Drudge has a story about Obama getting off of Air Force One in Arizona, greeting Republican governor Jan Brewer, and immediately giving her a piece of his mind. Evidently our president did not appreciate something Brewer wrote about him. According to the pool report, they had a testy exchange from which the president walked away as Brewer was still speaking.

The title of this column is a caption from a recent CNN poll news item which contained some extraordinary comments from poltroons like Jon Kyl of Arizona, a counterfeit U.S. Senator who sold out the people of Arizona and these united states of America with his solid support of lawlessness and the recently defeated amnesty bill. Kyl is quoted in the aforementioned: “It is a sad commentary in America today that many Americans have lost faith in their government,” Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Arizona, said. He added, “Americans don’t believe that their government is representing them, is acting on their behalf. The polls show it.”…..

NEW YORK (AP) — Facebook will start requiring people to switch to a new profile format known as Timeline, making photos, links and personal musings from the past much easier to find.

Timeline is essentially a scrapbook of your whole life on Facebook, compared with a snapshot of you today found on Facebook’s traditional profile page. Once activated, Timeline replaces the current profile.

Although some people have already voluntarily switched to Timeline, Facebook hadn’t made that mandatory. Beginning Tuesday, Facebook is telling some users that they have seven days to clean up their profiles before Timeline gets automatically activated. Facebook is rolling out the requirement to others over the next few weeks.

At some point, even those who haven’t logged on to Facebook in a while will be automatically switched.

Timeline doesn’t expose anything that wasn’t available for sharing in the past. Many of those older posts had always been available. People could get to them by continually hitting “Older Posts,” although most wouldn’t have bothered. Timeline allows people to jump to the older material more quickly.

Timeline also doesn’t necessarily reflect the fact that your circle of friends has likely expanded in recent years. A party photo you posted in 2008 to a small group of friends would be more visible to relatives, bosses and others you may have added as friends since then.

You’ll have a week to curate the Timeline by moving stuff around, hiding photos or featuring them more prominently on your page.

Obama boycotting Georgia eligibility hearing…

Barack Obama has announced through his attorney that he will boycott the administrative hearings scheduled tomorrow in Georgia to review evidence of whether he legitimately is a candidate for the presidency, prompting an attorney for one set of the plaintiffs to describe the nation’s commander-in-chief as acting like a “5-year-old brat.”

A letter apparently from his lawyer, Michael Jablonski, was posted today on the website for California attorney Orly Taitz, whose determined pursuit of Obama’s eligibility documentation has taken her to courts across the nation, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jablonski told Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp in the letter that “serious problems” had developed in the hearings “pending before the Office of State Administration Hearings.”

He said, “At issue in these hearings are challenges that allege that President Obama is not eligible to hold or run for re-election to his office, on the now wholly discredited theory that he does not meet the citizenship requirements.”

Breaking News: Obama’s Attorney In Georgia Ballot Challenge Refuses To Appear At Hearing

President Obama’s private attorney Michael Jablonski has issued a letter to the Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp confirming that he will not attend the Georgia Access Ballot Challenge hearing set by the Honorable Judge Michael Malihi for January 26, 2012 at 9am.

Obama and his attorney are acting like frightened 5 year olds. In his letter he ignores the other 2 attorneys, but is pretty much saying ‘I am afraid of Orly”.

See the letter attached. What Obama is asking now, is totally insane. He is asking the Secretary of State of GA to take the trial away from the judge on the eve of the trial. He is mostly crying on the shoulder of the Secretary of State of GA and saying that Orly is bad, because she issued all of those subpoenas. So after the judge told Obama, that the subpoena, that I issued was perfectly valid and he had to appear in court tomorrow and bring with him all of the documents, that I demanded, Obama decided to go behind the back of the judge and send the same complaint about me to the Secretary of State and he is asking the Secretary of State to take the trial away from the judge.

Years after it happened I had an argument with a family member who was and is a liberal and who worked in the news business. The argument was about Clinton and his problems and I mentioned this story. The family member had never heard of it.But then the news media did a good job of keeping it under wraps

He sneered that it must be some bimbo making unfounded accusations against Clinton. So much fo staying up on the news.

