Pissed off Marines | Veterans Today
As many of you already know, I volunteer at the “National Veterans Hotline” a few nights per month.
The hotline website can be found at http://www.Veterans911.com Last night, I was on duty for close to four hours and during that time I talked to over twenty callers. 90% of the callers had something to say about the story of Marines pissing on the dead Taliban. Here are some of the comments I heard and then some of the emails I recieved since the incident of Marines pissing on Taliban.
The Ron Paul Paradox: GOP Questions His Impact
The Ron Paul Paradox: GOP Questions His ImpactNPR ^ | Jan. 13, 2012 | David WelnaPosted on Friday, January 13, 2012 7:21:27 PM by La EnchiladitaFour years ago, Texas Rep. Ron Paul finished fifth in the New Hampshire presidential primary with just under 8 percent of the vote.On Tuesday, he got nearly 23 percent of the vote in the New Hampshire primary, finishing second to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the Republican contest. That came a week after Paul’s third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.Paul has done better than any Republican presidential contender not named Romney, and his success is part of the buzz at the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting in New Orleans, which runs through Saturday. Some are surprised by his showing. Some are happy about his success. And some are worried that Paul’s allure — he’s attracting support from outside the Republican Party by advocating everything from legalizing marijuana to immediately withdrawing U.S. forces from Afghanistan — could influence him to eventually consider a third-party bid for the White House.Excerpt Read more at npr.org …

If you are a conservative and believe in their principles, you may be upset with Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry. Their vicious attacks on Mitt Romney and capitalism have been relentless, and the fallout is just beginning. Perry has lost a top supporter in Barry Wynn who hates the anti-capitalism rhetoric. Gingrich has garnered sharp criticism from Republican heavy weights like Rush Limbaugh and Rudy Giuliani.

Interviews with New Hampshire voters on Tuesday gave a glimpse into the issues that drew these newcomers to a campaign that has been trying to gain mainstream support for its message since Paul first ran for president in 1988.
Most said they were initially drawn to one element of Paul’s platform, but came to support the rest of it later.
‘Painfully, Very Slowly’
One voter, James Kelley, said he supported Paul at first because he seemed like the only candidate who was serious about cutting taxes and spending. But as he researched Paul’s platform, he found himself reconsidering his hawkish foreign-policy views.
“Before him, I was basically like, nuke the Middle East and get it over with,” Kelley said. “I started hearing what he was saying, and painfully, very slowly, I was like, yeah, actually, it makes sense.”
ED RIVERA. How The Constitution Came To Be…(ExcerpT w/Backlink)
George Washington became President of the United States of America on April 6, 1789, when the Article II, Section 1 Presidential Voting Certificates were unsealed and the Votes were counted before Congress.
As President of the May 25, 1787 Constitutional Convention, Washington knew the Constitution of September 17, 1787 implemented Article IX and X of the Articles of Confederation of November 15, 1777 by creating a Senate as a Committee of States and the Office of President of the United States of America as its executive Officer. Neither the Articles of Confederation nor the Constitution of September 17, 1787 required the President of the United States of America to swear or affirm an oath to retain that Office.
On April 30, 1789, George Washington took the following oath, knowing those present at the oath taking ceremony and Office inauguration would believe it to be an oath “to support this Constitution” rather than what it was, an oath merely to take an Office of employment: “I, George Washington, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” “So help me God.”
At the exact moment George Washington took the oral oath to the Office of President of the United States, he transformed the Constitution of September 17, 1787 into the Constitution of the United States for as long as he held the Office of President of the United States.
JB Williams — Why Ron Paul is Unelectable
First, I must state that I deeply appreciate and applaud the passion and energy of the Ron Paul campaign and their undying loyalty to the concepts that his supporters believe Ron represents. No campaign is as focused and energetic as the Ron Paul campaign which actually began all the way back in 2008 and has persisted ever since.

US preparing for every option on Iran | EUTimes.net
US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro has described Iran as a regional threat, saying Washington will resort to “all necessary means” to stop Tehran’s nuclear program.
“We’ve said and I say again that all options are open … President (Barack) Obama clearly and consistently says that he will do everything and resort to all necessary means to prevent Iran from producing nuclear weapons, and he means every word,” Shapiro said in an interview with the Hebrew-language daily Ma’ariv, Xinhua reported.
The US and Israel have repeatedly threatened Tehran with the “option” of a military strike, based on the allegation that Iran’s nuclear work may consist of a covert military aspect.
They have also used this allegation as a pretext to sway the UN Security Council to impose four rounds of sanctions on Iran.

(“Such “cognitive infiltration,” Sunstein argued, should be used to enforce a U.S. government ban on “conspiracy theorizing.””)Obama czar proposed government ‘infiltrate’ social network sites
Just prior to his appointment as President Obama’s so-called regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein wrote a lengthy academic paper suggesting the government should “infiltrate” social network websites, chat rooms and message boards.
Such “cognitive infiltration,” Sunstein argued, should be used to enforce a U.S. government ban on “conspiracy theorizing.”
Among the beliefs Sunstein classified as a “conspiracy theory” is advocating that the theory of global warming is a deliberate fraud.
The find comes after a report of a government document indicating that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s command center routinely monitors dozens of popular websites, including Facebook, Twitter, Hulu, WikiLeaks and news sites such as the Huffington Post and Drudge Report.
Reuters reported that a “privacy compliance review” issued by DHS last November confirms that since at least June 2010, the department’s national operations center has been operating a “Social Networking/Media Capability” which involves regular monitoring of “publicly available online forums, blogs, public websites and message boards.”
The government document states that such monitoring is meant to “collect information used in providing situational awareness and establishing a common operating picture” to help manage national or international emergency events.
While the DHS may be monitoring websites for security reasons, Sunstein advocated such actions with another goal in mind.

The Iranian attack on an American military vessel will serve as a justification and a pretext for a retaliatory move by the US military against the Iranian regime. The target would not be Iran’s nuclear facilities. The US would retaliate by attacking Iran’s navy, their military installations, missile silos, airfields. The US would target Iran’s ability to retaliate, to close down the Strait of Hormuz. The US would then follow by targeting the regime itself. Elimination of Iran’s nuclear facilities? Yes. This part would turn out to be the final act, the grand finale. It might have been the major target, had the US initiated the attack. However, under this “Pearl Harbor” scenario, in which Iran had launched a “surprise” attack on the US navy, the US would have the perfect rationalization to finish them off, to put an end to this ugly game.Perry’s use of quotation marks around the word “surprise” comes across as a literary device to imply that the so-called “surprise” attack will not be a surprise at all.Of course, the Pearl Harbor attack, which provided the pretext for America’s formal entry into World War Two, was not

Are you a conservative man? Does every news story on the Republican primaries cause inexplicable knee jerk reactions? Are you beginning the long, painful symptoms of carpal tunnel from commenting too much on political forums? Are you having panic attacks at the thought of a Mitt Romney victory in South Carolina? Have the words, “Santorum has got to drop out…he’s splitting the conservative vote,” or “it’s finished,” become part of your everyday lexicon?
If you’ve answered yes to all of these questions, you’re likely a man that suffers from ‘Premature Pull-Out Syndrome.’ But you’re not alone.

If you’ve ever used the Internet, you have an online identity. Maybe it’s slight: a Hotmail account here, a comment on a news story there. Or maybe you’ve been more prolific, leaving a trail of usernames, accounts, messages, and profiles across the digital landscape. In any case, an active internet user owes it to himself to do a bit of self-Googling. What you’ll find will be both enlightening and humbling—even worrying.
