Republicans! Stop Looking for a Messiah!

January 9, 2012 1 comment

In 2008 the voters gave the Oval Office to a man who Rush Limbaugh and others mockingly called “the messiah” for his grandiose rhetoric and promises of change. If the first two primaries are any indication, Republican Party voters seem to be looking for their own messiah, a perfect candidate, and no such person exists.Republicans have to stop seeking their own “messiah” in 2012. Most importantly, the six percent that Rasmussen Reports says are ready to vote for a third party candidate, if one emerges, have got to get their heads screwed on tighter because that’s a margin that could keep Obama in office for four more years.

“I don’t listen to corporate radio very often. However, when I do and a Ron Paul caller is let through the screening process I normal cringe, since they are either an obvious plant and/or kook to allow the host to easily make them look crazy and by extension, Ron Paul. Today when a legitimate Ron Paul supporter slips through it completely, it throws Rush off his game; he becomes very frustrated and he is the one who looks silly.

As far as I’m concerned, the picture speaks for itself. It is the face of self-indulgence. It is the face of dissipation. Soon to become the face of desperation. In medieval times, he would have been given a name such as ‘Obama the Usurper’, or ‘Obama the Destroyer’. Most likely though, the appellation that would stick would have been given to him not by his cronies but by ‘the little people’. And that nomenclature would be ‘Obama the Weak’.Judged objectively, the last three years under Barack Hussein Obama will go down in history as three of the worst years in our history. We’ve been suffering under the depredations of the Obama crowd long enough. It’s time to take the fight against the enemies of freedom to the next level. There has been much speculation about the Tea Party having had its high tide mark with the 2010 takeover of Congress and the wholesale wipe-out that was handed to the Congressional DeMarxists. As a result, the liberal spin meisters on both sides of the aisle have been working overtime to portray the Tea Party Patriots as passé, while endlessly tauting the anointed choice of the liberals and ‘moderates’ who are just another description of liberal, as far as Conservatives are concerned.Wednesday, January 4th saw the advent of what may well turn out to be the final straw for the estimated 60% of Americans who identify themselves as “very conservative” or “somewhat conservative”. Americans have an unusually high tolerance for abuse. I wish it wasn’t so. I think it stems from our indefatigable concept of ‘fairness’. I also think that America’s quotient for political chicanery has reached its limit with Barack Hussein Obama’s usurpation of power not granted to the office of the Chief Executive. With Obama’s violation of Section One, Article Five of the Constitution, we have been given an insight and preview of what another four years of his ‘enlightened’ leadership would be.

ARE COPS CONSTITUTIONAL?

Roger Roots*

ABSTRACT

Police work is often lionized by jurists and scholars who claim to employ “textualist” and “originalist” methods of constitutional interpretation. Yet professional police were unknown to the United States in 1789, and first appeared in America almost a half-century after the Constitution’s ratification. The Framers contemplated law enforcement as the duty of mostly private citizens, along with a few constables and sheriffs who could be called upon when necessary. This article marshals extensive historical and legal evidence to show that modern policing is in many ways inconsistent with the original intent of America’s founding documents. The author argues that the growth of modern policing has substantially empowered the state in a way the Framers would regard as abhorrent to their foremost principles…..

(Jan. 9, 2012) — When I was in the service and traveled around the world, I always asked people what they thought of America, and from the hills of Parthenon to Mt. I used to say “Welcome to the club”, and it’s still that way: our State Dept. always seem to back the wrong side. I used to think that the Ivy Leaguers had some sort of agenda, some sort of Master Plan, but now that I’m older and wiser I now know that they really don’t know what the heck they’re doing.

The level of smear attacks against Ron Paul are getting so transparently agenda-driven that the press is now blaming Paul for spectacles they directly create, such as today’s media swarm in a New Hampshire eatery that forced Paul to abandon a planned meet and greet with voters.