(Jan. 25, 2012) — We’ve all read those horror stories when “pet snake eats baby,” where the “pet” was a 16-foot anaconda, and “child bitten on neck by family pet rattler.” Your first thought was, “What were these people thinking?” when the answer is abundantly clear: they weren’t. Reminds me of Russia and China playing with Islamic Caliphates: what are they thinking? Surely they fail to see any correlation between the aforementioned snake owners and themselves.

If there is one glaringly weak spot that the United States has, it’s the lack of a comprehensive and logical foreign policy. Reminds me of the face-off between Alan Keyes and Soetoro, aka Obama, in South Side Chicago. Keyes offered fishing lessons: teach them how to fish, they can feed themselves for life, whereas the Obama character said, “Stay on welfare and I (the government, aka taxpayers) will give you fish for the rest of your life.” Well, we all know that the voters opted for dishonor, shame and a “free ride” (on the taxpayers’ dime), instead of the pride in earning the money in their pocket, an excellent example of the “give me, I somehow deserve it” mentality.

The State Department has treated whole countries as our government treats sections of large American cities.. And the irony is similar: you can’t buy friendship, or trust, or respect; they all must be earned. Liberal members of Congress can’t safely walk in the welfare neighborhoods at night, but they can if the hood is composed of those who work for a living.

President Obama delivered a State of the Union address Tuesday night that by the account of his own advisers is more campaign document than a plan for governing. He’s running against Republicans in Congress, Reaganomics, wealthy bankers and inequality.

Normally a President at the start of his fourth year would be running on his record, accentuating the legislation he’s passed. Mr. Obama can’t do that with any specificity because the economic recovery has been so weak and the legislation he has passed is so unpopular. So last night he took credit for the shale gas revolution he had nothing to do with…

The nearby chart compares rates of quarterly growth during the Reagan and Obama economic recoveries. The comparison is apt because both recoveries followed deep recessions in which the jobless rate reached more than 10%. Once the Reagan recovery got cooking, in 1983, growth stayed above 5% for 18 months and never fell below 3.3% for 13 consecutive quarters.

In the Obama recovery, growth has never exceeded 4% in any quarter and fell off markedly in mid-2010 through the third quarter of 2011. For the first nine months of 2011, growth averaged less than 1.2%. The economy finally picked up again in the fourth quarter, but still at a rate that is subpar for a recovery that long ago should have become robust and durable.

New Hampshire business owners could soon have the legal right to decide who they serve.

Lawmakers are debating a bill that would let a business refuse service to any couple, for any reason.

As a business owner, Tim Kierstead believes in the right to run his restaurant the way he sees fit.

“I think each business has the right to do as they choose,” he told WBZ-TV.

But as a gay man, he has a real problem with the new bill being proposed.

It would allow businesses to refuse service to a couple if they didn’t agree with their marriage.

The bill never specifically mentions gay marriage and opponents say it could be used to allow businesses to discriminate against anyone whose marriage they didn’t agree with.

The bill’s co-sponsor Rep. Frank Sapareto, a Republican from Derry, said this is not a gay rights issue, but a religious freedom case.

“We’re certainly taking people’s freedoms away as we make more and more laws that force them to provide occupation or services that violate their beliefs,” Sapareto told WBZ.

In the wake of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s run in with the TSA this week, his father, GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul, has launched a new fundraising effort with the theme ‘End the TSA’.

In an email to supporters Monday, Ron Paul wrote that the Senator “simply stood up for his right not to be the latest victim of the TSA’s disgusting full body pat-down.”

“The elderly. The disabled. Little kids. All victims of an out-of-control police state that, while doing nothing to make us safer, is working overtime to strip away our freedoms, our rights, and our basic dignity,” Paul added.

“As President, I pledge to do everything in my power to strengthen our national security by ending the theatrical sham that is the TSA,” the Congressman urged.

“Give whatever you are able right away to our End the TSA Money Bomb to help us keep the spotlight on this out-of-control organization and restore respect for freedom and common decency to the White House,” Paul urged his supporters.

One only had to wonder how long it would take before there would be open confrontation between a member of Congress and the TSA, and it finally happened with the detainment (and that is what it was) of Rand Paul in Nashville on Monday. That was bad enough, but when one takes into account the larger picture of separation of powers, it is even worse.

