of the party is going to fall in line and then with independents, they can win the election, their sole ultimate goal (it’s pretty clear now they don’t actually care what the GOP candidate actually believes in just as long as he wins the election and then repays them with favors, political appointments, access etc.).

The criminal tendencies of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration were on full display today when it was revealed the agency installed spy software and illegally hacked into the private Gmail accounts of at least half a dozen of its own top scientists.

Those scientists, it turns out, were the very same whistleblowers who warned Congress about the FDA’s approval of dangerous medical devices that threatened the lives of patients. In response to them taking action to protect the lives of the innocent — something the FDA is supposed to do but has long since abandoned — they were instead subjected to illegal hacking and having their employment contracts with the FDA terminated.

But we won’t do it on the basis of the Left’s dishonesty, we’ll do it on the basis of hard numbers and facts.

The difference between the US Civil War and the Libyan “revolution” is that Russia came to America’s rescue in 1863 but did not intervene on Libya‘s behalf in 2011.by Henry Makow Ph.D.

The US Civil War took place for reasons similar to the “Arab Spring” revolution that overthrew Muammar Gaddafi.Yes folks, Gadhafi may have been the Abraham Lincoln of our day.In 1832, President Andrew Jackson ended the Charter of the Rothschild-controlled Bank of the United States.

This Central Bank had given the Rothschilds exclusive right to create money and control of the US economy.

The bankers decided that the US had to be weakened by civil strife and brought to heel. It was intended that the northern states should become a British colony again, and the southern states should be dependent on France.According to Gertrude Coogan, “the American Civil War was planned in London in 1857.”

The Money Creators, p. 179.A group of French bankers supported the South and a British group supported the North. Napoleon III was loaned 200 million francs to invade Mexico in 1861. His troops came from the NATO of the day, Austria, Belgium, England France and Spain. In 1863, Napoleon III offered to subjugate the North in exchange for Texas and Louisiana. The bankers’ plan would have succeeded but for the intervention of Tsar Alexander II. He warned the “Allies” that an attack on the North would be considered an attack on Russia.

He sent his Atlantic and Pacific fleets to New York and San Francisco to make the point. The bankers’ backed down but made a mental note: Remove the Tsar.

The difference between the US in 1863 and Libya in 2011 is that Russia did not come to Libya’s aid. Like Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln, Muammar Ghadafi was resisting Rothschild world hegemony.

Default Judgment Against Obama Discussed: Today’s Eligibility Hearing in Georgia

At least one of the attorney’s pointed out to the judge that Obama’s attorney not showing up was showing contempt to the court and to the entire judicial system. There was a short private meeting in the Judge’s chambers prior to the start of the hearing. The hearing ended after about two hours of presentation by the various lawyers for the plaintiff’s side including getting testimony from witnesses and presenting the court exhibits and Supreme Court case law covering the issue of natural born Citizenship and that Obama is not “natural born Citizen of the United States” and thus is not eligible to be on the GA ballot. Atty Taitz also introduced evidence and witness testimony regarding Obama’s identity fraud activities regarding the Connecticut SSN and the forged online birth certificate.

Articles: Media Blackout in Obama Georgia Ballot Eligibility Case

January 31, 2012 5 comments

Last week, I noted that Obama turned his back not just on Arizona’s Governor Jan Brewer, but also on the laws of the State of Georgia.

Attorney and activist Orly Taitz

Image via Wikipedia

I closed my column, “Georgia Ballot Challenge: Obama Walks on By,” with the observation: “And most of the media has followed along right behind him.”At the time, I had just witnessed an historic hearing that actually discussed the eligibility of the sitting president of the United States to run for a second term. The president had been subpoenaed to appear, and instead of his attorney respectfully following protocol to have that subpoena recalled, both Obama and his attorney, Michael Jablonski, simply failed to show up at all or offer any defense whatsoever.Isn’t there a headline in there somewhere? The hearing proceeded as planned, even though the table for the defense was empty. Attorneys Van Irion and J. Mark Hatfield presented their cases first and offered compelling arguments — not regarding Obama’s birthplace, but rather that the non-U.S. citizenship of Obama’s father precluded Obama’s “natural born” eligibility under the Constitution and existing Supreme Court precedent.