Planning to talk to supporters at Moe Joe’s restaurant this morning, the event turned into a “media scrum” with Paul barely being able to move as he was chased around the restaurant by swarms of photographers.

“Ron Paul: We have you surrounded. We are the media,” a strange man dressed as a wizard with an upside down black boot on his head blurted out through a megaphone.

“Paul decided to grant only one interview at the event, to Fox News’s Brett Baeir. Halfway inside his SUV, Paul took questions for about five minutes from the cable news anchor while reporters strained to hear his answers, then shut the door,” reports the Hill.

Obama the ‘Elder Statesman’?

Interesting, if not downright befitting, that about one year after their arrival at the White House, Alice in Wonderland would be the chosen theme of the Obamas’ secret 2009 Halloween party.

Macho Johnny Depp standing manfully astride an antique linen clothed table playing the Mad Hatter; booze served to revelers in pretend blood vials trumps even Spooky Dude horror stories.

Were the Obamas symbolically celebrating America falling down the Rabbit Hole?

The official White House retort for news of the Halloween party hitting the Internet via a tell-all book is that the event is being exaggerated three years later.

What other “secret” parties have been thrown by Obama and Hollywood friends at the White House during these recessionary times?

It should be no surprise that Obama leaned heavily on Hollywood stage props from the get-go. His first mass public introduction at Denver’s Democratic Convention from the backdrop of Greek columns was our first hint.

The media pundits and the talk radio hosts and their callers have been bending over backwards to label Willard Mitt Romney a “conservative.” They have been desperately trying to fit their ideal of a conservative into Romney like fitting a piece into a puzzle that will never fit – not without a pair of scissors, that is. It is truly Orwellian, this thing with calling a far-left socialist a “conservative.” They might as well call Barack Obama a “conservative.”

In addition to that, many people are trying to find a Republican who is “electable,” someone who can beat Obama in the November, 2012 election. But if Romney does become the Republican nominee and then wins the election, then what? Given that he is bought and paid for by Wall Street, do you really believe that Romney will do anything to fix the underlying causes of our current economic depression (central banking, the Fed, the collusions between Wall Street and the U.S. government, the government’s expansionist empire abroad and deficit spending and ever-increasing debt)? Given what a tax-raiser he was as governor, do you really believe Romney will not be exactly like George H.W. Bush and Bush Jr. in caving like a jellyfish to the Capitol Hill big spenders?…..

On the basis of rather scant evidence, Huntsman was quick to finger supporters of rival candidate Ron Paul. When Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne introduces the Dodge Dart compact car this week, he will be showing off the first example of what a merger between Chrysler group LLC and Italy’s Fiat SpA can create.

The 2013 Dart — to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show — is based on a Fiat-engineered platform that also will serve as the basis for the next generation of Jeep SUVs.

With the Dart, Chrysler aims to take market share from Toyota Motor Corp’s Corolla and Honda Motor Co’s Civic in an area the U.S. automaker has traditionally fallen short.

Barack Obama - NDAA Legacy

Yet you hear almost nothing in the propaganda media about the final nail in the coffin of the Republic. Legalizing a draconian police state is in place. Burning the final copy of the Bill of Rights accomplished at last. Finally, the goal of inflicting universal fear in the minds of every American who still possesses the ability of critical thinking is now complete. Will anyone care about the interment of citizens in the entombment of maximum security prisons? The NDAA leaves no doubt. No one is safe.

Ask E.D. Kain, who writes in Forbes,

“If Obama does one thing for the remainder of his presidency let it be a veto of the National Defense Authorization Act – a law recently passed by the Senate which would place domestic terror investigations and interrogations into the hands of the military and which would open the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists.”

Well, we know that Obama signed this draconian edict into law. The intention of this legislation is to eradicate the constitution. Jonathan Turley writes in the Guardian, The NDAA’s historic assault on American liberty, agrees.

Iran has the ability to block the Strait of Hormuz “for a period of time,” and the U.S. would take action to reopen it, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman General Martin Dempsey said.