Many years ago, I asked then-Tennessee U.S. Senator Jim Sasser in a public forum why Congress did not have to obey the laws it imposes on the rest of us. Sasser, unfortunately, answered by saying that the Senate was full of the greatest people he ever had known, which was not a real answer, but neither was Sasser exactly a bright bulb of knowledge. To him, the whole thing was a power play, and he had power, and I didn’t.

Except that Sasser unknowingly had a very important principle on his side, the separation of powers as listed in the U.S. Constitution. (I have to thank Lew Rockwell for pointing out this issue to me, and I admit it opened my eyes to a lot of things regarding the law and the growth of executive power.)

The founders of the United States had laid out three branches of the central government, and also had constructed legal walls between the central government and the states, all known as “separation of powers.” There were to be limits upon the powers of people in those entities, and in the case of Congress and the executive branch, one of the provisions was the prohibition upon detaining members of Congress on their way to legislative sessions. As Mac Slavo has written, this provision existed to keep political rivals, be they in legislative, state or the executive branches, from using arrests as political tools to prevent legislators from voting.

What do establishment Republicans and liberal Democrats have in common? They’ve long labored under a shared misconception: conservative candidates are unelectable.

In 1980, conventional wisdom held that Ronald Reagan didn’t stand a chance against Jimmy Carter. The GOP leadership, the mainstream media and liberal politicos alike lined up against the Gipper in an attempt to derail his presidential campaign.

Rush Limbaugh recently addressed this phenomenon on his radio program: “Gerald Ford said that Ronald Reagan was unelectable. George H.W. Bush said that Ronald Reagan was unelectable. The entire Republican establishment thought Ronald Reagan was unelectable because they were governed and informed by the Goldwater landslide defeat. That’s what they think will happen to every conservative.”

That’s what they think will happen to Newt Gingrich.

The ‘Anti-Spooky Dude Posse’ attracts Glenn’s attention to ‘Bring Back Beck’

The ‘Anti-Spooky Dude’ posse behind a new website called Sorosfiles.com, a project of America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) has launched the ‘Bring Back Beck’ campaign: “Tell Fox News to stop selling out to Soros.”

The two-man, one-woman posse of Cliff Kincaid, Trevor Loudon and Tina Trent, is staked out on the trail to smoke out the latest swerve to the left by Fox News. This posse is no pussy. Their smoke rings already reached Glenn Beck, who thanked them and Canada Free Press (CFP) for promoting the ‘Bring Back Beck’ campaign in opening remarks on GBTV last night.

No word yet if Fox sniffed the smoke rings.

No problem to Kincaid, Loudon and Trent who know that any good posse only has to wait for the growing “Fox News Family” to come trotting down the trail.

Kincaid, Loudon and Trent are the mainstays of a public policy group dedicated to exposing the role of hedge fund billionaire George Soros in Obama’s radical Transformation of America.

Red diaper babies have been taking over the Fox News nursery since Beck was shown out of Dodge.

Significantly, it puts on paper and into the Congressional record a proposed transition from outwardly dealing with the threats posed by terrorism towards intelligence gathering “focused on more specific homeward-focused areas.” That is, the homegrown, domestic threats we’ve heard so much about from Big Sis already.

In short, it confirms the intentions of key insiders– including former NSA/CIA head Michael Hayden, former Rep. Jane Harmon, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, 9/11 Commissioners Philip Zelikow and Richard Ben-Viniste, former National Security Advisor Samuel Berger and others– to flesh out a plan we have already seen developing from an outside perspective– namely, to build a domestic Stasi-like force to takeover, monitor and control the population.

Moreover, the media has reported on this changed mission– towards the full spectrum domination of the people under a patently-fascist framework– with the same calm as the weekly weather forecast.

LOCALIZED INTELLIGENCE: HIRING POLICE & BOWING TO PRIVATE INTERESTS

Achieving this new aim includes co-opting local law enforcement and other regional agencies.

“As the threat grows more localized,” the report reads, “the federal government’s need to train, and even staff, local agencies, such as major city police departments, will grow.”

That’s right, the feds want to oversee the hiring of your local police.

Fusion Centers, now spread across the nation, have already infected police agencies and local governments with a federalization takeover mentality……
