MANCHESTER, New Hampshire—Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign called on the rest of the Republican field to drop out of the race and unite behind him in order to defeat Mitt Romney.

“We urge Ron Paul’s opponents who have been unsuccessfully trying to be the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney to unite by getting out of the race and uniting behind Paul’s candidacy,” campaign chair Jesse Benton said in a statement.

Ice Age “News” is Wrong—It’s Coming Sooner Than Later

January 10, 2012 Leave a comment

When you consider the millions of words published as “news” about global warming, a massive hoax based on the theory that an increase in the Earth’s levels of carbon dioxide (CO2), a minor atmospheric gas (0.0380%), it boggles the mind that reporters for a respected newswire, Reuters, would still be writing utter rubbish about it.

Just as the “news” about global warming was demolished in 2009 and again in 2011 with the leaked emails of the conspirators behind the fictions of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the main agency behind the hoax, on January 9, Nina Chesney of Reuters London Bureau, reported about a paper in the journal, Nature Geoscience, that the “Next Ice Age not likely before 1,500 years: study.”

The paper claimed that “Concentrations of the main gases blamed for global warming reached record levels in 2010 and will linger in the atmosphere for decades even if the world stopped pumping out emissions today, according to the U.N.’s weather agency.”

The U.N. does not have a “weather agency.” It has a propaganda agency devoted in its own words to “climate.” The two are not the same. Weather is what is occurring right now and climate is the measurement of trends over centuries.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary Tuesday night, adding to a first-place finish in last week’s Iowa caucuses and establishing himself as the man to beat for the Republican presidential nomination.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul led former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman for second place, with Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum trailing.

WHY THEY ARE AFRAID OF JESSE VENTURA | Veterans Today

January 10, 2012 Leave a comment

Fox News is continually reporting that former Governor/SEAL/UDT Jesse Ventura, was “beaten senseless” in a bar brawl in 2006 by a SEAL. The story goes that Ventura said “more SEALS need to die.”

English: Image of Gov Jesse Ventura

Image via Wikipedia

From that second onward, I knew I was listening to pure unadulterated bull from a carefully coached neocon stooge using his military service to sell out his country. There is no bigger veteran supporter than Jesse Ventura. There is also no bigger enemy to the crooks that have used our military against our own country than Ventura.

This is why Jesse is the real hero and why he is feared.

THE MOST POWERFUL SINGLE PIECE OF JOURNALISM IN AMERICAN HISTORY

YouTube – Veterans Today -

The claim by a Kris Kyle seems a bit hollow. Those who know Jesse claim he never would have said it. The story goes like this, back in 2006, Jesse Ventura went into a bar he frequents in Coronado, CA. This “Kyle” character says Jesse was “badmouthing the war. The mythology begins:

Kyle then claims he decked Ventura, a former pro-wrestler, and “ran out of the building.” The run part I understand. Everything else is unsupported. What is supported is that “Kyle” has a book out claiming he is a great war hero, a sniper who killed hundreds of “insurgents” in Afghanistan.

I know a bit about stuff. Part of my time in Vietnam was spent as a sniper. In real life, and this is how we have to be, snipers are seen as “backshooting cowards” by the rest of the military. Even with the old equipment we had, I could hit 3 people, “pink mist,” before they knew it from so far away it would take them an hour to get there, terrain as it is.

I didn’t like it, it felt “dishonorable” to me but this is just my opinion. I never had to walk a hundred miles to kill an NVA general and evade trackers for weeks, like I read in books that I suspect are 99% fiction.

Rep. Dr. Ron Paul is the only Candidate now running who:

1.) Has a comprehensive platform that will cut BASELINE Federal spending.

2.) Insists that all of the planks in his platform are consistent with the US Constitution.

3.) Accepts the fact that the USA can no longer financially afford to be the World’s policeman.

4.) Fully understands how to dismantle the disastrous Federal medical “entitlements” of Medicare, Medicaid, and the illegal Obama”care.”

5.) Has a comprehensive plan to abolish or dramatically shrink 5 Federal Departments, or Bureaus.

These positions set Dr. Paul apart from the rest of the Candidates who stubbornly cling to the time-honored traditions of “The Bipartisan Cave-In” by the RINO Political Party. (Democrats NEVER cave-in, but they still call it Bipartisan.)

I enjoy reading about the furor caused by Ron Paul rocking the boat. Paul offers a clear philosophical break to the leadership of the RINO Party, and thus has triggered the fear emotion of “fight or flight” among many faithful RINOs.

Four years from now, Senator Rand Paul will probably run for POTUS. Watch closely this year, and compare what you see to what Rand will be saying 4 years from now.

In their cover piece, “Ron Paul on the 2012 Trail: 1,000 points of darkness,” which was released just hours before the first votes were cast in the crucial New Hampshire Republican primary, follows Ron Paul’s stump speeches and concludes that Paul’s view of America is that of a dark place where freedom is but a memory.