Attorney Orly Taitz, however, did present interesting evidence that questioned the validity of Obama’s birth certificate and questions surrounding his Social Security number. When the hearing ended, the media in attendance almost literally pounced on Taitz. Irion and Hatfield and their clients had left the premises earlier, while Taitz was still presenting her case; however, Irion asserted to me that not one member of the press stopped them on their way out.

Doubtless the media did not want to discuss the law — they’d rather write their usual stories on the birth certificate and interview the one they’ve dubbed the “birther queen.”Attorney Taitz handled herself well, even though the press taunted her with rudeness and leading questions she has doubtless experienced many times.

Death of the Walmart greeter: Shop scraps door staff after 30 years

The retailer got rid of its night-shift greeters four months ago, and now intends to move day-shift staff inside its shops.

Known for welcoming shoppers with ‘a cart and a smile,’ the greeters have been a feature of the chain’s customer service since 1980, when the store’s founder decided that ‘aggressive hospitality’ would help set it apart from competitors. While many staff have expressed fears that their jobs will soon be scrapped, Walmart spokesman David Tovar said, ‘they’re not going anywhere’.

He said the greeters would be given more responsibility under the indoor move, so that they can ‘really focus on customer service,’ and interact more with customers.

This week, Ron Paul is likely to win more delegates to the 2012 GOP convention than either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum.

In fact, he’s likely to win more delegates than Gingrich and Santorum combined.

“Hold it”, you’re saying, “How can that be? Rep. Paul’s polling in single digits in Florida. He’s going to finish behind Gingrich and Santorum, as well as Mitt Romney, in Tuesday’s Florida primary. How can that translate into beating any of his rivals at all?”

We’ll tell you how – because he’s not winning those delegates in Florida. He’s winning, or will probably win, at least a few delegates in Maine.

Paul took a quick two-day swing through Maine over the weekend, in case you didn’t notice. He met with GOP Gov. Paul LePage. He spoke to big crowds throughout the state – in Lewiston, apparently, event organizers had to expand his conference room to handle the people who showed up.

Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots

Posted: 13 Jan 2011 05:48 AM PST

A grim report prepared by France’s General Directorate for External Security (DGSE) obtained by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) states that president’s Obama and Sarkozy have “agreed in principal” to create a joint US-European military force to deal exclusively with a Global uprising expected this spring as our World runs out of food.

Obama eligibility challenges spread to 6 states

January 31, 2012 9 comments

An administrative law judge in Georgia could decide as early as this week whether voters in the state convinced him Barack Obama’s name should be removed from the 2012 presidential ballot because he is not qualified to hold the office.

But win, lose or draw, the fight isn’t going to be over, as other cases are erupting across the nation, with challenges being raised anew even in Obama’s own adopted political network in Illinois.

The Georgia hearing was before Judge Michael Malihi, and while none of the lawyers who appeared in the proceedings was willing to predict what the decision will be, several did confirm that Malihi had considered simply granting them a default victory, because Obama and his lawyers expressly stated they would not participate in a hearing to provide evidence that he is qualified to be on the ballot.

A default presumably would have meant a recommendation from the judge that Obama’s name be stricken from the ballot, a decision which would head for review immediately by Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp.

He, however, was the one who warned Obama of the “peril” of not participating in the hearing when Obama and his attorney had asked that the event be canceled.

The Forever Dog — Dog breeds were created by human beings. The village dog created itself

January 30, 2012 Leave a comment

While a postdoc at Cornell University a few years ago, Adam Boyko became curious about the little-studied village vagrants. Though dogs were first domesticated 20,000 to 15,000 years ago, most breeds go back only a few hundred years.

Perhaps village dog DNA might shed light on the long, early history of domestication, when canines were hanging around humans yet not under our domain. But how to get samples? As it happened, around the same time Boyko’s brother Ryan had married, and he and wife Corin were looking for a cheap honeymoon off the beaten track. The three Boykos decided to merge their two quests.

Adam — now at Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine — obtained a grant, then enlisted Ryan and Corin to spend their honeymoon traveling around Egypt, Uganda, and Namibia, befriending villagers and local vets.

Is the Tea Party Losing Its Grip on the GOP?

January 30, 2012 4 comments

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Newt Gingrich‘s fast Florida fade is the latest indication that the Tea Party is losing its grip on the GOP, with the establishment poised to triumph once again. An official endorsement Saturday night from last year’s Tea Party standout, Herman Cain; an all-but-official backing from longtime Tea Party darling Sarah Palin; and the support of an increasing number of Tea Party officials around the country have not lifted Gingrich back over Mitt Romney in the Florida polls.