“They’ve invested in capabilities that could, in fact, for a period of time block the Strait of Hormuz,” Dempsey said in an interview aired yesterday on the CBS “Face the Nation” program. “We’ve invested in capabilities to ensure that if that happens, we can defeat that.”

Should Iran try to close Hormuz, the U.S. “would take action and reopen” the waterway, said Dempsey, President Barack Obama’s top military adviser.

Blocking the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic shipping lane linking the Gulf of Oman with the Persian Gulf, would constitute a “red line” for the U.S., as would Iranian efforts to build a nuclear weapon, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said on the same program.

2008 scandal saw votes for Paul go uncounted

Paul Joseph Watson

Prison Planet.com

Monday, January 9, 2012

Given allegations of vote fraud in Iowa last week, in addition to the documented case of uncounted votes for Ron Paul during the 2008 New Hampshire primary, concerns are again running high amongst Ron Paul supporters that their candidate could be cheated out of a strong finish in Tuesday’s caucuses with the aid of notoriously suspect Diebold voting machines.

Will Diebold Voting Machines Cheat Ron Paul Out Of 2nd Place In New Hampshire?

Although Mitt Romney is expected to comfortably win the primary tomorrow, current polls show Ron Paul maintaining a strong second place.

However, such polls counted for little in 2008, when despite Barack Obama’s huge 13 point lead over Hillary Clinton going into the Democratic primary, Clinton ended up winning by 3 per cent.

Ron Paul also found himself on the wrong end of suspected vote fraud when election officials in districts such as Sutton reported that Paul had received zero votes, despite numerous individuals immediately going public and asserting they had voted for Paul. Officials later had to admit that 31 votes for Paul in Sutton alone had not been counted due to “human error”.

In districts that used notoriously unreliable Diebold voting machines, Paul also received significantly less votes than establishment candidate Rudy Giuliani, despite beating him on votes case by paper ballot. Huge disparities between votes cast on Diebold electronic voting machines and actual hand counted tallies for the Democratic primary also emerged during the New Hampshire recount.

Mitt Romney profited the most from the Diebold swing in 2008, he received 7% more votes compared to hand counted ballots.

Paul supporters speculate that just as Rick Santorum enjoyed an astounding last minute surge in Iowa to take second place and enable the media to keep Ron Paul out of the headlines, John Huntsman will be used for the same purpose in New Hampshire.

“New Hampshire still uses the same institutionally vulnerable Diebold electronic voting machines as in 2008,” writes Dave Trotter . “So the odds of GOP establishment chicanery are even higher than in Iowa. After all, the establishment that Ron Paul threatens remains firmly in control of the levers and dials of the pollsters and the voting machines.”

A d v e r t i s e m e n t

“If Huntsman indeed serves the role of Romney-enabler in New Hampshire, as the new-new Flavor of the Month for the soon-to-be deposed Santorum, expect for him to yield to yet another establishment candidate by South Carolina. Perhaps Perry makes a momentary resurgence?”

Concerns about vote fraud being used to disenfranchise Ron Paul flared in Iowa last week after Republican strategist Dee Dee Benkie said GOP insiders had told her they would prevent Ron Paul winning the primary, namely by making sweetheart deals with voting blocs that would favor other candidates.

After the final vote tally was conducted at a secret undisclosed location, allegations of fraud emerged courtesy of a Ron Paul supporter in Appanoose County, who told an Iowa TV station that he believed there was a 20-vote discrepancy in the numbers he recorded from his caucus and the numbers that the Iowa Republican Party reported.

“When Mitt Romney won Iowa by eight votes and I’ve got a 20-vote discrepancy here, that right there says Rick Santorum won Iowa,” Edward True told KCCI TV. “Not Mitt Romney.”