“It’s a nation that permits the assassination of private citizens, a place where the military can arrest you at will. The unemployment rate is higher than officials let on. The economy is careening toward crisis. Violent street demonstrations are on the horizon. The government edges toward tyranny and dictatorship,” opens the POLITICO piece. “Welcome to Ron Paul’s America.”

The authors criticize Paul for his rhetoric and contrast his campaign to that of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman’s campaign speeches. Huntsman is perhaps the Democrat’s most beloved Republican presidential candidate and is poised to outperform expectations in New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Prison Planet.com » What’s Really Going On In IA, NH and SC?

January 10, 2012 2 comments

Despite what you see about who “won” Iowa and who “won” New Hampshire and who “won” South Carolina, that’s not the main function of these very early contests. What they are really about is culling down the field, promptly, and this is not really based on who wins.

New Hampshire, and to a lesser extent Iowa and South Carolina, play a disproportionate role in removing your choice of candidates in the primary. While you watch the horse race in these three states, understand that if you live in any other state, you are going to have fewer candidate choices, or no chance to vote on the candidate of your choice at all.

IT’S ABOUT EXPECTATIONS, NOT WINNING

If a candidate “exceeds expectations” built by TV punditry and whichever poll is being quoted at the time, three things happen:

(Col SELLIN) Obama’s Ineligibility: Our Last Chance to Save America| The Post & Email

January 10, 2012 15 comments

Like many Americans, initially, all of this was way too much for me to believe. I could not comprehend corruption so deep and broad. I was trained as a scientist (Ph.D. in physiology). I am not an adherent to conspiracy theories and never have been. I am simply following where the facts seem to lead.

Obama is, however, not my main concern. It is the endemic corruption in Washington, D.C., both Republican and Democrat, which has facilitated Obama’s rise to power. To me Obama is simply the most egregious example of that corruption and just the tip of the iceberg.

I believe that Obama needs to be brought down legally before the 2012 election, which will go a long way to end corruption in Washington, D.C. because the bipartisan corruption will then be fully exposed to the American people.

New Hampshire lawmakers question Obama’s citizenship

The Washington Times ^ | 1/9/12 | Dave Boyer

CONCORD, N.H. — President Obama is on the Democratic ballot for New Hampshire’s primary on Tuesday, despite the efforts of some Republican state legislators who argue the president doesn’t qualify as a “natural-born citizen.”

“I don’t know where he was born, and I really don’t care,” said state Rep. Larry Rappaport of Colebrook, N.H., “but I think fraud is being perpetrated on the citizens of New Hampshire.”

Mr. Rappaport and several GOP colleagues have been trying to get the New Hampshire secretary of state to remove Mr. Obama from the ballot. Their argument isn’t focused on the old question of the president’s birthplace, but on a clause in the U.S. Constitution that requires a candidate to be a “natural-born citizen.”

The Republican legislators and their supporters say Mr. Obama doesn’t meet the definition of “natural-born citizen” because his father was Kenyan. They are relying on an 1875 Supreme Court decision that said a natural-born citizen is someone whose parents are both U.S. citizens at the time of his or her birth.

January 10, 2012 Leave a comment

One of the unique things about the Constitution of the United States was that it guaranteed certain rights for its citizens. Those rights provided the foundation for an era of freedom and prosperity that was pretty much unprecedented in human history and dozens of other nations eventually copied many of the ideas contained in our Constitution and Bill of Rights because they worked so well. Of course our system never functioned perfectly, but when you compare it to what has gone on for most of human history, it truly was a bright light in a sea of oppression and totalitarianism. West must wake up to Islamic threat

Washington Examiner ^ | 1-10-12 | Cal Thomas

LISBON, Portugal — When the Republican presidential candidates tire of bashing each other, perhaps they will start addressing the expansion of radical Islam. Only Rick Santorum raised the issue in last Saturday’s debate in New Hampshire.

Next door in Spain, two new satellite TV stations recently signed on. They won’t be airing “Judge Judy,” but instead are broadcasting Islamic theology and political propaganda.

It was not coincidental that the launch of Islamic TV in Spain coincided with Christmas. One of the early broadcasts featured a story, from Islam’s perspective, on the Virgin Mary and the birth of Jesus. Not surprisingly, it differs significantly from the biblical account with which even secular Americans are familiar.

One channel is called Hispan TV and its program content is produced in Iran. That should be warning enough. One of their shows is called “Debate Abierto,” or “Open Debate.”

The Iranian government sponsors the program, which, according to Soeren Kern, a senior fellow at the Strategic Studies Group in Madrid, “will focus on spreading Shiite Islam” in Spain and Latin America.

Some may have seen the clip, run by at least one network – CBS – showing John McCain campaigning for his “good buddy” Mitt Romney in New Hampshire on Wednesday, January 4 – the day following the Iowa caucuses.