That weakened clout has been accompanied by the Republican establishment’s full-throttle charge at Gingrich’s past — to great effect with the primary here just one day away. It’s a stunning twist of fate for the GOP, which just 18 months ago was mired in intraparty battles that gave rise to the grass-roots movement, and which had been desperately seeking anyone but Mitt Romney in the presidential race to satisfy its hard-right turn. Still, if Romney wins here on Tuesday and goes on to clinch the nomination in the coming weeks or months, it may not settle the question of whether he has quieted the Tea Party faithful heading toward the general election. Its various favorites have failed to take hold.

Michele Bachmann was ultimately not seen as credible, Cain was forced out of the race over charges of sexual harassment, and Rick Perry couldn’t pass muster through the debates.Though Gingrich has embraced the Tea Party — and many of its leaders have hugged him back — he doesn’t fit the movement’s mold.

Jan Brewer Didn’t Roll Over In Her Obama Photo-Op

January 30, 2012 5 comments

The now-famous picture of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer shaking her finger at President Obama is both appropriate and deserved. In America, we don’t have rulers entitled to the deference and obsequiousness other countries show to their kings; our elected officials are ordinary citizens whom we are free to criticize.

Obama apparently took offense at the way Gov. Brewer described her meeting with the president in the Oval Office. She said he had been “condescending,” “patronizing” and just wanted to lecture her, instead of showing any willingness to hear Arizona’s concerns about border problems. He also didn’t answer the governor’s five letters.

Her description sounds authentic because that’s exactly how he treated her when they met on the tarmac as he was campaigning for re-election. The background of this meeting is the insulting way Obama is treating Arizona by suing that state for trying to enforce laws against illegal aliens, withdrawing National Guardsmen from the Mexican border, initiating a civil rights investigation of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the scandal of the “Fast and Furious” gun-sale operation.

MORE ADVICE FROM CHRIST FINANCIAL -

24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

27Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

29 And yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?’ or “What shall we drink?’ or “What shall we wear?’

32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Though we’ll not know the outcome of the Georgia hearing regarding ballot eligibility for the nation’s number 1 undocumented worker until the first part of February, Barack Obama’s high-powered attorney apparently suffered an attack of rapid, shallow breathing just before the courtroom drama was about to unfold.

One day prior to the scheduled hearing before Administrative Judge Michael Malihi, Obama attorney Michael Jablonski addressed both a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp AND an email, directed to the Secretary via one of the court’s hearing officers, asking Kemp to cancel the hearing.

Georgia law allows “any elector who is eligible to vote for a candidate” to file an objection to that candidate’s inclusion on the State ballot. (1)

(“THE CONSTITUTION – WHAT IT IS AND IS NOT”) ~ Jim R. Schwiesow — State of the Nation

January 30, 2012 1 comment

THE CONSTITUTION – WHAT IT IS AND IS NOT

…..I continue to hear that the constitution will save us. Not the Bible mind you, but a constitution of and by men. It is as if the constitution – and the constitution alone – is the basis for the moral principles that directs the affairs of men.

This is simply a goofy and specious contention. The constitution never saved anyone and it never will. As a matter of fact it will not save this nation or preserve it from the ultimate destruction that now breathes down our necks. God is not bound by the constitution and unless my power of observation is entirely faulty neither are those who govern this nation, though they ought to be.

I do believe that the constitution as it was contemplated and written by the founders was – a past tense application here – a quite marvelous and venerable document. Some very enlightened and remarkable men constructed the framework of the foundation upon which our government was supposed to rest.

The process wasn’t completed until the Bill of Rights was poured into the skeletal structure to cement the whole into a solid base upon which the blocks of regulatory laws were to be laid. The demolition of the whole began almost immediately upon its completion.

Almost immediately, and with rabid intensity, totalitarian-minded loose constructionists applied the wrecking ball to the constitution and never relented in its incremental destruction. As the number of these nationalist revolutionaries increased so the dismantling of the constitution increased. Today it is safe to say that strict construction advocators no longer exist.

The entirety of the laws that direct the affairs of government are predicated upon subjective – mostly capricious – judicial decrees. Our laws are no longer grounded in the constitution they are rather the evolutionary bastards of political correctness, nationalistic zeal, and socialist doctrine.