Just why he was deemed the “frontrunner” before even a single vote had been cast is a mystery known only to the professional pundits, who seem to have bestowed this title on him because of his perfect hair and his perfectly unauthentic persona. Romney is the Stepford Candidate, robotically repeating those phrases which are expected of him with all the conviction of a simulacrum. Which leads one to wonder: how can this preprogrammed human automaton ever hope to defeat the personable and relatively authentic Obama?

For those with more imagination, the victor in this fight has been Rick Santorum, whose surge toward the end put him within a dozen or so votes of Romney. Hours after the results were announced, we were treated to the sight of breathless commentators anointing a candidate with no money and no real conservative credentials as the One True Anti-Romney who could snatch the crown from Mitt’s brow.

By his actions in bypassing Congress and making appointments that should be subject to Senate approval while the Senate is still in session and innumerable extra-constitutional actions since he became president, he is following in the footsteps of the despots who dominated the 20th century.

In late September of 2008, it became clear to me that Barack Obama would be elected president. Based on his background, education, motivation, and indoctrination, I saw a man who could single-handedly destroy the country and someone with no respect for the history, the Constitution, or the people of the United States. The specter of a megalomaniac who was a stranger to the truth and would or say or do anything to achieve or retain power overcame me. In Barack Obama and his fellow travelers, I saw what I feared the most since I came to this country: a person and a political mindset that would, if allowed, spell the end of the noblest experiment in the history of mankind.

It was at that point that I wrote my first article for American Thinker in an attempt to warn the people of America that the result of the 2008 election would be critical to the nation’s survival. This was the first column I had written since my college days over 40+ years before, and I am eternally grateful to AT for publishing it and giving me a forum to speak to the American people.

I had to survive a war that was precipitated by those who were initially elected by the people in a democratic fashion. Yet once in power, they began to systematically usurp and overthrow the rule of law. Their lust for power led them to shred any written constitution or traditions as they systematically imposed new regulations, laws, and executive orders geared primarily to centralize authority in the government as individual rights and liberties were extinguished. In due course, they and their cronies became the government, as the people were powerless to stop them.

Intellectually speaking, we live in fascinating, if dangerous, times. Given a larger view of history, it should be understood that nations, political systems, and currencies come and go on a fairly regular basis. Human freedom is an exception — not the norm.

There are four core components necessary for the existence of an independent, sovereign nation: A system of laws (constitutional or otherwise,) geographical borders, a sound monetary system, and a defensive function.

Presently, the United States is failing (or trending toward failure) on the first three counts. Failure on two or more will lead to a failure of the fourth (national defense.) Capitalism notwithstanding, could it be that this is what Russia, China, and the emerging Islamic Caliphate want? Or what George Soros wants?

It is for this reason that I support Ron Paul for POTUS. Yes, detractors of Paul’s foreign policy may have legitimate gripes — in particular his seeming failure to understand that radical Islamists cannot be disincentivized in the same way that Soviet Communists could.

Marines, Why Do You Do This to Your Families? by Laurence M. Vance

January 9, 2012 Leave a comment

From September 27, 2010, to April 11, 2011, the approximately 1,000 Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment, based at Camp Pendleton, and known as the “Darkhorse” Battalion, suffered the loss of 25 men in the Sangin district of Helmand province in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. An estimated 470 enemy fighters were killed. A favorable ratio to be sure, but still 495 deaths too many.

Beginning this past October 30 and ending on November 5, NPR Pentagon correspondent Tom Bowman did a seven-part series for All Things Considered on the Darkhorse Battalion called “‘Darkhorse’ Battalion and the Afghan War.” Here is how the series was introduced:

A year ago, nearly 1,000 U.S. Marine officers and enlisted men of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment deployed to restive Helmand province in southern Afghanistan. By the time their tour ended in April 2011, the Marines of the 3/5 – known as “Darkhorse” – suffered the highest casualty rate of any Marine unit during the past 10 years of war. Job Creators Hate Internet Bill

I noted last month that SOPA would destroy jobs and the economy.