How ironic, considering.Article II, Section 1, Clause 5, United States Constitution, requires that candidates for the office of president be natural born defined by Vattel’s Law of Nations as being born on the soil of the country of parents who are citizens of that country. In terms of the United States, that would mean the candidate would have to be born on American soil of parents who were both Americans.

Devvy Kidd — Quo Warranto filed by presidential candidate

NewsWithViews.com

Montgomery Blair Sibley is a candidate for president. He contacted me a couple of years ago to let me know he was going to file a Quo Warranto to remove Obama/Soetoro from office at the appropriate time.

Sibley has quite a family history (view here) and was the attorney who represented, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, dubbed the DC Madam. Her life tragically ended, allegedly, by hanging herself. Many believe she was murdered to keep the secrets buried.

The filed Quo Warranto can be read here.

Over the years I’ve written many columns on the eligibility issue regarding the putative president trying to bring all of us the research that was being done regarding the problem with Barry Soetoro’s citizenship, what natural born citizen means and so forth. Sounding like a broken record, I’ve always believed Leo Donofrio had it right regarding removing Obama/Soetoro from office using the Quo Warranto statute.

Prison Planet.com » Copyright Lawyers Oppose SOPA … And Say It Won’t Even Work

January 10, 2012 1 comment

Many experts have said that the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA) are not only draconian, but that they fail to address the root problem.

A former intellectual property law school professor points out:

[SOPA and PIPA] aim to curb online copyright piracy … but end up using a sledgehammer, when a fine scalpel is instead needed.

***

As reported by Forbes, the Atlantic Monthly and others, coders are already developing work-arounds to SOPA and PIPA. For example, a developer using the alias “Tamer Rizk” launched DeSopa, an add-on for the popular Firefox browser that would allow users to visit sites blocked by the proposed copyright protection measures proposed under SOPA. So not only these bills are not only draconian, but they won’t work.

Prison Planet.com » Ex-adviser: Obama ready to strike to stop Iran

Dennis Ross says US president has “made it very clear” that he would be willing to use force if necessary.

No one should doubt that US President Barack Obama is prepared to use military force to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon if sanctions and diplomacy fail, the president’s former special assistant on Iran said Monday.

Obama has “made it very clear” that he regards a nuclear-armed Iran as so great a threat to international security that “the Iranians should never think that there’s a reluctance to use the force” to stop them, Dennis Ross, who served two years on Obama’s National Security Council and a year as US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s special adviser on Iran, said in an interview.

Prison Planet.com » Huntsman Supporters Admit Creating ‘Racist’ Video To Smear Ron Paul?

January 10, 2012 4 comments

A Jon Huntsman forum appears to show Huntsman supporters bragging about how they created a racist anti-Huntsman ad that the media instantly attributed to Ron Paul supporters in order to smear Paul and his voters as extremists.

However, the forum thread could just as easily be a satire, created by Ron Paul supporters, Huntsman voters, or someone with no interest in either candidate.

The lesson to take away from it all is not to believe that one anonymous Internet post represents any one candidate or campaign, which is just what the establishment media did when they instantly seized upon the suspicious anti-Huntsman ad to smear Ron Paul voters and by extension Ron Paul himself as racist.

The forum thread, entitled, ‘The paulbots are going crazy with our video’, states, “I cant believe how stupid these people are. As campaign insiders many of you are aware we created the fake video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZeVqj-t1U0 and made it look like it came from the ron paul people. This is a suprise it went viral. And the good news is paul is getting blamed for it.”

“My goodness this is turning out better than expected. I was on the phone today with the campaign and they have another one coming out monday.”

Timothy N. Baldwin — A Response to JB Williams’ Article on Ron Paul

January 10, 2012 9 comments

J.B. William’s article attacking Ron Paul, released on December 30, 2011 on NewsWithViews.com, perhaps deserves (I use the word loosely) a response. Williams’ assumes a lot and qualifies virtually nothing. He takes for granted the meaning and understanding of words like “conservative” and “liberal” and uses them to pigeon hole politics and pit people against Ron Paul. It is this kind of miniscule attention to detail that spreads misinformation and disinformation masqueraded as “fact.”

Let us consider Williams’ attacks on Ron Paul in order, and I will offer a critique for the sake of integrity in journalism and truth in politics.

1. Williams says, “Ron Paul remains totally MIA (Missing In Action) on Obama’s Article II ineligibility, which disqualifies Obama for office and every member of congress, including Ron Paul!”

This is a useless tool against Ron Paul and benefits no voters. There is not one Republican candidate taking on this issue.

One has to ask, what difference does it make that Ron Paul is not leading the charge in this regard? If no one is taking on this issue as a part of their campaign, then everyone’s score is “zero to zero.” Williams’ use of “fact” is a tongue-in-cheek, sarcastic jab at Ron Paul as a “constitutionalist.” But this jab can be made universally to all the candidates; thus, this information is useless and irrelevant to persuade the voters and distinguish the candidates.