The constitution is now exactly as George W. Bush opined during one of his numerous emperor-like moments.

The U.S. Constitution: The 18th Century Patriot Act

January 30, 2012 9 comments

At some point in the past, the American ethos was centered on suspicion of government –whether liberal, conservative, or otherwise. For most of America’s first two centuries, Americans were taxed less, regulated less, and left more alone by their government than any other people in the world. These conditions resulted in an explosion of innovation, wealth, and culture unsurpassed at any time in human history.

As that trend seems to have reversed, Americans look to their past to try to establish where we have gone wrong and what we can do to solve our problems. Increasingly, some Americans point to the U.S. Constitution and our abandonment of its “limits on government” as the reason for our downfall. It is generally argued by “strict constitutionalists” that the purpose of the U.S. Constitution was to limit the power of the government. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Don’t get me wrong. If our government were limited to the powers granted it in that document, the United States of America would be far freer, far more prosperous, and likely not facing any of the monumental problems that it is facing now. However, that does not change the facts about why the Constitutional Convention was called or why the Constitution itself was

Constitution Worship Revisited: I’m Still Fed Up! by Gary D. Barnett

January 30, 2012 5 comments

Last year I wrote an article titled “I’m Fed Up With Constitution Worship!” Since that time it seems, I hear more and more every day about “getting back to the constitution,” mainly from “conservatives” and those of the Tea Party persuasion. I always wonder not only have any of these people ever read and studied the constitution, but also do they even understand why it was secretly drafted in the first place?

All indications show that they aren’t at all familiar with the enabling power of that document to create a strong central governing system that reduced severely the sovereignty of the states.

I have this contrarian view not because I am cynical or pessimistic, but because I have thoroughly studied this set of rules or “law of the land,” and found them to be antagonist to individual liberty and state’s rights, and sympathetic to big government. When one compares the constitution that was replaced, The Articles of Confederation, there is little doubt of this truth. Lysander Spooner said this:

Says federal agency “traps” Americans into going along with police state

Video: Ron Paul Blasts Bureaucratic Monster TSA 300112rotator8

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul slammed the TSA during a CNN interview Sunday night, refusing to back down a week after the incident involving the detainment of Senator Rand Paul by the federal agency in Nashville.

Speaking with Candy Crowley on CNN’s “State of the Union”, Paul dubbed the TSA a “bureaucratic monster” that “totally voids the concept of the fourth amendment.”

“They trap us into it,” Paul told Crowley. “There’s no way you can travel if you don’t do it. So I’ve said, you know, when you look at some of these pictures of probing groin areas and breast areas and all this, and old women having to take their clothes off, if we as a people are so complacent that we can look at that and say, oh, that’s OK, they’re making us safe.”

These are desperate times, with Barack Obama destroying the country, so it’s understandable. Believe me, no one wants to see him removed from office more than me – an office he is neither eligible nor worthy to hold.

But the bad news is it will take more than a worthy opponent in November to restore America to the vision of its founders and to the unique promise it once offered as a shining city on a hill.

Joseph de Maistre said back in the early 19th century that a nation gets the kind of leaders it deserves – certainly those nations where the people are permitted to do so.

Betty Freauf — Presidential Candidate Ron Paul An Anomaly

January 30, 2012 4 comments

…..This isn’t the first time some so-called a conservative talk show host has attacked a candidate who would honor his oath of office. Michael Medved, another Salem Radio Network SRN talk show host who originates out of the liberal Seattle, Washington area, in 2004 had as his guest Constitutional Party candidate for president, Michael Anthony Peroutka, that he kicked around, interrupted and harassed for a segment or more. His chosen Vice President was Chuck Baldwin, a frequent contributor to NewsWithViews.According to its website, SRN is Number 1 for Christian and conservative views with over 190 hours of daily original programming and one of the fastest growing full-service radio networks in the U.S. with more than 2,000 radio stations, so why all the negativity from these so-called conservatives about a principled candidate like Ron Paul? Rush Limbaugh tends to be mean spirited too.