As Digital Trends points out:

The list of SOPA opponents also includes 425 venture capitalists and entrepreneurs — i.e. job creators. The editorial boards of The New York Times and Los Angeles Times are on the list, as are 39 public advocacy groups, nonprofits and think tanks who believe that SOPA will stifle freedom of speech. These are joined by 61 international human rights groups, and 116 academics and law experts from the nation’s top law schools. In short: The list of SOPA critics could not be any more legitimate.

And see this.

Prison Planet.com » Santorum Brazenly Promotes More War and Destabilization

Just before the Iowa Caucus, I saw a graphic floating around the Internet which showed all of the Republican candidates together along with a tag that read, “If you supported Bachmann, then Romney, then Cain, then Gingrinch, and now you’re supporting Santorum – You might be getting spoonfed by the media.” I couldn’t agree more.

It is an unfortunate reality that those who pass for being informed in this country, meaning those who are strict adherents to the doctrines and dictates of political parties and the reporting of the mainstream media, are often much less informed than those who simply no longer care. At least those who no longer care are capable of recognizing there is something fundamentally flawed with both parties and that the entire election system is rigged.

I, myself, have known many Republicans (and Democrats when their elections roll around) who have explained to me which candidate they were supporting and why — their candidates and reasoning ironically following the same order as the Internet picture I mentioned above and directly regurgitate the propaganda given to them by FOX, CNN, or whatever other bastion of disinformation they are being led by.

The most recent media darling, Rick Santorum, whose very questionable “surge” just two days before the Iowa caucus when no one had previously given him even a passing glance, is no exception. Therefore, for the benefit of the easily duped, it might prove useful to take a second look at Rick Santorum.

Let us begin by taking a brief look at Santorum’s lunatic foreign policy…..

On the Sunday, January 8 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex talks about the rapidly escalating situation in the Persian Gulf as Iran declares it will block the vital waterway if the European Union decides to embargo its oil and the U.S. and Britain steam warships to the area for a confrontation. Jesse Ventura responds from Mexico to the smear campaign and lies designed to destroy his reputation. Alex also talks about the GOP debate last night and Ron Paul’s performance.

Prison Planet.com » CBS Reporter Blatantly Excludes Ron Paul From Coverage

January 9, 2012 11 comments

Despite the fact that Ron Paul is polling in second place in New Hampshire, and rapidly closing the gap on Mitt Romney, according to the latest polls, one CBS reporter did her best to convince viewers that Paul does not even exist.

Ron Paul, member of the United States House of...

It’s a familiar picture for Paul supporters who have had to watch over and over as mainstream media talking heads and pundits have consistently either laughed off the Texas Congressman’s chances for GOP nominee or simply excluded Paul from their coverage altogether.

However, within the past few weeks, the networks were forced to begin taking Paul seriously as he began consistently polling in first and second ahead of the Iowa caucuses, eventually finishing third in what was essentially a three way tie.

Going into New Hampshire and ahead of two debates this weekend, Paul was polling in strong second, as he has been for some time. However, That did not stop CBS political correspondent Jan Crawford from showing graphics and talking about recent polling, without even mentioning Paul’s numbers or even that he was involved in the race at all.

Crawford even used a graphic referencing a Suffolk University Poll of New Hampshire voters, omitting Paul’s numbers, even though he came second, and was the only candidate other than Mitt Romney to poll in double figures.

Watch the video:

The video went viral over the weekend, with Paul supporters bombarding CBS with complaints.

“Your lack of integrity as a journalist is no longer in question, it is fact.” wrote on critic on Crawford’s Facebook page.

“Blatant manipulation of data to fabricate a news story instead of doing your job to report it disgusts me. Thank you, Jan Crawford, You make me feel like a better person,” the commenter added.

Prison Planet.com » Ventura: Navy SEAL ‘Punch’ Hoax May be Retribution For Supporting Ron Paul

January 9, 2012 4 comments

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura tells the Alex Jones Show that the hoax story about Navy SEAL Chris Kyle punching him in a bar, an incident which never happened, may be part of an establishment backlash against Ventura for supporting presidential candidate Ron Paul.