Rush, America’s gift to broadcasting, according to him anyway, helped President Clinton and the GOP controlled House under the leadership of House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, enact the North American Free Trade NAFTA in the mid 90’s and I haven’t heard one word about NAFTA in the debates. These talk show pundits don’t like Ron Paul’s foreign policies and they seem eager to go to war at the drop of the hat. Of course, Paul is the only candidate still in the running that has military service and gets more contributions from the military than any of the remaining three candidates. Paul doesn’t allow the Washington crowd or the SRN prideful twits to affect him one way or the other. He stays on course like a good captain of a ship. Obadiah, the shortest book in the Bible, says in V. 3 that people with prideful hearts are open to deception. The SRN website notes the leading conservative talk show hosts are Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved & Dennis Prager.

In Europe, there has been over the past two years a seismic shift in the opinion of the American president, who was once thought of as an agent for “hope and change” (something many in Europe could not explain either). I have often written about the opinion many in Europe have of Barack Obama.

Yesterday one of my favorite columnists, Janet Daley, who writes for The Telegraph in Great Britain, penned an outstanding article clearly calling out Barack Obama for who he is and what he is doing. The title of the piece: “Barack Obama is Trying to Make The US a More Socialist State.”

Media Blackout in Obama Georgia Ballot Eligibility Case

January 30, 2012 3 comments

Last week, I noted that Obama turned his back not just on Arizona’s Governor Jan Brewer, but also on the laws of the State of Georgia. I closed my column, “Georgia Ballot Challenge: Obama Walks on By,” with the observation: “And most of the media has followed along right behind him.”

At the time, I had just witnessed an historic hearing that actually discussed the eligibility of the sitting president of the United States to run for a second term. The president had been subpoenaed to appear, and instead of his attorney respectfully following protocol to have that subpoena recalled, both Obama and his attorney, Michael Jablonski, simply failed to show up at all or offer any defense whatsoever.

Isn’t there a headline in there somewhere?

Why Did Obama Not Attend Thursday’s Hearing in Atlanta?

January 29, 2012 1 comment

Barack Hussein Obama’s Georgia counsel, Michael Jablonski, had stated that it was “unreasonable1” to expect Obama to attend the ballot challenge hearing in Atlanta on January 26 at 9:00 a.m. ET.The White House has been posting Obama’s activities day by day this week2, and the schedule now reflects that his schedule was open on Thursday morning.

However, The Post & Email has been told by a source that Obama watched the entire hearing remotely. Is that why his morning schedule was open?At the beginning of this week, the presidential schedule was devoid of entries3.

Various external reports were published each morning stating that he planned a trip to the West beginning on Wednesday following his State of the Union address. Currently, the schedule shows4 that he spent time in Nevada on Thursday and then flew to Michigan for an address on Friday morning.During the early afternoon hours on Friday, Obama went to Cambridge, MD and was scheduled to return to the White House at 3:00 p.m. for a 3:30 meeting with Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton5.

Update: Obama Georgia Ballot Eligibility Hearing

January 29, 2012 6 comments

There seems to be some confusion regarding what happened after the 26 January Obama-eligibility Georgia ballot hearings conducted in Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi’s court. Part of the reason for the confusion may be that a seeming mountain of evidence was presented in Sand to the court, along with answers given by expert witnesses as to Mr. Obama’s original and current ineligibility to hold the Office of President of the United States. The problem with his even being allowed to run for the office in the first place appears to be the incontrovertible fact that he was never vetted as to his eligibility. Those who wished to actually check Candidate Obama’s qualifications for the highest post in the USA were defamed and mocked by the media.

Currently, articles claiming that Obama’s name has, already been disallowed from appearing as a presidential candidate on the Georgia ballot are inaccurate. What has, thus far, occurred are the following.

1. During the 26 January hearing, three attorneys (including Atty. Orly Taitz who was the primary attorney and instrumental in bringing this case to the court) brought witnesses and evidence before Judge Malihi’s court strongly suggesting Mr. Obama does not meet the Constitutional requirements to hold the Office of President of the United States of America

2. Prior to the hearing, all three attorneys met with Judge Malihi in his chambers

Why Should the State License Drivers? (“You shouldn’t need a license to drive a car any more than you need one to use a computer or ride a horse”)

January 29, 2012 Leave a comment

WITH MY DRIVER’S LICENSE expiring in February, I made a trip to the Registry of Motor Vehicles last week to renew it. To my astonishment, I was in and out of the RMV branch at the Watertown Mall in just 15 minutes.

From past experience, I had expected much worse. When I renewed my license five years ago — at a facility the Registry whimsically dubbed a “License Express” — I had to wait for an hour and a quarter before being served. An earlier renewal had required two trips to the Registry: The first one proved futile when the clerk shut off the computer at closing time, curtly telling the 11 people in line that they would have to come back another day.

So it was a pleasant surprise when my latest encounter with the Registry proved so quick and painless.

Of course it would have been even more painless to renew my driver’s license online, but when I tried to do so my application was rejected. It turns out the Registry was listing me under multiple records; the system had generated a new one whenever my address changed, and it was unable to merge them — or to issue a new license — unless I appeared in person. “But I’ve lived at the same address for 15 years,” I said to the clerk. He shrugged. “It should be OK next time,” he told me.

Yet why should there have to be a next time? Why should keeping an ordinary driver’s license up to date oblige anyone to deal with a government agency, in person or online? I hadn’t even realized that my license was about to expire until an airport security agent pointed it out to me the last time I flew out of Logan. The Registry no longer sends renewal notices; and woe betide the motorist who gets pulled over with an expired license, an infraction that can trigger a fine of up to $1,000, not to mention a potential arrest.

Try to imagine Visa or Discover requiring you to remember when your credit card is about to expire, and making you get in line at a branch office or go online to renew it. On the contrary: They do the remembering and renew your card automatically. Before the old one expires, you get a new one in the mail. And if there is an anomaly in your account, they typically flag it and alert you right away.

In the private economy, automatic renewals are routine. From Netflix subscriptions to homeowner’s insurance to newspaper delivery, vendors and service providers of every description make it simple to keep your account up-to-date. Your antivirus software and 401(k) investments can be put on autopilot, refreshing at regular intervals unless you choose to opt out. Why shouldn’t your driver’s license work the same way?

Maybe the real question is why the state should license drivers in the first place.

Will Ron Paul Destroy the ‘Party of Lincoln’? (“And Would This Be Bad?”) by Thomas DiLorenzo

January 29, 2012 4 comments

Former Bush administration speechwriter Michael Gerson, who is now a columnist for the company newspaper of the company town known as Washington, D.C., recently authored yet another hysterical neocon rant over the Ron Paul candidacy. Ron Paul is on a “quest to undo the Party of Lincoln,” blared Gerson’s headline. Every freedom-loving, patriotic American can only hope and pray that Ron Paul succeeds.

English: Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth Presid...

Gerson’s tone is dripping with venomous hatred when he accuses Ron Paul of being some kind of nut by calling the Civil War “senseless” and of saying that Lincoln ruled with an iron fist. Generations of historians have also called the Civil War “senseless” or something similar. “The bumbling generation” is how some historians describe the Civil War-era politicians who plunged the nation into war, the most preeminent of whom was Lincoln himself. But when Ron Paul refers to the war in that way what he has in mind is the true historical fact that all other countries of the world that ended slavery in the nineteenth century – including most of the Northern states in the U.S – did so peacefully. The British, French, Spaniards, Dutch, Swedes, Danes, and others ended slavery in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, all of Central America, Mexico, Bolivia, Uruguay, the French and Danish colonies, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela without resorting to the mass murder and destruction of war. (See Jim Powell. Greatest Emancipations: How the West Ended Slavery; Robert Fogel and Stanley Engerman, Time on the Cross: The Economics of American Negro Slavery; and Slavery in New York, published by the New York Historical Society).

Who Commissioned Us to Remake the World? by Patrick J. Buchanan

U.S. Ambassador Michael McFaul, Obama’s man in Moscow, who just took up his post, has received a rude reception. And understandably so.In 1992, McFaul was the representative in Russia of the National Democratic Institute, a U.S. government-funded agency whose mission is to promote democracy abroad.

The NDI has been tied to color-coded or Orange revolutions such as those that dethroned regimes in Serbia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Lebanon.

The project miscarried in Belarus. The NDI is one of several agencies, dating to the 1980s, that were set up to subvert communist regimes. With the end of the Cold War, however, these agencies were not decommissioned, but recommissioned to serve as something of an American Comintern.

Where the old Comintern of Lenin sought to instigate communist revolutions across the West and its empires, post-Cold War America decided to promote democratic revolutions to remake the world in the image of late 20th century America. In 2002, McFaul wrote a book: Russia’s Unfinished Revolution.Vladimir Putin‘s men are not unreasonably asking if he was sent to Moscow to finish that revolution. Putin has already accused Hillary Clinton of flashing the signal for street demonstrations to begin – to protest Russia’s December’s elections.