The controversy began last week when US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle appeared on numerous television shows, primarily to brag about how many Iraqis he had killed as a sniper and to promote his new book.

Kyle claims that he met Ventura in a bar in Coronado in 2006 while Ventura was in town to speak to a new class of SEAL graduates at nearby Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Also present were family members holding a wake for Michael Mansoor, one of the first SEALs killed in Iraq. Kyle claims Ventura began loudly objecting to the war in Iraq before calling the troops “murderers” and saying “we deserved to lose a few guys”.

Kyle then claims he punched Ventura, knocked him to the floor, and quickly fled the scene.

Ron Paul: ‘Israel should be the Hong Kong of the Middle East

At a campaign event that drew more than 300 people here late Sunday afternoon, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) defended his Israel policy in response to a question from an undecided voter, an answer that included, in part, the suggestion that Israel “should be the Hong Kong of the Middle East.”

“I would want to maintain very close relations with Israel,” Paul said. “I’d want to be a good friend of Israel. And I also want to respect them in many ways that I do not think the United States should undermine their sovereignty in any way.”

He went on to defend his position that the United States should not provide foreign aid to Israel and should not “tell them what to do.”

“If they want to have a peace treaty with their neighbors and they think they can work it out, they shouldn’t have to ask us for permission,” Paul said. “They shouldn’t have to ask us permission to defend their borders. That should be their business. But also, I do not believe that I should take money from anybody here and send money to Israel.”

He then rounded out his answer with the Hong Kong comparison. “We should be friends,” he said. “We should trade with them. I would encourage them to become the Hong Kong of the Middle East, or something like that. You know, have a really affluent society.”

White House threw secret ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ bash during recession{Press covered up since 2009}

A White House “Alice in Wonderland” costume ball — put on by Johnny Depp and Hollywood director Tim Burton — proved to be a Mad-as-a-Hatter idea that was never made public for fear of a political backlash during hard economic times, according to a new tell-all.

…It was so over the top that “Star Wars” creator George Lucas sent the original Chewbacca to mingle with invited guests.

…the State Dining Room had also been transformed into a secretive White House Wonderland.

…“Fruit punch was served in blood vials at the bar. Burton’s own Mad Hatter, the actor Johnny Depp, presided over the scene in full costume, standing up on a table to welcome everyone in character.”

The Obamas’ daughters, Malia and Sasha, then 11 and 8 respectively, “sat at the table, surrounded by a gaggle of their friends, and then proceeded to the next delight, a magic show in the East Room.”

The Top 5 Reasons Obama Must Be Removed as Commander-in-Chief

Commander in Chief (video game)

Image via Wikipedia

Obama recently signed a mysterious new law that proclaims all American soil is a “battleground,” thereby allowing the president to indefinitely detain any American citizen without charges. Critics fear Obama will use his fun new unconstitutional powers to make his political enemies disappear, but that may not be necessary.

The way things are going, most patriotic Americans will soon be six feet under, felled by apoplectic strokes brought on by reading the latest outrage committed by our “Commander in Chief.” He may not have a limit to what he’ll inflict; but our collective blood pressure may have a limit to what we can bear.

With each passing hour, the question becomes not if America can survive a second term, but whether we can survive another day. It’s not just the $15 trillion in debt, the Muslim Brotherhood in the catbird seat, and our bleeding open border. It’s the never-ending deliberate assaults against our safety and security laughingly committed by the cold-eyed man with the nuclear code.

Here are the top 5 reasons Obama must be removed as Commander-in-Chief. Please read them while seated.

ONE – LightSquared: If we had an actual media, you should be able to wake up an average fourth grader at 3 AM and ask, “Who’s General William Shelton?” and the fourth grader would chirpily recite: “He’s the Air Force Commander who was pressured by the White House to change his testimony about LightSquared.”