The Daily Bell – Larken Rose on Taxes, Freedom and Life After Prison

January 29, 2012 1 comment

Introduction: Larken Rose is an outspoken, nationally known proponent of individual liberty, self-ownership and a voluntary society. He lives with his wife and daughter in eastern Pennsylvania and is the author of several books, include The Iron Web and How to be a Successful Tyrant, (The Megalomaniac Manifesto). After spending a year in prison as a result of his beliefs about the US income tax, he just completed another book, The Most Dangerous Superstition. Visit his website for more info (Larkenrose.com).

Daily Bell: Thanks for sitting down with us!

Larken Rose: Thanks for having me.

Daily Bell: Give us some background on yourself.

Larken Rose: Well, I was raised in a conservative, Republican, Christian setting, not just home but the whole town I grew up in. I grew up thinking the Constitution was great, America was great, and that we are free, and everyone else isn’t. Where I was raised, it was popular and easy to see the flawed thinking in what the leftist statists wanted, and to bash the silly, stupid, collectivist ideas that socialists were advocating. But it wasn’t until years later that I began to see that left-wing statism and right-wing statism are two slightly different flavors of the same gigantic lie.

Over the years, by way of reading things and having discussions and arguments about politics, I went from being Constitutionalist to libertarian, and finally to recognizing the belief in government as not just a bad idea but an insane, self-contradictory superstition, start to finish.

My wife and I sort of made the intellectual journey at the same time, talking about stuff, dragging each other further away from statism and toward freedom. Without giving my whole life story here, we got married in 1992, and had a daughter five years later. We took turns being political prisoners in 2006 and 2007 − me for a year, my wife Tessa for a month. Now we’re pretty much full-time enemies of the state, raising our daughter to hopefully be a sane, moral human being while we try to recover from what the parasite class did to us, and try to help other people escape the authoritarian cult indoctrination that almost everyone we know was put through.

Prison Planet.com » Ron Paul: In it to win it

January 29, 2012 22 comments

During this primary season, many political pundits have assumed that Ron Paul is not actively trying to win the Presidency. To them, he is simply a message candidate who has some interesting ideas but no path to the nomination.Dr. Paul is seen as too much of a fringe candidate by the mainstream media and therefore considered unelectable.

The facts, however, say otherwise. This time around, the Ron Paul campaign is more organized, has better advisors, and is actually campaigning to win.Along with establishment candidate Mitt Romney, Ron Paul is the only candidate who was able to get on the ballot in all fifty states. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum will not get enough delegates from the states they have qualified for to receive the Republican nomination.Rick Santorum still has very poor name recognition, and Newt Gingrich is one of the most polarizing political figures of our generation , and he could not even get on the ballot in his home state. In other words, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are the only electable candidates to choose from.

One of the biggest reasons to believe that Congressman Paul intends to win is his age. Running a national campaign is the most stressful, physically draining, and emotionally taxing activity that a politician can undertake, and 76 year old Ron Paul would not be doing it unless he thought there were a chance he could win.

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of paying for President Obama’s campaign speeches. Let him begin spending some of the billion dollars he’s got stashed away for campaign funds. I’m tired of paying for hugely expensive aircraft so Michelle can come and go as she pleases when they take vacations, too… why are taxpayers responsible for her travel? She’s not the President. Let her and her hand servants fly United on their own dime.

One thing became clear to me after the State of the Union speech – which, since I didn’t hear anything factual about the State of the Union (SOTU), turned out to be just another campaign speech paid for by the American taxpayer. The purpose of the SOTU is to inform the people about the state of our nation, not about the hopes, dreams and imaginative campaign promises of a presidential candidate.

What became clear to me is that it’s far less important who is elected President than it is for conservative Republicans to maintain control of the House of Representatives and gain control of the Senate. All of the hoop-la over the presidential race – all of the cannibalistic Republican debates – is being used to divert our attention. No matter which Party wins or loses, we need a Congress strong enough to keep a tight rein on the Executive Branch. Since the precedent of dictating by Executive Order has been established, it becomes imperative for us to be protected from a dictatorial president from any political party.

The Democrats – especially Obama — portray Republicans as uncooperative and as not doing anything to stimulate jobs or heal the economy. The mainstream media aids them in this false portrayal, not publishing facts regarding legislation that has been passed by the Republican-controlled House but ignored by Harry Reid’s Democrat-controlled Senate.

When Eastern Europe broke free in 1989, we all realized just how little thought had been given to the transition from socialism to capitalism. Mises had told us the collapse was coming, and we should have been prepared.

As America comes to resemble a command economy, we need a transition plan here too.

Now that Minneapolis cops have finally nailed Idaho Senator Larry Craig, let it be said that his proclivity is stale news. Craig has routinely been accused of sodomy for at least twenty five years. In fact, Craig’s reputation as a predatory sodomite is so well-established and redundant that I did not bother mentioning him in my new book, Not Holier Than Thou, about the homosexual takeover of the Republicrud Party.

Russia Unveils New Kalashnikov Assault Rifle

January 29, 2012 Leave a comment

Russia‘s largest firearms manufacturer, Izhmash, has unveiled a prototype of its new Kalasnikov assault rifle with improved ergonomics and tactical flexibility.

The new assault rifle, dubbed AK-12, is being designed as a basic platform for the development of nearly 20 different modifications of the weapon. It could be adapted for cartridges varying from 5.45×39 mm to 7.62×51 NATO.

The state tests of the rifle may begin at the end of 2012 despite the fact that the Russian Defense Ministry has not shown interest so far in the new weapon citing the financial difficulties of the Izhmash company and a huge surplus of AK-74 assault rifles (about 17 million) in the Armed Forces.

Izhmash said on Wednesday that the testing of the AK-12 will continue and the company will offer the rifle to foreign customers and Russian police.

Russia’s Interior Ministry has reportedly ordered about a hundred AK-12s for testing by its personnel.

According to Izhmash designers, they “adapted the weapon to modern combat requirements, having preserved Kalashnikov’s unique qualities – simplicity, reliability and relatively low production cost.”

Jesse Jackson Says Gov. Brewer ‘Gave President Obama the Finger’

January 29, 2012 4 comments

Jesse Jackson Says Gov. Brewer ‘Gave President Obama the Finger’ By Mike Bates Created 01/28/2012 – 9:37pm

It was a routine Saturday morning at Rev. Jesse Jackson‘s Rainbow PUSH forum, broadcast nationally on the Word Network. He was all over the map. Jackson trashed Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, Newt Gingrich, and Mitt Romney. He warned that enterprises such as black funeral homes and black insurance companies are “under attack.” He condemned a proposed change in Grammy Award classifications. Jackson also spoke out against Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who, he said, “did the ultimate insult. She put her finger in his (President Barack Obama) face.” Jackson wants people to call and complain (video here):

Also, while it’s on my mind, Gov. Janice K. Brewer, the finger person. Gov. Janice K. Brewer, who gave President Obama the finger, governor of Arizona, call 1 800 253 0883. Keep that line real busy. 1 800 253 0883. We’ll give you the number later a little later today and this week on the email number of her press secretary. We want to keep Arizona. . . until she can put her hands in her pocket and have some good. . . do you know how insulting it is to put your finger in somebody’s face? Try it with the cameras rolling, she knew the cameras.

She knew what she was doing. She was telling him off. She was cutting him down to his size. She must never get away with that. Even George Wallace did not put his finger in Dr. King’s face. Say, enough is enough.

Being the pious, innocent, saintly man he is, perhaps the Most Rev. Jackson deserves a pass. Maybe he doesn’t actually know the difference between giving someone the finger and waving one’s finger in another person’s face. But does he really consider the latter to be “the ultimate insult”? For a man who’s referred to Jews as “Hymies,” said in the last campaign that “Barack’s been talking down to black people” and that he would like to cut Obama’s testicles out, and admitted to, as a young waiter, having spit into the food of white customers he didn’t like, Jackson has a remarkable notion of what comprises the ultimate insult.

MSNBC Runs Viewer Tweet Urging Secret Service to Break Jan Brewer’s Finger, ‘Drop Her’

MSNBC, America’s closest approximation yet to Pravda (though not for lacking of trying, New York Times), did something curious but characteristic Wednesday night during the hour-long hyperventilation known as “The Ed Show.” (video after page break)

The show’s namesake, Ed Schultz, was talking with Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne, who benefits from his appearances with Schultz by looking sane by comparison.

Earlier in the program, Schultz could barely contain his anger over a photo showing Republican Gov. Jan Brewer pointing a finger toward President Obama’s face and appearing to exchange words with him after the president’s arrival in Arizona that day.
